Pat and Josiah were fantastic! I appreciated their punctuality. They started the job at the time communicated to me and it was completed by the time communicated to me. They were professional, polite, and patient while answering my questions and helping me connect my phone to the new thermostat. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves as well. The biggest shout out I have for them is that they went in/out of the house all day without letting any of my cats escape, something I can't even do on a daily basis. Keith from the sales team was also great. He was knowledgeable and professional as well.

Pat, Josiah and David from 72 Degrees installed a new Furnace/AC in my home and did a great job. They took care to not scratch or damage wood floors and carpeting and everything was very clean when they left. They spent time explaining everything they were doing, showed me the changes they were making to get things to code, and how the new thermostat worked. Worked with Keith initially who walked through my options and give me a quote for the new system. They were all very professional and great to work with. I had gotten an estimate from another company but they did not point out the areas that were not to code and were planning to reuse some non-compliant PVC piping, so I think this is where 72 Degrees stands out.

Alberto S. is AWESOME! He is so knowledgeable and skilled in what he does, and he does a great job explaining all the options. As we were dealing with having a home warranty cover the repairs, he was very patient in going through that process. Above all, he's just a super friendly dude. Appliance/HVAC issues are super stressful, so the peace of mind for someone like Alberto is priceless. 72° as a company is great - fair pricing, great value and obviously great staff. We just moved into this condo the end of October. Our heat went out so we called the service number that came up on our thermostat. Aaron came out at 10:00 PM and was super friendly and knowledgeable. The problem was on the roof from the high winds and below freezing temps. Sam came out with another service person and got us up and running! We moved here from a small town and were used to local people we knew to do our repairs. The gentlemen performing the replacement of my HVAC system were very professional, personable and competent. Two things marred the operation. First was the required signature on two documents which I trustingly signed without having been informed what they were and without receiving copies. Secondly the rather expensive smart thermostat did what it was supposed to do except that it is reading 4 or 5 degrees too high after having checked two other thermometers. After having spent nearly $12,000 one would expect better. Now waiting to see what the response or fix will be.

We have used 72 Degrees for all of our heating and cooling needs for many years, from periodic maintenance to new system install, they have always been prompt and courteous! We recently had our twenty year old furnace replaced with a new high efficiency Lennox and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Pat and Josiah were very professional, from communicating the process, to explaining the new system, the installation was top notch, all the new pipes were perfectly straight and plumb, they were very diligent in their removal of the old furnace and water heater, we couldn’t have been more comfortable with them working in our home! The furnace in my new home wasn't heating. Called mid-afternoon on a Sunday, which was also a holiday. Scott arrived within an hour, diagnosed the problem, and promptly fixed it. I've worked with this company when I lived in my previous home, and the service provided on New Year's Day was similar to what I've experienced in my old home. There wasn't any type of sales pitch to sign up for an ongoing maintenance plan, even though 72 Degrees does have one of those, which I appreciated.

My water heater went out overnight, so it was a cold shower this morning. Not something that I wanted to repeat. I contacted 72 degrees at 8 and they were there by 9:30 to check things out. Since the water heater was 13 years old, it was time to go. They actually had a new water heater installed and working by early afternoon. Now that is service! Pat Naderman was the lead installer. Pat was thorough, competent, and easy to communicate with. You can tell Pat really enjoys this kind of work. That characteristic always adds value. Josiah, Pat's partner was also a pleasure. Today Pat and Josiah removed all the old equipment and installed new Lennox Air Conditioner and Furnace with a wifi thermostat. Also installed new water heater and Aprilaire humidifier on the furnace. They were both prompt and very efficient in doing the work. Pat was very patient helping me install the app on my phone and demonstrating how to use the thermostat. Keith was the contact setting up which new equipment to get and appreciate his help also. Big thank you to 72 degrees!! At first, I'm a little disappointed to hear that they don't install Goodman products, but Nathan is so knowledgeable to choose the AC + furnace + thermostat package by different brand, aiming to get the most out of the current rebates and tax credit benefits without stretching our budget. It was extremely easy to communicate with him by emails with the estimates and the website links of the suggested products. (72 degrees also takes care of registration and rebates for me!) On the installation day, Pat and Josiah came over. They are very professional. The installation was so precise in details and beautifully done !!! (Also, during the installation, Pat even offered to finish the spray paint on the metal bracket, which I partially painted without taking out the old AC. He scraped the rust and sprayed it for us before putting the new AC without extra charge.) I really appreciated his kindness and all their hard work!!

Sam came out to my apartment last night 6/15 because I had no AC. He was so polite, happy and respectful. He checked everything out and it was my thermostat that was the issue, he reset it so I could get my apartment cooled down. I really recommend this company and their employees are amazing! I always get nervous about people coming to my house because I am a single mother but he made me feel comfortable and informed! I can’t say it enough, but he was so professional and kind and walked me through everything. If I ever have any need again I sure hope Sam can come out again because it was the best experience ever!

Last week my AC froze up and of course it was the first hot week of the year and everyone's units were breaking down. Every company I called said it would be days or even a week before they could help except for 72 degrees! They were the ONLY company who was working longer hours to try and assist customers and were able to come out the same day!! I was beyond relieved. I worked with both Zack and Keith that night and they were both amazing. They were polite, honest and very detailed in my options. Keith was here until 10 pm which is beyond my expectations and saved me a hotel stay by getting my AC to take a temporary recharge. Ultimately it was determined I'd go ahead and replace both my AC and Furnace as they both beyond their normal lifespan and the deal I was given for the replacements was too good too pass up. Pat and Josiah came yesterday to do my install and once again I'm beyond impressed. They were so kind and got it all installed and cleaned up everything afterwards. Not only do I highly recommend 72 degrees I will not call anyone else in the future as they are now my go to HVAC servicer!

Update 1/23/19: Updating from a 1 star to a 4 star. The owner has called and left a couple voicemails wishing to speak to me. He apologized and explained that these actions do not fall in line with company processes and procedures. He explained updates he is making to ensure something like this does not happen to anyone in the future. I appreciated his sincere follow up. 72 Degrees provided a boiler inspection on a house we were purchasing a few months ago (requested by us - company selected and paid for by sellers - $75). The inspection came back and reported that the boiler was in full working condition. Fast forward 5 weeks when we went to turn on the heat and about a quarter of the house was not getting heat. I identified that a couple of the lines coming off the boiler were not getting hot. I called into the company and explained the recent inspection and the current issue. They had someone come out the next week. I reiterated the recent inspection and showed them the paperwork and proceeded to show him which lines were not heating up. He bangs on the pipes for about 3 minutes, took a couple pictures and said he would have to send pictures back into the office to see what they thought. He then proceeded to tell me there was an $89 diagnosis fee. I brought up the prior inspection but he disregarded it and proceeded to write up the diagnosis invoice. Fast forward almost 2 weeks of not hearing from them, I tried mutliple times to contact the office and they kept stating they would have someone get me on the schedule. On my 3rd attempt, the lady at the office finally just set up an appointment and said she would have someone come out. I cancelled our plans for that evening and waited at home. 14 minutes before that person was scheduled to arrive, i received a call stating he just reviewed my order and determined it could not be fixed and we would need to cut all of the lines and replace the whole valve system. I asked for an estimate and he stated around $1200 but couldnt get too specific without looking into it more. He pushed to get me on the schedule to repair it (finally). I told him I was going to speak with my wife and get back to him. The next day, it dawned on me that there was a home warranty. I proceeded to call them and within 1 week, we had heat in the whole house. The issue? Flushed the pipes and remove some build up and air pockets. Although it was covered under warranty, I asked what it would have cost, and he said probably umder $100.....which is about what i paid for 72 Degrees to come out and confirm what i told them the issue was over the phone. Not to pleased with the ethics or workmanship of this company.

We knew we were at the end of the line with our AC and close to it with the furnace and water heater. We've been on 72's maintenance program for years and they've always been great to work with. They gave us clear quotes on three different options and installed a couple days later. Pat and Josiah did a great job on our AC, furnace, and water heater. On time, clean install, no leftover mess, and then walked thru everything without that feeling of them hurrying out the door. They even gave some great tips when it comes to things like snow drifts on the side of the house, the new filter rating, new drain lines, etc. This is the business and type of people you want to use.

We bought our new furnace and AC from Costco in 2017 and had them installed by 72 Degrees. We were very happy with the work the installers did and have had no issues with the system. We signed up for the company's MAP service contract, which provides an annual seasonal checkup for each unit. Daniel has been our technician for the past two checkups, and he is exceptional. He is very thorough, spending twice as much time as the service techs from other companies did on our old HVAC system. We are confident that if we ever have a problem with our furnace or AC, we can call 72 Degrees and someone will be over quickly to resolve it. But with this level of preventive maintenance, we don't expect any problems. Top notch service!

I called at 2:00 on a Friday because my water heater wasn't working. They were the only place that could come out that day and it was going to be after hours and an extra service charge. I agreed because I wanted hot water. I had another company request pics of the make/model and of the unit. I sent those and they told me I needed a new water heater and it would be $1800. Sam called at 3:00 and said he was running ahead and could be here in 10 minutes which would save me the after hours charge. He was super professional and it took him all of 3 minutes to diagnose it as a dirty flame sensor. It was fixed in about 20 minutes at a total cost of $145. I couldn't have asked for a better service tech or better customer service. Sam wore a mask and maintained social distancing which was also very much appreciated. Everything was top notch!

We called 72 degrees to get a new furnace. They were able to meet with us quickly and described everything in detail. We felt well informed. They came to install the furnace and everything went well . . .until we discovered a bit of an issue. We never expect perfection from anyone, as that is nearly impossible to obtain, but a company can be a 5 star company based on how they handle issues when they arise. That was the case here. When the furnace was installed, a factory default was not switched off so the furnace was not actually working. When we called 72 Degrees about this, they were out at the house within 2 hours and fixed the issue quickly with no charge to us. I like a company that responds fast and owns their mistakes. That is the sign of a good company to me!

I had 72 degrees come out to perform a seasonal tune up on our furnace. We bought our house a few years ago and the furnace is about 10 years old and I wasn't sure if a tune up had ever been done. Sam & Andrew came out and explained what all they would be doing and they were very kind and courteous! I had one part that wasn't failing yet but the readings were lower than should be. They were not pushy at all and explained that they could replace it now or I could wait until it did fail. They even tested it right in front of me to show me the readings. I recently had a technician, Daniel Milligan come out to help me with my air conditioner on Monday. He was AWESOME. First, he came out as a surprise during the day, after I was told no one would be available until after hours. That of course saved me the after-hours fee, which I was grateful for. Then, we walked out to look at the unit together, and was able to tell me exactly what the problem was, and what he was going to do to fix it. Not only that, but as he went through the steps to fix the unit, Murphy's law put up a good fight. Things like missing hardware from the previous installation, and even a bent bolt on the new fan motor he installed presented tons of challenges - the ones home projects usually do. But Daniel was prepared, and able to improvise when needed to get the job done relatively quickly, and without help from a higher up, or a trip to the hardware store. I would absolutely recommend him and this company to anyone.

We enrolled in the Annual Service with them last summer. This visit for furnace check caught a small gas leak. Alek, the service tech was diligent in getting it fixed. Even though he had to do a lot of extra work to get to the actual pipe, they only charged me for an hour. Technician David came to install a water pump on my furnace because the drain for the water was going up hill and water was backing up into my furnace. He was very polite, clean, quick-working and clearly knew what he was doing. He came prepared with all the equipment he would need (I have had several companies that would need to leave in the middle of repairs, so annoying!) and he got right to work. He tested everything to ensure it all worked properly before cleaning up his work-space and leaving. He even finished 20 min early! 72 degrees came out last week to take a look at my AC which had stopped working. The tech was nice and efficient. Found the capacitor to be bad and replaced it on the spot. 3 days later the air stopped kicking in again. Set the thermostat and it would be 10 degrees warmer still at the end of the day. I gave them a call and they sent someone out; of course it works on the day the tech comes out. The tech who came seemed to be annoyed that he had to come out - not listening to me explain the issue and felt to be writing me off. He said there was no issue, told me it was because it's an old house (though the house temperature was 10 degrees warmer than what the thermostat was set at and couldn't maintain temperature for three straight days before) and on top of it? $89 fee when I had just paid them to be out less than a week before. His reason? Stating it was because it was an "unrelated" fix - yet he said there was nothing to fix? Pretty disappointed. Will be looking elsewhere for any future heating and cooling issues/work. I'm updating my post as the manager reached out to me in regards to the experience - even reimbursed me. I appreciate the concern and care for clients having a good experience and for the lasting impression that is left - it's very obvious that they want to make things right when things have not. I appreciate it!!

Nathan came out for and estimate, we talked, he measured the window openings, for air loss. Provided us with a detailed estimate,. About a week ago Chad & Ben installed a full system. They called first, arrived on time. Chat explained that he wanted to re-position the new furnace and stated why, I agreed , then they began. Removed the old system and installed the new Lennox. Did a neat & clean job, the wiring is routed and cabled tied. The pipe joints are clean and neat. The sheet metal fits properly. Cleaned up and removed the old units and debris. Went thru the new systems functions with my wife & me, Showed us how the Wi-Fi thermostat works. I STRONGLY recommend using 72 Degrees Comfort Company. They are a professional organization, and do not use sub-contractors.
