Had service done through my home Warranty program and Steel T Heating came out to service our home. I am no expert but I feel as though they could have done much less and still resolved the issue at hand but I feel they went the extra mile to pipe the pvc all the way to the drain so that it would lay flush with the drain plate. Then they scanned the entire HVAC unit and made a few other adjustments that the builder failed to make during initial install. I really appreciated the detailed attention that was put into the job. I am not one to leave lengthy reviews but I am compelled to do so with Steel T. The experience I had was truly unprecedented. From the moment I spoke to a real person on the phone to the two installers who treated me like their family. Daniel and his assistant worked quietly all day replacing my furnace. They took care to not make a mess and considered my home as their own. At the end, they explained everything using terms I could easily understand and made certain all my questions were answered. Daniel ensured that they would return twice per year for the general inspection and to make sure all was in working order. I have found the best HVAC company on the planet!!

Steel T provided excellent service as we had our heater go out late one night. Chris helped us troubleshoot and the heater at 10pm on a Saturday, and Nathan came out early Sunday morning. He was able to fix the heater by patching one part and fabricating another part. Nathan was extremely courteous and helpful in explaining what the problem was, how it would be fixed, general maintenance and care, how to register the products, etc. Highly recommend!

We’ve been searching for a great HVAC company since we moved here 7 years ago and after lots of challenging experiences with other companies we’ve found our go to! We’ve had them out twice now and both times they were prompt, communicated extremely well before during and after, and helped us solve our problems fast. The first time they were out we were having issues with our refrigerant line freezing and they fixed it by tightening the screw connecting the line to the system. 3 other techs and their supervisors from other companies had been out prior to that without finding the issue and tried telling us we needed to purchase a whole new system! The second time, they fixed the igniter problem on our furnace less than 24 hours from when we reached out and they found two other issues that they troubleshooted and solved for us that will help our system run more efficiently. Steve from Steel-T came out to replace a gas valve on my furnace. After examine and testing the gas valve he determined that it didn’t need replacing. He could have done the replacement and charged me for it but showed his honesty and integrity by not doing that. He explained things in detail while here. the technician was fabulous. the company not so much. the company knows that my particular furnace has a defective part manufactured by Carrier and that it only takes a flick of the wrist to spin a wheel and the furnace will turn on, possibly being that the furnace will last many more years. they do not tell you to try that, but instead send someone out who then charges the standard fee of $185 for a minimal maintenance call. I'd say that was pretty minimal and I could have done it myself.

Called because my AC wouldnt turn on. It's an old unit so i fully expected to have to replace the unit. Matt was on time, friendly, polite and quickly realized the only problem was a disconnected wire in my thermostat. No trying to convince me that I still should replace the AC. My A/C went out Sunday, of course right when the temperatures were headed back into the 90's. I called Steel T, as they had given me a bid several years back on a new A/C system and handled that very professionally, first thing Monday morning and they scheduled a service tech for Wednesday afternoon. Their tech called Wednesday afternoon to let me know he was 20 minutes out. The service tech, Joe, showed up exactly 20 minutes later in a nice clean Steel T service truck and had a clean uniform on. Joe was informed of the problem and immediately went to work. Joe diagnosed the problem quickly, which was a failed capacitor, replaced the part and did a complete check up service of my AC system. Joe left after about 1-1/2 hours and my house cooled down nicely. I couldn't be more pleased by the professionalism of Steel T from the service dispatcher I spoke to, the service tech Joe the clean company truck and the good attitudes. I will definitely call Steel T for any future HVAC needs I have. In this crazy time of Covid and material and labor shortages it's great to see and experience a good company who cares about customers!

We saved $400 plus they took care of filling xcel rebates for us which is about $600 in saving! They were clean and made sure to pick up after they were done. Very impressed!! My first experience with Steel T was part of my house warranty. The builder sent them to fix a condensation leak for the furnace. They detected the issue and fixed it quickly. No issues since then! The second time I contacted Steel T was to install a whole house steam humidifier. After getting quotes from different companies, I decided to move forward with Steel T's Carrier steam humidifier. It was not cheap, but you do get what you pay for. The installation went smoothly (took about 4 hours total) and all my questions were answered. So far the humidifier works great!

Very professional team, great experience. Furnace had class action/warranty issues but Steel T was knowledgeable and able to help us deal with them and get the furnace going again. Had another well-known plumbing/HVAC company come out for a quote - didn't care about the warranty issue and wanted to charge almost 3 times the price I paid with Steel T!

Steel T did an excellent job this week coming to my home on Monday and installing a new furnace the next day. My furnace was leaking carbon monoxide on Friday and had to be shut down. The fire department was called and they suspected the furnace was the issue. A tech came to my home on Saturday and said it was not safe to use. I made an appointment for Monday at noon with Mike from Steel T and he came on time, was very friendly, straight forward and explained everything. The company left us two space heaters to use and offered more if we needed them. Mike was honest and everything he said would take place, did. They were at my home at 8:20 the next morning, they installed everything, were very respectful and this type of honesty and service is rarely seen anymore. I highly recommend using this company and this is my first experience with them and they were excellent to work with.

I selected Steel T to replace my AC when it failed and decided to do my furnace at the same time. Among 4 bids Steel T's service stood out, beginning with the sales process where they properly sized my equipment and did not try to upsell me equipment like a thermostat that was not needed. They even presented options without the furnace as my existing unit was working. Mike was a great help throughout the process. Their bid was itemized and showed the Xcel rebate, an optional cash discount for different combinations of furnace and AC, and even listed the model numbers with links to Carrier's website for more information. During the installation, the installers Brandon and Jonas did a great job carefully removing the existing equipment from my utility closet and sealing all the ducting before installing the new furnace and AC coil. Licensed electricians also showed up briefly to reconnect the high voltage wiring and confirm the breaker amperage. They were careful to place drop cloths in my living areas and cleaned up any debris in the closet when they were done. Following the install, Steel T setup a check in for 2 weeks out where one of their technicians would come by to see if I had any followup questions and check on the equipment. They also registered the new units for me ensuring I get the 10yr warranty and submitted the Xcel rebate on my behalf. Overall, I was very pleased with their service and would recommend them. There are cheaper options, but the quality of service from sales to installation and confidence they inspire makes Steel T stand out.

I purchased a new home 2 years ago and this July the AC unit quit cooling. I called the folks at Steel T HVAC because they had installed the system originally. I was able to set up an appointment at my convenience which was nice with my crazy schedule. The crew arrive a bit early and was very professional. The tech discovered a tiny "pin hole" in the joint in the line to condenser and that all my coolant had leaked out. They repaired the joint and refilled the coolant and thoroughly tested it to make sure everything worked correctly. The best part was it was covered under warranty since there was no abuse to the system on my part. Highly recommend Steel T HVAC.

Could not have been more pleased with my entire interaction with Steel-T. They promptly answered the phone when I called on Wednesday and transferred me to a scheduler who sought to understand the issue prompting my call and then told me that Steve would be arriving between 8 and 12 Friday morning. She also said that Steve would call about 30 minutes before arriving at my house. That is exactly what happened. When Steve called shortly after 8 on Friday to tell me he would be arriving soon, I asked him if he had booties to wear over his shoes in the house. He said that they always cover their shoes when entering a customer’s home. Following his arrival, Steve diagnosed and fixed the problem in short order, and everything has worked perfectly ever since. After fixing the problem, he briefly retreated to his truck to prepare the bill, which he reviewed with me on a hand-held device and subsequently e-mailed to me. I paid him, and he was on his way. Steve was very personable, communicative, and competent. I will definitely call Steel-T the next time I have a need for HVAC service. Oh, and the price for the service was very reasonable.

I am a business owner and don't like writing bad reviews. I'll go out of my way, not to. Steel T said they do commercial HVAC work. Our furnace wasn't working in one of our locations and they said it was a 26 year old furnace and that there was a bearing issue and I should replace it. I appreciate their ability to diagnose the issue but since we're in a commercial location and have a limited number of months left on our lease, we're not willing to buy a new furnace. I asked for a price to fix it and was put on a long hold (this was my second attempt to reach someone to talk to about this and went through a long hold). They said they'd get back to me. That was last Friday and today is Wednesday and I haven't heard anything. We're having some pretty cold weather, so I realized we needed to hire another company to figure this out. I paid $240.95 for this service. Follow-up: A person from Steel T contacted me and let me know how this situation occurred. I appreciate the business's willingness to follow up on this though this event cost me and not them, other than this review - thus only adding one star.

Jason Winter was our technician and came out to look at and fix our furnace, which was only 2 years old. He realized we called a long time ago and for whatever reason they never addressed the issue. When Jason saw that we originally called a some time ago - he immediately waived all fees and continued to work and fix the issue with our furnace free of charge. Made an appointment earlier in the week and was set for an 8-12 window on Saturday. Which is great. much less disruptive to work and school from home. Was told get a call when they were heading to my place. Great. It should always be this easy. Saturday rolls around, I make sure I am up and about at 8 and that we have masks handy, etc. Hours roll by then noon hits. I call the office to see what is going on. Turns out they never entered my appointment in the system. They are unprofessional and barely apologetic. Maybe they have so many customers that boofing one appointment is not a big deal. Dunno. I rescheduled to give them a chance to succeed. I'll write a review based on the retry.

Awesome deal, great employees, good quality products. We recently got a new HVAC system. When a technician came to check out what was wrong with my old HVAC he found out why it was broken within 20 minutes of him being here. We had four other technicians from different companies before and they kept giving us the runaround and telling us it was different problems. The gentleman gave us his honest opinion with regards to our system. So we decided to get a brand-new system because ours was over 20 something years old and he seemed like a very genuine person who wanted to give us his best advice.We ended up starting the process and when the specialist came out to check out the size of the house and do measurements so he could fit us with the best suited system he found that our vent was a backflow vent and nobody else told us that before. We always wondered why there was no air coming out of that particular vent. We were very impressed by their knowledge of the systems and on top of that how genuine, reliable, great priced their services are. Even the men who installed the HVAC were great and took the time to show us how to use our HVAC after they installed it and let us ask as many questions as we wanted to. We could have gone with many different companies as we looked for various quotes for the best deal since money is tight especially during this Covid right now. However, not only were their prices the best, but as a company and how genuine and knowledgeable the people of that company, they are the best! If I could give them 6 stars I would. I arranged with Steel T to have their two-season maintenance package. Shawn was scheduled to come today, and as requested he called a half hour before arriving. He spent over three hours here, taking apart the furnace and thoroughly cleaning the blower and other parts. I have pets, so there was a lot of cat/dog hair and dander. He was wonderful, explaining in detail what he was doing and afterward listing all the performance results on the job sheet/receipt. It was very impressive. He answered any questions I had and I will be sure to ask for Shawn to be the one to return in the fall when it's time to do everything again. Steel T is the company that installed the HVAC system when the house was built and their name and number is conveniently on the thermostat. That said, if they were not truly great at their job, I wouldn't be calling them 8 years later. They really do take care of their equipment and have kept it in working order. I would have to say that Shawn is the best technician yet. They are very sensitive to my needs back at the office (I asked if they could NOT send the last guy who was here, simply because I felt he was patronizing, and they noted it in my records so I won't have to worry about him being sent again). Shawn was the complete opposite of the last guy. He was helpful and thorough and not in a rush to get out of here. And no parts had to be replaced, which I really appreciated. I recommend Steel T very highly.

Outstanding. Steel-T workforce and the electrician they use epitomize the outstanding work ethic and work quality of the HVAC professional, setting a standard for others to follow. Throughout the process the comfort specialist, HVAC technicians, and electrician all showed their desire and passion for their professions. They went above and beyond that which I was expecting and the details show in their installation. The only thorn in my side is that the summer humidifier function, a function I explicitly talked to the comfort specialist about because of medical reasons and a determinant in my purchase, was disabled by the technician. In my mind, the technician should have advised me on using or not using the humidifier on my system during the summer, not eliminate my choice. Would I recommend Steel-T and the electrician they use, absolutely without hesitation.

So my ac hasn't been running in 2 weeks...brand new home so I was confused as to why. I checked the thermostat and tried different settings to no avail. I then went outside and noticed that the fan wasn't running. Note this is the first time attempting to use the ac. It's been getting pretty hot and I don't do well with heat. Trying to sleep upstairs has been a struggle. I finally had enough and called Steel T. It's father's day on a Sunday so I wasn't entirely sure if anyone would be able to help me today. Sure enough Steve called me right back and helped me figure out the issue right over the phone. He was very polite and knowledgeable. I have no idea what i was doing but he patiently explained what it is i had to do and solved my issue. Since he was able to help me over the phone he also saved me about 200 dollars. The techs have been very helpful in assisting me with trying to figure out what is not working properly with my new furnace system, they are 5 star. On the other hand, the guys that either designed my system improperly or the guys who installed my system improperly (not sure who made the miscalculation) screwed up. Some rooms have way too much air flow while other rooms have very close to zero airflow. I have even had to ask my builder to send me the Manual J and D duct design drawings and spec sheets so I can figure out what is supposed to be the functional parameters and what is actually taking place.
