The devastating cold that hit the country just prior to Christmas froze snd broke a hard to reach pipe in our home on the Eve. Jose responded on Christmas day and was able to get everything back up and running. The job was complicated and difficult, but Jose never gave up and kept working until the job was done. I would call him first if I ever needed a plumber, especially if it was an emergency.

Jose was absolutely incredible. I had a complex furnace issue that I needed to be immediately addressed because the outside temperature was 0 degrees. Jose came out just hours after I called. He walked me through the issue and allowed me to observe for my own benefit. Ultimately Jose informed me how to fix the problem and gave me two options: 1) to allow me to acquire the necessary parts myself and to install the parts myself, and only pay Jose a reasonable service fee or 2) to pay for the parts, installation, and the service fee. I chose the later and my furnace has been working great ever since.

I called around because I knew we needed to maintain our HVAC system and I had no idea where to start. I went with Right Away because the person I spoke with didn't want to just put me on a maintenance plan and take my money; he wanted to do the maintenance at the appropriate time in the season. I'm a newer home owner and have no idea what I'm doing and didn't even realize you should be replacing your filter, but Jose and his crew have been patient and gracious showing me how my house works, maintaining my systems, and keeping things running. (And when they showed me the crack in my exhaust fan, I knew they were serious, and they didn't try to upsell me on some new bells-and-whistles fancy furnace that I didn't need!)

After a spring snowstorm and power outage with cold temperatures my furnace did not come back on. Stepano was able to come over the next morning to check it out. After what looked like a quick fix it turned out to be more complicated. He was on the phone with tech support several times and after nearly 6 hours and a trip to get a new control board the heat was back on. Needed “emergency” service as our A/C wasn’t blowing cold. Out of like ten different companies I called, these folks had the soonest availability. Told me they’d be at our house between 6:00 and 10:00 p.m. Got a call around 2:00 and they were on the job 20 minutes later. Half an hour later we had cool air blowing. I agree with the rave reviews for Jose! We have had to call him on two separate Emergency occasions. Once when our water heater overflowed and again when we tried to install a new thermostat and the AC wouldn't work in 80+ degree weather. Both times Jose responded quickly, was honest and fair! I can't say enough about how grateful I am to Jose at Right Away Heating! My furnace went out on a Thursday night, and he came over after checking a couple of things over the phone with me. He discovered a hole in the vent pipe (probably not the right term), and came back the next day and fixed that. Unfortunately, with a 19 year-old furnace, that didn't fix the problem. He gave me a reasonable quote, walked me through the process, and he and his crew came out and replaced the furnace, the water heater, and the ac - in one day! We lost our hot water Friday night. I called around Saturday morning and most companies couldn’t make it out to our house until Monday morning. During an October surprise of two days of temperatures below 10 degrees, my furnace decided to stop putting out heat. I attempted some basic maintenance on my own but decided to bring in some professionals after that didn't work. I called probably 10 companies over the course of the night and finally found Right Away. They gave me a large window of arrival time but then showed up promptly after texting me they were en route. They checked things over and provided a simple fix in less than a few minutes. They then spent a good amount of time with me explaining some of the basic maintenance I could do, how to prevent the problem I had with an electrical switch, and that I should probably replace it soon in the future. They also gave me some tips on maintaining my whole-home humidifier. They only charged me their basic minimum service charge of $49, which I felt was great value for their quick response and solution to my problem. I would recommend them for furnace problems and repair.

I have used Jose and his team for multiple jobs on two houses. Repair and maintenance of a furnace and an a/c install. His work is quality, his prices are very competitive and the equipment he installs is top notch. He is easy to reach, responds promptly, was always on time and the work was completed efficiently and as expected. He takes his time to explain things, makes recommendations on what needs to be done to fix the problem as well as possible alternative solutions and recommendations for regular/delayed maintenance but he never pressures you into a hard sale. He presents the facts clearly, the minimum to fix what needs fixed and no pressure on the additional recommendations. I like his approach because it assured me that he wasn’t up selling me nor doing more work then what really needed to be done just for the billable hours. I have and would recommended Right Away plumbing and heating to anyone hands down, he has definitely earned my business for life.

Its never good when your AC goes out in the summer. I called quite a few places and they were either too busy, or unable to service a condo downtown. She had called a different company but they couldn't come out for several days and we couldn't wait. This past Saturday, late in the afternoon the thermometer outside read 98 degrees. The air conditioning shut down and I rushed around to see if I could spot the problem. I could not see any reason for it to shut down so my wife and I began calling contractors from a contractor recommendation web site. It was late in the afternoon so we knew our chances of contacting a contractor were slim to none. After leaving several messages we could only wait until someone called us back. The next morning after a restless sleep my wife was looking up another number to call when the phone rang. It was Jose, the owner of Right Away Heating and Air Conditioning. He called to ask if there was something he could do to help us out. What a great feeling it was to know someone was willing to call us on a Sunday morning. We coordinated a meeting time for the next morning between 8:00 and 10:00 and at 7:30am, Jose with Right Away was calling to ask if he could come a little early. In all honesty I think he diagnosed the problem within 2 minutes of arriving and was taking the condenser apart to reveal a dual run capacitor that had gone bad. He actually had the replacement capacitor in his utility van which was installed and the air conditioner running in less than 10 minutes. We found Jose’s prices to be very reasonable. He is extremely pleasant to talk with and very knowledgeable about the manufacturer of our home heating and air conditioning system. He offered to return in the fall and do a checkup of our system before we switch over to the winter system, which we definitely want him to do. My wife and I have met many contractors over the years through our business and know when we have found a good contractor. We will definitely keep the phone number for Right Away Heating and Air Conditioning on the top of our list for all future service calls and will recommend Jose to all of our friends. We slept so much better than night. Thank you Jose.

Right away heating was great, Call them at noon today and what here in 45 minutes was at my door. The air conditioner didn't work this morning and getting hot it air conditioner wasn't cooling down our house plus our thermostat also kept on clicking on and off so I knew we had to call somebody fast. If you have a problem these guys are the ones you call 1st! He solved my heating and air conditioning problem and got my air conditioner back running and working better than when I bought the house, they cleaned my motor which was fithy, cleaned out the blower wheel, and took care of some stuff downstairs that I didn't see or know about gave me a tune up and 45 minutes later Henry and the right away heating team were on their way! I recommend if your heater isn't working or your air conditioner isn't blowing cold or you need anything done these guys (right away heating) are the ones to choose each and every time. I have used many different people in the past waiting sometimes 24 hours to get service but not these guys they took care of me in a Flash and from what I was quoted by somebody else I saved $400 just by calling these guys. Thank you guys once again for coming out and taking care of my house and my air condition situations I guarantee you I'll use you from here on out. Definitely a 5 star service if not more!

Ive used Right Away Heating and Cooling now 2 times already and each time impressed with the knowledge Henry had with my old Heating and Hvac system I have. Whether it was my furnace problems not getting heat blowing to now my air conditioner not blowing cold air, he did a great job getting the furnace back on and kept family warm this winter (Dec 2020). Our furnace went out, I smelled gas, we evacuated the house in the middle of the night, we called the Fire Department and they turned off the lines, and my family spent a miserable cold night huddled under blankets. Right Away Heating came out the very next day before my family came home to a cold house. Henry came out, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and got the furnace working in under a half hour, all with a smile. My Family was warm and comfortable again this winter and today all cool again enjoying freezing temperatures in our house due to the amazing work by Henry at Right Away Heating and Cooling . Definitely 5 stars!

He fixed the problem for the price of the trip ($49). It was somewhat of a confusing problem that required him to do a thorough diagnostics of the circuit board, blow through a few fuses, and test every wire in there. Ultimately, the burnt wire was found and replaced. Have I mentioned a different contractor told me I needed a new furnace just a couple of hours earlier?? Jose is very knowledgeable, honest, hard-working, compassionate, and professional. He prides himself in a job well done and deserves your business. I know I will surely call him in the future for all my heating and air conditioning needs.
