All of the workman did an excellent job. Only one thing that we couldn’t get done was the thermostat. We couldn’t run new wires because of lath and plaster construction and cross beams that went through holding the existing wire. Other than that everything went perfect, and they installed a different thermostat which works just fine. So all in all I would give them about a 4 1/2*rating. This is the third time I’ve had Dr. Fixit come to my house and they’ve done an excellent job every time. So Dr. Fixit keep up the good work. Thanks again, James A Hall

Jay provided excellent customer service and was patient with my being in and out of calls throughout my workday from home. He was able to quickly identify the issue as not being kitchen sink drain related but rather with the line that ran up into the pull-down faucet. In addition he explained some additional measures that could alleviate at least one of the factors contributing to the kitchen sink issue and some problem areas elsewhere in our plumbing throughout our new home. We signed up for the monthly service as they were incredible on the phone and in person and the fee for the plan goes to charity which is great! 10/10, amazing customer service and cannot wait to work with Jay or anyone else in the future!

Matt did a very thoughtful and careful installation of a new boiler that had a lot of unique and tricky unconventional complications due to the site. He had a great eye for detail and big knowledge base so that he could troubleshot and solve all potential problems. The county inspector said how impressed he was with the work which gave me extra peace of mind that it was a job well done and money well spent. New boilers are like spaceships compared to the old one that was replaced.

Our 100 year old home with its terrible electrical finally gave out. Rodney was able to come help us on a Sunday night and make sure our heater was able to run through the night before coming to redo all our electrical the following days. We purchased our home 2 years ago and, on the prepurchase home inspection, were told that our furnace and AC were 20 years old and would need replacement in the next few years. This summer, the AC did not work well and we asked Dr. Fix-it to do a total system evaluation. Once apart, it was clear that the entire system had problems and, to avoid future emergencies, we chose to replace furnace and air conditioner. Dr. Fix-it was able to schedule work for the next day. The crew arrived on time and worked for 13 hours to complete the installation. Everyone was clean, professional and courteous. All (technician, project manager, electrician, plumber, installers) explained what they were doing and why and reviewed work with us. Since installation, we've been extremely pleased with the system operation. Dr. Fix-it has communicated with us several times since to be sure that everything had been taken care of and we had no questions. Reliable. They are not cheap but what Good plumber is? You have to pay for quality. They did a lot of work here and 🤞🏼The leak is gone. Rustin and Eric are real pro’s. I really enjoyed my experience with Doctor Fix It! We had a number of issues due to our property management company's negligence (Bungalow by the way, cannot discourage people enough from using them) but we had both Scott Munson and Patrick Cottam-Rhine who not just fixed the original problems they were called for, but identified multiple other very serious issues and insisted they be addressed. They both went above and beyond their job to advocate for us to get the maintenance we desperately needed, and we appreciate them so much!! Doctor Fix It as a company also did a great job confirming appointment times with us, keeping us informed about changes/processes/etc., and being comforting and personable (such as sending photos of who would arrive so we felt confident letting them into our home). I highly recommend!

I have been trying for months to get an itemized invoice from them for a $10k job they did so my insurance claim can move on and I can hopefully start to get some of that money back. The quality of work was pretty good. And I've used them a number of times and been pretty happy. But getting me a piece of paper that breaks down the costs of work they did should not be a hard thing to do. Edit: I’ve received the paperwork I asked for finally after two months of weekly calls. I’ve increased my rating from two to three stars now but we now have a concern about re-poured concrete that is becoming discolored and causing water to pool.

After thoroughly explaining and showing us how the system works, he took the time to answer each question we had. I called to schedule a service call on a Friday and was scheduled for the following Monday in the morning. The communication was terrific, and I received a text when the technician, as well as a picture, was on the way. I have to say that feature is really nice, so you have an idea of who is coming and that they are indeed the company employee. Upon arrival Ryan assessed the damage and said he'd need to get a splice kit. I had another contractor accidentally cut an electrical line. I then inquired about what other electrical repairs Doctor Fix-It does. Ryan said, 'pretty much everything!'. I then walked him around my carport, garage and side of the home where I had many fixes to be done. He then gave me a quote and it was extremely fair and reasonable. The next thing I knew he was sending Brian that same day to get a head start on a new electrical panel in the garage. He did a lot that day and they both returned on a Wednesday morning to finish up. It took the better part of the day. I received updated wiring, security lights, a new GFI electrical outlet mounted in the carport, new on/off switches as well as a new photo cell for an existing security light. All of this with breakers, labeling and everything else that is part of a new sub panel. These guys were top notch. Professional, courteous, mindful of my property, tidy and are highly experienced electricians. I was 100% plus pleased with the service. Not one glitch, not one problem, and they left my property a bit cleaner than when they arrived. I purchased the annual service plan for my furnace, hot water heater and it includes an electrical wiring check as well. I would highly recommend this company and am looking forward to doing business with them.

I've had 3 different plumbers from Dr Fixit take care of all the plumbing issues in my home and each provided excellent service. I asked alot of questions and each did not hesitate to educate me about my concerns. Also any additional problem I brought up was taken care of on the spot, I was not put off to have this additional need be addressed at a different appointment. The 3 plumbers i would highly recommend are Luis Urguiza, Frank Santilli & master plumber Eli Easter. I learned so much from these 3, they are patient, professional, knowledgeable, kind and caring people. The services were:hot water heater installed, water softener unit removed, 4 faucets repaired/replaced, sump pump installed, whole house water purification system installed, and, finally, Eli was able to address a problem with the outside outlets not working. Along the line I learned so much from these 3 professionals I highly recommend them. Can't forget customer service...everyone I had dealings was courteous, helpful and professional. Our AC went out over the weekend, and the HVAC company we'd done business with in the past has terrible customer service, so we decided to try another company. I'd heard Doctor Fix-It advertised on the radio so we took a chance with them. I spoke with Robin on the phone and she was very friendly and professional. A service technician, Eric N., came out to troubleshoot our 15+ year AC. Once he discovered what was wrong we sat down and he clearly explained the problem, and gave us several different options. We decided to do a full replacement of the AC (which was already past the end of it's life-cycle) and the furnace (which was not far behind). The installation team showed up the next day. Chris G. and Trevor S. were the consummate professionals. The skill and quality of their work is truly impressive. I had a great experience with the Doctor Fix-It team and will be giving them my business in the future.

I had a water heater installed along with some plumbing work a few years ago. So called them again when my furnace went out just after Christmas 2021. They were able to come out that same afternoon. The tech was informative and searched for parts but since the furnace was no longer made and had been installed by a different company incorrectly and parts were no longer made. Bottom line I had a new furnace and AC unit in less than 3 days later. I really appreciated the texts and the bit of background and photo that was included in the texts when they were on their way. I will be calling them when I need to replace my electrical panel, but I will wait for warmer weather for that since they were installing furnace and AC when the weather was in the teens. Had a service inspection done. Very reasonable price and thorough report. Our technician 's only recommendation was to have our air ducts cleaned. We booked the cleaning that day for a future date at a discounted price. He also explained everything that was done and the future air duct cleaning process and changed our furnace filter. Our furnace is in a crawl space, so changing the filter is not fun. Overall very happy with the service. We had our air ducts cleaned at the recommendation of the technician who did our furnace inspection. The job was done to our satisfaction with an improvement in furnace efficiency, seemed like much better air flow, and when we saw the pictures of what they took out of the vents, much better air quality, I am sure! They were very efficient and did a good clean up. Only small complaint was some scratches on our washer downstairs, going to try some scratch remover, which they said to let them know if that didn't work and they would see what they could do to help fix the scratches. Overall very happy with the work.

While Dr. Fix it is not a lawn/sprinkler repair company, I wanted to give them first right of refusal to repair the main backflow manifold that feeds my sprinklers as it cracked over the winter. The technician, Danny, was prompt and considerate. I was able to leave him to get the job done and was only bothered when he needed me to turn the main water back on. The job was done quickly and correctly. It may have been a bit more expensive than I would have liked, but having the warranty of work helps to swallow that cost a bit :-)

And with a smile on his face, he is a clean cut professional electrician that diagnosed the issues we have going on with our Breaker box and outlets. Dr. Fix It sent Eli to fix the leak that was dripping from our basement doorframe that we thought was happening when we ran the kitchen faucet. Eli quickly diagnosed that the water supply valve behind our non-ice maker refrigerator was the likely problem. It wasn’t shut off tightly enough. He cranked the handle down and the steady drip was gone. He also told us that a simple 1/4 inch thread cap and washer from Ace Hardware tightened on the stem would add double protection. An easy fix and no charge. Thanks Dr. Fix It. We’ll also be getting the maintenance plan he explained, as it’s the best one we’ve come across anywhere.

I found their information and a Valpack and gave them a call they contacted me back the same day and scheduled an appointment for the following week which was really impressive. The company is very communicative and punctual. I always received a text when a technician was on the way. They were very respectful during Covid protocols and wore masks and booties. The electrical technician explained everything in great detail when doing the inspection and was not overly pushy in recommending certain services. I like that our first service came with yearly inspections and checkups on our hot water heater.

Overall this has been a very professional business and I am a repeat customer for some large ticket items: rewiring, inside and outside sewer line replacement, and heat pump furnace/AC with whole house UV air sanitizer (right before Covid-19 - perfect timing!). I signed up for the annual maintenance program and a couple of years later everything is checking out top notch - a good sign the installation was too. The prices seemed high (everything these days seems price) but they were in line and the quality and peace of mind was worth it. They do not always remember the little follow-ups after the big work but I think they've been short-handed like the rest of the country so if you remind them, they will schedule it.

I used Dr Fix-It for two major jobs in a very old home. These were a ductless A/C system and a tankless hot water system. I wasn't initially planning on using them for all of this, but the work they did was high quality and the Dr does actually honor the warranty on their work. I know this because the pump component of the water system failed and a tech named Matt came to my home and fixed it for free. Good luck getting a craigslist contractor to come back and do free repairs on their work. This is ultimately what made me decide to go with the Dr to install the A/C as well. An energy audit a month back was done and Jose & Ulises confirmed what was already known and then some. Other companies gave me the run around; they did not! William and his crew did a full service upgrade to our 1980s electrical wiring and 1940s electrical meter so we could finish up our kitchen renovation. Everything was taken care of in a day and looks great! Everyone was friendly, responsive, and qualified, and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing significant electrical work done (and done quickly).

We used Doctor Fix-It after a friend's recommendation. They installed a new water-heater, updated our copper pipes and main water valve. They did not provide a receipt after the installation and we struggled to get a break down of pricing for 2-3 weeks after six phone calls. They also struggled to provide in writing their lifetime, transferable warranty to new owners. Our new water heater did not pass inspection initially and they failed to replace our evap cooler valve. Hence, only four stars. However, after we had our electric walk-through, their service was top-notch and we have not had any problems (new electric panel). Their warranty transferrable to new owners is a great deal as well. If you have issues with them, keep on them. Of course we all have our thresholds of patience. Updated: Since the above post, they have been terrific with their response and repairs. Jake with their quality control team is amazing.

They diagnosed the problem quickly and came and replaced all pipes including toilet in 1 day, but I did have to wait 4 days for actual fix, they were busy. Eli Easter was an incredible help to us. He showed up about 10 minutes after 'Time Plumbing' showed up and left to get a part (we called lots of places). Time Plumbing quoted us OVER $500 for a single part replacement that they didn't even have. Dr Fix It quoted us $60. That included the cost of labor. We were absolutely shocked by the amount the other guys tried to overcharge us. Not only was Eli knowledgable and trustworthy from the get go, he was super friendly and finished quickly. We even tried to tip him and he wouldn't accept it. This company is a class act in a field of work that can really screw you over. Use them and feel confident you're not being taken advantage of! Here we are at the beginning of the summer heat wave and suddenly the AC stops working. I call around and get quotes for other companies over a week or two before they could show up. End up calling Doctor Fix It and they were able to get out the same day. Since they price everything by the job, I was pretty concerned the bill for same day service would be hugely expensive but the only other option would be to sit and wait for a week and a half in the heat. Took the appointment this afternoon. My tech Joseph Romero was very friendly and upfront about the possible problem with the unit. I was very lucky that the issue was something simple to fix. On 2/16/2022, I had a state-of-the-art new circuit breaker panel installed by who I consider to be the best (he raises the completed job to the level of pure artistry) circuit breaker installers named Ryan. And even more amazing were the two outstanding Electricians, Brian and Seth who with determined effort, experience and tremendous skills completed the huge job of installing alumicons into all 35-40 electrical receptacles to make my home much safer and secure. Brian adeptly connected a 240-volt air humidifier attached to my horizontal furnace in my crawlspace. Both Brian and Seth were incredibly efficient and effective!!!! Promote these two electricians!!!! I can't say enough about how pleased I am with work done by the professionals at Doctor Fix It!!!!

I have had my furnace and AC from these guys for a year and I am happy with the work that was done and the extra stuff you get when you get items installed for you. I wanted to wait to give a review on these guys until everything I paid for was completed. The good news is that they hire well-mannered people, and they work fast and do their jobs well. Customer services are on point with everyone I worked with as well. However, these guys will make sure to nickel and dime you every chance they get. You only get a one year "membership" which lowers the price of their items but not by anything significant and one would likely get a better price elsewhere. An example of this would be my air filter which costs $50.00 everywhere else at the most, but these guys charge you $250.00 and with your sweet discount it rounds to $209.00. They also lie about how much your discount is. I was told that my filter would be 50% off and half of $250.00 is not $209.00. Marking up prices by 400% is wrong and disturbing when a company like this will get large shipments of these filters which likely makes them only a few dollars or less per filter. Another example would be their plumber tech gave me a quote for a valve replacement that was almost $700.00 to do; this price is near almost triple another quotes I received. Even though you spend thousands of dollars on your new furnace and AC their membership discount is BS and not worth paying after your free one expires (which used to be the lifetime of the loan and is now only one year). I Would only recommend them for installs of AC's and Furnaces if you cannot pay their extremely high prices out of pocket and are willing to finance though their partners. Coming from someone who works in property preservation, someone will have better luck reaching out to someone more honest with pricing. I understand Covid and inflation has caused many items to go up but being in this business I know they are trying to take as much advantage of it as they can and the work they provide isn't exactly worth the money one spends. Even though their services and employees are great I will only recommend them to people so they can finance a new furnace or AC system, and even then I will let them know the prices are extremely marked up. Paying for services of a professional is one thing, but marking up parts like they do is just poor business practices. Check all equipment prices everywhere else before you decide to use these guys. Dr. Fix it came out about a month or so ago to fix our sewer line and install a new electrical panel. For the sewer line: The turnaround was quick which was appreciated since we couldn't shower, do laundry, or run the dishwasher. When the work was done, we had some follow up issues/questions which were handled promptly though we were a little confused about the follow up for the electrical (but it worked out). After the first big rain, my husband was pretty disappointed about the gravel and wrote a review about it. I've only called upon Doctor Fix it twice, and both times they have had to reschedule. Today I rearranged my entire week, made a few trips to HD to get the right stuff to have for a half day job, and 10 minutes before the window of arrival started, I received another cancellation call. Because the job won't be completed today, I must rearrange my next week to accommodate the unexpected change. I don't think it is realized the orchestration it can take a homeowner, to schedule an appointment that will take several hours and hold up the function of a bathroom in the meantime. Every one is polite and kind and being a member seems like a good deal but seems they need a larger pool of technicians to pull from, an ON CALL list should a scheduled service person not be able to make it.

He was courteous (always put booties on when entering the house), thoughtful (asked about placement of the installation when he noticed we had small children), and communicative (updated me via text on timing and showed up exactly when he said he was going to). Andrei came out to install a new water filter. (Andrei has been here a few weeks earlier for another issue.) In the process he pointed out some potential problems that he could help to improve. He did everything he was asked. When he was done and the new unit was plugged into an electrical outlet we discovered there was an electrical issue such that the water filter would not work. He called his office and had a plumber come out within about an hour. The plumber, Brian, arrived and put in an additional electrical outlet AT NO CHARGE! Both Andrei and Brian do excellent work. Edit: 03/03/2021....The electrical service manager, Luke came to our home, in person to discuss our issues. We explained why were unhappy and he fixed our pricing to a more reasonable amount we were all happy with. We were more than happy with the outcome We had a technician come to our home for an electrical issue. He told us it was going to be over $4,000 for repair 6 outlets that were not getting power and to rewire our hot water heater that was "absolutely necessary". Even after being pressured, we declined the hot water heater service. Our new total was going to be over $2000 to replace 6 outlets ( that we could have purchased from Home Depot and done ourselves) and to fix a lose wire. The technician ended up taking off a few hundred after we expressed that we thought it was too much. So after about an hour of work, just the replacement of a few outlets and a lose wire, we were cheated and manipulated out of $1700. Called another company and was told the same service would be about $375

Doctor Fix-it installed a new high efficiency furnace, whole house air filter and a humidifier in our house last week. The technician was friendly, courteous and professional. They arrived on time, completed the job quickly and spent time showing me how to use it. The work looks very professional much better than the way the old furnace was done and the building inspector had no negative comments at all. Paul who came to give me a quote, was very helpful. He answered my questions completely, he took several calls with questions from me over the next two weeks as I got quotes from other companies, he arranged to get rebates from the manufacturer and my power company. Every interaction I had with Doctor Fix-It was a positive one, from scheduling on the phone to the technicians who came out to my home, and it just made the whole task of gathering quotes that much more pleasant. Even when there was a snafu with my phone number somehow ending up completely different in their system (not even transposed numbers, just an entirely different number), so that they couldn't reach me on the day of the appointment, they were quick to troubleshoot and confirm my number, apologize, and reschedule. I never felt like I was bothering any of the three schedulers I spoke with on 3 separate calls. When the technicians came to my home to give the free estimate, I was really pleased with their professionalism and the time they took to check out all aspects of doing an AC install. I also appreciated that they wore shoe covers to protect the floors even when just giving a quote (and even though my floors are nothing special!). When they assessed my HVAC needs and indicated not only what they could do, but also what they wouldn't do, I appreciated their integrity and that I wasn't being pressured into making a sale. It did turn out that the offer on the Money Mailer coupon wasn't available with my particular mobile home furnace, and again, the technician apologized for that and did give a bundled discount on his quote for a furnace and AC install. While the quote was beyond what we've budgeted for, I still appreciated getting the estimate and learning a bit more in the process about getting AC in my home. If I could offer one suggestion, it would be to have schedulers answer the phone by identifying the company instead of with just "Hello." The first time I called, I wasn't sure if I had the right number when the phone was answered with only "Hello." But other than that, I was impressed with the friendliness of schedulers and the professionalism of the technicians who came out. Even though we didn't choose Dr. Fix-It due to budgetary constraints, I felt the service that they offered in coming out to give an estimate was top notch.

I recently had a major issue with a strange, pungent order throughout my home, I couldn’t detect its source. I had three different alleged “professionals” evaluate the situation. After previous issues with various inconsiderate workers coming to my home through the years, I truly appreciated Robert’s respect for my property. He was immediately busy with the task of the job. He worked consistently until completed and did it with a smile. He did an impeccable job! His attention to detail and perfection was awesome. When he was done he cleaned up and left the work area cleaner than when he arrived. I found it refreshing both men expressed loving their jobs, their co-workers and working for Dr.Fix-It. That type of loyalty is almost unheard of these days. Both Eric and Robert deserve recognition for a job well done! We decided to replace our old water heater. I called Dr. Fix it after seeing excellent reviews for them online. They were able to schedule a tech the next day to take a look and provide an estimate. Chris V. arrived in the scheduled window and was very polite and helpful (he likes dogs too, bonus!) He is a master plumber, and he installed the new unit himself. I'm so pleased with the work he did. I would recommend Dr. Fix it to anyone with plumbing needs. I will say that the cost was a few hundred dollars higher than another estimate I received (sight unseen and with a lower quality heater unit), but the difference is well worth the piece of mind I get knowing I have received quality products and services. Also, I'd like to note that I am doing this review in private after he left, which I only mention because I was once forced into doing a review (different plumbing company) and the service tech was looking over my shoulder. Our heating was barely working on one of the coldest days of the year. The technician, Marco, was nice, took his time and willing to answer all of my husbands questions. He was honest about the situation with our furnace and we never felt pressured to do any services we didn't feel comfortable with.

Matt was the HVAC tech. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and very helpful. He was very quick and found an issue with a blocked vent that was blocking warm air flow into the basement. While serving the heater, he replaced the furnace filter also. I was very satisfied with the level of service and price. I’ll call them again when needed!

Once again Dr. Fix-It comes through in stellar fashion. After I had called them I began wondering if they were the ones that on my last problem wanted nearly 2k to "clean" the furnace before they could even tell me what was needed for the repair. Shane was my technician this time and when he showed up, had already accessed my records. When he reviewed the record with me I quickly realized they were the ones that traced the problem to a two dollar wall switch I was able to replace myself. Shane was just as courteous and professional as my tech on the prior visit. Our furnace had quit work. Shane was out in just over an hour after the call. He quickly told me what was needed to get it running again and then showed me the additional items of concern. Never did he say I "needed a new furnace." He presented that as an option to weigh against the cost of repairs for a 15 year old furnace. He got the furnace going again, gave me a list of his recommendations and set a time for someone to come discuss the need for a new furnace. I will definitely Use them again.

We had some issues with the service tech about the cost and the cancellation of the job we wanted him to fix. We talked to the Client Manager and we did not agree to pay the asking service fee (higher than we thought) since the service was not fully performed as requested. Then the Executive GM called us. We talk about the story, the issues as well as the pro and con of the service. He understood the issue and wanted to make things right by waving the fee. I write this review because Doctor Fix-It management handled problem correctly from top level and I give them Kudos for reaching out to customers. To avoid any possible issue, make sure when you make an appointment, have them write down the note of the system you have and ask them to send the right person to do the job. When the tech shows up, make sure that he understands and can fix the problem before he does his work.

Doctor Fix-It sent out a team of newer Technicians both named Michael a few days ago for a furnace tune-up at my residence. PROS: The technicians were very thorough in testing to determine if the furnace was drawing power and igniting correctly. I was glad to hear all was well there. They advised my furnace was fundamentally in good shape and ready for winter. They also offered some good upgrade suggestions, such as adding stronger housing for the burners as well as adding an air purifier. The team provided an estimate for the air purifier. CONS: The technicians seemed a bit in a hurry. They were rough at times handling the components to the furnace, most notably the wiring. There are check-off items I have had covered in prior tune-ups that were not taken care of here such as gas and carbon monoxide testing, and examining and cleaning the flame sensor. I asked about the gas testing and was told everything was OK as they didn't smell gas. I got the impression the team's interest in doing an overall thorough job decreased when I didn't indicate immediate interest in signing up for the upsell items. Overall, the service was minimally satisfactory. I would not say I was 100% satisfied.

I had a kitchen outlet begin to burn and melt, and I could feel warmth in the wall behind it. I called Doctor Fix-It. They responded very quickly - and arrived within 2 hours of my call! And from what I can tell, did a good job. The Electrician was very friendly and professional. He did what he could to educate me on the situation, and make recommendations (much appreciated) on what I should do to make my home safer. The only reason they got 4 stars instead of 5 was because they were pretty pricey. He told me he had to replace 2 outlets instead of just the one that burned because they were so close to each other (about 5 feet apart), and unless he did this they could not warranty the work. So of course I agreed to this. I was not charged a service call fee because I had them do the work. But they charged me $378 to have these 2 outlets replaced. Now.... on the same day I had the same company show up to just do a preventative maintenance on both of my heaters. The technician was late - but the office called me to let me know he was being held up longer then expected by his previous job - and it was no big deal to me. But I certainly appreciated the call to let me know. He showed up, was very friendly and professional. He did a tune-up on both of my furnaces. I felt this price was quite reasonable! $49 for each furnace. I would highly recommend them for this service, and will definitely be using them again. I had never used this company before - but received an advertisement in the mail and decided to give them a try.

We had some additional plumbing needs and he greatly improved upon other companies recommendations and the cost was less. His workmanship was truly superb. This is what I value: A smart and honest plumber who is a true craftsman! Well when we needed a furnace Dr Fix-It was our first choice but we also wanted some comparisons of course. We interviewed 3 companies (we interviewed 5 companies when we did the water heater). All of them were very good but Dr Fix-It was more thorough in their analysis and better educators on furnaces. I called Dr. Fix It on a snowy morning with a leaky water heater. I had just recently moved into an older home that needed much done. Adam arrived we talked about all of the work I wanted done as well as the water heater replacement. The next day it was Dr. Fix It to the rescue. We saw water coming through our basement floor late in the afternoon and after seeing great feedback from a local word of mouth page, our first call was to doctor fix it. The technician came out the next business day and quickly discovered the problem (a busted kitchen drain line under our basement slab). We worked with homeowners to file a claim and within a day of it being approved, they had a crew out there to rip up the basement floor, replace the broken pipe and re-concrete the section of slab that was ripped up. Everybody from the initial technician who diagnosed the problem to the 2 guys that came out to complete the work were very professional, respectful and did everything necessary to contain and discard all of the waste from the job. After having worked on my furnace, and replacing a control panel, and a ignitor, as well as the thermostat, I was at my wits end trying to figure out why my furnace wouldn't come on, so I called Doctor Fix-It, and was completely blown away at the professionalism that technician David Cabral displayed while he was inspecting my furnace, it didn't take him 15 seconds after he removed the door on my furnace, to figure out that I had the thermostat wires attached to the control panel, plugged into the wrong terminals, he proceeded to inspect every other aspect of my furnace, adjusted the gas pressure on the gas valve, checked the heat exchanger, filter, voltages, and everything else that could possibly go wrong. I absolutely would not hesitate to call Doctor Fix-it, and request for David to come to my home to diagnose and fix any problem that I encounter in the future with my furnace. Doctor Fix-it has earned my confidence, and I'm not the easiest person to satisfy when it comes to having other people inspect my appliances. I believe the price was fair that he charged to come to my house, and was more than happy to pay it. All in all, the experience that I had with Doctor Fix-it, from start to finish, was beyond my expectations, and would highly recommend giving them a call, if you encounter any problems with your furnace.

Jose arrived to perform service and inspection on our furnace. We had just closed in the property and were aware that the furnace would need some work. He THOROUGHLY inspected the equipment. Turns out we were very close to a catastrophic failure of the equipment. Throughout the entire process, he used laimens terms to ensure we fully understood our options. At no point did we feel pressured to purchase a new furnace from Dr Fix It. That being said, we ended up purchasing a full HVAC system from them. The guarantees, warranties, and services included were very competitive. We expected there to be a lead time on delivery and install if the new equipment. We purchased the furnace at 12:45...the install was completed by 8pm THE SAME DAY. We have used Dr. Fix-it for a few years. The company replaced our Furnace on short notice in the middle of Winter, and has done other work. Recently we noticed we didn't have hot water. As we have a water heating solar system requiring a mixing valve to keep it from being too hot, I thought it was that. When I went to check I found water on the floor, coming from the tank. I called before 8:00 A.M. and by noon the water heater was replaced. All was great, EXCEPT: during this pandemic we have made a great effort to keep our distance and wear masks when around other people. Our water heater started to leak and flood our basement. We had called 10 companies to try and get them out here immediately because not only was our water heater out the valve to cut the flow of water to it was damaged. So no water was getting to the entire house. I have used this company several times...1) new HVAC system 2) system maintenance (AC and furnace) and 3) vent cleaning. I appreciate the professionals who have been in my home for all services. Most recently I had Alex, Rodrigo and Raphael clean my vents. They did a stellar job as they were here for hours. I had numerous questions which they answered politely and added any needed follow through. The prices are competitive as the work is done properly. As with the install all work done to code with applied permits etc., The air conditioning seasonal tuneup revealed a thermostat problem which led to a new install. The furnace cleaning allowed me to purchase my own filter for install as well as have my hot water drained. All appointments were on time and I always appreciate the pre appointment call that they are on the way with an approximate arrival time. The membership offering is a nice reminder to maintain my equipment..

My water heater sprung a leak while I was in a virtual meeting! Luckily I was working from home and heard it before it caused any structural damage! The Dr FixIt team had installed our Heating/AC unit as well so I called them up to see if they could respond to my “emergent” situation! Not only did they arrive in about an hour, but they had me up and running with an AWESOME Infinity tankless system by the end of the day! These guys were so awesome...fast, respectful, professional, knowledgable, responsive...you name it! This will not be the last time I call them! My endless hot water shower was also amazing (in case you were wondering).

Zack was absolutely phenomenal!!! He did all the plumbing work for the new hot water heater install and explained everything to me in terms I could understand! He answered every question I had and fixed every problem he came across...and there were many! He installed a new water pressure regulator valve for me and brought that water pressure down to the proper pressure...it was 110 and causing leaks with my outside water spigot, then replaced the spigot, as the pressure had blown it out! I absolutely recommend this company for any repair or install you need done in their realm of expertise!

I am totally satisfied with the service I received from Steve P. He was very professional, courteous, and just a joy to work with to get my plumbing problems fixed. I had never had a plumber in my house and he inspected all of the plumbing in my house. He then gave me a very clear and understandable estimate of the work that needed to be done. He listened well and answered all of the questions that I had. Then he started fixing the items I wanted fixed and ended up staying for 9 hours to get the work done. I admire this kind of service. Steve is a wonderful person with a great sense of humor, good customer skills, great plumbing skills, and a wonderful work ethic. Thanks Steve I also had Scott K come and clean a number of drains during this plumbing session. Scott K was professional and dedicated to getting the work done. Noah N. with Dr Fix It in the Denver area is as friendly and professional as they come. He is no nonsense and did not try to overcharge/upcharge or take any advantage as many plumbing companies do.
