I use Franklin for all my heating and cooling needs. Their twice yearly preventative maintenance keeps our system working efficiently and gives me considerable peace of mind. When our AC recently developed a leak, they responded promptly and determined that a new air conditioning unit was the most cost effective solution. I had them replace the furnace also since both units were reasonably old. All members of the team were great. Thank you to everyone at Franklin.

Jim, Furnace Engineer, explained and confirmed that our furnace is not producing any carbon monoxide. He thoroughly checked our furnace and heating vents using a gauge tool (top of line equipment) confirming carbon monoxide is not present when running our furnace. I had 3 other local companies come out before deciding, and Franklin H&C was the best for my money. Also I can't say enough positive things about the crew. Donny and Justin showed up, on time and ready to work. They were polite, respectful, and hard-working. I didn't see them take any breaks except for lunch! The work they did was phenomenal and I am so happy with my new furnace, central A/C and duct-work. okay so these guys are amazing, so the story is that I first called accurate heating & cooling to get a quote about my Cambridge heater. They quoted me 2500$ just to fix a flap that came apart in the heater so I decided to give these guys a call. They are completely honest, won't over sell you, provide very competitive pricing (thousands below my first estimate for a better named brand system), everything throughout the process was smooth and as promised and installation crew (Bobby & Devon) were well trained, polite, professional and patient. They weren't in a hurry to get out of there, they were more concerned about making sure we understood everything about our new system and we're happy to teach or answer any questions we needed. Dan provided the quote and was very knowledgeable and answered my husband's calls when he had questions after work hours. Shaine and Raphael did a great job on the install. They worked very efficiently and fast. They cleaned up as they worked. The job was a two day job but they didnt leave the area messed up knowing they were coming back the next morning. They neatly positioned all the old furnace pieces so we could still move around in the basement if needed. I highly recommend this company and ask for Shaine and Raphael too for the install!

Their prices were very competitive and the installation of our new furnace was one of the great experiences of our house maintenance history. The installers (Mitch W. and Shane H.) arrived on time and were very polite and professional. We replaced a 35-year-old 60% efficiency Trane with a variable speed 80% efficient Trane. They used my existing thermostat and humidifier. The install looks good and works great. We are very pleased.

Once again, excellent service from the Franklin Heating and Refrigeration team! Shaine and Anthony came out to install a propane gas pipe for my new gas range. They also did the propane conversion kit for the range and the installation itself. It was a bit tricky, as I had a vintage 1971 electric range that had to be disconnected, and the new one connected with the gas. All went smoothly, and Shaine and Anthony did an excellent job. This was the second time Shaine was out leading the team. Earlier this year I had a major HVAC overhaul - conversion from fuel oil boiler to propane gas Trane furnace, plus new Trane AC, and Rinnai Tankless Water Heater. MAJOR work. All excellently executed by the various Franklin team members. Always confident 100% when Shaine is in charge. All of the Franklin team members are polite, professional and competent. They are also customer-friendly but focused on the work. Thank you today, Shaine and Anthony, for your excellent service and installation, and thank you to all the other Franklin team members - Bob, Joy, Jessica, Kris, Chris, Morris, Bobby and everyone for excellent service on all the projects.

Furnace stopped working at around 11:45 pm on 3/2/17. I went online and sent a message to Franklin Heating and Refrigeration requesting service anytime after 7:30 am on 3/3/17. They called me at 7:25 am to inform me that they were sending out a technician. Technician arrived at 8:00 am. By 8:45 am, furnace was fixed and technician left. Now this is how you run a business! I was so impressed with their service that I purchased a service contract with them to handle my yearly preventive maintenance. I would not hesitate to recommend them. He was also kind enough to show us all of our duct work and demonstrate how we could divert the heat/AC into different areas of the house (we are not from the midwest, so this was a new concept for us). He didn't try and sell us anything, just gave us options for the future, and where he thought we could improve the system, and what not to waste our money on. Appreciated! They installed a unit in the attic area and one in the basement so not to cut up my house for duct work. I can't describe how amazing the whole thing is!! The workers were so polite and professional. Our first call to Franklin set their service ahead of others. We received personal visit from Mr Rizer the same day to provide a HVAC estimate. We knew we wanted to replace the 22 yo system in the home we recently purchased and were on borrowed time with the existing unit. Mr.Rizer took the time to explain our options to obtain the energy efficiency we desired. Providing us with several options and doing further research with Trane to ensure the programmable thermostat would work to maintain the energy efficiency. On installation day the team arrived and carefully protected the areas they would be using. They explained the process and were extremely professional while in our home. Although the installation took 2 days we appreciated the attention to detail when routing the venting through the exterior wall, taking care to allow us space for future projects. The Trane system is so quiet and our home feels comfortable. The increased airflow makes the second floor of our home much more comfortable. Additionally several months after our installation I had to inquire about a rebate. Mr. Rizer remembered a very unique telephone conversation from shortly after our installation and was able to help resolve the missing rebate issue with the utility company (not a Franklin Heating or Trane rebate). Saving me the added frustration of resubmitting the documentation. I highly recommend Franklin Heating and Cooling they are a team of dedicated professionals that will treat you fairly and respectfully.
