I can only not comment on value since my landlord hired & paid, but I can happily attest to how wonderful Patrick T. was as well as the service he provided! Pat was extremely polite, he worked efficiently but also took the time to answer and explain any question I asked. He even tweaked 1 or 2 things in my bathroom (loose light switch cover, lightbulb changes) without being asked while installing the ceiling-ventilation-fan-thing (whatever it’s called). Best and most surprisingly of all, he actually CLEANED up the entire area he worked in SO well! Possibly/probably left it cleaner than how he found it! I honestly have never seen a serviceman or company ever clean up so well after installing something into a house. 10/10 would hire again, including in the future without my landlord choosing the company. We used them for Home Electrical Services. They gave us a quote and completed the Electrical needed for the installation of our home hot tub. The first refreshing experience was that they were referred by the pool spa company which gave us some comfort. We are retired military and with their competitive quote, they also gave a military discount. Due to the holiday, our installation time and date was confirmed the Friday before the Tuesday installation. They called the morning of, when en route and gave an ETA. Both installers, Marcus and Thomas worked extremely well together and did an outstanding, very neat, clean installation. We highly recommend this company and will utilize them again! Had an issue with our well. Tech came out and discovered a switch had gone bad on the well pressure tank. The switch was easily assessible. We were charged a service call fee of $150, which I was OK with, but then they charged us $350 to replace a switch. Well need less to say I was on the hook for the service charge, but $350 to replace a switch is absolute highway robbery. Then for a little more spit in the eye, the switch didn't fix the issue, and we then had to hire a real well specialist. When I told him how much we were gouged for the pressure tank switch he said" HOW MUCH" SURPRISE, we then found out that it should have been no more than about $200-250. Professionalism is great, but there is nothing worse than being gouged, especially when you've been without water for several days, and unable to shower, wash clothes or dishes. Case closed, on to another company in the future.

Last night, they were out there until after 9:30 to get the drain line connected so that we could use our bathrooms. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs plumbing help. Our house was most likely built in the early 2000’s. We moved into our house in 2017. A burst pipe due to freezing in my attic in December 2022 made me question the integrity of the CPVC plumbing in my 20+ year old house, so I decided to contact several plumbing companies about repiping my entire house with PEX. After getting several quotes, I decided to go with Carolina Conditions of Lexington SC. Brian Keller (senior project manager) came out to discuss my desires and offer advice about various repipe solutions. My main goals were peace of mind and addressing water pressure problems that existed when I moved into my house. When multiple water consuming fixtures were running at the same time, the flow was significantly decreased. I decided on the whole house repipe with PEX down to each fixture. The repipe team of Blake, Romello, Jonathan, and James started on Monday, January 31, 2022 and they gave me daily updates on what had been done and what was left to do. Brian Keller had already talked to them about the work that needed to be done. The repipe took 3 days, but they made sure we had water available each night with at least one functioning bathroom. After the repipe in the house had been completed, Gabe (the plumbing service manager) came out for an inspection and determined the water pressure problem had not been sufficiently addressed, so both Brian and Gabe started looking outside the house for possible reasons for low pressure. After digging down the to the water main coming into my house, they discovered a failing pressure relief valve and a bent copper pipe (which apparently existed when the house was built). After making the necessary repairs, they were able to completely solve the water pressure problems. Now, I can run the washer, shower and kitchen sink at the same time without loss of pressure. Brian even went out of this way to correct a problem with how a shower valve had been installed incorrectly, In summary, I would highly recommend Carolina Conditions for their professionalism and persistence in addressing my plumbing problems. I could not be happier!

I called this company for an annual service to my electric fireplace. They were on-time, and did an excellent job. I ended up asking if they could repair a ceiling fan/light combo that stopped working when a child pulled the chain excessively. The ceiling fan part still worked, but the light did not. This guy was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and honest. He gave me options for the light, and I was happy at the results. I do need a follow-up on something Killian was unable to resolve: the small bathroom sink didn't clear. We tried chemicals, and I've used drain product for months now (sheesh!). It was suggested to use a shop vac, but no joy there, either. I intend to schedule a return visit, in hopes of success...

Brandon Jordon from Carolina Conditions sold us a much needed new gas pack and they were quick in getting it installed. Several days later a supervisor came to do an inspection, and ended up sending a crew back out to correct a few things with which he was not satisfied. We also used Carolina Conditions to replace a clothes dryer receptacle that had overheated and melted the wires together. The electrician was Mike and he could not have been more professional or efficient. He ended up having to go under the house because the wires were not long enough to replace directly behind the dryer. He did a great job for a reasonable price. I will continue to call Carolina Conditions for our heating/air AND electrical needs. They are a top-notch, professional company.

After arriving promptly after he called, then he assessed the situation and promptly determined the probable cause of the water leak, which was an unsealed boot coming out of the roof. He took pics and said he would send me a written report along with the photos so I could explain to my property managers the cause of the problem. In short, the original impression and experience was very pleasant and low stress. There is a fee which covers the thirty minute visit, but he stayed longer than that, and explained everything real well in layman's terms. I would recommend Jarred for your plumbing projects.

I thought that I couldn't afford an AC unit but Carolina conditions offers great financing options. Brian inspected my HVAC system because of a strange smell today and he was professional, patient and informative. However, in the past it has been a bumpy road with Carolina Conditions throughout their various departments. They have always made things right with me in the end, but it has taken alot of effort. I purchased a plumbing maintanence plan and when the plumber showed up to do the work he argued with me about the agreed upon price and refused to do part of the service until we called the office. Apparently the employee who sold me the plan quoted me an incorrect price, but in the end they honored it. Another plumber lied and told me that I had knob and tube wiring in my crawl space. They sent their electrician to inspect it for free, but they should not make claims like that. Meanwhile the electrician found other things that he thinks should be repaired . . . So it felt like they were just drumming up business for themselves. After a dryer vent technician cleaned the inside of my clothes dryer it started rattling in a scary way. I had them do duct cleaning, and a few weeks later another HVAC technician came to out for another reason and told me my ducting was in terrible shape and needed to be completely replaced.

I called the company yesterday and they had someone out today, which was fast. The only thing I did not like is that services are pre-set with prices and to change anything, he had to step outside and discuss pricing with his boss. I even told Jason that I felt like I was buying a car with the sales associate having to check with the manager and leaving you in the office alone. It felt just like that. I was very happy with Jason’s work however. I think the company should set prices based on the time of labor to complete a job. While the person they sent out has been exceptionally nice once he gets there, it has been incredibly difficult to actually get him to my residence. They have no concern for your time. I appreciate the folks in the office trying to make things right and have been apologetic, but apologies don't make the work actually happen any faster. When I set an appointment, I expect that my time will be honored, just as I honored theirs and allowed them to reschedule the job once because they had an "emergency" that they needed to take care ahead of my job. I'm not an unreasonable guy, but this has been the single most frustrating thing I've had to deal with coming from a company like this. Edited to add- I changed from a 1 star to a 4 star for one simple reason. Carl- the manager for the department that was working did everything in his power to make things right. His customer service was over-the-top awesome. They took my concerns seriously, listened to me when I had an issue, and took appropriate steps to correct the issue. I woke this morning to hovering between 58-60 degree temps inside the house. After contacting the company, they arranged for Jeffrey to come out this morning which was a relief because I feared being on a mile long waitlist. Jeffrey was professional, listened to my concerns, and promptly addressed the biggest issues. After about 30 minutes, the outdoor pipes to the unit began thawing and the indoor temperature began rising which was a huge relief! The electricity in one of my walls went out a little over a month ago and after trying, but unsuccessfully, to make an appointment with another business, being told I would receive a call back after numerous attempts to schedule something, I finally called Carolina Conditions on a Thursday, spoke with Allison and got an appointment for the following Saturday. Marcus called beforehand to let me know he was on the way, arrived early, figured out the problem, and had it fixed within thirty minutes. I even asked him for a quote about additional work and received a follow up email within a timely manner too. I definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future!

GC’ing my own build on my land for the first time was grueling, especially among Covid/supply chain issues, etc. It is tough finding people who show up at the right time, right place and bring the proper equipment, among other things. While the email/text communication was lack luster from my point of view, phone calls were answered promptly for the most part, and they completed the entire build’s worth of electrical work in two days. I specifically want to let Tim F. know his knowledge helped me through the process since this is my first time doing something like this. Patrick handled everything as the on-site go to person when Tim had to go handle other things. He was kind, patient and knowledgeable, he handled two unusual circumstances that popped up with ease. He is definitely a credit to the organization, I know I will pass county inspection tomorrow and when I do, I will be asking for him specifically on future jobs/builds.

Carolina Conditions did a great job with my A/C unit, which was installed a little less than a year ago. Installation took just a couple of hours, and their work was clean and professional. They proactively scheduled routine maintenance before the added burden of the summer months, and the technician communicated well. He came just a bit before the scheduled time, but only after calling first to make sure it was okay. I highly recommend their services. Edit: I'd like to note that after the service, I was provided with an invoice that included detailed descriptions of every step performed, photographs of the components that were checked and cleaned, and notes on the manufacturer's specifications. I have enough information from this maintenance that I could probably perform preventive maintenance myself...but I think I'll continue to leave it to the professionals.

I contacted Carolina Conditions on Monday, June 13th because I was getting an error code on my dryer that notified me that there was a blockage in the dryer vent. Carolina Conditions got me scheduled for the next day...YAY Quon, was my technician. He arrived on time and was very professional. He asked me several questions about my dilemma and he began is mission to fix the problem. Well, the problem was, there was a bird's nest in my dryer vent! OMG! In addition to quite a bit of dryer lint too. The dryer vent was on the third floor and Quon got up on that ladder as if he was Superman and got that bird nest and all of that lint out of that dryer vent. Quon, completed his mission and cleaned up all of the aftermath. Quon showed me before and after pictures and the difference was remarkable. The company scheduled our install quickly and he came on time, wore shoe covers to protect our floors, was very professional, and everything works great. I ordered the fan online and the remote that goes with it doesn’t have the reverse feature that I wanted so I need to have another fan installed and Tim even said they would come back out and install the next one when I get it with no service fee, only labor costs. We used Columbia Electric Service to have POE cameras and flood lights installed before they merged with Carolina Conditions and were happy then too.

This was serviced by Carl Johnson and he did an excellent job. He arrived at the expected time, and wore protective gear whenever going in or out of the house. Service was professional and competent. I am always satisfied with Carolina Conditions. Jeremy Scott performed our needed electrical service today--getting better lighting into our dining room. He made a good first impression and lived up to it through his time with us. He diagnosed our need and worked with us to find the right solution. We are very pleased with the result and will certainly call on Carolina Conditions to help us with any future electrical need. Trey performed regular maintenance on HVAC units. A new part needed to be installed. Care was taken whenever entering the house. Very satisfied with service. Company is highly recommended.

Let me start with Allison who answered my call for assistance with a leaking AC unit. Allison was amazing friendly and helpful. They were booked all day so I was advised it would have to be after 5 p.m. About ten minutes after I hung up with her, she contacted me to advise me that they had a cancellation and that she could fit me in. Since I was a few days away from my biannual service, she made them coincide so that I did not have to pay extra to fix my AC unit. That was amazing, so thank you! Mike and his crew inspected it and determined it was simply a wattage overload so we changed out lightbulbs and that fixed it. It saved me the expense of putting in a new fan! I was faced with an expensive repair or replacement, and I chose the latter. James diagnosed the problem, Daniel presented me with different options for replacement of a split system, and the install crew consisted of Kevin, Gary, Terrell and Steven. I can honestly say every one of them was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous, as were Charlotte and Carly in the office. The cleanup was great also. My experience with Carolina Conditions was excellent. Courtney was the service tech today, and he was the most polite, outgoing, personable workman ever. You can tell immediately that he loves his job. He was here to do a yearly service call and simply clean out the dryer vents, but he did much more. He crawled under the house to analyze why the dryer vent cover wasn't blowing outward and found that the duct work had fallen on the ground and was completely unconnected. He braced up the ducts and added an elbow that should have been put there when the system was installed. He worked steadily for over two hours and did it all without a single complaint. To top it off, the company charged only the amount of a service call because they guarantee their work, and it was questionable whether last year's was done correctly.. When he parked he placed a cone at the back of his service van, which I thought was a very good and proper thing to do. I called this company a few weeks ago because they offer free estimates for work. So I'm interesting in some home upgrades this spring season and considering this company because they do all heating, cooling, and plumbing work. Seth came out to fix the issue we had of only water droplets coming out of our spigot. We couldn’t figure out what was going on when all the pipes were connected. He suggested replacing a part of the piping as it was most likely clogged from the flexible pipe that was replaced by the previous owner. He also suggested replacing the spigot with one that would be more beneficial with a shut off valve for the winter. It was also very lose too and needed to be fixed as well. After learning more about that we decided to have both spigots replaced with the valves. He made sure the loose one wouldn’t move anymore, replaced the piping, and put in new spigots. Not only did he resolve the one that was clogged but went well above and beyond. I mentioned I was going to start a job next week and instead of having to wait he squeezed me in before the week ended to fix our issue. He was fantastic, professional, on time, explained everything, courteous, and did a phenomenal job!!!! I highly recommend him and the company!!
