I scheduled them to come out on Tuesday and they happen to be out in my neighborhood for another home so they came right after that appointment, the sales guy John was very professional. I would have prefer to have gotten a little more detail on the install of the water heater other than just give me a roundabout price 3,079 but I went ahead and approves the order, I canceled it later because I determine the price was just too high. This was a Lowe's recommended installer which I think they would have done a good job but they need to work on their pricing to me a more affordable with what plumber with charge. I know they have to pay their employees and it's the business name you're paying for too but to stay in business you need have competitive pricing. They did offer me a alternative price of $2,700 which was still double what I could get it done for so I just decided to decline. Although John was disappointed he was still professional so I may decide to use them in the future for other needs

I have used this company both for installation of new HVAC units and follow up maintenance and repairs. In my opinion they are professional in installing, routine inspections and repairs. The technicians are courteous and will answer any questions I ever had.
I would recommend the service staff and the customer service persons to answer the phones when called. This is a top notch company with professional office and repair technicians. Very pleased with my recent service call.

We contacted this company to replace our gas water heater. A tech came out and told us how much it would be. We paid them the price and they said someone would be here today and it is Friday. The new one was damaged and the tech had to go get another one. He left and came back and finished the job on a Friday evening. Both men that came yesterday and today were very nice and professional. He didn’t even leave a mess like some people do. We will definitely use this company again!

Hello, It has taken me some time to post this. I'm actually posting about an event that happened in December; however, due to an unforeseen family emergency, I did not get to post this until now. I want to thank personally Chris Morrow for an EXCEPTIONAL job that he did when coming to my home to replace a thermostat. This a very long story but I will make it as short as possible. Another tech came to my home and not only did not repair the thermostat accurately; but also charged my double for the repair and told me that I could not use my military ID. When Chris arrived to correct the situation; he not only fixed the problem; but advised me that I had been incorrectly charged. In today's society, people will not be honest; but he was. Both Chris and Stephanie made the situation right. Stephanie was kind and understanding and refunded me the portion that I was overcharged. I only have good words to say about this company because since I purchased my units in 2019, they have been extremely responsive. I once again want to applaud these two people, Chris Morrow and Stephanie (sorry I don't know her last name), for not only doing what's right, but for exemplifying what right looks like.

Using ARS to get our HVAC system repaired/replaced was the best decision my partner and I made for our new house! The guys were super honest and thorough, and did a great job of explaining what was wrong and how to fix it. They went above and beyond, making sure to work with our schedules and work with the difficult access to our house. They were super respectful of us and our house, and we’re very happy with the results :)

Booking the service was easy on their website and they were able to work with me when I needed to reschedule and honored their pricing when the service date changed. The technician, Patrick, was very nice and efficient. I had the "tune-up" on this visit. It included a check of the system and a filter change out. I received an email receipt immediately afterwards which gave the working stats for my unit. It didn't list the range in which it should function, which personally I would find helpful for monitoring my new unit. Overall a good experience from booking to service!
What I had anticipated was what's know as a regular "maintenance" visit and is more involved. It would have included cleaning the outdoor unit and flushing the drain, which is what I had assumed was part of a tune-up. It was absolutely my fault for not clarifying. I included this note in my review in case someone else doesn't know.

Our Technician Justin Ward was on time, well groomed and very professional. He explained exactly what this service was about and what he was going go do. After service was completed, he asked if I had any questions with regards to my service. He also complimented our settings on the thermostats, which he stated was very energy efficient. Would recommend ARS and Justin Ward. I am also going to request that Justin be my regular technician going forward.

I’m sure the technician performed some service! However, the report he gave were things that should not happen to a two year old system which they installed! The technician said Freon is needed but couldn’t tell how much! Last time they were here they claimed it was topped off! So I asked if it could be a possible leak? He said maybe? Then I said well it’s been leaking since installed or suspect so and the technician claimed he would take it up with management! I have been calling to speak with someone for close to three weeks now, no one will return my calls! I’ve called the manager twice at her line, no return call yet! That’s been three days now! I’m sure customer service is passing on the messages, the ladies that answers seems sincere! I really was impressed with ARS but this have sour my opinion! Unsatisfactory!!!

ARS Installed my new AC and furnace back in 2017 they did an excellent job and I had a service contract with them since that date. I was always extremely satisfied with their service. That was until this year 2022 they came out at the beginning of the year to perform maintenance per my service agreement contract and did an excellent job. When it came to scheduling the winter service I was highly disappointed. I called and scheduled the appointment for the service and was given a date and a time that they would be out. They call me one hour past the service time that they said they would arrive and told me that they had to cancel due to over scheduling. So we agreed on another date a week later. Once again I stayed home in anticipation for them to show up and perform the service. Once again received a phone call stating that they had to cancel the appointment due to the technician running behind and wanted to reschedule for another date. This would be the third attempt to get my units serviced. I had already missed two days of work waiting on them to arrive. I informed them that I had already missed two days of work waiting for them to come out and perform the service but they just wanted to reschedule. I felt the lack of respect for my time was not felt and therefore canceled my contract. This was something that I was not happy to do but I felt that I had to After being a customer for five years I felt like they did not value me as a customer due to the fact there was no attempt to save my business or respect for my time this is not a review that I thought I would write for ARS due to the fact that I have written one other review highly recommending them due to their professionalism. I don’t know what’s happened with this business and I am sorry that I will no longer be able to utilize them in the future.

My 20 year old HVAC had a good run, but all good things must come to an end… and it did. After getting several estimates, I went with ARS, and I’m glad I did! The guys were so professional and friendly, and kept me apprised of what was going on throughout the installation. The new unit looks fantastic, and they even included one of those fancy smart thermostats! 🤣 Love it, and love the quality service I received!

The service rep, Mr Wheeler is very knowledgeable and professional. As demonstrated by his rapid diagnosis. It was not an all nighter! Only 4 stars for the Admin. I won’t drop her name because of her recovery. However, during our initial interaction she made a good day a bad one. My recommendation to her is to read all the service notes from customers who have been with you for years and new ones. Get the facts before you make contact with the customer!!

Wow! I can’t say enough how impressed I was with my service technician today, Sierra J Odom. She completed a very thorough inspection and cleaning of my HVAC and A/C systems.
She advised me and gave suggestions on how to keep systems running in prime condition between maintenance visits. All things simple a homeowner should be doing. I learned a lot from her and so thankful!
She also provided a video of how she cleaned out a trap in the piping under the house to keep debris out and from keeping water /condensation from pooling under the house.
I highly recommend ARS and I would suggest that you request Sierra J Odom to be your technician!

Jordan came out for what was supposed to be a routine check up of the system. He then noticed a few mistakes were made with the previous installation and then decided to do everything he could to correct the issues himself. He went above and beyond and spent over 2hrs fixing the e issues. He then put in a order for furtire repairs that needed to be made. This man deserves a raise. I only want him to respond to future calls. Somebody get this man a burger!!

ARS had to replace capacitor on AC unit. Had the exact same service performed on another unit last summer (I have two units). Last year it was $249 on the weekend for the larger unit, this time it was $509 for the smaller unit. Same service, double the price!

I used this company ARS the first time and twice.
September 27, 2022, Shadoe and the guy (I don’t know his name. I’m sorry) - They came to check and they explained about what’s wrong with my AC. I understood.
We communicated via the pen and the papers, texts via mobiles, the gestures, email (for the bills/statements only), and submitting the contact.
I was deaf with sign language. Also, I do type and write in English. :)
Oct 12, 2022 - Shadow came to repair and clean my AC and heat. I felt cooling. I was glad to know that worked.
I hope AC and heat continue to work tonight.
The ARS company and the technicians are friendly, helpful and respectful. I’m satisfied with them.

Call ARS initially through Lowes customer service. The Problem could not be fixed. 4 technicians came out and tried various things. Eli, Leonard came twice Michael got it fixed temporarily and it quit working after a couple days. Chandler came and finally was able to identify the problem and got it fixed. Although it has been frustrating few weeks all the technicians were professional and courteous. They provided detailed information of what was going on and what they were doing to try to fix. The ARS customer service rep was very courteous every time I called. When she was not available by phone she did follow up and called back to address my concern. Although I was getting frustrated I tried to maintain patience and they also showed concern to ensure my new unit was working to standard . Thank you for all your assistance.

This is the same company we got for our church, they were on time, courteous, and professional. Their import allowed us to get a unit that will fit our needs for the next 20-25 years.
They cleaned up behind themselves, my wife and I were so impressed we contacted with them to retrofit our home HVAC. The new unit came with a top of the line "Smart" thermostat to save even more year-round.
Had to call for service on the heating side of the new system. Called at 1:30, the woman at the office was courteous asked good questions to make sure she understood our need s. She wanted to make sure the person who was coming had what he needed for the visit.
The representative called to let me know we would be his next call and he was an 1 +1/2 hrs away in travel time, and had about 2hrs left on this job. True to his word he came a few hrs. later. He checked out the system found and repaired the system. Then he stayed to make sure it ran right.
We couldn't be happier with a company... We have referred people to them and will continue to do so. ARS is without a doubt the best of the bunch and a credit to the profession!

First I spoke with the salesman at Home Depot, Paul Dean who told me about the process and benefits of my hvac replacement. He convinced me to listen to a representative who would come and look at my old system and give me a fair evaluation of what needed to be done. Jonathan Neiger came out and went over everything with me. Checked the unit, ductwork, etc and advised what I would need (air & heat) ro re place my old broken system and worked out the details. Explained the financial process and everything worked out. He was very courteous and pleasant and informative, which doesn't seem to happen as often these days. I believe that he's a great asset to your company! Hopefully, the phase will be just as great.

My experience with ARS Rescue Rooter left a lot to be desired. I feel that the technicians are over booked and overworked. My service window was 8am to 12 noon but the tech didn't arrive until 9:15pm. They didn't have adequate supplies to fix my unit. I purchased my unit from ARS but they never serviced it. It took seven days to complete the repair. I asked to be compensated for the inconvenience and was told I would be refunded $150.00 if the $1,000.00 repair bill which was demanded to be paid up front outside at 9:15pm while raining before I could leave for work. After six calls about the refund I have not received any money. The work was 8.5 the customer service was 3 only because they were so nice when they said they would check into my refund. Company replaced our HVAC/ heating system in June. They have been out 4 times since. Technicians are very kind and professional. I have no problem with them. My concern is… is there something wrong with the equipment? Not quite sure where to go from here. Hopefully this will be the last problem we have with this system.

If I was just rating the master technician that came out last night I would give him 5 stars.
Unfortunately, I had to deal with the office staff and the on call switchboard prior to the technician. The experience I've had with office staff, new technicians and the call switchboard operators my rating is 1 ⭐. I just had an issue and had a technician out the end of July. At that time my air conditioning was not working, now 3 months later at the end of October my heat is not working. When I called I was informed they could get someone out last night but I would have to pay a $100 fee for the service call as well as the diagnostic to figure out what was going on with my heat. I became extremely upset because I just purchased this brand new unit from ARS a little over 2 years ago!!! For the amount of money I paid for this unit there's no way I should be having issues less than 2 years and then a little more than two years after it's been installed first of all. Secondly you were just out here 3 months ago and I just had to come out of pocket with a couple of $100 for you to fix the issue with my air. I was told this was because of a bad circuit board or something that had failed due to a power surge possibly. Prior to the circuit board failure my heat and air were working perfectly. Now the first time I turn on the heat cold air is blowing out and instead of the temperature going up it was getting colder in my house.
The switchboard operator told me they warranty their work for only 30 days, but if the part had failed, the part was warrantied for a year, but I would still have to pay for the diagnostic and the service call.
I'm happy to say the senior tech was much more honest then the office staff or switchboard operators. When he came in the first thing he did was check out the part that had been installed, he discovered the new technician had wired it completely wrong. It was not wired for heat at all, the emergency heat would not come on and when you turned on the heat cold air blew out. He rewired the wiring and did not charge me for the service call or the diagnostic because it was not my fault or error but the error of the technician sent to my home. If you are going to deal with ARS, ask for a senior tech.

I contacted ARS to get a second opinion on my AC unit because "Cool Care" told me that my compressor was no longer working, and my best option was to replace the 8 year old unit. ARS sent my service provider, Steven Phillip, to my home to repair my AC unit. He was very professional, and showed expertise in dealing with my unit. Within minutes, he found the true reason for my unit not working. He replaced the capacitor for motor, and my house started cooling immediately, thus saving me thousands of dollars. We had an A/C-Heating unit installed about a month ago and needed to have a Service Technician look at the system as we were getting a vibration from the Air Handler in the attic. Our appointment was scheduled to accommodate our schedule. ARS called ahead and confirmed our appointment and asked if they would be able to show up earlier in the day, which was fine with us. Robert B showed up a few minutes early at the new appointment time. Robert introduced himself and asked how long we had the system and what issues we were experiencing. We explained to Robert the issue we were having and he promptly started his inspection. As we accompanied him to the unit we had a great conversation with him and how well the unit has been working. Robert not only conducted his inspection professionally but down to earth personable. He was thorough with his inspection and review of our system. He answered all of our questions thoroughly and to our satisfaction. Robert went one step further and gave us a hands on review of how best to utilize our new thermostat to get the best efficiency and energy savings possible. I purchased a 4 ton a/c unit from ARS Rescue Rooter. Part of the warranty was they will come out day or night with in 24 hours or they will cut me a check for $555. A call was made on Saturday July 10th, 2021 at 9:39am no one came out untill the afternoon of Monday July 12th, 2021. I have called ARS Rescue Rooter 2 to 3 times a week since then and can not get anyone to call me back to discuss the $555 Check. Every time I call I told they have sent an email up and some will be....
Update: It did almost take a month to talk to someone about this issue however we did get the check. The people I spoke with was nice and rushed it out.

While the techs installing the unit were outstanding, Although, I was told that someone was going to stop by to check their installation. That never happened. I cannot say the same for the salesman. I was informed that I could get a temporary portable AC unit. When I agreed to the use of the lender. I was told that he was going to try his best to get me one the day of his visit and if not the next day. The AC lender never showed up. Then, there was the type of thermostat that was to be install. I asked about the choices and I was informed that I could get the standard thermostat or the 7-8 inches screen (his words). I said that for the money I was paying, I wanted the larger screen. Again, I ended up with the standard thermostat. No one has called to see if I was satisfied or not. It's like once I signed the sales paperwork, I was forgotten. Great customer service guys. Nooooot.

The only grip i have is the website advertised $1,750 off your new unit, but i was told later that it only applies to veterans. Even the lady who set up the appointment promised me $1,750 off. Jason and Andrew from Rescue Rooter of Columbia are the greatest technicians we've ever had the pleasure of working with! While installing a new air conditioning unit in my grandparents home, they found that there was a serious leak under the house that was causing major mold issues. They noticed that my grandfather is on oxygen and was having trouble breathing, they went above and beyond by offering to buy the parts needed and also fix the leak. They didn't have to do that and they don't know how much that meant to our entire family. I would definitely recommend their services to everyone I know. ARS Rescue Rooter installed my Carrier infinity and did a great job. My installers Jason P. & Andrew B. They were polite, friendly and very professional. They came into my home introduce themselves to me and explain to me exactly what they were going to be doing and went over everything with me that I had ordered to make sure that I was getting exactly what I had paid for. Before getting started they laid down tarps on my floors to protected them from damage. They started the job by removing the old unit that was in my home. Once that was done they began installing the new unit. When the installation was complete they went over how to operate the system and answer any questions that I had about the system. They finished the installation on time and after the installation was complete they cleaned up any debris that had been left over, which wasn't very much because they cleaned up as they worked. After they left my home it was as if they were never here . Except for the cold air that I'm enjoying while wrtting this review. This is a very professional company with exceptionally professional employees. I truly cannot say enough about Jason P. and Andrew B. I have had repair people and installers in my home before but never as professional and as polite and as knowledgeable as these two men were. I must also mention the sales representative that helped me select the right unit for my home. Billy Long was very knowledgeable and professional and did not use high pressure sales tactics to make a sale. If you are considering purchasing a heating and air-conditioning system you would definitely be doing your self a diservice if you did not at least give these guys a chance at getting your business.

Chris called to inform us of his arrive time and arrived at that time, ready to go. He set up the thermostat and proceed to outside unit and connected his gauge set and checked it. He removed the air filter element noted that it had some build up and asked did I want to change it. I looked thru it and declined. We checked the UV light and determined it needed to be replaced and was replaced in a professional manner. The cooling fins were cleaned.
And the checkout was completed, he did a quick but complete cleaning of the outside of the unit. I know that did not improve the units performance, but it made me feel a little bit better about the level of the pride of the operator.

I have had problems with ARS Rescue Rooter Columbia for about 6 years. However, when I had AC issues this past time, Jason P., Wes M,. Andrew B., and Mack S. (The Service Mgr) came to my house. They were all VERY professional and kind. They repaired all of the issues INCLUDING re-strapping my duct work (that was done incorrectly to begin with) and cleaning up all the issues in my attic. I called on a friday afternoon, expecting service hopefully by Monday. But they said they could come out that very day!
