If you are looking for a cooling and heating service, you should immediately stop your search and call Bernard at Azrikam. After looking at other providers, I knew right away that Azrikam was going to be my go-to for all cooling and service needs. They are extremely responsive, caring and professional. Bernard came out to my home on a few occasions with very short notice and diagnosed my problem and came out again a few days later to ensure that my family and home were comfortable during some extremely hot days recently . We ended up installing a brand new unit and Bernard and his team were amazing. They paid tremendous attention to detail and went above and beyond to ensure that the installation was done accurately. I couldn't be more thankful and appreciative of the Azrikam team and would highly recommend them without any hesitation. I have now found my cooling and heating partner for life and made a good friend, in Bernard, along the way.

Bernard and team were awesome to work with! He was super responsive and made the whole process a breeze. We were able to get a quote and installation of a new AC unit and furnace all within a couple of days right before some 90 degree weather. Bernard was amazing. I discovered an issue with the venting on my hot water heater. When I called him, he came over immediately to be sure there was no safety issue. Once that was resolved, we scheduled the repair for a day or 2 later. He came when promised, charged a fair price, explained everything he did and why he did it, stayed until he answered all of my questions, and left a workspace cleaner than when he arrived. I can't say enough about their professionalism, service, and responsiveness. So happy to have him on my roster of vendors.

Excellent service, reasonable price, and highly responsive. When our heater went out and I called Bernard, he found the time to come first thing in the morning. He had the spare parts ready and was able to quickly take care of the issue with our furnace. I will definitely be using Azrikam Heating services again.

I must say that it becomes rare - such prompt professional service at reasonable price - and this is what Bernard offers. I had an emergency situation with my furnace unit in the attic and I was dreading that I would not find anybody to go to the attic when It was rather hot. When I called Bernard in the morning he said that he would call me back in 3-4 hours and he did. Everything he promised, he delivered right on time. He also wanted me to see everything he did and he explained everything while he was performing his job. I could tell that he takes pride in his work and just happy to help people. I would hire his company again with no hesitation and I highly recommend Bernard as honest, reliable, very professional and reasonably priced HVAC contractor.

So I called and I was happy they could get someone here the same day. My issue was fixed within couple of hours. Bernard was very professional and detailed. He went above and beyond by stopping by my house when my furnace broke on a Saturday evening because he didn’t want us to be cold or uncomfortable when he could help out. My furnace kept loosing the flame after a few seconds and went online and called Azrikam, i would highly recommend Azrikam to anyone I know in need of HVAC services. This guy is impressive. Forget 5 stars, this guy is worth 10 stars! Heater went out on a cold Sunday. Called three places. He got here in 10 minutes from when I called him changed out the inducer motor in like 5 minutes and charged me a very fair and reasonable price! The other company’s haven’t even called me back yet. Super nice guy! Very professional will never use anyone else! When you call the big companies they are always trying sell you a bunch of stuff that ain’t broke and charge crazy prices. No pun intended but I am blown away by Bernard and Azrikam Heating. Our condo building has been having major heating issues. The preferred vendor for our complex was not being attentive to our needs and I needed to look elsewhere. Finding Bernard was like finding a diamond in the rough. Not only was he immediately responsive, but took pictures to show me the disrepair our heating unit was in. He explained the problem and made sure I understood. It was Friday evening (pre Christmas Eve), sub freezing temperatures @ 9:30p and we noticed that the upstairs thermostat was not holding the temperature. Best experience I’ve had in a while. Called them and they came later that day to check my furnace setup as I was looking to install a humidifier on my furnace. I’m the type that likes to learn and understand what things are doing. These guys were great. My boiler needed the Air bleed from it. When a Hot water boiler gets air in the lines it limits how well the heating system works so if you have a boiler and heat those pipes knocking and making noise you’re not getting the heat you should be. I just met Azrikam this past spring and had planned this fall boiler bleeding way back then. Again being someone that appreciates knowledge I can’t express enough how happy I am to have a HVAC Company I now feel great about knowing and using. I always recommend getting a few quotes for major projects but no matter if it’s big or small I’m gonna call these guys to get that quote and/or opinion. Can’t say enough good things. I am so grateful for finding Bernard ! He came through for us ! At first I went with a big company and paid for a diagnostic and they tried to waaaaaay over charge me to replace my capacitor my gut told me they were over charging me so I called around over 30 companies who refused to quote me to replace the capacitor and wanted to charge a diagnostic then give me a quote I felt hopeless because I didn’t want to run into the Same issue again and waste money on diagnostic fees. After Calling Azrikam I was so relieved he was the only honest person I found!!!! He gave yme an up front price came at the time I asked on time and fixed the issue fast and even cleaned the condenser unit and told me how to do it! Our boiler had a small gas leak due to the lack of adequate cleaning. As a result, Nicor turned off our boiler right before a winter storm. The worst part was that we had another company come out just a month ago to inspect and clean our boiler. Bernhard and team did a great job installing a new system for the second floor of my 100 year old home. It was a complicated job requiring ducts and returns to be installed in an unoccupied attic. Our furnace stopped working during the February 2021 winter freeze. The house was becoming cold fast, and I called Azrikam Heating. Bernard is a wonderful guy. He immediately responded to my phone call and tried to diagnose the issue on a video call. I sent him pictures of the furnace label plate, so he knew which model he was dealing with. He showed up in an hour and got the furnace running temporarily for the night. The very next day he replaced a part with an OEM part and fixed the issue. Bernard is very knowledgeable and his service was very prompt, courteous, and at a reasonable cost.

I live in California and contacted several HVAC companies to help (my mom's regular guy was out of town). Bernard is a honest, sincere, kind, professional etc. 6-years back my furnace went out in late December on Saturday late afternoon. I called Azrikam which was from yellow pages & Bernard responded within half hour, came down, check furnace & ruled out that need new furnace. he made few calls & gave us price which was reasonable. WE gave proceed to Bernard & his guys started removing furnace, he went to get new furnace & replaced by 11PM. Last year AC went out when we had 90+ degree. He came down &detect problem that capacitor needs to be replaced, he did replaced, tested & AC started working with reasonable charge. he comes twice a year to check furnace & AC operations since 6-years.

I don’t really know what to say. I don’t often put reviews of companies but I believe Bernard deserves one. I called Bernard on a Sunday. He picks up, and I explain to him I’m having furnace problems. Instead of saying “Oh, I am busy, can I call you tomorrow?” He legitimately video calls us and tries to fix our problem over the phone without having anyone need to come in. I mean who does that? Not once did he even mention payment or pricing or anything. Although the problem couldn’t be fixed over the phone, Bernard came in the next day and within minutes discovered the issue of our furnace and it was fixed for a good, reasonable cost. The furnace is working well, and there are no problems that we have been encountering. Highly highly highly recommend giving him a call for heating and cooling needs before calling any major companies. You can tell by the interaction with him that he isn’t out to get money or to rip someone off; he is incredibly honest, professional, and very likeable. Bernard is a God send!!! Trying to find someone at least a bit competent to service our old steam boiler was worse than going to the dentist and having your teeth pulled! Do you believe in miracles? You should!! ‘‘Twas a hot day, I had an irritable 3 week old baby at home and my air hadn’t worked for two days. I couldn’t find anyone to come out and with the holiday weekend, my options seemed limited. Bernard was my 4th call and although he wasn’t able to come out, he offered to walk me through the process to fix my air conditioning unit. Who does that?!! The air conditioning unit in our condominium stopped working on Sunday of this past Memorial Day weekend. Since this was a holiday weekend coinciding with the first wave of extreme heat, we were rather pessimistic to find a repairman willing to come and examine the unit within a timely fashion. On Tuesday, we contacted our handyman who provided us with the phone number of a repairman. Not feeling very hopeful, we contacted this person who actually offered to come and inspect the unit on the same day. Unfortunately, the news presented to us was not what we had hoped to hear. The compressor had stopped working and, since this was an older unit, there was no other choice but to replace the air conditioner. While in our presence, the repairman contacted Bernard Azrikam to apprise him of our situation and to check on the possibility of having a new air conditioning unit installed within a reasonable amount of time. Much to our astonishment, Bernard agreed to replace the existing unit on either Wednesday or Thursday of this past week. As we were not familiar with this company, we were initially hesitant to commit to Azrikam's services. However, after reading the many favorable reviews about this company online, we agreed to utilize them and cannot believe our good fortune to have found such a reliable and trustworthy business. Everything that was promised came to fruition and we cannot thank Bernard Azrikam enough for the installation of the new air conditioner this past Wednesday. We are more than happy to provide this business with a five-star rating and would not hesitate to recommend them, without reservation, to anyone who might be in need of their services.

So first, let me just say this. Bernard is the most awesome guy ever!!! I called him to see if he could come to my house to see what is going on with my central unit and why my house was still warm, he told me that he doesn't even service my area, BUT he walked me through everything over the phone. He told me to take pictures, he had me google things, he told me how to clean my OWN unit with the water hose and ALL FREE OF CHARGE! The man is walking miracle because after he did that It worked and he told me and I called a another HVAC company and told them what needed to be done so that they could fully clean it and he told me to call him after they come to see how it works. I got quotes from both Four Seasons and Green Air Care and they were both ridiculously overpriced compared to what I paid to replace my AC and Furnace with Bernard and his team. I never right reviews of service providers because generally i find them to be anything but honest. This is not the case with Azrikam Price is Right. Bernard, who received my call after two disastrous experiences with Four Season and ABC Heating. First ABC came to my house and took apart my Furnace and decided that they couldn't fix the issue without "cutting a hole in the outside of the steel case that was needed to gain access to the valve that would allow them to check the Freon. He left with the whole AC unit hanging out of the frame. Then I called ABC who strung me along like a puppet for 8 hours before they told me that working 24/7 was for other furnaces and that mine needed an expert who would not be available until the following day. I called and gave them the make and model number of my furnace, its age too, 5 years, so they could send the right tech / specialist if that was necessary and or even told me that guy wasn't available until the following day. Nope, even with all that information I waited an entire day and in the end, at 7PM customer service gave me a call with a BS story about the specialist not being available until tomorrow. What??? A whole additional day? I was not happy so I researched the model number and found thru Google Azrikam. 8PM I called hoping to engage with someone who knew what they were talking about and what I found was THE BEST SERVICE COMPANY EVER! Anchored by the most intelligent man in the HVAC business ever, Bernard. He answered my call even with his household filled with a celebrating family. He asked about the HVAC Unit, the age, the condition and if I could send him photos of the model number and unit with the front doors off. I thought that was nuts but did so. A few minutes later Bernard called again and asked what kind of thermostat I had and the last time I changed the batteries. 5 years ago when the unit was installed. OMG! It was the batteries. He then walked my through putting my HVAC back together over the phone. How many stars can i give him? Hundreds. The calls were free, his diagnosis was right on and i go my AC to work again. For that, I am writing him up as the best in his class. Thanks Bernard. You rocked it! Thank you google for finding Azrikam!

If you're looking for a truly knowledgeable air conditioner serviceman, Bernard is the man for the job. As soon as I introduced myself on the phone, I felt like I was talking to a professional who cared not only about his craft, but also to servicing and satisfying the customer. My AC unit stopped working when it was 100 degrees outside very late in the evening a couple of days ago. I called Bernard up by means of a desperate google search, hoping that he could help. We had a problem with our a/c not putting out any cool air. Bernard told us over the phone to clean our permanent filter and he actually dropped everything and told us he would be out 8:00 a.m. the next morning. It was about 5:00 p.m. the prior day we called him. Sure enough he came bright and early the next morning. By that time I had the system cooling somewhat as he was right on in advising us to clean the filter. He then cleaned and checked the entire system, taking the time to explain each thing he was doing and how the system worked. He then adjusted our vents to get the maximum use of the system zeroing in in the upstairs bedrooms which always seemed to be hot. He finished in under two hours, was courteous, competent and the prices were reasonable. He was also quite clean and the house was left in the same condition (except the a/c was repaired) as when he came. They beat the other estimates by 40-60% And the furnace was high quality and is problem free 16 years later. 2nd time, my AC at my son's apartment was not working. Today my furnace stopped working properly, and I new I had to call Azrikam Heating and Cooling. As soon as I called, Bernard answered my phone immediately, even though I called on a Sunday afternoon. I explained to him what I was experiencing with my furnace, and he helped me troubleshoot couple of things over the phone, to better understand what the issue might be. We came to the conclusion that was a bad thermostat and needed replacement in order for my furnace to start working again. My furnace stopped working at 8 pm on a Friday night, the first night that freezing temperatures were called for. I spoke with Bernard, and he was out to the house in a little more than an hour. Bernard Azrikam is an honest and reputable HVAC tradesman which is hard to find these days. I contacted him to provide a quote on a new AC condenser as I was getting multiple bids after one of my 10 year old units went out and another company recommended I replace rather than repair it. I received several quotes and Bernard was the only one to challenge whether I really needed to replace the unit. He examined the condenser and found it was extremely dirty and was not at all surprised it had stopped working. Instead of spending thousands on a replacement, he suggested we give it a good cleaning and refill the coolant. My bill came to $450, ~10% of what other providers were planning to charge. I was speachless. I insisted that they didn't pay because I was already so thankful for what they've done. - l'm a germophobe, so I get nervous and stressed having super or others come by because many people refuse or get annoyed when I ask them to take their shoes off. These guys took their shoes off without me asking, which is a very big deal to me. It's so rare to meet someone so sweet and kind. I was crying internally because they warmed up my heart so much.

My AC wasn't working over Memorial Day Weekend. It was miserable in my apt. Anyone I called wanted $100-$200 just to come out and check it. My parents had used Bernard to install a furnace and AC unit in their house and have been using him for years and they love his work. The Price is Right.......& HONEST! Bernard was outstanding! This HVAC specialist takes pride in his work. In midsummer, my AC went out and rather than treating it like an everyday occurrence, Bernard responded with speed--especially when he learned that I had a young child & wife. He is a family man too, so he cares. Upon arrival, he was able to quickly diagnose the problem and ordered parts right away. However, that's not what impressed me most about Bernard. What I will NEVER forget is that he could have really run up the bill on me but did not. For instance, I had no idea that the warranty on my AC's parts were still viable, but Bernard contacted the company and provided me the parts FREE of CHARGE! When you call them up they try to help you over the phone asking questions and trying to see if there isn't something that you can do yourself by changing the filter or changing batteries on the thermostat. I finally feel confident in my choice of HVAC guy. Bernard is an honest guy who will not charge you more than needs to be charged for taking care of a problem. After having various houses for over 20 years, I've never really been satisfied with HVAC service until working with Bernard. Notable is that last year I tried to get my upstairs humidifier to a finally work after being frustrated with it not working properly for at least 5 years. Last year, I spent a solid month, three separate appointments, and multiple texts with another HVAC company and at the end of of this trouble had a humidifier that was leaking and causing water damage on the floor below, and was still not humidifying the air properly. Bernard fixed this in a couple of minutes, and three weeks later it is still fixed. He also used some creative problem-solving skills and constructed something that literally saved me thousands of dollars where someone else would have said there was no easy fix, and instead I would need to replace a large expensive component. Have you ever wanted to tip your HVAC guy? Yeah, that's right, bake him some yummy treats and drop them off, or pay him EXTRA above what he asked to be paid? Had a housing crises in my 4-flat over Thanksgiving weekend. Chimneygeddin (my wife not so lovingly referred to it) started as a hot water heater that wouldn't ignite on the first floor, escalated to a furnace causing a back draft over the water heater and reached apocalyptic proportions when it was discovered that the interiors of my chimney, supposedly venting the furnace was completely and utterly clogged. I moved my 1st floor tenant into a hotel room and called Eddie (Ohad) from Cleanable Solutions, a chimney sweep based out of Skokie, IL. They did what the could the night before Thanksgiving, then quickly called Bernard from Azrikam The Price Is Right, who came out over the holiday weekend, unclogged the chimney's by knocking through the walls into the stacks on two floors, pulling out mounds of sand, soot, cement, and brick, then somehow, putting it all back together, including the furnace, and hot water heater, to where everything functioned smoothly. I still have some relining to do and tuck pointing that will have to be undertaken in the springtime, but the danger to the buildings tenants has been alleviated. Bernard is the man for most any job available, large or small. Hopefully it won't be quite the crises mine turned out to be, but his work is solid, his demeanor is upbeat, his reputation is sterling. Bernard Azrikam did an excellent job!He is so polite ,so friendly,always trying to help.From the beginning until the end, it was an excellent experience.Bernard was on time,very patient with me,answering very polite to all my questions(and i asked a lot of questions).He was very knowledgeable and explain very well the savings and how the product work.What i really liked ,is that he is always in a good mood,always smiling. I will definitely use him again and i will recommend him to all my friends!
