Mike has again provided superior installation services, the first a few years ago installing the SpacePac heating and A/C equipment for our upper floor and most recently replacing our separate boiler and hot water heater with an integrated "on demand" unit. He and Alexi are talented, congenial and efficient, and readily answered any questions my spouse and I had about the equipment's operations. The same kudo's to Pete who worked with us on the equipment selection and proposal. We have been AVH customers since 1997 when after purchasing our Chicago bungalow decided that the main floor needed a SpacePac A/C unit to complement our separate hot water radiator heating system. Our decision to select AVH was in large part due to the owner's sensitivity to ensuring that the visible portions of the system had a minimal visual presence in the living areas. Gus has been amazing. We own a home built in the 50s that have had close to no renovations. They have been working with us to fix the water heater, waste-line, and toilet. New homeowners of a 100 year old bungalow with a 30 year old boiler system. John F was our educated, friendly, professional, down-to-earth tech who thoroughly inspected our old-but-good-condition boiler. We told him we’re first-time owners of a boiler + radiators & he took extra time to show us the anatomy of the boiler, what to look out for, tips for maintaining parts of it ourselves & was patient answering all sorts of our questions. Inspection took about 2 hours & was a reasonable $144. We plan to use American Vintage & John for any future HVAC needs. Great experience all-around!

We used American vintage for a replacement of our HVAC system. We got several quotes and they worked with us on price to be able to understand the product. They called us a few weeks before our scheduled install to let me know they had an opening and could install sooner if we wanted. They finished in 1.5 days instead of the predicted 3 days. The staff were courteous and responsive. We picked them because of their competitive price but mostly because they gave us more time then other companies. We appreciated that we felt our large financial decision was taken seriously with American vintage and their team. Would recommend!

Roberto and Jorge replaced our 50 year old steam boiler with a new steam boiler. They were professional, extremely competent, and efficient. They finished sooner than expected and tested the new boiler which works much more efficiently than the old one. The demolition crew headed by Enrique also worked quickly and found a way to bring in the new boiler even when it seemed like an impossible task. It was a very well done project and I highly recommend American Vintage Home.

We have been customers for several years and have always been very happy with the service. A few nights ago we came home to a flooded basement and called them outside of business hours. The call center they used told us someone would call us back soon. They called us back in less than 15 minutes and did a video chat to help us turn off all the water to the home and then they had a person at my door in under an hour. The customer service is always amazing and this person they sent was so helpful while my family was still panicked about the damage. They found the leak and repaired the pipe quickly and gave us suggestions for what to do going forward. Fantastic company 12/10 would use again.

John F. Came as promised and was done quicker than we thought. He came to fix a leaking Radiator that we had shut the auto feed off for now, since we are not using heat at the moment, and stopped the leak for now. He noticed that the valve went bad where the knob is located on the lower half of the radiator. This would explain why the nut would come loose on its own and start leaking more rapidly. Also, would explain why the radiator wasn't filling up with water all the way. He replaced it, and turned the auto feed on, to make sure the radiator filled back up, and no recurring leaks. I will definitely call American Vintage home for any older home repairs on Heating systems. Thanks John F. for doing such a great job, and doing it so quickly!

I used American Vintage Home for a complete furnace and AC install and I couldn't be happier. Their quote came in quite a bit less expensive than another competitor that I've used for the past 20 years (and it was an apples-to-apples comparison because both quotes were for the exact same equipment). The installers arrived on-time, were very professional, and worked diligently for many hours on the install. I also appreciated them spending time showing me all the problems with my old unit (i.e. various holes in the ductwork that weren't plugged, flexible ductwork located in a place where it should have been permanent, etc.) and they fixed those issues at no additional cost to me. I could tell that the main person assigned to my job had a great deal of knowledge and many years of experience on HVAC installations and I was confident everything would be done right. After the install was complete, they removed all the garbage and debris, and then spent time showing me everything I needed to know about the system (how to replace the air filter and humidifier insert, how to read the digital codes on the system if I needed service in the future, etc.) It's been a few days since the installation and our home is nice and warm while it's freezing outside. I couldn't be more pleased with AVH and I plan on using them for any future HVAC and plumbing issues.

I found this company around 7 years ago . They do a great job and they inform you of what needs to be done right away or things that can be put off for a while. I enrolled in their maintenance plan which keeps are furnace and air conditioner units running and avoid on coming issues which is a great service. Technicians are on time and friendly.

Bobby at AVH helped us install a whole-home humidifier on our furnace, a humidistat, and new thermostat yesterday. The company was responsive and helpful the entire way, they even adjusted the install strategy to avoid having to shut water off to my condo complex. Not 100% sure if the heating in the rest of my unit is working properly at this point as two rooms are warm and the rest are not cold. American Vintage installed an whole home dehumidifier and replaced our whole home humidifier and air filter housing. Our situation presented a few challenges. Space is limited in our home, especially in the HVAC closet. The way the HVAC system was designed and installed when the home was built (20+years ago) was not optimal. When we recently had our furnace and AC replaced by another company the installation was done poorly. American Vintage did a great job of making it work despite all of these challenges. Craig was very helpful in specing out the job and Greg went over and above to provide a high quality install. I highly recommend these guys!!

After being onsite for less than 20 minutes, he fixed the problem with a part on his truck and I paid a total of $150 including labor. Greg, who was awesome, came out to attach a Nest connector to our Spacepak so that we could utilize our Nest thermostat. He was quick, efficient and very helpful. Richard at AHV was extremely helpful in getting the right person for the job. _______________________ American Vintage came highly recommended to us through SpacePak's corporate offices. I reached out to them to find a certified tech who would come take a look at the condenser, SpacePak unit and humidifier on a home we are in contract to purchase when our inspector mentioned a second opinion on it should be done. Based on those initial thoughts from our inspector we were overwhelmed thinking that this would be a heavy cost which could ruin the entire deal. American Vintage's owner personally reached out to me after I spoke with customer service, even though we are into a cold month he assured me they could help. He was very kind, knowledgeable and understood my concerns. He agreed to send someone, thus giving us great peace of mind we weren't walking into a possible costly consequence. Our tech came out and was great! knowing the background provided to the company he could have very easily "taken" us for something, anything, suggesting it needed some sort of repair or maintenance but he didn't. He assured us it was in excellent condition and everything looked great and that there was no need for anything further. We are so grateful and will definitely call them for any future needs should they arise.

The six days of of the job included some of the hottest days thus far of the summer, during which he worked steadily in our attic hanging the second floor air handler, and fabricating and assembling the air distribution ductwork, refrigerant and drain piping, and electrical power and control wiring. My A/C went out during the summer when temperatures were in the 90's. I called American Vintage Home and they were very fast to check out my system. Since my furnace and A/C unit were pretty old, we decided to replace them both (didn't have a choice with the A/C unit). Craig with AVH did a great job in going over the options for replacement. Called American Vintage Home about a clogged bathroom sink drain. Clog was behind the wall, not in the P-trap, and I was hesitant to use an auger/snake on my own, due to the age of the drain pipe, and was worried about making a hole in the side of it. Tony, one of their plumbers, came out the same day. I expressed my concern about the age of the pipe and snaking it, and Tony was instead able to use a special compressed air machine to force out the clog. Within minutes of him arriving, the sink was draining again perfectly. Tony even took a few minutes of his time to answer a few unrelated questions I had about my main drainage stack. Thanks to Tony and AVH. Extremely professional, extremely prompt, and extremely great work. Pricing was very reasonable, as well. 5 stars.

Most importantly, John’s knowledge and respect for antique plumbing and antique fixtures marks him as a rare gem among servicemen, who are generally more apt to saw and hammer their troubles into submission. I can promise you that there really are homeowners out there keen to maintain their vintage fixtures and valves (and wallpaper) where possible, and John’s smarts and patience suit such work perfectly. So I would start off by saying they certainly could be a 4 or 5. However, no where close to what we experienced. We did an entire upstairs mini split. To start. The sales person is either non responsive or non existent. Great in taking an order and showing up. However pre installation, never returned a phone call email or cell phone message. Very frustrating since he was the only contact we had. Finally a call from the installation person a day before we got started. Installation crew is a 5 plus. Professional, careful, spotless and all done on time. Post installation, A noise fan or motor in the bedroom unit. Totally understand that. Call and service person comes out, says its a motor, they would replace it. Great, that works for us. He says it will be ordered the following week. Next week goes by nothing. I call 3 times they say will check the warehouse and get back. No response. Finally get someone who tells me part never ordered, they don’t agree with the guy who showed up. Wonderful, but no one ever told me the customer. Next day guy shows up says it’s fan not motor. My only request “please keep me informed” even it takes a few weeks. Well going on week two and Nothing, not call. I will follow up on Monday “again” My point, they are quick to take money, not so quick to communicate after. Will lower the rating again, if I don’t hear anything next week. MY POINT. ALL I NEED IS COMMUNICATION, YOU CAN MAKE MISTAKES AND PROBLEMS CAN HAPPEN, JUST TELL THE PEOPLE WHO PAY YOU WHAT IS GOING ON Update: If you have an issue, Damitri is your guy to fix it. He was out here 4-5 times. Never gave up or tried to explain away the problem. Working with Rich (service manager, I believe) also incredibly professional. Honestly I was worried, but they stood by their word and stayed with us "upgrading review" to five stars.

Contacted American Vintage Home, Inc. to have a chimney liner installed after doing some research on why we were getting water leaks from the bottom of our chimney. They contacted me the next day and Adam came out to give us an estimate. Explained everything to us and did not try to sell us anything that we did not need. Remon came on site one day to inspect my broken Unico AC system. Shortly thereafter I was contacted by someone at the office to schedule a repair. The system was 10+ years old and had a unrepairable leak in the condenser coil. This part of the system needed replaced. Remon returned and spent many hours replacing the part. It was a complicated replacement in a confined, awkward space so it took several hours. Following the parts replacement, Remon tested, filled, tuned, and monitored the system to ensure it was working properly. On both the initial diagnosis and the repair visit Remon was friendly, professional, competent, and willing to answer all my questions.

I like that the technicians are honest and don't try to unnecessarily upsell you. Their technicians and engineers for heating plumbing and cooling are very knowledgeable and experienced.

We are very happy with American Vintage Home. We first had them in to deal with hot water heat pipes installed by another company that had frozen and burst. They repaired that installation quickly and professionally, and the difference in quality between their work and what the other guys had left behind was immediately obvious. We wished we had found them first. They later repaired the AC SpacePak install (done by the same bad company), replaced our boiler and hot water heater with a modern unit, and most recently replaced the now 12 year old AC with a newer, quieter, and more energy efficient version. They have consistently been on time, professional, friendly, and efficient in their work. On the rare occasion that an appointment needs to change, they are very good about being proactive and calling to make new arrangements ahead of time. I wish all building trades professionals were as good as these guys. Highly recommended.

American Vintage did a great job with our heating and A/C. We have a 100 year old house that they installed A/C in for the first time. We received several quotes but American Vintage was the only one to sit down and walk through the process and our options in detail. Installing the high velocity system (SpacePak, etc..) is unique and the education was extremely helpful as we made our decision. After deciding to move forward they walked through the installation process again and we approved where every duct would go so there were no surprises and the ascetics of our home were kept in tact. Mike and his crew did a great job - they were friendly, trustworthy, and again very knowledgeable. The install went seamlessly and the system works great. My only critique would be we had a few issues with stains on our carpet which to their credit they owned up to and we worked out a solution that allowed us to get the carpets cleaned at no cost. We love our new A/C. The install was not cheap which makes hiring a company as knowledgeable and professional as American Vintage that much more important. We had them do work on our boiler and install additional heating in our home with radiators as well- I would echo everything above - great work and would highly recommend!

Not only is he knowledgeable, but he takes the time to answer questions and explain why he is making various adjustments as he works. David has been working in my home for several years. I have complete confidence in him. In fact, he is the only American Vintage Home technician whom I will allow to work on my equipment. It is very evident that David enjoys his work. He keeps up with the latest advances in the HVAC industry. I know this first hand because last year he connected hoses to my condensers to check the refrigerant level. Today he used a high-tech procedure, involving his smart phone, to complete this task. He explained that the new procedure ensures that no refrigerant is lost during the check up. Let me tell you why David impressed me as soon as I met him. He was sent by AVH to trouble shoot a problem that I was having with our zoned heating system. One zone did not work. AVH initially sent out a technician who spent over an hour trying to fix the problem, to no avail. He simply could not figure out what was wrong as he logged time running up my bill. Finally, I asked that man to leave. David came the next day. It took him less that five minutes to diagnosis and fix the problem. This example attests to David's knowledge and diagnostic skills. Finally, I want to say that David is a real gentleman and a pleasure to have in my home.

Walter L. arrived several minutes early for the winter inspection of my boiler and humidifier. He was pleasant and efficient and got right to work. When he needed to replace a filter, he informed me right away, and when all the work was done, he gave me a thorough oral report of what he had done. Once the inspection and cleaning was completed, he answered several of my questions related to other heating issues. One of those involved a lack of heat in an upstairs room. He volunteered to take a look at it, but suggested it was probably just a matter of the radiator needing to be bled. To that end, he gave me a sturdy tool for that purpose. I used the bleeder key the next day, and it worked. The pipe was full of air which needed to be released. In short order, the radiator started working again and the room is now warm. In my many years as an American Vintage Home customer, I have rarely been disappointed with its service.

I am a bit torn. What I like about American Vintage is some of their staff, such as Jessica and Walter. They have both been very up front, friendly, and straight shooter. The company is responsive and punctual which I also like. My only caveat is the price. While they do not charge per hour, there is a service fee, plus a diagnostics fee, plus the actual job. They are more on the expensive side of things, but they guarantee their work (make sure to have this written in their work orders before you sign off on it!). I really do wish they weren't as pricey as they are. If they weren't, they'd have all of our business. And for a 150 yr old building, that's a lot!

The work he did was mostly preventive in this annual inspection visit, but he explained clearly why I needed a new ignitor for the furnace, which was an added cost. Very careful and thourough installation of a spacepac system in our 1889 house. installed system works very well. Not cheap, but worth the money. Very good , courtous, and technically competent installers. My only complaint is that I did not understand that I would be responsible for covering up some exposed tubing (with soffits) and that holes into crawlspaces would be covered with plywood panels rather than re-drywalled. The fact that I still feel it was a very good job and value attests to how good the HVAC work was. service call with Matt today was super good. really love the professional approach to everything, as well as the transparancy of billong etc. also, very good covid protection and sensitivity. 5 stars on this service call!

I had my AC installed in March and I waited for most of the summer prior to my review. Well, it's nothing short of amazing! Our home was built in the early 1950's and had baseboard boiler heat with no ducting. They managed to run ALL of the hi velocity ducting within walls and floors with absolutely nothing running in a closet. We had two different crews work on our home (the lead on the first crew had a family emergency) and both were outstanding. They cleaned up every day and were very courteous. As far as the AC goes, my rooms are definitely within the +/-2* as promised. The calculations made to determine the number of outlets in each room was spot on. I am beyond impressed everything this company did to make our home as pleasant in the summer as it is in the winter. I would HIGHLY recommend them for installing AC in your Vintage Home.

I contacted several companies regarding replacing my 40+ year old hot water boiler system. The engineer from American Vintage Mark came out to my house and carefully measured out the dimensions of all the rooms, locations of doors, and windows in order to calculate the most efficient new system for my house. I chose American Vintage because they seemed to put the most thought into what my needs were. We discussed future expansion plans and chose a boiler that could easily accomodate future expansion. Once the install started everything moved pretty fast. Everything took about 4 days. The technicians were very polite and happy to answer all my questions. The new system works incredibly well and everything went as planned. It was a big investment but well worth it. I don't think anyone can beat the expertise of American Vintage when it comes to older homes.

AVH's off-season price tied for best for a mid-efficiency boiler, and it was also the most thorough quote estimate we received (most detailed write-up and inspection of our current set-up). American Vintage Home is tremendous and saved my bacon. I invested in an expensive new hydronic heating system several years ago. It never worked right and was not producing enough heat to handle the extreme cold weather. The original installer claimed that everything was fine and would not support their install or trouble-shoot the system. For years we labored through the winter without adequate heat. Several large heating companies inspected the boiler and said it was fine and I just needed larger radiators, which I installed, but clearly it wasn't fine. American Vintage Home inspected the boiler system and identified the problem very quickly. Yep, turns out that the original installer did not pipe it in correctly. Now its working great! American Vintage Home did a great job because they took the time -- unlike the other contractors -- to actually trace and study the piping and valve systems, do the necessary heating calculations, measure the temperature of the radiators, etc. . Kudos to Adam and Dmitri! If you aren't getting answers on your heating problems, call them right away.

We have used AVH for two boilers and annual maintenance. In this case, they replaced our boiler after the previous one had a long and useful life. AVH gave us a great price on a new, high-efficiency unit. I have a fair amount of mechanical background so, with that qualification, the installation and follow-up technician visits were well-done. Installation and follow-up personnel were friendly. Everyone knew what they were doing and addressed my questions on the process and mechanics of the new boiler. The technician who did the follow-up visit was very thorough and stayed as long as we wanted to run through variations in heating effectiveness from room to room. AVH's annual home service contract costs the same as an annual check-up so it's worth the price, esp. for the couple of times when we've needed them because of a rare boiler issue and they ave showed up promptly, even after hours.

We have been using American Vintage Home for the last 20 years. Over the years, they have installed Space Pac, furnaces and boilers in a couple of our 1920's era homes. They have also done some of the plumbing work in the homes, and we have used them for all maintenance and the occasional repair. They are a great company and I have been happy to use them for all work. This fall, we needed to replace a furnace and AC unit. Because of the cost, I decided to get another quote. I researched another reputable vendor in the area and had them quote the EXACT same furnace and AC units for the job. There was only a 3% difference in price - which is nothing on a huge job. So not only have we had great service from them over they years, their prices are competitive with other reputable companies in the area.

We recently hired American Vintage Home to install a new furnace. Because our existing furnace was not functioning (and it was starting to get cold outside), time was of the essence. AVH produced a detailed proposal with several different price options several hours after coming to the house for the estimate. Their price was competitive and they were able to install the furnace within two days. The installation went smoothly and the furnace is working well. They've been very attentive in following up to see if we are experiencing any problems. They also repaired our Spacepak air conditioning system over the summer and saved us the cost of installing a whole new system.

We have been using window AC units in our home for many years. After losing some old shade trees I decided that installing larger window units would add too much noise for comfortable sleeping at night. I contacted American Vintage Home for quotation and can only say that my experience with them from beginning to end has left me more than impressed. They epitomize what a good company should be all about. Scott, our salesman was very thorough and took care to listen to what I had in mind. He did an excellent job of gathering the details and in reacting to my various questions. More importantly he accurately communicated our needs to management. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a personal phone call from this company's owner following Scott's visit to further discuss the various options and considerations. He is truly dedicated to giving his customer the best choices and it was quite satisfying to deal with someone who is truly passionate about his work. When undertaking a large expense such as ours--i.e. installing a complete upstairs cooling system where none existed I feel that it is extremely important to take the time up front to consider all of the options and costs. American Vintage ended up supplying four choices at various price points. No other competitive quote was as thorough. Some were less than a page! Prices are very fair for what they do. Not the highest, not the lowest. I chose a split ducked ductless system from Mistubishi. Although a bit more expensive than other choices it is very efficient and when installed properly, almost completely silent. I am amazed that when you put this system in auto cooling mode you barley know its running. A major part of this result was American Vintage Home's careful design and installation of the system, especially the ductwork. I have heard other systems in friends homes that were relatively noisy and some even whistled. Not good for sleeping at night. They reacted to this perfectly for us with their installation plan. Greg Rozowicz, Dispatcher, did a good good job scheduling the installation around an upcoming business trip to Europe. Dimitri, their Installation Manager and Roberto arrived on time and after review together for the choices for locating the air registers, condenser, line set, etc.and other details he left and Roberto took over. All I can say about Roberto and crew is that he is one of the best. Always on time, courteous, and highly skilled. His installation was literally white glove. Very careful to protect our possessions and excellent worksmanship. He is a very hard worker yet still manages to take time as opportunity allows to chat. You feel quite at home with him. He and his crew worked very hard for four days and finished the installation on time as promised. I was quite relived since I had to leave for Europe only 18 hours later. Upon my return I had some questions for the wireless thermostat which Greg conveyed to Dimitri who then sent detailed instructions immediately for resolving my questions. About three weeks after the installation was complete Dimitri made a dedicated visit to personally inspect the installation, make some final adjustments which I desired and made a point to learn if I had any other questions or concerns. The system has run perfectly ever since. The weather is now turning quite warm and humid and I am smiling at the great choice I made to choose Americian Vintage Home for this work. You really couldn't make a better choice in my opinion.

I have used this company for both heating system work and plumbing. Recently i was left in the larch when Home Depot refused to install the dishwasher I had ordered from them, owing to a technicality with my plumbing. I was able to schedule a next business day appointment with a plumber from AVH, who arrived on time, fixed the small plumbing issue, and installed the dishwasher. The company is a little pricey(reason for 4 stars), but the quality of the service is worth every penny.

The company offered a fixed-price boiler servicing as a temporary special. This was appreciated by both me and the service expert Andrew, who was able to take his time to investigate a minor leak, a wet patch, the condition of the gasket, etc. and to clean out the main parts of the boiler. Somewhat uncharacteristically for companies like this, he didn’t pressure me to sign up for or replace anything. We love our new SpacePak air conditioner. At first I felt like I was being passed around as the intake person passed me along to the sales engineer who passed me to the installation engineer, but when the installation engineer got there I was immediately put at ease -- he knew what he was doing and knew how to explain it. We are very pleased with the function and appearance of the work. Only downsides: a bit of chipped tile and poorly patched plaster from the installation.

We have a high efficiency boiler providing radiant heat and domestic hot water to a portion of our home. This system had not worked properly or consistently since we purchased out home several years ago. Several HVAC contractors provided us with estimates to either repair or replace our system. But it was not until we met J.R. from American Vintage that we felt comfortable that we were being given the best long term solution. J.R. spent many hours designing a replacement system to meet our needs. It was not the lowest cost solution, but it was clearly the simplest and most dependable proposal that we received. Working with AVH for our home boiler replacement was a terrific experience from start to finish! After receiving bids from 3 different contractors, I chose AVH not because they were the low bidder (they weren't) but because the time and thought JJ put in to the process left me confident the job would be done right. And, it was. Appointment times were kept, the crews were pleasant, the work completed efficiently and on time with no surprises, the basement was left clean, first class workmanship, and I am delighted with the result. Having Dmitri do a final inspection a couple days after the installation was completed gave us some time to assess the heat distribution to all radiators. He quickly made a minor tweak that perfectly balanced the system and he showed me how easy it was to make additional adjustments myself if that proved necessary in the future but I haven't had to touch a thing.

American Vintage Home has installed a space pak unit in my condo, which turned out to be manufacturer defective (1.5 years after original install). They did a great job on the original install - painful due to all of the plaster drilling in my condo and creating differs etc. For the replacement, there was no argument about the cost - they worked directly with Space pak to get a new unit and get their costs covered, so no charge to me. Ishmael and Mike came yesterday and completed the work - an all day job / and I now have a working unit again in time for summer. Ishmael was very polite, professional and worked very hard to get the job completed. Thanks to both of them! Last step will be to get my hallway ceiling rebuilt with the accesses they need for future service. Hoping American Vintage Home can get that scheduled soon for me! Highly recommend American Vintage Home for making a bad situation right with minimal discussion.

I really can't say enough about the quality of the service men who have worked at my home; without exception, over the last ten years, these experts have provided the most friendly, most qualified installation and repairs, accompanied by advice, information, and knowledge, on-time arrival. Just today, a new AVH employee came to do a yearly check on my AC system, and right away his knowledge and his personable manner made me feel comfortable; when he said that he had been working with the company a short while and felt privileged to work for American Vintage Home, I knew that the company had made yet another good decision about whom to hire, how to train him, what to expect from him, and how to make him feel a part of the very good company. As usual, he did a thorough job in making our radiators stop clanging now and then, and also as usual, he was friendly, careful, personable, and a really nice man in talking with us about our system and how to care for it now and what we might do in the future. Update: Steve B. has been in our basement several times in the last month--January 2016--for routine check-ups, but in particular to "solve" a clanging/banging sound that erupted regularly in winter for the last year or so. Steve B replaced two ten-year-old motors, draining pipes and radiators, and though he made no promises about getting rid of the noises, he did just that--as well as adding several rubber pieces in another pipe to stop noises there. Not a sound comes from those pipes and those radiators. Just wonderful, warm quiet. And, truly, Steve is another employee at American Vintage Home who seems to be just among the very best. He is an expert at what he does; he is kind and generous and thoughtful with his customers; he certainly represents his company--American Vintage Home--in the best light. I would never consider using another company for any service that AVH provides.

AVH just replaced the space-pack in our 1934 home. They did a great job! They were easy to work with at every stage starting with the first home visit, inspection and estimate process. During this phase they took their time and carefully examined our old system and then thoroughly discussed and educated us on our options. My wife and I had many questions which were patiently answered. Their pricing was reasonable and significantly less than one of the estimates we received. The estimate is itemized, detailed and clear, so their is no confusion regarding the exact system, components and services that are included. The installation crew that subsequently came after we decided on our system was outstanding. They were polite, extremely neat with tarps and paper placed on all of our shelving and the carpet near the work area and attic access. The 2 man crew knew exactly what they were doing and worked two 11 hour days in a row to complete the job.The first day when they left, the work area was immaculate. The old system and all debris was removed, leaving us with a new, powerful, quiet AC system. Our job included replacing the old, Space-Pak unit in the attic, the outside condenser, new ducts, connections, etc. 10 days after installation AVH scheduleds and sent out a technician who carefully double checks our whole new system to make sure everything is working properly-it was! This company takes its reputation very seriously. Every employee we met in the process was outstanding. You should definitely have AVH give you an estimate before you commit to your next project
