Our building had our dryer vents cleaned today and we were so impressed with the Air Flows crew. They arrived on time and explained exactly what needed to be done. They accessed the outside vents by rappelling along the side of the building. And then they cleaned out from the inside in each unit. Highly recommend this company! Well worth the peace of mind.

Anton clearly explained to me what needed to be done and that same day sent an estimate. I set up an appointment that was very convenient for me. I have a customer service background so I pay close attention to the service provided and the quality of work being preformed. I received a call from Nathan this morning to let me know he was on the way and how long would be before he arrived at my home. The two gentleman who came, Nathan and Anthony were personable and very pleasant to work with. They did not waist any time and were very thorough, they were respectful of my space and very professional. It has been a long time since I have have a company do work for me and I feel like when I need this work done again I don't want any other company but Air Flow Chicago. Hired for HVAC duct & vent cleaning — I was able to get on their schedule relatively quickly and the team showed up timely and worked efficiently. Following the cleaning, we encountered a minor issue that was not allowing our system to complete the heating cycle. I reached out and was given a quick follow-up call from Antoine. He identified himself as the supervisor and gave me his personal line to contact him when we were back in town so he could come look at what was going on. Antoine quickly came out to our home himself and resolved the issue within minutes. Antoine was professional, knowledgeable and gave me great advice re: another separate / unrelated issue we were having. Probably the fastest service appointment I ever had - I contacted them through the website, and it just happened to be the case that a client in my area had canceled their appointment. Within 2 hours Juan and his colleague were at my door, and they did a great job cleaning the entire duct system and dryer vent during the rest of the afternoon. They offered several additional services (furnace filter cleaning, installation of a sanitizing UV light) but were not pushy at all about a rejection of some of those. All in all, a very good experience, would recommend it.

Highly recommend Air Flows Chicago. Nate and Juan came out on time and got the job done quickly and efficiently! They called ahead of time to let me know when they would arrive, and got here promptly within the time frame they gave me. I initially pointed out the wrong vent (on the wrong floor of the house) and they were able to correctly identify the appropriate vent on a higher floor and got to work. The whole process was easier than I could've hoped and Nate and Juan provided great customer service, as well as giving me tips on how to maintain the dryer vent in between routine cleaning.

I found them online but it turns out a couple property managers I know use them on a regular basis. Every person I have dealt with is professional and answered all my questions in detail. The pricing was slightly below what I researched would be standard. Keenan and Curtis in the estimate and operations were responsive and assisted with making this an easy process. I have already recommended them and will continue to do so. When the techs came out to clean out the clothes dryer vents and clean the ducts of two of the 3 units in my 2 flat it didn't take as long as I thought and planned for. If I could give 100 stars I would!

Juan and Eddie, who cleaned our chimney, were very professional, called me about 20 minutes to let me know they would arrive soon and explained the work they were going to do for cleaning our fireplace. They were very efficient in prepping the area and made sure the they didn’t leave a mess. They answered all my questions about how to take care of the fireplace, what wood to use, and any maintenance we should do. Stan did our HVAC maintenance on the same day and was also very professional. He also called to let me know he was on his way and got right to work when he arrived. He did not mind answering my questions and gave me tips on some maintenance items we should do. Air Flows is very courteous and professional. They are very responsive online to messages and seem very knowledgeable about the service they provide. I would hire them again.

Prompt service. Knowledgeable person to quote and quick turn around on the execution. I appreciated the tech that saved me $120 by asking if I was Home Depot savvy. $150 to install a push on vent is insane when it’s a $15 piece. I provided the vent and my quote was 375-650 for a vent replacement. Had to ask to bring or down from the 650 price when I provided some of the parts at the conclusion of the job. It took 1.5 hrs to do 2 person crew. I don’t feel that the parts were considered but the crew doing the work? Top notch.

They were super fast, efficient, and professional the whole time. They called before arrival and came at the beginning of the appointment window, which I appreciated. Robert had clear communication and discussed each step throughout the process. As Juan cleaned the vent system from the outside, Robert stayed by the dryer inside to ensure proper cleaning and to prevent any damage to the dryer. He stayed after the vent was clean to ensure the dryer’s sensor signal was cleared and that the dryer was working properly. I was so happy I found this place that I wanted to make sure I took time to leave a review. Initially I we had been hearing bird noises; they had been building a nest in my dryer vent that was completely open to the elements, no cover or mesh or anything. I reached out to a few HVAC companies and after several telling me my vent is too high (I’m on the 3rd floor of a 6-flat, ~50ft up), I finally found one that could do it. Once they were able to see the duct in the ceiling they replaced it with a brand new one so it was up to code and had no nest anymore, but after them coming by 3 times, they ultimately were not able to finish the job by actually closing the vent with a cover since their ladder wasn’t high enough, which was so frustrating since the main reason I reached out was to stop the bird problem anyway. Because that company wasn’t able to finish the job, birds were able to come back and just enjoy the brand new dryer vent and bring more items to create nests. Other HVAC companies I reached out to after said they did not have a ladder that was long enough and it was too much of a liability. I was starting to lose hope to find a company to install the cover without having to set up expensive scaffolding or paying a minimum price for people to use some hefty equipment. Once I finally reached out to Air Flows Chicago, they listened to my problem, understood and came out as soon as possible to assess how high up it was and what they are capable of doing. They have a guy who is able to hang off the roof and take care of things on the exterior of the building, but they were able to clean out the duct, get on the roof and reach down to install it in less than a half hour. I’m so happy that this is finally done and they saved me from the headache of having a brand new duct that I knew birds were just going to create a new nest in anyway. I will certainly be reaching out for all my other HVAC needs again with this company. Thank you so much!!

Using them for 3 years and finally decided to leave a review. We are using them to clean my rental properties dryer vent every year and every 3 years the ducts. I do not need to make 14 phone calls to schedule with my tenants, they are doing everything! at the end I get an email with a detail of what have been done. I originally hired Air Ducts to do a dryer vent cleaning, as they were the only company I could find who offered a solution to reach a dryer vent more than 25 feet high on the exterior of a building (through a subcontractor). They did a good job of cleaning, however ran into some issues with the existing flexible pipe infrastructure and had to come back to replace it at an extra cost. This was necessary maintenance, and overall it was a good experience even though we had some unplanned extra work. Keith was my main point of contact and I found their entire team very knowledgeable, communicative, and creative when they ran into issues.

This is a solid place to work with. They came out twice to deal with a smell issue. First time they cleaned the furnace and provided thorough service at their standard charge. The second time, it was free. They attempted to uncover a smell complaint from a tenant. They spent 4 hours of free time trying to diagnose a smell issue. For this, I would go with them in the future. i only wish we had identified a solution to the smell. We eventually found a solution on our own by luck, but I think we were lucky. If you want a company that is reasonably willing to go the extra mile for service, this is the one for you. Very rare in this day and age.

Kevin and his crew are amazing. They came out on a Sunday with 24 hours notice. I had an HVAC emergency when I accidentally detached a cleaning brush deep in the air duct inside my wall. We needed a dryer vent cleaning- but opted to bundle furnace maitence and air duct cleaning together with dryer vent to save money, since we needed all services done anyway. Xavier and Sean did a great job. They were friendly and professional- and explained what the were doing and the equipment they were using. Our dryer vent ended up being much higher than I thought it was (we are the first floor of a 4 level condo building- but our vent apparently is up toward to top level). Though they weren’t able to check the exterior due to the height, they cleaned the dryer vent from the inside as best they could. We had been advised by our dryer company that the vent was the likely culprit for some recent dryer performance issues. Even though Air Flows wasn’t responsible for our dryer maintenance itself- Xavier and Sean went out of their way to try and test every possible solution they could think of to help us with that issue and ensure the vent wasn’t the issue. Xavier was also very knowledgeable about furnaces and able to suggest the best filters we could pick up at the store to ensure the best performance and longevity of our furnace. No upselling of unnecessary treatments. Stuck to quoted price- I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in need of dryer vent, furnace maitenece, or air duct cleaning! Will be using them again in the future!

Recently my allergies had been acting up quite a bit and my trusted HVAC guy recommended Keinan (aka Kevin) and his team and they showed us just how dirty / dusty our ducts were and they did a great job of cleaning them out. They explained what they were doing and why and even suggested a UV light to help my allergies on an ongoing basis. They do all the little things right like putting shoe protectors on throughout the house, cleaning up thoroughly after each duct cleaning, and making sure they left things better than when they arrived.
