Al Marino Inc came to our rescue after a worker hit an unmarked water line while working on a foundation repair. We had no water. I called other companies but they were not able to help. Al Marino Inc understood the seriousness of our situation and was able to move their schedule around. We had a plumber at our house within 30 minutes. The repairman "Mike Graley" and his assistant were awesome! They had us up and running in no time. We were very thankful because we have our 82 and 83-year-old parents living with us. Having no water overnight would have not been a good situation. I did not know the vast range of their repair services until Mike told us. He represented the company very well. We will recommend Al Marino's services to everyone. We will also be using them in the future for any of the services that we need.

Had a pipe burst under my house and Al Marino was able to send someone out the day I called. I contacted several other companies in the Charleston/Cross Lanes area and most were unhelpful at best. Called for water backing up in our basement everything a sink, shower, or toilet was used. This was Saturday before Easter. They got here and got it fixed quickly. Really helpful with two adults and 6 kids in the house. They told me all issues they found and gave me some ballpark figures for other work I wanted to budget for. Would definitely call them again.

This is going to be a detailed review. To start, we have had sewage issues since we bought our house last year. The previous owner had issues with backup and draining. So, it got to a point where the toilet would overflow when the shower was in use and would drain very slowly. I called Al Marino and everyone I spoke with from customer service to the techs were extremely polite, professional and understanding. Mike, who I first met along with a helper (I do not remember his name) got to work immediately and we run a camera after trying to snake the pipe and found standing water indicating a collapsed line. Gave me a reasonable quote and proceeded to get an appointment set. Unfortunately, we had an ice storm followed by snow, so it set the work off for a little over a week. After the weather cleared, they came back and replaced the main line outside and found another failed line coming out of the house! They fixed all of that and we were still having the same issue, they then came inside and pulled the toilet and tried snaking the line. They pulled out a gob of stuff and still could not get it cleared. It was compacted severely. They came back the next morning at 7AM sharp, Richard, was one of the gentlemen I met the previous night! After inspecting the layout of the pipes further under the house, they found an issue that was caused by a completely different issue than the first issue that they fixed. At this point, our sewer lines are severely faulty and recommended replacing the line from there to where they had fixed just the day before. We have several issues that were separate from one another but made one huge mess that needed to be solved! Gave me a second quote to repair the other issue and was very reasonable. After a couple of days, our lines have been replaced and working extremely well! No more gurgling or overflowing! We are incredibly happy with the outcome! I also would like to point out that everyone that came to my house went above and beyond to get our issue fixed and stayed late into the evening to get it done as quickly as possible! I will call Al Marino back when I have another issue! I would whole heartedly recommend this company and its employees. Based on their quality and integrity that you do not see much of anymore; I would give them ten stars if Google let me! The job was done right, just the way it should be done! Every one of you I give my sincere heartfelt thank you!!!!!!!

Our electric kept going out. I had another company in first. It was not diagnosed correctly. I called Al Marino They promptly arrived and found the problem. They fixed the problem which was not an easy job to fix. They worked all day and we have not had any problems since. I am very pleased with this company and their staff. I would definitely recommend them for any electrical problems in your home.

Al Marino Inc. was very reliable and kept me informed of when the job would be started and finished. I was able to reach someone in the office with the first phone call each time I had questions! Employees on site were very careful with all the new covid issues and maintained social distancing and wore masks. The job they completed was the replacement of my gas line (which was leaking) and moving the meter from the yard to a safer location beside my home. They managed complex and unexpected issues ( gas company's shut off valve was not where it was mapped) and still completed the job as scheduled! The job site was neat and tidy with new grass sown when they finished.

We’ve have Al Marino come out for a number of services including plumbing as well as installing and servicing heating/cooling. They always been pleasant to deal with on the phone and they send high quality people to get the job done. They’ve been respectful and clean and their quality of work is second to none. They are a bit pricier than their competitor but you get what you pay for! Never been disappointed!

Excellent customer service. I spoke w the owner first, who scheduled me. Later found out they didn't *exactly* service my area but having committed they came out anyway. The next day Al called to make sure I was happy with job. Def was, fair prices. Would recommend!

I'm not a particularly happy customer. I called them to get an estimate to do some house wiring in a bedroom. The technician showed up on time and we walked the through the work. I was told I'd have an estimate the following Monday. I did not get an estimate on Monday. Received a follow up call from them the following Thursday and I told them I never received my estimate and requested a refund on the $79 service fee. Haven't heard from them since. Had another electrician complete the work. I'll never call the Al again except to dispute the service fee. 7/12/2020 - Received a call from the owner. The service fee was refunded. I appreciated the him taking the time to call me and correct the situation.

Did an emergency install on a complete heat pump system, replacing a gas furnace. Quote was reasonable and the quality of the recommended system was good. Installers were on-time, professional and did a neat installation. They wore masks & foot coverings at all times. They cleaned up the site after the install. Very pleased & would recommend.

This is the most honest and helpful company I have ever dealt with. They actually did not even have come to my house to fix a lack of water pressure problem I was having. After talking with Jay Marino on the phone, he suggested that I first make sure the problem was not on the water company side of the line leading to my meter. I contacted American water. They came right away and sure enough the problem was on their side, and American Water fixed it right away. Mr. Marino saved me thousands of dollars. I am so thankful to him and American water for solving my problem. Call this company if you need any of their services.

Scheduled appointment was NOT met by Marino, the first time...rescheduled for the next day. Technician, Mike, arrived in the afternoon. Began work immediately. EXTREMELY proficient and knowledgeable in his craft. Worked very smoothly and efficiently. Discovered an unseen crack in another fitting. Went to Lowe's for the small parts...replacing the cracked fitting. I was VERY SATISFIED with the Technician, MIKE. He was very nice, soft spoken, polite...answered all questions we posed, about the repairs/replacements. The ONLY PROBLEM I had was the UNEXPECTED EXTRA CHARGE for replacing the "cracked fitting"...$220.71. THIS seemed "EXCESSIVE", to me. Saying this, I accept that this is probably the "Going Rate" amongst Plumbing Businesses. I understand that PLUMBING jobs are expensive, to begin with. It's a notable profession...requiring qualified craftsmen. And, Mike certainly was. BUT, replacing a connection valve, in addition to the INITIAL INVOICE cost of $645.85...at an additional cost of $220.71, seemed very high, to me. Mike was GREAT. His work was GREAT. The extra cost for the cracked connector replacement...NOT so great. Lastly, I want to compliment Angie, for her diligence, politeness, and followups on this job. She was very helpful, courteous, and professional. EXTREMELY SATISFIED with everything...except the amount of the additional repair.

I had to call a plumber for the first time ever. I had a toilet stopped up and only one bathroom in the house. Of course I tried every possible thing I could google with no results. I had no idea who to call but saw that Al Marino had good reviews. They arrived in 20 minutes and I had a working toilet in 10 minutes. They informed me what their assessment fee would be before coming out and the repairman told me what it would cost to fix it. They were great and fixed our issue with no problem. The technician was great and very professional. My issue is with the lady who answered the phone and set up our service call. She was very rude and just because I mentioned we have a septic tank, she insisted that she could NOT help me as she said over and over. She insisted that our tank probably needed pumped out. She finally went ahead with setting up for a technician to come out when I insisted that we just needed someone to come an assess the problem since it has happened in the past and was a clog. Which is what it was this time and what we needed a plumber for! I don’t appreciate her assuming that just because we have a septic tank issue it’s because it’s full, and saying that she can’t help me without even knowing what’s wrong.

I had a complex plumbing issue that another plumber was not able to fix. I called Al Marino. The plumber who arrived had over 30 years of plumbing experience. He stated that he had never seen this problem before and was perplexed on how to fix the problem. Regardless, he embarked on a rational approach of isolating the cause and was able to fix the problem. The cost was also reasonable. I recommend this firm.

I want you to know how much I appreciate the excellent service Mr. Doug Kimble provided on November 4th and November 13, 2020. Faced with the unknown damage that had been done by a squirrel to the electrical wiring in my attic, I call your company. Mr. Kimble arrived on time on November 4th to determine the extent of the damage and to give me an estimate of what it would cost to repair that damage. However, not only did he provide me with a “detailed” written estimate, but also pictures that clearly backed up the items listed on the estimate. Impressed by the way the estimate was clearly presented, I accepted it and indicated I wanted to proceed with having the damage repaired. Within a few minutes, I was given a date when he would return to repair the damage. When Mr. Kimble returned, he demonstrated his professional expertise by working into the late evening to complete the repairs. Once completed, he took the time to clearly explain and show me pictures of the work that he had done…comparing the current pictures with the pictures taken during the estimate. His expertise, attention to detail, great communication skills, and professionalism made the experience better than I expected. Personally, I haven’t seen such professionalism in a long time. Have had to repairs done by Al Marino through the First American Home warranty and have been pleased with both. The first the technician diagnosed my heater, found the problem, ordered parts then a couple days later fixed the problem. The second repair was a water leak at the main shutoff, a previous company through First American did a poor repair. Al Marino fixed it correctly with all copper sweated joints. The technician was very professional. I would recommend Al Marino for work outside of First American, as I plan on them being my first call if it is not warranty related.

Let me start by saying this company was unable to help. They could have easily taken my money and I would have been none the wiser. Instead, Shaun and Jay spent over an hour discussing the project and what needed to fix it. In the end, they were not willing to do the work as they are not specialized. Again, they could have taken my money... Shaun spent close to four hours at my home physically inspecting and discussing possible problems. I appreciate Shaun for being so nice and wanting the problem fixed rather than wanting a job. Because of my experience, I would not hesitate to contact them for another project. I hope that the quality of their work is as good as the customer service.

We really Recommend this Company,They are the Best .When our old Heating Unit gave out on Christmas eve We didn't think We would ever find a Repair Shop to help Us.Every where I called to ask if They could do the Repair was either closed or couldn't get to it until after the Holiday.I searched for Heating Unit repair online and Al Marino's came up but I never dreamed They would travel so far on Christmas Eve to take care of Us ,but They did. I rarely write reviews. But I need to urge everyone who sees this to trust and use Al Marino. When our electric bill jumped, they sent someone the next business day to investigate. I’m terrible with names, but that gentleman was thorough, answered my questions and, when he could’ve charged me more to do work that I had originally asked him to do, he chose not to because it would have been a waste of my money. Then the guys came out today to install a new heating system. And there were bumps in the road. They came out this morning, and it is now 8:24 p.m. and they’re still trying to make sure my home has heat. I have two small children and I even got frustrated with these men because I thought my kids were going to be frigid all night (honestly probably not a legitimate concern anyway, but it was one I had). They showed impressive professionalism, helped me understand, and worked to deescalate the situation, as did Mr. Marino himself. Not only that, but they continued to work hard, dealing with the problems and overcoming them. They could’ve legitimately left for the night, but they chose to keep working for their customer m. And they got the heat working. I would hope that the foregoing would be enough to make it clear. But if not, go with Al Marino. Mark, thanks for putting up with my nonsense. And thank you, Adam and Mason for a job very well done.
