I cannot say enough great things about VT Energy! We worked with Casey to get 3 heat pumps and he was just awesome. He walked us through our options, was super knowledgeable and patient with our questions, and was able to get us on the schedule quickly to get heat pumps ahead of winter. The team who did the actual install was fantastic too - professional, very friendly, fun to have around for the day. The whole process from start to finish took less than 3 months, which far exceeded our expectations given both the high demand for heat pump installs as well as supply chain issues. We've had the heat pumps for a few weeks and love them. Highly recommend this company!

On August 25, 2020 Vermont Energy installed a Mitsubishi multizone cold climate heat pump system for our home. The entire process was very satisfactory, from the intital inquiry to the final installation. Every person with whom we interacted was helpful, professional, responsive, courteous and knowledgable. A breath of fresh air these days! It was great working with Vicky, sales rep David P., and installation team of Nick, Pat and Shannon. Also, the electrician who works with the team was just as professional and personable.Thank you, Vermont Energy and related colleagues! We are keeping cool now!

We had VT Energy install a Mitsubishi multi-zone cold climate heat pump in our home. They were absolutely great. Peter, our sales person was extremely helpful in explaining how heat pumps worked and answering all of our questions. The two installers were friendly, polite, and professional. When it was installed, they thoroughly explained how to use the controls. They also patiently answered our questions. The day they installed it, it was 3 degrees out.. In spite of the cold, they attended to every detail. While we bought it mostly for cooling the house in the summer months, when we do use it now, it is really incredible how quickly it can warm our home up. We will definitely use VT Energy for our HVAC needs.

Vermont Energy Contracting has done two jobs for me within two years, installed ductless AC/heat pumps and put in a new hot water heater. They did a fine job on both projects. Also they did not upsell me, in other words, they didn't try to get me to buy more then I needed for either project. I would highly recommend this business based on my experience.

We were having trouble with our Mitsubishi split system. It should have been able to cool our MBR, but it wasn't doing a good job. The technician from Vermont Energy (sorry I've forgotten his name, getting old) came out serviced the unit and thoroughly cleaned it. It now works like a charm!

We just had a heat pump installed by Vermont Energy to provide both heat and AC to our home. This new installation was replacing a smaller BTU, AC-only mini-duct split that they had installed at least 10 years ago. The old AC-only unit still functions like a champ, but we wanted to have a new unit that also provides heat with multiple zones. We called Vermont Energy as we had always been happy with their work and service. Admittedly, the job had some challenges. The work got done over 2 days during a cold snap with snow on the ground. We live on the 3rd floor and so the outside installation was high up. The crew was amazing. The job required HVAC, electric, and carpentry work. The crew arrived when they said they would. They worked efficiently and reduced risks by working on scaffolding and for some part of the job, a cherry-picker. They did what they needed to get the job done quickly and professionally. They were professional, polite and down to business. I will also add that this project happened during the peak of the covid-19 omicron surge. The entire crew was on board with doing the work safely, quickly and reducing the risk of Covid. Everyone wore N95 masks while inside. They were respectful of us and our space. They took their shoes off inside and left things "swept up tidy." We had an energy audit performed just after the heat pump installation and the auditor commented on the job and how professional and tidy it was. There was great care to have minimal piping on the exterior of the building and to have some of it concealed within existing architectural bump outs. They covered the essential exterior piping with a protective cover that closely matched the color of our building. We are extremely happy with Vermont Energy and their work. I highly recommend them!
