Well run organization I would certainly use them again, very happy. Joe was great on the sales and design side of things. Communication was on point from my initial website inquiry
Richie did the installation and he was great! I had a 12 yr old 40 gal natural gas water heater and upgraded to a new 65 gal RHEEM heat pump with dehumidifier. Richie did great work, communication throughout the day was on point and he vacuumed and cleaned up after.

We just had our furnace and hot water heater replaced with the Energy Co-op. Everything from the sales process to install was great. Joe was a professional sales person and very easy to work with. Richie and the rest of the install team were great to work with and removed a furnace, oil tank and hot water heater and replaced it all the same day! I requested a last minute change with the gas piping and without hesitation they accommodated my request. Great company!

I had a heat pump installed by Energy Co-op. They responded quickly to my request for an estimate and made an appointment. For the installation on a very cold day, they worked like a well oiled machine. They were both very knowledgeable and helpful in their instructions on how to operate and maintain it.

We had Energy Co-op of VT install air source heat pumps and replace a hot water heater. They were quick to respond, did great work and have been happy to answer any questions I've had after the install. Happy to recommend them to friends, family and strangers on the internet.

Top notch from very first point of contact. This team is the one to choose if you are looking for the most professional sales, service, and installation and best price. I researched endlessly, conducting onsite meetings and interviews with all local installers. The Energy Co Op exceeded expectations. Joe was prepared with brochures and his onsite consultation was tailored for the best solution for my home. The installers were super efficient and didn't waste a minute. Beyond pleased with the entire process.

In the beginning we were hesitant to buy heat pumps from a coop which still delivers gas and oil. Joe Cobb explained that they want to be part of the transition from fossil fuels. That's our goal too!
Additionally, Joe had informed answers to each of the complex questions we had, both general questions, and questions specific to our house. Where should each heat pump be placed and why? What about this idea and that idea...?
We found his answers the most comprehensive and knowledgeable of all we had heard.
When we asked about hiding the compressors under our back deck Joe agreed. "The installers won't like me, but there is room."
Indeed, one worker spent most of a hot day hunched over underneath the deck, digging and leveling spaces for three compressors. He never complained. The whole crew was helpful and solution-oriented the entire two days.
After installation, Bob the crew leader gave us an instructional on using the remote controls -- one for each of the units. Again, we were left informed and with the knowledge we needed to manage our system.
The whole experience left us with the feeling of money well-spent toward an energy future which should be made available to all.

Energy Co-Op of Vermont is a great organization - we've been members for years now. They recently installed a new oil tank for us. They gave us a fair estimate, and very quickly completed the work in a day. Their technicians found a way to fit it in with some clever last-minute construction, since our "setup" in the basement had the old tank walled-off and was extremely difficult to work with. After we had some questions about the estimate, they gave us a discount, even after we realized the problem was on our end and let them know. Over the years, we've done very well with their early-buy program for the year's oil. We've also been very happy with their website, which shows us in detail how much oil we've used so that we can plan ahead. They're great people to work with, and I highly recommend them to anyone in their service area.

I've been beyond pleased with my experience as a Co-op customer. I switched to them from an out of state-based company because I wanted the superior customer service that a locally-based provider could offer. Their prices are competitive, I've never been let down by their service, and they offer a great variety of services beyond just selling fuel, such as discounts for energy efficiency work, information about renewable energy options, and a lot more. They care about their customers in terms of helping them address all of their energy needs and issues, not just selling more oil. Highly recommended!

We had a second mini split installed by the co-op team. Everything went smoothly and the guys were great. We highly recommend the co-op for your energy projects.
