I had Optimal Air Solutions install a new AC Trane with a Furnace in 2020. The system works great. Both the owner Steve and Buddy did a great job. They came and inspected the units after the installation. Yesterday, I had an appointment with them to tune up my AC. The technician named Eric came to do the tune-up. He did an excellent job. He was very professional, friendly, and very respectful. He was knowledgeable and courteous. He came on time and explained things clearly. I highly recommend them for your AC needs.

We searched for a company that provided installation and backed with repairs and maintenance. Optimal also offers a maintenance contract. We have just renewed because of they have lived up to advertised services. We have had the same technician each call. Javier arrives on time, performs all checks, and asks if there is anything extra he can do before leaving. We hope to have Javier for all future calls. Optimal air company very professional and very quick. Owner of the company Steve was very respective and taking his time on weekend in hot day to install the unit. There were couple of issues during the installation but the they took all necessary steps to eliminate them. Next day after installation owner came to check all the work and final tune up. I could not be more happier with my unit. Lennox 5t 16 seer 2 stage unit including all heating furnace ,condenser, evaporator cooler with 4 in April Air whole house media air filtration system. One more thing is Air Scrubber which purifies the air and kill all germs and it is working great.

Eric Watson was our technician. He came out around 7pm. Our upstairs system stopped working in the peak of summer. The system is 20 years old. Eric worked several hours to try and figure out the issue. He was very knowledgeable and tried the basic stuff first. I wanted him to call it a day and come back tomorrow since he was working in the attic with the heat. He kept working through the night and finally got it running. I truly appreciated his efforts to get the system up and running after a long day of servicing units across town. His words to us before he left….” I wanted to make sure your girls had a cool room to sleep in”. We were touched. Optimal air has never let us down in the past. They installed a brand new system for us on a new home. I have referred countless people to them due to their integrity and honesty. I have worked with Steve Finley for years. They are currently doing a unique multi split system for an older home. Give them a shot. You will not be disappointed. They will not sell you things you don’t need.

Optimal Air folks are very honest. I met Steve wanting to replace my garbage Lennox unit with Trane; however his recommendation to call the company led my unit for warranty work. The 2 coils on Lennox unit was completely rusted and leaked the Freon out. The installers and owner came out to ensure the work was done right. The team of 4 spent nearly 3.5 hours to get the job done right! I highly recommend these guys.

We have really enjoyed our experiences with Optimal Air Solutions. We purchased our 1950s ranch in 2020 and it was clear our A/C unit was about to go out. Optimal provided maintenance for almost 2 years to keep it moving until we were ready to replace our HVAC system. We just replaced our system with a Lennox and replaced all ductwork in the house. We also added vents in some rooms. The installation team was on-time and extremely professional throughout the day, and were communicative with what they were doing and how it was going — I really appreciated this! They meticulously cleaned all the floors and surfaces when they were done (the ductwork replacement left the house pretty dusty!) — we are so thankful for the comfort and peace of mind of a great HVAC product in our home, and of having a reliable and affordable A/C partner going forward.

Optimal Air Solutions exceeded my expectations! My AC thermostat was not functioning properly, and I did an online search to find a company serving the Cypress area. I took a chance and called Optimal Air, and I'm so glad I did! Everyone was so friendly from the beginning...starting from call intake right on over to our repairman, Buddy Finley. They arrived ahead of schedule, completed the job in an efficient, timely manner, kept me updated every step of the way and the cost of repair was less than I was expecting! Other companies I have dealt with in the past used scare tactics to try and make a big sell, but that was not my experience with Optimal Air Solutions. They dealt with me fairly and honestly. Huge praise for Optimal Air Solutions! I cannot recommend a company any higher than the AC company we use. I was fully expecting to have to replace our unit at a HUGE cost... they aren't cheap. I applied for financing through them, and was approved for the full estimate they gave me. So they had money in hand essentially. The tech came out this afternoon with I'm sure the full picture and even though they could easily have had a big sale today, he fixed our unit for under 200 bucks. Yes we still need a new unit. But instead of taking the easy sale, they provided incredible customer service and helped us squeeze a bit more life out of the unit we have. Please use them if you are in Houston!!

The blower motor went out on my system. Optimal Air came to look at it and discovered the needed part was on back order from the manufacturer until MARCH!! My 3rd time using optimal air solutions. Had a new Trane system installed in 2018 and a control board replaced on a 2nd unit in 2019. This time my 2nd unit -a Rheem - was tripping every few secs. I was able to get Joey T to come out and he immediately noticed it was low on freon and tested the evaporator coil and confirmed it was the source of the leak. Today Gilberto & Ivan showed up with the new evaporator coil and were meticulous in their work. Gilberto was kind enough to check the other unit too while he was here and offered tips on cleaning the condensate line. I could not recommend these guys more. So lucky to have these guys and it's a pleasure working with Optimal.

I was recommended this place from an electrician, and I absolutely will keep coming back! I was trying to install my thermostat on my own, but we have a weird unit without a Y wire and we're pretty much lost on what to do next. Since it was shortly after 6, it would've been an emergency call with an after hours fee, but he walked me through what we did on the phone and helped me troubleshoot the problem on my own! Our long-time "A/C guy" moved to Optimal Air Solutions several years ago and we had a need for service at our new house. Optimal did a site inspection and found some insulation issues that we otherwise wouldn't have known about. They proceeded to fix and replace various components of our system. Great job by Optimal. 8/31/20. First, I used to do installs many years ago and appreciate challenges of the business. The quality of the installation was exceptional got a new Trane XV20I unit, furnace, Wifi thermostat. Included a new insulated plenum with dampeners, drip pan with float switch, new vent and drain piping, pad. I sent out for bids to 5 of Katy area / Richmond's top AC companies based upon reviews, BBB membership, etc. Optimal had the most competitive pricing and could deliver a Trane unit right away. Some responders could not get certain equipment and steered me to only what they could get (lower efficiency single stage units). Optimal had a broad range from low efficiency to very high. Others that had the high efficiency equipment were much higher than Optimal with their bids. Optimal also like some of the responsders included all the extras. The highest bidders even wanted to add on $500 for an insulated plenum which was included in some of the bids at lower prices with equivalent or better equipment. Buddy was the sales person and did a great job of explaining all the options. All the area providers were professional and sent out capable staff to represent their products.

Around 9:00 am sales technician Mr Joey was here , very professional and knowledgeable, he recommended to replace the unit , and offer me very good price with financing options, There price was awesome (I already searched the price with others), I asked any more special if I replaced both units, he called his boss and get me the unbelievable price for two Train units with installation, I agreed and apply financing and order done at 10am , (with in hour). Installers whole team was here at 12 noon same day and my both systems installed and running at 6:30pm , Both Erik and Gilbert with 8 others technician, theirs team was very professional, Whole job was done excellent, From beginning to end they are well professional. I contacted Optimal Air after a terrible experience with another air conditioning company in Houston. I was at my wit's end, and really needed the best of the best to come in and correct the problems we were experiencing. Joey T. and the entire team took the time to fully investigate the issues we had with our existing system (horribly oversized for the house) and put together a detailed plan to replace it with the right system for us. Throughout the project Joey, Steve, and the entire team were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. They were honest, on-time, and reasonably priced for the work being done. (Full system replacement, 3 zones, Reme Halo UV filter, and Honeywell Media Filter. I felt better the minute we turned the job over to them, and have not regretted it for a moment. We had a ceiling leak that was dripping all night. Buddy from Optimal came first thing in the morning and fixed the problem fairly quickly. Buddy was really cool, explained everything to me and did great work. I called a few places and Optimal was the first to get back to me. Very professional and once they became aware of my situation (newborn in the house) they sent Buddy over well ahead of the original appointment block. So as I sit here writing this review in my cool AC I can say I would recommend them. I’m not a review leaver, but it’s Houston, it’s hot and quality AC people are hard to find. $89 charge to come out, but goes toward whatever needs to be done. Price was fair in my opinion. AC problems are rarely cheap. Optimal is solid.

Wow, the guys from Optimal Air Solutions did a wonderful job. They arrived on time and immediately went to work inside & outside of my house. I had continuing issues with both air conditioning systems. I did quite a bit of research and got quotations from several other local companies. Eventually I decided to change completely both AC/Heating systems. Some information that helped me choose Optimal Air: - Optimal Air Solutions were listed on the Trane website as licensed distributors for their systems. - the quotation that they gave me was at least at the same level than other couple of quotations I got. They were also very detailed in what the quotation included, and in the same price they installed whole house air filtering systems and new thermostats. - they came for free to look at what I have, what can be done and give me some options. (two other companies wanted to charge me $80-90 for a visit). How I worked with and how I feel about Optimal Air: - I contacted them through the phone. The lady that I spoke with was very helpful and she even gave me some info that other companies refused to give (for example a general idea on the range of prices IF the installation was standard). If she hadn't given me all the info, I wouldn't have even made an appointment. - they sent an email confirming the appointment I made, and could come the very next day. At every appointment, got a text about 1/2 hour before they arrived. - Joey came right at the time agreed, we went over all the details, he explained all the options and send me within a half an hour a written quote, with prices for all the options that I had, from replacing bits and pieces, refilling systems, to complete replacement. I choose to replace everything... yep... a load of money even if it's a good price. - The team that replaced completely both systems came right in time. Bryan was the guy coordinating everything and he was very professional, explained everything, answered the 1 million questions I had, and overall was very nice and knowledgeable. They finished the work a bit earlier than originally indicated even though they encountered a few issues. I am a technical guy, so I know that they did a good job. Overall I am very happy with the Optimal Air, the job that they did, the equipment quoted, and the people that I worked with. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

These folks are awesome! We are in the process of selling our house and no longer live in the area and had contacted several other companies to repair our non-working A/C unit. One company told us they couldn't fix it and to call someone else, another company scheduled an appointment to look at it and never showed up. Optimal Air Solutions not only showed up, they gave us a full report of the required repair along with our options the same day they inspected the system. We opted to replace the whole unit and they were there by 9:00 am the very next day and had the entire system replaced by mid afternoon. And the cost was very reasonable. These guys are amazing. One of our two AC's went out in July 2020, when temperatures were reaching 100*F and Texas was in the middle of a COVID surge. We reached out to Optimal and two other companies to find out what they could do for us. Optimal provided an online estimate for the work and then sent out a technician to verify that everything was accurate. Optimal offered great quality at a fair price. They communicated effectively through the process, showed up when they said and took great care in our home. They used a heavy drop cloth to protect our floors, were very respectful of social distancing and wore masks. We chose to have them replace both AC systems, our furnace and our ductwork. They were very easy to have in our home and wrapped up the job by the end of the day so that we are cool and comfortable again! We have done a few home flips that have involved changing out complete AC systems and our experience with Optimal was BY FAR the best so far. We will be repeat customers. They performed a thorough inspection of the unit, including leak detection and provided us with photos of what was found. We also signed up for their maintenance program (something I never do) because the value was very good. Well, the story is the same as most. Every summer my A/C would stop cooling and instead of doing the right thing, I would have some random company recharge the system for me and move on. Short Review: Excellent Service/ Price/ Company - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Long Review: A coworker suggested Optimal after he had his A/C completely replaced and told me to give them a call for a quote. I had already received a quote from another company but decided to give Optimal a try. Called the company and a very nice person answered the phone and asked a couple of questions before scheduling an appointment. I received a Text message and email immediately after I hung up confirming the appointment. Within the hour I received another message and email letting me know who was coming to my house for the quote. Day of Quote: The next day, I received notice when the tech (Joey) was on the way to my home. He showed up a little early which was extremely appreciated! Joey, was very professional, performed a complete walk through and evaluation of my system. He made a recommendation and provided a price better than my first quote. I never told him about the first quote, so this was Optimal's standard great pricing. After he provide the quote, I received an email not more than 5-10 minutes later with the exact details of the work he offered, in writing with the price!!! No games! I approved the quote and was notified of my scheduled appointment for the next day. Day of the Install: I received notification that they were en route and once again showed up a little early!! Yep, they are consistent with this good service thing, and I love it! The first tech (Eric) walked the house to identify areas that he would need to place drapes, to protect the floors. (Yep that good service again!) Then an additional 2 techs (Jorge and Chris) showed up to begin the work. My gate to the backyard was too small for the new unit, so they removed it and replaced it after they were done. While they worked, my original contact for the quote Joey stopped by to verify everything was delivered as discussed and verified if I had any questions. (Service Again!) They finished the work, cleaned up well, tested the system and walked me through everything until I was pleased. Would I recommend them, yes without hesitation and at this point I'm ready to be their spokesperson after receiving this type of service. This type of experience is rare these days, but it seems to come naturally for Optimal. The Trane system is installed and the house is ice cold!! I'm calling them back out when I'm ready to cool down my work shed!!!

The AC was installed in February 2017. Steve Finley one of the owners of the company went beyond his way to get the AC work at it's best performance. We had some issues in the attic that was causing the AC to run for a longer period of time during the day. He installed the attic fan and a return in the den to reduce the load on the AC. I’ve never meet an hvac company like them. Extremely courteous from the person scheduling my appointment (literally the same day) to Buddy the technician. For 2 years I have lived with a fancy 2 stage, 2 zone with smart thermostats that blew so hard in the master bedroom it sounded like a jet engine. Technician came out at 9am, checked out everything in a timely manner. He told me what I already knew, that I needed to replace one of my units. This was expected as there was a hole in the compressor and the wiring harness was burnt and had been blown off of the compressor. We talked price etc and brand options, and by 3pm a crew was here and promptly started working on replacing the outside unit and the coil inside. They also installed a disconnect outside and a new drain pan and drainage piping. It did take a little longer than expected. The crew was very professional and they seem to really know there stuff. I cannot find a single fault, even if it was an expensive job. Very happy with the product and the workmanship. The cost of the job seems fair when compared with the information on the Trane website, it was actually right on the national average.

The first unit that was 25 years old and was low on refrigerant. Most likely a leak in the evaporator. He gave me an estimate for the recharge but advised that it will likely leak again and he cannot guarantee how long the charge will hold. It was the expensive R-22 and i chose not to recharge since it will need replaced. They are quoting me a new unit now. The second larger unit had a clog in the secondary overflow at the evap coil/furnace. He cleared this for me and the fan started working as designed. He checked the refrigerant and it was full. He gave me some tips to keep the drain line clean so it will not cause future issues. Overall, he was very professional and friendly. I had lots of questions and he was happy to work with me, answer my questions, and show me what he was doing. He explained to me and showed me in detail as I like to understand specifics as how things work with the units. Overall very happy with the professionalism and helpfulness of the support provided. I definitely recommend and will use again for AC and heating needs. Description of work: I had two ac systems and condensers that needed to be looked at. The first unit was 25 years old and is for my upstairs. The second unit for the larger downstairs is 3 years old and the fan was not working. I replaced the fan and dual capacitor previously but it kept shutting off during the day (humid mid summer 95+ degrees). I could not resolve the problem myself and needed help. I originally called another company within the top 3 reviews in my area (Cypress). However, they were very condescending on the phone and not helpful which I did not appreciate. I ended that call and then called this company. This company was very helpful on the phone from the beginning and I decided to go with them.

A call to Optimal Air Solutions was made by 10:15pm for an emergency callout service. Steve took the call and was at the house within 15mins!!! Optimal Air installed a new HVAC in my house this winter (Jan 2018). They brought a very experienced large crew and first removed the old (non-functioning, very large) system from the attic and then put in a new state of the art Trane system. The crew were very professional and committed to doing a quality job and"checked-in" as appropriate on any key decision points regarding location and so forth. The system was installed in the heating season; later the crew came back to add followup vents to accomodate cooling - and the system works great! Steve came over and we inspected the system, ducking was pinched, had dule zone installed by other company was not a true zone.
