I don’t typically write reviews, just select the stars and move on. I felt compelled to write a review this time. John and Moses were on time and very friendly when they arrived. Set up the work area which stayed neat and orderly. The reason I felt compelled to write this review is because at the start of the process it was communicated this project would not be done in the day timeline promised. This was beyond disappointing and frustrating which I vocalized strongly to the site manager who came to check in and seemed passive at my concern. Now my review is not to complain, however, it is to commend the extremely hard work that John and his team did to make the project come in on time. John and Moses and the crew who came to my home worked so hard and diligently. They were professional and friendly throughout the day as I asked questions and nervously paced around the basement. Despite a few hiccups thrown at the end of the process John, Moses and I believe Ed was his name were able to get my furnace installed and running for my family. I know they stayed way beyond what was expected and sacrificed some likely family or personal time. I want to say it was their work ethic and demeanor and just overall attitude that changed my frustration to satisfaction. I am extremely grateful to them for going above and beyond to complete this project.

I called Hurley and David at 9:00 a.m. and they were able to schedule me the same day between times that were convenient for me. They called me 20 minutes before the tech would have arrive and also provided me with a photo of the tech and a snapshot of what to expect from him. Sam showed up on time not only looking professional but being professional and courteous explaining the process and what needed to be taken care of and also pointing out a couple other things that should be taken care of. We agreed on the repairs and Sam went right to work on the repair in a clean and efficient manner. I definitely recommend Hurley and David and Tech Sam to anyone needing their services. Our Tech was Jacob Hamilton and one other he was training (sorry didn't get a name!) They were both very professional, very friendly, and very knowledgeable in their field. They took the time to explain everything to us, let us ask a million questions, and didn't seem bothered by that. We are seniors who found out during routine winter tune up that we needed new furnace. Had 1 company come said 2 weeks so friend told us they had great experience with Hurley. I filled out form on their website at 3:00 in morning. I got call 8:00 with choice of 3 times to come that day. Brandon came and was very professional. He measured house to be sure putting in right size furnace went the extra mile to explain each thing he did and was such a wonderful young man showing great patience with our questions. He could see I was under doctors care and my husband has Alzheimer’s and went out of his way to get heat for us as soon as possible. Using space heaters was ok on the warmer days but we were very cold at night and colder days. I would highly recommend you call Hurley for any heating and air conditioning. Even if you want second opinion be sure Hurley is part of your getting estimates. I took such a great sigh of relief and felt so comfortable dealing with Brandon. He is a great asset to this company. I can’t stress enough the difference between companies we talked to. I hope this helps someone in a similar situation as ours to get the best care possible.

I give them props for coming out quickly, but follow-through is not great. I paid over $100 for same day service because out heating system wasn't working. The tech thought it was 2 pieces that was going to cost $2700 and wasn't 100% guaranteed to fix the problem. We decided to replace the whole furnace on our brand new house and scheduled that for 10/27. Guys came in on 10/27 replaced the whole unit and it seemed like it worked just fine. It was hot and noticed our AC stopped working after a couple days with the warmer weather, but we decided to check to make sure the heater was working and it wasn't!! H&D came back out 11/8 to find out that the one piece they put on was filling with water, but not emptying and it triggered a switch to shut off. Tech left and said they would come back with a new piece the next day and they would contact us. No one called so I called and had to set up another appt for him to come back that day which was 11/9. I got a text from H&D saying the appt they made me for the day should be done sooner in the day rather than between 2-6 because the tech needs to contact tech support which can take a while. Well anyways tech came back and switched the part out, the unit began to work, but was only working for a few minutes and then shutting off, but by the time that was done tech support was closed. Tech stated the same thing about being contacted by them to have them back out, but we can't constantly take off of work to be home for a problem that is not out fault. Not sure why these installs are not fully verified completely functional when done. Now I had to call back to have them come back tomorrow and have a family member be there because they can't do this on a weekend. I am truly hoping this is 100% fixed by tomorrow especially with the colder temps these next fews days. I mean I did just spend $9350 on a new furnace install in my only 1 year old house and have actually purchased a new AC/Heating unit 4 years ago at the house we sold.

Jorge came on a repair call and alerted me to the fact that our whole central air system was not functional. He let me know it would be costly for a repair that would need a replacement soon after so I went with HD to replace and install a new system. They were fast, courteous and professional. Having Jorge help was like having a friend help. Trustworthy and honest. I’ll let you know how the install goes in a few days. Install was fast and efficient. Kyle and his crew were awesome.

Jorge was fantastic . He was very thorough in his explanation of what he was doing; the repairs that needed to be done; and the options that I have, he was very professional and helpful, and even was finding ways to help save me some money. The best thing about Hurley and David is that I had called many different companies to have work done and none of them Were very helpful I even had one tell me that even though my repair was an emergency situation they would be there in December to months after I called them and they would still charge me an emergency fee of $109 just to come out even though it was two months away. It was still considered an emergency call so I appreciate George and Hurley and David definitely five stars in my book.

So I made a big mistake going with another company for an annual tune up on my oil furnace. After having some issues come up I decided to give Hurley & David a call to see if they could come out and look at it. Adam was at my door about 2 hours later. How many other times have you called for service and they came to your house that day? Already off to a great start. I went through the very minimal that I new with Adam. He got to work right away. While looking everything over, he brought up so many things that should have been done by the other company that hadn't. He was frustrated and mad for me, even madder than I was that it wasn't done properly. He mentioned that he treats every customer like it's his own house and I believe him. Adam overall was fantastic. He walked me through everything he was doing, informing me of how things should be, etc. He had everything fixed, and there was a lot, in just a few hours. I can't thank Adam enough for what he did and how professional he was with me. H&D have a new customer in me.

Consult meeting with Brendon was great. Was very efficient. We will be having our heating system replaced. We didn't feel pushed to make a decision and answered all questions we had. Thank you Brendon! Nathan was fantastic. He detailed the workings of our system for us. Showed us how everything should work and what wasnt working properly. Fixed the issues he was able to fix and found a crack on my boiler that was a concern. He was able to get us heat and answered every question we had. Called for service and they were able to come out the very next day. Super nice technician. Friendly and right on time. Took the time to explain everything that he was doing to me and showed me exactly what was wrong with the furnace. Turned out the it was on it’s last leg and we need a new one. The technician wasn’t pushy about needing to purchase a new one from them but very helpful in explaining my options and setting up an appointment for a quote. Let me start with Jim, the service technician lead is very knowledgeable and professional. However, over a planned two day installation some things were left to be desired. The team left at 4 pm the first day and left all of the old system out on my front lawn. Even though my wife said “ok” it really wasn’t. The next day Jim seemed rushed around 6 pm and wanted me to sign off on the work. I didn’t receive my electrostatic filter that was contracted and the basement was a mess. The floor coverings used were not sufficient and the rug was not vacuumed. I did not sign off on the work and Jim left just before seven pm.

Jacob was very polite and knowledgeable in his craft during yesterday's annual heat pump maintenance visit. He bled the line to the second floor since I told him I did not get enough heat last winter after the initial install of a new heat pump system by HDAir last summer. He said there was a lot of air in the line, which is strange because the line was bled last August after initial installation. Regardless, I hope I notice a difference this winter since I had to use my electric mini split to heat the entire second floor last winter - more expensive than gas heat. Overall, i'm very happy with Jacob's service, his ability to listen and proactively react to my concerns, and his acute attention to detail.

HVAC technician James McCarthy and his capable team installed a new furnace and air conditioning unit to replace my 36 year old Carrier units with a Lennox brand that was highly recommended. They were able to work around shelving units that were put up after the old unit so I didn’t have to take them down. I was pleasantly surprised that they pushed very hard to get the install done in one day. His entire team was courteous and professional. The install estimate was pricier than other companies, however, HD Air responded quickly to my estimate within a few days of my call. David, who began the estimate process, spent a considerable amount of time inspecting the home and calculating my HVAC needs. He left no stone unturned with the challenges of my older home and sent out another installer, Mike, to address the specific concerns of my home the next day. I decided on HD Air due to the timeliness of their estimate, the detail in which they addressed my concerns and the customer service professionalism of the call center. I’m confident that if and when I need service in the future, this company will expedite my concerns as they have already proven their timeliness, professionalism, and courtesy in the estimate and installation process. Update: After the gas inspector recommended a support, I called HD and had my concern addressed immediately by the office staff. The next day HD sent Chuck Fortin to install a support for the exhaust duct to comply with the gas inspector. Chuck was efficient and pleasant, the work area left clean and the support installed aesthetically. I’m very impressed with Hurley and David and would highly recommend them for anyone needing to update their heating/cooling systems.

If, in future, some funds come my way, I would absolutely call them. Gabriel even shop vacced the water from the floor, which was so helpful! HD air came same day and sent their tech Michael D. He was reliable, professional, and was able to quickly identify what the issues were (and this wasn’t easy as it was an old steam type boiler). Even though there will need to be some parts ordered, we feel confident in the service diganoatic and will definitely being moving forward to get the parts ordered. Hopefully the same tech comes!!!!

Jorge and Brandon were amazing and straight forward. They both educated us on everything and walked us through our systems needs. Unfortunately we determined that it wasn't worth repairing but I'm thankful for the education, so we could make that choice. Brandon helped us with reviewing a new system to replace the ancient one we have. They were easy to talk to and made us comfortable with everything. So happy with the service Jorge and Brandon supplied. Plus our 3 dogs who uual cant settle around strangers, fell in love with Brandon and wouldnt leave him alone lol. My old lady kept trying to jump in his lap lol. Thank you 😊. As far as price goes, it was not cheap but we got both water heater and boiler. That's the beast of inflation tho, not their fault. Samuel did a fantastic job with everything I needed done. Did a visual inspection of my oil tank, replaced a tank gauge, recaulking around the vent to the chimney stack, and full maintenance of the oil furnace including adjustment of the air intake for cleaner burning, nozzle and ignition system adjustment, filter change and system checkup, etc. Very knowledgeable, polite and courteous, and got the job done fairly quickly for the amount of work needed during the visit. Highly recommend HD Air and Samuel especially for your HVAC maintenance needs!

Updated review: I had to call HD Air once again to help with one of my heaters. Nathan came right away, assessed the problem and ordered the part needed. Without much delay. Nathan came back and completed the job. Excellent service indeed! - - - I called for a service matter and they gave me an immediate next day appointment! The lady said, we want to make sure you are safe - even during the middle of summer they care about my safety unlike other companies who put you on hold waiting for a service appointment. The service rep Adam, was professional, on time and efficient. Fixed the problem right away. Mostly definitely will be using them for regular maintenance and repairs going forward. I had to call HD again to check the boiler as I was thinking it might need a replacement soon. Steve came to check that same day and spent a few hours properly measuring the home not just in sqf but in cubic feet to make sure I get a proper equipment, with consideration to windows and other things etc, something I didn’t see the other reps do. They came out for cleaning and inspection on 2 furnaceson Tuesday. The furnace for our in-law apartment had a crack in heat exchanger and was condemned. They had a person come out measure apartment and showed me options for new furnace same day. Made arrangements for new furnace install for Thursday after Chimney inspected. They were at my house by 6:45/7:00 and done by 1:00. They even cleaned the area better than it was before they started work! The whole team was great, very professional!

After 20 years of active service, my current forced hot air furnace system had failed. During a routine tune up session, performed yearly, it was determined the system had a cracked heat exchanger and was deemed inoperable for future use. The timing of this event was bad as it was late September and the change of season was due. After screening several contractors, I went with Hurley & David, the reasons are obvious. (1) They matched my lowest bid, dollar for dollar and added in several extra perks for future use. (2) They matched the furnace equipment, one for one as well as the warranty. (3) they had the furnace unit in stock, unlike the others who stated it would take up to 2 weeks to order one. (4) They had available time to install within 48 hours of the acceptance of their bid. I went with Hurley & David, the day of installation the crew came and started removal of the old unit, after they finished, the new one arrived and it was installed. It took about 5 to 6 hours to complete the whole process but they were very efficient and cleaned up after themselves. After a successful ignition of the new burner unit, the furnace came to life and runs very quietly, efficiently and reliably. I hope this unit will last longer than the other, although I heard that 20 years is a good life span for a furnace. I would highly recommend this company for HVAC work, as I was impressed at how quickly things elapsed from start to finish. As I stated, earlier, this was a bad time of the year for this to happen, fortunately the weather held out. Again, Thank you for your efficient Furnace replacement service.

I spoke with a sales person at 6:00 pm who measured and calculated the size of the furnace and AC unit needed. They arrived at 9 am the next day with two crews and all of the materials needed. They were careful and respectful with my home and were finished around 4:00. They removed the old AC and furnace, cleaned up everything and set up the Wifi thermostat. They replaced everything including the electrical wires with new. They were a bit more expensive, but I think the service and peace of mind (10 year guarantee) is well worth it.

Do to the covid pandemic, there was some delay in getting the furnace, but once they had it, they were quick to set up an install date and then the job was done professionally. Tom Lafountain was great. He Was called out for a yearly service and took the time to show me at every step what I needed to do for preventative maintenance. Really impressed by the professionalism and knowledge of this service technician. The staff also be sure to notify you of upcoming appointments, have a very easy text system, and really excel at customer service. Couldn’t be happier. -- fast forward one year I had two successful furnace checks with this company. The first time was so good I bought into their yearly service plan. On the second furnace check, they changed out some parts and it was expensive but services were professionally done and rendered. The third time was tonight. I called them because the furnace was out and my son said it was thirty degrees in the house - I am in South Carolina for work. I called them and they said they would dispatch a technician within a few hours. They then called me back and said I hadn't renewed my service agreement so the 40 dollar fee just became 199. I said I had asked for a renewal and never received one evidently but I would still pay the difference. An hour later another person called me and said there was nothing they could do about the 199 fee. I said I don't care at this point how much it is, please send someone to service the furnace. At this time it was around 930 pm. At 1230 in the morning I called back as nobody has shown up. The person who answered the first time responded, said the other lady scheduled a service for the morning, and there was no longer anyone who could come out tonight. They were totally unprofessional, not apologetic at all, and still wanted to charge me the 200 service fee despite jerking me and my son around. I will never do business with this company again.

I like this company. They've done plumbing for me twice and there will be a third time soon. There is a service call fee, but once they price out your jobs, they quote you a flat rate instead of billing you after the work is done with no idea of potential cost. They give you a 4-hour window to show up and complete the work. The plumber wears a mask, gloves, and shoe covers, and is courteous and professional.

Lincoln and Keith arrived early. They put on shoe covers before they entered my residence. They found the problem was a broken part in the toilet that caused the constant running water inside the tank. Then discovered a broken shut off valve. They had to shut off the main water entering the house before replacing the shut off valve behind the toilet. I'm happy with the job they did. They had parts that they needed in their van which saved time. Both technicians were polite and respectful. They were done in about an hour. .
