I had a couple of heat pump units installed in one of my properties and I was very impressed with the communication and customer service at Peppy. They do great work and they actually ended up costing me less than other options that I looked at. They helped fill out a rebate application so I was able to get hundreds off dollars back for my heat pump installation. Overall, I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again for my heating and cooling needs.

I’ve had Shane Co install a ductless unit in my house addition and I’m very happy with that. It’s been about a year and both air/heat work without me giving it another thought. I brought out the team to look at my house HVAC and they were able to diagnose an installation issue from a previous company. That unit is only 2 years old and Shane Co has made that unit more efficient and I’m looking forward to lower electric bills. I highly recommend this company.

In the fall of 2020 I decided to install a mini-split system in my garage / gym / workshop area. I did quite a bit of research on different brands on local companies for installation. Brett Shannon, owner of SHANCO Heating & Air, presented a comprehensive presentation on their product (Mitsubishi) and installation process. It was important to me that the system not only work well but that it also have a clean look inside the garage and outside where the compressor would be mounted. Brett listened to my concerns about this and was very responsive. He even arranged for his electrical sub-contractor to meet with me to go over the job prior to the install to insure it would meet my needs (Brett attended this meeting, as well). On the day of the install Brett's team was on-time and ready to go. The entire installation was done in one day with minor wrinkle that left a few small holes in the dry wall. When I spoke with Brett about this he immediately took ownership of the mistake and arranged for a dry-wall repair contractor to repair the damage at SHANSO's expense. The dry-wall guy did a good job and everything looks great. I went with the Mitsubishi mini-split cassette system that mounts flush into the ceiling. Fantastic! I highly recommend SHANCO Heating & Air. Truly professional, clear in their communication, and follow-up to insure that the client is happy. These guys are now my "go-to" Heating & Air Company.

Hello Brett I have been waiting to reply to simply take my time and word myself properly without offending anyone. I have at times, heard of bad experiences with local businesses. From time to time though I try to be fair and understanding. So as I contemplated on what to do for my small on a complete new system, I somehow came across Shanco Air and I decided to reach out and see what they had to offer. So I met with Rob the salesman, and it turned out that He was a very pleasant guy, who it turns out, I work with sweet mother. After a couple weeks and seeing my options, I finally contacted Rob and agreed to installing a complete new system. So, here's my issue, according to my contract, new ducting was supposed to be installed. After the initial assessment, it was decided that a particular connector that went to my three bedrooms was crushed and so New ducting was going to be the solution. Therefore, that's what I expected. Also in the initial talks, several registers were going to be canceled and moved because some the walls and rooms that were from the original floor plan had been removed to make my kitchen and living room one big open area. I was notified of when the work was going to be started and when it was going to be done. The day I received the phone call that it was done I was excited and thankful. The disappointment of when I got home came as a surprise to me. I walked into my house and the old registers where not canceled or shut down.Then my 2 back bedrooms were not really throwing any air, and one bedroom didn't even have AIR in it. I called Rob to let him know and the next day I met with him and showed him. He apologized and said that it was a miscommunication problem. Which I understand. So at this point with the installers where given the right instructions and I left so they could their work and not be around. Very nice guys also. Then I received a call when they finished so I came home. Now some of the work was done. I could see that some registers were closed off but I know that if they were completely canceled/, there shouldn't be any air coming through there. I know it can affect the flow to the other rooms as well as the efficiency of the system. Second, if I'm getting new duct work done, shouldn't the old stuff be removed? Well I have a picture of what was left and it's still thereI But shouldn't the old ducting be removed and replace ? I invite you to come and look at it. When I lift the covers up you can see it. And not only that but every once in a while a foul odor comes through in those bedrooms.. I'm trying to be very understanding butat the same time I'm paying $13600 for this system. Know that I'm not mad but What would you do? I hope to hear from someone and see if we can correct this, I feel I'm very understanding and I know I can reason with anyone on this . Brett, Owner, answered the call and was happy to meet me right away to help me with a Ductless HVAC system for my shop where I also have my office. The estimate was very fair and Brett gave me several options to consider. I choose a Mitsubishi unit that was rated correctly for my size shop. I signed the order with Brett using his tablet. His crew were amazing and at my location in just a couple of days. They handled everything, they hired out the electrician who was great, and also got the permits all taken care of. The installers were all great people and cared about all that they did! The unit runs fantastic and I am very happy with it. Brett later came back and helped me with an optional wireless thermostat that he programmed for me based on what I asked it to be set at. The unit also came with a remote control. Brett also helped me get a 12 month same as cash interest free loan with Wells Fargo. The level of service and their professionalism exceeded what I was expecting! The first company that I called never called me back, and I called them again and never got a call back. I am sure glad that others left positive feedback about SHANCO Heating and Air! Otherwise I still maybe waiting for someone else. I highly recommend them and will use them again if and when I need something.

They gave us an estimate of 3 days for installation and it only took 2 days. They are helping us get the Idaho power discount. If you are wary of a company having a lot of 5 star reviews more recently, don’t worry as these guys are the real deal. From the first call to the final meeting, Brett, the owner, was the point of contact through the whole process. Alex, Brett’s technician, called to give me a heads up before showing up on time and diagnosed the issue of rusted out ducting due to bad AC coils. Due to the extent of our issue and age of our units, we decided to fully replace the AC and furnace. I asked Alex to have Brett give me a good, better and best options. Brett followed up the next day with 3 option boards outlining exactly what you were getting and what you were paying for just for AC and just repair of the duct. I had many questions about mixing and matching options with a new furnace as well. He later sent me 4 option boards for AC+heater upon request. At no point in this whole process did I feel pressured to actually make a purchase. Brett answered all my questions fully via phone, email and text. I am glad I decided to do a full replace. Alex, Matt and Dustin showed up on time the day of the install which took a whole day with the duct repair as well. The quality of work was highly impressive as they cleaned up as if no one was there, they explained everything about the system to me and the fit and finish is incredibly clean. Brett came out the next day to finish connecting and testing the heater and receive the final payment. He answered any remaining questions I had without being in a hurry to leave after payment and chatted while he worked. Each time these guys showed up on time and called before to give a heads up that they were on their way. I highly recommend Brett and his team to anyone thinking of getting any HVAC work done.

My experience with this company was good. The sales manager was easy to work with and didn't try to oversell us. Installation day went well and the installers were very professional. Good company, first place I called couldn't get to me for 7-8 days... ShanCo said they could be here tomorrow, tech Alex was great, showed up a little late but called to let me know before the time window was up. Diagnosed the problem correctly, compressor was shot! Not an easy fix, came back with quotes of 2-3k even using the warranty that had a week left, so at this point I'm thinking "let's just get a whole new unit" but ShanCo came in 2nd out of 3 quotes I got so I decided to go with another guy. I do recommend making ShanCo one of the companies to call if you need service or replacement work done! Very good company in a tough industry...

We recently had Shanco come out because our air conditioner wasn't working properly. While it was a fluke issue with our air conditioner and it was actually working perfectly when they arrived (and has been perfect since), I loved how responsive they were and how quickly they were able to check things out. Shanco installed our AC and furnace a few years ago and we will continue to work with them for years to come.

Our furnace wasn't working property with hardly any warm air coming through the vents. Shanco investigated and diagnosed that the heat exchanger was cracked and recommended a replacement of the furnace. Since the A/C was very old, we decided to replace both. They had the parts in stock and came in early on the day of appointment. The installation was completed for both furnace and A/C the same day and the technicians did a great job on the installation including cleaning up everything after. I would highly recommend them for any HVAC needs.

SHANCO states that they put their customers first and they truly do. On the day of the install, the wrong furnace was sent to the job site. Brett, the owner, informed me that the correct one was not available and that they would install a unit that was available even though it was a higher- end model. In spite of the delay the job was still completed the same day and I was not asked to pay a penny more for a much more expensive unit. The installations done by Chris and Mikal were expertly done. I highly recommend SHANCO for its workmanship and for its integrity.

Called Shanco (found them via google maps) because our cooling system would not start. Brett (owner) came by after work, diagnosed the problem in about 3 minutes of arriving and fixed it. Additionally installed a new thermostat that I had purchased in less that 20 minutes and charged a very very reasonable price. Very polite andJu to work with. Would highly recommend Shanco HVAC. Update: July 29, 2022. After 12 days of 100 degree weather, the capacitor in our outside compressor failed. SHANCO was able to get Alex here same day and got us up and running in 30 minutes. He considered any other issues that might cause any near future outages and reviewed them to eliminate those concerns. I would recommend SHANCO HVAC for any HVAC needs.

Shanco initially installed a mini-split system in our room addition. They were very thorough with the install and tidiness. Later they came back and replaced the motor that was faulty and did a fantastic job. To expedite the motor issue, Scott had me send him a video text of the motor making an unusual noise. Within 10 minutes Scott had already ordered the part and had it installed within a week. I am recommending my neighbor to have Shanco install his min-split. Bravo Shanco!

Wouldn't you know it, our furnace wouldn't heat on the coldest day of of the year (so far). I've used Jim's and Western in the past, but wanted to use a less expensive, more local family-owned company. My friends suggested Shanco. Doing my research, they have a whopping 300+ superior reviews on Google, Angie's, HomeAdvisor and they also had several neighbor recommendations on my go-to Nextdoor phone app. Shanco had 5 star user reviews for not just repairs and service, but also for complete new HVAC system installations. I chose Shanco. I had no heat and it was the weekend (of course) but not an emergency, so I called Shanco to request weekday service, then turned on a couple space heaters.. Shanco called first thing Monday morning and come out that afternoon The specialist (Alex) did the diagnosis, found the 2 problems (one was the insulation on the thermostat wires was worn off so intermittently shorting out the controls). I was back on line in no time, and Alex then checked out the HVAC system for me to ensure proper operation, not just for the heater but the AC as well. I have a heat pump as the primary heating source but although it's very economical to use, it takes hours to get the home up to temp in the morning. He set up the controller to bypass the heat pump so that the gas heater is now our primary source, a much faster heating option for me! I am very satisfied with Shanco's excellent service, technical expertise, and their follow-up efforts to ensure I'm a happy customer. My total bill was only $65, great news since it was $25 cheaper than other providers, and best of all, that service call charge is applied to the repairs. There was no added up-charges and no up-selling of needless annual tuneups.. If you choose SHANCO HVAC, you can be a happy customer as well.

We hired SHANCO to install a new furnace and new AC unit. We selected SHANCO over the other companies we sought bids from for a few reasons. 1. Brett was more than willing to provide us with numerous options that allowed us to pick what was best. When it was all said and done he provided us with at least five options where all other competitors only provided us with two even after we told them directly that we wanted options on units. The options we were given ranged from competitive with other vendors to top of the line units. 2. We wanted an AC unit that could fit on the side of our house without encroaching on our path way. SHANCO was one of two companies that even provided us with a side discharge AC unit as an option. 3. We have an older house that had a little bit of awkwardness with the routing of the duct work. The crew at SHANCO was able to keep our furnace in the same spot (even including the addition of the evaporator coil) with hooked up to our existing duct/vent system. We had other bids that would have required us to move the furnace location. I cannot recommend SHANCO enough. The fact that Brett was willing to work with us, gave us options to choose from, and the professionalism of both him and his crew are enough to put him over the top.

Brett first gave me an estimate on a new HVAC system about two years ago. He came highly recommended from a friend who had retired from his own HVAC company in Spokane, no his experience in the subject matter I scheduled a consult with Shanco. I asked a local friend for a recommendation for HVAC/Heating work and was given Shanco. From the first call I knew i was talking to the right company. While dealing with a Local Family run business is important to me, I will be honest, I just wanted my house warmer as quickly as possible. With Shanco I got both, Local Business with a job completed within days of first call. Had a great experience with SHANCO. Dustin was my repairman. From start to finish they were up front with their pricing, had a $65 diagnostics rate (which is the cheapest i could find in the valley after calling more than 10 places), which then rolled into the actual cost of the repair. Dustin insisted on repairing the system in the most cost effective way before giving me the more robust options. The 5 options for repair/upkeep were nice to have, it allowed me to learn about my system and how i could upkeep it on my own and what cost may come if i didn't.
