We used this company to install new units at our office building. So incredibly easy to work with. So nice. Have come out several times to help us get all situated. Very appreciated that they stand by their work and WANT to make sure we had a good experience. I could not be happier with the quality of the product, their responsiveness, the professionalism of their staff, and the felling of being treated like an old friend, not just a "customer". I've had several other friends who have used Ashley for new HVAC systems and they have had exactly the same quality experience. Further, you don't pay extra for these things - I priced a competitor who was $4,000 more for a comparable system.

Every person I dealt with at Ashley Heating Air & Water Systems, from the emergency on-call person, to the sales rep, to the installers, were very knowledgeable, professional, polite and easy to deal with. We called Ashley heating and air conditioning for a second opinion on a malfunctioning air conditioner. Daniel, our technician, was professional and very knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem with our AC unit in a couple hours. It was literally 1/20 the cost of our prior quote. The other company would have needlessly replaced several parts without fixing the problem. I will definitely use them again for any heating or air conditioning needs

Colton with Ashley Heating & Air went above and beyond in fully sealing our HVAC ducts, properly hanging the ducting every four feet, and thoroughly sealing the return ducting where it was poorly sealed prior. He used an adhesive that was exactly what was needed to ensure no air gaps existed over new tape. Colton was polite, professional, and didn’t cut corners in hanging the ducting that was not properly strapped, crawling back under the crawl space I’ve personally witnessed other contractors avoid the hassle of crawling back into. He also found a major leak point behind the furnace and got it fully, properly sealed. I could visually inspect every area and saw it was resealed and adhesive covered where necessary so I now know the system will perform as intended efficiently. Lastly, I called three other companies to perform this type of job and the three prior companies provided substandard excuses or quoted insane prices to avoid the job. Boise is a hot market for construction and any mechanical work so I understand why some companies will avoid smaller jobs to focus on maximized profit. I can say Ashley Heating & Air does a high quality job at affordable pricing and won’t ignore the detail work every homeowner should be attending to and I won’t forget that the next time I need to pick up the phone for contracted HVAC work. I’m adding them to my contact list.

We have been using Ashley Heating for years! They are reliable and if there is an issue they really do their best to get out to fix it within a day. I recently had our AC serviced and after just a couple weeks the downstairs unit was not working. Daniel at Ashley Heating came the next day and fixed the issue quite quick—working 15 minutes! We needed to replace our 19 year old AC Carrier compressor. We have had Ashley Heating Air and Water Systems maintenance service plan for at least twenty years. Herb Heppner was most helpful when the AC went “out” during our run of 106 degree temperatures. He looked at their work schedule each day to see when the time for our replacement could be fit in. Herb called me each day with an update. Herb carried a portable AC unit up to the master bedroom and set it up for our “survival”. Thank you Herb for your after hour help.

UPDATE: So it's been a few months since Ashley did the work for us. They come out after a few months to just check things so we made an appointment. Once again, a service guy named Daniel showed up on time! Took him about 45 minutes to check things and everything is fine. I asked Daniel where the best place to buy filters is as we had just used the last of ours about 2 weeks before. He gave me some ideas and left. Later I went out the front door to find he left 2 filters at the door. Again, these guys are on time, stick to a schedule, sell good products and as a bonus are just nice people. Thank you!

Daniel did a good job getting our system ready for summer. He located a weak capacitor and recommended replacing it. He quoted $299 for the part. The part itself cost $10 and it looked like about 10 minutes of work to get to the part. I passed on that expense and will do it myself. Otherwise, very satisfied with the visit.

Met Daniel at our first service call in July 2021. He performed the a/c service and was very thorough with cleaning our a/c's condenser coils. He explained the benefits of prepaying for four services, a/c and furnace, so I did. Used his furnace services last fall. And had him service the a/c today. I heard a funny noise in my furnace that sounded like a bearing was going out. Ashley Heating said they could be out tomorrow between 9am and 11am. Well, they showed up at 9am, the front end of the estimate. That was great! They could have replaced parts knowing that's what I suspected was wrong, but instead they tested the part, said it was fine and just gave it an oiling. The did continue with a complete tune up as well. On time, in and out quickly, thorough work and reasonably priced. These are the kinds of locally owned businesses I like to use.

Ashley heating and air has been great for us. Last year our AC had gone out and so I went out to find some to let me know what was going on, as well to see if we could fix it. Due to money was tight with us just having our first child. Three of the four companies said no repair could be done. But Ashley came out and was able to find a fix. They didn’t promise it would last long but said it was a quick fix. It was exactly what we need for last year and yes it only lasted the year but put us in a better spot. So they were the first ones I called when the AC went out again as I was trying to test it out before it got too hot. Dane was our rep that came out and he was amazing to talk with and heard our needs. We were able to get it in within three days of us starting the process. Mike and Zak were are techs that came and installed our system. They were very respectful and made sure we understood everything that they had done. I certainly would have my friends and family use Ashley!

We’ve used Ashley for years and they’ve always been great but this most recent experience led me to post a 5 star review. Water heater died yesterday morning...repair tech was here within an hour of the call who reported to us it was dead. Then the person to provide an estimate to replace it was here 2 hours after that. And 25 hours after we first called them, they were here to replace our 75 gallon tank. Hot water restored in about 26 hours. Everyone we ever deal with there is always super professional, helpful, etc. Happy to continue to give them my business!

When my 22 years old furnace went out in the middle of winter I called Ashley for a repair. The repair person, Bob, arrived quickly. Not surprisingly, Bob let me know the furnace had exhausted its life and a sales rep was quickly went out to discuss options. I elected to also have the AC and water heaters replaced as they were also original to the house and at the end of their lives. I feel like I received a fair price by bundling all three together. The sales rep, Dane. was friendly and knowledge and gave me options for equipment and payment methods. He also lent us some space heaters to get us through the weekend, which was very much appreciated. Installation went very smooth. All pieces of equipment were installed and inspected by the city in about six hours. The technicians, Zack and Colton, were professional and friendly and walked us through the features and operation of the equipment. Overall, I’m very pleased with the service, speed, and quality of the work and equipment provided by Ashley and would highly recommend them. I’m hoping this equipment lasts another 20+ years.

We waited too long and when the heat came, the A/C crashed - like we knew it would. Ashley has been a staple in the treasure valley and I knew we could trust them to take care of us. And they did, in stellar fashion. The tech was there right away and confirmed that our system had blown it's last puff of air. Rick arrived, surveyed the situation, listened to us as we told him what we wanted and then made some suggestions based upon our home and our wants. He nailed it! Even with the supply chain issues everyone is having, they got us up and running quickly. They finished the job with some of the upgrades we asked for a little later. The crew from Ashley came out that night, brought us portable ac units to cool our house and had our compressor/condenser unit replaced the following week. We decided to go with them because they were knowledgeable and professional and the price was what we we expecting considering we needed to have our home zoned and they also installed a reionater water conditioner. The job was a cleaning of a dryer vent. I also requested that the service technician remove lint accumulation from inside the dryer housing. Though this inside-the-appliance cleaning was beyond the scope of a normal vent service call, the technician gladly accommodated my request even though it proved difficult to remove the front panel of the dryer. I was impressed by the good-natured persistence of the technician and by his general customer service orientation. WE ARE EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH ASHLEY HEATING AND AIR! As new homeowners my husband and I were lost on how to get our furnace ready for the Winter season. We initially planned to use Western Heating and Air because the former owners had used them and they knew our house. They weren't going to be able to look at it for at least 5 weeks. We contacted Ashley instead and they were able to get someone out by the end of the week. He checked it out and changed the filter (that apparently hadn't been changed for some time - Thanks Western.) It was making funky sounds so we called them back and they came first thing the next week. Turns out our pump was bad as well as our motor. After many trips down to our spider filled crawl space, the maintenance guys at Ashley fixed the problem and at a reasonable price. They told us that our furnace was likely not serviced for years because the folks at Western weren't actually getting in the crawl space despite their records demonstrating it had been checked out. With all being said and done now, we are grateful we ended up choosing Ashley heating and air. They had wonderful customer service for scheduling and were upfront about pricing. I had ashley clean my heater ducts. Overall a positive experience. Two minor issues. First tech accidentally left empty bottle of disinfectant (cap still on) on my kitchen floor. It was next to my trash can which was overflowing. I discovered it by accident and tossed it. Glad my 3yr old didn't find it first. She was at preschool so I had half the day to find it. Second I checked all the vents later in the day and they looked nice and clean. The vent that had the suction attached to had a ball, a smooth rock and pin in it. I reached in and removed them. I would recommend checking the vent after the heater is turned back on to check for items that might have been missed or that fell out of the vacuum. I would likely have you clean my ducts again. I interact with Ashley techs frequently at work. Always friendly and helpful Edit : After a few days it became clear the amount of air getting pushed through the ducts has greatly increased. Huge improvement

It's noteworthy to mention that Ahsley's excellent service tonight occurred 'after' waiting all day (ten full hours) for one of Boise's supposed top rated heating/air companies. I share this not mentioning the other companies name as to trash them, but rather to save you time and just go directly to Ashley's for what you need. Serious! I am so very happy with Ashely Heating and Air. I had trouble with my AC unit in the fall. Another Tech told me that the unit needed to be replaced. Since it was getting cold I decided to wait. I called Ashley to come out and look at it this week. The Technician from Ashley told me the short was caused by a faulty wire. Probably a manufacturer issue. He replaced the wire and the unit is fine. So nice to have a reputable company "fix" the problem and not try to sell me a new unit. In my mind, waiting until now and using Ashley Heating and Air saved me thousands of dollars. I won't call anyone else for service in the future!!
