I am very happy and satisfied with the service Joe Reyes provided today from Advanced Heating and Cooling. I was having issues with 2 bedrooms reading 61 degrees while the rest of the house was set at 68 degrees. Joe knowledge and experience was able to fix the issue and get the room temperature back to 68 degrees making it more comfortable to sleep at night. Joe did a thorough inspection on the furnace unit taking the time to make sure everything was working properly. Finally his customer service and kindness was one of best I've experienced in a while, he was polite and explained what he was doing each step of the way and gave me pointers on how to adjust the airflow. I would truly recommend Joe Meyes to friends and family members.

My relationship with Advanced began in the 2011/2012 time frame when, having moved to the Homedale area in 2010 and not knowing any companies, I purchased a Groupon deal to have them come service our Heat Pump system. From there the relationship grew when the heat pump died in the winter leaving us with no heat for the weekend. Advance installed a new one and updated a few other components at the same time. The technician they had then was awesome, and he was the one who regularly serviced the system twice a year until a couple of years ago when he left their company. The other techs who came out were always friendly and professional. Why the 3-star rating? Well, after our spring service this year, I asked to renew the agreement for the upcoming new cycle and was told I needed to call the office. Upon doing so, I was left speechless. After years of being a customer, they wanted to raise the price from $158 to $600/year. I would have expected a slight increase, but the $600 was something I just couldn't handle. I did send a note to the company thanking them for doing a good job all these years and informed them that I couldn't believe what they wanted to charge us for future work. I received no response. I would like to think that if you live closer to the Boise/Meridian area, you'll have much better luck at pricing, and should receive the service we had grown accustomed to. We simply had no choice but to find someone else with more reasonable pricing for our needs, which as of today, we did.

Love this company! Daniel was great! He tested the system about 5 times to make sure it was working. We somehow have a wasp nest in one of our vents. He tried and hopefully was successful in clearing it out. Thanks Daniel!

Update 2020: Our furnace went out at 6pm tonight and within about an hour of calling Josh (on call for the night) he was at our house and ready to troubleshoot the issue. He was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and patient with my questions. We really appreciate everything Advanced and their team has done to keep our older units moving along. Continue to highly recommend! I will always highly recommend Advanced Heating and Cooling to others. We have been working with them for the past 4 years for both our furnace and air conditioning maintenance. Everyone I've worked with has been incredibly professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We have used Advanced Heating and Cooling since we replaced our furnace and A/C in 2012. They gave us the best price for our replacement and have provided great service to us ever since, even when we had some problems with our new unit (not their fault). We didn’t pay any extra money and they kept working on it until all problems were fixed. We are currently on a service plan and we love that they keep track of when service is needed and contact us to schedule. Apollo usually does our service and he is professional, friendly, and thorough. We feel really comfortable having him in our house. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Advanced Heating and Cooling.

Advanced Heating and Cooling had worked on my furnace in 2008 and did an excellent job. Using the contact information on the furnace, I put a call into Advanced Heating and Cooling before business hours on a Monday morning and left a voice message regarding my residential air conditioner(25+ years old). I received a call back within the hour by technician Apollo. He discussed my issue and advised that the office staff would contact me and schedule an appointment. Within an hour, I had an appointment for the next morning scheduled. This was amazing, considering the 90+ degree temperatures for weeks in Southwest ID. The office staff had all of my information from 2008 which made the process simple. Apollo called me, as stated, the next morning advising that he was 15 minutes from arrival. Apollo is very professional, genuinely concerned and very knowledgeable. After a brief discussion, he went to work and had my AC up and running within an hour! We spent more time discussing the system and what it will take to upgrade if my 25 year old system fails in the next weeks etc. No sales pressure. Apollo and staff are very simply professional, competent, quick to respond and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Advanced Heating and Cooling!

Eric B was extremely helpful. He came to do maintenance, and he walked me through the setup of my furnace and showed me what he was looking for, showed me the areas to monitor for the future, and how to do a quick diagnosis of my furnace if I run into issues in the future, and even how to change out a few parts myself and maybe save some money on a service call for a simple fix. Will definitely request him again for any future repairs. Advanced also set up a new furnace in our previous house, and they did a *fantastic* job, the ducting and installation was so much cleaner and better organized than our older furnace. We've really had good experiences with them.

Eric his crew came out today and installed a dual zone mini-split HVAC system in my garage today. They did a GREAT job. I am very detail oriented, and picky. They worked like they were doing it for their own home. Brian, Christian, and Dan did the install. Very skilled and very professional. I bought the heater/ac service from a card I got in the mail. It was a good price! Apollo came out in the winter to service the heater and did an excellent job. He even looked at my fireplace that I was having issues with. He also did my AC check this morning. Apollo is super friendly and didn't try to sell me items I didn't need. I will always use advanced heating and cooling! They even reminded me it was time for my AC check. When they couldn't reach me by phone to schedule my summer check because I changed my number they sent an email and letter to the house. Our AC went out today. 108° outside. I called Advanced Heating and Air because I know they are honest reliable and they have integrity. They weren't able to get me in for two days. Great experience with these guys. Twice. We bought our home in July 2014 and immediately had someone install some gas piping for our stove. What we didn't know was that the contractor crushed our HVAC Ductwork under the house while installing the piping. After a miserable afternoon with no A/C, we called Advanced. They showed up, inspected the crawl space and told us the duct work situation. The service tech said you could clearly see that the piping guy crushed it and that we should call them back to fix it. We did, and it got fixed. I was very impressed with the honesty that the tech displayed. He could have easily chalked it up to "old duct work needs to be replaced" and we would have been none the wiser. But instead, he saved us a ton of money! This week, our water heater went out and Advanced was able to hook us up with a new unit in no time. I appreciate the service this company has provided to me and my family and recommend them to you and yours. Thank you for doing things the right way guys!

We had a tenant call us late in the day, 4:45 P.M, indicating the heat wasn't working. We called Advanced Heating and Cooling and were forwarded to an afterhours number that had a full mailbox, that we tried a few times. My husband had a contact Alex that he said really helped him out with our last issue so he called Alex. Immediately Alex jumped on the task and went out to the tenants house after hours and stayed late until the problem was resolved. He stayed in contact with my husband over the phone the next few hours until the job was complete. Heat is an important element this time of year (regardless if it fails during business hours) and Alex is the reason we will stay with Advanced Heating and Cooling for all of our product and service needs and Alex just cemented that business from us tonight. "Great Customer Service" Alex came out today and put in a new Control Board and Modulating Gas Value Replacement kit. Parts were covered by their excellent warranty on furnaces they sell and install. Alex did one fine job and was all done and on his way within a couple of hours. This company is the best and I would highly recommend them for your Heating and Cooling needs.

I have had annual service contracts with Advanced Heating for years. Sometimes I get the same service person, but most often it's someone different. They have all been very professional and efficient while working in my house, the few minor repairs that have been necessary have been taken care of quickly and with full explanation. They call in advance to let you know when they will arrive. Can't ask more than that. Apollo was the most recent technician who serviced my units today. Very professional and courteous. Will continue to use them after I sell this place and move into another.

I called Advanced this morning because our furnace could not keep up with the December temperatures, and our house was COLD. I was worried that our 12 year-old furnace finally needed replaced. I was relieved to be told someone could come today between 4 & 6 PM. By 2:30 I was offered an earlier slot and gladly accepted. Apollo arrived soon after the call and was able to quickly diagnose and fix a simple problem with our furnace. I know nothing about HVAC stuff and could have easily been convinced that we needed to purchase a whole new furnace or have an expensive repair done. Instead my furnace was fixed in about 25 minutes and all I paid for was a tune up. Apollo was very friendly, and even took the time to show me how to fix the simple problem on my own next time! I am very pleased with the service I received and will definitely be using these guys for future tune-ups and repairs.

I would highly recommend Advanced Heating and Cooling. They charge a $79 diagnostic fee but if there is a repair, they apply that towards it. The company was very efficient in getting me scheduled promptly. Eric was my service guy, he was awesome. He took his time in figuring out what the problem was with my furnace. Couldn't be happier or have a better set of guys helping me out in giving me the 25 point furnace check up than Alex G. and Steven. From meeting these two guys at my front door, I had a feeling they'd do everything they could to make sure my furnace kept up in good shape. Alex found out that my dual-stage furnace had only been used in a single-stage capacity, so he asked if I wanted to adjust the settings for a more energy efficient and cost saving option. We had an odd request to tidy up some insulation around our furnace/transition ducks in our crawl space that was left in chaos from a previous vendor that installed our furnace. Advanced Heating was able to work with us effectively via email/phone to quote the job, were on time (actually early), friendly and prices were reasonable. In fact, the original company that left the mess not only wouldn't fix the issue as part of the original job but quoted us 5 times what Advanced Heating did to deal with it. In the end, Advanced were honest and ended up charging less than the quote since it wasn't as bad as they thought. I would definitely work with them again.

Advanced Heating installed a furnace and air conditioner for us in 2010, and we have been faithful customers ever since. Their twice-yearly appliance checkup service gives us great peace of mind. This year, Eric Barajas, who has been taking care of us most recently, advised us that some parts in our air conditioner were showing signs of wear, and we elected to replace them to prevent a system failure. When Eric came back to perform the preventive maintenance, he also went down in our crawl space to determine why our condensation line wasn't draining, identified the problem and fixed it at no additional charge. It's that kind of customer service that maintains our customer loyalty! :-)

I bought an older 2 story home that had a very inefficient HVAC system. I had AH&C come in and zone my home which lowered my monthly gas and electric bills considerably. When my old AC finally died they replaced my entire HVAC system at a very reasonable price. I have used Josh as my service tech for over 10 years. He goes above and beyond to help me with my greenhouse heating system as well as my home system. Angie, in the office, is always on top if everything when I call with a question or to schedule maintenance. I have been very happy with AH&C.

I have dealt with this company for 18 years and they have always come through for me! It started with the initial purchase of my new home. I had a problem and they fixed it immediately. Every other subcontractor was difficult with any problems that arose but Advanced fixed a major problem and they did it with a great attitude. I'll always remember that. Eighteen years later they are giving me a 2nd opinion (for free) when another company in town told me I needed $2600 worth of furnace and air conditioning repairs. What did Advanced say? Had a capacitor go out when it was 100+ degrees out and had no cold air coming through the vents. Called Advanced and they had someone out within an hour. The issue was resolved within 15min and my AC is now working great. The technician even threw in a few filters since mine was in horrible condition. I had an issue with my furnace occasionally not turning on and decided to try Advanced Heating and Cooling and I am so glad I did. I never write reviews but when company’s are this good they deserve praise. Eric is not some employee hired by a big company that knows nothing about furnaces. He KNOWS what he is doing. He is a true professional in his field and took the time to explain what was going on and even a little history on my particular furnace. He didn’t run me through the cleaners when he discovered it was an easy fix. Eric was honest, friendly and dependable. I would call him now if you’re having issues.

Alex just now left my house after repairing my furnace - no heat when it's 27 degrees outside (and 55 degrees inside) is not fun. Very pleasant and professional; got the job done - thank you Alex! I read the other reviews on Advanced and they're kind of all over the map, but my use of Advanced a few times over the years has always been a positive one. Additionally, I share the same sentiments about Alex that another reviewer mentioned of another one of their repair people and that is he didn't seem to mind that I stood in the garage and watched him work and asked questions. I do that only because of other companies not doing the work right, so now unfortunately for ALL companies, I do that as a general rule. But yeah...I'll call them again for sure.

A few years ago my furnace had stopped working. After two years if very little heat in the house, we had saved up what we thought would be enough to replace the furnace. We called Advanced Heating and Cooling and the tech was able to fix our furnace for 75$. We were so happy. This year, in a new house our air conditioner began to fail. We called Advance again and they booked us within a day.

Loving this company right now! Have used several times now and never been disappointing. Last week asked them to replace a house full of old failing equipment, including two furnaces, AC, humidifier and water heater. They gave me a great quote compared to another company (using the same hardware) and they turned around and installed the next day because I was leaving town. They had three crews come out and get everything hammered out in ~5 hours! Eric B. handled everything, from coming out to assess the house and pull the quote together, through the finishing touches of ensuring the filter setup was all ready to go. Fantastic, professional, personalized service. Dawn from the office called and coordinated with me (and Eric) all the inspection and follow up to make sure everything was wrapped up to my satisfaction. Honestly can't think of how Advanced could have done better.

Advanced saved the day! First over 90 degree day and our air conditioner quit. I called at 6:00 pm and Apollo fit us into his already packed schedule that night. I contacted Advanced Heating & Cooling to perform a winter 25 point checkup of our two furnaces. I was offered a variety of times and dates for my appointment by a very friendly lady on the phone. I was told that the technician would call 30 minutes prior to arriving. The morning of my appointment, Apollo (my service tech), called me to let me know that he would be arriving in approx. 30 minutes. He arrived on time, introduced himself and listened to my concerns. He promptly began performing all the duties of the safety check as well as changing my filters (which the past HVAC company DID NOT do). He diagnosed what my problem was and corrected it and then checked to make sure that everything was working properly. Apollo was great!! Not only will I call them for my spring checkup, but would be happy to refer them to anyone wanting an honest, reasonable HVAC company.

What an integral and moral company. I had an air conditioner problem and it was extremely difficult to solve. My technician, Josh, did not give up until her solved the issue. He readily could have said the system was shot after trying four times to determine the problem. He could have easily sold me a new one because as a layman I didn't know what else to do. He found a problem not in any manual. Wires had rubbed against metal and in an unknown area caused exposure and then a short. Unless he had pulled the wires apart and inspected each one, the short never would have been discovered. I would have been none the wiser and buying a new system. He then completely cleaned my air conditioner while showing me how to do it in the future. He suggested a schedule and was on his way in a quick time. I waited only 4 days during the busiest time of the year and I would definitely do it again. They have earned a customer for life and I'll wait however long it takes; they're worth it and beat other companies' timetables for service. Thank you for integral, professional, timely, expert service.

I'm a contractor and I know that dealing with customers and contractor's isn't always the easiest thing to do. Alex serviced my AC unit and fixed the problem that I was having. In 100 degrees weather our air conditioner quit. We have had a bad experiences with a different company last year so I was nervous calling another company. My tankless gas water heater was not working. Advanced guys came the same day I called, within 3 hours of calling to schedule an appt. Alex and Richard were great. They hadn't worked on this brand, but were able to diagnose and fix the problem in 15 minutes. They didn't even charge me for the service... The reason we use Advanced is because last Summer when our air conditioner went out, they came out that day! When I called another service first, they told me it was going to be another week before they could get out to me. This Summer our air conditioner wasn't blowing cold air, so Apollo came out. Granted, they were slammed that day. My appointment was between 4pm and 7pm, but he didn't get there until almost 8:30pm, but the fact that he still came out was great! He had our air conditioner working in no time! Apollo was quick and efficient! We most likely will need to replace our a/c unit next Summer, it's been almost 20 years, but we'll be making that purchase with Advanced!!

I had my heating ducts cleaned last week and was told that I had mold. I called Advanced because, frankly, I did not know who else to call. They came out to give me some insight. They sent Apollo, who has been to my house before. He made numerous phone calls for me and gave me the number of the company they usually deal with. He told me about their program to keep up on my air conditioner and furnace and got me hooked up with the program. He also changed my air filter.....This company cares about their customers, they hire good people who come across as fair minded and give good advise....I am a customer for life....:)

Eric came out and serviced my system. He brought to my attention that I had an Igniter that was losing power as the system is 12 years old. Said it should be fine for this upcoming year, also the inducer motor was making noise when the system would fire up. Due to the age it had a bearing going out. Also let me know, I should be good for the year, but might be an issue. Eric said not to worry we will be out if your system doesn’t fire up, those would be the two reasons. He didn’t try to push me to have it done this week when he came out, just giving me a heads up. I had him go ahead and come back out to change out those issues that at some point would fail. Its nice to know that I was given honest feedback and let me make my mind up on what I should do. Also, he was able to quickly fix why our evaporator was not working as well. I was first working with another local company out of the area and had a feeling that what they were telling me wasn't completely true. In a bit of a panic I called Advanced Heating & Cooling, after normal work hours, to see if they could provide some input over the phone (they should have been my first call). Apollo picked up the phone and asked some pointed questions about the issue and we both came to the conclusion that the other information I was getting seemed a bit farfetched. Apollo was so helpful on the phone and said he could be at my place in 30 minutes. He showed up and diagnosed the issue, which was completely different than what the other company said. He was able to get my heat up and running the same night and then came back the next day once he had a more permanent solution as he needed a specific part that wasn't on his truck. The best part was the total cost was 1/7th of what the other company quoted. I was shocked. I'll be working with Apollo and Advanced Heating and Cooling on all future projects with my rental properties and primary residence. Highly recommended!

We had an ongoing issue with our multi-zoned system (heat pumps w/both electric & propane fuel sources and two separate air/heating units). The system was not switching over to propane when the weather temperature required it to do so. Winter of 2016 was over the top. We tried to solve the issue with another local company (we won't name them) but will only say they could not get it right and it's clear now they did not know what they were doing. We were told by the company manager that the temperature outside would need to be above 72 degrees before they could properly test our system to confirm their work had in fact solved our heating issue. This of course turned out to be wrong. We finally got it right when Advanced Heating showed up. The staff was very pleasant to work with (thank you Angie) and the Tech they sent knew what he was doing. He RE-DID a multitude of work we were charged for by the other firm out of Caldwell. He properly re-installed and setup six new Venstar WI-FI wireless thermostats that the other company completely got wrong... and he did all six in less than 90 minutes. The tech from Advanced found a broken wire to one of the heat pumps in our sub-attic. He properly wired the Honeywell main controller that the other company bungled. The wiring was re-done very neat and clean. We don't generally leave reviews for anybody- good or bad. But we were so happy to get our system right, we felt compelled to do so. If your looking for a Heating & Air Company that knows their stuff. Advanced is the one. They made it happen for us. Don't think twice. Their very good.

Great company to do business with. First thing that impressed me was them coming out on Saturday. The tech was able to diagnose the problem in about five minutes. It was a pretty cheap part and he didn't try to sell me on anything more then I needed. The tech(Ben) was a really nice fair guy and even worked with me on the price. 2 year old AC on new home (with one summer on it) stopped on a Friday 5/30 15, called and tech came out Saturday afternoon, not bad considering the heat wave had just started and they had to be swamped. Figured calling Friday would at least get me on the list for maybe Monday. Tech Dustin V. came out, found a lose connector that wasn't tightened down that had a so sloooow leaking problem most likely since the new construction install but it got us through our first and only summer. I couldn't complain as within the hour we had AC again. Dustin did a great job for us, i never said a word that I felt the lose connector probably wasn't tightened properly on their new install, all I cared about was Dustin had us back up and running... We just received the bill 2 weeks later in the mail, it was fare... Over all, on this one, Advanced did a good job for us... Good job Dustin!
