Tom provided exceptional service. We originally called Tom to ask for a quote on a new heater. He was able to come to our house the same day we called. Tom asked us a few questions, looked at our system and duct work and then told us he would be happy to provide a quote for a new heater but he had time to inspect and fix our current one (only four years old). Tom fixed our heater within an hour and ensured us that our heater was fine for many years but he would be happy to give us a quote for a new system if that's what we wanted. Beware of other highly rated companies on Google and Home Advisor, their reviews are false (three times and they never completely fixed our problem and tried to sell us a new heater). Thankfully we called Superior this time, we will only call Tom from now on!

The blower went out on my furnace on Friday night... go-figure. I lost loyalty with my previous mechanical shop and was in the market for a new company. I was surprised to find Superior Heating had a five star rating, which I don't believe I've seen before with any other company in any business and with over 100 reviews... Impressive. Even better, when I called over the weekend, Tom (the owner) answered and was just wrapping another call. He told me they have a higher rate for late night and weekend calls. I accepted the rate and he was over in 30 minutes. After brief diagnostic work, he spec'd the problem as a engine for the blower. He was able to secure a replacement part by calling his supplier, who also came in on the weekend. He laid out the remaining work, the price for the part before proceeding. Not getting surprised for repairs is great. Tom got the blower working again, explained the google guarantee (news to me) and gave me a 10% veteran break on the diagnostic work. All in all, Tom was professional, worked efficiently and keep me looped in through the whole process. I think I found my new mechanic.

My furnace stopped working and I called Tom on Monday morning. An hour later he was out at my place to take a look at the problem. He discussed my options and I decided it was best to get a new furnace. By the next day he had tracked down the new unit and all the required parts. Our AC stopped working late on a Saturday night. It was going to be very hot the following day so we called Tom first thing in the morning to ask him to stop by on Monday if we could. Tom showed up Sunday afternoon ready to fix whatever the problem was. It just happened to be that my wife unplugged the condensation pump while vacuuming downstairs. Our air conditioning unit was absolutely ruined in the hail storm that ripped thru Shepherd. I called Tom for the diagnostics that the insurance company required and he was able to come out the same day to perform the test. The cost of the replacement was covered by the insurance and he was able to install our new unit within a week. He did quality work and was able to get me a better replacement. I reccomend Superior Heating to anyone that appreciates quality, expects professionalism, and looking for someone that takes pride in the work they do. Our natural gas boiler heater went out. Not every plumbing and/or heating-cooling company in Billings works on boiler heaters. I spoke to Tom Search, owner, this morning about 9 am. He was at our house at 12 pm (noon) and within the hour had fixed our unit and cleaned the burners, all for a very reasonable price. He's a nice man, knowledgeable, and offers fair pricing. Woke up to a cold house, because furnace wasn't working. Called Tom at Superior at 5:50am. Tom returned my call in minutes. I described my problem with my furnace and he felt sure he could fix it this morning. Tom said he had a few calls but could be there between 7:00 and 8:00, and what his standard service call would cost.Tom called me at 7:57 and told me he was about 10 minutes away. Tom had the problem solved and I had heat in less than 20 minutes from his call. I asked him to look my furnace over and tell me if I needed anything. Said the furnace looked good, and said I needed an igniter. Told me what my total cost would be and asked me if I was good with the cost and did I want him to install the new ignter. Courteous, knowledgeable and quick. Would recommend Tom/Superior to anyone looking for repairs or even an install of a new unit.

Called me 45 minutes early for a heads up and was on the job on time. Had to take the burner out to fix and he had the parts. Had heat in about a half an hour. Also does electrical and AC.
