Our Furnace decided to let us down in the middle of February while the temperature were frigid. The part that needed to be replace was at least8 weeks on back order if not more. So I decided to replace the entire furnace an amazing which was approaching its end of life anyway, plus I have a little one at home and I am a brain cancer patient on an experimental deice which doesn't work well in cold temps. what company!!!...fantastic experience all the way around from Glenn Hoffacker (comfort consultant) who come to our place to assess what will be needed. He was an amazing, clearly very experienced gentleman. I am so glad they send him. He worked with me on pricing. Their prices are very competitive. Ask for him if you are able. work schedule for next day. Dave and Jason were here and get us up and running in few hours. They were amazing. They rolled out a carpet from the front door all the way to the furnace cabinet. They did a great job and left the place spotless. Their support service (Lesley , Gina) were very helpful as well. Thank you a thousand time.

Presidential does it’s best to treat their customer as if they were the President- or at least someone respected and cared about. Over the past 10 years we have learned to rely on them for excellent work, good advice and good value. This would be a five star review but for some unexpected delay in installing a new AC system for part of our house. The delay was surely a supply-chain issue which might have been foreseeable, but even at that, they furnished an “emergency” window unit without cost which worked reasonably well. We highly recommend

I had a new heat pump installed. The service was excellent. After your installation I received a comment from an electrician putting in a new breaker for my new ovens. He mentioned that the breaker your electrician (for my heat pump) was meticulously installed . He said he rarely sees such a professional job. We had our winter system check today and received an email mail when our technician was on his way, which was on time. Simon was great and has serviced our system a few times before so it was great to have the same experienced person. Simon was thorough and explained what he was doing as he did it. Reports are all done electronically. We have also had an emergency in the past and they were great with a quick response and repair.

Gina answered the phone and set up my appointment, and then called back to say they could come earlier! She is so nice! And the technician, Tommy, oh my goodness what a great guy and quite comical! And my dog absolutely adored him, so what more can I say! He figured out the problem within seconds, and had us up and running within the hour. Our furnace failed after a very cold stretch in December. Presidential team members were response, professional, and courteous throughout the process of assessing our furnace, providing an estimate for replacement, and installing the replacement. Glenn H was very thorough in presenting us with replacement options, and helped us determine the best option for our home and family (not the most expensive). He also visited during installation to ensure everything went well. Jason and Marvin installed our furnace and they were both skilled and professional, ensuring that we knew how to operate our new thermostat before they left.

I've been with Presidential since they replaced my 21 year old HVAC in 2016. They had the most competitive estimate with the best equipment. Since then I've been on their maintenance plan, which is a very good value. While I've pretty much only used it for the biannual maintenance, there have been 1 or 2 issues that have come up with the system. They sent a tech out the same day and when a part was needed, they sent the same tech back out to repair it, keeping the experience the same. All in all, they're a great HVAC company and I'm very happy with the services I've received from them over the years. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to replace an aging system or needing maintenance on an existing one.

Scheduling was great and appointment was very fast. The Service Tech Tommy showed up 15 minutes early and was great. did his troubleshooting on my Heat Pump Hot Water Heater. and worked with the manufacturer to get the repair part authorized. He called me back and followed up with me and handled getting the new unit scheduled and delivered. had the unit shipped directly to me and they are heading back after the unit arrives to install it. Presidential HVAC is one of the few HVAC outfits that will install, service and repair heat pump hot water heaters. several other i contacted put them in but won't service them if there is an issue. (makes no sense to me but that how they operate.) can't say enough good about my experience with Presidential HVAC. Highly recommended.

Another positive experience on the books with Presidential Heating & Air. On the first call the owner of the company actually tried to trouble shoot with me to get system running prior to sending someone out to save me money. While incredibly patient and helpful with me, I could not find the problem. A tech arrived literally within 1 hour from my call. It was Friday afternoon of Labor Day weekend. Rafael worked diligently to determine issue which was a blown fan. He was patient and determined to rig the unit so at least it could last the weekend until the new one came in on Tuesday. On Tuesday, Juan was out pronto to install new fan, after having gone all the way to Baltimore to pick it up. He was professional, hardworking, friendly and wasted no time getting system up and running. Needless to say we are very happy to have our AC back. Also need to mention that they call to let you when on the way and send a text/email of the tech that will be there. Their level of professionalism is outstanding. Thank you again Presidential, you’ve been so helpful to us. A+++++ service on every level!

Our heat pump compressor decided to quit on us and our system went on auxiliary backup heat. I called Presidential due to the number of high positive reviews on Google. They were able to come out the next day and diagnose the problem. Unfortunately the heat pump needed to be replaced so I decided to purchase a new heat pump and furnace/blower. The sales representative from Presidential was very helpful and offered options in every price range. The fan motor for our AC was burned out, and fortunately we were able to provide part numbers so that Presidential could have the part on hand. Juan from Presidential arrived at the beginning of the 4-hour quoted window with the correct part, and after a brief check to make sure nothing else was wrong, replaced the fan motor within 45 minutes while also tutoring a newer tech. Both techs were pleasant, polite, and friendly and I would not hesitate to engage Presidential again. No BS, no upsell, just checked to make sure they were doing what really needed to be done and did it. Thanks to Gina (dispatcher) and Juan and all the team at Presidential.

There was a leak in my HVAC. I was able to call for an emergency service at about 8pm. About 30min later the service technician, Juan arrived to address the problem. He was very friendly and professional as he looked for the cause of the leak. He was able to find there was a clogged pipe and he was able to repair it. A gas valve needed replacement, and both she, the service mgr, and Juan the techie thought they had the correct part; they did not, but we will work out an addendum to the sales contract. And Presidential did not charge me for this unsuccessful visit. A good, honest company.

I was notified by text when the tech was on his way, which included a map that tracked his travel to my home. The tech was respectful, putting on mask and paper shoe covers. After a brief inspection, he quickly resolved the issue that was causing a banging noise in the fan, explaining what he did. After completing the maintenance portion of the visit, and BEFORE installing, he asked whether I wanted to get a replacement filter and humidifier pad (no on the filter and yes on the pad). He showed me how to replace the pad and how to properly use the metal electrostatic filter I have, which will save me money going forward. The service was prompt, scheduling a breeze and the price very fair. Would recommend!

We had a 21 year old heat pump that died and so we decided to go new with a more efficient unit. Presidential made the whole process simple. They provided a number of options and related costs and took their time answering questions about them. Just had a great experience with Juan today. He came out to do HVAC maintenance. He had been to the house once before on a different call and from that, remembered we had a whole-house humidifier and made sure to bring a replacement pad for it. He worked efficiently to change filters, etc. When he finished, he took time to tell me everything he’d done - on our way down from the top floor of the house he stopped, listened to the air return, and immediately went to get some tape so he could make it much quieter whenever the fan was on. He had me listen when he was done and it was a huge difference! And he just did it because he knew it would improve our everyday experience in our home, not because he had to as part of the HVAC maintenance. When we got to the first floor he stopped because he heard the same kind of noise, and he grabbed his tape again and fixed that too. Highly recommend, the in-home service and customer service on the phone are great.

Marc answered my questions, and explained the options. On installation day Humberto and his team were on time and did a fantastic job. The team was very professional and clean. Our AC blew out last night and right before what will be an exceptionally hot weekend. It was super easy to get an appointment scheduled via PHA's chat feature with Penny, despite being in the late evening, and we got an appointment for the next morning. Juan, our technician, was super friendly, professional, and a clear communicator. He quickly identified the problem, gave a range of solutions (since we had an old AC unit), and was honest about what he thought was the appropriate solution. Overall, our issue was quickly resolved and with excellent customer service. We are also members of their service plan and the technicians who came by to do check-ups on our heating system last Fall and AC this past Spring were similarly professional and courteous. We will definitely be using PHA in the future for our HVAC needs.

The serviceman, Juan, came today and inserted an injection of freon that allowed the air conditioner to run until a replacement for my very old system is installed. Presidential was recommended by a plumbing company that did not do HVAC. I needed to replace my whole house humidifier on my furnace. The person I talked to on the phone was very helpful in determining what my options were from the humidifiers Presidential supports. They were able to help my determine that I had a bypass system and told my about the direct system the suggested. I agreed to the service and the estimated cost for the new system and service. We agreed to a service date and time. The technician called me to let me know he was on his way and when he would be there. Right on time he arrived and started working. He actually determined that my current humidifier had not been connected properly when I got my new furnace (installed by a different company). He quickly removed the old system and set to installing the new and improved system. He repaired the old by-pass and got the water flowing. This winter has been such a pleasure with a new functioning humidifier. I would recommend Presidential HVAC.

I want to thank Presidential Heating and Air Conditioning for the quality and honest diagnosis they provided and follow up service and installation. We awoke in early December to a loud banging sound in our indoor furnace. Tommy came by and diagnosed our 20 year old system with mold, in need at least of a new motor, but rationalized with us our system was on its last legs. We had a new system installed inside and outside three days later along with an Air Wave purifier to keep our air quality clean and protective of mold forming again. Dave, the main installer, did quality, efficient work, along with his assistant. Great experience — this is a very streamlined operation! I got a text about an hour before the appointment confirming the time and introducing the technician, Jack. There is even a link in the text so I could track the progress of the truck right to our door. Jack checked out our 2 systems, a gas furnace and a heat pump. He replace the filters and then showed us how to adjust the dampers and vents to even out the temperature across all 3 levels of the house. We also had iwaves installed. These little gadgets kill mold, bacteria and viruses, as well as reducing allergens, so it made sense to get them done while he was here. We also thought we needed another Thermostat but Jack recommended an alternative solution that didn't cost us anything - which I really appreciated. I'd recommend Presidential.

Since he left, I have been unable to turn off my upstairs unit. It is blasting heat at 85 degrees even though the thermostat is set to 65 or lower. I have called them but it is a weekend. Tommy was very personable & efficient! He discovered my system had a "quirk", involving the AC pump, that necessitated an unexpected work-around. He also informed me that I could have avoided this repair had I known about flushing the pump with bleach at the beginning of each AC season, and he showed me how to do it! Although my system is 26 years old, when finished, he did some type of test on my system and was surprised how high it rated! He said mine was running at 26, and most run a lot lower than that, so that made me really happy! I understand a lot better now, how the system works, and simple maintenance I can do to keep it running efficiently, and I really appreciate that! We have a spacepak and it needs work but we just don't know what that will entail. Glenn came on time, walked the property with me and stated that he felt that they were likely not the right company to help us out. He then recommended another company that could assist but I found that he displayed such a high degree of integrity and professionalism with this situation, that I felt others should know about it. If you have an HVAC emergency, call Presidential! Our AC started turning on and off for short periods of time in the middle of the night, and the temperatures these days are around 100 - not good. We called Presidential shortly after it opened the next morning (a Saturday), and Gena returned my call promptly, took all my information, and kept me updated. Within the hour, Tommy Gray arrived. Tommy is no doubt an expert. He was also friendly and very informative. He identified the problem within minutes. Thirty minutes later, Tommy was done and the AC was running again. I can't speak highly enough of everyone. My only complaint is the price. Presidential charged around $250 just for a capacitor that is normally well under $100. The total for everything was around $500. If it wasn't for the service and speed, the cost would have resulted in less stars.

My experience with many other companies during the initial process of selecting a vendor and equipment configuration has been that many vendors are not willing to put much beyond a minimum effort in helping a homeowner make a significant decision such as purchasing a new HVAC system. For my family, this decision was a significant investment and not one that I was willing to make on a handwritten estimate with little other information. Glenn, at Presidential, took the time to help answer my many questions and work with me to find the system configuration that best suited my home and budget. During the process, Glenn also shared his expertise with me and helped developed the overall project design. While I had a basic idea of what I wanted to achieve with the project, Glenn provided me with a lot of expert guidance in system sizing, placement and duct routing. Glenn was a real partner throughout the entire project. I am also very pleased with the installation service delivered to us by Presidential. Our project was pretty large and required a significant amount of duct work reconfiguration, plumbing and new gas line routing. The project took 1 day longer than estimated but, that's a good thing in my book. What that tells me is that the Presidential team won't rush the job to simply meet a schedule and takes the time necessary to do the job correctly and with high quality. Gary, the technician that installed much of the duct work, is a true craftsman and the quality of his work is top-notch. The outcome of the project is exactly what I envisioned and at a level of quality beyond my expectations. Thank you, Presidential, for a job well done!

I have a complicated closed-loop deep-well geothermal system with 7 heat pumps and a dozen zones. I have yet to find an HVAC contractor that can deal with the system in it's entirety and most are not willing to try. Presidential is not intimidated and is excellent on the heat pumps and competent on geothermal generally. I've had them in on both repairs for several heat pumps and replacement of one. They are expensive but don't waste time learning on the job so they actually turn out to be more cost-effective than contractors with lower billing rates. Also with them a fixed price is fixed.

My house has two heat pumps. First one was installed by ARS Rescue Rooter. I don't recommend this contractor. They do a sloppy job with installation and tried to call them today to verify my unit if it is a single or two stage system. She keeps insisting to send tech out. I told her I just need to know about my system that her company installing. I was thinking in my head For what? Can't answer a simple question about the unit. So, I called Presidential Contractor who installed my second unit 4 years ago. The manager answered my question about wanting to install NEST thermostat myself. I used two different contractors to install in my house. Presidential is doing a good job and extra mile. ARS laid refrigerant pipe near the ground and used a cheap foam insulator around the pipe. I noticed yesterday ARS unit has no 60A circuit breaker with the indoor unit, but Presidential does. Presidential installed refrigerant line 6" above ground and used a sleeve to insulate the pipe. Plus, the indoor unit comes with a 60A CB. I compared both workmanship from both companies, the Presidential does a better job than ARS.
