We have had a terrific experience from start to finish with Gagne. Jeremy, our service tech, was so courteous and knowledgable. He didn't jump to suggesting a new system, but gave us an overview of all our options. Rick , in sales, spent several hours with us on a Saturday. He has a long career in this business and was so helpful to articulate different scenarios and help us decide what our best option was. He even came to the installation to make sure we were happy and taken care of. Installation was smooth and professional. Eric, the owner, stopped by to check on how things were going. His hands on approach is something you rarely see, even going in the attic in the heat of the day to make a few suggestions to the team. The installation team were courteous, hard working, and respectful of the house. Their attention to detail was exceptional. The positive attitude and happiness of the staff is a direct reflection of how the business is run. We will be lifelong customers now and will be happy to recommend them to others.

We had a new HVAC installed for our upstairs unit. All the technicians were professional and knowledgeable. They were very efficient with the install and cleaned up everything. You can't go wrong with Gagne Heating and Air. Rick from sales did a great job, his prior experience as a technician really showed when walking us through our options. He pointed out some things that our home inspector didn't even catch. For the install, Tanner and his crew were top notch. Jeremy, the Tech who came out to service my A/C units, was AWESOME (all caps on purpose) and went above and beyond to maintain not only the system Gagne installed but also the system they didn't. Gagne has been great for us. We bought an old enough house that we ended up needing to replace first the upstairs and then downstairs HVAC systems. Gagne was very competitive with the costs for some of the best systems out there. They did great jobs with install and were also great repairing the old systems until Freon simply cost too much. We are sold and could not recommend them more.

The company was able to give me a quote for a new hot water heater over the phone, based on photos taken for our furnace. They were there the next day and installed a truly upgraded system and explained certain operating features. As it was with our previous service, the technicians were courteous and professional. They were able to install in short order. I highly recommend this company.

Gagne installed and reconfigured our entire HVAC system 8 years ago with excellent results. The care and time they took to zone the house properly and provide a system that would meet our needs (including installing a steam humidifier on my request!) that made sense for our budget and homeownership plans. Recently the unit needed maintenance - very quickly on a holiday weekend we were able to get help to the house, diagnose the issue and repair it. Turns out it was an electrical issue from the house! Gagne represents excellence in a small business model with care and quality their primary focus. That for us represents an excellent value.

I had a very difficult system with an older Carrier thermostat. I needed a new thermostat but this was a proprietary thermostat that is not made anymore. I called many companies and gave them the information but nobody could do it. I was told by some that it could not be done. This company got the info and within an hour, thought they could make the needed changes. Tim arrived and was very courteous and professional. He made the required changes for less then expected. First, Gary Meon, Technician, was very methodical, professional and has been in the industry many years and with Gagne for 3 yrs. We had an issue with our heater. Turns out it was the thermostat that wasn't sending the right signal (voltage) to the units. Lastly, we signed up for the maintenance program. Which includes 2 visits per year. Worth it.

I am a real estate owner of multiple properties for 55 years. I used the same hvac firm for 27 years to maintain my properties until the owners retired in 2021. I located Gagne via Next Door Neighbor. I was very impressed with their appointment booking and follow-up technology. EXTREMELY satisfied they have one specific technician assigned to a small geographic area, which means he/she arrives on time - mine was an hour early. As of Oct 2022 Gagne has 6 technician and a separate department of 9 installers for change out of equipment; or new install. This allows them with the depth of skill sets to handle the most unusual, yet not so large the customer is paying for a fancy office. As with my technician. when Gagne needs another tech, they seek out the best for their needs and begin recruiting him/her. My tech was warranty and quality assurance tech for Carrier until Gagne hired him away. He has been with Gagne now for six years, and very satisfied. PS: I was also licensed in hvac and electrical for 15 years to assist my general contractor's license for building. When I began my search for the hvac firm I was seeking, I knew from experience the qualities I was seeking.

Our 17 year-old Goodman Mechanical HVAC unit failed and reached the end of it’s life cycle and thus, needed to be replaced. We googled HVAC contractors in North Atlanta and noticed that Gagne Heating & Air stood out amongst the crowd with lots of 5-star Google reviews. The process was straight forward & simple. We had two of their seasoned & experienced HVAC service techs Greg & Darryl come out and properly diagnose our failing 17 year-old Goodman Mechanical evap. coil a few weeks ago, then our salesman Rick and Timmy their service manager worked as a team to consult with us to upgrade and purchase a complete new Carrier HVAC system that fit our budget. Yesterday, two of their qualified installers Tanner & Tyler installed a brand new Carrier 2-ton 14 SEER energy-efficient HVAC system at our home. After finishing the installation, Tanner also did a nice job of explaining how our new Carrier HVAC system works and some of the proactive measures that he and Tyler took during their installation to improve the efficiency of our new Carrier HVAC system. Trip 1: Diagnosis - Daryl and his team were great. They diagnosed the problem and told me the plan going forward to resolve the issue. Trip 2: The Fix - I felt compelled to write about this company and how good they are. For all those that are looking for a HVAC company that delivers absolute quality and professionalism Gagne is the company to turn to. When Trey and Tyler came to my home to install a new evaporative coil they were professional, courteous, and provided a QUALITY job. I have had other HVAC companies do work but they do not even compete with this company. I watched some of the work being done and Trey and Tyler were detailed oriented and performed the work as if my home was their own. It is very hard to find an honest company but Gagne is one of those. I will hire no other company to perform HVAC work for me in the future. I also have to give Sara special thanks since she has kept me informed from start to finish about the job in progress, which is very rare of companies. Once Ricky Moore showed up and we had a discussion, we quickly realized that I should have asked for a maintenance type of call, and that he didn't have the capability to quote what I needed. While he was on the 'sales' side, he has 20+ years of technical expertise, and was able to give me EXACT information about our existing system. You get a text or email confirmation for everything- including one when your tech is about to arrive. Their processes are even better than they were when they installed our main level unit a few years ago. Also, a special shout out to Gary, their installation manager, for diagnosing an exhaust problem that was unrelated to their scope of work.

Daniel was my technician who came out to our home on the second day. He was extremely courteous and professional. I needed a damper motor replaced on my ductwork. The location of the damper motor was not in an ideal location to replace, clearly, it was not engineered for simple replacement. However, Daniel did not let that deter him from replacing the motor. He climbed up into my attic, traversed the framing, and was able to quickly and safely replace the defective damper motor. I was so impressed with his resolve, knowledge and professionalism, I asked him if I could take a picture of him replacing the motor, and he obliged. Great example of going the extra mile to "wow" a customer!!

On Thursday, June 23, 2022, Mr. Jeremy Dodson (an Air Conditioning Technician working on behalf of, and representing, Gagne Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC) arrived at my home for an urgent evaluation. The cause for urgency regarded a potential gas leak behind a drywall in the laundry room. Mr. Dodson immediately examined the area of concern, but not before politely asking me to move into the opposite side of the house for my own safety (I was the only family member in our home). SAFELY, EFFICIENTLY, and METICULOUSLY, without leaving a single mark or blemish, Mr. Dodson determined that the strange sounds I and our children had been hearing in the laundry room originated with a small but significant water leak, of recent onset, located behind the drywall. Then, after dealing with my primary concerns to the best of his abilities (an issue for which I will contact a Plumber), and after showing me the gradually leaking water, Mr. Dodson resumed his work with the A/C systems. After he performed a rapid but thorough evaluation of both units AND THEIR THERMOSTATS, Mr. Dodson changed both A/C filters (one being a HEPA filter) and cleaned each filter slot thoroughly. (His assessments included examination of BOTH OUTSIDE HEAT PUMPS!) Finally, after thoroughly, RATIONALLY, AND LOGICALLY EXPLAINING HIS WORKS AND REVIEWING HIS RECOMMENDATIONS, I settled the fees (EXTREMELY APPROPRIATE AND FAIR considering the extent, quality, and detail of Mr. Dodson's work). He will be returning next month to finish cleaning the units (heat pumps and indoor parts of each unit), usw, usf... It is correct to honour the Facts and Truth of Mr. Jeremy Dodson's hard work, expertise, High Ethical attributes, Intelligence, and Kindness as SUPERB (10 OUT OF 10). One of our units was giving us issues this summer and while we did a quick fix which worked for a few weeks and received some quotes, it just quit in August. Our new neighbors had used Gagne and we also got a lot of positive reviews from the NextDoor app for our neighborhood. So I contacted them for a $99 service visit. It was clear that repair for our 12 year plus Carrier Infinity unit was not recommended due to cost and return on investment. Cagne offered a very competitive price quote and actually suggested a unit better suited for us based on line length and positioning, something no one else had offered. Due to busy season it was going to be a week before they could do the installation. In the interim they offered us 2 spot coolers which were hand delivered by Eric Gagne, the co-owner. I also received a call from Eric that there would be able to install the unit earlier than expected, which the team did well and without a hitch. Gagne also offers a discount to veterans and school teachers. I found them to be straightforward and no high pressure sales. As a Veteran, I appreciated their discount. We plan to use them again for our next unit replacement and their service plan. Highly recommend them.

Mr. Gagne looked at the heat pump we needed to replace. Having decided on a Carrier unit and Gagne HVAC being a Carrier Contractor made it easy. Actually what made it easy was the fact that their quote for the exact Carrier unit that we wanted and that was recommended as an excellent replacement, was NINE HUNDRED dollars less than the other two quotes that I obtained from two of the largest HVAC companies in Atlanta. The decision at that point in time was easy and within 48 hours Gagne had replaced our unit and installed a new thermostat which came with the unit at no extra charge. This home had a heat pump vs a standard HVAC condensing system.
