Absolutely First Class from start to finish. My old AC unit finally finished out its service, so I was in need of a complete new unit. The team was out to assess what was need and applied for financing in the driveway. 2 days later, Just a quick 48 hours. I wasn’t no longer living in a 90 degree home. The installers showed me everything and was very nice and polite. Answered any and all questions with respect. Just a Five-Star experience from beginning to end! Highly Recommend.

I have used the service for the last two years for well checks of my systems. I am very pleased and impressed every time I interact with someone from the company. The technician calls before coming and is always on time. I feel confident in the work he is doing. I’ve also called the office when I had a concern about my heating system. They could’ve come out and charged me a fee to tell me everything was all right. But instead, talk to me over the phone and determined that it was most likely a normal sound I was hearing. I really appreciated that . I have no idea if this is a large or small company, but they really do take the time to provide a good service. I would absolutely recommend Clark’s Heating and Air

Johnny Spikes was my service tech and he couldn't have been any better! My furnace stopped working. It was 18 degrees for our high! The man who installed my furnace had moved out of state. I called Clark's because they are local and I am so happy I did!!! They were very professional and courteous on the phone. A kind, knowledgeable and courteous technician came out within 5 hours and repaired my furnace! Called last Thursday for scheduling repair on our upstairs AC. They responded via text almost immediately and said someone could come Friday. They contacted me Friday morning to say a technician could come earlier than originally scheduled, which was great for us. Johnny called when he was on the way, and he showed up on time. He was professional, courteous, efficient, and able to get the problem fixed quickly. He did a few extra things like replacing some filters to make sure our AC would be running smoothly. He was informative, but never pushy. We were very happy, and will call them again for any future needs.

This is my first time using Clark's Heating and Air and I was very impressed with the honesty of the service technician. I recently purchased a 45 year old house. The HAVC system is rather old. I wanted a check up of my system to make sure everything is still in good working condition. Good news that my system works just fine but it is not overly energy efficient. The technician said if it not broke don't fix it suggestion. I agreed. He didn't try to sell me anything I do not need. Clark's Heating and Air will be back in the Spring to tune up my A/C. I trust these folks. I am happy that they are a local business in case I do need a major replacement. Thank you!!!

The tech was here when he said he would be. He was friendly and pleasant, and explained what he was going to do. When it came time for him to give me my receipt, and for me to sign for my credit card charge, there was a place for a tip. I resent a tip even being mentioned. I know I don’t HAVE to tip, but once it’s there on the paper, you are afraid not to. I feel that the tech coming to my house, going into my attic, inserting a filter, and cleaning the inside of my unit is just the basics of the job I hired your company to do. If your tech keeps your clients happy, doesn’t get any complaints from the houses he’s been to, and those customers have recommended your company to someone new (which I have), and that person took out a yearly contract, you need to give your employee a bonus at the end of the year. That’s just an expense of doing business, an expense for you, not your customers.

I recently changed to Clark’s for my maintenance. I called this morning to report my furnace was not working. They promptly called me back and assigned me a time window from 10:45am to 2:45pm. The tech showed up at 10am and fixed my problem. I cannot thank them enough. I know they were extremely busy due to the cold weather. They even let you charge the service on-site without any service fees for either repairs or maintenance. I will be a customer for life. BTW the furnace problem had nothing to do with the recent maintenance performed.

My winter tuneup revealed a defective gas valve in my main unit. Johnny explained the issue. Was able to get it working that day and cautioned that it could possibly fail again. He provided a quote in the event I decided to replace the valve at a later date. Later during the night the valve failed again. I contacted Melissa to calendar a date for the repair in anticipation of our colder weather. She called me back and advised that they had an opening become available later that day if I would be available. Got the repair done as promised. We did have a little scheduling issue on the follow-up for this repair...after the part was received, but that was quickly resolved with a phone call and Tom showed up on time and made the necessary repair!

Top notch business and expertise! On the coldest days in GA history and Christmas Day my furnace decided it was done for the year. One can imagine the panic and freezing temps inside our home. It was not a pleasant 2-days as I decided to try and tackle the repair in my own. In the end, I called Clark’s on Christmas Day and they had someone to my home the morning after. After 2 local HVAC services visited .....with estimated repairs ranging from $850 to nearly $1700.....Clarke's came and after 30 minutes or so realized that while we were using expensive filters and were in fact changing them monthly.....we were using the wrong filters for 1 of our 4 units. $200 and were were good. Had a new HVAC 3 ton 16 seer system put in by a shady HVAC Co. Name J & - Heating and Air out of Monroe, GA. Please avoid this company at all cost! They are extremely shady and have no clue how to properly install or maintain a HVAC System. Long story short, they had my unit running at 2400 cfm when it was designed to operate at 1200-1400 cfm. Fortunately I found Clark’s Heating and Air from all the Awesome reviews. The Tech they sent out was “Jay”. He started be verifying that my supply and return ducting was properly sized. Everything checked about. He then checked my outside unit charge and pressures and that checked out hood as well. He then went upstairs in the attic to check the setting on my indoor air handler. It was there that he informed me that “None” of the setting had ever been setup from the initial installation from almost 1 year prior. UNREAL! He setup the unit for proper operation for my ducting. He even turned on the Aux heat that was never working as it had never been configured from the initial installation by J & - Air out of Monroe. I’m so very thankful for Jay and Clark’s Heating and Air. I will never use any other company and you shouldn’t either! By the way if anything I have said here offends anyone..Oh well… What I have stated here is 100% the truth and not my personal option. Thanks so much to Jay and Clark’s Heating & Air! You guys “Rock”….

Less than a month ago I had a new filter system, replacing another one, right away I smelled a strange smell, thought it was just new it would go away. However, less than a month it got so bad that I turned the heat off for the night, worried my puppy or myself would get sick or worse, I called Robert, he sent a tech out that day. I have very high praises for Tech Tom Thompson, very professional, determined the problem, now no more horrible smell, he also fixed a vent that I have had problems with since I moved here 9 yrs. ago. which another company said the thermostat was too far away from that room. I called to see if I could have someone to come out to check our AC. It was around 11:30, figured it'd take a few days at best. I talked with Lisa, I think was her name. She was very personable and said someone could out but it'd be after 6pm that evening. Well, to make a long story short I had my air up and running by 4pm. The service rep, Tom Thompson, came out and asked what was going on. When I told him he was pretty sure what the problem was, and he was right. Within 45 minutes he had it going. I have no idea if what they charged was higher or cheaper than any other but I felt it was reasonable, especially since my air was going in less than 5 hours. I plan on using Clark's the next time I need service and when I do I'm going to request Tom.

I completely understand why Clark's has a five star rating. We moved into our home and at some point in the afternoon our air conditioning lost its mind and started blowing hot air. After unloading boxes all day, not in the mood to be miserable all night! Next morning we just starting googling places and came upon Clark's. It starts from the minute the phone is answered. Clark's Heating & Air was great! Our A/C broke overnight and Seth quoted us the very next day and also ordered a part we would need for install. We confirmed the job in the late afternoon and they had Ronald out to install everything early the very next morning. We only had to go one full night without A/C in this late July Georgia heat and our new system is currently filling our house with A/C. They even replaced our faulty A/C breaker. FIVE STARS AND ALWAYS A GREAT JOB! Once again Clark’s Heating and Air did an awesome job. This was our fall check up for our 3 systems and the annual renewal of our contract. We had David as our service technician and he was so very nice, knowledgeable, and professional. All units checked out, however he showed me the inside of the door to our largest furnace and it was covered with mold. Not something you want in your furnace. Apparently, it is a very common problem in Georgia and easily remedied with a UV light in the unit. David explained the 2 options that would take care of the problem, but the price difference between the two was about $1,000. Obviously, we wanted to get rid of the mold, but wanted to make sure we made the best choice for our unit and our home. I decided to call and talk to the owner, Robert Clark who was extremely helpful in assisting us with our decision as to which UV light/system to purchase. Although the furnace with the issue is our largest, it is also not the main furnace and the least used. Because of this Robert said that we did not need, nor would benefit from the larger more expensive UV light/system. Honestly and integrity is always what I say about Clark’s Heating and Air and this conversation with Robert, just reinforced that. We have been with Clark’s Heating and Air since we purchased this house 4 ½ years ago. We switched to them because one of the 3 units in our house was installed by Clark’s and still under warranty. Since that time Clark’s has replaced 2 AC units that were 13 & 14 years old as well as a furnace that was 14 years old, they have installed thermostats, come when we have had issues, and maintained all of our 3 systems. Every employee from Clark’s has been awesome! They never try to sell you the most expensive rather only what will work best for you, your situation, and home. I cannot express enough how thankful we are to have found Clark’s Heating and Air. They go above and beyond. If you are in need of a reliable, honest, and good Heating and Air company I would highly recommend Clark’s Heating and Air!!

Johnny is a stand up guy. As many questions as I bothered him with he was very professional and polite in answering my questions. I had a bad blower motor in my upstairs unit and aside from having to order the parts he got my AC going again in a very timely matter. I had him check my basement's HVAC system to get a 2nd opinion and qoute from a previous diagnosis of another company. Turns out the other compnay would've charged me much more for the same repair. I had Johnny perform the job and he was also very quick getting my basement cooling again. The communication from Johnny was fantastic. I would ask for Johnny should I need more work done.

Very happy with Clark's HVAC. Professional,, on time and honest. Keep us aware of appt times and arrivals ( as usual ). We have used Clark's for several years now, for maintenance. Unfortunately, our system broke down and we had to have an entire new system installed. We chose Clarks and Lennox products due to their reputation and performance. Our salesperson, Scot was professional, patient, and was sure we understood everything. He came out multiple times to be sure we were comfortable with what we were purchasing. The install crew was great. Jay, Dwight, Dylan and the rest of the crew were professional and hard working. They worked all day in the rain, never complained, and in fact, worked well past normal quitting time on a weekend night. It's refreshing to find a company that says what they will do, and then actually does it to a level above what was expected.

He quickly located the problem and offered a solution which was acceptable. September 6, 2022 Jay returned with the fan motor and within 30 minutes had the system running again and the house began to cool off. Thanks for sending a reliable guy to fix our problem. He is truly a keeper and we appreciate our relationship. October 10, 2022 Johnny provided the service we expected from Clark's HVAC, always prompt, courteouis and professional. They were great, very nice, they replaced a unit we had that went out, they also took a humidifier system out that had went bad and had black mold growing on it, put new thermostat in, and they had some trouble with it due to lines being backed up, but soon as I called and let them know the next day that nothing was working they were back in no time later that day and finally got everything straightened out and have not had anymore trouble with it. Scot came out and gave me an estimate on sinking heatpumps that were not properly installed when the home was new. He asked to check the handlers just to make sure those were good and low and behold there were issues there as well. Not sure how much longer we could have gone without a major accident. Clark's was a breath of fresh air when we were collecting quotes to replace our 20 year old heat pump. We initially got a "quote" from Reliable Heating and Air which was really just a sales pitch for their rip off leasing program where customers pay about $50 for their equipment and $80 for "service" every month indefinitely. In the end paying over twice as much for a piece of equipment the sales associate himself called "junk". Clark's quote was over $2000 cheaper for better equipment and no gimmicky service plans. All of the employees were courteous and friendly. Scot felt like part of the family as he tossed a ball with our kids while talking to us about our options :) They quickly got our new system installed and offered great customer service the whole time. I also appreciate the thank you we got in the mail. I'm very impressed! Not only do I highly recommend Clark's, I also highly recommend you stay far away from Reliable.

Since we bought our house (new) in 2016 we have had a problem with the fuse blowing. Frist time was within a week of moving in. Great Company. My compressor went out on my 23 year old AC unit and I found Clark's through a Google search of my area. Seeing all the good reviews they had I had them come out and give me an estimate to replace both the AC system and also to replace the old gas furnace. The person that came to look at the system and give me an estimate explained all the options available to me and explained all the differences in each. Once I decided on the system I wanted to go with they scheduled an install date. The person doing the install showed up on time and got the entire system replaced that day. I am very happy with this company and will have them replace my other unit if it ever has any issues in the future. I cannot say how their prices compare to other companies since I did not get any other estimates, but to me price is not driving factor when I buy things. I had rather get good quality products and service instead of buying the cheapest product I can find.

The problem was with the drip/drain pan and the line being clogged and too small to begin with.. The clog was cleared and a plan set in motion to rectify the problem moving forward. I was very pleased with the urgency in their response and would highly recommend Clark’s Heating and Air to anyone looking for any type of HA/VC work. They truly know how to take care of their customers.

New System making rattling in outside unit. I called for service which was scheduled .in only 2 days as unit was cooling just fine. Thoroughly checked out unit and determined debris had gotten in from recent rain/wind storm. Unit operating just fine. Great response time and problem identified and resolved promptly! Follow-up Sunday 12/22/19 Returned home to see our heat pump outside compressor unit totally frozen up with frost and ice encompassing the outside unit. I phoned the after hours repair line, left a message as stated by the answering service voice mail and within 15 minutes I received a call back from the on-call emergency after hours technician. After answering a few of his questions, he asked if I would be home in an hour and stated he would be here in about an hour. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem as a faulty part, ensured our emergency heat was operating and adjusted the heat pump unit accordingly and stated he would call back Monday (the week of Christmas) with status as to the availability, etc of a part. The warehouse did not have the part and was to be closed until that Friday, but the heat pump emergency heat was working ok. The tech called back Friday, had the replacement part, came over at 9:00am and installed it. Now working just fine! Update 10/14/2020 Fall PM and once again exceptional service and technical skills that I trust and rely upon completely. The tech is a master technician, very customer oriented, communicates his findings clearly, invites questions and is a top service provider. Fall 2021 PM update, excellent service by knowledgeable and professional tech. who answered my questions and explained everything that was done to fully evaluate our 4 units. I will definitely renew the annual service agreement in the spring time

4.8 so I gave a 5. Called Sunday had appointment Monday. My only negative was I scheduled a 4pm appointment and someone was at my home at 1pm. I was still at work and saw a bill in my email. I called the office and explained I scheduled after 3pm on purpose, so she sent someone else out and came right around 4. The repairman was very helpful and saw an unknown issue before he even walked up the last stair to the attic, an issue my installers ( from another company) missed that could have prevented a water stain on my ceiling. I had a clogged drain pipe so the water was leaking from my ceiling onto my hardwood floors. Thankfully I recognized the issue and shut the air off and called for service. I also ask alot of questions and he answered all of them with knowledge. They do charge for every little thing but I realized alot of what I'm looking for is included with their maintenance package. I will most likely sign up for the maintenance as well. I WOULD recommend this company. FyI.. I do have a regular company I have used for over 20 years but its a small local company and it's really hard to get a quick appointment so I'm changing to Clark's.

I have a home warranty on my AC, and it went out yesterday morning. The warranty company couldn't come until the next week, even after I told them I have a 2 year old and my house was already 80 degrees at 2pm! I started calling local companies because we also have a large dog at home, so staying in a hotel wasn't an option. Robert was super nice and honest. He said to try the warranty company again and make sure they know it's an emergency before paying them to come out. My AC broke down and I was able to schedule an appt and have someone come out same day. I love the 2 hour window I was given for when to expect arrival (nowadays it seems more normal to have a four to eight hour window). Tracy arrived on time, was very professional, went above and beyond in describing my system, how it works and what caused the failure and he gave me tips and options on how to prevent it going forward. All without trying to upsell me anything that I didn't need. Ultimately he fixed my AC issue and I was charged an amount that was extremely reasonable for the services provided. Honest review: Had an issue with the AC not cooling properly so I called 4 HVAC companies in the Hoschton/Braselton area and asked what they all charged to come out and see what the problem was. One company charged $100, another charged $85, the other charged $70 and Clarke’s charged $79. I ended up choosing Clark’s because they were close and local. Came out the same day. David was the repair man that came out - great guy, very personal, explained to me how things worked, answered questions, etc. The issue ended up being a bad capacitor. When I called to schedule the appointment I mentioned I had a five year parts warranty with Goodman and she said they would work with that... I assumed If they were going to replace a part it was going to be free on my end. Having a Goodman warranty, David mentioned that it would take a couple days for the Goodman part to be here and I Just said heck with it and I agreed to pay $89 for him to put one of their capacitors in instead. Nothing against Clarke’s at all... but if I knew what I was doing and had to do it all over again I probably would’ve called an HVAC company that was a Goodman dealer or had their parts on hand and I would have saved some money. But David was great and I appreciate the great service form you all! Thanks!

I spoke with the owner and I wanted to pay before the service was done because I have to work on the day they're coming out he told me not to pay until the service is done he wants me to be satisfied. Install happened the next day after I accepted the quote. Gene the installler was professional and has great personality he answered my questions I had about the install. Pricing was about $300 more than other quotes but the service they offered 3 years of free labor compared to 1 from other companies is worth it. There was a bump with the install which required additional parts. Clark's stepped up to the plate and sent the parts and completed the job at not additional expense to me. This is customer service at its best which is hard to put a price on. Update 9/1/20 Had a power surge that blew out the board and the wiring harness which shut the A/C system down. I called Monday at 5:24 and left a message. To my surprise DL called me back at 5:30 and said he would be out in about 2 hours. They did not have the part in stock but said it should be there Wednesday and would see me around 2pm. DL called at 1:45 and was on his way. It was finished by 4pm. In my view what sets companies apart is service and once again Clark’s Heating and Air went above and beyond. Thank you!

I really like this installer. Great Service, follow-up and excellent HVAC equipment. We have three systems and six months ago, after twenty years, we replaced our original Lennox on the main floor with a new Lennox 16 Seer system. We really see the reduced utility cost and feel the increased comfort. The new system also operates at a significantly reduced noise level. I also purchased an I-Comfort Thermostat so they are informed of any problems. You may not always see an issue for a few days because the system may not need to run, depending on the weather. Another great feature of I-Comfort is Smart Away. If you leave the house, the system reduces (or increases) the temperature based on our individual cell phone locations to save money. Since I work both in and out out of the house, setting a fixed thermostat schedule is not convenient so this is a plus. But it still has a schedule feature where the temperature can be adjusted for sleep and wake hours. As a result, we requested a quote from Clark to replace the upper floor next. I don't like to write reviews immediately because some companies will provide good initial service, then disappear. Not Clark. They called me to set-up the follow-up service appointment. Arrived on time and took enough time to actually check the system. Not the hand wave service calls I have experienced in the past. This service call was also at no additional charge. Updated April 13: I followed up in 2019 by purchasing a second HVAC system upstairs. This old Lennox system lasted 20+ years also. Kevin performed the same great service Billy did on the first system and thoroughly tested the condensation gravity feed which he improved from the original builder installation. Since I purchased the I-Comfort thermostat with this system also, I can change the temperature/schedules on the upstairs HVAC from the downstairs thermostat. Just swipe the screen from one page to the next. It doesn't allow you to change the system background settings remotely but that isn't required very often. Very convenient. Updated Jan 28, 2020: Used Clark again and they solved my problem. Dwight came by today and fixed our 18 year old Trane heat pump. He has been here before and is always very professional and pleasant. He does a great job making sure everything completely checked out and working before he leaves.

Another technician had to come back the next day to complete a few minor details and was here an additional 1 1/2 hours. Billy was very professional and worked very hard, to get the job done. All of that being said, I'd still recommend Clarks but thought these two items might help you to get 5 stars next time.

Our air conditioning stopped working Saturday afternoon around 3:00 we didn't start noticing the heat until around 5:30. My husband started doing his checklist to see what the problem could be, he couldn't get it to work so we called around 7:00 to have them come out and check our air. I am having a problem with a lot of dust in my home; the tech suggested (and I agreed to the change) that the vent that brings air in from the outside be closed. This has been done. The tech also suggested that I set the thermostat fan to on as this step would circulate the existing (house) air to be re-circulated. I'm going to work with this option and will monitor the results. I'm hoping that my problem is resolved.
