Excellent company to work with. Sales crew was helpful and gave a no pressure quote with options for a lower cost system. They respected my wishes for a basic system without the bells and whistles and didn't try to upsell me or tell me I needed to replace functional equipment. Their quote was the lowest of the four we received. Installation crew was professional and on time. The install looks good and everything worked like it should before they left. We went with Bartlett because of all the 5 star reviews and they were a local Cobb county company. They earned 5 stars from us as well.

Being in sales my whole life, this may have been one of the most impressive experiences I have ever had. I am not one who likes to have to bargain and shop around for the best deal. From the start, Karen was flawless. So genuine. Then Jeff came and was very honest and upfront with me. He didnt try to flaunt their most expensive products toward me. He told me exactly what I needed. He of course showed me what was available but was very informitive and knowledgable on what those upgrades do so I could make a clear decision on which route to go. Not only was the process smooth, the team was so nice. They cleaned up every spec of mess (i'm assuming they made dragging the old duct work out). Even texted me as I was away from home to ask what temp I like the house at. Anddd to make things better, they send me a thank you gift afterwards. As weird as it sounds, I wish my AC has issues more often just to get to work with such an efficient and genuine team!

I've always had pleasant experiences with Bartlett's technicians but Joshua Ellis went above and beyond today when he came out to perform routine maintenance on our HVAC units. He noticed our gas fireplace had the incorrect burners/logs in it, which may not seem like a big deal to some but could potentially cause harmful chemicals to be emitted into the air. Thanks to Bartlett and Joshua for superior service!

Competitive prices provided on what is needed & since many parts are on the truck, most likely multiple appts aren’t needed to take care of one simple issue. I am so happy to have found such an excellent HVAC service provider! My system was installed in the late 70s and the duct work is really wonky. I was having problems with air flow and a noisy return. Joshua did a thorough check of the entire system and made several adjustments to the vents. I'm very hands on, and he explained everything he was doing and why. Unfortunately nothing can be done about the noise due to the location of the system in my home, but the tweaks to the vents significantly improved the air flow! He's the 3rd person I've had out, but the only one who helped resolve the issue. I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks so much.

We ended up needing someone to come out a couple of times (not for lack of quality performance, more so bc this job was not a quick fix). Terence went above and beyond to come out when needed and helped get our air back on! Their services were wonderful and very professional. Also, Karen was great with following up & communication on appointment times! The spot cooler we were able to rent for a few days truly saved us! New to the area last spring and used Nextdoor to find a recommended HVAC service to help with issues I was having cooling my newly purchased townhome. Bartlett came up and after speaking with their super kind front office person, Josh was soon to arrive, inspect, troubleshoot, and resolve my HVAC problem. He was clean and friendly, very knowledgeable, systematic in figuring out the issue, and presented clear options on what I could and should do to resolve it. Signing up for their service plan (which I wanted to set up regardless) gave me some nice discounts on the repair. Fast forward to today when I was scheduled for my winter service, half expecting them to be running late due to all the frigid temps and emergency calls they were doing all weekend, Josh returned, was on time, and reflected the same quality service I experienced earlier in the year. I am VERY pleased with Bartlett H&C and grateful for the recommendation that pointed me to them last year. Without hesitation, I highly recommend them to anyone looking for H&C service needs. 9 Aug 2022. The facts - Technician, Joshua, showed up on time; diagnosed the problem, did the work in about 50 - 60 minutes. Replaced a blown capacitor made for a smaller condenser unit. A/c is working again. Everyone is happy. :) :) The details - (A lot of good reasons why to call Bartlett.) House built in 2004, with a complete Len Nox HVAC unit. In 7/2008, our buying realtor called some HVAC company, and had the unit checked over (i.e new filters, etc., made it brand new) for us before we signed the papers, and moved in. :) In 6/2017, the condenser fan was not spinning, no cool air from the vents. Another company, #$% HVAC, was called to diagnose the problem, tech (who looked competent) said original capacitor was blown and unit was out of refrigerant. Tech replaced the capacitor, charged the system, and cleaned the unit of leaves, pine needles. After two hours of quality, thorough work; we felt we had chosen a good company for future service/maintenance. :) The Len Nox condenser is three point FIVE ton unit, tech from #$% HVAC had installed a capacitor made for a THREE ton unit. :(

During a heat wave my AC unit just wasn't keeping up. My phone call to Bartlett was promptly answered and service was scheduled quickly. Joshua came out and quickly diagnosed the problem. He was very detailed in his explanation and I felt like I fully understood what was wrong with the unit and what needed to be fixed. He was very kind and answered all my questions. I was surprised once I agreed, he stated he had to just go get the parts from his vehicle. I am so used to companies having to reschedule you so they can buy the right parts but he was prepared! Side note: I am signed up for their service package where they come out to maintain my units in the spring and fall. It was nice to see Joshua again. After searching on line I found Bartlett Heating & Cooling is one of the best services I could use. Scheduling the service was very easy and they gave the appointment for within two days. Bartlett technicians did an excellent job of replacing the old flue pipe from 1955 with a new metal flue pipe. They put the new pipe all the way from the furnace in the basement out the roof and installed a new cap. The job was done very well. Everyone was very professional and polite. I can’t express how grateful we are for the honest consultation and fantastic service of Bartlett. When cold weather hit and our furnace wasn’t working, we had a competitor come out and look at our system which resulted in them recommending either a $2500 repair or a $6000 new system. I am so glad we decided to have Bartlett come out and give a second opinion. Not only did they immediately quote a replacement that was a greater system and $1000 less than our previous quote, but they questioned the previous repair quote and sent a tech out to take a look. Our Bartlett tech confirmed the issue was misdiagnosed and was able to repair for a third of the previously quoted price. They could have easily told us to go with a new system or blindly done the repairs the previous company recommended, but the experience we received shows the Bartlett team cares about delivering honest and dependable service over money. Dusty from Bartlett came out to my house and helped me pick the best system for my house. The Carrier Infinity system was my best choice with a great price and efficiency. Have used Bartlett for about 4 years now. They come to service both HVAC systems (downstairs and upstairs) twice a year. They installed a new HVAC system after a nearly 20 year old system broke down. Their service goes above and beyond. For example, in 2019, our HVAC system broke down right before my 40th birthday party. Tommy worked for hours to get our system working again even though it was pouring rain and he was getting absolutely soaked. He continued to work knowing that we had a party coming up the next day when he would have been entirely justified in stopping and coming back another day. Would definitely recommend Bartlett's HVAC service to others.

We had 2 new HVAC units installed by Reliable Heating & Air 6 years ago and signed up for their maintenance plan. Our upstairs unit went out Thursday night, so I called Reliable to get someone out ASAP. I was told I'd have to wait until Monday. This was obviously unacceptable since it's over 90 degrees out. Friday morning, I called Bartlett and was told that they could have a technician out Friday night. The office staff was amazing. They even called before the office closed to let us know that the technician, Gene, would be out shortly. Gene came out and quickly diagnosed the problem and got it fixed. He also discovered that the previous company had installed the wrong size air conditioner filters. We immediately changed our maintenance plan over to Bartlett. Gene was great - friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We're hoping he'll be the technician that comes out to service our AC units in the future. 5 stars!!!!!

Bartlett came out last year and repaired our system, and upon our request gave a reasonable quote for a replacement as ours was getting up there. We demurred last year, but contacted them again this year for an updated quote. They gave a good quote, explained all our questions, then just went away and let us decide, no pressure or harassment. After more research and other quotes, we went back to Bartlett and asked more questions that they answered honestly and to our satisfaction. Their quote stacked up without any back and forth, or without any "I can ask my manager about an additional discount". Once we decided to install, they reached back out and set it up. The had two teams and both worked quickly and efficiently, and did a good job as far as I can tell. Obviously our experience with the new system is early, but it works well. Will be happy to use them again. Only issue was communications was a bit lax when setting up the appointment and returning one of the calls about questions, though their normal person that handles that was out at the time. Once they realized they missed calling they apologized and made doubly sure that we were taken care of.

Bartlett replaced both of our heating and air conditioning systems, plus zoned one of the systems for better efficiency. As a retired mechanical engineer, I watched the entire operation. Bartlett’s technicians were well trained, experienced, and very professional. They did the job right, there were no corners cut. For example, an existing duct blocked a lot of usable storage space in the attic. Without being asked, they recognized the problem and rerouted the duct to make that area useful. When the new and larger system was found to be cooling a section of the house too well, they quickly added dampers to four ducts to balance the system evenly. Also, Bartlett sent enough people to quickly do the install work and had other folks get and deliver additional parts when needed. Finally, they were respectful of our home and left it clean and undamaged. The Bartlett team was a pleasure to work with from start to finish… very customer service oriented. I would definitely use Bartlett again.

Fantastic company. I was in the market for either a Trane or Carrier unit and ultimately decided to go with the best installer among those two options. I opted for Bartlett and have not been disappointed with my Carrier system. I have installed 3 Carrier HVAC systems with Bartlett, and they have been price competitive while offering top notch service. The installations were clean, on time, and professional. No carpet stains or damage to the house, and they were careful to lay down floor covering to prevent tracking in mud and dirt from the outside. The duct work was also top notch and has greatly improved air flow. In one case, I had them install the thermostat in a less than ideal location. After realizing my mistake, I asked them to move it to a better location, which they promptly came back out for and placed in a better spot at no charge (despite the initial location being my fault). We recently had a heat pump installed in the basement. Carrier did not have the unit available in time, and Bartlett was able to get me a free upgrade to a better unit without asking me for another dime (and I already got a good quote to begin with). Post install service has also been great, and the 10 year warranty is a huge plus. Their ongoing maintenance package (needed by most installers to get long-term warranty on labor should something break) is more affordable than some of their competitors, so it's certainly something to consider when choosing an installer. They definitely know what they are doing and will not rip you off. I should also mention that Brandon installed 2 of our 3 systems and did a great job both times. Everyone we have worked with has been very knowledgeable and professional.

They did a great job problem solving the various adjustments that needed to be made since the system was placed in a slightly different location than the original furnace per my request. I'm writing this review after Technician Tommy came to my house to fix my broken A/C today. He went above and beyond to not only fix everything that was wrong, but did it in such a professional way. He took the time to educate me on everything, and I really appreciated that as a new homeowner. At one point, rain started to pour really hard outside but he took his umbrella and continued to work like it wasn't a big deal. I don't think many technicians would have done that. Originally went with Bartlett for HVAC via Yelp and have been quite satisfied with my choice...much of that has to do with the service technician who has always been the same man, Jerry. I like always having the same person as overtime it adds to one's comfort level. He's helpful, gives some good tips and also some recommendations however I have to put off some recommendations for the sake of managing fixed incomes. I'll qualify my next general remark with I'm relatively new to Marietta/Cobb County and so am not really calibrated on costs of parts/service for most things like HVAC, plumbing, & electricity but, comparing to my costs over 33 years years with the same outstanding supplier down in Albany, Ga., it appears to me that the cost for parts are on high side....but again Albany/SouthWest Georgia was a very different market than Marietta/Cobb County and so costs may likewise reflect somewhat differently. I'll stay with Bartlett. The service is great and when I find a dependable service provider, I stay.

Our HVAC system on the main level of our house went out (furnace from 1987 and air conditioner 1989 so we were on borrowed time). I called to five different companies, and Bartlett was the only one that didn't try to scare me into buying a unit via trigger pull; they allowed me time to think, gather more quotes, and work at my own pace. I used an original quote from the first company to base everything else off of, and when I called the office they were upfront and honest about their scheduling. They informed me on how far out they were and they even were able to get me on the phone with Travis, who not only knew my neighborhood but could give me a ball park figure as to what I could expect. They then sent Dusty out to give a formal quote and I am beyond thrilled. He took just enough time to explain everything fully, but not too much time to where I thought he overstayed his welcome; lets just say he also took the time to get to know a little bit about us which I appreciate and love about a home grown company. He broke everything down on what items I would need, the price of each component we could upgrade to (which were financially manageable less than $200 per item), and he then told us how to save the most money by ordering our filters for our units and having the technicians install them with our service plan. He informed me he is salary and not commission based, so there would be no scare tactics involved. He knew we didn't work in the industry so he informed us of all the information about the HVAC system that we would need based on the size of our home; which he then calculated off the top of his head with only having seen the basement and the tonnage of our current AC units. He was only 100 square feet off.....(IMPRESSIVE)!!! I remembered based on the call with Travis that there was an air scrubber/purifier that I could add on, and Dusty presented that to me as well, and they did not pressure me into buying it; however I decided based on our pets and children with dust allergies and asthma to go ahead an add it on (based on my decision alone). Now, here is the icing on the cake, they were able to do my install three days later by working their employees overtime, so I didn't have to sit in the heat for a week and a half later. I honestly cannot begin to express my enthusiasm with this company! Our install will be done on Saturday and today is Wednesday and I will happily do another review on the install separate from the sales team which I don't anticipate being anything but amazing! Update: the install team was fast, on time, and awesome! They were courteous that my family was still sleeping and they did everything they needed to efficiently. They were friendly and took the time to Explain the aspects of our HVAC system! So thankful we went with this company!

We've used Bartlett for more than a decade now. We're very pleased. Recently, both the upstairs and main units stopped working. Bartlett came out quickly, identified the solution required an electrician, and helped us get to the right electrician. The electrician replace the exterior disconnect box and breakers to get the upstairs A/C working., but the main A/C still would not work. Bartlett came back the next day and got the main A/C unit working again. We highly recommend Bartlett!

I had a new unit put in my upstairs and asked Bartlett to return several times to fine-tune the system to my specific needs. They didn’t argue with me like so many other companies have in the past. Very good customer service, but a waste of $450... *** PLEASE READ BOTTOM EDIT *** The positives: Both the phone representative and the technician were friendly and professional. They were prompt and on time, and made a second trip the same day when the issue wasn't resolved. Good customer service can be hard to find these days, so the two stars I am giving Bartlett is a result of that. The negatives: Not being very forthcoming about what the $85 fee did and didn't cover, and ultimately failing to diagnose a very large leak before giving a complete recharge to my unit (hence a waste of $450). I am not an expert in the field, but I have worked in appliance repair and with refrigeration... and have dealt with some similar components. I did not have all of the tools or the time to attempt this repair myself so I thought it would be best to call an HVAC company. I do know that refrigerant is in a sealed system, and if you are low... there may be a leak. If you have an old system, and haven't had refrigerant added in maybe a decade or longer... you may have a very slow leak and be alright for many more years with just a re-charge. However, there is always a risk of there being a larger leak and the re-charge being a waste of money (which was my case)... My system was completely re-charged by Bartlett, but the air temperature coming our of my vents an hour later was just under 80 degrees. I called Bartlett and informed them, and the technician made another trip. This is when it was determined that there was a large leak in my evaporator coil. To me, a leak this large should have been determined earlier. I explained to both the phone representative and the technician that I had a re-charge done 3-4 years ago. It made sense that there was a leak, but I would have been satisfied with my system only cooling for another 2-4 years before deciding on whether I would attempt another recharge or go for a more expensive yet permanent fix . The information about my last re-charge should have given more of a reason to make sure the system was holding it's PSI before doing another full re-charge... the gauges will show you this. Even if you had to add a little freon to get a good reading... it would have made more sense to me to add some freon, then wait 10-15 minutes..... and double checking the PSI before topping off the system. It would have been completely acceptable to me if although the problem wasn't fixed, I only had to pay the $85 fee and possibly for a small amount of freon if it was necessary for some to be added in order to determine the leak. However.... $450 down the drain. EDIT: Updating review after being contacted by management... Bartlett created a solution that was MORE than fair. My situation was rare... and although I believe there was possibilities of some things being done differently, they didn't allow a situation where a large amount of money was spent with no improvement. Their customer service and desire to treat people fairly outweighs all else. I will most likely be contacting them again when I am able to replace my system....

Bartlett Heating and Cooling recently installed a brand new system with all new ductwork and basically replaced everything related to my air conditioning and heating system. Previous experience with 5 years worth of other technicians making temporary repairs to the system a couple of times a year, every year, really clouded my judgment and expectations. I had a completely positive and wonderful experience with the technicians that performed my installation. They did a fantastic job, listened to what I needed, zoned to increase and keep airflow consistent in my split level home, added intake vents, even replaced some insulation for me that would have been blocked by the new airducts installed. They cleaned everything up and left it better than they found it. They walked me through my new thermostat and answered all of my questions. The same night the installation was complete, airflow wasn't blowing out of the vents like we had expected. I called in a panic worried that this was the best the system could do, based on my previous experiences with AC technicians and companies, and they reassured me that they would send someone first thing in the morning. They did and I had two people call me and a text message from someone by 730am. In fact, I even got a call from the owner of the company herself by 8am. This company treats people like family and the customer service I received is exceptional and more then I expected and has blown away. The technicians arrived by 9am, listen to my concerns, diagnosed the problem immediately and resolved the issue, while explaining everything and giving me confidence in them. They made adjustments to the damper among a few other things and even walked through additional settings with me to help further increase efficiency for me. The air is blowing so hard that it's blowing hanging chimes on the ceiling. I am so grateful to I have learned about this company and I feel like I'm very lucky to have a company that doesn't take advantage of me and my family and truly wants to take care of me and my home. It's a huge relief and I'm no longer worried that I will ever have the air conditioning issues like I've had in the past when technician say they can't resolve and it's the best they can do. Every year I wonder, why do I pay for this service plan? Maybe this year I will save and not pay for the plan. Well, the answer came true. Last week on a Thursday night, our downstairs air was out. It was only like the 30th day it had been in the 90s in Atlanta. Of course, it was after 5pm. I called and left voice mail. We were leaving at 9am the next morning on a flight. Probably within 10 minutes I received a call from Bartlett. Within 2 hours someone came to the house, worked for 1-2 hours in the dark and in out attic. Diagnosis was made and part needed to be ordered. Part came in on Monday morning and they were there with it. DONE. Perfect customer service. Incredible follow up. They texted me as I was in the air flying to our destination with what the plan would be on Monday morning. So at the end of the day, this was the smoothest home issue I have had in years. (Also, it was a huge win that we were out of town with the high heat that weekend.). Basic lesson of - you get what you pay for. SO WORTH IT!!! I highly recommend.
