My wife & I wanted to install AC and replace an older (1996) gas furnace in our home in Albuquerque, and I requested quotes from three companies. After factoring in estimates for necessary electrical work, Axiom's was moderately higher than the cheapest offer but only slightly higher than the third. We decided to go with Axiom because of the personal recommendation we had and because they were the only company ready to subcontract the electrical work. From the initial quote to the installation, I really appreciated the communication and patience with my questions Mario, Ken and Kayla showed. In particular, Mario was understanding about our request for a heat pump system (our house had solar installed by the prior owner) and made clear up front that the manufacturer had a backlog and there would be some time before installation, and Kayla provided appropriately paced status updates along the way. The two day installation went as smoothly as I could've hoped. I interacted only briefly with Eddie and Herby, and spent a longer time with Ken to learn about the system they'd installed. The team was professional and clear about what was happening throughout the installation, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the work areas were when they left. The system has been in use for several weeks and, and while we haven't had extended periods of extreme cold to test its capacity, what we have noticed is that it's maintaining temperature much more consistently than the old unit and we're looking forward to testing the cooling this summer. Overall, we'd recommend Axiom and we plan to contact them again for a minisplit project we hope to have done next year.

They were punctual, efficient and very kind to all on our property (3 dogs, 2 goats & lots of chickens). Barbara & Jan We are grateful to our installation team Ken, Eddie and Herbey. We contacted Axiom after a maintenance check of our HVAC system revealed a high level of carbon monoxide. The owner, Mario, responded quickly and advised us we needed a new system. He sent his excellent team within a week to install a Trane system. They were professional and worked quickly and efficiently and left everything clean. Ken took the time to explain the system and how the thermostat works. Ken, Eddie and Herbey spent three days removing our old gas furnaces and installing a heat pump system for heating and cooling. Eddie, Herbey and Ken installed two new furnaces in our house. They worked all day and left the place clean and swept. Kayla at Axiom then scheduled the city inspection. In dealing with the folks at Axiom, I appreciated that they always called a half hour before they showed up, and they showed up on time for every appointment. The estimate was also sent within a day of Mario’s visit, whereas we never received the estimate from another company. I would definitely go back to Axiom and would recommend them to others.

This is the second time I have used Axiom Home Services. this time they removed my old tank water heater and installed a tankless water heater. from the start: I called in an made an appointment to get a quote. I received an appointment a few days later and the owner Mario showed up. we talked about what I was hoping to get with a new system, he explained my options and shared with me an up front cost and summary of the work that was going to take place. when i decided to approve the job they worked with my schedule and gave me an appointment a few days later. Aaron, Eddie and Ken showed up as promised, started working through out the morning. they were on time, professional and even took the time to explain to me the work they were doing as I checked in throughout the day. in the afternoon when they were done they cleaned up, vacuumed the area and honestly left my garage cleaner than it was when they showed up! Having used Axiom for my Trane system install I know they stand behind their work, they are professional and they care. I highly recommend them for your plumbing and HVAC needs.

The folks at Axiom did an outstanding job with my complete HVAC upgrade. It's an ultra-friend, family owned business -- owner Mario, his wife Melody and daughter Kayla run the operations. They and their crew were helpful and cooperative throughout - first for some maintenance on my prior system, and then this month the installation of an all-new refrigerated air conditioner (Trane) and furnace (also Trane), thermostat, and so forth. The guys who did the installation -- Ken, Eddie and Herbey -- were great, professional, friendly, efficient. The new system makes a huge difference in comfort, especially during this July heatwave. Axiom represents the top manufacturer - Trane - and they did a first-quality job. I recommend them very highly, whether for your repair, or for a system update. Money very well spent! Jim C

Did a conversion from evaporative cooler to a new A/C and heater system at my daughter's house. Very professional and excellent service from the technicians. They were due to arrive at 9am and were there at 8:30am ready to work. They removed the old furnace and evaporative cooler that was on the roof, capped the cooler opening and installed the new A/C and heater system. The work was completed by 3pm and the complete system runs excellently. The technicians that performed the work, Eddie, Ken, and Herbey were very nice and answered all of my questions and inquiries in an excellent manner. I highly recommend Axiom Home Services to anyone looking for a new system or conversion like I had done. The owner Mario was very helpful and explanatory when I called him about inquiries that I had. Will definitely utilize them again in the future should I ever need to replace the system at my house. The city inspectors even commented on the good work that was done when they inspected the system.

On the recommendation of a neighbor who we know to be very particular, we hired Axiom Home Services to install a heating/cooling split in our master bedroom. Mario visited our home to survey our needs and provide a quote - very professional and no high pressure! We accepted the quote and made a deposit. Axiom made an appointment for the install and arrived promptly on the date promised. Eddie and Aaron were an amazing team of installers - a real team that obviously knew what they were doing and worked together so efficiently - they had the unit installed very quickly. Arnulfo, the electrical subcontractor, was equally amazing. He had to run electrical conduit from our panel, across our flat roof, and down the side of the house to the outside unit. Again, the electrical work was very professionally done! Ken supervised the work, kept us informed of progress, and gave us a complete checkout and operating instructions upon completion. We were completely comfortable and at ease during the entire process, and we're so grateful to our neighbor for recommending Axiom, and so pleased with their work. Kudos to Aaron, Eddie and Ken for a job very well done! Now we need to save our money and order splits for the remainder of the house. The units are so quiet and efficient - we can't wait to get rid of our noisy evaporative coolers.

We need a new furnace. Mario came out and explained what he recommended and answered all of our questions. He said he did not sell a service package because he did his work right the first time. Other companies come out and did indeed try to sell service packages as much as furnaces. We felt best about going with Axiom. Shortly thereafter Ken came out to do the specific house measuring to determine our heater size. Then a week later he was back with Aaron and Eddie to complete the installation. This team of 3 worked half a day putting in our new furnace, and had to deal with me watching their work and asking questions. They were great, and our furnace is working well.

Replaced water heater - All of your guys are great! Water heater leaked, Aaron and Eddie came out the next day to check it out, Ken delivered the new water heater and all 3 of the guys had it installed in no time! Very professional, cleaned up when finished so well that you couldn't tell they were here working. We called Axiom because 8 years ago they installed a new furnace and refrigerated air system. From the start to the completion of the new Trane furnace, the experience was incredible. After having other companies come to my home for estimates and never returning or gave the impression they did not know what they were doing, Mario took time out of his busy schedule and made a visit. He knew what was needed to get the job done without taking a bunch of photos and fanfare and made suggestions that would help reduce my gas bill. He also suggested a Wi-Fi thermostat to fix problem with the location of the old thermostat. On the day the unit was to be installed Ken gave me a call to let me know they were on the way. Both Ken and Eddie arrived on time and began the installation. As a team they worked individually and collectively. They came prepared with all the parts needed to complete the job. Both Ken and Eddie answered any question I had and patiently took the time to explain how to use my new furnace and thermostat. The whole crew at AXIOM Home Services was fantastic! We had our 20 year old house converted to refrigerated air. Mario came and provided the quote, which was not only more reasonable than the other 3 or 4 vendors we had quotes from, but he was also quoting better equipment! Ken came and performed a load calculation to be sure they would be properly sizing the equipment (Our old furnace was much too large for the house). Kayla, in the office, kept us informed about the schedule. Eddie, Herbey, and Ken arrived on time and did an excellent job removing the old swamp coolers and installing the new furnace and A/C unit. Axiom Home Services installed a refrigerated air and furnace unit in our home. We spoke to five competitors and received two formal quotes prior to talking with Mario the owner of Axiom and receiving a quote. While all three quotes were competitive, Axiom's knowledge, customer service, installation and product quality is ten stars above the competition. Ken mapped our house, measured all of our rooms and inspected the vents prior to starting to be sure we receive the right size unit for the size and lay out of our home. None of the competitors we spoke with offered this. The competitors were going to take our money to install a larger unit than what was needed, not only costing us more for the larger unit but also more on our energy bills. During installation, Ken Eddie and Aaron exceeded our expectations. They are experienced technicians who went up and above paying attention to even the smallest details to make sure everything was installed correctly and to our liking. They even took the time to replace a fitting that wasn't installed correctly on our hot water heater and replaced part of our platform that the furnace unit sits on. Installation was finished in less than a day and everything was neat and clean when they were finished. We are glad we decided to use Axiom Home Services. This has been a great experience from start to finish which is rare in todays world. We recommend Axiom to everyone!!

First, this is delayed, but very well deserved, as we met with Mario back in mid-February to finally upgrade from swamp to refrigerated air. We also had Axiom replace the furnace and hot water heater. The Axiom team of Aaron, Eddie and Ken were terrific, as they were on time and very professional and polite. The Axiom team was very clean in their work and efficient. We had hot water on day one, but job was a bit bigger/tougher than expected and they were back on day 2 and did a great job to finish. The new heater and water heater worked like a champ in the last days of winter and heated our home very well. Now that it has finally become warmer, we are using the air conditioner daily and it too is terrific in cooling the entire home. So nice to have refrigerated air. We highly recommend Axiom if you are looking to upgrade/replace your current HVAC system, they are worth it for sure. Thank you Axiom!

Axiom was fantastic to work with! We had gotten at least 6 bids from various companies in the area that installed various systems (York, Lennox, Carrier, Heil, Rudd,...) prior to discovering Axiom. After a bit of research we had decided that we wanted to look into Trane systems b/c they're ranked highly, great warranty, real users were happy with their units longterm, etc. We found Axiom through Trane's website (they're a preferred provider for Trane), and called to set up an appointment. We met with Mario, the owner, who has decades of experience in the biz, was super knowledgeable, and he was able to advise us on the best option for our situation. His prices were fair and reasonable and communication was very streamlined and efficient. Finally, I knew we had found our provider! If you've done your research, then you know the install of your new unit is just as important as the unit you pick! The install team, Ken, Aaron, & Eddie did a phenomenal job! They took pride in their work, were very professional, answered any questions, and did a great job on the install! We've had our new HVAC & Furnace in for almost two weeks and it has been AMAZING! Mario nailed it with his recommendations and suggestions for our concerns/problems that we had had with our previous unit. I highly recommend Axiom for your HVAC/Furnace needs, they are THE BEST!!! I am so happy with this entire HVAC experience, starting with Mario’s no pressure sales approach, Ken’s thorough evaluation of my home to ensure the system was sized properly, Ken and Eddie’s extremely professional and trouble free installation, Arnulfo’s attention to detail during the electrical work ensuring everything was done to code, Kayla’s prompt registration of the unit with Trane and circling back to Mario patiently answering my post-install questions. The furnace is everything that was promised and I am anticipating a very comfortable summer. I wish all businesses were run with the integrity and capability of Axiom! We bought a house 3 years ago with a Mitsubishi ductless air conditioner in the bedroom. We like to sleep cold, so we rely on the unit nightly. We recently discovered that the warranty on the unit, which Axiom had installed, was not transferable to new owners, but Axiom opted to extend it anyway for a nominal fee. Thereupon, the unit promptly stopped cooling. They sent a technician who did what he could, eventually getting the thing to cool - briefly. That night, it again failed. We went through three more attempts to make the necessary repairs, the last of them taking many hours. Nothing worked. The owner then called and said he was replacing it with a whole new unit! We gratefully accepted. The new ac is now installed, working perfectly, and delivering blissfully cool sleep to us. Thank you, Axiom people, for superb service!

I finally went with a home AC System in 2022. After shopping around, I went with Axiom Home Services. Unlike other bigger AC companies they were very nice and low pressure. They did not talk smack about other companies they simply gave me their best offer up front and right away on the first visit. Other companies came back several times, each time insisting they were the boss of the person I already spoke with, and they could personally talk to the owner, and give me a better deal if I would just negotiate with them again. In the end it turns out that Axiom Home Services is the good old fashioned experienced mom and pop operation I was looking for. Since they were a family operated business their overhead was reasonable and much lower than others so they did not need to add an extra couple thousand dollars on top of my price to cover their marketing operation and extra unnecessary staff. Mario and his wife Melody are just good people. Ken and Eddie were the engineering and install guys. They were very nice and explained everything, and I asked a lot of questions. I saw Ken hauling a Shop-Vac, and Duct Paint into my attic. It turned out he said the Truck or main duct was a little dirty so he was just going to vacuum it out, and he found some rust below my cooler duct so he wanted to stop the rust and seal it up right. Ken did not need to do that, and any other company might have just sealed up the duct after removing my old Swap Cooler, and not said anything, and I would have never known. This is the kind of attention to detail that I really appreciated in my personal forever home. These guys might not have been around for 100 years like others might like to brag about, but they have been around for a while. Other companies might be over 100 years old, but do you know how long the guy installing your system has been working in this field or for that company, “NOPE”. At Axiom it turns out Mario his wife Melody, Ken, and Eddie, and not to forget their personal electricians are all friends that have known each other for decades. The attention to detail I observed is because they care about this company and the owners who have cared for them for many years since this company started. They are all personal friends and a business family. Today the Rio Rancho Inspectors showed up. If you know Rio Rancho their inspectors are really very picky. My inspection went perfect, and the inspector commented on how clean and neat the work was done. I just found out today that Axiom Home Services is Train’s awarded top installer, and now I know why. This confirmed to me, that Axiom was the way to go. These guys are definitely getting 5 stars!

The owner, Mario, was very likeable and straight forward and did not have any sales pitches...just a quality product at good prices compared to the other two bids I had. Ken always called in advance to arrival, and was also very likeable and worked efficiently, as well as taking the time to answer my questions and show how everything worked after the job was done. And Ken was very respectful to Eddie and Herbey (the other worker guys...who were also good people) and it was comforting to hear them working together as a team. Plus they actually finished a little earlier than predicted and cleaned up after themselves. Top notch.

I needed my discontinued A/C unit replaced, which meant replacing the furnace as well since it was an AquaTherm unit. The owner, Mario, was so kind and professional. While I'd had about 4 other quotes prior, Mario took one look at my setup and knew what it would take - the other companies spent time evaluating and measuring but Mario is so experienced in the business, he just knew. The removal and installation was done by Ken and Eddie. These two are superstars. They absolutely went above and beyond in the quality and attention to detail of their jobs. They repaired things they saw as potentially problematic just because they felt it was the right thing to do. They could have left it alone but the integrity, which I believe is led by example in Mario, would not allow them to ignore. What a splendid experience it is to work with Mario @ Axiom Home Services. My home still had the original late 50's wall heaters & coolers and needed updating to a ductless mini split heating/cooling system, Mario is extremely detailed in evaluating your home's needs . Not only does he think out-of-the-box, he's unconventional and on the money in outlining what system(s) would be best suited for your style of home. He's the only contractor out of 7 interviewed, that provided a detailed analysis and worksheet of BTU loads for each zone in my home. He is truly transparent with his findings and discusses each aspect of the proposal in detail (and in layman's terms) to make sure the equipment is properly sized, efficient and cost effective for the site. The crew at Axiom is perhaps Mario's best kept secret. The crew for my install (Ken, Aaron & Eddie) were courteous, knowledgeable and kept me apprised at each step along the way. Their quality of workmanship, care and neatness were beyond reproach. Can't say enough about my new HVAC equipment and how satisfied I am with Axiom Home Services and Crew! After looking at several vendors of AC and furnace equipment we decided to go with Trane. Trane has a long history making quality products. Axiom Home Services has a long history installing Trane equipment. The Axiom team came on time and I could tell right away that they were all experienced .They worked efficiently and well together. Removing the old system and installing the new AC and furnace took a little over a day. One of the crew, Ken, took the time to go over everything I needed to know about the system and the smart thermostat programming. In the end, they left us with a beautiful and professionally installed system that functions perfectly.

We discovered the floor radiant heating system had several serious issues during the first winter we were in the house two years ago. The radiant heating system was 20 years old and “band aid” fixes didn’t help. The heat pump air conditioning system had the old freon as the working fluid which is in short supply due to environmental rules in place, hence would be difficult to maintain in the future. We had a Trane heating/cooling system in our previous house that worked well. We had several quotes addressing both the radiant system and the heat pump system problems with other companies. We did not believe these proposed solutions would resolve our heating/cooling problem. We saw Mario’s Trane advertisement in the weekly neighborhood news publication. We discussed a variety of heating/cooling options configured specifically for this house and its quirks with Mario. We settled on a hybrid heat pump/gas furnace system that fits into the available space. Ken measured the various house parameters needed to design a complete system and sized the system components required for this house. Ken and Eddie removed the old system and installed the new components. Ken said he really enjoys building these systems because it involves ingenuity and creativity to get all the new systems parts integrated into the space occupied by the old system. The completed job looks great and works great. Ken and Eddie are an efficient and professional team. Ken worked with us to add the web based digital controller to our network, which integrates into the Trane network. Ken patiently explained in detail the operation of the digital controller for the HVAC system. The administrative support staff (Kayla) was helpful and pleasant to work with. We recommend Axiom for HVAC projects.

So, we've given our new system about two weeks to see how well it works. And boy, does it work. We're so glad we hired Axiom. We got three quotes, and Axiom was the first quote we got and the one we ended up going with. The other two companies just didn't suit our needs; the second company showed up an hour and half late to the quote we scheduled along with talking poorly of other companies, and the third company was about $8,000 more expensive. Mario came out personally to look at what we needed, and give us our options. He saw that our water heater was not up to code, and included that with the installation with our new system. I have been doing business with Axiom Home Services since March of 2013 when Mario and his crew installed a complete Trane heating and air conditioning system along with a new water heater in my home. I had an existing hot water recirculating pump attached to my old hot water heater. Mario took a look at the pump and said it was too small for the size of my house and to call him when it failed and he would install a larger pump that would better serve my needs. In November of 2018 the hot water recirculating pump finally failed. I called Mario and he sent out Aaron, Eddie and Ken to assess the situation and determine what would be best for my needs. They installed a new hot water recirculating pump that is more powerful, more efficient and uses less electrical energy. I now have hot water at all of my faucets in even less time. The work was performed in a very professional manner and I cannot say enough about the care that Aaron, Eddie and Ken took to ensure the job was first rate. I had some issues with my heater and air conditioner. I had very little air out of most of the registers and it seemed like the heater and air conditioner ran all of the time. Then, my control board started having intermittent problems. I contacted Mario about replacing both. We wanted to wait to give our review until we received a full month of our electric bill after our Swamp cooler to Refrigerated AC conversion. Mario came to our home the day we called for a quote, he was $1500 to $2000.00 below the other two quotes we received. Nick and Ken showed up a couple days later to take measurements, they were friendly and professional. Ken, Nick, Aaron and Eddie came back as scheduled right on time and the install was complete by 5:00. The install was done early July, the temps very hot (mid 90s to low 100s all month). We just received our electric bill, it is $130.11 for a 1500 sq foot house. We are very pleased with the service we received!

Axiom Home Services replaced our aging HVAC system with a new Trane system. We could not be more pleased as both the heating and cooling have been tested in the last two weeks of temperature extremes. One of the selling points of the new air conditioner is its quiet operation; at one point, though the house was a perfectly comfortable temperature, we had to hold our hands right in front of a vent to convince ourselves it was actually running. Wow. The installation team was efficient, prompt, and professional. My wife & I are extremly pleased with all our contacts with, and work done by, the full-time staff of Mario Loprinzi, owner of Axiom Home Services. We received the lowest cost available for the replacement of our over powered, faulty functioning whole house furnace and airconditioning systems in 2016. This was preceded by a complete, highly technical evaluation/determination of the most suitable Trane equipment for our home, which helped me avoid purchasing over-powered, over priced equipment. Mr. Loprinzi and Ken, his master environmental technition, were always available to answer all of our questions, before, during and after the replacement of the faulty equipment. The complete replacement was accomplished in less than 2 hours and the cleanup, inside and outside our home, was meticulous. We have had four years of wonderful service provided by Mario Loprinzi and his entire well trained, very knowledgeable staff. In May of this year (2020) it was discovered that pack rats and mice had gained entrance into our wonderful outside A C units and destroyed all the electronic components. Mario responded immeditely to our call for help. Ken and other staff examined both units and presented their comprehensive findings to Mario, who then worked with our insurance company and the Trane company to help us obtain full replacement cost for new Trane equipment that he recommended. Several days ago, members of his staff including Ken, Aaron & Eddie, performed their usual magic, and in several hours had removed the damaged units, replaced them with new Trane units, cleaned up the entire areas, and took measures to help prevent similar destruction in the future. We remain extremely pleased with the services continuously provided by Mario Loprinzi's Axiom Home Services, and highly recommend his company to anyone needing home heating and/or air conditioning.

Then Mario came by from Axiom Home Services and “blew me away” with an estimate for the same level of equipment that was thousands less than the other three offers. After reviewing the written proposal I cancelled the estimate appointment with the fifth company and accepted the offer from Axiom Home Services. Unlike the other companies that just “eyeballed” my home and made recommendations on the unit sizes, Mario had Ken come to my home to measure the size of each room, check the size and location of each HVAC register and air return registers along with window and door construction and location and overall roof composition and home insulation. This information was used to determine my unit sizes and ultimately resulted in installing a 4 ton A/C unit instead of 5 ton A/C (proposed by other estimates) which should result in significantly lower operating costs this summer. Ken and his crew of Aaron and Eddie arrived promptly on the installation date and were professional and efficient in the removal and disposal of the old units and in the installation of my new furnace and refrigerated A/C. Unbelievably the entire process including a new smart wi-fi connected thermostat with a remote sensor was completed by 4:30 pm in one day. After the installation Mario called to make sure everything was satisfactory and to answer any questions about the operation of the thermostat or furnace. The entire process from estimate to completed installation on 1/23/20 was 10 days. So far I have been extremely pleased with the operation of the two stage furnace and look forward to the switchover to refrigerated air this summer. Two hearty “thumbs up” for Axiom Home Services.

Our experience with Axiom, and the owner Mario, has been stellar since day one. The installation crew showed up on time and operated like a well oiled machine all day, every day they were here. They were professional and helpful every step of the way. When it was discovered that some of our vent was rotted due to a faulty humidifier, Mario quickly came up with a solution at a more than reasonable price, (including the drywall repair and painting necessitated by the vent repairs!) Finally, we had an issue with the system on a holiday, I left a message with Axiom with little hope of getting a call back. My furnace stopped working at night during this recent cold snap and I called Axiom. Mario walked me through some things to check on the phone and it appeared to be a failed blower motor. Mario had Ken B. at my house first thing the next morning. Ken confirmed that it was a failed blower motor, ordered it from Trane FedEx overnight, and replaced it the next day. He also replaced the circuit board since there was a question on whether it was possibly faulty. The parts were covered under the Trane factory warranty.
