I feel so incredibly fortunate to have worked with the thoughtful team at GW. After experiencing an awful house fire, they were kind, thoughtful, diligent, and provided complete wrap around service and care. I experienced the fire at the height of supply shortages, their determination, patience, and professionalism meant that the work kept moving even during incredibly challenging times. I really cannot recommend them enough. They helped me through each step of the process and understood the weight of loss I’d experienced. The whole team was really wonderful and the house looks beautiful!

G.W. Savage was there for us when we needed them. They started off by boarding up our home after fire fighters were finished putting out the fire at out home. We met with them the following day to discuss plans for fixing our home. We worked with them until the job was complete. The whole team at G W Savage were very professional and timely. Had a water leak that saturated our downstairs, the guys showed quickly and cleaned up the water, set up fans and dehumidifiers and started drying the carpets, ceilings, walls. Nate and Ryan finished up the job very efficiently! Would certainly recommend these guys and GW Savage Company.

In August a 2nd floor water heater burst and flooded a large area in our offices. What a mess! I wanted a LOCAL company involved in the clean up and called GW Savage. It was a good call! Their crew arrived quickly and immediately set up to dry us out. This was a big job and unfortunately the floor and subfloor had to be cut out. Jason, our assigned Project Manager was truly professional. He knew what needed to be done and did a great job directing his workers. I discovered water damage in my basement leaking down from my bathroom. It was a Friday evening and GW Savage came out immediately after my call. They began the process to locate the source of the leak and started drying things out right away! They came daily to check on the progress of the drying and assess the extent of the damage. After thoroughly investigating and having my Home Owners insurance adjuster out it was decided that the extent of the water damage was going to require my entire bathroom to be torn out. Sean Vance helped me redesign the space to make it more efficient. Chris Abbott (the project manager) and the rest of the team that did the work were phenomenal. Chris helped get everything ordered so my son and I would only need to be in an Air BNB for 3 weeks while they completed the entire bathroom project. They communicated well with any changes that needed to take place. They were professional, timely and sympathetic to the situation. I can’t recommend this team enough! They went above and beyond and despite this initially feeling like a tragedy I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of my new bathroom.

A pipe burst in our home burst while we were away. The first level floors were floating and the basement ceiling came down. Walls, cabinets, bathrooms, rugs, furniture ruined. GW Savage was there within hours of being contacted. The house was dried and mildew prevention was done behind affected, wet walls to prevent later problems. We then contracted them for the restoration. They met with us to pick materials and discuss design changes. I would easily recommend them for damage control, clean-up and teatoration. They are professional, courteous, know what emergency means, and have the tools available to help with product and design choices.

After the wind storm at the end of October we thought all we lost were some shingles, but the following Saturday I saw that there was also a leak. I called GW Savage around 11:00 AM on Saturday, the 4th and a crew was out within two hours to cover/seal the area that was leaking. The crew was polite and professional. I was able to call Monday morning with a credit card to pay. Besides being so responsive, GW Savage was sooooooo easy to work with. The folks at G. W. Savage are first rate professionals. A week ago, my 93 year old mother in law woke up at 3 am to running water in her home. She lives alone. After putting on her slippers, she slushed through the water to discover that the hose between the shut-off valve and the toilet in her bathroom had burst and water had covered a good portion of her ranch style home. She immediately shut off the water at the valve, then called her grandson who happened to be out plowing snow and he came right over. Together they began the process of mopping up. It was apparent they would need some "professional" help so the grandson called G. W. Savage who said they would have a crew out to her home in a few hours. Sure enough at 8:30 am a crew rolled in and immediately went to work with vacuums, blowers, and dehumidifiers on both the living floor and the basement. Within a few hours, they had all the remaining free standing water cleaned up and had installed vacuum mats over the affected hardwood floors. They listened carefully to the needs of my elderly mother in law who insisted on staying in her home. They set things up so as to avoid any trip hazards and explained their approach to family members in a very understandable way. Each day, they would return to the residence to take moisture measurements and reconfigure the drying system. No matter who was on the crew, they were all most respectful. A week later, they returned to retrieve the last of the fans and dehumidifier. The moisture levels were all in the acceptable range and the hardwood floors were saved. What a great combination of professionalism, sufficient high quality equipment and customer respect -two thumbs up!! Would recommend G. W. Savage without hesitation.

A few weeks ago there was a fire next door to where I live. When the fire dept. arrived and hooked up the firehose, the sudden water pressure change caused my 'ancient' hot water tank to start leaking out water. The carpet was soaked. I mean sopping wet. I called G.W. Savage . They sent out an agent (Gary) that soon arrived with a dehumidifier and an industrial fan-blower . Within 24 hours I was dry and back in shape. ( I did need a new hot water tank ). I have to say, G.W. was quick to respond, price seemed great and they were easy to work with. Thumbs up !
