His receptionist, Janet, and his assistant, Milka, were kind and eager to welcome me to the practice. They met my needs by answering all questions and concerns . Dr. Diasti was great. I have been very happy with RoseAnna and the rest of the staff through the pandemic and my changing health. They follow up and follow through. I was looking for a seasoned Board Certified Internal Medicine physician with a breadth of clinical experience. His self effacing, soft-spoken, and kind bedside manner were welcoming and authentic. I have seen several of the doctors at this practice for one reason or another. Mostly Sydney Weaver, but I agree she is highly professional as they all are. They're all friendly, they take the time to answer your questions, don't put you out the door so they can get the next person in, and genuinely care for you. I can't say enough good things about them and have recommended them to friends and family. I have been going to them since 2005 and have never had a bad experience. Not only the doctors but the receptionist, the schedulers, the nurses, everybody there goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and to help you with whatever the reason for your visit is.

Had a Covid test today. As usual the staff was very courteous and attentive. They came out to my car quickly and the results didn't take long either. I saw Dr Nguyen for the first time today (I usually see Dr Latimer at this practice). I got my rapid covid test while sitting in my car, I did have to wait and call them twice before anyone came out to do it. They did the test and had me sit in the car for the video appt. I waited 45 minutes to see the Dr over the phone. This was 30 minutes after my initial appointment time. So he was 30 minutes late. He was very nice, gave me some meds. This practice is worth it, even if I have to wait a little while.

Dr.Weaver learn the patient feelings, physical symptoms and did a through examination. The diagnosis and explanation of the necessary instructions to be followed or she may have to be hospitalized. I have been going to Pinnacle Health Group for a long time. I have found them very attentive to my needs. If I have a problem they figure a way for me to be seen. My appointment today was a Tele visit. Sydney Weaver DNP came on at the correct time. I gave her my temperature, BP, heart rate, she asked a bunch of questions, and sent scripts for some medications. I have been seeing Sydney for a little over a year and I have great respect for her. We work well together and I hope to have her as my primary for years to come.

What good is seeing the Dr. when they set your script up wrong and you can’t reach them to fix it so you end up having to go back to urgent care anyways??

Prior to contacting pinnacle Health, I contacted my OB/GYN for the follow up labs the ER doctor recommended to help determine if my situation was possibly life-threatening to me. My ob/gyn office was called at 8:10am, and was promised a call back with lab orders to check HCG levels. I couldn't wait long, so I contacted Pinnacle Health Group at 9:45am and was squeezed into a telemedicine appointment for 11:30am. Sydney Weaver APRN is awesome. She heard my concerns and acted promptly. I got my labs drawn at 1:15 pm and called my OB/GYN at 3pm to let them know that I no longer needed the doctor to get back to me about labs. Pregnancies aren't always as its explained in a textbook. They are scary, exciting, and sometimes life-threatening. While my OB/GYN office took my concerns lightly knowing my history, Weaver stepped in instead of referring back to the ER for hour or urgent cares that are wrapped around with patients to be screened for covid-19. I am surrounded by doctors' offices but Dr. Diasti's Pinnacle Health Group is worth the drive or the prompt telemedicine appointments. I would only recommend this office for primary care!!!

I went to the Pinnacle Group and saw Dr. Reed for the first time today. They were able to fit me in since I was sick, which is nice really nice since other places couldn't see me until next week! Everyone was nice and helpful. They took me right back. I waited approx. 20-30 in the room for the doctor. This was the only reason I didn't give it a five star but I think it is probably on par with most doctor's offices. When the doctor came in, she really took her time with me (about 15-20 min) and tried to get to the root of the problem. I will definitely go back. I'm glad I finally found a good primary in South Tampa.

I'd like to share my experience with Pinnacle Health Group. A little over 2 years ago I was admitted to Tampa Memorial Hospital for 3 and 1/2 days for extreme pain and I was released because nothing showed up on my labs as to the cause of it. I was referred to P.H.G. to see Dr. Sam Diasti Internal Medicine Specialist. I first met Dr Diasti and he welcomed me with a smile and said we will try to figure out what was wrong together. Since going to the clinic Dr. Diasti and His team have found the root of my illness. Rheumatoid arthritis. Since then I've gone for treatments, routine physicals. During the pandemic it's been extremely difficult to visit the Dr or his staff because of my limitations at times and suffered quietly. I've walked for miles to the market and times from the clinic appointments, etc. because of the covid-19 pandemic. Yesterday, I was blessed to have an opportunity to see Dr. Sam Diasti personally. Before I went to the appt., I prayed to Jesus for Him to guide the Dr.'s mind, heart, and hands before he examined me. 1st Like usual, I was met by the front desk by Mrs. Betsy with a warm greeting and temp, and Rebecah just as warm for weight and vitals. I then waited shortly for Dr. Diasti. As he entered he greeted me but you can tell he was tired from his busy schedule but he smiled from his mask. I told him I'm blessed to see him because I've read about his achievements in from Cairo, Egypt and in the US. He is very accomplished and affiliated in Tampa Bay with The Major Hospitals he took the time to listen to me. Despite the Dr being tired from all the work, he does especially during the Covid 19 pandemic he examined and was very professional. He listened, treated me, and comforted me during my distress in excruciating pain. In times when people don't have time for other or selfishness abounds, I was overwhelmed by Dr Sam's compassion for me and my pain which I suffer silently. In tears I write this letter because in his office he asked and provided a Lyft for my meds and blessed me with dinner for my son and me which was unexpected. Dr. Sam Diasti and his staff are a Godsend. He makes his family proud, is jewel to Tampa Bay, and he has personal gained a brother for life. God bless you Dr. Sam Diasti and your staff for all you do. Keep Shining and thank you again for helping and encouraging me during these testing time. Happy Thanksgiving to you and staff.

I rarely right these unless it’s somebody really worth writing about. Sydney Weaver is an ARNP at Pinnacle Health Group that I can only describe as brilliant. She actually listens to her patients and has amazing diagnostic skills. Most recently I was there for a routine follow-up and my pulse was 32 BPM. Her support team whom are pretty brilliant as well confirmed it was Bradycardia and ran an EKG. Sydney would not let me leave the office and had a very nice tech by the name of Jose’ push me across the parking lot to the emergency room. I wanted to go home first and tend to my dog but Sydney and her student shadowing her at the time implored me to not take the risk due to the severe nature of my condition. Sydney said sudden death was a distinct possibility and that she cared too much about me than to take that risk. I knew she was sincere and I respected her opinion. Jose’ made the short trip in the wheelchair to the emergency department pleasant and I sailed through admittance and into observation with full monitoring. Two hours later I was in the catheter lab having a pacemaker implanted resulting in a new lease on life. Sydney is pretty incredible and a really cool caring person as well. That combination is rare and I can’t say and sincerely mean enough wonderful things about this fine nurse practitioner. She’s got a great staff as well who have the utmost respect and admiration for her. Sydney, no doubt you likely saved my life and I can’t thank you enough! I’m reposting this because you can’t get better than perfect. Sydney Care’s and her follow-up is impeccable!
