Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I never got a chance to experience their care, because before they will even consider talking to you about HRT they require you pay for 1-4 therapy appointments and a letter of recommendation. Sliding scale payment options are available, but they won't do any good if it takes 3 extra visits before seeing a doctor. I hope the physicians rethink their policy, because aside from this massive paywall, they seem like a good company with a good vision. if you're a low-income trans individual like myself, without great insurance, the receptionist recommended Folx or Planned Parenthood. Neither require a letter, you can book an appointment with informed consent immediately.

I have mix feeling as I don't utilize the case management as much.. but DIANE at the health department who recertifies for Ryan White eligibility is AMAZING 🙏💖BUT lately I feel I am not getting the adequate case manangemt, as I feel I'm being questions for the assistance I seek . I'm tired of doing all the leg work with no resolution in sight! its defeats the case mangers position as all they accomplish is endless email's, voicemail and excuse ! now that everyone is about to go on holiday leave,,which now I'm stuck as usual, trying to case management my own outcome as they completely drop the ball and the supervisor is always Ghost thanks for nothing ✌️ I'll figure it out as I always do , HAPPY HOLIDAYS ⛄🙏

Love going to metro everyone is always so helpful and kind. I've never had any issues personally and I've visited this office quite a few time, and will continue to do so.

This is a specialty business for people with specific health needs. Its staff is friendly but sometimes lacking urgency in important time sensitive matters. You definitely will have to remember to keep an open mind and eye on them when receiving services here, but other than that the place is clean and they do their best to help those in the community who are under served get healthcare treatment and personal needs met.

I have been going to counseling at the Tampa location for about three months. They did not accept my health insurance, so my payments were income based. I was paying $40 per visit. I drove monthly, sometimes twice a month, from Lakeland for my appointments. Today I arrive and advised that my payments are now $125 per visit. My income has not changed and they didn't bother to advise me of this major change in payment prior to me wasting time and gas to come to the appointment. Let alone the abrupt hault in counseling services. I was told I could still go to my appointment and just be billed for the remaining balance. Ethically wrong and awful customer service. My counselor was Tyler. He was a decent counselor and helping me, now no help.

The people and doctors are amazing. They are just never open when they say they are. Like right now, it’s 8:16am and it says they are open online. Call and they will tell you they are closed. Happens all the time. Very frustrating. Other than than that. I love this place.

Not your typical Doctors Office. It’s so much better. From Corie, Ebony, Dee, Gia and Kevin...you’ll be taken care of. Amazing staff, amazing atmosphere it’s the best experience at a medical office I’ve ever had. Hands Down. They take care of you like you’re family. You really have to check them out. Make an appointment today at one of their 4 locations. 🙂

Great facility w/ nice looking storefront. Updated tests, inclusive environment, and the staff is diverse and welcoming. Dr. Amber was fantastic, and the MA and PReP navigator were very knowledgeable as well. Been going for 2 yrs for HRT and will continue to go for everything else

WARNIG! Nope😀0 Stars😀WARNING! No physician on staff.. just an NP trying to play doctor who does not know how to prescribe pharmeseuticals. This kind of inept behavior may potentially cause the demise of patients. Do your own research on drugs.com to double check if meds they prescribe have any interactions with your other meds. Very scary this place is allowed to even be granted a license to operate If you are a patient and you complain about their pharmeseutical faux paux they will immediately claim patient has a behavioral problem and start meditating that lie to cover their own short comings. Also they break Florida State law by allowing their medical assistant to answer clinics phone posing as an RN to give medical advice to patients..that is against the law. Then if a patient complains to their office manager at Saint Pete clinic she hops on the band wagon and she begins also giving medical advice..again against the law😀The office manager calls NP and they band together and begin to construe more lies. Spent 15 mins one time with NP ..her staff are liars..I did not curse at anyone..I am an adult over 50 with no mental or substance abuse issues at all..I do not even smoke anything. Metro needs to address these issues ASAP. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone...wish I could. I guess Metro is cutting cost by hiring subpar employees.😀 On closing this facility is Not a trans friendly establishment. Also located in Ybor city which is mob owned. Apparently they run this facility also. So if you have any issues with the mob avoid this clinic.😀

This place is by far the most welcoming health place l been to. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly... Karlie was very helpful. Kudos to all the staff members from the front desk to everyone that l have interacted with. Will recommend this place to anyone.

I had to go to two other clinics first before ending up here and getting the treatment I needed. They were able to see me super quickly even though I was a walk-in and it all cost me $90 despite being here on vacation and not having any insurance whatsoever. Huge thanks to everyone 👍👍👍 …
