I have genetic ankle problems that frequent pain and inflammatory injuries for me. I’ve been to a lot of podiatrists from when I was a dancer to now as a marathon runner yet I’ve never been anywhere as great as this clinic. Dr. Church is extremely knowledgeable and skilled. Definitely the best doctor I’ve been to. He really knows what he’s doing and takes the time to understand issues and concerns in order to make a thorough diagnosis. And for the cherry on top, aside from being a very talented doctor he is also charismatic, makes fun conversation, and has genuine care for his patients well-being. The nurses, and ladies at the front desk are also always so amazing. Honestly the only good thing about frequent ankle problems is this place and the people there.

My son went in for an ingrown toenail that had been hurting him. The staff was excellent. Everyone was kind and knowledgeable. They explained everything to my son prior to the excision of his toenail and he felt at ease. The doctor who performed the procedure was excellent . He was friendly and knew exactly what he was doing. My son who is 16. He Felt very comfortable. Which says a lot because he hates needles. Everything went smoothly. The facility is extremely clean and has a warm welcoming environment. They are very considerate in getting you in for an appointment that fits your schedule. They truly care about your well-being. I would highly recommend going to them for any foot or ankle needs.The Advanced foot and ankle center is awesome. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my son.

First time to a podiatrist and I was nervous I was going to be up sold on every little thing like I have felt in the past at the eye doctor or dental office. But Dr Southerland was fantastic. He educated me on everything so I felt like I could make an informed decision for what was best for my own body. He was GREAT! His staff was friendly and helpful and I felt very welcomed! And I did not feel at all rushed on a Friday afternoon when most people would be rushing out the door to start their weekend. Great experience overall!

My podiatrist here is Dr. Robert Church and he and his staff provide excellent care and warm hospitality. I am diabetic and Medicare provides one pair of specially fitted shoes on a yearly basis. I ordered a pair through Dr. Church's office and they proved to be quite uncomfortable. I was going to simply leave it at that, without complaint, but he followed up and knowing I was unhappy he ordered a second pair from a different manufacturer without charge to me. They fit great. My one complaint is a TV in the waiting room usually tuned to play Country Western music at a volume that makes a short wait seem very long.

Dr. Southerland diagnosed it as Morton's neuroma, some thing I had never heard of before, but he thoroughly explained what it was and how to treat it. He patiently answered all of my questions. I've been dealing with chronic ingrown toe nails for YEARS. Each of my toes curves in a C like shape, and I've been going to the instacare getting temporary help with each infection flare up. Finally, when this last infection was so bad my toe started to turn black, I gave up and made an appointment here, and boy am I so glad I did. When I first walked in the door, I was greeted by friendly Alicia and Amelia, and they took care of me right away. They were all smiles and extremely polite. Then another woman took me to my room, I can't remember her name, but she was really nice as well. She was asking about my day and doing all she could to make me feel comfortable- offering water and to adjust the chair so I could lay back. Finally when doctor Ryan came in, he was extremely gentle with me yet professional at the same time. He examined my foot and told me that he had a permanent solution for my toe nails- cutting off the sides and injecting a chemical in them so the sides wouldn't grow back. He got me set up right away, and was thoughtful of my experience during the procedure- making sure I wasn't in much pain, and when I was feeling ready to pass out, he left the room for a minute to give me some space. He was extremely kind and talked to me through the procedure, which was a successful distraction. He had a cool little freezing spray he would spray on the area right as he was giving my toe a shot so I wouldn't feel it, which I thought was a nifty touch. When it was all over, he also made sure that I understood my aftercare instructions and how to take care of it at home. Overall, I don't know why I didn't search for a specialist earlier. I would recommend Ryan to everyone I know. He's an amazing doctor. Thank you guys so much for letting me live my life again.

He also managed to keep up with my son's comedic repartee with some worthy expressions of his own. This helped to keep foot self consciousness in check, since feet, almost like teeth, rarely get close attention from knowledgeable eyes. I would recommend this to anyone needing these services.
