Reviews of Rheumatology Associates
Julie Reidy
I've been with Rheumatology Associates for around 30 years. My doctors, Miller and now O'Rourke along with PA Evans have been my lifeline. My 1st doctor (when I was 17) believed my issues to be 'all in my head' and recommended therapy. After 'proving' to be suffering significantly and with help from a local orthopaedic dr., to deal with fluid removal from joints and injections to manage pain, I finally tested with a RA diagnosis.
I felt like a guinea pig while the RA doc, tried to find a medication that would work.
After a particularly rough several months and being told they didn't know what direction to go in my treatment and that I would be in a wheel chair by the age of 30, I had to look elsewhere. Thankfully I found Rheumatology Associates. The office staff and nurses have always been kind and helpful in addressing issues, providing solid information regarding my treatment and seeking more information and resources when necessary.
I can count perhaps 2 visits in which I was irritable with a situation. Once I addressed the issue with the doctor, it was resolved- I feel that good communication is the most important factor in my doctor/patient relationship (along with a good sense of humor)
I am more than thankful to be being under the care of my doctor(s) at Rheumatology Associates.

We were referred to Dr Fels and his Nurse Practitioner Kelly Daly for our 6 year old son and our experience was better than we could have hoped for. Everyone from the front desk to the lab was extremely friendly, professional and courteous. They even called the next morning with our lab results. They made the entire process easy and stress free. Thank you!

Dr. Keroack saved my life on multiple occasions. First when I was getting the run around from a Northern Light rheumotologist. I asked my PCP for a referral to Rheumatology Associates after three years of pain and joints locking up. I was bedridden at 29 years old. After seeing him, he was able to put me in remission in three months. Two and a half years later, I am still in remission with no RA symptoms. Second, I was hospitalized with COVID. Due to my medication that I am on, I had/have zero immune system. I developed COVID pneumonia and was in the ICU. After three weeks of me again dealing with Northern Light having no idea what they are doing, I called Dr. Keroack for help. I was declining to the point where they were talking about me being ventilated. He demanded the physician to order certain meds for me to turn me around. After those meds started, I started to turn around. He called every day to check in on me and two weeks later I was home. If I didn't call Dr. Keroack, I am positive I wouldn't be alive today.

Rheumatology Associates has been very good to me. I have been going here for almost 10 years, mostly for one diagnosis. I recently got a second diagnosis that also requires treatment from a rheumatologist. I see Dr. Fels, who specializes in childhood conditions, because my original diagnosis is considered a childhood disease. He is very supportive and kind. The office offers on call services, which I have used a few times when I get a really bad flare, and they are super supportive and helpful. I also get infusions here, and I can't speak more highly of the nurses that work there. They are super supportive and kind, and make the experience so much easier and calmer. They are the best.

Outstanding practice. VERY responsive, efficient and knowledgeable. No wonder it is difficult to become a patient here: collectively, they are THE best!
I have had the PLEASURE of dealing with 4 of the doctors (between my wife and myself) in this practice and never cease to be amazed at the highest level of competence, compassion, efficiency and ultimate resolution of our ailments. The same is true of the entire staff...front desk to billing folks.

Great doctors, nurses, and support staff. Office manager recently replaced all of the chairs in the waiting room with ones clearly made for kindergartner's. Every single patient in the waiting room is complaining. You cannot expect arthritic people to get up from 10 inches off the floor.

Dr.Keroack is a caring, highly intelligent doctor. The thing I admire most about him is how he stays on top of the latest research about arthritis. And he is indeed a strong patient advocate in terms of coordinating care and medicine appropriate for his patients. He’s also a baseball dan, which I can relate to.

The staff is amazing. My Dr. had read my file before I arrive and listened to my concerns.
