This is an affordable, ideally located alternative to any motel. I drive 250 miles every four weeks for chemotherapy. The guest house is a perfect solution for me.

I stayed there on July 6th, 2022. It is a very nice Guest House with a full kitchen and living room in the basement. The rooms have showers that are made for someone after surgery with a walk-in shower and a fold down seat. The shower head can be handheld with a long hose for easy showering. The hallways have a railing so you can walk with ease. Some insurance companies will reimburse some of the money spent there. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

Very fast service renting 2 guest rooms, one with 2 Queen ($70/night) and 1 with 1 Queen ($60/night) very very clean and comfortable with large shower, small refrigerator and Kureig coffee maker with pods. Fresh linens, table and chairs, small flat screen tv, Heavy security doors with electronic outs entry but rooms are all indoors Wi-fi and cable. Common area with couches, large TV, large refrigerator and kitchen appliances. Bending and ice machine. And they also have laundry room available. And outdoor patio Even Star Bucks across street. Nice neighborhood About 5 minute walk and So grateful for a nice place to stay by hospital when loved ones are there. Personnel are always gracious and welcoming. This place is clean and has all you will need to get by. The bed was horrible and I hope they change this. I stayed before my surgery and was supposed to go back, however the bed was just awful. The head of the bed sloped down and even trying to sleep with my head facing the foot of the bed, I couldn't get comfortable. Two small pillows won't cut it when you have pain. Hard mattress won't work if you have pain. I was supposed to go back there for recovery, but I just couldn't even imagine sleeping on that bed again. I am grateful that they are there for families, but this really needs to be rectified. There are so many people going through so much and this should be a safe and comfortable place to stay. That way they can just have that rest and reprieve they need.

We can't say enough good about this place. Staff was very pleasant and kind. Rooms are large and well done. The cost was a very pleasant surprise. I think Providence has hit a home run offering a place like this for their patients. Both My wife and I highly recommend this place and thourghly appreciate being able to stay here while using Providences services.

Comfortable rooms, great staff. Fantastic rates. Only one block from the hospital, though a bit of a steep walk for elderly or mobility-constrained pedestrians. Full commercial kitchen, large dining room, and laundry, tranquility/meditation room, and a large living/gathering/TV room.

This place was a comfort to us when our son spent almost two months in the hospital. It was our home away from home. They succeed in making every effort to comfort you here right down to the fresh baked cookies each night. I hope others experience the same comfort we did during their stay.

Friendly service...affordable and comfortable. Could use a second pillow.and the showers need more water pressure to rinse well, can't adjust head to not spray directly in face unless you hold the nossle.wich can be difficult for some .other tgan that its great.

Providence Guest House proved a Godsend to us when our family member was in the critical care unit. The people are wonderful and the accommodations were first class. There is a LARGE kitchen area which has everything you need to prepare a meal. There is a very nice dining/living room with the kitchen. There is also laundry facilities available. I had been with our dad for 5 days when my sister joined me. She discovered the Providence House which we could walk back and forth to in about 5 minutes. It made it so easy for us to take shifts with my dad.

Very nice place , security is perfect you cant get past the parking without a card or even in the lobby without a card. Good size rooms big bathroom a huge kitchen so you can cook your own meals , they have everything but the food. The people are awesome , very friendly and it is right across from the doctors. They charge by the income or depending on your situation , cant be a better gift then a safe place to say while getting treatment or for whatever that has to do with OSHU. Oh and the sign in the bathroom telling you to not drink from the toilet or urinal, why would they need a sign , LOL With all the stuff that goes on in portland , the violence you could feel very safe here GOD BLESS THEM FOR THE GOOD THEY DO!

This is a wonderful caring place to stay if you have loved ones in the hospital it is walking distance to the hospital Starbucks is across the way there is also a teriyaki place across the street that is amazing.
