My family has gone to Columbia View for years. They've gone through some staffing changes, that's for sure! But, the new office admin Sueanne is amazingly sweet! She's much more helpful that the last front desk person. With the office and staffing changes I've seen improvement in the quality of care we've received. I'm sure working in the health care field in the last couple of years has been a huge challenge. I'm thankful to once again be able to get taken care of, have our questions answered, tests ordered and have friendly people helping me. THANK YOU! Keep up the good work guys, there is light at the end of the pandemic tunnel. :)

I went to this office for a few years before transferring to a different clinic when a new job provided me different insurance. I had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience with a particular doctor. She always wanted to do unnecessary tests to confirm an obvious diagnosis or rule out something else. Once it was "officially determined" what was wrong with me, I would always be told, "There's nothing we can do." Or she would give me a referral. She once prescribed me medication that they had discontinued making several years (pharmacist said 10-20 years, at least) prior. Instead of prescribing something else, the doctor and office staff had me run around to 3 other pharmacies who all told me the same thing. Finally, they said they would prescribe something else, but it would have to wait until the next day as the doctor had left early. After a bit of complaining, another doctor there finally prescribed me something else. Fast forward... I've been with a different company that has insurance my doctor's office didn't accept. I deliberately avoided looking for a doctor's office, because I knew I'd likely get this one. A coworker recommended the office to me, and I told her I had a horrible experience there. She told me she sees Stephanie Sanderson, and that she is great.... but that she has seen others when Sanderson wasn't in, and there was one whom she really did not like at all and would never agree to see again. Come to find out, it was the same doctor I had negative experiences with. I really needed a primary care doctor, so I gave it a shot and scheduled with Stephanie Sanderson. She is AMAZING and truly cares. I don't feel rushed. She listens. She addresses many issues all in one visit if needed. She doesn't do all the unnecessary tests. I truly appreciate her. ♡ So, while there are bad seeds in every line of work, please know this clinic isn't all bad. If you get stuck with a doctor you don't like or don't click with, request a different one. It worked for me.

Dr. Byrne is incredible. She is empathetic, understanding, experienced, and thorough. She explains everything in detail and in an easy to understand way. She makes sure the issue is handled and I feel confident in the treatment plan. The only downsides are long wait times. I've had to wait an hour and a half for her. However, she never rushed me no matter how far behind she was. She always made sure to answer any questions and discuss everything completely. Fantastic doctor and I highly recommend her. However, I saw Dr. Harpreet Dhillon once and would not recommend her. She was cold, harsh, judgmental, and not at all empathetic or caring. She talked down and negatively of her staff and nurses. She was very condescending to me. I did not feel comfortable. I felt judged and could not bring up my health questions. I would give her 1 star and do not recommend this doctor.

Dr Dhillon is an amazing dr! She has seen me through alot and continues to see me through, i had almost given up Faith in drs until i started being seen by her. She doesn't give you false hopes or string you along and she is always honest. I wish all Dr's had the good intentions and well being of their patients as a priority like she does. The office staff is also amazing i love them all. They deal with my big mouth and dark sense of humor 🤣 thanks guys ❤

My husband and I have been looking for a new doctor's office for 6 months, since our insurance changed. We each saw a different nurse practitioner and we were very happy with both of them. There were two "difficult" patients who came in while we were waiting, and the staff handled both of them very professionally. I would definitely recommend Columbia View to other people looking for a new doctor.

The most caring Doctors in the whole of Portland. They all are so smart and take all the time you need, with out feeling rushed. I am 69 years old and have been seeing the Doctors for over 6 years. My health and overall feel great. A very special shout out too Dr. Byrne she is truly one of the finest Doctors I have ever had. Plus she is so nice and caring. You can not go wrong with Columbia View.

Dr. Byrne is the most attentive, caring and thorough doctor I have ever seen and I have seen a lot. She is amazing. I have a rare condition and where most doctors had little interest in helping me find a diagnosis, Dr Byrne never gave up and helped me get the care I needed. The nurse practitioner Dana Davies is amazing too. She is warm and caring and helped me through some scary illnesses. Front desk staff is kind and welcoming.

I see Dr. Byrne at this office. Out of all my adult years of switching doctors trying to find one that was good, she is simply amazing. Best doctor I have ever had. Some people have complained about the front staff being rude, but I've personally never had issues, and even if I did, I would still use the office because you cant find a better doctor.

Great clinic! From the front staff, the medical assistants, back office and doctors! Always feel comfortable and able to spend the time needed for my visits. The doctors are very friendly, professional and caring. The docs take an active role in your health care and are always willing to help. The entire team (front office, back office, etc) have all been great. Highly recommend if looking for a doc.

Dr. Dhillon was recommended by an Emergency Room doctor when I needed a new primary care doctor. She has been thorough and spends time asking and answering questions. Her clinic also seems able to schedule same or next day appointments.

I've always had really good at carehere. I've had two doctors here in both of them were amazingly caring and helpful and went the extra mile to be as good as possible. The check in and wait time is usually pretty low.

Was happy here but now.......not so sure ***edit*** Wanted to just clarify my review I absolutely love dr dhillon! She is a an amazing dr that listens to your concerns and addresses them accordingly, my disappointment comes from issues with the billing department not the drs or their staff.

Reviews and opinions of doctors and clinics are ALWAYS subjective and are generally negative — irrespective of the actual truth (whatever that may be). That’s because people — more oftentimes than not, will only write a review if they feel slighted or have some sort of personal gripe with how they were (supposedly) treated. And I’m NO EXCEPTION to the rule. In fact, I am so highly suspicious of most practices that I essentially am scrutinizing every last detail, all the while, waiting for the ball to drop. At the same time, a large majority (of course, not all… but quite a lot) of patients who schedule appointments with clinicians these days are looking for “something” in particular; whether that be a prescription for a controlled substance, a diagnosis that matches the same one they had read about on Reddit earlier that morning, or to be treated as though they are superior to all of those who had come before them. Needless to say, if you fall into any of the aforementioned categories (which by the way, was most certainly not the most exhaustive list by any means) — THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. Go to the ER or urgent care and try your luck there (cause you’re definitely going to need it). Now, I can only speak to my experiences over the course of the past 5 years, and to the two physicians who I have been treated by; primarily that of Dr. Jennifer Byrne. Also, I have had several dozens, if not hundreds, of interactions with the rest of staff, and never once have I felt as though I was treated poorly, disrespected or slighted in any way. As for Dr. Byrne, I have nothing but the utmost respect and gratitude for the treatment I have received from her over the years. I honestly could continue typing out this review until my fingers fell off and it still wouldn’t properly describe how amazing of a doctor she truly is. “Life is an echo. What you send out, comes back. What you sow, you reap.”
