I had an appointment with Alysse Blight PA-C she was so warm and welcoming. She explained my treatment plan in detail to me. She took her time and answered all the questions that I had and didn't rush me. The front office staff were also very welcoming and helpful and went above and beyond to fix my registration paperwork that I messed up. I'm so glad that my primary physician referred me to southwest gastroenterology. Hopefully soon I'll be on the road to getting back to feeling like my self.

I did not have a very good first experience at this office. The building had roofing work done and the roofers put caution tape across the entrance walkway. No one in the office paid attention to this issue. What if someone Is in a wheelchair or is elderly! I let the office people know about this issue but they didn't seemed concerned. I checked in and then waited half an hour to be called on to see Dr Baker. Someone who came in 15 minutes after me was called in to see Dr Baker before me. I let the office person know that I was there before them, but no apologies. I waited another 15 minutes for Doctor Baker. I let her know my concerns and she was very concerned about these issues, apologized and went to talk to the manager. She made me feel a little better and I decided to schedule the colonoscopy. I was told that the person who was going to drive me for the procedure would have to stay in the waiting room and not be allowed to leave and come back for me after the procedure was done. My daughter has small children and she would be my ride. I decided that this place had strike 3. Why would they insist on making someone who is helping me out sit in the waiting area for maybe 3 hours! It doesn't make any sense.

I am more than impressed with Dr. Anaparthy. She was so courteous and very interested in my concerns. She was open to all I had to say my reasons for being concerned about my cancer concerns of having had breast mastectomy in 2020 and my concerns of colon cancer as my mother had been diagnosed early enough that she did not have to undergo anything but surgery to have that section of colon cut out. I am very impressed that when I showed my concern on the heartburn I suffer from that she laid out a treatment plan right away and asked if I would be willing to have an endoscopy done at the same time of my colonoscopy..That really impressed me as I was hoping that it could be done at the same time and not have to schedule another procedure at a later time.. I would highly recommend Dr. A and the entire staff of Southwest Gastroenterology.

My gastroenterologist that I’ve had for years could not see me until March, and Southwest gastroenterology got me in the same day. The PA was incredibly nice, she was empathetic and understanding and very informative. She was able to get me set up within a week for some procedures that will hopefully help diagnose what I have going on. I am incredibly impressed with this location and I’m excited to continue care in the hopes of figuring out my health.

Edit: The doctor called me directly to discuss my concerns. She was very helpful and knows she needs to get more staff etc. she is on top of it. And I greatly appreciate her response to my concerns. The doctor and staff are amazing. WHEN you are in front of them and in the office. Dr. Anaparthy is extremely thorough and gives you plenty of time to ask any questions. The problem is that when you call with questions or concerns. It can take days or weeks to get a response. After being told by the front office staff that my test results were in, but the doctor had not reviewed them yet, I waited 2 weeks to finally get a call from the nurse. (after calling almost every day to get a response). Weeks after my follow up, I started experiencing some more issues, and when I called I was told I would hear back from either the doctor OR the front desk. 24 hours later, I have not heard back. It is extremely frustrating.

Im like of course. Please see me. Not for real .but it was a good visit. Breana Baker was very knowledgeable told me all about the procedure im haveing . Dr. A was everything "AS ADVERTISED" ! Knowledgeable, communicative, great listener and patient. Dr.s normally give you the vibe that they're in a hurry to see the next patient., not Dr. A. She shows general concern for any questions and concerns you may have and puts you at ease with an explanation of what could be causing an issue for you and how the investigative process along with how and when possible treatments should begin and what it may look like in the end(I.e.. surgery and recovery). There was a long waiting list to get an appointment but I'm glad I trusted the reviews that led me to her.

My visit was right on time as scheduled. All people I dealt with were professional. Dr. Anar. was patient and gave me enough time to talk about my issues. I liked the electronic communication and the tablet. My issues has not been resolved yet so I do not have a treatment plan for my issues in particular the issue of heart attack like symptoms that I get very often. Two procedures are scheduled for me that I am not enthusiastic about because I have been through it before but this is to be seen. I thank everyone for caring.

Remains to be seen how this works out. I scheduled my appointment 2 months in advance. A week before, it was rescheduled to two weeks later. Fortunately it was not urgent. The office location is very confusing. Google maps directs you to enter from Dysart Road, but the entrance is really on W Osborn street. The sign above the office says "Medical Village" and only the stencil on the door indicates the office. If you go to the back entrance, which we did at first, there is a door with the same suite number that only says "Private". We checked in 5 minutes late due to trouble finding the office. Then I waited about 20 minutes and was escorted into the exam room. There I waited another hour, before the PA, not the doctor, saw me. She was good, asked lots of questions, and seemed knowledgeable. But my appointment was with the doctor, not the PA. After my exam, the PA said she was going to get the doctor in to review her work. Another 20 minutes, then the PA returned and said that if I really wanted to see the doctor I would have to wait more. I said that was ok. Just give me my test orders and I will go. The whole reason I chose Dr. Anaparthy was for the positive reviews of her, not her office and not her PA. So when my appointment is rescheduled and then I have to wait 80 minutes to see a PA, and not the doctor, I was disappointed. I cannot say more about the doctor, competence, etc, until after I get my test results and see what actions are taken. Really need better office signage and scheduling.

I had my first appt with Dr. A after multiple attempts of trying to find a good GI dr. I did wait around 3 months to actually be seen as a new patient but she was worth the wait. Have had minimal contact with this office thus far; front office staff gossips while patients in the waiting room-they must think most dont speak Spanish. The gals answering the phones are rude and will leave you on hold upward of 1/2 hr rather than taking a message. This office needs work on people skills and how to run a business in the front end.

In addition to being caring and intelligent, she was informative. Update: I had a follow up appointment with Anu. She is such an incredibly kind and caring practitioner. She answered all my questions, took a genuine interest in my health history, and gave me great suggestions. I was welcomed by a friendly staff and compassionate PA.. The wait time was fantastic! Dr. Anaparthy was an extremely knowledgeable, friendly, humble professional. Our interaction, in the exam room, was that of collaboration. I felt like she truly listened to my thoughts, questions, and input, to devise a diagnostic approach as well as a treatment approach.

Its a very sensitive and private area to discuss! And I mean that in the literal sense also.... After a long wait for an in person visit due to COVID It finally arrived. Office was clean and safety was in place. Check in was easy and the receptionist was very pleasant. Very little wait and took back to the room for vitals. A short time later Dr Anaparthy came in well prepared, notes had been read, she knew what meds I was taking and my history. An exam was completed and follow up was set after a couple test were scheduled which were discussed on a telemed appointment. Very pleased.

Dr Anaparthy and her staff are very professional kind and caring. They explained my procedure completely and made me feel good about what I was about to endure. The saff followed up with phone calls a few days before the procedure to make sure I still felt comfortable and ready to go through with my surgery. I even called the office with a question and Dr Anaparthy answered the phone herself. I was able to get direct and persise answer to my question which was very refreshing for me.
