Everyone was super nice and efficient at this office! The office is modern and clean. Dr. Emily Friedman was very thorough and attentive. I love that I can get lab work done on site - so convenient! I was in and out of the office quickly but I didn’t feel rushed. The fish tank was lovely too!

I came In for a first appointment and the office was very busy. They quickly got me through my intial check-in and I was speaking to my doctor within 15 minutes. Everyone was professional, polite, concise, and quick to answer my question. I got every question I needed answered, got some lab work done, and the flu shot all in a bout 45 minutes. I'd recommend this office to anyone.

Occasionally, you may have to wait for a bit for the doctor, but that doesn’t really bother me as I know they are busy. I had been to a doctor at another office and they did nothing to help the issue which was pain in my knee. Went to see Dr. Lyons and he immediately set me up for an MRI after I described my issues. Come to find out I have a fracture and 2 torn ligaments. He immediately started treatment. I’m glad I found a doctor that actually listened and discovered the root of the pain/discomfort instead of doing the bare minimum to get me out the office. Dr Lyons is an excellent doctor and I will be coming to him anytime I have issues with my knees.

SMG is pretty great private practice with many doctors, so getting an appointment with them isnt too hard (usually a week from the date I check for appointment availability). My PCP is very nice as well, so that's a plus. Wait time can range from 10-20 mins depending on how busy they are, which is not a big deal for me personally.

Great experience with all the doctors and PAs. Chris is attentive and truly cares about his patients. However, the phlebotomist had an unpleasant demeanor and fished around quite a bit trying to draw blood. First time this has happened here, so I’m hoping it’s a one off.

Dr. Gupta was lovely. Prompt, clear, helpful, and kind. I was in and out of the office super fast and barely had to wait at all. She connected me with a service that allowed me to get a prescription at a much lower cost than what I would have had to pay otherwise. Plus, I was able to get an appointment within a relatively short time frame. I definitely recommend Dr. Gupta and Stoll Medical Group for dermatology. My only wish is that they would get rid of their fish tanks; animals are not decor and should not be kept in tiny tanks in doctor's offices when meant to swim in open waters.

Great experience! I’m new to Philly and needed a PCP. I found the practice via Zocdoc and made an appointment quickly and easily. There was very little wait time, the staff were helpful and friendly, and Dr Stoll addressed all my questions and made me laugh a bunch. I’m coming from NYC, where I was member of a concierge medical group, so my standards for care are pretty high. But Dr Stoll and his practice did not disappoint. I’ll definitely be back for future visits and try some of the other doctors as well.

I went for a physical. I was in and out within 25 minutes. When the doctor arrived, he spent less than 90 seconds examining me, then referred me to the lab for blood samples. When the lab called, they said 'all negative'. This was either the quickest doctor's visit known to man, or he didn't really do anything and I went to a doctors office in order to go to a blood lab.

Dr. Jones was extremely easy to talk to and made the experience very easy and pain free. The staff at the office was polite and efficient, and I only waited for about 10 or so minutes before Dr. Desalvo sat with me (and I was fairly early, too). I have been a patient of SMG for a few years and now see Dr. Shah there. She is always very professional and takes time to ask and answer questions. I have never felt rushed by her or the rest of the staff. Everyone in the office is very friendly and professional. Occasionally I will see a different doctor and they have also been very professional. It is easy to communicate with the office by email and phone calls are answered right away. Dr. Shah always remembers my previous visits and asks follow-up questions on how I am doing which I appreciate. She remembers my wife (we have different last names) and always asks how she is doing. I feel like a real person that she cares about, not just a number. I would highly recommend this practice.

I have never been a big fan of going to the doctors but the staff makes you feel comfortable from the moment you step through the door. This place is amazing!!! I have the worst anxiety when it comes to doctors visits but going here is pleasant and calming. After going to a my first appointment about a week ago I received my follow up call about my labs to learn that everything was good and I had requested I speak with Dr. Stoll about a issue that had come up. He calls me back in minutes after me leaving the message as if I am a 20 year patient at his practice. Addressed my issue about a facial cyst that I have and lined me up to be seen by someone the same evening. Outstanding care and the place feels like you are walking into a luxury spa :)

I do not usually write reviews however, I realized this doctor truly deserves one. I have never walked out of Dr. Stolls office without feeling satisfied that I will get better. Any medication he has ever given to me was always correct and he remembers everything and by everything, I mean EVERYTHING. Anytime that I would stop by he always remembers the last time I was there and asks me how I'm doing at current time. It's hard to describe but he doesn't just give you the old "how are you doing?" but instead he's all lively, GENUINE, happy and excited to see you. There were times when I came there feeling ill, and his happy and enthusiastic attitude itself made me feel better. Also he or staff have always called for follow up even when I forgot about results or something I still got a call. I live in Center City, Philadelphia and in a sea of doctors he is truly a needle in the haystack. The staff is always friendly and the times that I needed an emergency appointment he never turned me down. I really credit my health and well being to him/his staff. If I had to say one last thing it's that he will always make you feel welcome.

They recently expanded their office and it’s absolutely beautiful. Stoll Medical Group offers many types of treatment. They keep good magazines, but I’m always met with my doctor pretty quickly so that that doesn’t really matter much. Go here.

Would generally recommend. Did not appreciate having to remove my mask to take an oral temp after having my temp taken with a temporal gun in the lobby. I’d specifically worn a disposable mask under my cloth mask and had intended on not touching my mask while in the office. This temperature taking did not allow for that, I also was in the waiting area when someone was turned away because they had a pending COVID test and apparently hadn’t answered their phone/returned calls. They left fairly quickly but paused to discuss the status of their health insurance with the receptionist. Overall feeling fairly confident I was safe there but not 100%.

The PA that I virtually met with on two occasions seemed knowledgeable and friendly, and I have no complaints there. My issue is pretty silly. I know I am an adult and should be capable of putting an appointment on my calendar and keeping it. That being said, this is the only doctor's office I have ever been to that doesn't send out any type of appointment reminder, be it a call, text, or email, and I've consequently missed 2 virtual appointments. For virtual appointments, the text that is sent at the time of your appointment is something like: "Mary Watson wants to meet on doxy.me" The second appointment I missed, I woke up to that text and immediately deleted it as I thought it was spam. There is no mention of "Dr. Stoll's office" or even a title for the PA I was supposed to be meeting with. As "doxxing" someone is something bad typically done on the internet, I naturally assumed doxy.me was some sort of phising scam. I never got a follow up phone call or anything asking why I missed my appointment, I just happened to realize about 2 days later what had happened. These things are pretty dumb and could be solved by me being more responsible, yes, but at the same time, I feel like it would make everyone's life easier to at least send a confirmation text the day before an appointment.

The office brings all state of the art equipment for one stop visits. With the COVID-19, they only schedule patients That allows social distancing. Patients are scanned in the hallway when exiting the elevator to insure no fever exists. The office is in a great location in Walnut Street between 15th and 16th. Parking steps away. I have been a patient for almost 10 years!

Overall, a decent visit/experience, but to echo some of the other reviews; it is evident that the practice's main goal is efficiency. Not terrible if (like me) you work nearby and need routine visits/check ups, but not ideal when you have serious concerns and need to feel warm and fuzzy or reassured. I did feel a bit rushed (worked for me, I was on a lunch break), and did not feel a sense of concern or compassion person-to-person from the nurse or doctor I met with (the resident she was training was really nice, though). Again, not that anyone in particular was especially rude, but you leave with a sense of feeling like a number rather than a patient. Thankfully, the phlebotomist was super friendly and kind. I, otherwise, felt looked "through" rather than "at".

So happy I found Stoll Medical Group! I originally just picked this based on proximity to my work, but it's honestly the best family practitioner I have ever been too! Dr. Mink is really understanding and comfortable to talk to. He personally checks in with you after visits - I've never heard of a doctor doing that, makes you feel like your doctor really cares. I also had a panic attack at work one day (well I thought I was dying, but it was a panic attack), and he was able to see me immediately. You cant really ask for more than that. Thank you!

I was billed as an office visit , although it was my annual checkup. When i called the front desk they did not help me /and refused to answer any question regarding my billing. They said that they outsource their billing to someone else and provided me a number with an extension code. An office which codes me wrong and doesn't help me with billing/ or answers question about it is not a place i will return back to. Adding to my previous post- Stoll med group doesn't handle any of its billings and outsource it to a company in NJ. If you have any question or you were coded wrong , you will basically have to call a customer service number. You will not get any assistance from Stoll medical. The whole ordeal is very time consuming .I have tried multiple times calling the customer service and left VMs and still waiting for a reply.

They’ve generally done a great job there. The only issue I’ve had is regarding the dating of ongoing monthly prescription refills that don’t take into account the different lengths of each month. Putting a refill date on the same day each month (ex. the 14th) has sometimes lead to being without medication for a day or more because the first prescription month had 31 days, but a 30 say supply of tablets - so after filling the prescription the same day and taking the first dose, 30 days pass and I had finished the medication supply on the 12th of the following month (since I took the first dose the day it was prescribed). In cases like this the refill date should have been on the 13th for the subsequent month so that I could fill it the next day and take the first dose of the refill. It’s a minor issue, but one that I’ve had to explain a few times, and has resulted in a few stressful situations when at home without the meds. However, this is more of a logistics issue, and not an issue with the clinic itself or the staff. Everyone there is great, and I would absolutely recommend.

I truly love this place. Great service, beautiful office, and professional physicians. The ONLY reason I gave them 4 stars is because they have Kristen Jones there. I went in for professional help for years of chronic pain and other symptoms. She took my bloodwork and when it came back negative for inflammation, she told me that I was lying about have fibromyalgia and accused me of seeking pain medication. First of all, fibromyalgia does not cause inflammation, so there’s clearly a lack of education there. Secondly, I am NOT seeking medication and it’s absolutely unprofessional and insulting to assume this and proceed to tell me there is nothing she could to for me and to leave. HORRIBLE experience with her and I left crying out of frustration and embarrassment. Aside from this terrible experience, EVERYONE else has treated me so kindly and with the upmost respect. They listen, they take their time, and they understand. Even the front desk is kind and efficient. Let Kristen go and this place gets 5 stars!

The providers are competent and good at their jobs. No complaints on the care side. However, the phlebotomist and some of the receptionists are very blasé or unhappy. Maybe the phlebotomist is overworked (she seems to be the only one there) but she appeared a bit annoyed and testy. And some of the reception staff do not hide their contempt for their jobs. I don't necessarily blame these employees for they feel. But perhaps upper management needs to better train these folks and make their compensation more competitive. From my experience that usually alleviates these kinds of problems. Other than that an above average practice for Philadelphia.

I've been coming to Dr. DeSalvo at Stoll Medical Group for my primary care for 4+ years now and have always been happy with the care and support I have received at the practice. I truly appreciate that. Can get my blood drawn for labs right here in the office, and I also am able to come to Stoll for dermatology with Dr. Gupta. There are other services within the same practice that I do not currently use, but I know that if I ever need them that I will be in good hands under the same roof. I've never felt judged or condescended too for the state of my health by any of the staff here, and I would definitely recommend both Dr. DeSalvo and/or Dr. Gupta to anyone looking for primary and/or dermatology care in Philadelphia.

Had PCP here couple years back. They were fine. Made appointment due to my PCP not having availability. Got there 10 min early and was told there was 1 hour wait. Thanks for heads up but after $20 Uber ride I canceled appt and went back home. Huge waste of time. I’d say expect delays when you go. Feel bad for the doctors here being over booked.

I've been coming here for 2 years and I think its a great office. However, I was reassured I would have my script sent to the pharmacy before I left for my trip, I was very specific about this request. I was told not to worry and that it would definitely be in on time. Now the office is closed and my script has not been sent. I leave for my trip tomorrow morning and now I will have to go 5 days without my medication. I am disappointed as promises and assurances should not be given if they cannot be kept.
