After going to the emergency room at Roxborough Memorial, I was told that I needed to have an operation. I was admitted right away and scheduled for an operation a few days later. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of care given to me. The entire staff work collectively and were very thorough and pleasant. The doctors and staff were also very diligent before releasing me after my operation. There are other area hospitals with higher profiles, but I am grateful for the quality of care shown to me. Thank you very much.

The one day surgery team were very professional and very nice. The nurses couldn't do enough to satisfy your needs. They were very helpful and attentive. The warmed blankets were especially nice!! Even the two front desk clerks were friendly and pleasant, putting a nervous patient at ease. I would recommend highly this place to anyone who needs a one day surgery procedure.

I had the best experience here at Roxborough Hospital. I was treated in the ER. While all the surrounding hospitals had 6 hours wait, I was being triaged and roomed within an hour. The entire staff was extremely pleasant and caring. It’s rare you see an ER full of workers all with great attitudes. I will recommend this hospital to everyone. Great service!

My daughter was very sick with what turned out to be the flu. The women at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The nurse who saw us was kind and made us feel comfortable. Dr. Patel was very helpful and knowledgeable. Very pleased with our visit.

I came to Roxborough Memorial Hospital for an Ultrasound and X-rays. My primary did not submit one of referrals, but Casey the receptionist called and called until she was able to get them to sumbit it. She went above and beyond. The staff in the Radiology Department we also wonderful. Two thumbs up.

I missed my appointment with my primary care doctor, was turned away from an urgent care, and decided to head to the ED with my health concern. I didn’t want to wait for 2-6 hours at Jefferson, HUP, or Temple so I decided to check out Roxborough. Turned out to be a great decision. I was able to find parking in the ED parking lot, there was no one in the waiting room, security, reception, the RN, and doctor were all receptive, attentive, and helpful.

My visit was absolutely amazing. I was greeted with respect and the triage nurse was ok. I feel like she may need to be re-educated on the use of gloves but overall it was good service. The dr had patience with me. I ask a lot of questions and he answered effectively. The wait time was quicker than expected and he helped me understand my results.

Was there a couple times recently. Had to stay 4 days. I have to say all the nurses were great. Joanne on the second floor was excellent. The nurse in charge who I called nurse ratchett on the second floor was kind of strict I thought but in the end I finally got her to smile.

This place is awesome. Staff always take care of me and my daughter. The copay is expensive, but the staff is amazing. I absolutely love Dr. Applebum and nurse Sharae. Plus, no matter how bad I'm feeling, the receptionist always keeps me laughing. Sorry, I can't think of her name.

No appointment needed for an X-ray. Was registered, X-ray and done in less than an hour. The tech was extremely nice and explained everything and escorted me back to the lobby when done so I wouldn’t get lost

I’ve never had a bad experience here - both times I’ve been to the ER for injuries I’m always seen right away (unheard of in any other ER) and the staff is so kind. Even when I fractured my foot and was hopping on one foot from my Uber to the door, the security guard saw me on camera and came rushing out with a wheelchair. Everyone has been attentive and taken their time to explain everything to me.

I was brought to the ER at Roxborough Hospital by PFD Medics, due to shortness of breath. I ended up being admitted and spending 7 days as an inpatient. During my stay I was treated with respect and compassion by everyone I encountered. On my last day there I was able to meet the CEO of the hospital as he made the rounds of all the patient rooms. He was accompanied by Miranda from the patient experience department. I experienced a small issue with my discharge from the hospital. I contacted Miranda and the issue was corrected very quickly. Being in the hospital is never a pleasant thing but the staff at Roxborough Hospital work hard to make their patients as comfortable as possible.

I can’t speak of the ER or in-patient care but will say the radiology department was great during my recent visit. My insurance forces me to use their testing facilities since my PCP is affiliated w/RMH (my specialists are Penn) so I had no clue what to except. It was an easy check-in at the front desk, the MRI tech (Sabeeta Nazir) was so kind throughout my testing as I was pretty scared & my results were shared w/my specialist 12 hrs post test. Happy to know their testing facilities are still good.

This isn’t my regular hospital. When I initially arrived, I went to the wrong building. The staff there was helpful and redirected me. Arrived for the COVID shot today. The appointment started on time without delay. The staff was very friendly and walked me through the process. The nurse did a great job and the shot was painless.

I went here today for outpatient procedure- upper endoscopy. It was amazingly organized, efficient and caring. Last time I had this done in Chicago it was 8 hours. Here 2.5 hours from start to finish. Everyone wished me luck, gave me warmed blankets, and a snack when I woke up, treated like a queen. Thank you!

My elderly mom was a patient in the Stroke Unit- the staff was exceptional, informative and loving. They even braided her hair! The room was clean and the meals satisfactory. I would definitely recommend this institution to anyone. I heard the hospital used to have a bad reputation but since I have frequented it, I have been very happy with the care I received from the surgeons to the nursing staff and administrative staff.

I have been going to Roxborough Memorial Hospital for years for imaging and Physical therapy. Their radiology departments is able to get you in quick for CT scans, MRIs, and Xrays. One of my favorite physical therapists is Lynda at this hospital. The ER is not the best compared to others.

This was the best E.R visit I've ever been to!!! Great staff, the nurses are awesome. They actually gave me an xray, when other E.R's will touch the hurt area press it and say your ok. Then discharge you. There was no wait, I went right back. My total visit was only an hour and a half.

Clincally, I have little complaint. My father is being treated at Roxborough, and he is improving. Patient relations, accountability, and reponse to routine questions is abysmal. My father has been in Roxborough for a week, and I have heard nothing substantive or even in passing from the medical team. They work on ideas from the 20th century that treatment is their business and not the patient's or his family's. The doctor attending my father disdains the public. I have never been closer to suing any business or person in my life. Calls to the hospital go unanswered. With some outstanding exceptions, nursing is done as a job not an art or a healing trade. Nurses' wishes are given priority over a patient's or a family member's. Ask a question, and you're treated like a pest or a meddler. With competition the way it is today, hospitals have to have more than medical prowess. Roxborough, in general, has no bedside manner. The doctor treating my father should be relegated to amphibian obstetrics.

Spoke with the CEO. Here is a person who really knows how to listen and understand a problem. After speaking with him about various problems with the Behavior health unit, Mr. Adamo plans on making some critical changes. The plans include less medication and faster recovery times. If you have an elderly loved one who suddenly becomes psychotic or confused this would be the place to send them.

Over the past few months, I had an x-ray, an MRI, and a CT Scan at RMS Radiology. These experiences have gone very well. (My experience with my insurance company, obtaining the necessary pre-certifications and referrals, was a struggle as usual, but that had nothing to do with RMS.) Once all the paperwork was in hand, my experience at RMS Radiology couldn't have been better. My waiting time at the front desk and in the Radiology waiting room, along with being escorted back to the area where procedures are done, took under 10 minutes. Once arriving in the main area I was greeted by a technician within a minute or two, and then taken to the room where the procedure was done. Everyone involved, from the front desk to the professionals conducting the procedures. was polite, friendly, and professional. As a local resident, I feel fortunate that such a resource is within a few blocks of my home.

My granddaughter had an issue with her finger. We waited for over 5 hours. They did an x-ray and gave us our discharge papers. I did a follow-up with CHOP, and they needed the cd of the x-ray that I never received from Roxborough Hospital. I called on Friday, and the radiology dept is open from 7:30-4:30pm. I had to reschedule her orthopedic appt because I have to go back to Roxborough Hospital for the x-ray. What a bummer.

Honestly best hospital experience of I've ever had. Every other hospital I've gone to for asthma attacks (Nazareth and U of Penn Main Campus). Immediately the nice security man at the door put me in a wheel chair and brought me right back. There was NO WAITING. now ik asthma and breathing takes absolute precedence in all hospital but I truly didn't even see a single patient anywhere waiting. It was about 645 am but still I'm damn sure penn and Nazareth would be crowded as always. Immediately and I mean immediately took my pulsox. My dad was parking the car I immediately once back in er told them and said he'd be coming back/ could he? When the nurses were out of my room.i heard rhe nirse day something like "as a parent yeah we need to let him back" my guess is that unless your under 18 bc of covid they may still have somewhat strict protocol. And I'm 28. So it was nice to hear what im.pretty sure I heard bc they weren't inside my room when it was said I was eavesdropping hahaj. But stilling sure it was about me so that shows genuine caring. They hooked me.up quicker than any hospital ever has even faster than the king of king Upenn. We all know they have the best reputation. But I can honestly say Nazareth literally guilt tripped for a I've I did. Ot want or need. UPENN gave me xanax just to hope id become agreeable to an IV. Yet here at Roxboerough they asked fhe male doctorOr PA idk which he was I assumed dr at first hewas African American w a tan hoodie and Anuradha asked if we were gonna IV and I basically adopted them in their tracks and was likeum I e an actual.phobia of needles and unless I have cancer or a major surgurey I do not do vaccines. and that was the end of the cinvo!!it seemed like he was gonna say it was unnecessary for now even before I said all that but I had even more respecrforhim..That he did not even try to push it on me. And guess what 2 treatment later my phlsox was from 86 to a stead 97. This isn't even the half of it.every ER onlyever sent me.out the door with a rescue inhaler and 4 or 5 days worth of steroids. But Roxborough good lord,I walked out with half a pharmacy of prescriptions. Nebulizer refills that should last a year atleast, a daily once a day asthma medicine, a rescue inhaler,and some antibiotics bc they thought they saw sone possible oneumonia but didn't actually diagnose it for sure but to be on the safe side they gave me antibiotics as well , I think j the lung fluid is just because I'm constantly mucousy when I let my asthma get out of. Onteol but they were amazing Roxborough. A whole team of amazinggh. Workers doctors nurses I may try to send a little brunch gift next Sunday AM as a thank you bc they. Were the best med team I've ever had. Idsend tomorrow but i wanna make sure the whole team who treated me is there oto Im gonna pray they all work Sunday Am regularly. Bc they werw the very best. I'm so bad I didn't get all their names

The emergency room is never busy ‘ the staff let you kno what is going on in a timely manner and are very kind and respectful.

I don’t understand why I had to wait so long. The wait time increases each time I go. The doctor is competent but they require more than one. The paperwork is too much every time you go there you have to complete duplicate info when you are already on computer. Need to decrease waiting time you are sick you don’t want to spend a day at urgent care when you don’t feel well.
