I got in my car after my first visit to the clinic and with Cody, and I cried. I honestly KNOW in my heart, that this place is going to be the answer to years of questions about my health! A new friend recommended I make an appointment, and I am so happy I did! The front desk, the check out and everyone in between was welcoming and friendly. Cody REALLY gave me hope that he is going to be able to help me achieve much better help. His personal story was similar, and so I feel that he really could actually relate. And more importantly, cared. I felt like he understood just how connected I feel my family stress is in relation to my physical health and how important ALL areas of health are...spiritual, physical, emotional. He really listened, and I feel, he understood how desperately I want to feel better and live healthier. Then, blood work....which is usually a big deal for me b/c, I am told, I have horrible veins...Well, Mike got it in ONE TRY! He was wonderful! The whole experience was great, and I can't wait to see the results as we progress! Thank you VERY MUCH!

Here you are, reading reviews. To cut to the chase — I highly recommend you visit this clinic with any of your needs! Every second of my experience was nothing short of amazing. From the scheduling of my appointment and automatically feeling like they truly cared for me. To my actual appointment and feeling so secure and taken care of. To my endless needs after the appointment and the feeling like they genuinely take pride in their work and want to help you however they are able to. If you don’t want to take my word for it... talk to Lisbeth, their practice Manager, for just one second, and tell me you don’t immediately feel like you are talking to one of the kindest people this planet offers. I unfortunately only got to work with two other of their staff, who were just as kind. I hope this review serves as even the smallest amount of praise this clinic deserves. And I especially hope you get the privilege of letting them work with you.

Just moved to Nashville and needed to find a new PCP. Riverside Village Clinic was recommended to me by my insurance and after reading all the Google reviews, I decided to make an appointment. I'm so happy I did because everyone in the clinic is extremely welcoming and helpful. Meeting a new doctor for the first time can be daunting, but Athena made me feel really comfortable and was wonderful at listening to my concerns as a patient. Not to mention, the decor in the office is amazing! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new PCP.

The front desk receptionist Lizbeth (sorry if I spelled that wrong) is the sweetest lady! She’s always so helpful and patient and gets things sorted out for me. Athena, my current doctor, is the best doctor I’ve seen seen so far. She’s non judge mental, helpful, and listens to what you need as a patient. My experience, from scheduling my appointment to leaving after the physical was over, was great. From start to finish, the staff at Riverside Village Clinic were welcoming, warm, and professional. The physical consisted primarily of an open conversation about my lifestyle and concerns, with a short exam and getting some blood drawn. A couple days after the appointment, I received a message in the patient portal explaining the results of the blood lab and follow up recommendations. Anyone looking for a friendly, personable place for their primary care would be hard pressed to find a better location.

Every aspect of my visit to Riverside Village Clinic was fantastic. The receptionist was so welcoming and helpful. My wait time was absolutely minimal. I was in and out in under and hour. The nurse whom I initially saw was also extremely friendly, and the nurse practitioner came in quickly, took her time with me, had a real conversation with me, and answered my questions. My first experience at Riverside exceeded my thoughts and expectations. I have lived here for 16 yrs without a GP and I’m very skeptical of Dr’s. Upon walking into Riverside Lisbeth greeted me as if I was a long lost friend. She made me feel welcomed and at ease, this was just the start of my amazing experience. Christa made me feel at ease as she took my vitals and shared a few laughs. I felt like I was really being listened to when I talked with Athena. She is very caring and compassionate. I was able to be me and not have to hide anything from her in fear that I would be judged. My only regret is that I didn’t find Riverside several years ago.

Report from Riverside Village Clinic: LOVED. Their intake process was so thorough. I highly recommend Rebecca for anyone experiencing gut issues!! They use lab results to create a customized diet and supplement plan for you. Rebecca was so great about explaining everything and walking me through all the results in detail. She talked with me for about an hour at my second appt. I have had stomach issues my whole life and I am now feeling normal. I loved that the treatment plan was all natural, but based on science. It’s well worth the money.

They give you their full attention and offer the most compassionate care of any medical practice where I have been a patient. If you've been looking for a primary care practice that will listen and respond to your specific needs in an appointment where you are never hurried or dismissed -- then do yourself a favor and call for an appointment! 8/03/21: For many years I have been searching for a medical provider who would truly listen to me and a practice that is open to more holistic approaches. At Riverside Clinic, I have finally found a place to help me manage my health not just provide bandaid prescriptions that usually lead to even more pharmaceuticals. I had a great first session with Rebecca, the nurse practitioner who specializes is gut health. I believe her knowledge will be key in managing my many inflammatory conditions. Everyone I encountered from Lisbeth in the front office to Krista who drew my (many) vials of blood was pleasant and professional. I do not mind driving from Mount Juliet to East Nashville to feel seen and heard and, ultimately, set on a healing path!

This is the best medical team in East Nashville. The staff is welcoming and you are instantly made to feel like one of the family. Honestly I am so glad I found this place. I’ve had two great experiences so far, one in-person and one phone appointment. Both times everyone I interacted with was so kind. For me, this is huge because I have horrible anxiety about doctors offices. This place is so different from anywhere I’ve been in the best possible ways. I don't like going to the doctor, because I feel like they don't listen and "know it all," as opposed to wanting to figure it out with you. They tend to over-prescribe and under-explain what they are giving you. This experience was the opposite of everything I dislike in the doctor's office. The check-in process was smooth, the receptionist warm (and even called me back promptly on Monday when I left a message over the weekend). The doctor was caring, she listened, and she even leaned towards natural remedies. Thank goodness I read other reviews first that lead me to this doctor. I don't care if I move to Lebanon, I'll always come here for my appointments!!

It felt like it was first time I had received comprehensive healthcare in the 16 years that I have lived in Nashville. My previous PCP at Heritage, when I told him I wanted to be proactive with my health, and didn't want medications for things I could address naturally. He told me he was in the business of risk management, spent around 15 minutes with me at best, barely made eye contact, pushed symptom blockers at me and made sweeping diagnoses without checking things out. He never appeared interested in my health, just risk management. Not here. Rebecca is thorough. She is engaged and makes you feel like she is championing your healthcare. I feel like I will get healthy under her care.

The medical providers at Riverside Clinic are really nice, empathetic people. I always get the care I came for. They take a holistic approach, but ultimately provide real medical advice. However, the only criticism I have is they are NOT available at all on the weekends. No one even answers the phone. If it’s important for you to be able to get a hold of someone outside of banker hours, it might be better to look elsewhere or have another place as a backup.

Went there just prior to their grand opening for a small infection, and they were amazing! The Physician's Assistant and the staff were all really friendly and thorough. Even though the PA had run some tests and already knew what the problem was, she still did a complete physical exam (lungs, heart, palpation, etc.) to make sure she wasn't overlooking anything. She took her time and made me feel comfortable and cared for.

I am thoroughly impressed!!! Chrissy gives the best blood draw, I’m talking seconds and hid the vials in her pocket so that I wouldn’t see. I get super freaked out when I get stuck. Rachel is amazing! The last time I requested a tick panel, my doctor laughed at me and told me Lyme doesn’t exist in TN. These guys got me in within 2 days and results were back ASAP, and the result was positive. Thank god for good practitioners who know how to listen and understand! I won’t go anywhere else now! Cannot disagree that the staff are very nice. First visit , they listened very intently to my concerns regarding ulcerative colitis diagnosis . She spent a lot of time explaining inflammation and the importance of diet, exercise, mind/body, stress relief to help deal with UC. All helpful and presented well. But I wasn’t that thrilled with the next steps . I bought the IgG food sensitivity blood test for $500, thinking it would help me solve my issues . Wrong :( Second visit - she handed me the $500 paper (IgG results) and said avoid these foods, take nystatin for a month to cure candida, and come back in a month. I took the meds, removed the foods and things got worse . I just couldn’t go back . In retrospect - I should have done my homework. With more research it seems as if IgG tests are not very reliable and can have you avoiding foods that don’t effect you negatively at all . It is not an allergy test . UC is a complex disorder and I was wishful and hopeful for more answers. I just couldn’t get them here . I understand both providers “cured” their own issues through these paths but this did not work for me and was just an expensive attempt at help. They tout they are not like traditional medicine and doctors and just throw medication at issues. But in the end, I ended up on meds for a month that probably made my condition worse and with an expensive bill for something that is not really scientifically founded. Again, kind people but if you are looking to solve big issues this might not be your place . It wasn’t for me .

I can honestly say I’ve never felt more listened to by a provider with visits to see both Jenny and Rebecca for annual physicals over the course of the last two years or so. I was even more impressed with their attention to detail in screening/education regarding nutrition, exercise, sleep and stress management. They both have a certain level of empathy that almost instantly builds trust and opens up communication which is so vital for patient/provider relationship. This is the kind of healthcare that can combat chronic comorbidity in our nation.

While on vacation from Ohio, I started feeling horrible. Headache, sinus, sore and swollen throat. Looked up clinics and found Riverside. I gave them a call and went in. Fast, caring, thorough service. Great friendly staff. Afterwards I was sent next door for my prescriptions. Very friendly caring people there too. All done in a half hour. Thanks Riverside.
