I never dread going to see Dr.Fravkfather at Advanced Foot and Ankle. The thing I dread the most about a Dr visit is the long wait to see the Doc after you have made sure to get to your appt promptly on time. I never have to wait for any significant amount of time. The staff is very efficient and friendly. They get you in and out of there as quickly as possible. I appreciate their efficiency and promptness. Five stars happily goes to AFA from me! 😊

Service was prompt and efficient. No waiting in the front of the office for 45 minutes after my appointment time. Dr. Retief gave very sensible, straight-forward advice and treatment plan. I highly recommend this practice.

The doctor took care of me and I was really happy I'm glad I went to Dr Davis he seem like he understood my problem I didn't think it was much wrong with my foot but after I saw the X-ray I saw that I need to take care of it it's going to take six to eight weeks for it to heal or maybe longer since my age but I'm in good hands he gave me a boot to wear but I can't drive with it but it was really great they gave me all the advice I needed to take care of my foot

Dr Frankfather was superb. He understood my problem, was helpful, understanding, professional and efficient! I went in limping and left practically running! Lovely facility, Cori was particularly thorough going through my symptoms, great at listening and making me feel understood. Since my visit my pain is almost gone and I am happy again!!!!

I am so delighted to have Dr. K. Tatum Brace as my podiatrist. She is young, vibrant, and knowledgeable. Her professionalism, sense of listening and caring in providing a high-quality care for my foot and ankle disorders are commendable and noteworthy. Dr. Brace ‘s staff, Ms. Cori, Camila and the nurse are amazing. They are warm and friendly in their approach to patients. The office atmosphere is cordial and relaxed for patients as well.

On a Wednesday I was able to make my appointment for Friday. After experiencing pretty severe foot pain- my appointment was direct and quick with only the necessary procedures to diagnose a stress fracture- too much walking after a sedentary winter- got an X-ray and a boot and I feel so much better- thank you to the staff and Dr. Retief-

Great experience overall. There was abit of confusion about doing my second toe. I had told them at the beginning I needed both. The receptionists were kind enough to squeeze me into this one specific appointment on short notice (im a truck driver im barely ever in town). Once the doctor was done with one toe the doctor said I'd have to come back for the second toe. She said she was extremely busy and couldnt (because the receptionists fit me in so tight I assumed) , she was very kind about it but said there was no time. I spoke to the staff about it and another kind nurse talked her into finishing it up if he did all the prep and numbing for her. The nurse did my numbing to save time for the doctor. And she quickly came in and finished up the nail and was out in 60 seconds. Everyone was really kind including the doctor. They definitely worked with me. I would definitely recommend going here because they accommodated my crazy truck driving schedule

I am a runner who experienced and injury to my plantar fascia. I delayed going into the doctor - I had originally injured myself in 2018 and tried to swim instead of running to address the pain. In 2020 when I stopped going to the public pools during the pandemic I realized my foot was not healed and went to see Dr. Frankfarther. He was amazing. He understood my injury and recommended treatment that did not involve surgery. His treatment plan took a little under 3 months to fully heal my foot. He also taught me how to take care of my feet to prevent the injury from recurring. I am now running again and aside from losing my calluses during the resting period I have no troubles. My feet feel strong and I am looking forward to a 2021 filled with wonderful runs!

I am an RN and have been one for 22 years. I started having plantar faciitus in November of 2020. The pain had become so bad in February of 2021 that I reached out to Dr. Brace and she was wonderful. The staff was very welcoming and I would recommend anyone to Dr. Brace!

I couldn't be more grateful for Dr. Mitchell and the team at Advance Foot and Ankle. Another podiatrist referred me to him for treatment of severe bunions. I had two surgeries completed this year. At my consultation Dr. Mitchell explained the cause of my foot pain, treatment options, details of the recommended surgery and answered all of my questions. (I had a list!) He is thorough and informative with each appointment. His assistant, Nick, is always friendly and attentive as well. My anesthesiologist and nurses loved him and noted that I was getting "custom feet by Mitchell"! Prior to my surgery I experienced pain from simply putting shoes on. My daily quality of life has improved and I look forward to being active again.

There is no better podiatrist than Dr. Frankfather. I started seeing him about 15 years ago after another podiatrist botched a procedure. Not only did Dr. Frankfather correct it flawlessly, he did it with no pain! I have never gone to anyone else since, nor would I.

Dr. Mitchell performed my second foot surgery and was so easy to talk to it felt like I had known him all along. I was referred to him and the only thing the referring Dr. told me was that he was young but that he was very good and she was sending her husband to him. That was all I needed to hear, when a Dr. sends their spouse to someone they must be good. He was! Thanks for all you have done Dr. Mitchell.

Very much appreciated visit with Dr. Dunse and exam was very thorough- however, I was disappointed in the lack of mask wearing by their staff, beginning with receptionist whose mask was below her nose to others in the office without a mask on at all. Nashville is currently a Red Zone for COVID19. I expected more from a doctors office.
