Great staff, and great customer service! I've been bringing kids since they were babies after a misdiagnosis at a downtown clinic and ever since then my children have been in excellent hands. Just today my son had a phobia episode and was treated with great respect and patience! I'm so grateful for such a reliable caring staff to depend on!

This is the best place for children, I have been bringing my kids here for 6 years, dr josep sanfelipo always knows the right medication they need, the place is always clean, they won’t let you sit down and wait for hours, I live at Clarksville and drive more than and hour to get there and I know there is more places close to my house I could take my children but honestly Academy children’s clinic is worth the ride, they are the best…

My son saw Dr Essel and he was FABULOUS! My only complaint is my son had new insurance (TennCare), got a call from a male receptionist to make an appt because they were his PCP & made the appt. I asked if they saw patients til 21 yrs old he said yes, I told him my son would be turning 18 in 4 weeks and if they didn't it would not make any sense for us to come there for 1 visit then have to find another doctor, I was assured by the man on the phone he would be seen til 21. Day of the appt, I found out my son would only be seen til age 18! So basically it was a bait and switch! Now this was NOT Dr. Essel's fault at all, this was the man who called me to make the appointment. My son couldn't get his shots that day and now they refuse to give them to him, even though they said we could come back for them. So I called for him to come in to get his 2 shots and she said we don't give 18 yr old shots they are different dosages. (Mind you I'd be would have been seen since birth they would see him til age 21 as I was told by 2 different receptionists) I asked if his checkup would have happened 6 days after he turned 18 would they have seen him and given him his shots and the lady told me yes and I said, but he would have been over 18 and you don't see over 18 yrs olds. She said well, that is different. I said, no that is not different, he would have been over 18 yrs old. It makes no sense what you are saying and your receptionist shouldn't be calling and lying to get patients then we have to go find someone else. ****I called back and asked for a manager and Susie said no manager there, so I told her what it was about. She said the manager could do nothing and only Dr. Joseph or his nurse could approve it, so apparently Susie won't even let me let leave a message for a manager. Wow!!! Thanks Susie!!!

Dr. Amosun has consistently provided our girls with excellent care. She is a good listener and always provides a well thought out plan of care. She is caring and easy to talk to, treating patients like people not just cases walking through the doors. My girls love her!

Dr. Gunning is amazing! She is very sweet and caring. She knows how to work around toddler tantrums and also interacts with my child on a personal level. We signed in today and before we could take our seat we were already being called to the back. All staff is friendly, bilingual, and it’s always a speedy process. Highly recommended!

Dr. Amosun has always taken her time to graciously answer any questions we might have, and she has provided us with excellent care, knowledge, and encouragement as we care for our children. I switched over Academy after my previous doctor wouldn't listen to me about my son's asthma, and I came here for a second opinion. Joe was the first person I saw in this office and was super great. Saw my son and got him all set up with his medicine. After that I switched over to Dr. Tobi as his new PCP. He loves her! She's amazing with him, he never cries. Love her as a our doctor and the ckinicas a whole. Everyone is super nice, yiunyou always get a real person!

Love bringing my baby here. He's been coming for years to see Dr. Amosun, with the occasional sick visit with Dr. Gunning and Joe in the busy winter months. Everyone is super nice and genuine. The nurses are great, my son never cries whencried when we go, he loves it. He knows he's in good hands and it feels good to have your child like his doctor and the clinic. Thanks everyone!

We’ve been going to Academy Childrens Clinic for years and love the whole staff, but Dr Amosun in particular is always patient, helpful, and engaging. When we went through a recent health scare with my child, she was very thorough, detailed, and compassionate. We always ask for her when she’s available!

Dr. Amosun has come through for my family so many times. We’ve been fortunate to not have any major health issues but I feel Dr. Amosun provides the same level of attention to my inquiries about minor rashes, low fevers, stomach troubles, etc. I always receive timely responses with an explanation and options for how to handle.
