Last week I went to the emergency with a severe pain. I was admitted to the GI and stayed there for four days. I was so impressed with the care I received.
Thanks to the very kind receptionist at emergency room, to doctor Matt and nurses who did a great job. Thanks to the staff at GI who made sure I am in a good hands of the caring professionals. Many thanks to nurses specially to nurse Kyle who was so respectful and patiently cared for me like a son caring for him mom. I also like to thank doctor Siciliano. Thank everyone.

First time being here and I was treated SO good. Every single doctor I met was down to earth and helpful. I had Elaine help me get situated before surgery and she was simply amazing. The anesthesiologist that came in to speak with me made me feel so safe like I didn’t have anything to worry about at all. 10/10 would recommend this place for scheduled surgeries!

My 82 year old mother is getting excellent care, but the entire hospital seems understaffed since the last time she was there. Co-Vid is affecting everything! The nurses are efficient but overworked. The resident doctor, Dr. Thomas, is an excellent doctor and she dresses for success to boot. (See picture) My mother has loved the food and care she is getting, but it doesn't hurt that she has her own personal aide, me!

Please do not let the bad reviews deter you. I literally could not have asked for a better team of people to care for me. I have been through the absolute ringer over the last 6 months; in and out of other hospitals (on the Indiana side), my PCP and specialist, I’m only getting worse and not getting any answers.
Dr. Warf is an extraordinary doctor. One of the best I have ever encountered in my life. He has listened to every single symptom, taken everything into consideration, asked thoughtful questions and researched every thing I have brought up. He said, “normally I wouldn’t run this many labs in the ER, but since you’ve been at this for so long I want to help you find some answers”. Wow. What more could you possibly ask for? He is a passionate doctor and it shows.
My nurses have been wonderful; answering all of my questions and being so sweet and attentive. Even the ER tech, ultrasound tech, and nurse in training have been wonderful.
I don’t have a single complaint!

The nurses were absolutely amazing. The doctors told us everything we needed to know on a level that we could understand. From the time we walked in until we left, two weeks later, everyone was as polite and helpful as could be. I could never thank this hospital enough for what they did for my family. 💖. …

I had to come in for a procedure & measurement before my lumpectomy. I was amazed & comforted by the caring, thoughtful, sincere staff. The Dr that tagged my tumor did great, no soreness afterwards like the biopsy. They have a courtesy staff member that kindly walks you to where you need to go, just such an exceptional experience!!!! I would rate you as top notch hospital......best I've ever been in & I've been in a lot!!! Keep up the fantastic work 😊

Dr.Hayes is the sweetest as always ! All of the of nurses are nice too. They are the only hospital I'm comfortable going too. I can't ever thank them enough.

My wife and I were transferred here after our local hospital showed that our baby unfortunately passed away. The amount of loving care we received is second to none. Everyone here has been beyond kind and we couldn't ask for better. The room, food, nurses, doctors, everything was amazing. Thank you to everyone who took care of us here during this time, we're grateful to have been here. Even through the Covid pandemic the staff have done their best to take care of us timely and orderly. The delivery was unfortunate, but because of everyone taking such good care of my wife she didn't feel much. I hope that we will be back here again but with good news of having a healthy baby and get to share that with the people we've made connections with. Thank you all again for the care.

Great Doctors that listen and care. The Techs & Aids are professional and friendly. But the nurses...they're no words that can, nor will ever, explain how wonderful the Nurses are. Specially the Nurses on the forth floor. A big shout out to Carlyn & Breanna!! These two made me feel like I was their only patient. Thank you!!

This Saturday I was at the Norton Hospital because my daughter was sick and the experience I had there was magnificent, everyone was very friendly and the hospital was super clean, the waiting time was not that long and I especially want to thank Dr. Stark Wayne N Jr., MD, he treated us very well and even spoke with me in my language, Spanish, where I felt very comfortable, even though the doctor is not Latino. I recommend this hospital 100%

To the security guard who worked the evening of March 23rd in the ER. Thank you for being so kind to my husband and I when you brought me in while he parked the car. You brought me a pillow and blanket to try to make me more comfortable as I was in pain. You immediately grabbed my husband when I went back. It meant a lot just the reassuring comments you made to me and my husband. I wish I knew your name to thank you personally.

The pediatric surgery department is amazing!! From the moment we walked in until the moment we left!!! They made us feel at ease and answered all of our questions! The girl made us a highlighted map of how to get our car to the right garage(we got a little lost). The nurses and anesthesiologist everyone made us feel very comfortable. Our recovery nurse kori was an angel! Honestly every single person there was amazing. I appreciate all of you all. Thank you for making this experience so much less stressful!

Easier to access than Downtown hopspitals. Nurses are nice. Food at ground level Bistro has different section of food and serve in front of you. I had steak with gravy, corn bread, broccoli and corn muffin for lunch. They have variety of dessert too but close at 6pm though.

I’m 33 weeks pregnant. From day one until now I can’t complain about anything, the staff are professionals, well educated, and helpful. Thanks to the Norton staff for everything!

Was in the hospital 6 days, 4 in ICU. They literally saved my life when I went into heart failure. Nurses and doctors were caring and attentive. Couldn’t have asked for better care.

During my pregnancy, I had two trips to the ER (4 days before birth and 1 day before birth). Both times were great! No wait in the ER. I was taken straight to the L&D unit each time. The treatment was great and I was more than impressed. All nurses I had were friendly and I never felt uncomfortable. I loved my delivery experience there and I will definitely be back

I delivered my son here on 11/07/20! Regina Mash, one of the Midwives, delivered my son. She was fantastic and I have so many more amazing things I could say about her. She is a beautiful soul from the inside out! Her kindness and compassion during such a hard time in my life, was exactly what I needed. I was 12hrs away from my family and delivering a baby with barely any support, Regina and Clementine, her student at the time, were beyond professional, respectful, and so incredibly supportive. Thank you so much for making my first childbirth experience something truly beautiful! You are absolutely wonderful and I could never thank you enough!

My experience with this doctor was absolutely horrible at Norton Women and Children.
Dr. Oksana Shkyanka
On December 3, 2020 (the day before my due date) I went to the emergency room because my water broke. Once I got there, I was checked with a strip and was swabbed twice for amniotic fluid because the lab lost one. I had to wait hours to see the doctor. While I waited, fluid continued to leak out, which caused the nurse to have to change my padding twice. After a few hours, Dr. Oksana Shkyanka knocked and swung my door open (before I gave her permission to enter) and rushed in without introducing herself. She also never identified me as a patient, so she didn’t really know if I was sho she thought I was. She then went to the other side of my room where my monitor was located and told me that she saw no amniotic fluid and that I could unhook myself from everything. She told me that I could wait next to the nurses station after unhooking myself and wait on the nurse to give me discharge papers. She was almost out of the door when I was finally able to stop her abs ask her who she was. She then turned her name tag around and said that she was a doctor and repeated what she told me to do and said she had more important stuff to do because another patient needed her and that I needed to unhook myself, get dressed, and wait by the nurses station. I asked her what was the fluid and why was it coming out if it wasn’t amniotic fluid. She stated that she didn’t know for sure and that I should ask my doctor because she’ll be able to tell me more. I told her that I wasn’t unhooking myself because I am the patient and I need to see the nurse right away. She said ok and that she had to go because she has something more important to do because a patient needs to deliver. When then nurse came in, she wrote the doctors name down, told me that she works for an agency that the hospital uses, and apologized but honestly, I feel that the doctor should learn better bedside manners. You don’t tell a patient that their situation isn’t important. The next day, I had an appointment with my actual doctor abs she tested my fluid. She looked inside and saw an abundance of fluid and sent me straight down to the unit to get a bed and start antibiotics immediately because there was a chance that infection set in because my fluid had been broken over 24 hours. My child’s father abs myself were so upset and disappointed because she put us in more danger than we were already in. I understand she’s got her education and she’s not the one in the hospital bed but she needs to learn better bedside manners, how to treat patients, and respect for patients and fetus. I am so disappointed and she ruined my delivery! I know that delivery doesn’t usually go as planned but it could have been so much better had I not been stressed about being on antibiotics the whole time. I really feel let down by this doctor. These are the doctors that give healthcare workers a bad name.

I really want to give a huge shoutout to all the nurses that helped in my care when I had to visit. I know off the top of my head Sierra and Julie, but they were all so incredibly nice to me and each other. They were patient, understanding, and really made my care top notch. I know things have been difficult since covid, wait times are longer, people are more grumpy, but every person I interacted with in this facility gave me so much kindness and patience. I was a little confused walking around and a man looked at me and without asking pointed me in the right direction.I’ve always trusted Norton over any facility, and I’m glad I decided to go here for my care.
THABK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!

Dr. Ginn is the best damn Doctor there is!! We are very lucky and thankful for him, he’s the one who delivered our baby girl. He’s very compassionate and empathetic. we love him and highly recommend him!
The whole team did really great during my delivery, especially our nurse Michelle and Leena :)
Sarah Dougherty
My daughter had surgery here and everything was excellent from start to finish. Her surgery nurses were the sweetest!

Can't say enough positive things about our experience here. My wife had a planned C-Section recently. We'd love to give a special recognition to our Anesthesiologist Adam, and our favorite labor and delivery nurse Jenna. Both made my wife feel extremely comfortable from the beginning to the end of the process. Incredibly happy to highly recommend this to anyone in a similar situation.
Megan Resnik
The one hospital I know my family can count on. I've delivered my kids here, my son got his first stitches here, my daughter had amazing nurses and doctors when they said she had appendicitis (we had to transfer to downtown though, for surgery 😔), and they diagnosed my husband with a rare illness and continue to care for him! They have treated us as family. We have yet to have a bad experience. I know this is where we will get great care from people who love what they do. Hands down, the best hospital around

Avoid this hospital during the pandemic!
My mother was a patient here in February of 2020. The staff were all kind. The hospital physician, physical therapists, nurses, aides, and housekeeping staff were courteous and helpful. They were professional and caring at all times. The reason I am only giving 3 stars out of 5 is that I would not have a friend or relative of mine go there during the pandemic. Several of the staff told me they were not getting vaccinated, for various reasons. Patients were allowed to stand in their doorways along the hall with masks below chins. I was told patients coming into the hospital were not tested for Covid unless that was the reason they were at the hospital.
Most troubling was the fact that staff made my mother take off the surgical mask she wanted to wear. She wanted to wear it both for her own protection and for mine (the only family member allowed in due to Covid). She had no trouble breathing with one on and asked to continue wearing it. (Her medical issue had nothing to do with her lungs or breathing.) However, several hospital personnel told her to take it off. Most just said she did not need to wear it since staff were wearing masks. Notably many staff were just wearing loose surgical style masks, not N95s. Worst of all was a staff member who told her to take it off because it might cause breathing problems. This kind of misinformation at Norton hospital shocked me.
When my mother was moved to a rehab facility after a few days at the hospital, every staff member was wearing an N95 mask and a face shield. All residents were tested upon entry and/or had been tested within the preceding 24 hours and all staff are tested twice weekly. I have always thought highly of Norton Hospitals but I think they need to better educate their employees (re surgical masks do not cause breathing problems)and encourage any patient who chooses to protect herself and her family.

The care there is exceptional! I had an outpatient mammogram and an ultrasound at their Breast Care Center. They would not let me leave until I received the result verbally from the radiologist. I had outpatient surgery a week later. The staff was warm, friendly, and professional. I will recommend them to my friends and family.

First baby was born here June 3rd delivered by dr. Shariff. It was an unexpected delivery since I was only 36 weeks but I ended up developing preeclampsia and they made the call to induce. I have nothing but good things to say about the experience. Everything was explained in great detail by everyone who talked to us. Dr. Shariff was very careful and comforting throughout and the nurses were beyond helpful. I wish I could remember the name of the delivery nurse I had throughout the night because she went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable. Natalie with lactation was amazing and helped my preemie to latch. Nurse team for myself and baby were all amazing. Food and nutrition was always on top of it and very nice. And not to mention anesthesia who was amazing at talking throughout the entire process of an epidural and making sure to follow up afterwards. Honestly from start to finish it was just a great experience and my birth was so comfortable. I am forever grateful to have had such a great experience and such a great care team. Labor and delivery, post partum, and pediatrics: THANK YOU!!!! so beyond pleased with this hospital.

Dr. Horlander is the best Doctor I have ever had! I loved having her around for my entire pregnancy! She made me feel very important and comfortable! We ended up having to have a c-section and I was so glad she was in that room! My incision looks great and I have a happy healthy baby! And my anesthesiologist was absolutely amazing! I wish I could remember her name! She was so sweet and down to earth! She talked to me and made sure I was comfortable the entire time during my c-section!

My wife and just had our first child here and we could not be happier with how the hospital treated us and our newborn. The entire staff was courteous, professional, knowledgable and warm to us for our entire stay. The entire staff in the newborn maternity ward was especially helpful and the nurses and aids did an amazing job making us feel prepared to take our little one home. We will be having any and all of our future children here as well, no question.
Jessica Walker
I had my son here in May 2017. We had exceptional care. The nurses were very nice, and helpful. They also did everything possible to keep our newborn in our room as this is what we wanted. The food was also better then any hospital food I had ever had.
Kimberly Sanders
This is the second time my son has been admitted in the pediatric side. And again the staff in the ER and the staff and doctors on the 6 th floor are absolutely amazing. My son was having what the doctors said was a severe asthma attack. The were kind helpful explained everything they were doing and I wish I remembered the nurses name. But she was great. The staff rocks and I wouldn’t go anywhere else but here. Thank you for the wonderful care you all gave my son and myself. Ten stars

I have to say that this is the BEST hospital EVER we were treated very well during our stay EVERYONE on the labor and delivery and 3rd floor are awesome if I could mention everyone by name I would but I have to say Nurse Regina and Ellie are the best on the 3rd floor and Nurse Kelly in Labor and Delivery is the best as well as everyone all of these nurses I can tell all do their job out of love. Thanks for being so loving and caring and compassionate.

I wish I could give this hospital and their staff more than 5 stars. About 4 more ago we found out that my nephew's girlfriend was pregnant and because of some health problems he would not survive after birth but she still had to carry the baby to full term. During this time she began seeing Dr.Weeks. We could not have asked for a better doctor. Without full details, we found ourselves at Norton's Women and Children hospital Saturday night right after midnight with my nephew's girlfriend in labor even though she was scheduled for Csection on Tuesday. From the moment we walked into that hospital we were treated with the most care and respect that you could ask for. We wound up in the operating room within a couple hours and the baby was born at 4:01am an only survived a little over 2 hours. During that time we asked for a clergyman to baptize the baby and they had one there as soon as the baby was born. Every doctor and nurse that we have encountered during this tragic time has went above and beyond anything we could ever have expected or even asked for. I will never be able to express our gratitude to the staff at this hospital.

I recently had surgery on my back, which is scary no matter how you look at it. My Dr. was fantastic, but in addition to that, the nurses at Suburban were phenomenal! From my pre-op visit a few days before, the nurses who got me ready on the day, the nurse who rubbed my shoulder reassuringly as I was going under anesthesia, Danielle in recovery took exceptional care of me, and again before I was released. I felt like it was my own mother taking care of me the entire day. Such a professional and compassionate group of nurses who really showed their merit and their knowledge. Thank you.

I have nothing but great things to say about our experience at Nortons. The staff were the friendliest most caring people I've encountered at a hospital before. I especially want to praise Nurse Farran and Care Specialist Mae as they stood out the most. I know hospitals are often short staffed on nurses but the team here was on top of their game. It was apparent everyone had specific roles and they were very organized. Nurse Farran had very strong leadership qualities and made us feel like we were in great hands. Care Specialist Mae is the sweetest lady and her title is beyond fitting, it was as if she was family or we had known her for years.
Aside from the staff the hospital itself felt very welcoming, up to date and clean. Due to the current covid situation there were several check in stations where visitors are screened for symptoms of illness and security stations. The labor and delivery department has top of the line finger print scanners to ensure visitors are where they're supposed to be. Every time I would go on to the secure floor I was acknowledged by staff and they were observant of my bracelet and visitor pass that allowed me proper access. There were constant checks to verify baby and mother had matching bracelets and were properly identified.
The cafe was very surprising as hospital food gets a bad reputation. I was amazed by the vast amount of choices and they even had made to order items such as grilled cheese. It was a pleasant surprise considering covid regulations put a limit on how often you can leave the hospital. It was also nice that they had late night options, something that is almost necessary with unpredictable newborns and being awake at odd hours.
Overall it was a top notch experience and we truly look forward to growing as a family with the amazing staff at Nortons again in the future.

The staff in the Breast Health Center are amazing. Everyone from the clerical staff, to the technicians, to the radiologists are caring, compassionate, and professional. I can not say enough about how everyone made a very stressful and horrible experience more than bearable. I was so well taken care of and accommodated. I will never go anywhere else.

My son had to get tubes placed in his ears at the Pediatric Outpatient Surgery area this week. The nurses and staff went above and beyond!! This was the first surgery my son had, and it went seamlessly. The facility was top notch, and they took wonderful care of my baby boy. I will recommend them to anyone needing to have an outpatient surgery done on their child. Thank you so much Norton Women's and Children's Hospital. I couldn't have left my child in better hands!
Caitlyn Keltner
The pediatric emergency staff were amazing. They brought us to a room quickly, the nurses and Doctor quickly performed the tests needed and results came in less than five minutes. Overall, we were there for about 30-40 minutes total. This is the best pediatric place in Louisville. I will NEVER go back to the Kosair downtown again.
Donna Houchin
Amazing hospital, great staff, very caring. Dr. Tanner was very a great doctor, good follow up, explained procedure and very caring. All nurses on 7TH Floor was ver attentive and caring. Appreciate all they did for my daughters care and me staying over. God Bless each of you ❤🙏 …
Carla Morgan
The nurses, staff and clergy went above and beyond when My Mother was there. She was moved to ICU unexpectedly, and both parts of the Hospital treated her and us very well! The kindness and care, and hugs, and treatment was unbelievable! Thank You all for your loving treatment of our family!

I had my baby in September, and all the stuff were amazing especially my doctor Kris Barnsfather she is absolutely the best and I’m so glad I chose her. Very professional always making me feel comfortable and just a nice person. Usually I don’t write reviews but this time I really had a good experience and couldn’t ask for more. And again thank you Dr. Barnsfather you’re amazing

I had the BEST staff interactions. I’ve been to the doctors EIGHT times this year and it’s only June so I know my doctors. They were the kindest people dealing with a lot of stress. Honestly, if @nortonhospital can pin down the man who is a nurse name Micheal(he’s a black man roughly 6’+ Tall in GE) GIVE HIM A RAISE. I was having a really bad day, and he took the time to learn my name and be kind to me. I have never smiled that much at a doctors office. Him retaining this positivity, especially during COCID, deserves to be acknowledged and rewarded!
Chris Flaherty
The staff members were very professional. They were helpful and efficient. Their focus on the health of their patients was a sign of a good hospital.
Joshua Kelsch
Hospital stay was very nice. My wife had daughter #2 there and it was clean and efficient. For the most part the staff was pleasant and caring. However, it may have been Monday blues but on that day specifically, staff seemed a little less happy to be around and help.
Jessi Wren
Went into the ER. Dr. Stearman, Karen, and Megan were amazing. They really took time to listen to me and make sure I received the treatment I needed.
Cleopatra
I received THE most excellent service during my stay here for my FIRST major surgery. The staff, Dr. Boyd, Tammy, Julia, Tara, Ciarra, Jenn, and others were AMAZING! They all made me feel so comfortable and made sure my needs were met. I couldn't have asked for a better experience considering I have a fear of hospitals, but this brief stay, has changed my view of hospitals completely. If I could say a million Thank You's, it would never be enough. And IF I EVER need to go to a hospital again I'll will DEFINITELY come here. Simply outstanding and Thank you ALL!!
Jacqueline Stivers
I had to have an MRI done in radiology, I brought my 7 year old daughter with me because of a change in schedule.. The ladies were nice enough to set her up in a little room by her self with a cover and turn the T.V on Disney with basically a pull out couch/bed while I got my MRI. I really felt 100x better about her having to attend with me after that. Very nice!
Natasha Cottrell
I had to have two surgeries this year and both surgeons (Dr. Brown and Dr. Reinstine)were great! These are two surgeons who truly care for their patients. Dr. Reinstine even saw me between surgeries right before Thanksgiving because of an infection scare. He could have easily referred me to the ER but instead went above and beyond to help. The nurses were all fabulous!
Robin Disney
I had a breast biopsy and was treated with wonderful care and concern. My family couldn't stay with me during the surgery due to scheduling conflicts so the nurses were constantly checking on me and becoming my family. I adore this facility and would recommend it to anyone.

I delivered both of my children here pre Covid. Been to the ER for myself and my child post Covid. Every time I received exceptional care.

My father was admitted in July with complications from COVID-19. A Float Pool nurse, named Jeremy was by far the best nurse I’ve ever encountered! He was so kind and after each time he entered my Dad’s room, he called me to give me an update. I live in North Carolina, being so far away was incredibly hard and with his diagnosis, I wouldn’t have been able to see him even if I was close. He went on his lunch break to get my Dad a Coca-Cola (hospital only has Pepsi products and had heard from my sister that Coca-Cola was his favorite). When my father passed away, I called to check on some items that might have been left behind. Jeremy happened to be there when I called and he asked to talk to me to tell me how sorry he was to come back to work and find out my dad had passed away. Needless to say, I was so touched that he was so kind and actually remembered me and my Dad. I would love for someone to contact me so I can make sure that I can send him a note and make sure he will receive it!
Highly Pixellated
Fantastic service, as long as you get the right nurse. Some of them are a bit rude, and you can clearly hear them talking about other staff members/patients as if it's high school. However, they do take good care of people. They just seem to forget that they're at work
Nour Kurdi
On 4/27/16 my wife had a baby boy,
This is by far the best hospital stay we have ever received, everything was like a 5 star hotel, everything is well managed, Hospitable, pleasant, secured & nurses were more than helpful. This healthcare facility is #1 on my list, we would recommend anyone to here. Would personally thank each and everyone in the entire building. Couldn't ask for more.

My son had a procedure there at Nortons last Friday. Our apprehension was completely erased within minutes after meeting the staff there. You could instantly felt the genuine caring from all those that attended us. Very impressed at the care they gave my son. He's doing well. Thank you all and thank you Mary Beth!!
Patricia Crawford (Trish)
Staff was very friendly to my mother and tended to her needs after her knee replacement. I would recommend dr cantalano for this procedure and again very nice dr. and staff. That k you so much for being good to my mom. God bless you all and we are still here for the night, hopefully quick release tomorrow to go home.
Barbie Norris
I've taken my boyfriend out to this hospital for an EKG and blood work prior to knee replacement surgery. They were given the paperwork from my Dr and after going out there 2x's, I received a call from the Dr this morning, gotta go back again because they didn't do something. Hopefully 3rd times charm. Unbelievable
Dee Rogers
We were in the hospital a week with my husband. We were in 2w and we couldn't have been treated any better. Let me tell you Regina, Ashley, Natalia and Amy and so many more were the best of the best. And 4w was also a great floor in Feb 2019. Adele and Sueyoung were the absolute best also!
Thanks for all the hard work!
Chasity Snow
My son visited for a head wound and had a lot of anxiety. The staff was very sweet and reassuring. They did a great job of explaining everything to him and calming him down. We really appreciated it!
Brigitte Schreiber
It is the best feeling when one knows he/she is in caring hands. To the five nurses who recently cared for me during my surgery, a huge thank you. I appreciate their cheerfulness, seriousness and professionalism. God bless, Brigitte E Schreiber

We had a great experience- from the woman who registered ya to the attending physician. My daughter had a handmaid’s elbow and the Dr fixed it in literally 30 seconds. It was quick and really friendly
Jan Vessels
I was recently seen here in the ER for a dog bite to my L eye. I was seen by Dr Cunningham, best ER experience ever! He was kind, thorough, explained and did everything to provide the best care and attention to my injury! By far, the best ER experience I've ever had!
Patrick J “Pat” Bowles
Parking difficult, as usual. The outdoor facility signage is confusing/ pathetic. The wait time to get assigned into an ER room and to see a doctor was far too long. Second time to experience a long wait. Nonetheless, the medical care was excellent, and I would still go back for this reason alone.
Nathan Anguiano
I was visiting my newborn grandson and the check in process is extremely slow and inefficient. We had to check in daily and and scan in our fingers and provide our driver’s licenses each day to get access. I don’t mind the extra security but there’s only one security officer to check in lots of people and had to wait 30 minutes each time. My recommendation is that they add another security officer to handle the intake. At one point there were three security officers standing around the checkin station while one officer was trying to check in about 8 people in line.

3 Stars - I havent had any other experiences with other Kentucky Hospitals to compare this to. I live in Tennessee and was only up therea month ago for a job assignment. They pulled off my pants to make sure I didn't have any cuts and what not on my thighs, hips, and waist area. I tried explaining that ONE it wasnt from period or pregnancy. And TWO that it was from my face and I hadn't had any cuts located in those areas. There were no noticeable indications for cutting, slashing, or piercing marks, but I guess they wanted to double check for whatever reason. I guess they just wanted to make sure I really wasn't trans to put me through such brutal tribulations. I've been shot, cut, and stabbed in those areas before when I did government contract work in Kandahar for a previous profession. I would know what that would feel like for those sort of injuries. Even with a major concusion I am able to concentrate on my surroundings a bit better than others. Even after finding out I was trans they still treated me with a bit of respect, but they officially changed my gender marker. And seeing it on every paper handed to me caused great dysphoria. The woman at the front desk tried to tell me that Worker's Compensation would not cover me not being on the clock. But I was explaining the fact it was a remote location away from my home that they would cover it. I've been a traveling project coordinator for my company for nearly two months now. There isn't a time where I've ever been home in Collierville longer than a few days a most. So I've become well equated with work-related injuries in remote locations.

This is a wonderful hospital. The rooms are 5-star. The staff is organized, and make you feel like you are well cared for. There is no way you are going get better care anywhere else.

My 9 year old son had to have blood drawn so they decided to use an I v in case he needed medacin later. The One Stick method. The nurses were so nice to him. They calmly talked to him about the things to come and let him touch them. They even numbed the spot where they would poke him for his I v. I was Amazed!!! He didn't even feel it!!! Wow!!! They totally Rock!!!

Bryan Trujillo
Great Hospital but can you please have ALL your departments with their contact info on you're website? It took me far too long to reach radiology, which the website doesn't even show there is a radiology dept.
Janine Bennett
Needs to have friendlier staff in the cafeteria part. There is a slender african american staff member that walks around with a chip on her shoulder and needs to be replaced. You could get better food at a better price by going to any of the restaurants around the hospital and I am willing to bet a lot friendlier service or maybe just open up a can of Alpo dog food you smuggled in
Ron Shepherd
Went to the ER last night in a lot of pain ( was diagnosed with a UTI) and can't say enough about how nice and professional all staff was. I wish I could remember their names. Thank you to everyone that helped.

this time the service was decent they did an outstanding job with my 5 year old daughter that had a temp of 102.7 they got it under control fairly quick i give all the dues for that.however when a family goes into er they expect to be kept as a family.that way the other parties no exactly what to do in the after care of the ones getting seen.as i said they did an awsome job with my daughter yesterday but why oh why did they send my fiancee off by herself to another end of the er.i had to keep my fiancee on face chat just so i had somewhat of an ideal what was going on and how to treat her when i got home to help her get better.that is rediculas and should nvr happen.the hospital in general needs to fix that problem and keep families together so they know exactly whats going on with each other.the same thing happened another time when i took my fiancee into er.they took her to give her a test down below and even though my fiancee said she wanted me in there the request was denied, when there was no reason for the denile.this prob has to be resolved or i will take my business elsewhere point blank

I was sent to emergency room from my doctor's office with a ruptured appendix, I informed girl at desk that my appendix was ruptured ( she was on her cell phone and ignoring patients. After standing in front of her for
10 minutes) she told me to take a seat. After waiting for over 1 1/2 hours they finally registered me then returned me to the waiting room for another hour. A RUPTURED APPENDIX is a serious problem and I should have been taken back for surgery immediately which happened after finally seeing a doctor.
After surgery care was great, I was there for 5 days, all the nurses were great. The ER definitely needs to address issues concerning what emergency means.

Wonderful experience with the Pediatric Surgery team today. Every nurse we interacted with was kind, loving and showed genuine care toward our son for his scheduled surgery with Dr Nau. Valet parking was quick and efficient, as was pharmacy pick up. Pre op and instructions were clear and helpful ahead of time and would definitely return if needed again for our son.

My idea is to help you find the department of cancer in the photos that follow. All the people who treated us were very friendly and we saw the doctor without having to wait long.

Mi idea es ayudarte a encontrar el departamento de cancer en los fotos que siguen. Todas las personas que nos atendieron fueron bien amables y vimos al doctor sin tener q esperar mucho .
