Wonderful hospital!!! Good food in the ground level cafeteria, hospital staff are nice, the hospital is very clean.
I went in for a neurological observation. The in-patient food is great! The beds are very comfortable. The have a vast menu of food you can choose from. Everything from pasta, to salads, to a small serving of ice cream; below I added a photo of the Chicken Tika Masala I ordered several times.
The doctors and nurses are great. Everyone one is very kind and easy to talk to.
Note to everyone out there:
If you treat your nurses, doctors, everyone out there with kindness and respect, you’ll likely receive kindness and respect back and maybe even an extra can of sprite or two ice creams. :) Also, don’t just do this because you think you’ll get something from it, do it to because these people are there on their own accord to help you, they work LONG hours, have to deal with a lot of different “personalities” and people. Be kind, be respectful, be genuine.
Respect and kindness should be everywhere, not just hospitals, but everywhere!

The best hospital I have been hospitalized here three times and the truth is they have always treated me very well the doctors are very professional and the nurses too, I am a transplant patient here I received my kidney transplant twelve years ago and I am doing very well thanks this hospital is Like my second home when I come to appointments I don't want to leave I will always be grateful for everything that the doctors and nurses have done for me and my family THANK YOU WITH ALL MY HEART

I spent 24 days here and let me tell you I felt like I was treated with respect by all from the doctors to the graveyard security guards. They all became my friends. The food was off the hook so many choices and always got the orders right. The nurses all friendly and greatest you with a smile like if they were all my nieces and nephews.
aaron best
I've been there plenty of times for all kinds of stuff from just a few stitches on my hand to stitch up some cuts and a cut artery from glass, to blood work, to getting stabbed 54 times in 1 sitting being transported there in an ambulance and them saving my life. Love the place. Also had follow up appointments for injuries and infection that they took care of me for. Love it.

Kindness, professionalism, attentiveness, creativity and gentle humanity abound at UCLA Medical Center. These folks inspire an inclusive environment where genuine interest in others emerges naturally and flourishes. ... And they're good at health care too!

I have been treated by Dr. Erik Dutson a bariatric surgeon and professor with UCLA. Original referred by Ronald Bussittil liver transplant surgeon and professor. Simple the best. All the staff are compassionate, caring and professional. Yesterday 12/7/2022. I had laparoscopy surgery. Unfortunately Dr. Bussittil retired. But been care now by Mohammed Al Khabani. The care I received today 12/8/202 by Jolly RN was the best . Very sweet, truly compassionate and caring. If you ever need a bariatric surgeon, Dr. Erik Dutson is number 1. Thank you kindly for my care.

Relative to other hospitals this gets a 5. It’s not the Ritz Carlton but it does the job. All staff are very competent. I’ve been here for surgeries, in and outpatient procedures, and I still see my specialists here.

My daughter has received Great Medical service at this location in the Emergency room, lab work, X-rays department.
My daughter has multiple medical complication the staff focus on her needs. And not on her disability for them every patient is important.
Clean hospital very well and respected staff.

From our experience of Ronald Reagan hospital, our dad had a 12 hour surgery and an emergency surgery. Post surgery in the ICU, our dad has had many wonderful nurses, but one stands out from the crowd, Rico has been amazing to our dad and has treated him like he is part of his own family. Rico is very caring, compassionate, and has the best bedside manners. His surgical team has been amazing and continues to check on him daily. They offer physical therapy speech therapy and they make their rounds daily .

Dr. Quinton Gopen and his team, Dr. Issac Yang and Dr. Jos'lyn Woodard and the Neurosurgery Team, the PACU and ICU nurses, the ancillary staff, the food service staff - indeed everyone at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center - I can say with absolute certainty that I made the right choice coming to UCLA for my surgery .... Everybody at this facility has exceeded my expectations. I am very grateful to everyone that has participated in my care. Thank you!

I'm having a procedure done as we're speaking. The staff here are wonderful. From sanitation to hospital personnel, you can count on everyone to treat you with respect and courtesy. This is a great hospital. Thank you you still a health.

I went to an emergency room in Culver City and I begged for help for my son who couldn’t breathe. They handed me a form and sent me to a filthy waiting room. I promptly left and drove to UCLA and they security, nurses, and doctors were quick to help. They had tremendous bed side manor, they were kind, and they did everything to help my child feel better. Thanks you thank you.

The best hospital in America. Period. Speaking as a heart transplant recipient this year. Rated number three in the country for transplants. Behind Cleveland Heart and Cedars-Sinai.

Great care after my daughter's kidney transplant. Her kidney donor had very good care too. Transplant team, doctors, nurses - all made the experience easier. Cafeteria was good. Parking is pricey at $12 a day.

Came to UCLA to see my aunt who was having a lung transplant. We arrived at 4:15am after receiving the call that a lung was available. They took her back at 5:35 and had her new lung by noon. The surgery and the surgeons are amazing! The ICU staff was on point and attentive. We are only a day post surgery but so far so good. The hospital waiting area for surgeries was super clean and the volunteer staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! In this area they have a board that keeps the status updates for your loved one in surgery. They update often and the doctor has someone call about every 60-90 minutes to give verbal updates like "the incision has been made and the lung is here" or "the lung is working and she's being closed up". Incredible and awesome for those awaiting their loved ones. There are great restaurants and fast food spots close to the hospital. There's a Target, Ralph's and Trader Jo's close too. Sad Vegas can't have quality doctors like southern Cali.

My son was taken to this hospital after he suffered a stroke in the street, I must say that every single person and specially the surgeons are angels in disguise. THANK YOU Ronald Reagan hospital is a blessing in Los Angeles city. I don’t think my son could of being in better hands. I am forever grateful to each and every one person that took care of my son Christian.

I had a biopsy done on my cancerous tumors, UCLA Doctors and staff was very professional and caring. My experience was absolutely amazing, I highly recommend UCLA Hospital!!!! Thank you so much.

UCLA saved my mom’s life with a lung transplant in 2020 and I am forever grateful to all of the medical staff. They go above and beyond for their patients. Every single person I have encountered there is extraordinary.
My mom’s pulmonologist Dr. Saggar who advocated for her to get a lung transplant from day 1 and has exceeded all of our expectations in a doctor, my mom’s transplant coordinator Sapna Shah who is the sharpest, fastest, most incredible nurse practitioner that exists, surgeon Dr. Biniwale who quite literally saved my mom’s life in an 8 hour surgery, lung transplant social worker Eboni Moran who has given emotional support and a shoulder to cry on many times…when you are in the presence of these people you are in the presence of heroes. They are knowledgeable, compassionate, professional and have hearts of gold. And 7ICU, 4ICU, and 7West nurses and care partners are the kindest people I have ever met.
I could speak on UCLA for a long time because of all of our experiences here, a place that was once terrifying that turned into a place of familiar faces and a second home. I will end by saying I could never say thank you enough to Ronald Regan UCLA and UCLA Health! 🙌🏼

No better hospital in the world as far as I'm concerned...my son was born here so he could be rushed to open heart surgery at birth, the staff here have loved him and cared for him like he was their own son for 16 years and I am forever grateful

This is the best Hospital ever because they have help my mom my little sister and my little brother accomplish and Achieve a lot of Progress with their kidney failure health condition. This place has the most smartest, bravest, & the most kind and much more list of good things I can say about these doctors . I think we should trend things like normalizing the appreciation of doctors for what they do to keep/help with a lot of people stay alive and getting there health right. I personally LOVE UCLA & I would never second guess on recommending this hospital for everyone.

Best hospital in California, number 4 in the nation, no more!

unfortunately on 6/22/21 around 5pm, it was a very busy day for them, I just wanted to say they handle it very well I was shocked, yes I had to wait about 6+hours to be seen, but when they took me in they handle everything very perfectly I was worried they would rush and ignored my issues, a lot of issues happen in the ER that night that I never expected and they were quickly to gather all the right nurses and doctors to attend the issue. I just want to say they deserve the very best those nurses and doctors and even administrators did a remarkable job that day!!!
Thank You I really appreciate what you all can do!!!!!

Ive been coming to this place since I could remember for my Dads epilepsy appointments and I enjoyed it kinda. I would always go to the vending machines and get snacks and wait in the waiting room for a few hours. It’s been a while since I’ve been here since my dads insurance changed but his Doctor here was a very nice man. I really like this place and hope my dads insurance could change back again.

My mom loved the food at UCLA Ronald Reagan. In addition Amy and Mary Ann gave excellent and competent service. Very fast and responsive service! My who stayed there thought that she was at the best hospital ever!

The whole staff here was really caring and professional. My stay here was beyond pleasant! Dr. Rose Paneno was great! She is really knowledgeable and treats her patients with the utmost respect and care.

This is where I received my second dosage of the vaccine for the virus. I got a little turned around, but one of the staff was able to direct me to the right building. Even though I was early for my appointment, the staff were able to quickly process me. The nurse who administered the shot was very polite, and she made sure to walk me through the process. The injection was painless and I was able to sit for the required observation time in a clean, quiet environment.
I highly recommend taking public transit if you are coming here for a vaccine appointment. The Big Blue Bus stops right across the street from the medical center, which is convenient and cost effective. I also recommend bringing a book or some other reading material for the observation period.

I have been a patient of Ucla now for over three years. Prior to this I was being seen by a slew of doctors at cedars who completely butchered me. Working with Ucla as a patient is an absolute dream. The doctors and nurses and care partners care so much about their patients. Someone like me with multiple conditions very very rare the staff here goes out of their way to make sure I’m healthy and safe. I know that there can be a long wait in the ER but you have to understand this is the best hospital in the west. Waiting is going to be worth it for you to be seen by the top doctors and staff at this hospital. The Santa Monica hospital is also equally as good I’ve had several inpatient stays there as well and they’ve all been phenomenal. Dr. David Chen absolutely saved my life. He took me into surgery the next day after seeing me in clinic and took out a ton of rotted mesh. Not only that but he’s been by my side nonstop for three years. I’ve had to have multiple surgeries here at UCLA and they’ve all gone great. Currently I’m in the epilepsy unit being monitored and it’s absolutely so nice to be treated so well. I’ve been to other hospitals in the area and you do not get the same treatment and they do not listen to you the same way. Ucla is very much here for you the patient. Often times they will be training other medical students but that is great because there’s gonna be more wonderful doctors in the world. Ucla absolutely spits out the best doctors and nurses. You will never be done wrong by going here

Wells, I don't even know where to start from.
My son was born here and their stuff is super professional.
They take really good care of their patients.
They're super kind
May God bless all this people that work here and make everything happen.

One of the best hospital cafeterias (and many restaurants) anywhere. Yes, some food is not the best, but overall they do a great job with an excellent salad bar.
Ben Wheeler
My wife gave birth to our first child here. Aside from waiting a couple hours too long for the epidural (there was an emergency in the other room, thats very understandable) this experience was everything I could have hoped for. The nurses in particular were experienced and had just the right amount of care & coaching, fantastic to work with.
Resawn Cunningham
So pristine, professional, and peaceful. What a great place to get medical care for those that are able. I LOVE UCLA!
Maddie Alvara
I love this hospital! My dads gotten both of his kidney transplants here! He’s had two kidney transplants! He comes to UCLA once a month for check ups and infusions. They’ve let me spend the night with my dad! Great food in the cafeteria! Took care of my day really well!

staff was very nice and ready to help out, including those volunteers, doctors & nurses were kind, caring and attend to their patients & families. UCLA is the best hospital.
Rochelle Cornell
If I could give ten stars I would. I live in Lake Elsinore which is 2 hours from the UCLA hospital. I went to the hospital today so that my disabled daughter could get Dental work done and because she suffers from seizures, she had to be sedated and needed to be at a hospital in order to do so. I’m so grateful to every nurse and doctor that went above and beyond today. I’ve gone to different hospitals countless times and I’ve never met so many kind hearted, patient, and compassionate people who really take there job to heart. As a parent of a disabled child your sometimes frowned upon and I have had experiences in the past where I felt discriminated against but today the dedicated healthcare providers truly made me believe everyone is created equal. They will never know how much it meant to me I’m forever grateful.

I spent 6 weeks with my son in this hospital. My son had back surgery but had many complications due to his health condition. Every single person from doctors nurses , care partners, nurse supervisors, that took care of us went above and beyond . Very professional and human in the time that we loosing hope. They were there always smiling and helpful. 👏 thank you for the best service .

Great staff here and skilled doctors. Highly recommend!

Best hospital, doctors and staff in the World!!! Went into hospital May 2018 very ill! Had a heart transplant, with the most amazing care. The doctors are exceptional and really caring, while the nurses and staff are always around for anything you might need or want. Always with encouraging words and advice from everyone. I could never express, in words, the gratitude I feel for the hospital and the transplant team of UCLA. I have been given a second chance at life from a “hero” I never knew and I want to honor that gift!

Today was my last clinical rotation here at UCLA. Overall i am very thankful i was able to complete my hours here. The hospital is amazing and the hours and availability were perfect. UCLA is a well known teaching hospital. Almost everyday you’ll see students walking around eager to learn. The amount of experience I’ve gained working at this hospital has prepared me for what’s to come. I give it 4 stars and not 5 because there were some days i would over hear some of the staff complaining about teaching students. I even saw some staff ignore and intimidate some. Although i wasn’t one of the students who received this type of treatment, it really bothered me to see how such a prestigious hospital could have staff members like that working for them. I hope in the future this problem is resolved.

My mother was a patient at Ronald Regan. Whilst i was not able to visit her during her stay the Doctors and Nurses kept me well informed of any procedure and took the time to go over every single detail with me which kept me grounded. I cant say how much it meant to me to have each doctor and nurse attending to my mom reach out to me . My mom also raved about how wonderful the doctors and nurses were . I am eternally grateful to the Amazing Staff at UCLA Ronald Reagan.
Aram Martinyan
My name is Aram Martinyan I have been here in Ronald Reagan hospital for nine days now and I would like to start off by saying that I believe Ronald Reagan hospital is one of the best hospital anyone could be in case of health issues.
I believe it’s one of the top best hospitals in the entire world.

Loved it .
I was scared to death from the complicated procedure that I had to do, but they made it the most sweetest experience of staying in hospital and having such a medical operation.
The best staff, super supportive doctors, nurses and others before and after procedure.
No delay in the scheduled surgery. Super clean hospital.
Easy to track the status of the patient when operation is ongoing. Very good service.
Very professional attitude. They explain everything very clear from A to Z If I need to get another operation done, I will definitely choose this hospital.
God bless them all, they are all super nice.

I had to have the guro of urology help me with my health issue because nobody where I came from knew what the issue was and Dr rozz saved my life. All the staff there was polite. Thank you all for your gratitude

Everyone was AMAZING!!
I was treated like a welcome guest. From admissions to transport to nurses & their aides, techs, and doctors...they were all cheerful, pleasant, helpful and made my Hospital stay a little bit more bearable. Thank you!!
The food was impressive & tasty {fresh herbs & veggies}, which is not usual for a vegan.
**There was a group of 4 medical students medical students who came in today {Friday} doing an art program that THEY created and implemented. It was really fun and helped bring my spirits up.**

I visited a friend who had to stay for 2 days after surgery. This hospital is updated, well lit, clean and his room is spacious. He had a great view of UCLA football field. Medical staff especially the nurses are caring and provided him with good care! They made sure his needs are met and spend time talking to him.
Gratitude Attracts Blessings - Sam
Best hospital in the country who has forgotten how they become one of the best. Success has them using Patient Experience Team as a prophylactic distancing and desensitizing from knowing actual patient experiences.
As a repeat patient who has had multiple life saving procedures, I love the doctors, nurses and staff at UCLA. I have and continue to participate in clinical studies and each of my procedures made the hospital over $100k each. I've earned UCLA over a million dollars. I'm very profitable for UCLA, though I can't tell by the regard they have for me, even when I write about something positive.
I have re-reviewed from 1 star to 4 stars after multiple dialogues with hospital management. While the clinical staff are very competent, the management dashboard has many warning systems that aren't working. The outpatient pharmacy is a disaster. Check Yelp reviews. There's a disconnect between patient care, patient experience, hospital marketing team and the management.

My mother was hospitalized here waiting for a liver transplant, this was very hard for her and our family after months in the hospital she received her new liver. During the wait and after the surgery the staff were the best and we are thankful for all their work. From the cleaning staff to the surgeons, all have to commended for all they do. Thank you !

Transferred to UCLA from my local hospital with a virus of the heart. Was there for about 20 days. After going through all the questions and testing for a heart transplant I was approved. During the week leading up to getting a heart they kept me alive and comfortable. During my time there I did not experience one not one single employee that appeared to be having a bad day. They all were very kind and caring. Amazed how much each person knew about me. The doctors are all tops in their field. The nurses were just as good if not better. The care from them made all the other stuff you're going through seem better. Needless to say my heart transplant was a success. It's been almost a year and I'm still amazed every time I go in for my monthly visit or test just how great these people really are. Still. Five stars doesn't seem like it's enough.
Thank you heart transplant team( coordinators, nurses, doctors and everyone in between)!

Definitely the BEST doctors and staff! I visited the ER, it was clean, modern and...WARM...nothing like other emergency rooms. The staff was great from the security team to the administrative team to the nursing team to the physicians! The doctors had a "shift change" during the first 20-30 minutes of my visit, we were kept informed and involved throughout our visit. The first doctor advised us that his shift was ending and another provider would also attend to us AND still took the time to provide an exam, order xrays and have a very informative, interactive and interested discussion with us. His demeanor was professional, well-educated, highly interested, sincerely compassionate/caring. Easily one of the most, if not THE most pleasant and effective medical visits I've ever had. The next physician was equally impressive. Thank You to each UCLA Ronald Reagan ER team member who CARED (by every definition) for us while we were there. We felt like family. Thank you.
Marissa Lejbowicz
I had my best friend transferred here when she was dying in another hospital's ICU. They saved her life!! The ICU staff was amazing, I have nothing but good things to say about this hospital. The facilities are top notch and the service was of great quality. I will be forever grateful of the ICU staff at UCLA of making a very difficult time the best it could be.
Alicia Martinez
I had an amazing experience here! All the nurses were so caring and very attentive. The admitting process was quick with great staff! My surgeon Dr. Gelabert was amazing and he had the best bed side manners! The discharging process was speedy as well.

Everyone was professional and caring. I am a registered nurse and very picky about my medical care. The team of Dr's, nurses, and ancillary staff were wonderful. They had great hand hygiene and inferction control procedures, they thoroughly anticipated my needs during my stay my pain was well controlled, call lights were answered very quickly and I was never made to feel like a nuisance for putting on my call light I can't say enough positive things. I didn't have even 1 caregiver that wasn't amazing, and usually you have at least 1 that isn't up to par. Food services were great, they would ask you when you ordered what time you wanted your tray and would bring it either at the exact time requested or a little before. I had the chicken breast and it was lean with very little fat and no gristle, well cooked but not dry. My vegetables were frozen not canned and very good. My omlet in the morning was cooked perfectly. I wish I wasn't from out of the area so I could use this facility for all my healthcare needs.
Trudy Avalos
My husband suffered a severe stroke and was in the ICU for 13 days. The nursing staff is the best I have ever come across. They are caring and its nice to see its not just one nurse but the whole staff!. The doctors keep you informed. Although I got the impression that they do not like you to ask to many questions.. The hospital is nice and very clean.. The parking is very expensive however.
Jose Landa
Really great hospital and staff, I came here to get my IVC filters or stents unclogged, expecting to have a skin graft surgery done here too. Dr John Moriarty is my doctor in charged of the IVC filters placed in me.
Elizabeth
I brought my husband to this hospital for 3 different surgeries and the Dr, Nurse and staff have gone far above and beyond to make him & myself feel comfortable and safe. I wouldn't trust any other hospital with the life of my husband. I'm so very grateful for helping him stay with me for more time.

Having been in many hospitals in and around Boston, Massachusetts and going through 14 operations with countless outpatient procedures, I found UCLA Westwood to be the finest hospital I've visited, hands down.
Everyone, from the people cleaning the bathrooms to the top surgeons are pleasant and informative. This comes from the top, and it shows. Thank you management.
I've had six operations at UCLA since 2014. They always have their act together, treating me with kindness and respect. Everyone pays attention to details; it's important.
Thank all of the staff from bottom to top, that make this facility a Top Notch Hospital, bar none.
Sincerely,
Lliam

Excellent care here! Staff and Doctors are great!
Susie Q
My sister was hospitalized here. Friendly staff. Very specialized hospital. The doctor in other hospital wanted to remove almost half of my sister’s stomach but UCLA only took only a very small part of it . Amazing work. A+ cleaned environment. Teletracking patient is outstanding, too.

What "man" can do to heal himself is within these walls...the rest is up to GOD!
UCLA is as good as it gets.
The thing that sets it apart? Loving human kindness! It seems they only hire kind people.
From an accountant in the elevator comforting me...to the cashiers in the food court holding me when the tears couldn't be held back any longer.
They know it's not all about pills and cutting. Healing is about LOVE...and they are full of it!
My #1 Top 10 Medical Facility...Anywhere!
P.S.
They've restored health and life to members of my family so many times over the last 50 years...all I can say is, "I'm so grateful to have you." Thank you, thank you, thank you! ♡
Ben
My girlfriend had to come here when she was feeling suicidal. The doctors and nurses were very kind and treated her like a human being and with respect. She is transgender and no one misgendered her. (I'm transgender too and don't pass well at all but they even used MY preferred pronouns when they found out). They were busy as hell and still got her into a mental health center in less than 8 hours with full beds which is crazy fast for an emergency room. The other time we went in to a different hospital for the same thing it took 36 hours just to get her out of the hallway and they Never found her a health center to get treatment. Very kind and considerate doctors. Beautiful facility.

I guess I got lucky but I was seen immediately on Sunday around 12:00 noon. I was immediately assessed by a nurse and then a doctor all within 20-30 minutes. It was a little confusing as to where to park and where the emergency room even was but after one circle around I found it. Everything seems clean and the staff is friendly. Blood test come back within an hour or two. I was told by the nurse that based on the time you come in the wait times can be long since that was one of the negative reviews I saw before coming in, but I guess I got lucky.

Got my kidney transplant and the whole staff is wonderful.

In 1981 my brother was hemorrhaging, and was seen by our family doctor, who ran blood work on him and it was determined he had leukemia.
A friend in high school also had a brother who was diagnosed with the same disease, and they shared with us who was their treating physician.
Dr. Ho was his name, and he came to see my brother at Holy Cross. With no time to lose he got permission from our parents to transport him to UCLA (the red brick hospital at that time).
I recall seeing so many oncology patients there, and how the nurses demonstrated such care and compassion with each one.
Anyways, Dr. Ho, and Dr. Grossman were my brother’s doctors there, as he became a resident of that facility for about 3 months, in a isolation room. These doctors were on a quest to see if the bone marrow treatment could help cancer patients. What dedication these doctors and nurses had, and every thanksgiving they are remembered fondly, because my brother won his battle thanks to such caring team. When my brother was diagnosed he had just turned 18, and he is now 56 years of age. He is pretty much healthy, maintaining himself fit.
Dr. Ho and Dr. Grossman, remember you are loved, thought of, and being prayed for, so that you can continue passing all your knowledge to our future young doctors.
Because of you, I have been working at one of Los Angeles County hospitals in the San Fernando Valley named Olive View-UCLA MC.
My brother and our family are so greatful with you, the research teams, and the great nurses that took care of my brother.
Thank you, and thank you a million times over.
Respectful,
Irma Alcantar

Saved my husband's life as did our wonderful donor. He is a liver transplant recipient transferred from Kaiser. They take the hardest cases other hospitals wont. We were there nearly one year in the ICU. They are like family to us.

Dr. Cameron, his amazing team and all of the folks at the medical center could not have been more helpful/wonderful! Even the team of folks cleaning rooms and removing waste were wonderful during my husband's stay at the hospital. We are returning for more care this week. Looking forward to their awesome help!!

The medical staff and volunteers made my Dad's hospital stay so much better than it could have been. In a scary situation for our family, their good natures and friendliness were so much more than we expected from a hospital. The building itself is gorgeous--designed by I.M. Pei and his son! And the facilities are pristine. Their $12 valet parking is the best deal in Westwood!

The best and most beautiful university in the world in all respects in terms of higher education and scientific research and education and the average who wants any query or any question about this university or about Los Angeles I am present and ready to provide services for you and answers 😊 …

I concur. I took my 80 yr old mom there for her cataract surgery. The staff was friendly, and funny. I love the fact that they treated my mom like a Golden egg. She has a bit of short term memory but they understood and helped her relax thru the procedure.. thanks a bunch to staff for the entertainment.

UCLA saved my sons life!!!!! He spent 29 days in another hospital and they had to transfer him here because they couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Within 2 hours UCLA properly diagnosed him and 7 days later we walked out of the hospital on his way to remission. My son continues to have the best medical team we could have asked for.

So update from down below. Today I had to take my son here to the ER and service was exceptional this time. It could be the time of day or that it wasn't crowded but everyone was sooo nice. Thank you to the team that was on shift this afternoon. 10/8/17
I love UCLA. My mom worked here for over 30 years. Looove my doctor BUT the ER Department is going downhill. I come on the 405 from Hawthorne any time I need to go to the ER. No one is friendly anymore!! Bring back the people who actually cared! One lady just ignored me when I was in her face asking a question. Really???!! Might start thinking about Torrance Memorial next time. Try them out and see how it goes

Friday night around midnight, I didn't wait too long. I've been in ERs in different cities before and this has been one of the best experiences I've ever seen. Of course, I don't go in with high expectations to be treated royally, that is just absurd. I was treated with respect, everyone was patient and kind, and the wait was not long especially once they saw how much I was bleeding. I was never made to feel bad or insecure. I didn't get pain medication for a while because my blood pressure was too low but nurse Vanina kept working on my fluids and I eventually became strong enough for some pain meds. I saw so many doctors and nurses and they were all very professional. The scariest part was going into the operating room and the anesthesiologist was really outstanding, he knew I was really nervous and helped me to use the bathroom instead of having a catheter (because I freaked out about that). Our insurance had started the day before so we didn't have any card on us but the financial advisors were very kind, patient and understanding.
Marco soto
My father was treated here for a lung transplant and the staff and the doctors were great. Every step was explained in detail they were very patient and answered all of our questions. My father had a successful surgery and i would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone.
Ted Galsim
UCLA Medical Center has saved my life twice, once in 2008 and again in 2016. Thank you, doctors, nurses and everybody responsible for my extended existence. You have been so wonderful!! But above all, so competently excellent in what you do. I trust my life and those of my loved ones to you any day!! Again, thank you from my family and I.
Carole Albert
My son had a rare condition that in 1964, liver transplants were new, only 2 or 3 done. Surgery was done to try to fix his bike ducts, but failed. We were waiting for a doner, but one came to late,. But doctors and staff were wonderful to us and did everything possible to keep him alive, but God had other plans.
But the staff at UCLA were compassionent, thoughtful, and so kind. I have never forgotten them.
QUEEN Ta Tiana
What an amazing hospital for children. My children have been members of this hospital for seven years. The hospital appears to be clean and tidy for the most part. The staff and nurses are really friendly. Cons: traffic in this area can be horrible during rush hour
Lydia Magana
Truly am amazong hosiptal with some of the best doctors and nurses in the medical field. My dad received a heart transplant there 2 years ago and unfortunately a few months ago he started having rejection.. The rejection was sereve and damaged his heart.. He was 70 so he couldn't undergo another transplant but the team never gave up him. However he passed away 1 month ago. The staff made him comfortable so he wouldn't feel any pain and they were so sympathetic and nurturing to us all. The nurses and doctor's came in to offer their condolences and surround him during his last moments. They were a part of our family and although my dad is no longer with us, we will forever be grateful to the transplant team and all the amazing staff. I would recommend this hosiptal to everyone! Best in the West!
Sexy Carmen
My son has really bad asthma last year we went there and they kept up 4 days to make sure my son was better and able to return home. Most hospitals want you in and out. They came to check on him every 10-20 mins the whole time we were there. I give this hospital a 👍 Thanks UCLA …
Michael Aedan Barrera
I had a ear problem I couldn't hear from my left ear and when I was around 11 I have surgery for White memorial claiming that was my eardrum. After a couple years I was fourteen after a couple tests myclinic send me here to UCLA medical center I got tested X-ray and everything bone growing next to my the hammer so I had thank u UCLA medical center I think you're perfectly and everything and this will be my hospital
Susanna Gomez
The wait was excruciatingly long as 7 hrs 35 mins. However once I had a bed all of my needs were completely taken care of. They were generous with pain meds, asked questions and LISTENED, were kind, attentive and superb. I've no insurance yet I was still treated to compassionate kindness and I am so grateful I went here! Yes it took me a few lifetimes to get in. But once there, I was completely taken care of with no meanness, hassles or judgement.
I would recommend anyone who is frustrated with horrid treatment by medical personnel try this hospital. They will change your mind about the entire field and remind you what is the definition of compassion. Kudos and god bless to all the hardworking staff here!
DEANA BASS
I was in for brain testing in October 12th to 23rd. Because I was all wired up I couldn'dt leave the bed. All the nurses were very nice. I didn't ask for much, the nurses would come in and check up on me to see if I needed anything like a walk or something. I really loved it when the dogs came to visit me. My favorite one was Zanders because she fell in love with me. When it was time to leave she pushed her owner away.

I have come to UCLA Health twice a week for the past three months for my seriously ill daughter. I have been graced with the utmost consideration, compassion, friendliness, efficiency and whatever else these people have in their hearts. From Oncology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Labs, MRIs, infusions, xrays....every single person we have dealt with has been wonderful. Never an unkind word, nor even a disinterested face...I am so highly impressed. This is from a person who is a lifelong USC employee and medical patient - the USC employees could certainly take some lessons from the staff at UCLA...thank you for keeping my daughter alive!
Gary Spencer
UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center... The greatest hospital in the world...Thank you for all you did for my wife. Nurses, doctors, interns, PT and staff.. you were nothing short of Heaven sent. Now 30 miles south to Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach...ah not so much..0 Stars....If you have the choice UCLA is the place you want to be in the greater Los Angeles/Orange County area.
Tahseena Kahn
This is probably the best hospital besides Cedars Sinai I myself was never a patient but have either taken others there or visited people there. Doctors are world class! Nurses are probably the top in the country.
Alise H
My family and I thank you so much my mother had her liver transplant here. If you or a loved one needs to get checked on please come here especially to get a second opinion. My mother was misdiagnosed for years and only found out she had an auto immune disease instead of hepatitis C. UCLA is by far the best for liver transplants
Silvia Fuentes
Great Doctor's, Nurses. Thanks to all the team that was on my case UCI and UCLA They saved my life thanks to a Doctor on UCI who decided to do ECMO to save my life, when there was no more hope , (Got transported from UCI to UCLA for ECMO) Thanks to God and Doctors and Nurses I'm alive. ❤ GOD BLESS THEM.
Yessenia Riverah
very far hospital but overall, the nurses are nice and so is the cafeteria. This is such an clean and well organized building however it stinks so bad right after I came out. Horrible
Jose Breeding
Best nurses and doctors that took care of me if anything happeneds to me again ill always go back
Evan Daggett
A family member recently had a lung transplant at Ronald Reagan. Truly every staff member at the hospital was kind, patient, and helpful. The surgery was a success and I couldn't imagine it happening anywhere else.
Carl Porter
This hospital is the most helpful place I've ever been to. If your going to stay in a hospital you can't go wrong here. They have the most wonderful staff from the janitorial to the Head surgeons. Absolutely wonderful hospital.

Medicine, Endocrinology - Diabetes and Metabolism ...
Dr. Ines Donangelo is one of the most caring and kind doctors I have ever met.
She truly cares about her patients and her positive attitude made my thyroid issue much more tolerable.
I had an extremely large thyroid (goiter), which is the reason my Primary Care Physician recommended I should see an Endocrinologist, and he suggested Dr. Donangelo.
My initial visit with Dr. Donangelo made me feel right at home. She explained to me from the start everything that I had questions about, and concerns with, and she didn’t push me to do anything I wasn’t ready for.
For example, she explained the pros and cons of taking the Radioactive iodine therapy as supposed the more permanent solution: Removal of the thyroid.
But, she also explained all the positive benefits a thyroidectomy will have over my lifetime.
She suggested I should take some time to think about it, and after talking with my better half and my family we made the decision to get the thyroid removed.
I mentioned my decision to Dr. Donangelo, and she set into motion the best possible care anybody can have!
I feel so much better just knowing that she will be in my corner for the ongoing treatment, which can, and most likely will, last a very, very long time.
Kathy Rodriguez
My baby girl was here for her heart defect. Every single person here loved my child and treated her like a princess! She got every bit of attention she needed and someone was with her at all times. UCLA will forever be our second home.
israel velasquez
Great hospital.. top of the line. Always very confident in the level of assistance that they bring. My daughter was born with spinabifida and they took very good care of her.. back again for bacteria at age 3 in the hardware and i am always very confertable knowing that ucla can take care of it.. first of all its all glory to the most high.. my Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.. Praise the Lord
Alyssa Nusbaum
Had robotic-assisted release of Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrome on 6/21, and have absolutely nothing but praise for everyone at UCLA. I have a fair amount of medical trauma from childhood and they were absolutely amazing- held my hand before surgery right up until I got put to sleep, lightened some heavy moments with humor, and everyone just treated you as a human being and did their utmost to make sure you are as comfortable as possible and know that you’re in good hands. I owe my health to Dr. Dutson and the team at UCLA, and highly recommend them!
Margie Y
My stoical mother was having bilateral, neck/ jaw pain and pressure. As a physician, I was worried that she might be having an atypical cardiac presentation. She was treated professionally, kindly, and efficiently every step of the way there at UCLA from Nadia(intake nurse) in the Triage area to the ER physician (Dr. Morocco), to the nurse practicioners in the Gonda Direct Observational Unit (Shirelle and Stephanie), nurses (Amelia, Sandra, Tina, etc..), the Cardiologist (Dr. William Suh). The ancillary staff who were so kind and thoughtful to my mom
The facilities are modern and very clean. We are so blessed to have a Stellar Medical facility in our backyard.
Wilberth Ruiz
best hospital compared to CS,GS,CD,GA hospitals in los angeles. The staff is amazing and truly care , from the chief res to the volunteers best four days spent here in labor and del. UCLA Emergency Department is terrific. You men are extremely good. A professional, hardworking, compassionate and being concerned group of medical doctors, nurses and different body of workers. Thanks
Daniel Rodriguez
I love UCLA! They treated me fabulous when I had pneumonia and had to be hospitalized. Only catch is Medi-Cal doesn't like UCLA, I had to bre transferred out with a broken jaw.
Aleme Family
Incredibly professional surgeons, compassionate and attentive nurses, cutting edge healthcare, excellent ER. We've experienced it all and are so thankful for their care!!
Jennifer Jackson
This place is so awesome! The nuclear inaging techs picked up on the fact I was having a stroke and insisted that I go to the ER and get checked out. They were RIGHT! I've been here five days now and Everyone at Every level is competent and professional.
Mariah TM
My Husband had a heart attack few days ago and was confined at Ronald Reagan UCLA. The CCU team were all very helpful and knowledgable EXCEPT to one A$#$!% social worker Greg, I believed his last name is Steele. This Greg guy doesnt deserve a job in social services! He doesnt have a heart and definitely need to be trained how to respect and deal with people.
Edna Makepeace
The nicest hospital I have ever been to. The staff are all kind, caring, and have great bed side manner. Never any arrogance, impatience. Doctors have superior training.
Cheryl Encalada

Many of the nurses who care for ICU patients are incredibly warm, compassionate, and gentle, and the 3 Wishes Project initiated by Dr. Thanh Neville is a wonderfully humane program that honors the lives of dying patients and helps families cope with loss.
Big Brew
Waited 3 Hrs to get seen in Emergency Room..Some staff believed I could walk even though I had torn my acl earlier that day.Wish I would've went to Urgent Care instead of ER at midnight. My fault slightly I'm just made at the ER BILL. Please go to Urgent Care if you can make it.$1200 Vs. $150 will save you.
Terry Tulak
World class facility, doctors, and support staff. We have several family members and Friends with serious medical conditions. We would go nowhere else. Very blessed to have this type of care in our own backyard.
Bobby Hosseiny
Hard working and courteous staff but you can get the run around. Doctors and their staff in to inform their patients a little better about the proper channels they need to go through so they don't have to spend hours on the phone trying to reach 1 office.
JASMIN RAMOS
DR.HEAPS and his staff were amazing. Made me feel good knowing i was in good hands. Had s surgery and was treated with utmost respect.
Jim Bley
I prefer to drive the 30 miles to UCLA Med Ctr. for both emergency and routine medical care (cardiologist is world class). Had too much poor medical care and some surprise charges from my local hospital.
