Got transferred to Valley Hospital for an emergency gallbladder removal surgery, and everything went so smoothly. The doctors and nurses were all kind and informative and I never felt like I was a burden to anyone while being there. I appreciate the care that I was given and would absolutely return to Valley for any future issues, should they ever occur. Very pleased with my experience. They made it as easy and as pleasant for me as possible. Thank you Valley Hospital!

Absolutely amazing experience.. I found myself needing emergent assessment of what were quite concerning symptoms. My nurse, Kylie was not only professional & skilled but also empathetic & caring. My PAC, Rebecca was knowledgeable & quick to coordinate the tests and consultants I needed. She explained everything every step of the way, listening & considering my concerns.
Everyone I encountered from registration, Selena, the gentleman from CT, Chris (who explained what to expect) to the gentleman from MRI ( Julius) who was knowledgeable & also explained what to expect to the clinical supervisor, Theresa were compassionate & efficient. Very impressive team.
Thankful & happy Valley Hospital’s ER team is here if I ever need emergent treatment.

The staff was professional, kind, accommodating, and friendly. I had a broken toe on the first day of a business trip, and they were able to quickly assess me and get X-Rays done. The doctor gave me a lot of information on how to take care of my injury. The nurse was very attentive and incidentally recommended a fabulous place for lunch (we hadn’t eaten all day). The place was Carson’s Kitchen, and the fried chicken skin with smoked honey was amazing!

My husband was hospitalized jan. 3 and discharged Jan 5. I would like to thank the nurses like Tammi, Candace, Mary Ann, Kent, Dr. Garcia Rodriguez, the neurologist seeing my husband and everyone that took care of him. Very impressed of the care we received. Definitely I would like to give this hospital 5 stars. Thank you despite of this covid 19 pandemic we are dealing. Thank you again for taking care of my husband Richard Olson.
Kathy Petrucci
The doctors and nurses were all outstanding. I couldn't have asked for better. They were all very professional yet personable and answered any questions I had. I pretty much knew just what to expect.
It would have been nice though if my husband could have gotten updates so that he wasn't so stressed out waiting. He didn't learn about the screen with the patient number on it until I was almost ready to go home. Also, the bathrooms could use a little extra attention since there are so many people using them. All of them were not clean.

Outpatient Surgery staff is always great! From the surgery front desk to the nurses and doctors everyone is great and really cares. Admitting needs improvement. Surgery asked if I could come earlier and I did. Both myself and surgery staff advised them and they still had me wait until my original check in time. I waited 1 hour in admitting with just 1 person in front of me. Otherwise great experience!

I had a great experience at Valley Hospital. Registration and pre-op were quick and efficient. On the day of my procedure my husband and I were greeted when we walked in and shown exactly where we needed to go. Nurses and staff were friendly and they took great care of me. I also was not rushed out of recovery and was allowed to take the time I needed to get ready to leave. I felt calm and comfortable throughout the process. I would go to Valley Hospital again for any future medical needs.

Everything about my experience at Valley Hospital for my EGD procedure was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! The check in with Flo was so smooth, then I headed to surgery and Tracy was my nurse...when I say she was phenomenal, that doesn't even say enough. I was in and out and felt completely taken care of the entire time. I wish I was having my upcoming surgery at Valley!! Thanks for the best experience at a hospital, because lets face it, hospitals aren't always known for positive experiences. Valley is the BEST!

I was not satisfied with the fact that I had to stay in the ER from the time I came in until the next day. I will say the nurse that took care of me did everything he could to make me comfortable. Once I was moved up to the fourth floor, life became much better. To all the nurse's that took care of me they should be commended for an excellent job. They truly are the best.

I went to Valley Medical for an emergency ultrasound over the weekend and was very well taken care of. Their entire staff is accommodating, patient, and polite. Not to mention they go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. One of their lab techs (Lawrence F.) was very sweet and brought me a plethora of snacks and a blanket because I was cold.
Also - they give you your results via online portal which makes it very easy for me to send directly to my doctor.
Overall it was a very pleasant experience given the circumstances of having to see a doctor during a weekend in Vegas.

The entire experience for my hemorrhoid surgery was excellent from pre-op to recovery. Surgeon, staff and nurses were all exceptionally kind, caring and efficient. Instructions were clear, informative and sensitive to my elder condition. My special requests were all taken into consideration. I was very nervous and anxious about this surgery and everyone made me feel more comfortable and safe.

My care was given at Elite Medical Center, not at Valley Hosp. Medical Center.
Excellent and compassionate care from the charge nurse. Physician was congenial and attentive. However, I had mentioned a past medical history of suicide attempt to the physician. Physician only briefly addressed that serious issue with me, and he gave me no mental health resources for followup in my 10 pages of discharge paperwork.
During and after my professional ear wash, I waited for 4 1/2 hrs. for a Radiology report. Radiology technician had taken 3 X-ray images of my right foot within 20 minutes of my arrival to the facility. As the late night progressed into early morning hours, the charge nurse had advised me several times of the hospital’s ongoing computer malfunctions and of extensive backlogs of Radiology reports to be interpreted by a Radiologist.
Finally at 4:40am, a different nurse discharged me, after I refused to wait any longer for my Radiology report. Discharge nurse gave me written instructions on how to establish an online patient portal (which was twice unsuccessful), or I could call Valley Hospital’s Medical Records Dept. the next day to find out the results of my 3 X-rays.
The following morning at 11:00am, I called the Medical Records Dept. at Valley Hospital, where the female clerk was argumentative and uncooperative. Clerk refused to read my X-ray results. She said she wasn’t qualified and she wasn’t a Radiologist. Clerk said she could Email me a release of records request, and then the Medical Records Dept would have 7–10 business days to respond to my request—or I could go to Valley Hospital’s Medical Records Dept. in-person and fill out a records request.

Great experience, friendly staff, very knowledgeable. The nurse Kelly was super nice and I didn't feel scared while preparing me for surgery. All the doctors very nice, I laughed with my anesthesiologist. Everything very clean and the nurse in recovery very attentive and helpful. Thank you so much to the whole staff, this was my first surgery ever and I'm glad that was in such a nice hospital with such a great staff. Thank you, Thank you, thank you!💝
Barbara Gafforini
Everyone was very professional and acted quickly to get me assessed and scheduled with doctors and to start tests.
Everyone attending me went well beyond their duty to make sure I understood what was happening and how they were going to proceed.
They were very attentive to my needs for comfort because of back problems and it was much appreciated.
I would like to thank all of the professionals involved in my care they were wonderful.
Stephanie Huss
The entire staff was professional and compassionate. They took care of me and got me going again after I became dehydrated while on vacation. There were several difficult patients there at the same time as I was and the staff was very patient and compassionate to them as well. I was happy with my care at this hospital.
Ben Rogers
My first observation when I walked into the door was how clean the hospital was. There was only a 5-minute wait for me to be seen and checked in. The people that helped me were kind genuinely concerned very helpful and gentle. From admission to discharge it was a very seamless and smooth experience. I also liked that it seemed that all the different disciplines and specialties talked to each other so everyone was on the same page. Bravo valley hospital bravo!!
kar cer
Fantastic attending and nursing staff. Took great care of me and tried to keep me apprised if progress to getting my required procedure. The procedure was not as quick as I would have liked but it is a busy hospital, the surgeon did a great job and I feel fantastic. I would have preferred some pain management for discharge but the whole opioid thing in the US has everyone scared to help out for legit reasons.

Everyone I met at Valley Hospital was very kind, courteous, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. Kelli, my pre-op Registered Nurse, was wonderful. She had a great bedside manner and was very experienced. She was training another nurse, Clavel, who was very personable, thoughtful, and helpful as well. Both nurses made me feel well taken care of and reduced the anxiety I had before surgery. The nurse in Recovery was also very good. She was gentle, kind, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Valley Hospital for anyone needing surgery

First time ever using this hospital. Was totally blown away by the quality of the facility and the professionalism of the staff. Don't let the age of the facility fool you. I thought the place was great! Even better was the friendliness and helpfulness of ALL the staff - in every department. Somehow, they found & hired the friendliest, most professional staff from all over Las Vegas.

After passing out and taking a nasty fall on my face/head I was in need of more than an urgent care. We arrived at Elite Medical around 3PM and went right back. They quickly performed cat scans and x-rays and other preliminary tests to assure that my injury was not a serious head injury. They then stitched me up and had me out before 6PM. They were thorough, efficient and extremely nice to work with. Every individual from the security guard at the door to the nurses, admins and Doctors were extremely nice and caring.
Being away from home (on the East Coast) I am so glad we ended up here for our care when we really had no idea where to go.

Ther was a nurse that was at Valley Hospital when my boyfriend was there for over a week, her name is Frances Gibson. She was the best nurse ever. She was perfect in every way, very caring, very attentive, very friendly, was available the whole time she was on duty, she gave home personalized care, and even asked me if I needed anything. I will never forget her! As for my boyfriend, he never forgot her either, he loved that nurse! And there were many others, too. But he made me write down her name and I had to write this review.

I had my surgery performed at this facility the Valley Hospital and i may say that staff are all enormously wonderful people. They’re all very caring and attentive to all my needs. I was so impressed of how the people that had that ultra sound machine that injected my veins were so careful and very professional. I love them . Keep it up Valley Hospital. Take care of all your wonderful staffs.
Darwin Tillery
From the moment I entered the building the entire staff was professional, courteous, and attentive. And the treatment I received from the doctors and nurses was excellent. But I must give an additional 5-stars to the nurses who took amazing care of me daily. They truly work as a team.
Thank you all!!!!

Have a very positive experience on the Hospital third floor Rm. 307 and surgery department while I was there (Jan 17-19, 2023). The nurses and staff were all efficient and courteous. They were all attentive to patient care. I had a colonoscopy/endoscopy done. The doctors and staff were excellent. I am sorry I cannot name all of them as I did not have the chance to write them down.
I have a different feedback for the ER room though. I was there for a day and half and had terrible experience. The noise cannot be controlled by the staff. My transfer to hospital room was a hardship. I had to get angry (lost my patience ultimately) before I was given a room. I was in prep for my colonoscopy and I explained to the nurse I don't want to inconvenience them for me going to the bathroom a lot. But then at the end I realized it's not completely the staff's fault, because I think they were really short staffed for a crowded ER.
Thank you all for the care I received.
Tyler Nathaniel
Everything was clean, and in order despite being packed. Every nurse or tech or doctor I saw worked quickly, effectively, and was very kind. I spent almost a week on a unit and my needs were met, while I was also treated with compassion and empathy. Techs took time from their schedule to emotionally support me during a time of high stress and turmoil. Thank you Valley Hospital.
Shirley Watt
The entire staff was wonderful. Very courteous and responsive. However the building itself it terribly difficult to manage. No consideration was given to handicap individuals. My husband couldn't come to my room after his first visit because of his physical difficulties. Even most of the staff commented on how they would get lost when they initially were hired, Think what difficulty patients have.
Sherri Schiff
Staff were all very good and friendly. I never had to wait long after I called for a nurse. I would mention names but I would end up mentioning everybody who worked with me. My special dietary needs were also taken care of without incident. I'm very glad I chose to go to Valley!
Rae
Great service at the ER. Everyone was very kind & professional. Got everything that I wanted taken care of without any pain.
No one wants to go back to hospital but in the event that one had to I would not think twice about going to Valley or recommending it to anyone.
Thanks to everyone at the ER.

So 2023 started with needing surgery on short notice. I am pretty hard on folks, don't like Hospitals, and I am a 'difficult' to deal with, but the folks here, especially the one's who helped me, were very patient, and made my ordeal a lot better to handle! I found the Facility clean, and the Staff was very helpful, supportive and took very good care of me. Dr. Sai M. Kottapalli and Valley Hospital(staff) gave me excellent care, and Thank them. I could not be more pleased with my stay last week.
Teresa Flack
Dr Thompson & Dr Ahmed were Amazing!! Judy, who worked with Dr Thompson in the cardiac area of the ER was just as Amazing. The Observation area Charge Nurses Luke and Gayle were Amazing!! I have nothing bad to say about any of the staff at Valley Hospital ER, Imaging, or ER Observation. However, my arm does, because it's all black & blue from being poked and proved by needles. 😉😂
Ed Hamtil
Went to the ER with breathing problems. They kept me in ER for 24 hours for observation. Never admitted. Just got bill. Over $25,000. I owe $120. Good to have insurance.
Lissa Thompson
The pre op and outpatient surgery team was seriously the best! So friendly and knowledge and KIND! The only thing I would change is that the pickup person was allowed in recovery while the patient is getting all kinds of aftercare instructions while still having anesthesia in their system.
Geraldine Fahrer
My first arrival was a parking problem, the lots were very crowded. My admitting time took longer than I expected. There didn’t seem to have enough staff on duty.
Once I was admitted I went to bloodworkup. The nurse on duty was very accommodating. I had left my glasses home and she helped me fill out all the necessary questions. She handled not only taking blood but uploading all the information into the computer as well as giving an EKG. One person doing so many tasks slows down the process for the next patients. She needs an assistant.
My second visit went much quicker. I arrived and was told to go directly to surgery. The wait was not long nor the preparation for the surgery. All the people I came in contact with were very efficient and polite.
My Doctor was Dr. Ammie Fleury. The surgery went well and I was released that afternoon.
Martha Cazares (Real Estate Consultant)
Valley hospital experience is the best, since the registration with Florence who took care of me she is very welcoming. excellent nurses, but most od all DR CARL WILLIAMS JR he is the best hand surgery doctor.
I had a great attention here 100% recommended
Joanne Lee
From the time of checking in for surgery, till my time of discharge; I have to say they deserve a 5 star rating from me. The nurses were all very courteous, friendly, helpful and just top notch in every way possible!!!!! I just have to say; thank you, thank you, thank you all for making my surgery such a wonderful experience for me!!!!!
Velvet Arthurs
It was a great experience. Everyone at Valley hospital was organized and very kind. I had zero complaints on my surgery date. The only thing I did notice that could have improvement was the preop department the day before surgery. Several of us patients had to sit and wait because they locked the door as they were having a department meeting. They shouldn’t have scheduled us so early in the morning if they were having a meeting
Dark Passenger
I had the greatest medical personnel. My Anesthesiologist (ADAM) was great. The nurses were all vey nice. Although I cannot remember their names. I was treated with dignity, respect, professionalism, and courtesy. Dr. Williams is the best!!
Dave The Jeweler
Emergency room, wonderfully quick and efficient
Matt, Kasper and Anthony were professionally friendly
And courteous, knowledgeable and made a terrible experience, prior to my visit to the ER, much, much better. Any one vacationing on the strip in Las Vegas
Should know about this place if they run into any medical issues. Dr. Singh really knows his stuff, can’t say enough about the entire crew.
Rhiannon J
Recently had surgery and just want to say how smooth things went. Staff is great! Nurse Tracie in the surgery department made me feel so comfortable and she ensured that I was taken care of.
La keisha ward
Anthony S (tech) was amazing and made my stay so much comfortable. Anthony came and checked on me constantly making sure I was comfortable making sure I needed everything that I could possibly have. U need more employees like him!!!!! I have lived in Las Vegas for 7 years and the Hospital is the best I have been to.
Phyllis simring
My husband, Harvey Simring was the patient. We were very appreciative that the hospital allowed my husband to wear his insulin pump and continuous glucose system which enabled him to control his blood sugar. Also, by allowing me to stay at the hospital with my husband 24/7, I was able to monitor his sugar. The nurse were exceptionally caring and nice.
Lynette Molina
After neck surgery I had a nurse name Chris she was absolutely the best nurse I have ever had in my 58 years of life she was so professional kind, smart, caring etc. Everything was just great!! What a awesome surgery experience that I had at VALLEY HOSPITAL from the beginning to the end the day I came home😊❤️👏👏💯 kudos valley hospital 🌟 …
Jodi Baron
The entire ER and other unit I was in were so caring and super attentive. The Dr. I saw actually figured out what could possibly be the cause of my illness that dates back to June 2020. I am impressed by the level of wonderful care from everyone. Thank you so much!
Linda Wilson
I was admitted into Valley Hospital after an out patient procedure on 10/4/22 and discharged on 10/08/22. The doctors, nurses and CNA's were all amazing. They showed how much they care about the patients. Kudos!!!!
Susan Davis
The hospital was at full capacity and I was scared to death. I came by ambulance after a long time to get me out of my car. Sirens the whole way there The noise inside the ER didn’t help. But, I know they have to scream to get what the doctors and nurses need to say. The guy next to me shot 5 times. He was screaming “Dont let me die” I pray he lived. They rushed him to surgery. I got great care despite all this and I would like to give a special thank you to RN Sarah, a young pretty girl with a bonnet on who really helped me feel more trusting and calmer. My 5 day stay way the best possible due to the circumstances.
Julie Hinkle
I was admitted last Tuesday to have an angioplasty Once in ICU, I was taken care of by the most caring, empathetic nurses! It’s always a Hugh anxiety situation. Theses girls made me feel so relaxed, I cannot thank them enough! Amanda I put thru hell, as I was experiencing extreme pain!! She took care of me & got me what I needed! Vanessa was soo very nice sponge bathing me, laughing & just being a comfort! Erika also kept my spirits up when I was down! Nurses don’t get enough credit, for all they do! Rest assure if u go to valley hospital for any procedure, these girls in ICU will take excellent care of you Thank you ladies❤️

Valley Hospital was the Hopsital of choice by our Dr. so we had no idea what to expect. The first stay was in October of last year and the recent stay was this October. On both occasions the staff seemed more than accomodating to assist in the needs of the patient. Night shift as can be was challenging as short staffing is the new norm. Overall the experience was good and would recommend Valley Hospital for services as the staff and facility are equipped to handle our needs when needed.
Laura MacDonald
The entire staff from check-in to medical staff were wonderful! The cheerful personalities created a low stress environment. The nursing staff was knowledgeable and caring. It was a very positive surgical experience.
Miriam Aguilar Salazar
My concerns were listened to, cared for. The staff was considerate made me feel as my issues were valid they listened to what i was hurting from and i left better than how i entered, everyone i came across was respectful, courteous and caring. Diane R, Francisco and im so sorry i could not remember the other lady that took care of me, and the techs for the ct scan were all wonderful.
Boots Edwards
Came to Elite ER seeking care, and was treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. First of all, the hospital is very clean and safe with a security guard when you check in. I was taken to my own private treatment room right away. I was asked the usual admission questions and my vitals signs were taken, and quickly treated as the staff is very efficient. Just wanted to thank the staff for my great care- Thank you Dr. Zhao, for hearing me and giving me prompt attention. Thank you to Nurse Amber, Nurse Julia and Kaspar for your kindness and attentive care, and also the ER clerk, Noemmi (sp?) for being wonderful and respectful to me.
Kristin Santos
Everyone bere starting from the front check in desk to the actual surgery room was so kind.
I was extremely scared of having my procedure but they made me feel so much better! Especially the two nurses that held my hands when I was in operating room. I seriously was about to freak out with fear! They really calmed me!
Thank you Valley Hospital
Dina Crowe
Everyone who worked with me at the Valley Hospital ER was kind and attentive. They listened to my needs and did their best to help my situation. While they couldn’t permanently solve it, they did their best to make me comfortable and to take care of me in the meantime.
Christena Graham
I did not have to wait long to be seen. The nurses were great! They answered my questions and put my mind at ease. The Dr took tests and referred me to a cardiologist.

On November 15 at about 1:30pm, while visiting Las Vegas, I slipped on a food spilled on the sidewalk and fell hard onto my left shoulder. Spent approximately 10 hours in the ER, mostly on a gurney in the hallway, waiting for an orthopedist to address my fracture/dislocation. The daytime ER staff provided very good care. Received contradicting information as to the treatment I would receive, first being told I would need surgery for the fractures to my humeral head by a couple of physicians in the ER. The decision to just treat the dislocation was made by the attending and I underwent a reduction under moderate sedation and the fractures were not treated. Since surgery was not performed I am questioning the medical necessity of a chest x-ray and some of the lab work done. Received nothing for the excruciating pain I was experiencing when discharged with my arm in a sling, just wheeled over to the main ER entrance and left by the door while I waited for my ride, around 11:30 pm. I had to wait for the pharmacy near me to open at 9:00 am the following morning. When I got to the pharmacy I was told the prescription was on hold because two scripts were sent to CVS and the pharmacist was waiting for a confirmation call back from the attending MD. The issue was finally resolved around 10:30 am.

The tech, nurses and doctor were all very knowledgable, efficient and caring. I was working in Las Vegas and developed a scary infection, they took me in right away an gave me excellent care. I would highly reccommend them over any of the urgent care or on-call doctors. Though they are a branch of a hospital and not an actual urgent care, they were fast and offered much higher quality care the most urgent cares.
Rodger Lilley
Mostly satisfied but there were instances where improvement is needed. I was in a room where the nurses station was just outside my door. The staff was loud throughout the night One nurse promised ice and water for cooler but failed to deliver until morning approach
Otherwise a decent experience but the daytime staff saved this rating from dropping lower
Christopher Maher
Overall extremely pleased with my experience.
Everyone was very professional, friendly, and seemed to generally care for my well-being.
Jim, my pre-surgery registered nurse, was and is the best !!
My only complaint is that I was told to bring nothing except my glasses case.
The first thing they asked me for was my ID lol
Plus no one had called me about payment
I had to return home to get my wallet
Very stressful on top of my anxiety lol 😱

Dr Goldstein is an excellent ER physician, he pinpointed the issue right away
I thought it was just a hamstring injury, however we found a blood clot because Dr. Goldstein went the extra mile and by ordering a Venus scan and a CT scan. This doctor has an excellent bedside manner was extremely patient when I had questions, overall he's quite exceptional.
There was a male nurse III There I believe his name was Eduardo a trauma nurse he was truly the quintessential professional very personable genuine and kind.
The staffer at the front door her name is Rebecca she was definitely kind courteous informative and helpful.
Pat M Spilotro
Great People! They even put up with me! Outstanding, I needed a surgery and fast, and these folks not only took excellent care, but also were incredibly supportive! Facility was great and I would definitely come back.
Christina Gomez
I have nothing but good things to say!! Everyone was so kind, and made me feel at ease for my surgery. I want to thank each and every one of them for being such kind people!! I had a very pleasant experience!

1. Your forms to complete should be sent to patients via email as MANY other medical facilities do. This saves a GREAT deal of time when checking in and relieves the wait times for patients. This could easily be done with electronic systems that are so widely used today. Filling out forms at the hospital is SUCH A WASTE OF TIME with today’s technology. This saves patients and staff having to do the paper at check in. Staff could just simply verify all required forms are completed and send patient to next station. This process probably works better for younger patients or patients who are familiar with technology but should be offered to ALL to SAVE TIME. I had to arrive 1 hour before my scheduled appointment (0815) and would have sat there over an hour if it wasn’t for the fact I ended up showing up at a location which was given to me by the referral organization which was the wrong location. I drove to your location for the procedure checking in around 0735 (appointment time was 0815, but was told to show 1 hour early) so I still had a lot of time to complete the paperwork and was seen at approximately 0910 and went over more paperwork. Waited inside room after prep and RN mentioned they would do procedure at 10. It was 0940 at that time and I said I’m ready if they were and 4 minutes later they came to do procedure. That was perfect as I would have waited more time for the 1000 start. I think the process from check in to procedure start could be streamlined applying lean methodology.
2. All your staff and nurses were GREAT, very thorough and accommodating. Very professional. NO ISSUES AT ALL. Even the security guard at the information was helpful in getting me to the right area of the hospital.
3. I had a specific procedure completed but on my record I pulled from health records it states I had a different procedure done that is not correct. What I had done was a anorectal manometry, but what’s showing on my paperwork as the procedure completed is a esophageal manometry. Hopefully someone catches that mistake and corrects it.
Thanks for the opportunity to provide feedback. Applying lean methodology to your patient process would significantly improve patients experience with less waiting.

Approx: 9/28/22 Was listened to processed quickly w/breathing issues. Exams, labs, etc. all initiated in near assembly line fashion. Very impressive. Blockage, inability to cough up flem/fluids and other symptoms suggested pneumonia, but after meds and breathing treatments case reduced to bronchitis. Was given proper meds and follow up instructions.
Thank you for your care. I’ve had very major surgery and procedures done at Valley Hospital over the years and have always been treated very well. I always recommend Valley to others

They attend me really quick. Everyone, doctors, nurses and staff was really nice to me. They did a very good job and they contact my insurance. I just can say thank you very much.
Tracy Anderson
Valley hospital is amazing!! I have never been to another hospital that treated me as good as I was treated by the staff here!! Everyone was so kind and funny!! From Flo in pre-op to Fran and all my nurses both day and night shift! They did so much to make and keep me comfortable. Dr. Douds and his staff have been the best! Thank you so for everything! Oh and thank you heather from Dr. Douds for all your work too get me taken care of! So much appreciation here.
Deborah Peters
Did not even attempt to diagnose why my leg was swollen twice the size and red and hot. Did do ultra sound to verify no blood clot but telling me it’s probably temporary and to follow up with my dr in a couple days didn’t help at all. First and last visit here don’t think I would get good care based on this visit. Oh they also tell you what’s your problem while you are waiting in the emergency room lobby in front of everyone sitting therr
Nazari Yates
I had back surgery there 12-27-22 and members of the staff like Tracey had me feeling safe n reassured me Dr. Kaplan was amazing. After surgery, I was waited on and greeted with a warm welcoming from all the staff, thank you Crystal, Martine and the rest of the staff members for a successful experience! Grade A!
Paula Mendez Pernas
Respiratory Therapist "MANDI" was awesome. She made my procedure an easy process. She acknowledged that I was SOB and took care of the matter professionally. Such a very nice lady.

I really appreciate all staff from this Hospital, we are from California and they treated my husband very well and attended to all his medical needs. I recommend this Hospital to anyone they are very amazing. Not only they attend the patient needs but also take in consideration the family visiting.Thank You.

5 stars for each of them!
Grady Griffin
The medical staff at Valley Hospital are the best. I recently had serious heart problems and the Valley team cleaned out my artery blockage and put in two heart stints. The team from admissions to release were wonderful with great attitudes. A special shout out to Dr. Mohi Alkadri (Cardiologist) who performed the surgery. He made me feel at ease while saving my life. I will always be grateful to Dr. Alkadri and all the Valley Hospital Medical Staff. God bless!
Rod Jung
Facility was very clean & sterile. Majority of younger staff was very caring and friendly minus one older nurse who was displeased at how slow I was changing to prepare for my procedure (I have PD) so I move very slow. She was frustrated and went out to the waiting area to grab one of my family members to change me. If you have PD, make sure you bring someone to help you change.
Julie Pascua
The doctors and nurses (RN) on the 4th floor I was on for my recovery was caring and answered the call lights on a passionate matter. But of course some CNA forgotten their bedside manners. But overall my stay was great for 2 nights 1day.
Lisa Rowitz
I had excruciating pain and found myself here. They took great care of me. They were clean, quick, communicative.
I am SO THANKFUL for Dr Fong, and the nurses and techs that helped me figure out what was wrong and set me on the right path.
Karen Sanchez
I was very happy with my experience at Valley Hospital from the Security Guard in the front lobby to all the nurses and staff that handled my case. Everyone was nice and made me feel comfortable during my stay. Thanks!!
Benson Harper
Great staff from pre-registration with Flo, to pre-op nurse Fey, to all the operation staff, to the recovery room with Chandler. All were amazing. Surgery went great, no issues after but I’m only 24hrs out. Will go back for other procedures if needed.
Carla N
Great experience. Dr. Gould and Valley Hospital staff are very courteous, kind, and professional, making an unpleasant procedure very tolerable, alleviating all my concerns. Your hard work is much appreciated!

Back in 1973 on May 30th myself and my 3 friends were in a memorial day accident coming back to Las Vegas from a Mount Charleston outing. It was a very bad accident with trauma and near death injuries. Originally we were being taken to Southern Nevada memorial hospital. Today's UMC medical center. But because of the holiday, SNM couldn't help us because of overflowing patients. So we were taken to the newest hospital in Las Vegas, Valley Hospital. For the next several weeks we received excellent medical care. ICU was tested as well as the emergency department. Well we all survived the ordeal and I have always had a special place in my heart and life for everything and everyone including the first responders who came half way up Kyle canyon road to help us get help and transport to Valley Hospital. It's going on 50 years since and I just wanted to say Thank You!!
Saeed Farahmandi
Great knowledgeable staff. Great surgent and nurses and SICU staff. Jacob at Surgery ICU was a life saver. Paula at post op went out her way to make me comfortable. DR. Johangear great surgent. Dr. Hart great bed side manner. Thank you all for taking care of me.
Emily Afo
Valley is always my home hospital that I go to. The nurses and CNAs are always doing an exceptional job. Only a handful of doctors I would say are dedicated and truly genuine with their work.
Peter Candlin
I had an outbreak of gout whilst on the first day of our holiday from England. I went to the medical centre and cannot fault any of the medical staff who helped me, even the young security girl was really friendly and professional. Thank you for helping me and , please don’t take this the wrong way, but I hope I don’t have to see you again. Thank you ALL again and take care.
Amber Hannabass
Normally I have a great experience. This time, not so much. Nobody listened to me at all. Took 5 hours to get someone to listen and by then, I was just mad and ready to leave. The. They wanted me to sign forms about leaving against medical advice…bro, you didn’t advise me of anything. Nobody listened at all. You put me in a back corner of the hall and ignored me.
shawna freeman
You guys did great; but just 1 little maybe big hiccup , no anesthesiologist on Sunday had to take a 2nd ambulance to Spring Valley. But very fast on testing and pain management was right on point. Definite shout out to the Valley Hospital Healthcare team.
Maria Davila
I want to thank the endoscopy surgery team at Valley Hospital. They are exceptional and care about their patients. May you be blessed for your kindness and hard work. Thank you!
Kathi Anderson
My visits to the Valley Wound Center have been very helpful. The staff is friendly, efficient and caring. It has been a very long haul with my Venus Ulcer, but I have hope that with Valley's care it will soon be healed.
Colleen Jeffries
I enjoyed being a volunteer in the surgery area !!!
The problem was with working in housekeeping
HR interviewed me on 10/7/22 after, I was fired by Glenn in Housekeeping
I was shocked to find out that Glenn told HR I walked out
HR statement went up to the powers to be
I pray the Union doesn’t obtain a new contract. The Union seems to be a supporter of abusive management and horrible housekeeping
In my opinion , Valley Hospital needs to fire Glenn ASAP
Glenn’s verbal abuse, intimidation and lying is class action lawsuit waiting to happen

I was in Las Vegas from out of state when I was struck with feeling very ill, ended up needing to go see the wonderful people at this location and I cannot say enough how amazing each and every staff member was the entire time I was here! Absolutely the most at ease I have ever felt in a medical facility, keep up the awesome work!!!
Bob Helm
Everyone in the ER was wonderful. They were truly concerned with my being well taken care of during my stay. Would unhesitatingly recommend them to anyone.
Kenneth Medeiros
Team members from Admin. to MD went above and beyond to make my stay as easy and comfortable as possible. Attention to every need of the patient was always a priority. Thank you one and all. KWM
B Ware
Even though they were slammed with patients, some of whom were loud and obnoxious, working through the over crowding, the staff maintained the high standard of care that I've received each time I've been at Valley. RN Graham was AWESOME.
John Hillenbrand
Everyone in Pre-Surgery were amazing and helpful every step of the way. My room nurse, Daisy, was fantastic, answered all our questions and offered great advice to be sucesssful after we got home. Thank you.
George F
First time here and It was a great! Had a cardiac cath procedure and from the pre registration to the cath lab the entire staff was great 😃👍 they really took care of everything and make you feel comfortable. I apologize I don’t know all your names.
Thank you to all of you that took care of me ❤️
Beth Blackwood
Everything at Valley Hospital was wonderful....my surgery went great, the staff and care were first rate. So happy to have such a wonderful hospital so close to home.
Katie Lee
Best healthcare experience I've had in years. Dr. Truax, nurse Matt, charge nurse Julia, Tech Anthony and registration Set. All 100% professionals. Wish I could relocate them to my own business!!
Ahmed Sedik
We would love to thank you for all your work! for keeping us alive and healthy. The staff was great and helpful. thank you for being there for all of us. god bless you all.
Big Happy
Every single person involved in my surgery from pre registration to the nurses, anesthesiologist and assistants were wonderful.
Cynthia Baron
Very clean hospital and friendly staff.
Unfortunately, my stage4b cancer didn't cooperate and I was unable to complete my surgery because my surgeon said it was too dangerous.
Susan Ware
Everyone was so helpful and caring from pre admission to check in, pre procedure to post procedure. Even received a call the following day to see how I was feeling or if I had any questions.
Tauna Davis
Everyone is very kind at Valley Hospital to the check- in lady to the doctors. Dr. Gould saved my life! And Tracy P. is the best nurse! Dr. Garth was the best anesthesiologist! The whole team was awesome! Thank you very much! I’m grateful to be alive!! May God Bless you all!!❤️❤️❤️
Vicki Zeman
I came into the ER by ambulance on a Saturday in extreme abdominal pain. I was put in a room and monitored until a decision was made as to what I had and if I was going to be admitted. The nursing staff was so kind and very professional. The next day I was admitted and taken to a room upstairs. For the time I was there, the nursing staff and everyone I came in contact with was very professional, kind and caring. The doctors were great. It was a great hospital to go to when you really needed help.
Sandy Claymon
Checking in was easy and quick and the people very friendly. It was a long walk to the next step and had I known I would have requested a wheelchair. I was taken back to my cubicle right away and the nurse that was looking over me was awesome. Professional, friendly, made me feel very comfortable. My surgery went well. However my time in the recovery room was not awesome. I felt neglected and when ask for assistant I felt it was an annoyance. Too bad as the rest of my experience that was very good.
Ms. DeShalla
I checked in a crowed emergency room, ( 6/3/22 @ 23:46pm). However the staff and the physician on staff ( emergency department care team) worked diligently seeing, testing and treating everyone there in a timely manner. I was really impressed 👏 👌 The team members were very patient, passionate, professional and so caring about their patients. I really enjoyed witnessing the interactions between the members and patients.
If I ever have any other emergency concerns, I am definitely visiting Valley Hospital again!!!
Dione Silva
This time was a better experience than we were expecting considering the situation. I'm happy that everybody listened and I'm extremely happy that even the nurses in the intensive Care unit took their time out to explain things and made things not so hectic or scary. I would also like to know how do I get onto the details of the care and the medications he was on exactly through their website it'd be much appreciative somebody could help me out but yes this hospital has improved except when somebody says they're going nuts with the next patient next door to them they should actually listen instead of ignore the patient because my husband ended up leaving early instead of finishing out his antibiotic course but that's his prerogative his problem but maybe you should take it into consideration when somebody is able to be conscious and has to hear that you weren't even able to stand that sound you were on the other side of the hall so think about it next time other than that awesome job you guys thanks 👍🏻
Jennifer Harrington
I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and care provided to me before, during, and after my surgery. Every person I interacted with was kind and helpful, from the front desk to each and every nurse, to Dr. Gordon (anesthesiologist) and Dr. Reese (surgeon). I am so pleased I chose to have my surgery done at Valley Hospital.
Doug Zwettler
I arrived early Saturday morning and received blood thinner to combat blood clots in my right lung. I responded quite well by 7 am. I did a short walk with Dr T and a male nurse and did very well. I was released by noon. Good thing as I needed to hit the road- we live in Colorado Springs. Valley Hospital took good care of me!
Lonnie Mundt
Visiting Vegas I became ill, with 5 days left in Vegas I did not want to be miserable the rest of the trip. From the moment I arrived at Elite Medical Center the staff was kind, caring and professional they made me feel welcome and had me feeling better with the medications I was given in the ER and the meds I was sent home with. I am an ER RN myself and would highly recommend this place. A Big Thank You to all that cared for me!
Dr Daugharthy, charge nurse Carmen and RN Amber.....Thank You for your hard work during this Pandemic.....you are all wonderful
Joe Castellano
I was pleasantly surprised at the service I received at Valley Hospital. From the receptionist to security to the care givers they each we’re friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The Doctors were busy yet I never felt like they were rushed when talking to me. The nurses were friendly and competent. Considering I was in the ER it was a pleasant experience. JC
Jennifer Chandler
Such a kind and caring team! It’s hard job helping people who don’t feel good and are probably on vacation- where clearly the last place they want to be is at the ER. My medical team did a wonderful job of making a very unexpected trip to the ER as pleasant as possible. Big thanks and kudos to each of you for helping me get back on my feet…and to lounging by the pool as fast as the circumstances could safely allow for.
deanne kupiszewski
The staff was wonderful.! Very nice and very caring! I'm a hard stick and they got me on first try with no bruise! The nurses checked on me often, during procedure all the doctors and nurses were calm, fun and very caring. Made sure I was calm and ok. Recovery wasn't rushed and the nurse never left my side until I left. I wish I could have all my procedures there! I can't remember everyone's name, I want to thank you all! Healthcare not easy to begin with and has become more challenging these last few years but you all didn't let it show from main desk, to admission, the nurses, my "sleep" doctor to orderly that drove me out after I was done. Thank you all for making a very nervous and uncomfortable procedure not so bad....
Brenda Scott
This is a very nice hospital. The staff is proffesional but also so friendly they make you feel so comfortable as much as possible even though your in the hospital
Adrienne Childers
Great hospital if you are having a heart attack!!! Taking great care of my mother, so far!!! Friendly, caring and I'm impressed!!! I'm from Alabama and I had no clue where to go.. Took my mother to the Elite Medical Clinic Emergency Care and I was very impressed and pleased!!! They worked fast on making sure my mother was getting the help she needed!!!
Cheryl Fedkiw
Best experience and care. Everyone was very personable and kind. ICU care the best. Shout out to Brandon Jamie and Leo in ICU and Kari on the 3rd floor. I have absolutely no complaints and received more than I expected from a hospital experience. Also heart personal above and beyond. Will not hesitate to use Valley hospital if needed again.
Nancy Barton
I visited VHMC Feb 24, 2022 with pain in my left abdomen area and back. I was placed in a room immediately after checking in at the front desk, where a nurse was there waiting for me. She gathered a bit of information, advised the doctor would be in shortly. The doctor arrived within 1 minute of the nurse departure.
The doctor ordered pain and nausea medication along with a CAT scan The medication was administered within 10 minutes, before the medication had time to begin working a gentleman from radiology arrived for the scan. He decided to come back after I was in less pain.
The pain medication helped but did not remove the pain, the doctor ordered a different pain medication, it was given within 10 minutes and I was pain free within 5 minutes. I was taken to Radiology for the scan which was very quick. The results of the scan were read and I was prescribed pain and nausea medication and discharged.
All of that to say, I have never in my 54 years of life visited an ER either for myself or family members that has been so efficient while at the same time so accommodating and genuinely kind and empathetic! I highly recommend this facility and staff!
Thank you,
Nancy Barton

I have been admitted to several hospitals over the past few years regarding the same problems that I have suffered when I was admitted to your hospital. I can honestly say I had the best nurses ever. They were friendly and made jokes with me. They were very quick to answer my call button. Honestly, they were sincerely helpful and truly cared about how I was doing. They are just the nicest people I’ve ever known. I am so grateful for those nurses that I had. The only names that I can remember right now from the surgical ICU is, Sarah, Matthew, Angela, Anushka. Again, the staff that attended to me made all the difference in the world.
John Thomas II
I always go here anytime I have a medical emergency. They are very good at what they do and their employees are top notch. I recommend people I know to go here because of how confident I am that they will get the same treatment.
Mark Casacca
Very clean and staff very polite. Everyone seems to know what their doing. The only thing that needs to be a little better is the nurses station. You push the button and might see a nurse a half hour later. Other wise a very clean and and nice hospital. Thank you Valley Hospital, Mark Casacca
Erika Hartsfield
Very nice staff. Attentive and professional. I had to ask for pain medicine (non-narcotic) to treat the accompanying headache to my symptoms which I mentioned multiple times but other than that they treated me well and helped me recover from my viral dehydration and nausea. Glad they are so close to the vegas strip as we were on vacation when I fell ill.
Aklilu Atanaw
The hospital employees took time to make sure that I had right medicine and all my procedures were done with perfection. They saved my life before. I know they would again. Doctors are great I recommend Dr. Fanning for Infection disease and Dr. Segiher for primary doctor while here. They pull there weight around in there. Trust me take it from a survivor of bad hospital encounters. Ohh and CNAs like Leticia on 4th floor and nurses like Shayanne really are patient and kind hearted. God bless them all for what they do for the Valley.
Shayna Lopez
While visiting Las Vegas, I had abnormal symptoms late at night and wanted to be checked out. The staff was nice, efficient and comforting. I was in and out and every test and process was easy and quick. Every staff member we encountered was so nice and professional. I would recommend anyone visits who needs to!
Victor
I am rating this 🏥 four stars right now I'll check back in an hour.
Super clean all around & decent ⚕️ staff.. and was super detail oriented. better than UMC. Check back in an hour. …
Billy Vallie
From the check in process threw out the entire process everyone was alway up beat and pleasant. I had some of the best nurses carrying for me from Pre-op to ICU to the last day before being released. The entire care team made me feel secure and comfortable while I was in the hospital. If you ever need a medical team to care for you I would highly recommend Valley Hospital for your needs
Michael Bryant
Everyone there was caring and professional. From the time I checked in to being prepared for my procedure, everyone seemed upbeat and happy. It was reassuring to be in that kind of atmosphere when you are having a medical procedure. Good Job Everyone!!!!
Tony Pastrano
Back in January I was in Las Vegas vacationing when I came down with covid and a slew of other things related. I went in and within hours I was being intubated. I was under for 4 days. When I came to and was in the recovery stages I was notified that the doctors here saved my life. I spent a total of 12 days there. No one hopes to be in the hospital but I owe it to the nurses and doctors here at Valley. My initial nurse in the covid intake section may not have been the greatest, but the nurse who stepped in and alerted the doctor to the severity of my issue is truly a hero. Thank you to everyone that helped while I was in your care. My family thanks you!
Colette W
Valley hospital medical emergency room is the fastest emergency visit I've ever experienced. This hospital is fast, clean, and staff are awesome. I will never go to another place again.
Micky Overturf
They were very though in their treatment of me. The started an IV to get me rehydrated and to help get my stomach issues settled down . Then after some time of observation the determined that my condition was safe to let me go. Thank you for being there for me.
Racheal Yeager
Florence K. In registration was amazing every step of the way, and made me feel very confident with my surgery. Even though it was delayed she tried her hardest to get answers and communicated with me and the surgery staff all morning while waiting. My nurse Kelly and Ebony were amazing and very nice to talk with. I appreciate all the staff that made my surgery a success as well as Dr. Kushnir.
Thank you!
Karen Guldenschuh
They were also wonderful and nice to me there was a little nurse named Tracy that was so great and very informational about my procedure. Dr. Fleury did an excellent job. Very nice hospital
Jeff Heinzel
They did a excellent job finding my back and stomach pain cause. Within 2 hours they diagnosed me with kidney stones. Very professional and polite. Eased my fears. Elite medical is top notch!
gus cabezas
The staff were all great doing what they all do best performing their duties in serving and healing the sick my name is GUS CABEZAS thank YOU ALL for what you did for me GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
Raven
Can’t complain about Valley Hospital in Las Vegas Nevada. All very professional with the job they are assigned to do. Had a family member just discharged. Dr. Riaz was very helpful in explaining everything that was happening and what had to be done after discharge. Can’t complain about the nurse that for the most part took care of the patient. Her name was Lisa. It was a combination of many staff members that were involved. From the ER staff to those in the 3rd floor hospital. A lot of patience has to be had knowing that you have to deal with people at their worst moment. And knowing that you have to give them medication that are going to alter the way they normally react. Thank You Valley Hospital !!
Catherine Blue
Valley hospital was the nicest medical facility I’ve been too. Very fast service, knowledgeable, professional, friendly staff and fast diagnosis and treatment. I wish I worked at this hospital, I liked it so much!😄 …
Daniel Slupeiks
Ended up in the Elite Medical Center in Las Vegas as a result if a fall. Super impressed with the speed at which I was seen to and treatment started..including xrays, orthopedics care etc. Being out-of country the staff were caring and made me feel comfortable to get me stable as soon as they could for my flight home next day. Huge thank Dr Singh, Kaspar, Brad, Carmen, Polina, Kris and xray tech Kenneth.
Cam Watson
The staff were very efficient and helpful. Dr Moore was very helpful , explained everything very well, and saw me in a short time after arrival. Highly recommend this facility.
Patricia Curl
I was greeted with a warm friendly greeting from registration to pre op nurses and staff. No mishaps, no confusion. Facility clean!
C Williams
All my nurses was fabulous and very sweet and had super cute Halloween scrubs loved them
Frank Fayad
Everyone was polite and helpful I'm still having problems cramping sweating hearts when I eat then I dry heave it's been a year now I don't know what to do
Lisa Rodriguez de Martinez
I had to have a total knee replacement and it was being done at VALLEY Hospital off Charleston. The surgery area staff from the front desk to the nurses to the anesthesiologists and surgeons not ONE person was unfriendly. They ALL were very knowledgeable and super friendly, kind, compassionate, and on the ball getting me prepped for surgery. I was thorough impressed not only with the staff doing the surgery side of it but was impressed by the care the nurses around the clock gave me. Every person working there made me feel like I was their only patient and that they truly truly cared about me and it wasn't just a job. I will be going back in 3 months for the other knee and I'm not dreading it as the staff made it easy and comfortable. Thank you. Thank you, thank you.
Wolfgang Pötzsch
Very nice staff, fast and professional help. I was not feeling well and my flight to Germany left at 3.00 pm. Many, many thanks !!!
Dreamyy theDuchess
i had my gallbladder removed yesterday and let me say. i was extremely nervous this being my first surgery. not only did the ENTIRE staff make me feel comfortable, my nurse had the surgery as well and she gave me valuable insight. the surgery happened so fast i didn't actually remember but when i woke up in the recovery room, i had little to no pain. i had the robotic surgery which i highly recommend. u have minimal scarring and minimal pain a day later. my recovery room nurse, he was amazing. he helped me get dressed and he called my mom for me. he was incredibly professional and never made me feel uncomfortable. this is exactly why Valley hospital is my hospital of choice. i have never had a bad experience. what made my day was a little card i received in my belongings bag from Shelly the OR RN. it simply said, " I hope you have a fast recovery." that meant a lot to me because its so refreshing when you know people actually care. i can't praise Dr. Caravella and the entire Valley Hospital staff enough. all i can say is thank you and i appreciate everything you all did for me.
RayRay Rodgers
Heather (Triage Nurse) was amazing, she and the nurse she was training were great handling my Concussion and the rude lady disrespecting the staff.
Len Rooner
Everyone wonderful, pleasant and helpful especially nurses whyme and other nurse I don’t remember her name …and Jodi nurse shadow dr Gould was very caring and dr Gould wonderful
Joan Clawson
The staff was amazing, very friendly and attentive. I love the fact that they were thorough to make sure I was OK to go home. Thank you
Irvin Blake
Everyone was very nice, professional and treated me with the utmost respect when I was at Valley Hospital.
Aubree Gary
Super happy with my visit at Elite Medical Center! I was taken to a room as soon as I got there, doctor came in shortly after, as well as other nurses and staff. The X-Ray tech Art was amazing. So kind and patient. Explained exactly what I needed to do each time and thanked me for simple compliance. Overall, everyone was kind and I was in and out fairly quickly!
jeffery Alleman
Awesome Customer Service friendly staff from the check in to the doctor and nurses as well as the cna were awesome, always was treated with dignity and respect
Chere Perez
Overall, this is a nice hospital. I've had 2 outpatient procedures done in the past 6 months. Both times the staff were very professional and the facility very clean. Most employees were wearing masks. However, in Recovery I did notice my nurse had the sniffles and her mask was off for a long period of time. For that reason, I did not want her helping me. One other thing that needs addressing is they called me twice for pre-reg and tests for a procedure I already had done. I explained both times that I had had the procedure done. Their own records could verify this. This is the reason for only 4 stars.
Monica Marra-Flachs
I was admitted for covid and had severe chest pain. They immediately took me in and run all test and CT scan to make sure I wasn't paying blood clots. They explained what to except the whole time. After being treated the doctors, nurses and admit staff have me details of what to except in the coming days. For being short staff due to the current pandemic the kept the wait time very minimal. I'm very pleased with my care.
Delreece Brown
Valley Hospital took very good care of me got me in fixed the problem and got me out of there I was very pleased thank you Valley Hospital
Yvonne Giovennella
My experience at Valley Hospital was extremely positive! Debra, my nurse was very friendly, upbeat & caring! My recovery nurse Kristen was very compassionate, attentive, empathetic and took great care of me! Also, thank you to my anathesiologist who was comforting along with the 4 very caring nurses who assisted in my surgery. But most of all I’d like to sincerely thank Dr.Wasserman for his extreme professionalism, bedside manner and walking me through my procedure. He is very loved by his staff as they all spoke so highly of him and I feel very blessed to have him as my Doctor! THANK YOU Dr. Wasserman!!
Barbara Johnson
The best care I’ve ever experienced from Pre-registration to discharge on the day of surgery. I got a call from Paula to register and she was funny, kind, and efficient. I felt like I was speaking to a friend. Came in for blood tests and was in and out in 15 minutes and signed my registration forms as well. Day of surgery headed over to surgery check in and found the Doctor had changed the time for 3 hours later but this was no problem for pre-op. They put me in a bed, got me comfortable and my Norse Jim came and started all of the pre-op stuff. Warm blankets, IV, and lots of laughter and great company from ALL of the nurses. The OR nurse and the anesthesiologist came out and immediately put me at ease. I saw Dr. Kaplan and again, great bedside manner. In the OR there was laughter, kindness, and obvious teamwork. I left absolutely loving my care at this hospital due to the amazing staff. I hope that if I should need additional care that my doctor lets me go to Valley Hospital! I should also mention I’ve had previous experience at St. Rose, Spring Valley and Southern Hills. While they’re good, Valley Hospital is GREAT!!
Deborah gutshall
The greeter sat with his back to the patients until a homeless person came in. He was wonderful with him. The doctor informed me to take two aspirin and that everyone has covid. Now the rest of the staff were great and went above their duties to help me. One even paid for my lyft after 75 minutes passed and a taxi had not come. I am surprised there are no drugs available or procedures.
Cat White
This hospital has the best relationships with their patients. I was so impressed by how polite every staff member in every area in the hospital I was in were. They don't make you feel like you are a burden to them. Monica, who is a registration nurse even apologize to me because she had to give me a covid test before even giving me the test lol. Eventhough this test needed before my surgery.. She told me she was a sensitive nurse so please don't cry. That displayed how they empathize with their patients. Thank you Valley Hospital
jamel mclaurin
I Went Into The Er For Kidney And Lower Back Pains On 3/31/22. I Was In So Much Pain I Couldn't Bare It..But I Had One Nurse In The Er Who Went Behind Her Duty To Make Me Important And Comfortable...Like I Really Mattered To Her As A Patient... She Showed Me So Much Care..That I Swear She Was My Personal Nurse And Angel. Even Though She Had About 6 Patients At A Time..She Still Came Back To Me And Asked Me How I Was Doing And Feeling..I Just Wanted To Say Thank You To Kylie H Emergency Department Nurse For All She Do To Make Us Patients Feel Cared And Actually Well Taken Care Of...Your A True Blessing To Me And Valley Hospital....I Use To Hear Valley Wasn't A Good Hospital...But You Made My Experience And Treatment Great..That I Now Look At Valley Hospital As A Better Hospital Then Some Of The Bigger Hospital's...
Mary Grable
Room Staff was inexperienced but very friendly. Food was great! Surgeon awesome. Room small.
Elizabeth Thames
The very second I entered Valley
Hospital ER I met the COVID screening lady and honestly she was the first person who set everything in motion for me. She was 10000% very nice and very professional even though it was cold by the door but let me tell you they had a huge heater to keep their staff warm. But honestly everyone was very nice and professional & caring. My surgeon had an Emergency so I will be back very soon and I have no idea my treatment will be the same. Valley Hospital was very pleasant, clean, the Staff very kind. In my book Vally Hospital is #1
Karrie Quong
Visiting the ER while on vacation was not part of my Las Vegas itinerary. Elite Medical Center is an extension of VHMC and located very close to the Vegas strip. The hotel concierge gave me their name and I also goggled it to check reviews. Everyone was very helpful and the wait was not long. Had x-rays on my wrists and luckily nothing was fractured. They accepted my Kaiser insurance so I did not have to pay anything upfront. Very good experience considering the circumstances.
Evelyn Papp-Roche
Top notch service! Krista, Mimi and all the other nurses were simply wonderful, kind and very attentive. My doctor was fantastic! He kept me informed of everything that was going on and assured me we would get to the bottom of my issue. I felt so relieved! For the first time in many months my blood pressure was actually normal!!! I felt very relieved to know I was in good hands and was able to relax. I'm eternally grateful for the all the staff at Valley hospital. In my book it's the only place in Las Vegas to go for emergency medical care.
Cindi Ruiter
Everyone was extremely nice at Valley. They answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. I was very impressed. Thank you
Marcia Gonzalez-Mason
I want to thank all the cardiologist staff especially Sharon she was so caring and grateful to me. ❤️❤️ The experience was a pleasant one went in for a defibrillator replacement and everything went according to plan thank God 🙏🙏.. I will highly recommend this hospital to all my friends and family thank you again. 🥰🥰 …
Donna Mott
The Residents, Nurses and all of the supporting staff were absolutely amazing. They explained very step, very friendly and made my stay an enjoyable experience under the circumstances. I applaud each and everyone of them. They are amazing and are TRULY doing heroic work during these horrible times and ALWAYS with a smile. God Bless each and everyone of them. Stay safe and keep up the AWESOME work!
Carman Finley
I was having some problems with my leg, and had to spend some time in the Cath Lab. I got there and the nurses who helped me get dressed, and IV in place were so kind, and thoughtful. I was very nervous, and as they wheeled me into the procedure room, the nurses there and doctor were just as kind. They kept me aware of what was going on, always asking if I was comfortable, and got the procedure done quickly and as painless as possible. I'm so grateful for such compassionate, and highly skilled people!!
George & Bernice Yurish
From pre op testing to pre operating room absolutely caring and professional. In the operating room a once in a lifetime very good experience. Dr Gould is excellent and very professional and knows her job very well.
I have been operated with very serious operations and valley hospital was amazing
From the ER nurses to the anastiogist very comforting and intelligent and professional
especially Kristen RN in recovery she was amazing she took care of me and made me relaxed and took excellent care of me.
I will recommend valley to everyone.
Lisa Kerr
I was VERY grateful to find this urgent care location to help me in Las Vegas while I was on vacation. I was in a back-pain (sciatica) crisis that required treatment and medication to enable me to walk, let-alone sleep/laydown! Without their help, really, I don't know what I would have done. The staff was so helpful, kind and thorough, such professionals. Many thanks.
frankie lee
Been here several times late at night but I've always had a positive experience. Unlike UMC, check-in and discharge is fairly quick and the staff has obviously been trained to be friendly and compassionate. You wouldn't expect some helpful laughs in an ER but it makes it so much easier. And they don't sugarcoat it, you WILL get honest, detailed answers.
Janice Johnston
With only being in Las Vegas from Massachusetts for a total of 2 hours, I went to Empire Medical Center with abdominal pain. There I was diagnosed with acute appendicitis and transferred to Valley Hospital Medical Center. The care I received at both places was top notch! Everyone was friendly, caring and helpful. I can't thank them enough for their superb care.
Daryl Shriner
I have so many good things to say about Valley Hospital there isn't enough space to say them all here. From the ER staff to the CCU ( and an amazing physician!!! (Dr. Jimmy Wattoo) to everyone I encountered, X-Ray, Nuclear Medicine, PT, OT, Dietary, I'm sure I'm missing a lot!!! But you guys just amazing!!! I'm glad when the ambulance brought me to your door, that they brought me here!!! Thank you, everyone for saving my life!!!
Kandi J
This was my first time visiting Valley hospital Medical on Shadow Lane, but I was very pleased with the service I received. Dr. Davidson was awesome and done everything he could to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Sophie one of the ER Nurses there went above and beyond she was a super human. John also a Nurse in the ER was great thank you guys for still having compassion for people/patients your service is appreciated and it's not going unnoticed. :)

The hospital offered great service and went over the procedure many times to make that I understood every step of the way.
Thank you, Valley hospital

My husband had lower back lamenectomy
5-11-2022, He couldn't walk for 8 months. Dr. Douds and his great team did the surgery. He had the best care from everyone he was in contact with. Doctors, Nurses, CNA's, PT. He was released 5-13-2022, being able to walk with a walker. It's been an experience, God Bless you all-thank you for the great care
given.😊

I came to valley hospital for my knee surgery. Dr Nathan Richards was absolutly awesome! He replaced my PCL and had my miniscus reconstructed. The surgery went very smooth. All the other nurses that assisted were also great. I took the shot down which numbs your leg. It took less then a week to regain feeling in the foot but it was worth it becuase there was no pain during that time, and only a little pain after that. I have been in physical therapy for about 2 months. I'm now walking again and working to recover the rest of my range on motion currently at about atleast 100deg. The hospital was very clean and wait times were minimal.

Am very pleased with the care I received at
Valley Hospital Medical Center for the removal of a ganglion cyst on my right hand. Everyone was good at their job and had a great attitude. If I needed surgery again I would most definitely go there. Dr. Carl Williams is a very caring person and makes you feel very comfortable.
Jordan Aguirre
AMR was great to me, even though I only had a panic attack, it really felt like my body was shutting down. They helped me through step by step and recommended I still get checked out at the hospital.
I would give it 5 stars but I was being treated like a person off the street / mental patient even though I was in there for chest pain and head pain. The nurses sort of had a "leave me alone" attitude because of the chaos that was going on in the ER. I can understand, but at the same time, they should have had a little better bedside manner. ( I was texting my wife at one point to come and get me and the nurse said "ARE YOU FILMING?" - really insincere)
Other than that, the Doctor was very nice to me and gave me a CAT scan to make sure there was no internal damages. I was discharged shortly after. I woud still recommend to goto Valley for their great Doctor care, but avoid it when it's got a long wait.
Kelly Castelblanco
I received the best of care as always. The P.A Rebecca was very thorough with me, which I absolutely appreciated.
Valley is my hospital, I always go there because they have all my records, and I'm treaded very well. The staff is the best.
Rocky too, he does the Ultrasound IV he's the best and always so pleasant.
Sandra Amacker
Love this hospital..they really care about your health issues...had to take my son here yesterday, very good ...we got in n out in 2 hrs. from E.R..thank you valley hospital..you rock!
linda martin
I can't say enough how truly professional and thorough my experience was.All the medical staff I came in contact with, the organization of all the departments and the excellent care I received
Anya Salazar
It was a little disorganized but the doctor and nurses were top notch. That to me is great because I have many health issues.
William Ayala
Waiting is bit much, but Ike the Male nurse was very pleasant. I'm understand my copays with my insurance is high but they didn't even put me iv. And still send me home with the same pain I had arrived 5 hours earlier. But I also understand the waiting time. They need to run test on everybody. To make sure proper treatment.

I have been to many hospitals around the Las Vegas, valley over the last 35 years and the staff at valley are the best I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I was monitored and had the standard bed checks that were kind and prompt. There was very little I had to aske for, the nurses were up to speed on what I should need and did an exceptional job of anticipating my needs. Being treated with absolute respect was a new experience at a hospital for me. Kindness, compassion, and respect. This was the first stay at a hospital that I was in no hurry to go home, and I think that is a testament to exceptional care.
Miguel Tejeda
I recently had surgery at Valley Hospital. I was in terrible pain. The minute I stepped into the hospital I received first class service. The nurses that helped me on the second floor were incredible—Marc, Katya, and Isabel. Thank you for the great service. It changed my life for the better.
Elica Arreola
All the faculty at Valley Hospital had the highest quality of care. The nurses and doctor took care of me and made me feel at ease in their care even after being very frightened about having surgery. Overall I highly recommend this hospital.
bluelace77
I just had a full hysterectomy by Dr. Fleury. My experience was very good. It went very smoothly. Everyone was friendly.
Johnnice Perry
I really like this hospital they were
nice and made sure that I was taken care of properly. I would go back and recommend this place to other people. The staff was pleasant and made sure my visit was amazing.
Gabriel Cornejo
First-time surgery, so I don't have contrast. The experience with the staff was great. I was there for 8 hours, but the timing was not anyone's fault, just the result.
The staff was friendly, the location was top-notch, and given the circumstances, I had a great experience.
Beverley Aronovsky
I had a procedure October 1st. Checking in was confusing as they could not find my pre-registration paper work. Once that was sorted out I was led to the Operating waiting area.
All nursing staff were great; efficient, professional and caring.
My only complaint was the lack of written after care instructions. i was given some general "boiler plate" info that I could have found myself on Google. The doctor briefly and verbally told me what was done, but I was at that point still somewhat drugged.
I think it would have been helpful to have been given more detailed written after care instructions.
Toby Palma
From the first welcome greeting to the end of my procedure visit everyone deserves 5 stars! Friendly, professional ,and kind from the temperature checks to admitting and throughout my procedure! I truly appreciated how clean the waiting room was & the procedure room. I am grateful Susan was my nurse for my scan as she was very kind & took the time to explain everything to me with true caring & empathy. Thankyou Valley nurses & admitting for being there you all are my heroes!
Donna Frieri
From the moment I walked in the door, I had nothing but a pleasant experience. Admissions,, Radiology, pre-op, surgery and discharge, every employee, nurse, technician and physician was professional and courteous. I have been to just about every hospital in Las Vegas and this one has been the friendliest, well organized and best run so far. I even got a card from the surgical staff thanking me for allowing them to serve me! A touch of class.
shalonda purtty
The day time staff are very rude especially the triage nurse that sits in the back window of the emergency room the way he conducts his verbal tone and words come off to anyone disrespectful so sad when people are trying to get care for whatever reason rudeness and disrespect are not how to handle things wrong profession
C M
Hospital emergency room front desk technician and attending nurses were great and very attentive. On call ER doctors were caring and friendly. Long wait for radiology. Specialty doctors rude and arrogant.
Sigrid Gyger
I have never ever walked thru so many unnecessary corridors in my life. I really wished that some of your staff was more familiar with the patients and where they need to go for a procedure or just information.
Cheryl Snider
I had a great experience st Valley Hospital! Especially during covid restrictions. All the pretesting was done quickly several days before surgery! On the day of my surgery, I was so nervous but within minutes the nurse calmed me down and put a soft, gown on that you could heat control and warm blankets. I went into surgery for a full hysterectomy and removal of lymph nodes. The surgery table was soft with a soft indention to put your head. My doctor was wonderful and I went to sleep and woke up later with warm blankets and very attentive, friendly nurse. Got to go home that evening. I really appreciated the caring staff and my wonderful doctor.
George R Kish
My experience as a surgical patient at Valley Hospital Medical Center was very positive. My surgeon and my anesthesiologist had a calming influence on me because I was very anxious about the surgery. Their pre-surgical bedside manners helped to put me at ease prior to any medication.
I felt safe in their hands.
Debra Hankins
Had hand surgery there on 2/3/23 the staff was so nice and helpful. Thanks
Tanya Redfield Kelley
Due to the professionalism and personal concern shown by Glenn, Housekeeping, over issues he handled, along with staff he chose to help handle them.
I would return to the hospital.
Knowing the main person in charge of ALL cares a lot, and will fix any problems.
He will do so by going above and beyond to assure all is handled correctly.
-I do now recommend this hospital.-
5 STARS TO 95% OR MORE of the STAFF, SURGICAL TEAM...INCLUDING the SURGEON, NURSES (RNs & LVNs), I APPRECIATE ALL, BUT MOST NAMES I CANT RECALL Im sorry). I DO RECALL 2 WHO STOOD OUT GREATLY, ISREAL AND KARLA (2 LVNs also, who spent a lot of time with my care, thank you.)
A HUGE THANK YOU to GLENN, HOUSEKEEPING!
Kathryn Kerrigan
The nursing staff was absolutely wonderful and so helpful. There were some delays beyond their control for my surgery, but I was never without their cares and concerns. Dr. Kushnir explained everything beforehand and the anesthesiologist was thorough for what he was going to give me. The OR nurses were attentive as well as those in the recovery room. If I ever need any future medical care, I will definitely try to go back the Valley Hospital.
Nicole Ranghelli-Dejose
They were genuinely nice and welcoming!!! They are quick to get you in! But Girls…. So you know … HOT doctor alert!!!!!😁 …
Witney
The nurses in this hospital go above and beyond and really take care of you, the best experience I've ever had
Donald Barton
I was greeted with a warm welcome . The staff acted like they had everything in order. Very professional . Beds were comfortable . Food was very good .( Great chicken soup ) my only concern was was not getting to bathe . Only one time in 5 days. Over all I would recommend this hospital .
Doug Dexter
I have had 2 procedures done here and the nursing and doctor staff is total pro. They do everything possible to ensure a smooth process from check in to after care and check out. Jim in pre-surgery was amazing.
William Chakos
I was shown extraordinary care by virtually all the Staff Including both surgeon and anesthesiologist.
Thank you,
Bill

The stay at Valley Hospital for my husband was wonderful and troublesome sometimes. By that I mean that the nurses and staff were wonderful. the care and compassion from them was amazing. The troublesome part was i could never got a call from the doctor and if I wasn't there when he was I would have never gotten any answers. In the almost 4 weeks he was there I saw him one time and never a call was made to me until he was transferred to another facility for evaluation., and that was from his day nurse. Other than that I was the one who wanted him at Valley because of the wonderful treatment he had gotten from your staff on a previous stay a couple of years back. But I do want to thank you for should your professionalism and strength that you have in caring for your patients,,
Deborah Henderson
I recently had an outpatient procedure at Valley Hospital Medical Center. I already had all confidence in my doctor and I so want to thank all my nurses that took such good care of me from the moment I entered Valley Hospital, especially Deb who prepared me for surgery. Thank You, thank you!
Linda Goldstein
This is another positive experience in an er admittance. I cant say what causes my illness and they try to come to an answer without hesitation. I always feel like well maybe they kept me to long and I want to go home now that I feel half way normal, but my bloodwork says wait wait wait. Good kids all the way
Susie Vizcarra
The surgical staff, from beginning to end, gets the highest rating from me. They were all friendly, considerate, and professional. I feel like I was cared for, kept informed, and listened to. Thank you Surgical Staff
Peter Webb
Received excellent, friendly, professional service during a visit for an allergic reaction during a stay in Las Vegas. Had a very thorough check-up and received good treatment which remedied my problem. Not ultra-expensive given that medical costs are extremely high in USA.
Lilian Hardeman
The Nurses in ICU were fantastic especially Jingyi & Pauline who took care of me .Thank you to everyone 🥰 …
Brenda Regan
They did what they could possibly do. I didn't get any answers on how to cure my illness, but they did treat me with respect, concern and love. It would have been much better if they found the right meds to calm it down right away rather then 8-10 hours later. I was in excruciating pain. The pain was a nightmare! They really did try their best. I have to see a specialist at the Mayo clinic or in LA.
Rima Goldberg
Excellent Hospital. Employees all were lovely, kind, sympathetic and helpful. They all worked beautifully together. My surgery was on time and everyone in the pre and post op were very nice and efficient. I felt very well taken care of and my surgery went as well as it could.
Kristin Ho
Everyone was amazing. My nurse Tracy was great, warm funny and kind. The anesthesiologist was great, my doctor from the clinic DR Guda was there and he’s always wonderful. Everyone was great. I was a bit nervous and hesitant but I felt very at ease after each visit with the staff. Thanks for making me feel comfortable.
James Johnson
gotta say, i havent been to a hospital in years. I avoided them all. I was hesitate to say the least, but when i felt like i had no choice in the matter, under my own dumb judgement, i thought i'd be fine. It'll past. My family members finally convinced me to go in. I'll admit i was scared. But to my suprise and thankfulness, i was glad in doing so. The first thing i noticed was the professionalism. It was apparent that the staff there are very well trained and work as a team. I'm pretty sure they are a tight knit group of people that not only care for the patients, but for each other as well. That kind of compassion you can also feel. Anyway before i write a book here. I wanna say how much deeper of appreciation i have for nurses. I truley now know that they are angels. They were very calming and comforting as i was in one of the scariest moments in my life.. thanks to the doctors as well as i just knew to trust. So thank you valley hospital. i couldnt be more grateful. thanks
Corinne Locke
The friendliest staff I have ever encountered. From administration with Florence to the end of procedure, you all were amazing! Believe me, I have been in more hospitals than I can count, with a procedure that entailed the opening of my stomach, and having to keep me for a few days. BOY was I thrilled when I came to, and he told me I was going home. YAY!
Dr. Gould you are the BEST! Not only did you prevent me from having a colostomy bag, the small incision was brilliant.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU And thank you for holding my hand. It meant a lot to me.
Hugs to all & God Bless,
Corinne Lockmuller

From Tina in check-in and her staff to the RN who escorted me to my ride..
I found a patience caring staff of professionals . I was redirected to Valley "with no paperwork". And they 1st of all listened confirmed my issue from previous clinic and proceeded with getting me taken care of..
I was a little chatty, a tiny bit scared and de-shuffled but the staff ..all of them involved remained professional and caring...
I know if, God forbid, I have to go back I will feel safe and know I'm working with a great staff of people.
Regards

I was quite impressed with Valley Hospital. This was my first visit there for a surgical procedure. The patient’s information and security was top on the list. The staff was kind, jovial and ready to help. The cleanliness pristine. The patient’s health was their main concern and the doctors were thorough. The pre-registration system was quick. The discharge from the hospital was organized and the staff was knowledgeable and quick. I definitely would recommend VALLEY HOSPITAL to my family and friends. Thank you, Valley Hospital and staff. You have a terrific system in place!

No hospital experience is fun , but when I say this one of the most pleasant experiences I’ve had in a very long time!!!! My emergency room nurses were AMAZING!!! From Beau , to my nurse Jessica DOWNRIGHT OUTSTANDING!!!! And Rebecca also the doctor was very nice as well. I felt welcomed from the greeter who greeted me and did my vitals I can’t remember her name and Christy or Chrissy , I’m unsure . But they took very good care of me !! I would highly recommend this hospital if you’d like to be in good hands . THANK YOU , THANK YOU!!!!!
Ron Mitzel
Everyone was very professional. Doctors knew what they were doing. The only problem I had with it was freezing cold. That air conditioner must have been set at 37 or 38 degrees it was freezing all night I could not wait to get out of there.

This hospital saves my life twice. This past weekend I came in feeling terrible, weak, lightheaded and my heart felt like it was racing. Now I have been diagnosed with anxiety and usually I go into a hospital and I'm told within in minutes, usually as soon as they look me up that its probably an anxiety attack. They hook my up to saline take blood an send me home. However I walked in here and first off I went on a Friday afternoon and there was no one in the waiting room. I walked right in and got seen. During triage they did an ekg, protocol for my symptoms but instead of passing me off they listen to me and believed me when I said I knew the difference between anxiety and what I was feeling. Thank God they did. They brought me right back and put me back on a heart monitor while they waited for my blood work which showed my potassium was so low I would have had a heart attack if I had waited any longer to go in and be seen. They kept me for five days and addressed my other health issues as well. After having a peg tube placed and stabilizing me I am now home and feeling so much better. I live in Henderson and have plenty of hospitals I could go to that are much closer but I make the trip to Valley Hospital each time I know I need to go to a hospital because I know I will be well taken care of and I trust them with my life.
Connie Nordenflycht
Great service I was involved in a car accident and opted to go to Valley Hospital that evening, I got great fast service. Frank/Greg in the check in area was really friendly and helpful. My doctor was very caring and I felt listened to and very much well taken care of his name is Dr. Timothy Vanduzer E MD. I had a CAT scan and X-rays if my hips, back, neck and shoulders. I was given medication for my ailments. I was there no more than 2 hours. I would highly recommend Valley Hospital over UMC or Sunrise.
Trish Melendez

My first operation in 60 plus years on this planet, I felt calm, I was quickly moved from station to station per procedures. Because I had sooooo many hoops to jump thru (prior tests) to "clear my health" for the sake of anesthesia's high requirements. I still didn't know if I was to get this operation.
Once all the gowns & scrubs surrounded me.... I was under & woke up to say "when are we gonna do this???" Rt. hip replacement, I wasn't sure how to handle the aftermath of PT. They had me walk a bit & said I would heal quickly! (lol, how easy was that?)
I was put in a room & stayed overnight on my & doctors recommendation.
The dinner so was good, I asked for another and was promptly accommodated! First dinner was pork steak with squash & broc. was deeelish!!! Second dinner was chicken &- same veggies, was still delish!
Tho I was awoken numerous times thru the night for testing, it really wasn't bad! I'm a healthy guy (66) with a bit of an attitude for unecesssary bull shirt, they were all verrrry nice, helpful, explained things when I asked.
These folks are really attentive, I highly recommend Valley Hospital & Dr. Nishiyama. Thanks to all & Merriest Christmas & holidays.
PS; I had NOOOOO fear in these hands of grace & healing tools given to me upon exit. Highly recommended.....

This review is LONG over due. So, my apologies for the delay. It was Friday 3/26/21. My time spent at Valley Hospital was awesome! I had a great experience and felt welcomed and cared for out the gate...the front desk associate, Tracey was amazing. You really made me feel like I was at home and not in the ER. I appreciate you from the bottom of my heart. And, you’re right! You got me in the clumsiness department . That puddle story “ classic”. I’ll never look at a yellow top and white pants again without thinking of you “ you rock sister “! And nurse Kate. It was a pleasure speaking to you and I know you were really listening and congrats again on your pregnancy. Selina and Ashley you guys were great as well. Thanks for awesome care! And I am so so so so so very grateful and appreciative for Juava actually paying attention in school and becoming an “ASTONISHINGLY AWESOME” nurse. Your 10 + years of care is recognizable for sure all while maintaining a down to earth comforting personality. I wish to never be in the ER ever again. However, if I do. I pray to have a “CRAZY” amazing nurse like you 💕. Last but not least, thank you so very much to Dr. Barnum for caring and keep it real. All you guys are “awesome”. I don’t have to tell you to keep up the exceptionally great work because, that’s who you all are. God bless🙏🏽

I had a robotic assisted laparoscopic total hysterectomy on Sept. 22. As a retired OR nurse, I was so pleased with my care. The nurses even showed me the robotic equipment before I was anesthetized! Amazing procedure and top notch staff!
Linda Duran
When I went to ER for severe pain. Theg took great care of me. I had an infected gallbladder. My surgeon was the best. He was very skilled and compassionate about my needs. He took great care of me. The care nurse was amazing in that I was well taken care of. But their is always 1 bad employee. But it won't take away anything I experienced at that hospital.
KEN L SWAN
The emergency room personnel took care of me ASAP admitting Personnel were great also I had a great doctors great nurses took time to listen to me and explain everything that was going on my care and so far the Aftercare at my home has been excellent Valley Hospital has taken care of my family for quite a few years THANKS

I had to undergo a pretty nerve wracking procedure that I’ve been dreading since I’ve made the appointment
The staff there was extremely patient & sweet with me. Explained everything I needed to do prior to the op.
The nurses & techs who did the procedure were extremely accommodating & nice! I wasn’t expecting to genuinely like the people working on me. It was such a relief to have a really nice group of people do this procedure. It’s just easier to trust people who make you feel comfortable.
I wish I remembered everyones names.
Prasad was my main dr who is always fantastic.
I remember a nurse, Lucy who was literally so sweet. I really liked her. & there were 3 other guys who I wish I could remember.
Everyone there made it a priority to make sure I was comfortable before going under. The whole thing was as easy as it could get.
I never thought I’d write a review for a hospital, but everyone there who helped me deserves a huge shout out!
Maribel Camacho
The doctors were good and some of the nurses. Most of the nurses and nurses assistants were lazy. I unfortunately was there 5 days. The first night my nurse and assistant were phenomenal and I gave her the golden ticket. She deserved it. She was very professional and attentive as was the CNA. However when her shift ended I almost never saw the other person. I had to call in order to get help. I had extreme pain 1 night and instead of helping me they all ran out of the room. They did not contact my doctor and I didn't get any help until the good nurse was back on shift. I was worried about being at this hospital since it was my first time. I wish I had waited for an opening at my original hospital of choice. My mom said she came by and they were all standing around chit chatting. It was disappointing.
Judith Morris
This place was clean, neat and ran effectively. The employees are friendly and kind. If I ever have to have another procedure, this is my surgeon and my hospital.
I had Dr. Nishiyama and he's the very best! I'm dat 4 post op and I haven't had any pain yet!
Shuck Belvin
I thought it was a good experience. The ER staff is very professional. I was admitted for 2 days and I would like to say that my nurses were very professional. Would you let Millie my nurse know that I really appreciate her professionalism
aurora arabia
Everyone, the doctors ( Dr. Samantha Nguyen) and nurses, technicians were very professionals and caring.
However, there was one CNA, (who was on duty, Tuesday night when i was sent to my room) who had very poor bedside manner. When i came back from my stress test. Grace the nuclear medicine technician gave me and the the nurse, instructions that i should take some caffeine, (either coffee or tea) to counteract the effects of the medication i was given during the stress test.
Instead of giving me the caffeine, she told me she didn't have those instructions from the RN. So I asked her to talk to the RN in charge. She took off and never came back for 50 minutes. I pressed the nurses button every 15 minutes, but nobody came.
Good thing, Grace sent someone to pick me up for another round of pictures of my heart. I told him I am still so nauseous and haven't had any caffeine. In less than 2 minutes, the nurse came and she told me that Grace had called her because she was on lunch break.. She immediately tended to my needs.
My point is, the CNA should have informed me that the RN in charge of my room was out to lunch and should have used common sense and decency to recognize the patient's needs. I don't know if she knows that effects of the medication given to me during my heart's stress test. She had a very unfriendly manner about her. She asked me "Are you okay?" to which I replied, "No, and please give me some tea to drink, please?" She walked out and said I don't have any orders from the RN about that, and never came back.
I was at Valley View Hospital before and my experience was all very positive and good. I really like this hospital!
david Owen
I arrived at hospital in pain from a hand injury. Nurses were very nice and caring. The Dr came fairly quickly. Xrays ordered. They came to bedside to do xrays (neat) all this and reading xrays done in a little over an hour. The person doing billing came straight after Dr explained what I had done and what I needed done. Was told I needed a splint to allow swelling to go down then in a couple days see otho surgeon 1 hour 30 mins excellent I was very impressed.
I now waited for almost 3 hours for a 15 min Job to splint my wrist when I asked what problem was I was told there was no one qualified in .ER to do it The nurse had to make phone calls to see who was qualified. They had to leave job they were doing to do me.
Nurses very apologetic but not there fault.
You would have thought that there was someone qualified IN ER especially with Similar types of injuries that go throug ER.
Alysia Valentine
Valley is one of the older hospitals but amazing. I had my twins at Valley in 2007. I was impressed then with the level of service and care. A few days ago I had to visit the ER and was still impressed. Their level of care has only improved. I highly recommend Valley Hospital to everyone. They will not disappoint.
Kelly Ray
Generally any post surgery time would be a bit rough however, the nurses, cna's, housekeeping, Dr, kitchen staff could not be nicer, kinder or have more patience. Their communication & professionalism is outstanding. Ifelt valued, important & well taken care of . Valley Hospital should be very proud of their employees. This was the the best experience I've ever encountered during a hospital stay.
Violet M.
Yes this hospital was very clean & easily accessible. This is mainly due to that it's smaller in size. I'd say parking is convenient also. It was just difficult during covid-19 phase 1 Reopen still. Hours were morning til 6pm for visitors which was too short & not enough time to stay with loved ones & only 1 personat a time. The downstairs area was complicated & pretty much no where to eat besides vending machines for visitors. Cafetería only opens to staff, yet easily accessible & very open area. We were there 06/04- 06/05/2020 her Dr. was thorough & had good bedside manner(Dr Wasserman)We had a a.m. nurse named Barbara, in the surgery area that I feel was having a bad day or just really unfriendly towards us & others waiting on Family members. The anesthesia M.D was quick & kind (Andres R.). I'm just glad my Mothers surgery for hysterectomy is over & went well & that we are of that hospital! It was clean though, all in all. Just didn't feel cozy nor friendly there. only vending food or gift shop which closed at 5 pm for something to eat/drink if visitor.

Check in for surgery which is located at the ER needs better signage that details steps. The limited staff did not provide guidance. After a few of us figured out to use the kiosk and were then provided buzzers a gentleman got up upset as the only staff present had told to him to sit and wait for her but he ended up being the 4th person after me to be checked in. He was obviously upset. When I got to the actual surgery area the nurse who took me back asked how the check in went as she had been calling down there looking for patients but did not get an answer. I informed her of my experience and let her know there were at least 5 people after me waiting. My surgery nurse Tracie was so nice and friendly. She made me feel so comfortable and I felt as if she was truly a genuine person. Definitely made my few hours of waiting go by quicker. Then nurse that assisted her (can't recall her name...possibly Katie) was also very friendly. They both helped to keep me calm during the nerve block in my neck. The nurses in post op very also very friendly. Patient next to me was giving the nurses a hard time demanding to see the doctor. Not even his wife could get him to stop. His behavior was aggravating me to the point I told him to shut up. I wish the nurses would have asked him to lower himself or be aware of the others coming out of anesthesia that are also having difficulties. Other than that they handled him well. Overall I had a good experience.

First off All hospitals are seriously understaffed, during this pandemic Everyone is doing the best they can. Have patience, be respectful, and understand, this is a new world that we were not prepared for at all. Give the staff, nurses, and doctors a break. While there I heard how several nurses were moved from their stations to work in other areas of the hospital due to understaffing. So please don't forget to thank the staff who are doing all they can to keep you healthy. Donate PPE, Plasma, or time. Get tested for Covid-19, and adhere to social distancing guidelines. I would like to thank all the staff for their kindness, prompt service, and understanding my needle phobia. As well as aiding me in understanding Emergency Medicaid. I wouldn't have known about that had someone not explained it to me. I now have coverage and hope to receive my Covid test results by tomorrow. Thank you for saving my life.

Hello, my experience with Valley Hospital was great. I went there not feeling very well and the Doctor came in right away and listened to me without stopping me at any time, once I finished explaining he examined me and ordered some test and before you know it he enters the room explaining what I had gave me some prescriptions and tells me I can go home. Here’s where it’s gets even better, I didn’t have a ride the nurses in the ER went over and beyond to find to get me home. Will I recommend Valley Hospital to anyone of course I will. Thank you Valley Hospital for taking good care of me plus some.

Staff were wonderful. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that I have a very sore throat after my surgery. I have never experienced anything like this with any previous surgeries I have had, but two days later my throat is still sore (obviously from tube in throat during surgery, but was it removed badly to cause this problem?).

From my surgical team to all the employees , staff was wonderful. another plus had my own room, thank you very much Valley Hospital Medical Center!!!

ER was quick and very attentive. Once admitted most everybody was great. They worked very hard to try to make it as tolerable as possible. Doctors were short on availability and you could tell the nurses and staff couldn't really call the doctor's. They had to wait for the doctor's to show up or give some type of feedback which made it a bit tough as a patient because of what I was in for. Once I was stable enough to leave they were quick with the release process which was great. Again, I'd say most of the staff went above and beyond for me. Mostly very nice people. It could have been a lot worse as hospital stays go!

The medical staff was excellent. The food so - so
My stay was six days & they promptly answer all call button requests. As a senior the entire staff was most helpful. The only con was the construction that started with saws & drills at 7:30 am the last 3 days of my stay. I would repeat my stay on a non construction floor.

The staff was nice but this hospital does NOT help with, or do detox. They don't have a lot of empathy or compassion for those battling substance abuse which is hell. I was suffering from severe alcohol withdrawal (which can be fatal) and I even arrived in a ambulance suffering from sezuire activity. I also hadn't eaten in 6 days and could barley even keep down water. They kept me for less than 5 hours and discharged me. Didn't even give me a IV drip to help rehydrate me. My potassium levels were too low and my blood pressure was too high. I was told to go to a detox center. I went to two facilities and was sent back to this Hospital twice. My symptoms were so severe I needed to be hospitalized. They refused to admit me. Luckily Spring Valley admitted me and I had to have two emergency blood transfusions to help save my life. This hospital almost let me die. Again, nice staff but seriously...?

I had the best experience at Valley Hospital ! The staff was great from the check - in to check-out . My nurses we very attentive and fast to do everything I needed. The scans and test I needed came back Quickly. If I could remember all the names of people I came in contact with I would name drop in a minute. Valley Hospital you have a great staff ! Frontline workers and all the backline working staff there keep up the the great work ! It’s hard to find people that actually enjoy there job and show it . Keep up the good work and God bless all of you.

My experience at Valley Hospital was excellent. I was amazed at how all the employees I countered were friendly, courteous and went out of their way to be helpful. The most memorable for me was Stacey, the RN in PostOp. She was attentive and kind, and made me feel so at ease. She is a true asset to your team. I would recommend Valley Hospital to any of my friends. Thank you

I became ill while working a graveyard shift and I requested to be transported to Valley Hospital. The ER staff was exceptional, very nice. My problem started when I was admitted to the 3rd floor at approximately 0630 hours.
After being up all night In pain, doing tests. I was put in a room with an elderly man who had staff visits literally every 15-20 minutes. They talked so loud, thankfully my girlfriend brought my earphones on her way to work. That worked until a male staffer banged his medical equipment cart into the foot of my bed. Then he force the cart between the bed scrapping the foot of the bed. All while right at me, unreal, had I not experienced it myself I’m not I could imagine such disregard.
Was everyone nice Yes, sure nobody had a bad attitude, sure Nurse bedside manner was great. But a little sleep was what I so needed, even just a nap.
I just had 2 nagging question, why was I put in this particular room, knowing how many visits he’s scheduled to have ? What did I do to deserve this level of disregard ?

The surgery paperwork and preop testing was quick and easy. The front desk lady was very nice. All the people associated with that part were extremely pleasant to work with.
The surgical check in was quick and easy. The surgery prep staff was thorough, and patient. Only hospital staff to ever get my IV in with the first try. Very impressed with that, and appreciative. I was scared out of my mind because of past bad surgical experiences, so I was a bit grumpy. One blond lady really put me in my place though. Was so mad at her, that I forgot about the surgery. Maybe that was her plan, but I do not want to find her to ask.
The operating theater was extremely clean and cold.
During my stay, 80% of the staff were amazing. There always has to be that one nasty nurse though, and Valley has theirs. Maybe they will figure out who it is and send her packing.
Many people say bad things about Valley, but when it comes to all things surgical, they are on par with the big hospitals. This was my 18th surgery, so I'm pretty familier with what makes a good or bad facility.

It's been 6 years between hospital visits for me, in which time my last name changed. I was asked and it was explained, "yes" my name changed and id was provided. Still registered me under my maiden name, The ultrasound order under however may have been under my current name, and here lies a problem. Laying in the ER for more than 14 hours without anything to eat or drink, and not having eaten since 5AM, caused more serious medical complications than what I presented with. The nursing staff deserves 10 stars!! They immediately recognized the situation and worked diligently to stabalize me. At the same time they were working to get answers from the non-responding imaging department. Total 22 hours in the ER, 20 hours awaiting an ultrasound. I left AMA because clearly there had to be far more important cases than mine requiring the use of ultrasound. Risking my health to any further wait seemed ridiculous to me. Much easier to sit home in pain and wait for an appointment than stay there with no answers or direction at all. I'm COVID Free and I wanna stay that way.

Went in for an outpatient surgery and everyone was amazing from beginning to end.... my intake nurse Debbie who prepped me for my surgery was knowledgeable and pleasant she really loves her job. My anesthesiologist Whom i called Dr. Handsome but his name was actually Dr. Hanson he really was fine and allowed me to tell my jokes. My recovery nurse Kin who was very kind and patient with me and offered Good conversation once i woke up, his meekness really gave me comfort. And finally my disorderly Antwon who wheeled me out to my car and safely farewelled me was so pleasant and didn’t let me do a thing! The entire staff was wonderful i can’t remember the ladies name who checked me in but she was a sweetheart too so thank you Valley hospital for making a surgery that i was anxious and nervous about a breeze ! Best surgery center in the valley

The staff were all very professional, friendly, upbeat and accommodating. An employee saw us wondering the hallway and asked to help us -- he actually walked us to the department for which we were looking.
My only concern was that the staff did not seem as obsessed with antiseptic protocols as I had experienced in other hospitals. For instance when I registered for out patient surgery, there was no conversation or products given for me to wash the area with the night before and morning prior to procedure. When a patient checked out of the recovery area by me, the nurse just put another sheet on the bed -- there was no wiping of sterilizing solution of the bed or the room prior to another occupant arriving.

I honestly didn’t need a hospital but all the urgent care centers were closed. They were polite and fast. I was seen within an hour. They were moderately busy too. I was appreciative of knowing my ear drum wasn’t damaged but there was no way, even with the app they recommended, that I could afford either treatment or medication. That speaks more to the American healthcare system than this one hospital. On a side note: 5-10 days to be removed from a dumb mailing list is gross. I’m not giving out my email for your spam. I do it in case we need to find records or you have something urgent to share. You undermine yourself.

Yvonne A. at the front desk is a true angel. The way she greets everyone, directs the flow, her smile, energy and kindness EXUDES. THANK YOU YVONNE A. I hope they love and appreciate you because YOU ARE PHENOMENAL. People need more of this in customer service and especially in the hospital. Don't get me wrong, everyone was amazing that I encountered here but Yvonne A. set the tone to both visits being she was the first person that greeted me and treated me with care.

I went to valley hospital emergency in great pain . The staff there was great I didn't have to wait long for help thank you doctors and nurses and support staff I will go there before I go to UMC for sure
Jodie Hurewitz
I had my pre-op appointment this morning.
Florence K in admitting is great! Very friendly and helpful.
Update* I had my surgery a few days after pre-op. I was sent home the same day in extreme pain. The next morning we had to call 911 and I was returned to the hospital in excruciating pain and trouble breathing. Turns out I got sepsis. The women in the ER who does insurance verification is incredibly rude and unprofessional. She demanded my $250 copay while I was in the middle of being treated....in the rapid response part of the ER as my case was very severe. I will be contacting the hospital for a refund as I don't feel I should have to pay an ER copay when it's the hospitals fault I was there in the first place.

Thank you to the hardworking staff at Valley. My dad was admitted to the emergency room and after 24 hours he was assigned room 358. The nurses were all very responsive to my calls to check on him and my dad felt very safe and cared for during his 48 hour stay.
Nicole Parker
The Cardiology team that helped me from stat to finish of my IR IVC FILTER placement was amazing, very warm, patient, helping and very attentive during my recovery.
The radiologist that preformed my procedure was very knowledgeable, had outstanding bed side manners and explained everything that was about to happen before he started!
Thank you VALLEY HOSPITAL for having such an amazing staff!!
JesMe
This Hospital went over and beyond with my concerns making sure I was relax the nurses here are very friendly and spectacular with every thing that's going on in the world today you wouldn't know it here. everyone had smiles on there faces and where very helpful. In my opinion they are "ANGELS" on earth so to my earthly angels thank you isn't enough.
But I appreciated EVERYTHING you do so my angels.
Stay Healthy and Safe..

I had an excellent experience from checking in to leaving. The staff, my nurses that worked with me were so professional and very helpful. I would highly recommend and return to Valley Hospital.

I am A current patient and when I say the patient service is spectacular every last one of my RNs and Cna’s are very punctual and good at what they do! You all have a good teamwork ethic and I’d recommend this hospital to EVERYONE
Lisa Jensen
Surgery went rather well. All the employees were helpful and kind.
The light was answered fairly quickly. I really liked the staff that was covering my room.(444)
The only downside was the bed was uncomfortable. They could use some newer pillows and
a brighter colored gowns.
Mae Tobias
Admitted at ER on Feb 18 (midnight) to Feb 22 (7ishp), @ ER (12 hrs waited/seen by Doctor & Nurses) they were kind/thoughtful even when busy. Transfered to Observatory Dept were tests were ran & results received 👍... (Observatory Dept.) the Nurses & CNAs were absolutely understanding/patient & ALWAYS had a smile/occasionally laughing ... Don't remember all their names, Corry Heather Liezel Laura & I can't remember them all ... are ABSOLUTELY wonderful ... THANK YOU FOR CARING FOR ME & ALL THE OTHER PATIENTS!!! Need more people like you bcz we as PATIENTS are already miserable & ABSOLUTELY a pain in the neck when sick. THANK YOU for caring for us all !!!! 👏👏👏
Antonio Davila-Walters
Doctors and staff are great, the waiting is the killer and sitting on those hard chairs are extra pain on top of the pain i'm already suffering.
Carolyn Hawthorne
The staff are always my favorite part of going to Valley. My nurses Lisa, Magdalena and the rest are always funny, charming and kind.
I don't like the parking situation at the hospital. It might be worth the trouble to build a parking garage.
The hospital is clean, however. I felt safe knowing COVID procedures are being followed with no nonsense allowed.
John Tracy
As always the staff of your facility are above excellent. The nurse's are some of the most pleasant, caring people I have ever seen. The technical people are very professional , knowledgeable and pleasant to their patients.
The reason I departed early was because of the individual I was sharing a room with. As a retired 25 year LVMPD Sargent and a Retired 20 year AF NCO , I have been around unpleasant individuals but the young man {A.K.} that was in my room was one of the worst. The language he used on all staff was totally uncalled for. They went out of their way to assist him and all he did was verbally abuse them. I had to leave before I would have said something that would have caused a larger problem. I understand another room was unavailable and appreciate staff for looking. My medical condition was such that I no longer needed to remain in the Hospital itself. So I checked out to prevent an issue.
Joe Bertucci
My girlfriend came to this hospital for 5 days. Dr. Wattoo is enlightened, astute, and extremely personable. Even if he told me everything he ever learned I would still want him to stay in the room. He is a great person AND an upper level internist.
Jen Pyeatt
Valley has set way too high of a standard in my expectations of hospital care. The nurses and CNA’s all projected a positive attitude and seemed genuinely happy to be there. My call button would be answered within a minute. Dr Miles, my surgeon, or her partner would check on me every day. No one wants to stay at a hospital, but these people do their best to make it as pleasant as possible.
R Nazz
I was well taken care of, everyone was so nice to me from the minute I checked in until I was released. It's a great hospital, if I need anything else I most definitely will return.
i Rod
Amazing friendly staff from pre-op all the way to surgery. All the nurses and doctors, everyone made me feel welcomed, safe and at ease. My nurse Tracie was amazing what a sweetheart. Highly recommend!

Always an extremely wonderful experience any procedure done at Valley Hospital at Shadow Lane. From the receptionist to the person that takes you in a wheelchair to the car are all smiling, caring, funny, good hearted!
Kecia Stephens
The nursing staff was very pleasant to work with and they made you feel comfortable. They worked very hard including the students and doctors, which I was amazingly surprised considering the climate of today’s society.
Jamie Jones
Everyone in the surgery unit was very accommodating. The check in process was easy. The nurses and anesthesiologist explained exactly what would happen, and the post surgery recovery nurse was very helpful.
Eduardo Garcia
Prompt and accurate service in the Admission Desk. Very dedicated medical personnel. The times of admission and surgery procedures went as schedule. Very satisfied with Valley Hospital of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Andy Martin
My first time in a hospital,I was having pancreas problems and went to the er. I could not have been in better hands from the time I entered, through the diagnostic process, and through the treatment at which time my gall bladder was removed. I had never had any surgery in my 63 years so I was concerned, but they held my hand all the way. My sincere thanks to all involved at this great hospital.
Glendya Carson
My visit to Valley Hospital was a very good experience. I had no wait time at the Emergency admittance. Got right in and treatment started right away. The whole time I was there everyone was quick to respond to my needs. Everyone there was very kind, friendly and helpful. Valley was the best hospital I have ever been to. I have been there
three times this year and it's always the same!
Dave Willams
The staff and Doctors were excellent!! They were aware of your condition at all times. No one likes to visit a hospital let alone be the patient, but I was lucky to have had my back surgery at Valley. Under today's COVID-19 conditions, they made you feel safe. Thanks again to everyone at Valley!!
Carole Powers
The hospital was excellent. The nurses, staff doctors all great. My only fault found were the staff that should have cleaned, swept or washed the floors. No one did...the whole time there, this was never done.
Dropped food on floor and floor never washed floor cleaning the stain. Bad marks go that part of staff. Should be looked in to. Great hospital in spite of above. Thanks , c Powers

When I arrived early for my surgery I had to check in and Ms. Flo was sure a nice spirit woman. Going around to the surgery room the nurses was nice who checked me in. My nurse Ms.Tracey was so nice, her and her colleagues talked to me until it was time for my surgery. I must say, you don't have too many Friendly people out her that gives Encouraging words and mean them. My surgery team I believe did gd because I saw them for about 2 minutes then I was knocked out.
Thank You Dr. Cavalla and Valley Hospital Team
OH HOLLYWOOD?!
Only thing this place needs is keeping patients rooms more neat and clean.and change patients socks

I came in with a swollen and painful calf and you guys took the time to actually find out what was wrong. I'm crying writing this because after being turned away from two other negligent hospitals, you all saved my leg. I can't express my gratitude to the entire staff who showed the upmost compassion and care from the ER staff, to the other floor I was on, the surgical team, including Jim, and the rehab nurses on the 4th floor, especially Keisha and Tasha. I actually miss you guys. Thank you so very much for going above and beyond in making sure I had the highest level of care and treatment I could've possibly received.
Kenny Price
My recent experience at Valley Hospital was exceptional. From the pre op visit, and throughout the entire surgical procedure, I didn't come into contact with anyone who was the least bit unpleasant. They have a very professional friendly staff which helps transform a serious situation into one where I felt as ease from the minute I walked into the front door until the time I was wheeled out to my waiting ride home. I give a big thank you to each and every staff member. I highly recommend Valley Hospital Medical Center.
Mike N Gross
Went to the ER in October of 2018. My wife’s ER nurse, Bernadette, was probably the best nurse we’ve ever worked with. She was kind, helpful, professional, and the best embodiment of a nurse we’ve ever seen. The doctors actually took the time to listen to her and explain the answers to all her questions.
Hospital may not be the newest, but I can’t overstate how good, professional, and timely our trip was.
Tamesha Terrell
Just had a minor surgery with Dr.Lim..HES FREAKING AWESOME. Very attentive, you can tell he cares about your well being.. He made my minor routine surgery go wonderfully...id recommend him if you need a legit caring doctor..also his bedside manner is great! Thanks a bunch Doc!

I was in this hospital for one night. I arrived around 8. I was at the emergency area for about 2 hours. Only thing was done is an X-ray. I felt they could have done other procedures which they did next morning. They moved me in my room upstairs around between 10 and 11 PM. The nurse for my room was very irresponsible. When I buzzed him, he never showed up. One time I needed help, I had to drag the IV outside of the room and scream for help. One person came. She said she saw my nurse on the phone. During the night I was only hooked up to the IV - nothing else. X-ray was supposed to be taken, never happened until the next morning. Overall, very inefficient, disorganized, and my nurse was very irresponsible.
Valentin Cuaron
Hospital was great the elite clinic sucks I’ll never go back there again
Lauri Decker
The nursing and CNA staff were GREAT.... they let me sleep, and when they checked on me they were professional at every encounter. My only concern was not for me but the wait my family had to go through as it took several hours to get a room assigned. I was only awake for 1 meal Breakfast so I cannot review the kitchen. The surgical staff were great as well... Dr Kushnir and Dr Rice both checked on me before and after my surgery as well as the day of my release. The hospital was clean the one complaint I would have on that issue is actually being fixed at this time is the ER next to admitting....
Michael King
Excellent staff, they had me checked in and solved my problem in a short amount of time. Very sanitary and did not have a single problem. I'm definitely returning here if I ever need to go to emergency room again.

My experience with Valley Hospital was an Excellent One. My blood pressure was Extremely high and they took me right in, I had a Stroke. Valley took real Good Care of me.
The nurses were very nice and made me feel very comfortable. They gave me medicine to lower my pressure. Ive been to Valley a couple of times and I had an excellent experience with my care both times.
Thank You Valley!
sally owen
The nurses were fantastic!
Excellent doctors!
CNAs who were so wonderful they made me feel like family!
FANTASTIC hospital!
Just plan on having friends or family bring you food!
I NEVER, not one time, got what I ordered from their menu! I would fill out the menu they put on the tray and they would fill out a different one for me.
I even called the kitchen and told them I was recovering from diverticulitis and could not have any raw vegetables, an hour later I got a chef salad for lunch! NEVER what I ordered!
What I did get was always cold and tasted nasty!
Great place for losing weight!
But, I wasn’t there for the food.
I recovered quickly due to their excellent care, (and friends bringing me food)
Lizzy
Staff was ok .... but food terrible really awful! Not that I could get 3 meals a day! If I was at dialysis come back to cold breakfast. When I checked in at 4pm didn’t get room till 1am they offered me no food or drink , no breakfast that day. My diet was not honored as I’m diabetic & on dialysis! Told my attending doctor for 3 days he did nothing till my wife called! Most of nurses & support staff ok. I was hungry my whole stay.only average 1 to 2 meals a day the first 4 days. I had to ask for meal after they passed food to everyone I got skipped had to ask everyday for food when it came was cold uneatable!
Bob Kuhn
Every member of the staff at Valley Hospital was exceptional. We were treated with respect and treated as if my wife was there only patient. Very pleased
Willi Ellison
Things started out badly. Parking is very compromised due to construction. Then all the registration I had done 3 weeks prior was inactivated, but luckily Paul Kraft, marvelous admitting manager, helped us through that. There were some delays in surgery, but everyone caring for us was great, before and after surgery.
Sandy Boday
The staff at Valley Hospital were great! From check in to check out. They were compassionate and did a great job of putting me ar ease.
However, the same can not be said about the beds and toilets. I have a herniated disk in my back that was communicated at check in and again after I got to the surgical floor. The bed was horrible! For 3 days i never got more than 20 minutes of sleep at one time. Memory foam would have provided a great deal of relief. The toilets are certainly not ADA compliant!! Anyone with back or knee issues are going to have a problem the toilets that are so low to the ground. Are hospitals exempt from ADA regulations?
James Hidalgo [King, M. L. ES]
The staff was outstanding. They made the surgical procedure easy. They were very professional yet extremely compassionate in caring for me. Glad I went to Valley Hospital.
Michael
The service and care was about average. Hitting the button to call a nurse for help was of no use. Usually no one answered. I understand everyone is under a lot of pressure and stress these days, so they deserve a bye. I'm just telling you like it is. Nothing to write home about. The kicker, however, was when they lost my driver's license, even though I know for a fact where it was -- after I confirmed it with the ambulance paramedics who brought me there. Then they even tried to cover it up by telling me no one there ever had it -- even when they checked me in and out. Everyone makes mistakes, but don't try to cover it up.
Paul Milak
I was most impressed by pre-op and post-op nurses. Rebecca in pre-op & Kelly were attentive, did all they could to ensure I was comfortable and relaxed while awaiting surgery. Wonderful care. My OR nurse (Susan I believe) was reassuring and cheerful throughout the time I was with her, especially as we traversed the hallways to/from the CT scans. My recovery nurse (CJ, real name Christine I think) was wonderful. She ministered to me wake-up period helping me come to my senses and providing assistance with my oxygen to get me through recovery successfully.
From beginning to end I found the VH staff solicitous and helpful and will be pleased to recommend VH to anyone who asks.

My husband Patrick was at UMC quick care and then sent to Valley Hospital on 6/2/2020. Our temperatures were taken and after a few questions, we were sent to ER. Theresa got a wheelchair to assist my husband who was suffering from stomach pain. As we entered ER we were greeted by Carol and then the two of us were sent inside where My husband answered several more questions. He was told Callie would be his nurse. Long story short after several tests it was confirmed he had appendicitis and needed surgery! Due to Covid 19 I would not be able to stay with him, but Callie was ending her shift and introduced us to his new nurse Cathy. She knew I was a nervous wreck. Took my phone number and told me as soon they contacted the surgeon and scheduled his surgery she would call which she did. The about 40 minutes later his surgeon called and said it was a success! Next day Patrick was discharged! We ❤️ Valley Hospital! Thank You
Geraldine Coronado
I have been here twice and both times I was admitted for a stay! I was treated so well and docs really care and staff and nurses are on the job and I have wrote a letter to them as well!
If your sick and need help go here they will make sure your taken care of and nurse are really doing their jobs as well as doctors! X-Tay, ekgs ,respiratory therapy tecks are so great , nurses aids could help the nurses more and should check to see if patients need water if cleared with attending nurse need water, blankets, wipes, basic items even a hot wash cloth is nice to clean your face and tooth brush and tooth paste and lotion please, while the nurses do the important parts and takes are of the medicines and instead of bathroom calls, nurses poor things I felt so bad but I’ve watch they came any ways, again thank you and nurses follow up with your care as well!!
I am totally great full!!
G.Coronado!!!

I had nothing but a great experience at Valley Hospital. My pre-op was a breeze, well except that whole COVID test. The nurses were so compassionate throughout my entire pre-op testing, pre-op for surgery, the recovery room, and on the 4th floor. I was introduced to each and every one of them. Dr. Thomas Dunn and Richard Mateyka from Desert Orthopedic Center were my surgeons and I am so pleased with the outcome of my surgery. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience at Valley Hospital.
Paul Pascual
This is by far the best hospital in Las Vegas. The staff and service they provide are second to none, but probably tied with UMC. Personality I'll take Valley hospital though. I've been to a dozen hospitals in town and some are so bad I would rather go to a lifeguard at a public pool if I was dying.

Wanting to get required surgery over with as soon as possible, I accepted an available opening at Valley Hospital. There was an unexpected glitch with insurance, but to our amazement, the personnel at the hospital piled in and solved the problem even though it took hours of telephone work. And it didn't stop there! Throughout the entire event, we found the staff exceptionally helpful and friendly and exceeding our expectations. I have a very high opinion of Valley Hospital Medical Center today.
Molly Spring
I cannot say enough good things about the nurses on the 3rd floor. Particularly the nurse manager Teresa. Without her, my review would be a 1.
My dad's care required the coordination of several departments, none of whom seemed to communicate with one another. A neurologist recommended hospice care after my dad's arrival on 6/3. Another dept recommended a biopsy, keeping my dad hospitalized to at least 6/9 as the particular biopsy could only be done on Tues. We were also told an oncologist could not come to the hospital to evaluate my dad and following the 6/9 biopsy, we would have to make separate arrangements to consult an oncologist.
My father ended up in ICU following a massive stroke on 6/7. My mom, present for all care and the person who had signed off on all prior procedures, was not consulted before a neurology resident treated my dad for the stroke. The resident claimed my dad was lucid and consented. My dad had massive tumors and brain bleeds and lacked capacity to consent. Following the stroke, my dad was barely conscious and paralyzed on his left side. The deficits were substantial and combined with the extensive tumors/lesions/bleeds in his brain, he had no meaningful chance of recovery. Despite that, the neurology resident continued to inappropriately push for further treatment even though we had requested a DNR and hospice.
After further demands, an oncologist arrived 6/8 to recommend hospice. We requested hospice at least 3 times on 6/8 (meanwhile the neurology resident continued to inform us our father was "doing great"). We completed hospice paperwork and continued to call Valley to confirm the doctors had placed the discharge order. My dad's ICU nurse advised there was nothing she could do to follow up on the hospice order despite our request for hospice several hours prior and we'd need to wait. We called the evening of 6/8 to follow up (now several hours after our hospice request) and were told that hospice had no beds available. We informed Valley this was not true and suddenly 10 minutes later, the order was finally done, but too late for the transfer to take place that evening. This allowed Valley to continue to keep my father in ICU for another night billing excessively for medications/procedures we'd requested stopped the morning of June 8th. My dad was finally transferred to hospice 6/9, and passed away on June 10th.
The facility and admin staff also treated our family without any sort of compassion. A nurse manager on the second floor (Stephanie) was incredibly rude as we tried to provide food/items for my mom who was assisting my father. There were also no private spaces to discuss my dad's care. At one point had to have a DNR conversation in a hallway as people continued to pass by us since it was part of the lobby.
At one point, we were advised by my dad's treating physicians to wait in the cafeteria. There was a clear sign indicating staff only and the doctor advised we should wait there anyway - we confirmed with numerous individuals that it was okay for us to sit in the cafeteria since there was no other private place to meet with palliative care and other staff regarding my father's treatment. We sat in the cafeteria for 2 days peacefully. At no point were we asked to leave.
Abruptly, on June 7th around 3pm, some type of administrative supervisor with blonde hair arrived into the cafeteria with 2 security guards and aggressively demanded we leave immediately. The admin staff person never spoke to us but had 2 security guards demand we get out and stand over us as we packed up our computers/personal items. We politely moved but the way we were approached was clearly intended to create an unnecessary altercation.
It is difficult to lose a family member. I greatly appreciate the good nurses and treatment my father had while on the third floor. Losing a loved one is difficult; the lack of continuity of care, treatment by the admin staff and overall facility made an extremely difficult situation much worse. I could never recommend this facility.
Kimberly Schjang
The staff was patient and helpful in inpatient care. The room was comfortable and cleaned every day. They were very accommodating of my mother who stayed with me the first few nights and even had a couch that turned into a bed. The food was pretty decent and it was a pleasant stay even though I wasn't in pleasant pain!
J Tracy
I was admitted with a blood clot in my leg, the care i received was quick and professional, staff was friendly and efficient. The facility was clean and spotless. My problem was taken care of and I was released. I would recommend this hospital to every one .

I was there from the 26th to the 30th from the ER to the ICU to a reg room 308 the first area was crowded ICU room was small and dingy with no TV and no private restroom. As my condition improved i got taken to the third floor room 308 and it was nicely renovated. With my own tv and restroom. It wasn't bad except for their alarms kept going off and it was annoying.

Tyler and Sam were amazing always checking on me and everyone else ony team was amazing except the ER doctors down in the ER bay who said that "you're old enough. You don't need your mom" then turned around when I asked for pain meds for my lower back due to a tear im it that "I'm underaged to get medication.". I'm 18 mind you and was only asking for Tylenol. IT WAS I LY TYLENOL I WAS ASKING FOR! Also Rikki was amazing.

I had a very positive experience and I would like to acknowledge a few of the people that made my experience so much better. Florence (Flo) at the pre-registration desk. She was sweet, funny and very comforting. My nurses, before surgery, Ann and Debbie, took very good care of me and Debbie especially made me laugh. Esmerelda in Radiology was very compassionate and comforting during a horrible procedure I was not prepared for. Kelly in surgery was also very sweet and comforting. I didn't even write down names of the nurses and I remember them, Thank all of you for allowing me such a good experience during a very scary time!!

First night was the pits. One of the night nurses was very rude. Wanted to use the restroom and she finally came. Had to sit in bed. It was at least 1/2 hour. When I complained and that I couldn't do it she too bad that I wasn't her patient . she was very rude and very loud.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. From the moment I walked in to th ER, to the moment I was discharged from the hospital 5 days later, I was treated kindly, with respect, with compassion, with a smile. The ER staff was impeccable, no long wait, nurses were attentive, doctor was there regularly to check up on me, the radiology staff was excellent! When I was told I was being admitted. I thought for sure, now comes the 5 hour wait for the bed to open! Not at all!! 20 minutes later I was on my way upstairs. The nurses, the CNA's, the lab techs, the housekeeping staff, the dietary staff, and all the other staff in my wing were just as amazing. They all came with a smile and compassion. If ever I had to ring my call button, it was always answered in a minute or less. They were on time with meds, meals come on time every day....and the food is delicious!!! Truth be told, when I was being discharged, I was wishing I could stay a few more days!! Ignore the negative comments on this hospital, I wish I did. I was so nervous because of the reviews I actually delayed my visit to the ER for 2 days!!! That could have been 2 less days in pain!! If I am faced with going to the ER again, Valley Hosputal is my #1 choice.

I can't say enough positive about my wife's 5 day stay at Valley. She went from emergency to Surgical ICU, then to a semi private room. At each location the staff was exceptional. Extremely vigilant and highly communicative. Typically one gets annoyed due to lack of information about plans and procedures for the patient. At Valley I was fully informed about what was done, what was planned and results of the various tests performed.
Kudo's to the staff, doctors, nurses, and nursing students who attended my wife.

This hospital saved my fiance's life! He just left there after being admitted for almost a month, and every single staff member we encountered was beyond amazing. Always caring, checking up on him, making sure he was happy. He was taken into surgery very quickly after being admitted, and they saved him from losing his leg. After that scare, he ended up with the flu and pneumonia, which his body couldn't fight, so they had to intubate him. He was very critical for awhile, but they fought hard and made him better! Andrea, the nurse in the ICU, was wonderful and barely left his side. Dr. Wattoo is amazing, very kind and great bedside manner. I wish I could remember all the names, because I'm so very grateful to every person that my fiance came across! Thank you Valley Hospital!!

In every medical institution you will find pros and cons. Patients that give glowing reports and those that can't be pleased no matter how hard the staff tried. Even after saving the person's life. Valley Hospital is hands down one of the best medical facilities in the city of Las Vegas. From the time that you enter the ER you feel a sense of calm because you know that you're in good hands. Even though at times you will hear patients being rude and somewhat violent to staff, the members still do their jobs with pride and professionalism.
Their cardiac unit is top notch and the basic care that you'll receive will astound you. From the initial intake to treatment to dietary to the records department. Valley has more than earned the 5 Star rating. Valley Hospital, saving lives, reparing the broken and renewing hope when all seems lost. You're in good hands. I guarantee it.

I was in the hospital almost a month prior and receive an excellent experience and care from the doctor and nursing staff. The reason why I didn't give a full 5 stars is because of the encounter of the doctors in the emergency last night they were rude and disrespectful and had no bedside manner. I really like this hospital but it's like a hit or miss with them. They either take you seriously or treat you as a joke.
Update: They definitely deserve 5 stars they have a wonderful team of professional and caring staff working there.

Overall had a good experience. Everyone was very professional. The only negative i had was with the on duty nurses once i was in my room. Nurses are supposed to see you every hour. I was lucky to see them 2 times in a 12 hr period. The only nurse who i was very happy with was my night nurse the first night of my stay. She was very efficient and actually seemed to care, which was the night of 9-3. All of the cna, physical therapist, occupational therapist, and even the housekeeping lady were very friendly and helpfull.

Can't say enough good things about our experience at Valley! From check in to discharge, the staff went out of their way to put us at ease and make certain that my Dana received the best care possible. A special
shout out to Dr.Luh and the surgical staff! Thank you to everyone for all you do!

I had such a great experience here. All the nurses are super nice. Even the security guard was super nice and funny. I like that even during such a unfortunate time in our lives right now, that there are still people out there willing to share a laugh. Thsnk you to everyone that helped me pre op ,during op and post op !! You all deserve the highest cudos for even you do and deal with.
