This facility is really wonderful. Dr Rona is my primary care physician and everyone that works in her office is so pleasant, professional, and helpful. I try to get all of my imaging and blood work done at the labs here because the employees are so fantastic. Today Jessica was my MRI technician and she is just excellent! Her patient service skills and style are excellent! I highly recommend this facility and these doctors, Lynn

I got my first 3D mammogram at Parkway imaging on Boyd today. I didn’t have to wait at all and Tricia was my tech. She was professional, kind and the entire experience was painless. Sure, there’s some pressure, but the myths out there sure made it sound scary, and it was the opposite. Tricia was thorough and explained my image measurements which was really neat to see how she made sure she got all the tissue for the doctor to see. Thankful this imaging center is close by and accessible. My appointment was supposed to be at 3. I got to the office at 2:50, filled out a couple papers, got imaged and walked out of the building at 3:18. Fast, easy service. Thanks!

Went in for my annual mammogram and I just had to log on so I could give 5 stars for the excellent service I received. Mitzi (front desk) was so polite, friendly and efficient and Nicole (the technician) was respectful, courteous and funny - I felt very at ease with her. Both are excellent representatives of the hospital.

Today I had a Lumbar Spine MRI at the Parkway Image Suite. My provider was Dave. He did an excellent job making sure I was comfortable before starting the Scan. I arrived at Hancock Regional Hospital this morning for a CT Scan. A few days ago I hurt my back and knew positioning for this scan would be painful. The staff was so kind and made every effort to make sure I was comfortable. This is not my first time to Hancock Regional and I always receive the best of care from A+ employees. was scheduled for imaging 4/21/2022 and showed up on 4/19/22. the registration receptionist Sherri offered to see if they could get me in anyways. 5 minutes later she had confirmed it was available .Taylor and Jordan in imaging were great. they explained everything that was going to happen. and were very friendly as well. the doctor came in and explained every thing he was doing as well. done quickly then off to MRI .Amber was very friendly and explained everything she was going to do. I was very pleased with how the whole team worked to get me taken care of, beyond my expectations. great job ladies

Since past year they took very good care of me but I remember this time after happen last year it wasn’t great strong this year I end up to go hospital and I explained to nurse that I have history with asthma flare up with gerd again and dr Freudenthal went talk to me about his plan I agreed , I got iv and i got felt better but he check on me make sure I was okay I told him I was fine and still little cold Last March I got egd produce by dr Adullah his team and him took care good care of me In 2019 Dr miner and nurse care of me for surgery they make sure I was safe and good well Thank you hancock hospital for best care

Went to the ER for infected wounds and the staff and nurse practitioners were very very nice. Five stars for them! The doctor, Helen robins was rude though. She asked questions that just didn’t seem necessary and blamed me for lying about how I received the wounds. She hardly even looked at them. Not sure if she was just having a bad day or what. She did not seem professional at all. Again, bravo to everyone else I came across there at the hospital!

All was good until Dr Dan Cheriye took over for Dr U who was very sweet with an excellent bedside manner and rest of staff was very helpful. I never had such a horrible experience with a hospital after Dr. Cheriye took over but Hancock staff made things right for my father’s care and transfer to hospital with the medical equipment to take care of his needs.

Very thorough here, love that. I came here for a second opinion and they've done way more for me here than they've done at any other hospital I've went to so far. Can't seem to figure out what's wrong with me. But I know they've repeated the tests that were already done and added even more testing onto it. Told me that they were going to get to the bottom of what was wrong, though. I love determination and they are determined...

We have been to this Hospital twice for a Covid related issue in the past few hours. The Nurses were kind, and it was nice to see a warm smile. We know how incredibly busy they are. In fact everyone was professional and kind. The doctor took a little while to see my husband, but that was expected as they were so busy. The doctor ordered tests immediately and the wait for the test to be done was reasonable. The results were given in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately we didn't figure out why he was in so much pain. I do think they were thorough and it probably is some weird covid thing. This Hospital was also very clean. Thank you.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful from the receptionist who walked me all the way back to radiology to Sherrie who checked me in and Amber who performed my tests. She even called when they had a cancellation and got me in earlier. I'm new to Greenfield I have to say I'm very impressed.

Just spent several days in the Hancock Hospital - non covid and want to give the staff (Doctors/nurses/technicians/housekeeping/and background staff) a big “thank you” for their fantastic care and attention. They deserve more recognition than they get for their sacrifices and very long work days/weeks than people give them. The staff are short handed but still managed to have just stellar attitude and smiles on their (covered) faces that make you feel as well as possible. Would love to leave all of their names on here but I will respect there privacy. So to all of you over worked hospital staff… THANK YOU!

Wanted to get a flu test on a Friday night and immediate care would not take us. We went to the ER, knowing with triage that since we were just wanting a flu swab, it would likely be a long wait since it wasn’t an emergency. The intake ladies were very nice and although we had to wait in the lobby with some very loud people waiting to be seen, who were constantly complaining about the wait, it wasn’t that bad. We saw Dr. Henney and he discussed treatment options and even gave us info on covid and the vaccination in a very informative but not pushy way. My husband ended up testing positive for the flu unfortunately, but everyone worked really hard to get us seen in a timely manner, even though we weren’t a priority. Thank you Kara, Elizabeth, Sage, and Dr Henney!

Yesterday I had my annual mammogram with the team at the James T. Anderson, M.D. Center for Women's Health in the Hancock Regional Hospital (Greenfield, IN). As soon as you walk in, you are greeted warmly by Mitzi. She guides you through the paperwork and insurance (questions or concerns) before you are taken to the dressing room to change. My mammogram appointment was excellent with April. As she was helping me to get into the correct position for my first picture, I began to feel more comfortable. April is gentle, and as she is asking you/guiding you to move your feet or your chin, and your arm, she will put a smile on your face. This kind of attitude really helps with this procedure. You do not feel rushed. You feel that you have been taken care of.

I received a follow up reminder...and a reschedule option if i preferred to come in early, which I did. When I arrived at the New Palestine facility, I called to "check in" and then waited in my car until I was called back when they were ready for me. I was told to enter into the back entrance. (Which was perfect because that is where the actual testing took place and kept me from walking through the front entrance and less exposure to other people) My mammogram with Hancock Health was awesome! Sounds funny to say that because most people dread having this testing done. There is sometimes reporting of it being uncomfortable or painful. Bev is efficient in the set up and the imaging when quickly. All in all it was a quick visit, but I did not feel rushed at all. Bev is very knowledgeable in her field, and does a fantastic job explaining what she is doing. She is very professional and at the same time has a wonderful personality. She was very thorough on how I would receive my results. She explained the letter coming in the mail and if it didn't, I could call or email her. (The letter came in a timely manner and there was no need to call)

I take my children here in emergencies and you know how stressful things can be with sick kiddos and lack of sleep. They are very good with my kids and one nurse told me I was an amazing momma and honestly I really needed to hear that especially that night. Wait time is expected and facility is always super clean every time we go.

Exceptional care Is being with my patient every step of way in their health plan. It’s going that extra step by Giving my patient the support through the tough times, encouragement through the obstacles life brings them, and most importantly showing them love and empathy. They may be here just for a routine visit or several day stay, they all have a different story that deserves that same exceptional experience. I am an employee in the imaging department at HRH. The Reward for me is that they give back to me more than I give back to them. I learn so much from my patients. I was once in their shoes this last holiday season. I couldn’t tell you how much support, love, and care we got while spending a couple nights at Hancock Regional hospital with my littlest one. An excellent experience comes from teamwork. From the ER staff to the nurses and doctors on the floor! Even the housekeepers checking in making sure we had everything we needed made a memorable impression that made our stay and patient experience more relaxed and put us more at ease in a scary situation. The amount of care my daughter and our family received is unmeasurable! And for that We are so thankful and blessed to have been given excellent patient experience by Hancock Regional Health.

You guys really need to get everyone on the same page. This flipping back and forth between allowing 1 visitor PER DAY and 1 visitor AT A TIME with No limit on number of people in the 2 HOUR time frame is really ridiculous. Only reason I give ANY stars is because the NURSES who are caring for my person understand the IMPORTANCE of family. Not a single time over the weekend were any of us told 1 person a day. Not the person who worked switchboard Friday when I called.. not the 2 individuals that did everyone's screening and gave us all directions on getting where we needed to go. Not any of the Nurses on the floor we went to. Not any of the other staff walking by us waiting patiently to see our person. Not one problem until today. I was told you were a wonderful hospital who cared for people. But this is hard enough as it is to have a loved in the hospital, even harder when the hospital is OUT OF TOWN, and especially difficult with the close relationships had between the family members. If you truly knew and cared then you wouldnt flip flop and then be sarcastic with comments like "there used to be thing called facetime".

Debbie and Mitzi in the Women's Clinic are great. Mitzi understood when I did not want to do a survey that is offered, no problem. Wonderful experience at each location that I have visited within Hancock. Dr Hoffman in the ER was wonderful during our recent visit. We also had a great experience with the receptionist, imaging, registration and the RN. Gateway was able to get us an appointment for a MRI the very next day. The facility was great and the staff was kind and helpful. We also had a recent appointment with Dr Strong. I highly recommend his office. He was very informative and listened to our concerns. Going to the hospital is not always something that you look forward to but Hancock Regional Health has a very friendly relaxing atmosphere. The staff here seems to more than go out of their way to see that your visit is pleasant,safe and precise to get you through to exactly where your needs will quickly be met. They know it's a busy world out there and they know you have numerous other things going on besides having a long drawn out visit to a hospital. They always want you to make the most of your day. :)

The hospital is fairly run down and their online payment feature is frustrating and antiquated. This is not the hospital that I would choose for any major surgery. There is nothing about this hospital that makes me think they are on the cutting edge of care in any way.

After having surgery 2/2018 I had to stay in the hospital for three nights. All of the staff was amazing. The nurses were great and most of them even went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable and that all of my needs were met. This review does not reflect Teresa at all as she gets a 5 stars rating! One of the instructions is to hold breath and to breathe. Teresa did her best to communicate with me even though she does not know sign language. May I suggest that the machine itself have some light indicators to guide the patient through the breathing during the mammogram? It would benefit everyone else - not just those with hearing problems. Thank you.

They will take VERY good care of you and your loved ones. Every experience I've had with them has been amazing. My Dad and Grandpa were both in the hospice wing at the hospital. When we were there for my Grandpa, the nurses remembered us from being there with Dad.

Our 11yo had to have a STAT CT scan to rule out appendicitis. She was anxious and she also had never had an IV before. Dana and Courtney were amazing. They did their best to make her less anxious constantly talking with her to create a diversion. I am so appreciative of their sweet efforts as well as their efficiency.

First time to visit Hancock Hospital! It was the best experience I have had at a hospital. From the time I parked the car till the time I left, everyone was so nice and kind. Mitzie in office went above and beyond to help me with paperwork. April, who is amazing; conducted my bone scan. She had my test results to my doctor and the doctor( Dr. Barb Pescitelli) emailed me before I got home. ( I live 25 mins away.) I am taking all of my health care business to Hancock.

I will pick this hospital first before going elsewhere, because of the past excellent service it has provided me. Today's appointment was for a CT scan. Ronnie first asked how i was doing, then explained everything as she prepared me for the scan. I am that patient who wants to know "play by play" what is going to happen, and she didn't disappoint me. It made for a less stressful procedure, and extra kudos to her for getting the IV in the first time, too!

I love this hospital. I have been going here for two of my children now. Unfortunately my son was stillborn in July 2017. The OBGYN staff handled it very delicately and was as kind as possible with my difficult situation. They treated me like a queen my entire pregnancy and continued to treat me like a queen even after my Jackson had passed. I am newly pregnant now with my rainbow baby, still getting the same awesome treatment! I definitely recommend their OB team if you are a high risk pregnancy. They will give you a specialized plan that caters to your needs and your baby's needs. This hospital is amazing for their emergency services as well! Emergency team always listens to me even when I feel crazy. Thanks Hancock!

We had a good experience when we came in for our heart scans. The only hiccup we experienced was when we told the person at the registration desk we were here for the scan is that they sent us back to Radiation instead of the cashier. So we had to come back and pay for the heart scans first then go back to Radiation. The heart scan part went very well as everybody from the information volunteers, the Radiation receptionist, and the nurse who did the scan were very helpful and competent.The scans only took about 15 minutes each and we got the results with an explanation of our scores and that our doctor and a Radiologist would get the results as well.

They got me in&out pretty fast&didn't do any unnecessary tests. &they also made me feel more at ease knowing that I was nervous. Bev demonstrated dedication to making the patient comfortable from the beginning, explained the procedures to be done, and was a great listener for any questions... confidently providing answers immediately. This is definitely an Excellent rating for a lovely lady who enjoys her occupation and superb caring concerns for the patient. Thanks to Bev for the well-wishes, and maybe I won't need more x-rays soon, but certainly will come back to NP if necessary. v/r

As usual I was treated with utmost care and respect at HRH Women's Center. Due to traffic issues, I arrived 5 minutes after my scheduled time; however, at check-in Cheryl set my mind at ease and I was able to relax. My name is Michelle and I have had my mammogram testing at the Womens Health Unit inside Hancock Regional for year after year and they remain consistent with their professionalism and their caring demeanor. I always feel comfortable and appreciate the ease of this yearly appointment.

Hancock Regional Emergency Room served us well recently. My wife was removing a glass jar from the dishwasher when the jar broke and cut her on both hands. Thankfully the wounds were not serious but they did require some stitches. We were treated quickly as there weren’t very many in the ER that early in the evening and the receiving staff and nursing staff were very welcoming and professional in taking care of her. An X-ray was taken to make sure no glass pieces were hidden in the wounds and that there wasn’t unseen damage to the hand. The ER doc was personable and very efficient in numbing the areas to be sewn. Instructions were given re care and washing; our local doc was notified and a call from our doctor’s office happened the next day. Even in a “little” emergency event, the protocol followed that sent a message of trust and efficiency!

The employees i interact with always seem to enjoy interacting with people while providing a service. Even when i have to wait it doesnt seem bad and is never very long. I'm from Texas but was on vacation visiting family. We decided to go fishing. My cousin tossed his reel and his hook caught the side of my face. After hours of trying to remove the hook and couldnt, we decided to go to the hospital.. In no time they had me fixed up and feeling better than before. This group of people were super friendly and on top of the situation. The hospital was clean and we'll taken care of. I admit I was very scared and nervous but this one little nurse held my hand thru the whole operation. I wish I could remember her name. Keep up the great work... better yet. Excellent work..

My name is Corey Allen Holmes , I was born at Hancock Regional Hospital in August 11th of 1979. Hancock Regional Hospital it's just a wonderful place right down the street but I can rely on whenever I I need a doctor. I never I've been sick enough to where I had to stay in the hospital room. Until September 12th . The ER was there for me I had an operation on my left foot on August 2nd of 2018. Reconstructive surgery what's going to fix my foot from being crooked due to a break that happened eight years prior. Dr. Andrew capsulas is my podiatrist, they operated on my foot and put 10 pieces of titanium in my left foot. I was excited to fix my foot in to make it nice and straight. The operation went well. Why did I catch a staph infection from the operation but they were able to take care of that as well. The ICU rooms are very comfortable with high ceilings and a spacious room for the nurse to work and you to relax in to get all. And for the food the food is phenomenal. The breakfast to lunch the dinner it's all really really good the people are really nice. I had a PICC line in my arm so I had to go to the hospital every day to get my antibiotics through a PICC line and the people and the nurses are very very good Dr. Vail was infectious disease doctor in he took very good care of me. The emergency room is very clean and quick responses. I had to stop in there a few times due to the fact of lower back problems vs. Itis in my knee and my right hip. In the past I've never stayed in the hospital before I built a lot of them Clarion North Clarion West Reed hospital, and Hendricks Hospital. I did the remodel in 2005 at the Hancock Regional Hospital in the emergency area and the third floor but I see you. So from the experience of never staying in the hospital and having a chance to stay at the Hancock Regional Hospital was very nice. The nurses bring you snacks what every morning they pass out a crisp newspaper. With the new beds and the help from the nurse aides I was able to go to the bathroom with my foot surgery. The bathrooms are complete and with a walk-in shower and a emergency button for the nurses just in case. Both of my children was born in Hancock Regional Hospital in 2005 and in 2008 and they're very healthy strong and intelligent young boys. Also the chaplain will come around to the Rouge and check on you and make conversation in case you needed to repent or have a prayer in need . Also the chapel it is helpful for those who are at work and visitors with fuse on both sides and a place where you can write your prayers. When Ash Wednesday they won't have a intercom announcement stating that there is a chaplain and a time to celebrate Ash Wednesday when I was working there I was able to get ashes on my forehead. Everything there is beautiful it's a very healthy place and surgery and in the gift shop there's all kinds of accessories you can have for your house or a gift for a loved one. I know sometimes patients are not in the best mood and I appreciate their helpfulness 2 forgive when you are in the most pain and aren't in the best mood sometimes we make mistakes as people and we don't really get a chance to treat the doctor's or educated that wants to help us. There is also greeters at the front door. If you need a wheelchair and a push they will gladly help with a revolving door and two handicap accessory doors on each side but is very helpful to Beasley get in and out.

I fell and broke my wrist roller skating this past winter. I was promptly seen by Hancock Orthopedics (Dr. Kaushik) and surgery was scheduled. I had an amazing surgery team! I landed in the Hancock ER while visiting from out of town. It feels strange to say that this was the most fun I've ever had in an ER!! I was in agony, but all of the nurses kept me giggling. I was in for pneumonia. I was treated so kindly by all my nurses, med techs, doctors, respitory techs,housekeeping(Donna) and even the cafeteria. It was a wonderful experience. Liz,Lexi,Jeanna,Marissa, Paige,David,Traci,Jaqueline and a respiratory tech who's name I didnt catch and Dr U! You all were amazing! Thank you all so much for you kindness, knowledge and care. If I missed a caregiver that helped me in the unit I was in thank you!

Today I had diagnostic breast imaging and a needle biopsy at Hancock Regional Hospital's Women's Center. The staff were extremely accommodating, comforting, efficient, informative and skillful. I want to give special shout-outs to April, Debbie, and Janelle. They are the BEST. The radiologist, Dr. Myers, was also excellent in explaining what needed to be done. I would go back there in a heartbeat!
