Reviews of Connecticut Foot Specialists, PC
Stacy
I have had a few pleasant experiences at Connecticut Foot Specialists. The receptionists were very friendly which was refreshing. The Medical Assistant was a joy and very efficient. She eased my mind about the procedure. Dr. Wagner was a very personable doctor. He took the time to explain my condition and procedure in detail. I had gone to another foot doctor for years for the same problem but Dr. Wagner rectified the issue in one visit. My toes are finally alright and I couldn't be more pleased! Highly recommend!!

I had a super painful, infected ingrown toe nail. I called around offices until I found this one and they immediately squeezed me into the schedule. The medical assistant was so calming and comforting along with Dr. Wagner, who was extremely patient and compassionate. Very professional and the procedure was so fast and painless. I would HIGHLY recommend this office any day!!

Dr. Wagner is great! Very clean, friendly and organized office. Had an appointment for 4:25 on a Wednesday but did not want to hit traffic on 91 so they were able to get me in for 2 o’clock last minute. Dr. Wagner is helpful, personable and very intelligent. Highly recommend!

Dr. Wagner is an amazing foot Dr. He's very professional and still makes you comfortable ( not nervous) he explains everything. He did my bunion surgery and I'm diabetic that went beautifully, he did my sister's surgery went very well. The office is always clean and the staff is great. I would recommend him to everyone. Thanks Dr. Wagner.

I started seeing Dr. Brian Wagner for my feet issues quite a few years ago. Two separate issues resulting in two surgeries. One, a fairly stubborn and ultimate plantar wart removal, and the second, a mortans neuroma.
Based upon my experiences with Dr. Wagner, I wouldn't trust my feet to anyone else as he really knows his stuff!!!!
My most recent visits were from an injury I did to my heel in August 2020. After all the usual home treatments for approx two months, then office visits to Dr Wagner that included over a few months process, prednisone, cortisone shots, air compression boot, and ultimately an MRI before surgery to confirm because nothing else was working, turns out I had extreme plantar fasciitis, tearing, and inflammation of the bone, ouch is correct! Dr. Wagner was very concerned and caring throughout the whole process with this, esp as my job has me on my feet all day.. I ended up having a partial plantar fasciotomy surgery to relieve the tight plantar band and I am happy to say I recovered really quick from the surgery and have had no issues and am now, do I dare say, pain free! Actually I think my foot feels better now than it did before my injury! 😊

Dr. Wagner was excellent. I didn’t wait too long, he had a great bedside manner, was very knowledgeable and offered a solution that I felt very comfortable with. The waiting and examination rooms were very clean, updated and welcoming.
I cannot say the same for his medical assistant. Turns out she wasn’t satisfied with my answers to her questions about location and pain and instead of asking me differently (or any other form of positive communication i.e. foot chart, rephrasing questions) she became visibly agitated and had an attitude. I confronted her and she felt I wasn’t answering her questions. I replied that I felt I was and asked what else she needed. This was my first visit and this exchange was within my first few minutes with her. There’s no excuse for her passive aggressive behavior towards me. I don’t feel comfortable going back and if I do I will ask for a different assistant.

Was referred by the Dr I saw at the walkin office the day before after my toes were crushed. After walking into Dr Wagners office immediately felt welcomed. Then when I met Dr Wagner he was professional and knew exactly what needed to be done in and out under 15 mins highly recommend to anyone in need of a foot specialist.

4 Months ago, August 2020, I wore sandals in the house instead of my shoes because it was summer and I'm stupid. My heel and mid sole HURT SO MUCH. Only in my right foot did the pain manifest and as long as I was walking or stretching the pain was barely noticeable. As soon as I rested the foot for more than 5 minutes the pain was back. I tried at home remedies for almost two months; Ice bottles, massage gun treatments, stretches, night splints, you name it. I went to a podiatrist mid October who suggested P/T and some orthotics. I was already doing stretches and the orthotic place they referred me to closed two years ago.
I couldn't take it any longer, I decided to get a second opinion with Dr. Wagner. He asked questions and examined my feet so thoroughly I was asking what the hell I paid the previous Doctor for in terms of service provided. Dr. Wagner let me tell my story and what I was doing at home to help the with the pain. I told him I needed relief and was willing to have the foot taken off just to stop the pain.
Dr. Wagner gave me the cortisone injection to bring down the inflammation, telling me I should feel relief very soon after. The pain of the needle was minimal and the burning of the cortisone was tolerable. I WALKED OUT OF THE OFFICE WITHOUT HOVELING OR LIMPING! OMFG - FOUR MONTHS OF PAIN RELIVED IN MINUTES.
Of course this isn't a cure but we are treating the symptoms but holy heck I can walk again without wincing in pain. What a dramatic improvement in Quality of Life. I called the office back once i got home and was walking around like there was nothing wrong at all and asked to tell Dr. Wagner thank you so freaking much for doing what he did. Holy hell why didn't I go to him months ago.
