By far Broomfield Hospital have been the best hospital I've had to be admitted to I was sent here from Aurora South due to their ignorance and not knowing what was wrong with me but once I came to Broomfield they treated me with nothing but royalty they checked on me every hour on the hour they brought me ice chips whenever I need it clean gowns cleaned the shower after every use every time I got out of my bed they changed my bedding I can order whatever I wanted to from the food menu and they also provided a guest tray for my mother who stayed the past few days with me I would recommend Broomfield hospital to anyone that needs Health Care this hospital was the first place to diagnose something that's been going on with me for almost 10 months they were very patient and very calm and very understanding every employee remembered my name and remembered the situation I was going through or past history that I told them about myself if you are looking for a comfortable homey like hospital to be care for I truly recommend Broomfield Hospital the whole entire staff is awesome even the dietary AIDS in the cafeteria they also have volunteers that walk around with companionship dogs and activities so you're not bored will be my go hospital from now on rock on Broomfield Hospital 🥰🤟

A place of Excellent source of Wellness and Professional Staff with in entire environment here. My health as is other patients here, were the ultimate concerns from every staff member here including the security personnel and even the kitchen staff perform the meals fresh and delicious. House keeping made sure on daily basis even maintenance staff kept the stay pleasant and even had great personality. My stay was wonderful and treatment was was in their best interest day in and day out, always asking " do you need anything I can get you ". Highest recommendation!!!

We had the best experience there this afternoon with the lab technician Turbo, she was so good at what she does. I have always had issues and it took her seconds to get both me and my wife. She was very professional and made us feel comfortable.

3 stars for the care of my sister but missing 2 because the receptionists are continually under educated and some of the errors staff are quite dismissive. My sister was admitted there and taken care of, but because she had PASSED OUT attempting to get a ride to the Hospital, staff claimed they could not tell us if she had been admitted. This was either a lie out of laziness or a lack of understanding of HIPPA laws. My family were TERRIFIED trying to look for her so we could be there for her. When my mother called, thr receptionist said "she seems fine, you're welcome to come down", my sister was NOT fine. She was still in critical condition. I understand not giving that over the phone, but you don't say "they seem fine". Care in Denver was FANTASTIC. Here is some information from Acluorg so the receptionists can readit, since they don't get trained, aparently. Q: Can I find out if my loved one is a patient at a particular hospital? A: Generally, yes. Under the HIPAA Privacy Rule, if you ask for a loved one by name, a hospital or medical facility can usually tell you if he or she is a patient at its facility.[iii] There are instances, however, when a hospital or medical facility will not be able to tell you if your loved one is a patient at its facility, such as when your loved one instructs the hospital not to disclose any information about him or her, or when the hospital maintains a policy of not revealing any patient information, unless otherwise directed by the patient. (Such a policy is not required under the Privacy Rule, but has been adopted by some hospitals.)

I have had two hip arthroplasty at this hospital and I believe I have had the best experience I have had at any hospital in this location. My first hip replacement was at this hospital requested by my surgeon I didn't know any different but chose to accept my surgeons recommendation. I am so glad I did. I was so happy with my first experience with this hospital and their surgical unit that I requested my second hip replacement be at this hospital as well and the surgeon was happy to do so. Thank you so much Broomfield hospital for your wonderful staff and professional Care through some very painful times 🙂

I am here to appreciate the sonographer (I think her name is Tracie) who did my ultrasound yesterday at Uch Broomfield.I was there for my neck ultrasound but there was a CT scan for which I had no appointment yet.Tracie did take initiative to get me an appointment for CT scan on same day so that I don’t have to come again.It was definitely the kind of act which made my day and thank you Tracie so much for that .Even the person do did CT was very kind enough to accommodate me.Thank you so much and appreciate the kindness.

Went in for foot surgery, had to be in ER before and after. Everyone was so kind I had 3 nurses and all gave top notch service/care. Anesthesiologist was great & of course my surgeon was.great as he has been The ER nurses even called me at home the next day to check on me. I know they’ve worked long exhausting shifts but they still had the best attitude and amazing care

Went in this morning at 5 am with my mom who had a persistent nosebleed and is on blood thinners. The staff was absolutely WONDERFUL. They greeted us immediately and got us back to a room quickly. All staff were very professional, compassionate, caring and especially the medical and bedside care was exceptional. Update: A day later and ANOTHER ED visit with my mom. No accident, the care again was superlative and the staff was more than amazing. The doctor especially again spent so much time with us explaining what was happening and the course of things. Different doctor today and still exceptional care. After being a nurse for 37 years, I feel VERY thankful we have this caliber of staff and this level of care so close to home.

Dr. Armstrong was a wonderful anesthesiologist. He made me feel so much more comfortable with a very unpleasant day. I felt completely safe under his care. Dr. Fenoglio is a clearly knowledgeable surgeon. The nurses were also amazing! Kat, Holly, and Annalise, I think. The whole nursing staff is incredible. Thank you for a great experience

I had surgery on October 18th for a shoulder replacement. The entire care team was great however I have to Thank Wendy Wilson personally. She was the very BEST nurse I have ever met. The staff was wonderful - on time, friendly, and efficient. Shoutout to Traci in radiology who made my visit very comfortable. But parking here is a nightmare. Nowhere near enough space. They are building more parking but need to find a solution that works in the meantime. When I got there, there were multiple cars circling looking for a space. Update 2022: the new parking lot is complete and parking is much better.

I took my mom to the ER on April 2nd with stomach pain. Everybody is very attentive, they treated her very well. I especially want to mention the tall handsome nurse with curly hair and beard. I didn't catch his name but he was wonderful.

Went in with severe abdominal pain and the care I received was quite possibly the most attentive I’ve ever received. The ER team was absolutely the best, caring, compassionate and professional. The nurses in the ER were incredible and Dr. Edelstein was extremely professional and thorough. They explained everything to me each step of the way and made sure to answer all of my questions. I was admitted to the hospital and the 2 nurses assigned to me were phenomenal, Brian and Hieu. They were patient and made sure I was comfortable as could be. The surgeon on call, Dr. Walker was very attentive and even called after I was discharged to check on me. I made it a point to write down their names because I wanted to give credit where it was due. I’m a business owner in the service industry and you can’t teach employees to conduct themselves this way, it’s all from hiring the right people. I highly recommend this entire facility and hope you never have to use it.

I went to this ER for excessive bleeding due to fibrosis. I had the absolute best care. Everyone from when I entered the building into the ER room were exceptionally kind and empathetic. The EMT, Nurses and Doctor were very professional with a warm bedside manner. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and researched my condition to make sure my issue was resolved or at least had an answer for my issues. I'll go back any time. Love them!

Arrived in ER on a Sunday due to kidney stone. Access to a room was prompt and quick, nurses were good at asking questions while I was in some pretty good pain from the stone. Doctor took a bit of time to make rounds and get to me but was very appreciative of the time spent answering questions. Took a while to get pain meds after he saw me looking "as pale as the white pillow case" which wasn't fun but other patients had come in and was likely backlogged. Only knock was I was told to expect a call for referral but that never arrived. Had to call UC Health directly and found out that there was no referral entered into the UC Health system.

I saw Dr. Hillis in the ER on wed 12/8, the entire staf was amazing. My son was treated two months prior by DR. Hillis for flash burn on his eyes. I was so impressed and happy with how they treated my son, that’s why I used that same ED. I called this morning and spoke with a young lady “Colby” I believe she said her name was. I just needed some advice or to talk to the dr on duty? She was very short and not helpful at all. I went to this hospital because of the two prior great experiences. Now I’m not so sure?

Went to this facility when my daughter fell and broke her arm. All of the attending physicians and staff were caring and got us in and out quickly. However, the recommended doctor for follow up was not pleasant. They claimed they had no connection to the facility and couldn't see us. Then when I tried to get copies of the x-rays for follow up visits, the people answering the phones didn't want to "deal" with me and kept just transferring me to people who couldn't help causing me to call back multiple times. I'm actually sitting on hold for the 3rd time as I write this review.

I had my first ever hospital admission in September and felt extremely lucky that I went to this facility. Every single person there was phenomenal. They were all extremely professional, compassionate and kind. The hospital's physical environment clearly has been designed to mitigate the stress that patients and families go through during health crises, through noise reduction, healthier lighting, and an attractive interior. Again, I am very grateful that I came here for treatment, and highly recommend it to others.

My mother spent 10 days here post-brain surgery. She needed an acute rehabilitation facility, of which there were about eight presented to us by her hospital, and while this facility had just opened I felt confident that the team here had the experience needed to help her. I have nothing but rave reviews of her experience here -- the quality of care and the kindness of all the professionals involved was unsurpassed. She now continues to progress at home and we owe much of her current progress to the excellent work done here at the hospital . Thank you, UCHealth Rehab center for helping my mother!

Well I was going to leave an amazing review, my son is actually still at this hospital and had to stay two nights. I'm praying all the reviews about collection are over exaggerated or that they all got cleared up. The staff is amazing, they were so knowledgeable and explained everything to us in layman's terms. They were so sweet to me and said they would take good care of my son (he's 22). I will update my review I guess after we find out about cost.

I would not utilize this facility if given a choice. They were unable to answer simple questions about the administrative and billing aspects of my procedure, and I felt as though I received the run-around and was only given more names to contact to answer a very simple question. The clinical care was truly excellent which is the reason for three stars, but the billing is just as important and they were unprepared to assist. I should not have to to contact multiple people to ask the same question, even being advised to reach out to the CU School of Medicine to see if they could assist?! It became farcical in how and where I was continually re-directed. If I need a procedure in the future, I would price out both UCHealth and another network to see which is better both price-wise and in terms of communication from the non- clinical team members.

Fabulous place!!! My reconstructive knee revision surgery was moved from the Anschutz location to this facility. The nursing staff from pre-OP, surgery, post-OP to room were fantastic. Dr's, Physical therapists, CNA's, cleaning crew were very kind and helpful. I never felt like I lacked or needed anything because they were all on top of it. Food service was great. They even called me to get my order after I learned I wouldn't be discharged the day we thought I would. I would totally go back to this facility and highly recommend it. Keep up the great work!!!

I had an excellent experience at this ER last night. I was seen promptly by the ER nurses as well as the physician. Dr. Allison listened to my concerns and ordered appropriate testing without adding unnecessary testing that would have incurred additional costs and time. I feel confident in the diagnosis and am very happy I chose this ER over the many in the north Denver Metro area.

I am genuinely surprised to see less than fantastic reviews on here, a few weeks ago we rushed my fiance in for a cardiac episode and last night he rushed me in for a ruptured cyst on an ovary and found another lying in wait Staff here are always so kind, they were quick to make me as comfortable as possible and cranked out blood, urine, and ultrasound in less than a hour. I would like to specifically remark how professional everyone (including front desk and triage) was while I was rolling around crying in pain and they mobilized a whole team to swoop in and take care of everything right away. I am now twice as grateful for the hospital staff caring for my partner and myself in two very scary moments of our life.

When my husband’s shoulder popped out of place at the Jump City 5 minutes from this place, the firemen got there and suggested we go here. We walked in to the ER, the lady there took his information, and before we could even take a seat, the nurse came out and wheeled him in to a room, where she asked him a few questions. A few minutes later, X-rays were taken, and before long, they had put him to sleep, and popped his shoulder back into place. Granted, we were the only ones in the ER that night (thankfully), but did they get to work! To top it off, the next day, they called us to check in on him. We were so impressed with the quality service; everyone from the lady at the front desk, the nurse, doctors, and even the other nurses were professional and friendly.

I had a great experience here when I was having severe abdominal pain and thought I had appendicitis. There was no wait, the staff were super friendly and took my condition seriously, tests were quick and they explained everything to me and sent me home with clear instructions. In and out in 2 hours flat. (I didn't have appendicitis after all, thankfully.) Everyone who is complaining about the cost isn't actually complaining about this facility, they're complaining about the American healthcare system and/or their own insurance. EDIT: So turns out I totally had appendicitis but they couldn't locate my appendix on the CT so they sent me home and I continued to have issues for like two months before going to my doctor/Avista hospital where they found my enlarged appendix and took it out. Still a good experience even though they're still sending me letters saying I owe them an insane amount of money despite the fact that my insurance has dealt with/is dealing with it. But again that's not this hospital that's American healthcare so still 4 stars for this place.

The therapists here are very good, but the administration could be better at listening to their patients and their families. Getting someone to listen is takes multiple tries and even then I haven't been sure that I've gotten through. Definitely needs work in communication.

Despite being very busy diagnosing, treating, teaching, making phone calls to other facilities and consulting other providers and specialist doing all they can to help the sick, they kept their sense of humor and humanity intact. I was seen emergently for a possible heart attack. When I am nervous as one might be in this situation, I talk and talk. I do so because if you can speak you are generally not dead. I am also a bottom line kinda lady, even more so because I have been diagnosing and treating my own patients for years. I have zero tolerance for bad attitudes and bad medical care. It should worry the general public if a facility has all 5 stars all the time. This implies something that is untrue of healthcare, it implies perfect nurses, perfect doctors, perfect everything. Every level of healthcare worker from housekeeping to physician knows the truth, healthcare like any business is not perfect. I gave one star for kindness, one star for being real, one star for patience, one for safety and cleanliness, and finally a fifth star for the sacrifice and risk they took by just showing up to work with sick people. Look back through medical history and you will realize the risks taken today are not a new thing for those who work at their chosen vocation. It's not a job, it's a vocation. Throughout history many of those who care for the sick in any manner have died. Is this institution perfect? No they are not perfect, but they continue to strive for perfection in their actions. I recently needed stitches for a cut on my finger and came here. I received exceptional care from the ED staff and physician. The registration process was quick and I was in the treatment room immediately. The whole experience was positive from start to finish. My hip replacement surgery was performed at Broomfield Hospital. I can't speak to the facility's outpatient services, but my surgery went very well and everyone I encountered on the hospital staff was competent and courteous during my one-night stay.

I just had surgery on my ankle here today by Dr. Moon, and the staff is amazing, it was quick, I have to stay the night but the food is also amazing. I highly recommend this hospital and I've been to a lot of hospitals lol also if you get Dr. Moon for a surgeon, then your in very good hands!
