We have had to visit this hospital often for procedures and emergency care since it is one of the closest to our home. I personally have not had good experiences with Prisma as an adult but the children’s hospital has been good to us. They have a playground for the kids and toys in different departments which is helpful. Most of the staff we have interacted with have been professional and nice.

This magical Kingdom was right up our alley! The staff there are all Angels from above!! I thank them all! Dr. Uretzky Has been a blessing from beginning to end! We will have to be back for another procedure and I actually can’t wait! And thank you Ava for your sweetness and patience. Helping is probably part of the job, but you do it with grace! 🌹

I had to take my son to the ER, which is never a fun experience for anyone. We just moved here so not really knowing where to go plus the new rise of COVID makes sitting in an ER waiting room very stressful. But we decided to take him to Prisma Health Children's Hospital's emergency room, and I can't recommend it enough if you should find yourself in an emergency. The building was clean, the process was efficient, and the staff took such excellent care of my boy start to finish. Amazing people, doing genuinely difficult work. I can't thank them enough.

Our baby girl was born at 37 1/2 weeks. She and I received exceptional care. Thank you all the nurses who worked with our sweet girl. The NICU team who worked between 6/6 through 6/17 we appreciate all of the love, support and care you provided our family. Wmypu welcome us every second of the day we wanted to spend with of baby. Good morning, My name is Jacklyn. I'm Nana to Baby Boy Perry who was born February 7, 2022 at PRISMA. Along with my son and daughter in law , we're super satisfied nowing our little miracle is in G.O.O.D hands Ginuwine, Outstanding, Optimistic, Docw/RN's. 😊 Only HealthCare Hero's would undersltand my terminology. To name a few, the Pediatrician, NiCU, 7R staff of Children Hospital 3rd floor, Payton Jessica and Megan ,Respiratory housekeeping Demetia, Radiology Glenn. These staff members went above and beyond. They all provide excellent care to our little miracle who has been at your facility since birth I come up on weekends to stay with my grandbaby. I observed Jessica starting her shift , by wiping down and sanitizing my grandbabies room. She offered care in a way that was comfortable and appropriate. Thank you for having such great staff who care

Well I read the reviews after I had checked in at this hospital and was immediately nervous, we are not from here so this was the closest hospital to our hotel. I’m glad I decided to stay we were called back immediately and was greeted by everyone our experience has been nothing but pleasant. We are still here unfortunately, my son is sick but is being taken care of properly. Everyone here is so GREAT!!! Thank you!

My experience was not very great here at the ER. I almost bled to death in the waiting room even though we even called the ER before arriving to let them know. Once i got in though, everything was fine and some of the nurses were absolutely fantastic and so sweet!

Well our 6 month old grandchild had to be admitted. (Third floor) Now they limit visitors to two. Very good idea. So my wife and Coopers Mom were in the room.. I say in an area I thought was a waiting lounge area, unitill I was asked to leave. Here's my questiin; why would you put seating in an area that equates to a waiting area? Then have them adosity to kick me off the floor.? The design less on should be fired! Oh., one more thing I want doing anything wronge.

My daughter and I had a very positive experience with Prisma Health. From the front desk to the registrar to the nurse and doctor the overall staff. Every body was attentive and patient with my daughter and I. If i had any questions and concerns the team answered and were ready. The wait was under ten minutes. I highly recommend. Even the bathrooms were clean and tidy as they could be.

We had a fantastic experience at this hospital. My daughter came in after a severe reaction to an ant bite, and she was treated so well. She felt safe and secure, and the attending team was so kind to us both. We appreciated our late evening spent here. My two year old is still talking about it with great memories.

I was so impressed by this hospital. They took wonderful care of my daughter. Every person that she had any interactions with was so friendly, and eased both of our minds. The cleanliness is outstanding! From the time you walk in, everything in the hospital is so pretty. It’s decorated and designed just for kids!

They treat my son well but I don't appreciate that I was not allowed inside his ultrasound because I am legally blind but my husband was allowed. My son is a month old and breast fed and I would have liked to be given the opportunity for my husband and I to decide who goes up. And had it been decided that I go up, the respectful thing to do is to provide me with the assistance or guidance necessary to find my way to his appointment ether than simply having my husband do it.

The nurse and doctors all were very kind and understanding. They all worked so hard to make sure everything my son and I needed was provided and taken care of. All so friendly. And not a long wait time at all.

From time we got there at 8 am for my son's surgery he is 3 yrs old the nurses didn't try to comfort me so I wouldn't be so nervous he was getting his circumcision fixed with anesthesia and it was our first time here so all new to me and my son but they where great with him .so my son went to surgery at 10:30 he was in recovery by 11:45 ... Once I was able go back and see him and get him motivated to eat drink and stuff we finally got to the last room discharge room .. well that nurse was absolutely amazing she was completely nice and talked to me like if she new me for long time she made me comfortable with instructions on my son's papers and I wish I had her the whole day as his nurse and they need more like her and the other women from discharge floor because to be honest few other nurses from that floor was amazing as well and my son doctor (Frank penna ) did an outstanding job on my sons circumcision and if I didn't live almost hour away I would want him as my kids pediatrician he so nice and my son liked him and was not scared !! Thanks doc and staff mabey one thing tho paint more on walls for the kids to look at lol 😆😁🥰

Unfortunately, my son has been admitted here several times in the last six months. We have interacted with many departments and every experience has been great. We have spent time in recovery, PICU; we have dealt with registration and logged several weeks collectively on just about every floor in the Children's Hospital. They have an outstanding Child Life program and staff. The nurses and physicians are among the best. I truly appreciate all of them. A special thanks to the Pediatric Neurosurgery team :)

I cant even describe how pleased i am with the experience we had at this hospital. My daughter had to go in for a surgery and they made her, me, and her mother feel so good while we were there.They kept us calm and explained everything in great detail. Everyone we came in contact with made us feel like they really cared about us. My daughter had to have a tooth pulled while she was under and one of the Dr's or nurses put money under her pillow from the tooth fairy for her to find when she came to!! If the rating went up to 10 stars, thats what i would give. Thank ya'll so much for making a tough day for us REALLY EASY!!!!

Amazing staff!! Seen and treated quick. I was terrified and so was my 2 year old. The staff comforted my son and I. The doc came in less than 5 mins after being out in the room. The nurse Bridgett was super sweet!

Had to take my 10 month old to get an XRay. The hospital is very clean and calming with fish tanks and colors. My son loved looking at the fish. The front desk women were so nice! & the nurses were so sweet too! Great staff & hospital!

My best friend just had eye surgery here, she was in the PICU for almost a month. The nurses always went above and beyond for her and it was so so nice. I brought them chocolate to show my appreciation, but it honestly just wasn't enough. They were just the best.

My son has been hospitalized a few times due to a serious illness. I agree that the ER is quite busy but the staff definitely takes care of you. The hospital is very clean and well taken care of you. The doctors are awesome, the staff is great, sedation is the best, and I have to give a lot of respect to two doctors in particular. Dr Abernath is a man you can always trust and Dr Erith knows his patients needs. Thank you for everything and we will see you all soon for another surgery.

Nurses were great but when the computer system went down they chose who got supper and they said they’d discharge me around lunch and came around 6 pm also the nurse asked the person at the desk to call transport and I was waiting like 45 minutes when they didn’t call them. Also the resident didn’t apologize for coming around 6 when they said they’d be there around lunch. Nurses are so friendly and are so helpful and they’ll act like your friends.

My 2 month old came in with RSV and the doctors and nurses were so attentive and helpful in making him comfortable and keeping me calm while he recovered. The patient rooms could be improved upon but aside from that, the level of care is wonderful.

Best Children’s Hospital I’ve ever been to! The hospital is clean and the nurses and doctors and so friendly & understanding & they work so fast! We didn’t have a long wait, they work so fast and they’re simple my the best! Don’t hesitate choosing prisma health!

My 3 yr daughter was having shortness of breath and a cough.We didn’t wait very long and were brought back and seen rather quickly.Dr.Rice is amazing and made sure all my questions and concerns were addressed!They even called a few days later to follow up to make sure she was ok.

My daughter was just there for a surgery and for anyone who's ever had to go through it,it is the worse feeling in the world. Full of stress and worry and praying all goes well. But this place helps ease that worry, and is more beautiful and amazing with people who care and make it less stressful. Her surgone Camps is the best and a miracle worker and the team that is there from nurses ,to anastioglist, to the child life are all amazing and I would never go or trust anyone else's with her.Simply put if you care for your loved one and want a staff that will as well go here.

I am very pleased with the way Dr. Hubbird and his staff today with my 7 year old daughter located on the 2nd floor at 7 Medical Park. She had to go in for an MRI and they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Dr. Hubbird is definitely in the right profession because his bed side manner with small children is impeccable. I would also like to thank everyone at admissions and registration for making us feel welcome. I truly appreciate all of you and may God bless you all. Thank you!

I have been going there since I was a baby up until I turned 19. They have always taken great care of me! My kids most definitely will be going there!!! Dr. Balance is a very sweet and patient doctor, she always made sure that I knew what they were doing (even if it was to give me a shot) she would always talk me through a procedure. I had to have blood drawn and instead of them doing it through my arm, they gave me a poke on the finger and made special accommodations due to my fear of needles. My favorite thing about going was the staff was very friendly and they always took extra special care in me and my family. I love the entire staff up at Richland Memorial. (right next door to Palmetto Health Children's Hospital). Also, the staff at Palmetto Health Children's Hospital did a very good job with my epigastric hernia surgery, they knew I was terrified of needles and they gave me all types of calming relief such as a numbing cream, a tiny little prick in the top corner of my left hand, and they threaded the I.V. through my vein with out any fight or any crying. I will admit that I did whimper a bit but only because I was scared. I LOVE ALL OF THE STAFF SO MUCH! AND YALL DO AN AMAZING JOB!!! THANKS FOR TAKING CARE OF ME AND MY FAMILY FOR 19 YEARS <3

May God bless the compassionate people here that cared for Wyatt, his parents, family, and friends during his gift of life to others. I will always cherish the memory of how we sent him off through the hallways lined with staff on one side, and family on the other. My granddaughter is a patient at this hospital as of now she is been there many times and they kept her one night and send her home now this time they are keeping her .my daughter sleeping in the room and waking up with bite marks and look like them as well she tells them and they o we can't do anything about it .but this a messed up hospital
