There's a reason IV Solutions has so many 5 star ratings - they are the best ketamine infusion clinic in Chicago! I struggle with bipolar ii disorder. My cycles are very long (4 months of mania followed by 6 months of depression). The depression is the most debilitating with extreme brain fog, making it very hard to keep my head above water at work. I've even had to go on medical disability because of it. I heard about IV Solutions from a friend and flew all the way from San Francisco to Chicago for eight infusions over two weeks. Friends and family were skeptical but I told them this was my last straw. I couldn't continue to have six month depressions and keep a career. After the first week, I didn't feel anything and was deeply depressed and concerned that it wasn't working. I stayed in bed all week, didn't leave my hotel despite the amazing weather, and felt hopeless. But, after my fourth infusion, that weekend I finally woke up and said to myself - "wow, I feel better today." And then it was game on - I was touring the city on bike, visiting old friends, and felt such a relief from my depression. I can't recommend IV Solutions enough - the staff is amazing - so great that I even brought a giant cake for them on my last day to show my sincere gratitude for their kindness and services. The clinic is super clean and the front desk attendant is very accommodating with making appointments. One recommendation - bring your own music and headset and never use your phone during treatment. You should play music that you've never heard of - because it takes you on a journey of discovery. Dr. Bal recommended the artist Deuter - which was perfect. I recommend Deuter's album "Mirage". Close your eyes and embrace the journey. Also make sure to pee before the infusion!! I have a small bladder and even after going to the bathroom before the infusion (which by the way they have a very clean bathroom you can use), I always had to rush to the bathroom. Thank you Dr. Bal and team! I'll for sure be coming back for my boosters!

I am a changed person! This place was truly something I didn’t know I needed for fighting my depression and anxiety until I tried it. I feel renewed and have realized I no longer depend on my medicine to stabilize my mood. The staff were so diligent and caring, I felt so calm because of how well I was treated and how much they cared about my experience going well. After each appointment I had a micro verbal therapy session with the doctors and nurses to describe my feelings and give them my honest thoughts and feelings. They also scheduled me right away for my next session as recommended by the doctor. The whole process was so scary at first for me as I’ve never dealt with psychedelics, but after the first appointment I knew exactly what to expect and realized I was in extremely good hands here! Incredible and can’t wait to keep this up to take care of myself.

Without a doubt, ketamine has saved my life and continues to be an integral part of managing my depression. I have been a patient of Dr. Bal's for well over a year now and words can never express the gratitude I feel in my heart for the work of everyone at the clinic. A few years ago depression really took over my life, I was absolutely broken. The illness claimed my joy and was so debilitating that I had to leave my professional career. I was having thoughts of ending my life and my mere existence was too much to manage. I had strayed from everyone and everything I love, effectively an empty shell. SSRI meds weren't helping and I felt I had no way out. Within the first few treatments I felt incredible. I remember crying tears of joy the whole way home because I felt love and joy for myself in a way that had been completely lost. I have had upwards of 20 infusions since then and each one has been delightful and insightful. The experience of the infusion itself really asks of you to let go, to trust, and be your own witness. I have always felt safe and each session has felt different in its own way. It really is hard to explain but for me it has always been a sacred, healing and spiritual experience. For me it has been a direct link to the "one source" of energy. I have so much respect for the medicine and the compassionate professionals I've come to know and love. I am often asked how long it takes before you're "better" and I must say it is so extremely personal. Certainly I've felt better each time, however the real magic is the commitment you make to working on and loving yourself in the light of this life saving medicine. Diabetics require insulin to live, and I am happy to continue ketamine infusions as long as necessary. Much love always to Dr. Bal and the entire team for all that they do to bring awareness and momentum to mental health wellness. Without the Serenity Foundation I would have never been able to afford treatments, let alone reclaim my life in the way that I have. I am forever grateful, thank you.

I’ve been struggling with my mental illness since I was a teenager and decided to try ketamine infusion as advised by a friend and my therapist and wow where do I begin on how amazing my treatments have been going. I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I am finally able to function and have the energy and desire to do things again. It’s such a comforting place, I honestly feel like I am at home in my bed because it’s so serene. Having your own room is also a huge bonus because some clinics I looked into don’t offer that same luxury and let me tell you it makes a difference because having peace and quiet to yourself makes all the difference in enhancing your treatment and what you take away from it. Cannot wait to keep coming here for the rest of my treatments this place is a gem!

Incredible experience here! It was my first time trying ketamine infusion and the staff and atmosphere of this place made the experience so comfortable and enjoyable. I was certainly nervous at first, but the doctor and nurses answered all my questions and went above and beyond to make sure my infusions went smoothly and that I was feeling good about them. The clinic is so cozy as well and the reclining chairs, weighted blankets, and individual rooms with mood lighting and soothing music was so amazing and definitely improved the experience. I have struggled with depression and anxiety almost all my life and I leave the clinic with such a clear mindset and have slowly been coming off my medicine. They also check on you during the treatment just in case and even have their own spotify playlist of relaxing music for you to play through your headphones. Truly this place goes above and beyond to ensure you have a pleasant experience and continue treatment without having any fear or nervousness anymore. I am 4 sessions in and so pleased with how far I have come and can't believe I was not doing this sooner! Also, they have you answer a questionnaire before each session so you can see how much progress you're making. Could go on and on about this place it's life changing!

Thank you, Chicago IV Solutions & Serenity Foundation members, for the opportunity and hope given to me to have ketamine infusion therapy for Chronic Pain, C/PTSD, and Depression. I have never had quite this quick of decrease of depression symptoms before from any medical treatments, whether by medications or Electrical-Convulsive Treatments. I had an amazing experience with IV Solutions. It was my first time receiving Ketamine infusions and Dr. Panu and his whole team were very kind warm and caring. Cara and Citalli were both efficient at getting me checked in and put in a room right away. Citalli always answers any emails promptly with warmth and efficiency. After just one infusion I can already see a difference and I now know that this was the right decision for me. My experience with Dr Nandra and his staff has been nothing short of amazing. I was diagnosed with PTSD and major depressive disorder. I had crippling depression and terrible anxiety to the point where it affected all facets of my life. So, I went on a journey to find something that would help. I had tried SSRIs, EMDR, TMS, and CBT. Having a therapist helps, but then I then found Chicago IV solutions and started the Ketamine IV protocol. After my first treatment, I had already noticed a difference as far as how bad the depression could get. After the full treatment, I felt like a different person. I continue to get semi regular boosters to help. I then went to them for a procedure called SGB. It is for people who suffer from anxiety and PTSD. It is a quick procedure that your are sedated for and they focus on the nerve bundle in your neck that causes your anxiety. Once again, nothing short of amazing. I had the treatment which took about an hour and a half of my time. I woke up the next day, no anxiety, no shakiness, no pit in my stomach. I have gotten to know the staff that work there as well as the doctors and they are patient, understanding, and you can tell they just care about helping you through this. If you are suffering, please go see them. It will change your life.

It's going to sound like an exaggeration, but this treatment and the kindness / support shown by Dr. Nandra, Dr. Pannu, Zoe, Lalli, and the whole incredible team has been life changing. My experience with IV Solution ketamine therapy surpassed my expectations more than I could have imagined! Before going here I called around and found that the prices are in line with other clinics in the city. This clinic is a short walk from where I live and had authentic heartfelt success stories, so I went with them. I am SO glad I decided to go with getting treatment here. The first step was a phone consultation with with Dr. Nandra. I was immediately comfortable due to his subject knowledge and demeanor. Both he and the other Dr. are good vibes- knowledgeable, attentive and kind. They were very careful in monitoring my vitals, dosage, and making adjustments to dosage each session based on my feedback and their expertise. They take your individual treatment very seriously and each session you complete multiple assessments so they can track your symptoms each time. The Nurses are so friendly and very skilled at starting the IVs. The front desk staff remembered my name from day 1 and always work with my crazy schedule to find good time slots for my treatments. I always feel safe, comfortable, and welcome in their environment. And the results!? Miracle medicine. I have noticed such an improvement in my life, my outlook is lighter and brighter, and my mental health and well being are in good shape for the first time in years. My mind no longer goes to that really dark painful place. Total relief. I did the initial 6 sessions and a follow up booster 2 weeks later, now I will go monthly but will play it by ear depending on how I feel and my symptom scores. People I am close to have noticed a difference in me and have commented or asked what I did. I recommend ketamine therapy to everyone and for Chicagoans, if you want the best care, look no further.

Was part of a study. My first and only visit wasn't what I excepted. Place was nice, nurse was and the man that administered whatever I was getting was fine too. During whatever I was getting was quiet and I felt relax. But sadly I was not told when I was picked how long the treatment was nor what to except. I was told right before the drip started it would be about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once I heard that I was concerned but thought let's see. Once it was done the man came back in removed the IV asked if I wanted water and said I could leave when I'm ready. Well I didn't feel well, not stable, little dizzy and little nausea. I sat maybe a 10 minutes and thought I must go tried that twice. I didn't like at all how I felt nor that there wasn't anyone checking on me especially when I left. Front staff was gone. To feel this way and walk the streets of Chicago made me very concerned. Got to my car still not feeling stable and sat in my car for another 30 minutes. I was so concerned how my driving would be especially since I had a 50 minute drive home. Once I got home I still didn't feel good so called the office and cancelled all my remaining appointments and even emailed the point of contact . Never got a call nor an email response. Think if I would of been told one how long the treatments are and potential feeling I might of reconsider this. Lack of communication and my well being especially leaving and driving is very concerning.

Dr. Nandra and his staff are absolute angels in my opinion. They have completely changed my life and my teenage son's life. Their kind, compassionate care coupled with their knowledge, competency and skill are unmatched. I tried a different Ketamine Center due to the convenience of it's location and got to see first hand the difference in how I felt after treatments. Dr. Nandra does not use a one size fits all titration method....he caters the dosage and treatment on an individual basis and he absolutely does not stop until he has met perfection with the treatment. My son was 15 and suicidal for years before we found Dr. Nandra. My son now has zero suicidal ideation and feels like a new person. He is enjoying his teenage years with a positive outlook and he no longer has depression. I called Dr. Nandra in desperation to help my son and he called me immediately and spent a long time on the phone with me sharing his knowledge and experience. I was nervous for my 15 year old to start Ketamine and my fears were completely gone after the phone call. I suffer from PTSD and thought there was no hope for me...until I met Dr. Nandra. I’ve been going to this clinic for ketamine infusions for over a year now. I was referred by NAMI and had an initial intake with Dr. Nandra. Everything went smoothly and everyone at the clinic was very kind and supportive. Ketamine, in collaboration with my outpatient team of providers, meditation, consistent medication, and processing trauma, has allowed me to be effective, maintain stability, and to find joy. Since early adolescence my identity has always been “cutter,” “crazy,” and “addict.” I have learned that I may have these parts inside me but truly I am just Kristen. A human being. Ketamine has led me on a journey of rediscovering my soul. Of having space between my thoughts and actions, where I can choose differently and I have the ability to use effective skills. Dr. Pannu is the best doctor I have ever had. He actually listens to me and he looks me in the eyes when I talk to him. He remembers what I say and is genuinely invested in my treatment. I have struggled with male providers my whole life, as I have trauma related to men, but Dr. Pannu showed me that not all men cause harm. I am truly grateful for this clinic and the support they provide, including a Serenity Foundation to help people like me be able to afford treatment. I’ve had 4 weekly NAD+ infusions to date and have felt great! The treatments started off a little uncomfortable for me (head pressure and chest tingling) but I’ve found that if I eat a small/ medium meal right before the infused I feel much better. As soon as the drip stops you feel back to normal, only better- and that feeling increases over the next few days. My mood and motivation have improved dramatically. Staff is excellent and always happy to answer questions. Looking forward to continuing treatment.

I just recently completed my 10th treatment. I had the initial 6 and then 4 supplemental treatments after. All I can say is that they have changed my life. I am a very busy professional who never had "time" to take care of his own mental health. I went years with suffering and only looked for help after I started to expand my family. It was a saving grace. When I started treatments in January of 2021 my physical health was not good. I just had a heart issue and was having some issues with my colon as well. The treatment made it possible for me to get through the everyday stuff to then focus on my overall health. Dr. Nandar and his staff are unbelievably good. Dr. Nandar responded to all my questions in a very timely manner. Dr. Nandar and his staff talked me through each treatment and what I should expect. I also worked with his office to get an SGB shot in my neck to help with my PTSD symptoms. I no longer wake up in the middle of the night with my heart racing and when I feel a panic attack about to come on it is nice to know my flight/fight response won't put me into a full downward spiral. I can't recommend this treatment enough. It really has given me my quality of life back that I was missing for over 10 years. Wow! Last week I had two NAD+ infusions and must say it was quite amazing. I am someone who is generally pretty high energy so I didn’t notice a huge change in my energy levels but I immediately noticed a drastic change in the way I was thinking. It’s tough to be able to describe the difference because it’s an intangible experiential difference, but things just were clearer and more concise for sure. I am also someone who is generally pretty sound and I’m pretty lucid in my dreams but I had by far the most lucid dream of my life this past week. The team at the clinic is extremely friendly and made me feel very comfortable and I cannot recommend this treatment highly enough. A+!!!

For me, the current pandemic has become an opportunity to focus on the betterment of myself. Physical health has always been important to me. Mental health, on the other hand, while equally important, has been an up and down struggle for a majority of my life. Social anxiety, which has lead to occasional bouts of depression, has persisted for most of my life. I've learned to cope with my anxiety for the most part. Unfortunately, however, my coping mechanisms often consisted of self medication with alcohol and the occasional use of marijuana. Needless to say, self medication is not the answer and has often lead to additional obstacles, all the while with my anxiety remaining as a limiting factor in my life. Enter IV Solutions. I've just completed my initial treatment and the impact it has already had on my life is quite simply...remarkable. I hadn't before realized just how withdrawn I had become nor the negative toll my withdrawn behavior has had on my personal well-being. As I write this, it brings a tear of joy to my eye thinking about the connectedness I'm able to feel once again through my conversations with others. I no longer feel distant. And the best part, I no longer feel the need to self medicate. In fact, I've had nothing but positive feelings, a renewed sense of ambition and self confidence that has me avoiding any substance I feel might take it all away from me again. Are ketamine treatments the answer? Honestly, I really don't know just yet. It still seems much to early to proclaim anything. It certainly has been a step in the right direction for me, though. And I've had more positive results (and thus far longer lasting) in a shorter frame of time than I've had in the past with other SSRI and anti-anxiety medications. The goal is obviously long-term, lasting effects rather than a dependence or crutch, so to speak. To conclude, I cannot begin to express my gratitude to the kind, warm, and patient staff of IV Solutions. Everyone has been so genuinely caring and have always expressed the utmost concern for my comfort during each visit. The interactions with the staff alone are enough to leave anyone feeling like they've been blessed with their own personal ray of sunshine.

My experience with IV Solutions in Chicago was nothing but exceptional. I thought I would be walking into a hospital like clinic but it was not like that at all. The environment is more spa like. My first contact was with Maribel who not only greeted me but patiently answered any of my questions. I was more thrilled to have been taken in on time and my appointments have all ran smooth. I got a NAD+ infusion here 2 weeks ago and immediately felt its benefits. My mood, concentration and energy was boosted. It’s almost as if all my senses were heightened. My mother heard about this on the radio and convinced me to go, it’s been a year now and I can’t even recognize myself anymore. The person I was a year ago had tried medications upon medications, been in therapy and in and out of hospitals since I was 12, I had PTSD, Anxiety, Borderline Personality Disorder and Major Depression and was struggling with recovering from an eating disorder and nothing seemed to be getting better. Two years ago I first heard about Dr. Bal Nandra and the IV Solution/Ketamine Center. My 30 year old son has battled suicidal ideology, depression, anxiety, OCD and PTSD since he was a teenager. Recent personal struggles resulted in him feeling like he was really done living. Two weeks ago, in a panic to save my son's life, I contacted IV Solution. Dr. Nandra personally responded within an hour. Today is his 6th treatment. I haven't seen my son so full of light in more than a decade. I have hope for the first time in many, many years. Finding IV Solution for this military veteran was the opportunity to find purpose in life again after so many unsuccessful attempts to find a solution to PTSD, major depression and anxiety. My journey for this quest had been a long and unsuccessful history of USG and private sector treatments and medications that spanned more than a decade. Some very good professionals tried but, unfortunately, to no avail for me. None seemed to work from anti-depressants, the full spectrum of psychiatric treatment modalities, to TMS, CES, acupuncture, etc. I tried them all without any appreciable success and some times they made the problems worse. I read about Ketamine therapy for depression and researched it thoroughly but was reluctant about being disappointed, again. Finally, I selected IV Solutions in Chicago.This was a very fateful decision. Towards the end of the initial beginning 2 week protocol of infusions, I felt a significant change that opened the door for finally finding something to relieve my problems. Dr. Nandra and his team of physicians, nurses, and reception staff have been simply miraculous. Their caring, patience, personal, and professional attributes make this center a place for hope and happiness for those of us who have suffered emotional difficulty in our military careers. Obviously, we are all different and we respond differently to treatment. I began treatment in late 2018 and receive occasional booster treatments. I have referred others, like me for this treatment at IV Solution and they have been thankful. My personal thanks to the Medical Director Dr. Nandra, Dr. Pannu, Shannon, and of course to Maribel who always greets with a smile and facilitates everything in such a wonderful manner. I was struggling with so much chronic pain before coming to Dr. Nandra. Damage from a brain injury and the subsequent treatment for it left my occipital nerve (that runs up the back of my neck on the right side) in constant agony... I couldn’t even lay down to sleep like a normal human being because of the pain. It got to the point where I was in so much pain, I didn’t want to be alive anymore. The last nice Fall day (weather wise at least) of 2020, I sat at Pratt Beach, in the park, watching the leaves and enjoying the breeze on my face, feeling like an old dog who has gone off alone to die. Except I didn’t die. The pain just kept right on going (and I could see no other way to make it stop). I couldn’t understand why I’d been left alive like this, it didn’t make sense to still be alive if I was only going to feel pain. But then I was referred to Dr. Nandra. When I got the referral, I didn’t want it... the idea of ketamine therapy sounded strange. All I’d ever heard was that kids at raves took it (not really the sort of thing for me). I even told my nurse case manager I didn’t want it and I wasn’t going. But then my inner nerd got curious, and I looked up some research on it... it had been used as a safe anesthesia for a long time, it was great at helping treatment-resistant depression, it had really robust and promising results at treating chronic pain, including CRPS (chronic regional pain syndrome), which wasn’t what I had, but sounded similar in terms of unreasonable amounts of pain, with an outlook equally bleak and devastating. It was even effective against suicidal ideation! So I went to the appointment. When I finally got it out and shared that I felt like the pain was so bad I no longer wanted to live, Dr. Nandra was extraordinarily kind, and explained that my suicidal ideation was yet another way for my brain and body to express the pain it was in. He was also incredibly reassuring and confident that I could be helped. The initial treatment and the follow up interval is different for everyone. For me, I had 5 infusions in 7 days, a boost a couple weeks later, and now I only go in once every five weeks (and am hopeful my interval will grow in time, and that one day I won’t even need it anymore!). The infusions themselves are a little strange (the medicine makes me feel a bit disconnected) but interesting and helpful to my mental state, and personally it takes me a day or two to recover (chronic pain requires bigger infusions than depression alone). But the RESULTS !!! It took some time for my pain to go almost fully away (apparently it’s much faster for depression and less severe chronic pain), but that made sense to me, as my pain was so bad it was causing me to wish for death. I’m so grateful to Dr. Nandra and his associates and staff, they honestly gave me back my life, a life I thought was over. Words cannot properly express my gratitude, there aren’t enough thank yous to thank you, but thank you, thank you, thank you anyway. Without you, I didn’t want to live; and with your help I’m now able to function, and even more, enjoy (!) my life.

I was at the lowest of the low with no hope, etc. I firmly believe this has helped me with stretch resistance, which is how one bounces back after something, say, angers someone. While I’m still struggling it’s only because I’m still in treatment. I recommend this to anyone who doesn’t have any hope. Also, the doctors and staff are great there. I, too, came from Colorado. After reading the other review, I didn’t know it was cheaper. With this said: I believe once I feel back to my old self there is no price one could pay for this as it’s priceless!
