I went in for a belly button hernia. I have never had a surgery in my life so easy to say I was a tad bit nervous. This staff is beyond comforting. They listened to me, answered any questions and treated me like I was their only patient. They are kind and have a wonderful sense of humor and made it seem I was at a spa not just getting surgery. They are humble and yet the utmost professional. My surgery went smooth and the nurses in post op were beyond amazing since I had some after effects from anesthesia. They just rolled with it and were extremely attentive. I highly, highly recommend this small, cute and very friendly and professional surgery center.

Awesome experience with my surgery! All staff that assisted me were friendly, knowledgeable, informative and caring. Easy parking/drop off area and the facility is nice, clean, and comfortable. I received a thank you card in the mail with the specific staff members who took care of me signing it. Thought that was pretty cool and thoughtful. I'm a 35 year old who received a muscle tear repair surgery. Surgery was successful and recovering well. Thank you!

Treasure Valley Hospital runs like a well-oiled machine! They are so very organized, thorough, professional, caring and competent. Everyone that works there is a pleasure to be around. They treat patients like we are their #1 priority. Patients don't get "lost in the shuffle", since all they do is corrective surgery! The hospital also telephoned our home the very next day after surgery to check on the patient and see if we were having any questions or concerns that they could help with! Then about 2 days later, we received a hand-signed card with greetings from all the people that were in charge of my care! WOW, how cool is that? Our family has used them at 3 times, for different operations, and have been 100% satisfied EVERY time! Do not hesitate to use them over the other choices in the valley. If Treasure Valley Hospital can handle what we need for surgery, we will never go to another hospital over them! They are the best!

From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed and cared for. The office staff, nursing staff and Doctors all took a personal interest in me and what I was going through. They answered all my questions walked me through the procedure made me feel relaxed and at ease. I have had surgery in the past but felt like just another case, not so here. They called the day before to check up on me and the day after to see how I was doing, not just the office but the nurses and doctor as well. If I could give 10 stars I would. I highly recommend Treasure Valley Hospital and if I ever have to have Surgery again, I hope it's there. Thank you for your care and dedication to your patients.

I picked my surgeon because he was part of the Treasure Valley Hospital team. In the last decade two of my kids had their tonsils removed and I’ve had nasal surgery there. My recent procedure also did not disappoint. From check in to discharge I was given the royal treatment. Everything was explained to me perfectly with opportunity for questions. They helped me out with any crazy requests that I had. I also got a new pair of yellow socks. Even though I had them on before surgery, I was so excited about my yellow socks coming out of anesthesia. The reminded me of duck feet so I took a picture and shared it on Facebook. The recovery nurse was so kind enough to listen to me sing the baby duck song. I generally don’t advocate surgery as a regular pastime, but I must say it was a great place to spend my day. Enjoy the picture of my yellow socks. (Not everyone gets yellow, they save the yellow socks for important guests.)

I’ve had two knee surgeries at this facility now. In both cases, I never met a single person who worked there who wasn’t polite, professional and personable. Employees seem to enjoy their work and be good at their jobs. Maybe it’s because it’s doctor-owned, or maybe it’s because it’s outpatient only - doesn’t matter, if you’re the patient you will be treated right at Treasure Valley. I would go back there and regularly recommend it to family and friends. Well done and thanks!

The care from the pre-admission staff to the outpatient nursing and all other staff deserves far better than a 5 star review. I have had two spinal surgeries at Treasure Valley Hospital and both experiences were as pleasant as possible. The staff to patient ratio is impressive, both day and night. A press of the call button brings someone to your bedside immediately. Both times I was back home in two days, due, I think, the the extraordinary care i received. I had a total knee replacement 3 weeks ago at this hospital. It was an amazing experience! The staff and nurses were amazing! Very caring and friendly. Dr. Holley and staff did a superb job on my knee. What a change from the big hospitals! The place is definitely top shelf!

I went in for a shoulder release. The nurses were so friendly,. I felt like family not just another patient. They were very attentive and thorough. Dr. Lynch is a great doctor. He is very people oriented. Easy to talk to. Communicates very well. I was shown a picture of my problem and explained how it would be fixed. I showed up and swear I was home in less than four hours. I would definitely use this hospital again and recommend Dr. Lynch and his cohorts to any of my family and friends.

I was very pleased with the care I received at Treasure Valley Hospital when I had surgery there on 10/13/22. Each member of the staff that I interacted with, from check-in to check-out, were professional, friendly, kind, very helpful, thoughtful, and encouraging. This was my first experience with surgery where I had to stay overnight and I couldn't have been treated with more respect and care. I am hoping that it will be some time or never before I have to have surgery again but, if I do, I will definitely choose to return to Treasure Valley Hospital.

The entire experience was great. I had a hip replaced several years ago at a local hospital. I ended up sitting by myself in a very cold room with no music, no tv, and no phone for several hours waiting for anesthesia and surgery. Not only was the wait short but I was able to keep my phone up until they were ready to roll me into the or. Staff were totally amazing. Everyone was super friendly, very informative, and truly seemed to care about everyone. Not easy when they had more than a full patient load today. Would always choose TV Hospital when possible.

Scheduled quickly, smooth day of surgery from check in to discharge. Staff was top notch. Made my teenager feel comfortable. When I told them she gets nauseated easily I felt they took my concerns seriously and gave her extra meds. Didn't get sick once. Would definitely use this hospital again!

Treasure Valley Hospital is the best place to go if you're having surgery. I recently had surgery there and was so impressed by the friendliness and care of everyone at the facility. The nursing staff is incredible, always there to assist answering any questions that you might have, and providing excellent care.

My Dad had a hip replacement yesterday and from start to finish everyone and everything was wonderful. The staff was more than accommodating and informative throughout the day. I would recommend anyone that (unfortunately) needs this type of surgery look at Treasure Valley Hospital as your number one choice.

Dr Hajjar did my surgery and my pain is completely gone! The only pain I have is from the surgery area but it’s only been 2 days. I’m sure that will go away in time. Thank you for being great people! Having to be in the hospital is stressful enough but staff and nurses make it as enjoyable as possible. I wish I could remember everyone’s name, I’d give everyone that helped me a shout out! :)

I would give 10 stars but there’s only 5 to give. The entire process of my back surgery from start to finish was exceptional. I showed up at 5am on a Tuesday and went home at noon the day after. The staff was professional, empathetic and it was easy to see that they enjoy working for the hospital. Even the food was great and that says a lot about their focus on the details. To top it off I received a personally signed card from all the staff a few days later thanking me for choosing their facility. Top Notch people, processes and business.

I had hernia repair surgery here two weeks ago (with Dr. Steven Williams). Their entire staff and Dr. Williams were awesome! My surgery went well and they followed up with me several times to make sure I was recovering smoothly. I highly recommend this hospital!

5 star all the way! I’ve had my share of hospital stays and Treasure Vally Hospital put them all to shame. Every single person I encountered was helpful and above all, happy. No grouchy stressed out employees, people were smiling and they appeared to love their jobs. My surgeon, anesthesiologist, all the nurses and CNA’s I encountered embodied the “I love my job and I’m happy” vibe. I found out later it is a Doctor owned hospital and maybe that’s why. Things were definitely run differently than any other hospital I’ve been in. And the food- don’t even get me started. I had a flourless chocolate cake for dessert one night and an amazing egg skillet breakfast with my choice of ingredients the next morning. If you have to be in the hospital- this is where you want to be! A stress free experience and you will heal faster- it’s a fact!

If you have to have surgery in the Treasure Valley, this is the place to be!! From check in to leaving the staff is incredible, the nurse to patient ratio is 3:1 and when I was there for 3 days it was 1:1. The food is better than most Boise restaurants. Clean, Organized, CARING. Thank You. T.V.H.

I’ve had two different procedures done at Treasure Valley in the last 4 weeks. This last experience, well the only way I can describe it was I was in a really good mood and my post op nurse, I believe Amanda, anyway she made it fun. She was very kind and it was almost like talking to someone I’d known a lifetime and it was awesome, because then it was lights out and then I opened my eyes and there she was right there helping me so I could go. So my experience, everyone I met that day was awesome. However ( Amanda, and if that isn’t her name then please give this credit the young lady who was there) went above and beyond what she did and I want her to know it’s appreciated. I’ve had several medical issues for the last 6 years, and I have seen more doctors, had more procedures, the list could go on. I’ve also had a lot on RNs and assistance etc. The nurse I had was by far the best and I just want her recognized for making it a good experience for me. I was scheduled for a total left knee replacement on August 25th. Every single staff member I encountered prior to my actual surgery date was very polite, personable, friendly and thorough. This included the pre-admittance appointment, the pre-op class, the check-in the morning of my surgery and every single visit to my room prior to and after surgery. This is the best hospital for a surgical procedure! This is what their main focus is and they are all very good at their jobs! I was in good hands from start to finish!

Great facility and staff--most of the best surgeons in the valley have left the tyrannical TV hospitals to practice here. However, it is time to drop the mask mandate (masks are largely political theater at this point so time to move on). Most of your doctors practice evidence based medicine--time for the administration to follow that model and reject this non-evidence based rule.

It is my pleasure to highly recommend Treasure Valley Hospital. I can't say enough good things about this facility. The staff are all employees, unlike the big health centers in town that are staffed almost entirely by traveling staff. My husband was in one of the local hospitals this summer, and it was no use to press the call button because no one would answer it; I would usually have to take care of it myself or go out on the floor to find someone to come to his room. At TVH, the call button was answered promptly and they were always pleased to help; they did not act as if they were too busy or inconvenienced. I was never talked down to and I received thorough explanations when I asked questions. I felt heard and listened to if I had a concern. The doctor contacted my husband immediately after surgery, and the hospital called the next day to see how I was doing. In other words, they did everything they said they would do from beginning to end, and we were always treated with great kindness and professionalism. Although I don't remember the names of the many wonderful and competent people who took care of me from pre-op appointments to discharge, I appreciate them all very much. I don't think you could go wrong using TVH!

Small and private, Treasure Valley Hospital was a great alternative to a big commercial hospital. From check in through pre-op and surgery through recovery and discharge I had a first class experience during my procedure in November 2022. Having any type of surgical procedure can often leave a patient feeling alone and vulnerable, but during my stay, everyone at TVH was attentive and kind. Doctors, nurses, and staff were top notch communicators, keeping my fiancé updated throughout my procedure, which was very important to us both. Overall, TVH is filled with total professionals who are well trained at delivering excellent customer service in a very intimate setting. Thank you

I recently had shoulder surgery at Treasure Valley Hospital, from the time that I entered the hospital I was treated expertly by all staff personnel, with teams who focus solely on the patient they have been assigned. This allows them to be more efficient in the treatment and TVH also has the lowest rate of infections after surgery.

I’m not new to surgeries, unfortunately I’ve had several back surgeries. So I can say I’ve been to several local hospitals in my life. This last back surgery and my previous surgeries have been done by Dr Hajjar. You can’t find a better Doctor than Dr Hajjar, I’ve been blessed to have him do my surgeries. He recommended Treasure Valley Hospital, it was definitely a 5 star hospital, the staff was great and the food was unbelievable, I wish I could of spent another week or so their. I had surgery here for a meniscus repair tear, all my hospital staff nursing care were awesome Mitzi, Britney to name a couple sorry if I can’t remember all their names 🥰 My anesthesiologist was fantastic my doctor Dr. Smith out of West Idaho orthopedics was amazing. The only person that wasn’t a very nice person was the M.A. Rachel she was snooty and had an attitude, she wasn’t very nice to the patient’s and never smiled once, she needs to be more comforting towards people in pre-admission testing. I would totally come back for any other procedures . I may have to have in the future. A great big thank you to all at Tressure Valley Hospital🥰

I just spent two nights here after a scary spine fusion surgery. First, they take infection SERIOUSLY. They are physician owned, they don't want problems bc it comes out of their pockets! They treat you like GOLD, b/c you ARE to them! Every person I interacted with from beginning (Carolyn at check-in) to end and even in-between (the food here is over the top amazing and I am a former restaurant owner- I know quality) was professional but friendly and helpful. Their staff love working here- I asked everyone I met! Probably because their bosses aren't drinking the Kool-Aid going down at our state hospitals. They are also treated with respect and happy to be there! I had some pretty intense moments after my surgery which went perfectly smooth- just in dealing with my pain. My main RN, Jalene (God Bless this woman!) listened to me and did everything in her power to make me comfortable immediately. I did not ever wait for ANYTHING. She showed up on time for pain meds, she propped as many pillows as it took to help me sleep, she talked to me and I'd like to think became my friend. They strive for consistancy in care, meaning they try to give you the same nursing staff throughout your stay and they came through on that for me. This is a small hospital that is MIGHTY in it's mission. I'm done with state hospitals if I can at all be. This is the GOLD standard.

I was referred to Dr Johans after four neurosurgeons reviewed my medical test results and confirmed I had a severe complicated cervical spine that required surgery. Dr Johans reviewed my MRI and other test results, asked me a lot of questions and performed more tests in his office and then explained all the results. It was a lot of information and Dr Johans explained all of it clearly and thoroughly. I knew immediately that I wanted Dr Johans to be my surgeon. The surgery, Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF) was preformed at Treasure Valley Hospital. The entire hospital experience from admissions, preop, surgery, post-op and spending one night is the recovery ward was done by very professional and caring staff that was always available when I needed something. The following day prior to discharge, Dr Johans and the nursing staff gave me directions on taking medications and home medical procedures. I highly recommend both Dr. Johans and Treasure Valley Hospital.

I had a surgery that was more extensive and complicated than expected, but Dr. Chopp and his nursing staff were more than accommodating. They clearly explained the plan and walked us through each step, step by step. They were very attentive to both my needs and those of my fiancé. Nurse Rachel took the time tp listen to all my concerns and addressed them all, she gave clear and detailed discharge instruction and what to expect at home and what to do in case of an emergency.She made me feel at easy and that I was in good hands! Yesterday was my first experience with Treasure Valley Hospital. I was nervous as this was my first major surgery. The nerves went away quickly when I met the staff that would be helping me. First, I can't say enough good about my Pre-Op nurse Ivy!! She was very thorough and very nice. Her IV skills were top notch. As you sit and wait all you can do is listen to the staff interact with each other and they all seem to be happy to be at work. As most of the world struggles to find employees that is not the case here. Dr. Gay was also top notch, he was my surgeon and very good at what he does. He takes steps to make sure you are as comfortable as can be all the way through recovery. He is younger than I originally though he would be but maybe it's just because I'm getting old. I would recommend Treasure Valley Hospital for your next surgery as they will be getting my business from here out. Thank you, all of you for all of your awesome work.

The professionalism and care given during both procedures was nothing less than top shelf. The reception people, admitting department, nursing staff, doctors, even the food from the kitchen was fantastic. I had shoulder/arm surgery with Dr Lynch last month and my experience at Treasure Valley Hospital was a great experience due to my nurse. I get pre surgery anxiety and my nurse did a fantastic job of helping me through that. I do wish that they would just allow a family member to sit by the patients side while they go through the lengthy process before the actual surgery. I understand the concerns with COVID and germs, but surgery is a big deal and is scary to some people (me). The rest of the staff was outstanding, as well, but my nurse was top notch and I am so sorry I can't remember her name!

From the minute I walked in I felt taken care of and heard. The whole process went so smooth and all the staff I encountered where all friendly and loved what they are doing. I spent 2 night in the hospital and the nurses there where amazing! If your thinking about getting a surgery done, don’t look any further. In my opinion TVH is the best in Idaho.

Cream of the crop care! I cannot adequately express how incredibly grateful I am for the care I received from all staff at Treasure Valley Hospital last month. My surgery went well and staff were right there every time I needed them. The care, compassion and kindness of the entire team made my stay very safe and comfortable. This was the best hospital visit I have ever had. All of the staff were very pleasant and courteous from the moment I walked into the door. Anything I wanted they responded to immediately while treating me with dignity and respect. The level of service they performed made me feel more like a VIP in a high end resort than a patient at a hospital. Everything was top notch, beginning to end. When I told them I was ready to discharge they crafted everything around me and coordinated it to my schedule. Also, I just want to say that the food was on another level. I have consumed a lot of hospital food over the years and I can tell you that I have never had any that I wanted to come back and eat. I have been thinking of the next surgery that I will need and I will definitely be scheduling it at Treasure Valley Hospital so that I can eat there again. If you have any treatment done there and you don't get the tater tots you are doing yourself a great disservice. The best I have ever had. If you are having any kind of surgery done and your doctor is not affiliated with Treasure Valley Hospital, then find another doctor who is. Best experience I ever had at a hospital at half of the cost.

I recently underwent a hernia surgery at the Treasure Valley Hospital. I wanted to write this review because I was so impressed with the high level of care and professionalism of the staff at this facility. To be brief, everyone was amazing. I felt that I had a level of care and attention which would only be possible in a small facility. Also, I personally feel that avoiding a hospital is a good idea for minor surgery because there is less exposure to the general level of infection which naturally occurs in a public hospital. (Again, this is my personal opinion). In conclusion, I had a great experience at Treasure Valley Hospital. I would recommend it to friends and family.

Having had the unfortunate need to be admitted for several surgeries over the past 11 years, I have had many out patient to 4 day stays. I have had experience with 4 different surgery centers to hospitals in the valley. The larger the facility, unfortunately the worse the experience. Treasure Valley Hospital treated me on two occasions with outstanding service both times. Their service is completely patient centered from admission to room care. Their staff and nurses have the best attitude I have ever experienced, which is saying a lot given the usual care elsewhere, where you have to bring a family member along just to see that you get the care needed. The staff seems very experienced and knowledgeable, and go out of their way to see that you are comfortable. Best yet, their food is great and they always make sure you never go hungry. I've heard the hospital is doctor owned, and if so, it explains a lot about why their care is so different. Kevin Glenn Update 12/7/20 Just had two more outpatient surgeries in the past month. Same as always, the care is the best. My recoveries are fantastic, and the staff is positive and helpful. Good thing I chose to have my surgeries done here in the year of covid, as the other hospitals shut down elective surgeries.

She was a total professional but yet down to earth person that new how to make one feel at ease. After the surgery i had to spend a night there and John (RN) was my nurse for the night. Fantastic staff, nurses and an amazing sports medicine doctor, Dr. Miller, who repaired my torn meniscus yesterday at Treasure Valley Hospital. Simply the best of the best in terms of patient care and support. Excellent service rendered by all that I encountered from the receptionist, to Kellie the admin specialist, Lauren who took me back to the OR, Patty the best nurse I have ever encountered in any military or civilian hospital, the pit crew that wheeled me into surgery, along with the awesome anesthesia Doctor, Dr. Pierce and of course Dr Miller and a wonderful male nurse that greeted me back in the recovery room. Dr. Miller was spot on in her diagnosis and had me sewn back up in short order. Dr. Miller also ensured my husband was kept up to date during the entire process and even had a PT appointment on the books for this Friday. Simply star treatment from a highly skilled and genuinely caring combined patient care team. I could not have asked for a better patient experience. Hands down the best medical care I have ever had rendered from a hospital including the presidents hospital in Bethesda MD where I had my first knee surgery while on active duty. Dr. Miller and her support staff at Treasure Valley Hospital should be commended for a job well done! Again patient first treatment from a first class medical facility. I had cervical fusion surgery done in early December at Treasure Valley Hospital. My experience from beginning to end was extraordinary. Every person I met from the front desk lady to the nurses that checked me in to the surgeon, anesthesiologist, nurses, assistants, etc were all very professional and thorough. I awoke to kind faces that spent the next 24 hours treating me like the Queen of Sheba. My care was second to none in this small 14 bed hospital. The staff to patient ratio is very small, so you get immediate attention. Every nurse, every assistant gave compassionate care. Every person who had a hand in my operation came by at some time or another to talk to me. I would only hope the next time I have to go for any type of surgery, that I would have the opportunity to go to Treasure Valley Hospital. Oh..... I forgot to mention that their food was exceptionally good, obviously all homemade and high quality. They told me they were able to do that with such a small facility. That was an unexpected bonus. All in all, I am very happy that my Doctor used this facility, and have nothing but good things to say about it.

Just had hand surgery at Treasure Valley earlier this week with Dr. Watkins, and it was a good experience all around. (I would say "great experience", but I don't know anyone who really likes surgery!) My impressions were clean, efficient, professional and caring. I wish I could remember the names of all the caregivers, but they all were everything a patient hopes for. I would not hesitate to go back someday if need required.

The facility is beautiful. The atmosphere is calm. The employees are welcoming. The paperwork was well communicated so I didn't have to repeat information. The pre-surgical process was efficient but not hectic or rushed. The OR was state of the art. The anesthesia was gentle. The recovery nurse was patient with my repeated questions. The hospital room and bed were very comfortable. The staff (RN, Nurses aide, PT) were kind and attentive. The food was good. Although I believe hospitalization should be avoided, I found myself tempted to stay longer.

Had shoulder replacement surgery on 12/13/21. I did get off to a bit of a slow start as my surgery start was delayed a couple of hours due to a patient getting sick in the OR. Overall though the team at TVH took very good care of me. In particular I want to compliment my pre-op nurses, Alyson (I hope that is spelled correctly) and Mary. I also really want to thank the post-op nurses, Jalene and Tina. I had a rough time coming out of the anesthesia, and they were very caring and helpful in my recovery. All of these amazing women truly have giving, care-taking hearts and I want to give my thanks to them for helping to make a tough experience as enjoyable as possible.

My last surgery was a month ago spinal, C2- C7 disc removal and fusion. I went back to work early!! On 12/6/21, had a total knee replacement at TVH by Dr. Jared Armstrong. The experience I had at TVH was 180 degrees better than when I had my first knee replacement 7 years ago at a different hospital. TVH pre training was excellent, all the staff I worked with were kind, responsive and caring. Unlike my first knee replacement, I was able to go home the same day of surgery instead of staying two nights and being heavily drugged up. That was awesome because like most people I dislike being overnight in a hospital. They also called me the morning after surgery to see how I was doing. Wow! I also really appreciated that TVH only gave me the pain medication I needed and did not try to “stay ahead of the pain”. I highly, highly recommend TVH! Thank you and excellent work!

In November of 2021 I had my second surgery at this facility. I also have worked in health care. I have been thoroughly impressed with the pre-op area and surgical team. Going in I felt well informed and knowledgeable about my procedure. My post op experience was a little lacking. I did not receive information regarding over the counter meds I needed to get or practices that I needed to adhere too until I got my post-op phone call 3 days later. This would not deter me from using this facility again but I am just a little disappointed. I greatly appreciate my Doctor and his staff.

During my stay at Treasure Valley Hospital I was treated with respect from the moment I stepped in the door until I was wheeled out the door! My procedure was on time and quick, but experienced some issues in recovery, which required me to stay for many unplanned hours. My nurse, Suzanne stayed with me hours after her scheduled time off. She stated that she wanted to make sure that I had consistent care and that I felt that I could depend on her. Treasure valley hospital was wonderful! We were in and out of surgery with our 4 year old in under 3 hours. They took care for him to have his comfort items and see us as soon as he started waking up. They had a nice private area with recliners for him to sit in my lap. Their anesthesiologist had experience with children. Their staff was up front about cost estimates and due dates before surgery. While no one wants surgery, this is a fantastic place to go if you need it!

I arrived at Treasure Valley Hospital at 6 am this morning. My tonsillectomy was scheduled for 7:30. They were very prompt and on time. I was very nervous, this being my first surgery of any sort at the age of 27. They were reassuring about the anesthesia, as well as very clear about what to expect during my recovery. The gentleman that drew my blood was kind and apologized when the needle stung a bit being pulled out. I had no poor reactions with the anesthesia thankfully but when I woke I was very chatty and kind of emotional. I felt a bit bad for the nurse that stayed with me after waking up, Rachel, for her having to listen to my life story, but she was extremely kind and I was so very glad to have her as my attending nurse in the immediate post-op recovery. She didn't make me feel embarrassed or uncomfortable whatsoever. She was very understanding and continued to reassure me. I had a wonderful experience at this clinic and would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you Dr. Beasley and team!!!

Over the last 6 years, I've had three surgeries performed at TVH. Under all three circumstances, the professionalism, expertise, and friendliness of the entire staff, from janitorial staff all the way up to the surgeons and their assistants has been outstanding. During this Covid outbreak, I have felt extremely safe and well protected. I would highly recommend this place to anyone for any procedure, in fact, I have another surgery scheduled for the first week of April and in actually looking forward to it!

Had lumbar fusion surgery here a little over a week ago. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and acted like they loved their job. Since I spent a couple nights here, I met many of the nurses and CNAs who were always super helpful and easy to talk to. A couple days after being released, I even received a nice card from the hospital signed by a few of the staff that helped me. I really appreciated that. The 1-story facility itself is clean and I had a nice large, comfortable room. If I ever have an inpatient hospital need in the future, I hope it will be at TVH.

My procedure required me to stay the night and those on duty were so attentive, no matter the hour of the night. The ratio of nurses to patients ensures the highest quality of care possible. They treated my wife, who stayed with me, with such respect and did not act like she was in the way. They made her feel very comfortable, as well. I just had surgery at Treasure Valley Hospital on the 20th. I was 100% satisfied with the treatment and care I received. The nurses were AWESOME! Getting settled and changed was a breeze, getting the IV in was effortless, and the explanation of procedures to come were perfect. They took the time to explain IV fluids I was hooked up to, the process of the anesthesia and nerve block, as well as the process of recovery once surgery was done. They escorted my husband to and from the waiting room to see me, both before surgery and in recovery, as well as keeping him updated at the completion of the surgery itself. The recovery nurse made sure I was comfortable standing on my own, had a little something to eat and drink, and she made sure I completely understood expectations following the surgery. She made sure I was able to get to and from the bathroom, and got me re-situated each time I had to get up and sit back down. I had no idea this place existed, and I HIGHLY recommend it. They took care of my family and I, and made me feel respected and well taken care of.

I was diagnosed with a torn rotator cuff and labrum in my right shoulder caused be a series of sports related injuries over the years. I met with my surgeon Dr. Jennifer Miller at ISMI (could do a totally separate stellar review on ISMI and Dr. Miller) she scheduled my surgery at TVH. This was the first time I've ever had any kind of surgery and did not know what to expect, I also have a fear of hospitals. When I arrived I was greeted and provided all of my intake information. The front desk folks were great, friendly and professional. I was escorted to pre-op and nurse Patty got me ready for my procedure. She had a very warm bedside manner, made sure I was comfortable and explained everything from the drugs they would administer to how the gown worked. From my vantage point in the pre-op bed the whole hospital looked like a chaotic ballet as nurses and doctors walked, jogged and flittered from beds, to front desk, to laptops. The anesthesiologist then moonwalked:-) in and explained what was going to happen in the operating room and how the anesthesia would work. I was rolled into the operating room and met by Dr. Miller who then explained how the surgery would proceed. I felt very comfortable. When I awoke the team was there making sure I could sit up and that I was ready to leave. Dr. Miller contacted my wife to let her know how everything went and how to proceed once home. The nurse wheeled me out to my awaiting ride, provided me with post op information and off I went with my newly repaired shoulder. A couple days later I received a card from the team at TVH wishing me a speedy recovery. I still have a fear of hospitals, but the staff at TVH did a fantastic job of alleviating my stress.

As a patient I had a repair surgery to a broken wrist. A year ago my husband had a knee surgery. Treasure Valley Hospital offers quick, courteous service. They are efficient - less hassle and waiting around. Unlike the big hospitals, they are adequately staffed so you get the attention you need. Staff seem less stressed than at Luke's or Al's - I think they are just spread too thin. Great customer service! Remember what that used to feel like? Staff is cheerful, friendly, and helpful. Dr. Linder performed my first ever surgery today when he went into my right knee for a meniscectomy. He and the entire staff at TVH deserve higher than a 5 star rating. Everyone was really down to earth, personable, and enjoyable to talk to. I was a little uneasy having never needed general anesthesia in my 46 years on this earth. Not scared just unsure what to really expect because you hear all the different stories. They lived up to and beyond relaxing me on the entire process. Very informative about every step. When they administered the knee block I didn’t even know it happened until the anesthesiologist got up to leave. Once in the OR, the atmosphere in there was awesome, good music, and could tell they love doing what they do. Next thing I know I’m waking up in recovery 40 minutes later and less than an hour after that I was being discharged with absolutely zero discomfort. A little groggy from the general and first dose of pain meds but that’s to be expected. I’ve been home 7 hours now and still zero discomfort. I chose Dr. Linder completely by recommendation when I told DOC I would like an athletic minded surgeon. I am a road and mountain cyclist, and I referee HS basketball here in the Treasure Valley. He told me he’d have me spinning again very soon, and likely back to full strength by end of August. With COVID restrictions my wife was not able to come in with me. Dr. Linder and the nurses kept my wife up to speed along the entire way so she knew what was up the whole time. Dr. Linder even gave my wife a really detailed phone call about what was found and what he did while he was in my knee. Extremely happy with my experience today, confident I’ll be running and biking again soon, and will definitely be going back to Dr. Linder and TVH if and when the next orthopedic surgery comes up. High five to the surgeons entire staff at TVH.

I went in for a knee surgery. Overall the staff was fantastic and made me feel heard and listened as I was very nervous. However, one nurse seemed to be more concerned about getting rid of me that making sure I was OK, she barely explained how to clean the drain and suggested we go to the ER, once I started having tingling in my arm. We were already in the hospital, why would we go somewhere else? I feel that for one person I should not shame all the other great staff among great were Patty, Alison, Tatiana and Cynthia, Konnie who were great and very helpful.

The check-in process was very easy and pleasant! I cannot say enough about my nurse “Pam” just so awesome and made the whole process great! Dr. Black was great - no pain! All the operating and recovery nurses wonderful! An incredible experience- of course Dr. Lewis is the best!! See you all in a little over a month when I return for another surgery! I had a fairly major back surgery here which required a two night stay, The care I received was excellent. You never felt you were bugging anyone if you pushed the nurse button, and calls were always answered promptly. Not that I felt like eating much, food service came and took your order (menu in room, but there are other items available too), and food was promptly served and warm, and healthy. All instructions were clear, and all questions answered thoroughly. If you have to be in the hospital, this is not a bad place to be. Thank you TVH for making my experience that was no more uncomfortable than it had to be.

I had spinal surgery at Treasure Valley Hospital. They keep the number of in patients very low, (I was the only one the first night.) My experience was the best care I have ever received at a medical facility. Having been in the healthcare profession myself I was probably even more critical. If needed assistance they responded immediately. They were very punctual in administering meds. to keep ahead of the pain. They had a pretty good menu from which to choose if your diet allowed, and if you thought you might want a snack during the night, they made it happen.

The nurses ensured that my pain was well managed after I recovered from anesthesia with both non-pharmacologic and pharmacologic options. I could tell that everyone loved working there. Because of that attitude it transferred to the patient and it made me more calm before going under the knife. She took very good care of me for the short time I spent with her. My RNs; Hannah, Billy and Lori were also top notch. I trusted all of them and that's a big deal to me. My CNAs Maria (my handler) and Terri were all professional, knowledgeable and kind. The food was nothing short of amazing. I thought I was dining in a 5 star restaurant. Everything I had was delicious and perfectly prepared. They brought me anything I asked for anytime I wanted it. This hospital is more like a resort than a medical facility. First time in my 60+ years that I wasn't in a hurry to get discharged. If you have a choice, you would really would be doing yourself a grave disservice by going anywhere else. Yesterday my son who is 14 had surgery. The process was easy and the nurses he had were amazing. They comforted me as well as my son. Even trying to distract him from all the needles (he hates needles). Once finished his doctor came and talk to me letting me know that they could tell he was feeling some of the procedure but they gave him a little more anesthesia which is causing him to take a little longer to wake up. They took great care of him, and hopefully we never have to go back, but if we did I would go there. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They paid attention to patient cues when he might have not been able to speak up and they were very open and communicative with me, answering all my questions and taking their time helping me understand.

I was greeted and taken care of in the reception area by a woman named Angela (her and my wife went to school together) who couldn't have been more professional, courteous, and engaging. Amanda was my nurse and Dr. Getz was my surgeon and boy what a team!!! They were so great throughout the entire process and took such good care of all of my needs during and after surgery. Dr. Getz was super personable and even let me bug him on his personal line for a pharmacy emergency. Amanda was quick to call back if I had any questions or concerns and put up with my HR being a pain in the butt when it came to doctor notes. :) The worst part about getting surgery is the bills afterwards, but let me tell you, Brenda from the billing office was absolutely awesome! She was a God send. She worked out a plan with me that definitely beat my expectations when I called in to make payment arrangements. Such a great facility and even more amazing employees. Preparing for my knee surgery with Dr. Poole was very thorough. Marcey was quick and efficient with pre-op; the pre-surgery class very helpful, informative and no more than an hour. Check-in the day of surgery was easy, as I had pre-registered. Back in pre-op, Nurse Karen did an excellent job taking care of me. Dr. Poole stopped by to check on me, Anesthesiologist stopped by to give a spinal block and then off to surgery. Soon after I arrived at surgery I was sound asleep. After recovering I was taken to my room, which was spacious and comfortable. Nurse Lindsay and Missy were welcoming and took great care of my wants and needs. Soon Nurse Jalene and Melissa were on duty to take over. Jalene was so helpful with her instructions to improve my walking and getting in and out of bed. Can't say enough about the care I received at Treasure Valley Hospital. The salmon dinner was delicious and breakfast of omelette, toast and berries was wonderful. You will not go hungry here. Thanks to all who cared for me. I appreciate all you did and am pleased with my progress after only two days.

It all starts with Dr. Poole because he is an excellent surgeon , In my opinion the best in the Northwest. Next is his choice of treasure Valley Hospital. I am a nurse as well . I know good care when I get it . I would like to thank the staff that helped me in order which I met them. Starting with Aaron or known as Hollywood in surgery prep. Next is Becky in recovery. The room nurse Becca during the day and Joyce CNA. Then Kareen during the night. They all gave exceptional care. They explained the medications I was getting and what they were for. Plus giving patient education and direction as to what I need to do for myself now and in the future. They were all happy people wanting to help and I felt they truly cared. In addition anytime I rang the bell to get help they were right there. No delay. This comparison to another hospital that I’ve been at for my left hip replacement in 2016. Went to Treasure Valley Hospital for the first time today for nose surgery. Everybody there was professional and kind. We had an exceptionally good nurse doing the prep. It is much smaller and seems more efficient and personal than St. Luke's and St. Al's. The surgery with Dr. Beasley went well. In fact it was amazing, no swelling, I could breath the first night and from the exterior, nobody could tell that I could even had surgery. Dr. Beasley is the same surgeon that reconstructed our 6 year old granddaughters face 2 years ago when she was attacked by a Rottweiler. He spent 4+ hours and did hundreds of stitches during the surgery. I'm not sure any doctor could have done a better job. She is beautiful! Thanks to everyone at Treasure Valley Hospital. It is doctor owned and it is very well managed.

My experience with all the staff at Treasure Valley Hospital made my first surgery ever a relaxing experience. Jamie and Amber, my Preop RNs were phenomenal and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Dr. Rigby was amazing with providing my nerve block, and Tatiana was amazing in explaining the entire process to me while also administering my anesthesia in the actual OR. Michelle made sure to introduce herself before I went back into the OR to inform me that she was going to be my scrub nurse in the OR, which was nice of her. She didn't have to go out of the way to do that, but she did anyways. I don't remember much of an experience with my recovery nurses, Rachel and Kestlee, because I was coming out of anesthesia, but I remember they were really quick in putting my clothes back on haha. They were also very patient when I asked for my husband 3 or 4 times before it processed in my head what their answers were. Suzanne was also amazing. She watched over me in my recliner and gave me medicine, ginger ale, and saltines to combat my post-anesthetic nausea. Overall, I will be going back to this facility for as long as I am stationed in Mountain Home. Thank you so much.

From the time we checked in to the time we left, the staff was great. Surgery was for my partner and the receptionist let me know where the cafeteria was, where I could work on my computer and how I would be contacted. My overall experience was very good. I have to say that the reception area could be improved for the initial pre surgery check-in as the counter and waiting bench are very close. Receptionist needed to instruct patients to be seated muiltipule times and we be with them shortly. I understand this is for patient privacy laws but it would be nice to have information to help receptionist and patients to help start the process positive. After registration the nurses were very polite, professional and did a great job explaining what process they are going to proform. Recovery was good and again the nurses were helpful and very professional.

My boyfriend went in for back surgery this week and we stayed overnight at Treasure Valley Hospital. We had an excellent experience! Everyone was so kind and friendly. Our RNs and CNAs (Erin, Jess, Sarah, Trinity and Melanie) were awesome! They had multiple people to care for and we still felt like their number one priority. The anesthesiologist (Rigby) was wonderful, he talked to us well before the operation was to take place, answering all our questions. Then he came after my bf had woken up fully to make sure we were doing well. His surgeon Paul Monalbano was great and honest. He did a great job and we could see a big difference in mobility right away. The food was delicious and the food staff was wonderful, they came in and took breakfast and dinner order for us. As we walked the halls during recovery we were greeted by every person we passed including the construction workers. We had a private room. Each person answered all our questions and concerns with patience. They didn't force my bf to take any pains meds unless we were comfortable with them. We were not pushed to check out at a specific time, they waited until we were ready. I hope neither of us need surgery ever again, but if we do we'll be at treasure valley hospital!

I recently went here for knee surgery. The receptionists and admitting staff were very friendly and professional. The doctors and anastesiologists were fantastic and welcoming. However, the nursing staff, although very professional, completely lacked personality and were way too serious. Although I understand the seriousness of taking care of people, part of helping patients feel relaxed about surgery is having a sense of humor and humanity. It shouldn't only be about getting your job done to collect a paycheck. After the surgery, I didnt even get to open my eyes yet, and some woman was getting me dressed without my consent, and 2 male nurses were trying to get me up into a chair and out the door. Waking up from anesthesia is a very uncomfortable experience, and it doesn't help having to feel like you're just a number in an assembly line and they're trying to get rid of you. I kept asking to speak with my doctor to see how the surgery went and the nurses wouldn't allow it. I've never had a surgery where my doctor did not come and talk with me afterwards. They were in too much of a hurry to wheel me out the door.

I had arthroscopic surgery on one knee in August, 2017, and arthroscopic surgery on the other knee in September, 2018. Both were done at Treasure Valley Hospital. I love this hospital! You get a lot of one on one attention, they listen to you and the nursing staff is constantly checking on you. I prefer this hospital over any of the others in the Treasure Valley. The other hospitals could learn a lot from Treasure Valley Hospital.

This was my second surgery at TVH, and again, the whole process system was synched, performed, and followed-up with care, consideration, compassion and willingness to engage my questions and concerns at every step. While I wouldn't exactly call it a walk in the park (knee replacement), I am amazed how quickly I have returned to full gait with minimal hesitation, discomfort or pain, and I'm only three weeks post op. I'd call the whole experience remarkable!

I have had three surgeries at Treasure Valley and would not go anywhere else. It's crazy the difference in care you receive here vs other facilities. Every person I encountered was kind, took their time explaining things and made me feel like the only patient in the world. Everyone seems to love what they are doing there and it's a great feeling as a patient. They have made these last few years of surgeries as good as they possibly could go. My only complaint is that this last surgery I let them know I would need a med while coming out of surgery ahead of time because I shake really bad and it's uncomfortable and kind of scary. They had to give it to me the last two surgeries as well. This time they didn't give it to me ahead of time. I wish they had as discussed. Other than that hiccup every single person made my experience special; the front desk, my pre-op nurse, the other nurses, my recovery room nurse and of course my amazing doctor and PA. They fed me, told me funny stories and distracted me from how scared I was. Thank you for being such a great facility.

So pleased with the care I received before surgery (classes, pre-op before surgery and etc). Day of surgery, I felt comfortable even during this (COVID time). The team was amazing, kept my mind busy, entertained me, answered all my questions. (most importantly I am a nurse but my lens of care is NOT orthapedics) and I appreciated that even though I am a nurse, I was never told once "oh you know this already your a nurse". Thank you. I wish I could remember everyone names, sorry just know that if you took care of me on November 18th, I appreciate all you did. I know you take pride in your infection rate, but as a patient/nurse, I should not have to ask staff to wear a mask, that has been shown to protect others and decrease the risk of covid 19 exposure. My husband just had surgery at Treasure Valley Hospital. Thanks to Dr Hjajjar for scheduling our surgery there. We have lived in Idaho since 1966 and were unaware of its existence. I can not say enough about the hospital as a whole. The staff, the kindness shown to us, the ease of just being there and being taken care of. The staff went out of there way to see that our needs were met and also told us how much they enjoyed working there. We were also told the cost of a stay was $23,000. cheaper then a stay at the other two hospitals in Boise as it is doctor owned. I give it an A+++

October 16, 2020 I recently had Dr.Appleonie reconstruct my ACL at the TVH. I was not only impressed with Dr's fine job, but of my knee. I was impressed with every member of the staff. This hospital is Doctor owned and run. Their professionalism showed in the foundation of this organization. I noticed how efficient each staff member worked at their specific job. Recently had surgery at TVH; it was an outpatient, but an umbilical hernia is a delicate procedure. I didn't know too much about the place. What a wonderful surprise. Doctor-owned, I'm sure they are perceived by St Lukes and St Alphonsus as an existential threat. To be fair, St Lukes and St Als have ERs, which TVH does not have. So, the St Lukes and Als models are diametrically different. We could talk about American health care and how broken it all is for a long time. Treasure Valley Hospital is an American anomaly. The staff are top-shelf, and the protocols immaculate. My admissions nurse, whom I met with a week before the procedure was just so thorough. And she had personality. Everyone here loves their job. The day of my procedure I had a dedicated nurse who was just as thorough as the first. Their fail-safes are impressive, there are gonna be no mistakes. It was concierge service, and at a competitive price-point. St Lukes and St Als, don't get me wrong, they have great doctors too but it is more ...... institutional. T VH is the upstart, not corporate owned. The difference is startling, and a pleasant surprise. The doctor, John Getz, was recommended to me by another non-corporate surgeon as THE GUY to go to for my issue, and he was priceless. Super-chill, he'd done about 5000 of these procedures and knows his stuff cold. Would I recommend the facility? Hell yes I would. And the doctor I had was great. Great teams.

Dr Poole and assistance, nurses, cna, physical therapy, kitchen crew, admitting and house keeping were 100% on task. Never have I been in such a warm, loving care facility. Spoiled me and my family. It was quiet at nite so I could actually rest. Alot of gentle caring. Dr called me at home the nite before surgery and I was called the day after I left. Treasure Valley hospital is very unique.

Clean, well organized hospital. The small size allows for a lot of one on one attention by the staff. My biggest negative was the speed at which they wanted you out the door. I don’t think both of my eyes were open after my surgery (general anesthesia) and some unknown woman was trying to dress me. If you go here for day surgery be ready to move quickly afterwards, they will press the issue.

Had my total knee surgery there on Thursday. Staff from start to finish was excellent. Listened to what I had to say, concerns, needs, etc. Anesthesia (Pearce) did wonderful job on my spinal. Postop and Floor nursing staff (Shannon, Liz, Trinity, Melanie, and Jallene(sp) ) were absolutely awesome. Took good care of me and my needs -even though I was an easy patient - their words-, they never spoke down to me, listened to me and worked with me during my stay. Food was outstanding, just sorry I didn't feel good enough to clean my plate.

I fractured my knee in McCall and was referred and given an appt 1 week later by St Lukes Orthopedic Group. That was after I had already had an Xray and scan. Disappointed in the long wait and physically uncomfortable, I sought to find a quicker solution. Jeanne Hunter, a nurse friend at TVH expressed concern and was able to get Dr. Curran to review my file and make a determination that I needed surgery right away. They got me in the very same day. I feel I was treated like a good friend by all at TVH. It was super clean, very comfortable, professional, attentive, and the surgery details were thorough and successful. I recommend that you consider TVH before anywhere else for an experience that provides the best outcome along with outstanding care.

From check in to check out everybody was very friendly, personal, courteous, professional, and just plain nice all around. Even in the OR (the short time I was awake, lol) they were very "welcoming & personal". Which I believe it helps relieve some anxiety from a patient when all the staff are like that. You never feel "your just another number" with them. And in recovery I didn't just get ice chips or water. I got whatever I wanted to drink (coffee,tea, juice etc) and then a choice of some light foods (pudding,jello,toast etc) I had coffee and buttered toast. Just right after all that 👍 I would recommend this hospital to anyone, if you have a choice. P.S. my husband said the food in the cafeteria was great too. Lol Well, I feel the same way after I just had my 2nd surgery there. I hope if I have any other surgeries I can have them done there. They are all just amazing and help people feel comfortable.

Due to circumstances beyond the staff's control, there was a glitch in the delivery of an item. It was a fantastic experience from check-in thru discharge. My attending nurses Jen and Jenny have anticipated my needs. They are kind and cosiderate. I never felt like a burden. It was a great choice to have my surgery here. I had a fusion of L3 to L5 surgery. From the admissions process to the after care they answered my questions resolved my concerns. I felt like a real patient not a checkbox or on a checklist. The nurses wanted provide to awesome care. It did not seem care was given by a determined mandatory schedule. They actually talked my language in a way i can understand. Crazy to think they made it simple. I was comfortable. They placed a lot of focus on my experience here trying to do things right. This was different because most other medical providers spend so much time on disclaimers it makes me uneasy. I dont write many reviews but they impressed me.

ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING ON EVERY LEVEL! I would compared it to a day spa! The first nurse talked me through how the day would go as she lead me to my changing room where the bed was adorned with a few items to make my "stay" more enjoyable and organized. Once changed I met a friendly new nurse that happily explained her role and the intake process. Now, EVERYONE was super nice and accommodating but the next nurse I met was the real star ⭐. Ivey...hope that's spelled right, she deserves to be recognized at the very least, but while I'm making suggestions a solid raise and an all expense paid trip to her happy place would be in order 😁. She was a beacon of hospitality and attentiveness. She answered every question I had with eagerness and charm, she answered questions I didn't know I had! If you've had surgery before I'm sure you can relate to being a little anxious, nervous, and loopy from fasting. She single handedly put me at ease to the point that I literally ended up dozing off for little power nap prior to a single drop off ANYTHING from an I.V. or pill! EVERYTHING she did was focused on keeping me informed and comfortable. I lost track of the number of times I said thank you 😅. SO on point, just unbelievably above and beyond her call of duty 💜. My momma was a nurse for 34 years so I have a bit of insight into that role. I could easily and gladly spend more time singing her praise but there is even more to this story! As I drifted in and out of my little power nap I was greeted by the nurse that would be helping in the operating room, she educated me on her role in the operation and a few things to expect. Next, I met the "bar tender" (😆), he told me what to expect of the experience up until I was sent to cloud 9 where I would spend the duration of my procedure. Lastly, I was visited by my surgeon, Dr. Williams, who asked about my level of comfort and made sure I understood what was going to take place during and after the procedure. This Dr. has been ON POINT since my first appointment at his office. Sharp, articulate, and friendly from start to end. I left the hospital wondering how on earth these professionals had managed to completely wow me despite the challenges they are facing daily during this pandemic. This measly review doesn't even capture the half of it. The next bit of info might leave you laughing, but its in tune with the general concept of this story and thereby completely relevant to share. I can't help but wonder what is going through your mind if you've found the time to read my book of a message... This was all in the name of a simple umbilical hernia repair. I couldn't make this up, these guys and girls are truly next level! #LEGIT #PROSTATUS #EPIC

I'm a nurse who had sinus surgery here. Erin (I think) my pre-op nurse was great! Informative and friendly. Overall good experience here. Only thing I would change was immediate post op pain management (i.e. intramuscular or intravenous management before a pain pill for severe pain) but understand the need to not over sedate. However face surgery stuff is pretty painful 😊 I would def have a procedure here again.

Wonderful facility, I went in for endoscopic sinus surgery yesterday, and was treated incredibly well. The staff that took care of me in the OR included Dr. Hine, Tony Hunt, and Chris Kobbow. Recovery included Pam Johnson, Jennifer Holden, and Becky Cook. My pre-operative nurse Lisa was amazing also. Altogether, the staff made me completely comfortable and I could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this facility, and thank you all!

My husband had surgery on his neck by Dr. Johans June of 2017. Dr. Johans is great. His care at the hospital was exceptional. He just recently had ulnar nerve decompression surgeries on both arms preformed by Dr. Johans. One arm done on May 15, 2018 and the other arm done May 29th. We love all the staff that we have had to deal with from the front desk and everyone involved in the surgical & recovery process. I want to thank each and everyone one of you who treated me....from the pre-op appt, the ladies working the check in desk the week before to the actual surgery on the 25th of April. I have to say this was the BEST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED from any hospital experience I have ever had, and I have had plenty in my life. You all treat the person as a person and not their symptoms/problems they are coming to you with. And with great RESPECT as well. I have worked in this healthcare field for over 30 something years, and never seen an organization run this well. At other places I try not to tell the staff what I do for a living, just to see how they react to me or how my care is given, but not here. The care was AMAZING, the staff very friendly and personable (sp?). They made sure that I was comfortable throughout my stay there that day. Thank you do very much for the great service YOU ALL provided to me and my family that day. I will never forget this experience. I want to give a HUGE shout out to Tiffany, for being my pre-op nurse and for giving the first of the "I don't care" meds, you gave my family ammo for tons of pics....lol. Angela, for everything you had to do with my pre-op EKG and everything else. Rob, I think you were the one that deadened my Frankenstein arm and gave me the "I don't really care" meds!!! Jeanne, my post op nurse~you are still the BEST TOAST MAKER EVER and you pour a mean apple juice too!! I DEFINITELY will be using this hospital again, if and when I ever need to have a surgical procedure done in the future! 😀😀😀😀😀

There is not enough parking and it's not clear where you can park without getting towed. Had to drop my wife off and find street parking about a quarter mile from the facility.

I just had surgery to correct a herniated Disc. Surgery is no fun, and Lumbar Surgery even worse, but the experience at TVH was most excellent. Dr. Hajjar's surgical expertise corrected the problem with the disc, and I am now pain-free ! I will echo what some others have reported in their reviews … The staff is great - I received a lot of one-on-one attention. The food was also great. Being a smaller hospital is probably why the Service tends to be so personalized. A big thumbs-up to TVH and thank you for "fixing" me !

My experience with this hospital was fantastic. We were initially pushed by St Lukes ER doctors to go to St. Lukes but we shopped around because we were paying cash. Everyone at TVH from the business manager to the nurses to the doctors were first rate. The big hospitals might be a little flashier when you walk in but dont be fooled Treasure Valley Hospital is a first rate facility at half the cost (in my case). If you have insurance and normally don't care about cost, you should. Do your part to control health care costs and choose this smaller company that is doing equal if not superior work for half the cost of St Lukes and St Alphonsos.
