I feel Dr Banks was knowledgeable and thorough with me and my individual needs Taking into account my past and plans for future treatment. The staff at the front counter left a lot to be desired it was horrible. The Doctor’s medical assistant was wonderful and very helpful. Even the billing clerk explained everything to me in a courteous fashion. The Lab Tech was great too.

If there is such a thing as a good colonoscopy, I think I experienced one. The Gatorade and Miralax was so much better than what I had 10 years ago, easy to get down. Woke up after procedure Wide Awake, not groggy, had full energy all afternoon. First time I've ever experienced this. Dr Goulet was professional, kind, and considerate of my needs.

DHC is a very well-organized and well-run medical clinic. The office and medical staff are friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and communicate well. My procedure was very low-stress and smooth. Everything was amplified due to the restrictions of the prep process. I’ll never be happy with a 90 minute delay, on any appointment. Ever. But considering the process in whole, it was pleasant beyond expectations. Staff was friendly and engaging; IV was painless; Dr. was supportive and got things handled quickly. No complaints after my name was called. Lesson: always schedule an early AM procedure.

Samantha Goodrich is a wonderful clinician. She takes time with her patients and I never leave feeling like I wasted my time going. During my last visit, I even asked her about a couple of unrelated issues. I wanted to know if I should see my regular doctor about them. If you have gut problems, this is the place for you. I have been going here for two years. The doctors and staff are very helpful. The office area and exam rooms are clean and comfortable. They also do procedures at this location, so it's not always necessary to have them done at the hospital.

Check in was painless and the wait time was not very long. Procedure details were explained well. The physician made certain to ask questions of issues I was having. The person doing the IV knew her business. She took her time to find a stubborn vein. I never felt the needle go in. Nice bunch of folks. I recommend this clinic for your needs.

Having a colonoscopy can be very nerve-wracking and unpleasant due to the fasting and cleansing process. That turned out to be the worst part. The procedure itself was fairly quick and definitely painless. The staff at Digestive Health were all very friendly and professional. I was well cared for from the time I walked in until I left after the procedure. Thank you to all the doctors (especially Dr. Victor Chen) and all the nurses who interacted with me during my visit! You are all great!!

Professional, friendly, clean office and no long waits. I've had multiple appointments and tests including a colonoscopy next door at saint Alphonsus that went smoothly. All the staff make you as comfortable as possible. Recently I had some minor issue with communication outside the clinic because of an outdated preferred contact method. Showed up to an appointment that was moved back. My original doctor left the clinic, I have no idea why, but my new doctor is good as well so no problem for me. You should have no hesitation to come here for your digestive health needs.

Staff is great and most providers are pretty good albeit super busy, so most visit feel a bit rushed. Previously I had a ton of trouble reaching them through their phone service and it was an absolute nightmare for the last 4+years. It is still hit and miss, I am not sure if their voicemail drops messages or what happens. I updated from 2 to 4 stars because since mid last year communication has improved tenfold which was my biggest issue with this place.

This was my second endoscopy, and the first endoscopy (different location) was traumatizing. I went in very anxious and scared, and they were so supportive and helpful in keeping me calm and reassuring it would be ok. I didn’t even realize the procedure was happening, and before I knew it I was awake! A great experience for what I had to have checked out!

The surgery went well, in and out procedure and the prep was not at all like I had heard from friends. It wasn't pleasant, but not what I had anticipated. After getting all good results on the procedure I had my follow up with Samantha Goodrich. I appreciate that with both of the providers I was given a number to call to talk directly with their nurse if I had any questions. Both providers were great and I will always go back to the Nampa office for future procedures. Thank you for your outstanding patient care.

It was an easy and pleasant experience except for not allowing people in the waiting room and the estimated time, for a designated driver, for pick up was an hour off. They tell you sooner so your driver doesn’t run off too far I assume. I don’t know my nurse’s name but she was super kind, as was Dr. Cook. Easy peasy process throughout!

My physician is Dr. Steven Schultz and he has always been a terrific expert when it comes to my health. If at one point any of the receptionist staff appear to be rude! Please don't judge them as they are humans and they jeopardize their well being where the COVD19 is at high risk. Personally, I think they are amazing and deal with patients with in loyalty and respect. I have never had any problems or misunderstandings with any of the front desk ladies. And I have been going to this clinic for 20 + years. " I happen to review some following comments" I'm sorry that people go through this bad mishaps at one point or another. The place is very convenient with plenty parking spaces. The staff is very helpful and make your visit smooth and convenient.

Dr. Goulet is the best part of Digestive Health care. I couldn't be happier with his care. His nurse, Andrea, treats me with care, empathy and respect. Not like a number. Getting an appt with their schedulers is often difficult. You end up waiting a long time, leaving your # but they do eventually call back. Once you are a patient, you can leave a message with the nurse instead and the care is extraordinary from Dr Goulet. I highly recommend Dr Goulet. My endoscopy was simple as well and I felt comfortable and at complete ease through it. They also don't make you drink that awful solution other places do. It's worth dealing with the schedulers to see Dr Goulet!

This was my very first colonoscopy ever and it was a good experience. I felt no pain and the procedure was quick. The prep was the hardest in my opinion. The staff are amazing and kind. He validated me when I told him my concerns and assured me that my pain wasn’t in my head- like other doctors tend to do. He assured me that my pain was real, and offered me solutions on how to help. I was satisfied with the help I received as well as my treatment plan for the future. The staff is kind and professional as well. The building is new and very clean. Would highly recommend Digestive Health Clinic for any gastrointestinal needs, but especially recommend Dr. Krajicek for your care. Great experience!

My first colonoscopy. After I failed three different attempts of prepping for the colonoscopy and canceling all three appointments, they were very understanding and never once treated me bad. They continued to reschedule until I was successful and made it in. My experience throughout the process of the actual procedure was extremely wonderful. This office is getting a lot of hate from some reviewers and love from others. I agree with many. The Digestive Clinic really is a money mill with heavy workloads and pricey procedures, but when you find a place that is quiet and offers cheap colonoscopies you might want to pass. Staff is from not friendly to quite friendly. This is Idaho, not California, after-all, so don't expect everyone to be nice. And forget calling here, reviewers aren't lying about poor phone practices. They won't call you back promptly, I've been blown off twice, but last time, no problem. The scheduler is very nice and you can stop in to schedule. Gibson brothers are technically proficient, but not people people. I think they work too hard and the doctors there are focused on productivity. Not rude, however. I did have a bad experience. I'm not claiming anything, but I think the nurse may have done a bad bad thing with my meds. That was many years ago and that nurse may not be there now. Been back 2-3 times with great results. The reviewer who was miffed because a driver was required has no idea how stupid that made him/her sound. After my procedures I couldn't drive a motorized wheelchair down the hall, let alone drive my car home and remember the doctors summation. Not even close. I'd have trouble finding my car. Not a perfect office. This office only deserves 3 stars, overall because of disorganization, but I'll give a star back because the difficulty level for this fast-paced office is quite high. I'm returning there without concern.

Probably no one wants to be at the clinic getting a procedure done, but they do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and help you through the procedure. I personally had mine done without sedation and there's little chance I would have gone through with it without the caring check- in nurse (whose name I can't remember), Dr. (Jankowski), and her nurse (Kailey?). There were a few hiccups with getting my prep prescription and the i.v., but overall they did a great job and kept me safe!

This was my first go around with getting a colonoscopy, I was actually terrified and had experienced extreme anxiety the entire week before my procedure. I was very nervous about getting sedated for my colonoscopy, I had spoken to the nurse On the day of my appointment, about being nervous about sedation, I asked the nurse checking me if I had to have sedation. She told me that NO IT IS NOT REQUIRED, its a personal preference! Dr. Ashley Evans and her nurses were amazing helping me get through my first colonoscopy without any sedation or pain meds! It was a little uncomfortable in some spots/going around corners however very tolerable. I would recommend anyone who is nervous about sedation to at least try the procedure without it. You won't regret it and the staff are so comforting and helpful in getting you through it! Thank you so so much.

Scheduling can take a long time to get in here. After calling in the start of August, staff directed my family member to get a referral from her PCP. When she could get her PCP appointment and referral, it ended up taking 2 weeks to schedule the appointment for mid-late September. When we called in we learned 50 other people had been referred in that day too. So this is a busy location and can take a while to get your appointment date. That is why they get 4 stars. Once we had our appt though, we were really pleased with the quality of the facility, the friendliness and efficiency of staff, and Dr. Jankowski taking time to explain the results as your loved one is waking up. She didn't beat around the bush and told us her concerns directly. My only other critique would be that the first time family meets the doc is in recovery for your family, so I didnt have the opportunity to ask questions before. Overall, very pleased with our experience here. Thank you to the staff for providing excellent care for my family member.

But considering Dr Gibson was my doctor I think it would be more fitting to be seen by him.

I couldn't believe how easy my colonoscopy was. I once had "sedation" involving a nearby part of the anatomy, and it did nothing for me. Ditto with eye surgery. One tiny Valium pill does nothing. Two do nothing. Here you get IV sedation that's akin to general anesthesia from the patient's perspective (there's probably a medical distinction involving breathing tubes or something). You will be asleep. Asleep, asleep, asleep. If all Americans knew this, nobody would die of colon cancer. I have no idea what all the doctor crammed into me while I was sleeping, but when I woke up it was over, I felt fine, and the doc said I didn't have to come back for 10 years. They were thorough in investigating one small polyp they found (turned out to be nothing). I definitely recommend this place.

Whereas I'm sure the staff and doctors are top-flight, their phone tree is ORWELLIAN. I can't imagine any other callers ever actually getting through on a first try; it is just so obviously engineered, in the spirit of Pavlov, to TEACH YOU to just leave a message. You must hit an key (other than 2 I recall) if you want to remain in queue to speak with someone (Ha!), and after twelve rounds of that, repeated each thirty seconds, I gave up. Left a message, which has not been returned yet --in fairness it hasn't even been a day. Maybe they'll call. But. It was a new low when it comes to painful, annoying and time-consuming phone trees. What diabolical mind thought this was a way to go?
