The staff was very friendly and helpful. They are very human and they are always patient, kind, professional. We have been here two months since my nephew's diagnosis and we have no negative comments. I am grateful for all the attention received by the doctors, nurses, cleaning staff. I just have to say thank you.

I recently had surgery here, and honestly I have mixed feelings. All medical professionals were great. Shout out to Ruby a nurse technician on extended recovery! You were an absolute angel to me and never rushed me when I needed help. Keep on being amazing! Now to the part I didn't love. Some of the hospital policies are absolutely stupid. They try to get every last penny from you. Be aware that if you are self pay you're going to pay a hefty bill, and it will need to be paid upfront.

I have been in the woman's center for the 3 days, after having mastectomy and reconstruction surgery, from breast cancer. Every person I have interacted with has been kind, respectful, professional, and positive. From the receptionist Sunshine, the pre-op nursing staff, custodial to cafeteria, techs, and especially, my night nurse, Sam and day nurse, Jessica. They have gone above and beyond everyday, checking and double checking to ensure all is well with me and that I am comfortable. They helped make an uncertain time be warm and comfortable. I am so thankful for them.

My daughter had hip surgery on Friday 10/28. Although the surgeon was wonderful, I'm frustrated with the rest of the staff. They didn't feed her anything until Saturday afternoon after I kept asking (horrible, gross food). She was to be on the ortho floor, but due to lack of beds she was on floor 7. The nurses aren't being careful with her, not supporting her leg, and she's in a lot of pain. No one seems to know what to do with her from a PT standpoint. PT has only been in 2x and we've been here 48 hours. Her current nurse Amy seems to be wonderful and communicating as much as she can. If I ever need surgery or have an emergency, I really hope I don't need to come here.

I had to go to the ER this Thursday and the intake staff was excellent. The doctor & PA was wonderful. My only complaint was a nurse in the pink jacket. I was told that I was already giving my pain medicine only for someone to come and give it to me a hour later. This was after I was told to very rude & dryly that I was already put in my IV which I knew was a lie but what can you do when your in pain and barely can speak! In 2022 black women are still not taking serious about their pain levels and that’s very concerning. Lucky the Dr. Jordan was wonderful along with the PA that day. The nurse not so much so!

The staff were very helpful and friendly.
I am appreciate that. Especially, I want to thank you Ms Elissa, she work in pediatric ICU. she’s a good nurse, so patient and kindness. Thanks again.
The security lady was very helpful.
Thanks all of your guys.

I had surgery there. All of the people I came in contact with were professional, helpful, caring and kind. The nurse staff was amazing. They were also thorough. I felt in good hand during my stay there.

I am giving 5 stars to the nurses. I was in horrible horrible pain. Like literally rather die than just deal with it. I came in crying in such pain. All the nurses were so nice and caring. They tried to distract me from the pain asking me about my tattoos and such. While the pain didn’t stop the human kindness was so nice.

Outstanding staff. Goes above and beyond for the patient and family. Still good covid protection, no extra visitors. Can not say enough about 2 West... loved our whole team. Hospital is clean, lots of parking, they clean the parking garage at night even.

My experience at this facility was nothing short of amazing. My doctor arranged for my surgical procedure to be performed here & I approve the decision. Upon entry into the facility, I was greeted courteously by administrators & directed to a fancy patient admissions area. The representative who verified my insurance for admittance was polite, poise, & primped professionally . I was lead to the waiting area for the surgery center, and security greeted me to tag my personal belongings in the pre-op admissions area. Security took efficient control of all my prescriptions & returned them to me when I was discharged from the hospital. It was my first time getting a heparin injection as a straight shot directly in the arm, but my pre-op nurses were so breezy like fresh air— I tolerated the stinging like a badge of honor because I was proud of them & forbid they encountered someone else with an increased adverse tolerance & reaction to pain, I didn’t want to abuse their energy. All my nurses introduced themselves & routinely checked in to ensure my needs were met during my recovery. My inpatient room was clean and held something close to a Tuscan luxury theme. My fiancé and I are trying to get pregnant & will most definitely be interested in returning to Northside for the delivery. I wish all the Northside staff & their families a wonderful Holiday season & a Happy New Year.

In my experience with the ER, having had horrible experiences with Wellstar Douglas this hospital was a God send, not only from the nurses techs, everybody was loving, helpful, positive and kind. Thank you, I was scared and alone and needed reassurance, they were all I needed. Praise God.

We could not be more appreciative of the 2nd floor nurses, techs and staff of Northside Hospital. They have been so good to my mother during her 4 day stay. They were attentive, through, proactive, considerate, respectful and even very loving.
While I was out buying Greek Pasteries for THEM...they brought her a card, balloon and a scripture verse.
We realize they do it for everyone but we also KNOW she's their FAVORITE 😍
They loved, appreciated and are enjoying the pasteries. She is certainly the favorite now.
Hope she's able to get some rest with lots of visitors stopping by to thank her.
When I left I honestly meant it when I said... "I don't need to say to take care of her...I KNOW you will."

The service i received today was absolutely exceptional . I have been to so many ers in the past week sitting for 9 plus hours and still didn’t get to see a doctor . When i walked into northside , i was a little hesitant because the er was so small but the front desk clerk was super friendly . The guy who took my vitals and my blood were friendly too . I waited for about an hour and half for a room . When i got to back i was promptly greeted by my nurse . Then my doctor came in shortly after . I had several procedures :ct scan , chest X-ray , ekg which were all done swiftly and each doctor was super friendly and helpful all the way down to the registration !! This from now on is the only hospital i will visit in Georgia !! Northside hospital ,thank you so much for your superb service all the way across the board !!! You can tell when the people around you truly like their jobs and want to help their patients!!
TIA BIA
best hotel i mean hospital stay i have ever experienced! no long wait! everyone was super kind and considerate. if not they sure did a great job at pretending they were. they were super attentive and caring! catering to every need and asking if you need or would like anything. never been to a hospital where i saw every single nurse and tech come in and write their information on the board. everything was nice in the rooms and the building every part that i saw anyways. i don't want to have another baby but if i were to i would definitely return. special thanks to everyone that I encountered during my visit. if i don't mention you i apologize bcuz i probably didn't get your name or forgot it but everyone that assisted in delivering my baby! CARRIE, DANIELLE, LISA, BIBI, JAINA, STACEY, MARLEYNA, ELSA, lady with pretty eyes that cleaned my baby, all the ladies who brought the delicious food and man that wheeled us to the car! i also apologize if i misspelled your name as well please forgive me i meant to write these down while i was there🙏🏾 thank everyone so much and the ppl that came to make sure my experience was pleasurable. you're all awesome🖤

The nurses, doctors, and staff in the NICU are all wonderful. Our son stayed for 37 days, and we had nothing but pleasant experiences, both on the 2nd and 7th floors. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

When I went in for a double mastectomy last week, this entire crew (Sabrena, Jennie, Mariam, Josephine, and Leah) in the women’s care center were Absolutely Awesome!! These women went above and beyond for my husband (Joseph), and myself. These 5 women are ROCKSTARS!! 💖💖💖💖💖 …

10/10 I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.
After receiving the WORST possible care at Northside Forsyth. I was transferred to the Atlanta campus due to Forsyth incompetence. I sat at the Forsyth hospital literally holding my face together after a very severe laceration to my lower lip / chin for 6 hours while they continuously LIED TO ME.
The Atlanta campus got me in, took care of the pain, and got me out back together.
The Nurses were fantastic and the plastic surgeon knew exactly what to do, while causing me no additional discomfort.
DO NOT GO TO THE FORSYTH LOCATION UNLESS YOU WILL DIE OTHERWISE. GO TO THE ATLANTA LOCATION!!!!

Amazing nurses and doctors, only downside is you’re gonna be waiting hours in the waiting room until you can be seen. PLEASE make sure it’s Emergency worthy.

I did not stay here but was only visiting a friend. However, I did want to mention that the two ladies at the check in desk were incredibly kind and good natured, which makes a difference in places like this.

During my delivery, I arrived 10cm dilated. I only had a choice of two hospitals and I’m happy we chose Northside. Overall, staff made me feel at ease and relaxed throughout the process. Only negative is I didn’t like the way the staff made me feel when I refused the Covid test. Again, arrived 10cm dilated and ready to deliver when they attempted to test me. I asked if the results changed anything. She said no so I refused. I had no symptoms, was not around anyone who had been exposed and I Didn’t want additional discomfort of the test for no reason. I then noticed I was left with just my midwife and nurse. Made me feel like the concern was not for me and baby but for staff. Staff that should be vaccinated and trained to protect themselves. I was slightly offended but my midwife, nurse and baby nurse were truly amazing.

Had my baby here on Saturday. Labor was manageable (thank god for epidural!) and my doctors and labor nurses were so sweet and efficient. Now to the negative- Some of the post labor staff were very sweet and helpful and some were pushy and gave conflicting information from what the doctors and other nurses/techs gave regarding our baby. One nurse was too talkative/judgemental when we asked if our baby could go to the nursery for a couple hours so we could sleep between a feeding. Essentially argued with us over it which was quite stressful and frustrating. One main issue they should work on is the amount of people coming into a room at a time and timing. To just have a baby and then immediately be forced to go through all the documentation moments later is a bit much. There was too many people coming into our post partem room at all hours after just giving birth. We had someone (nurse, tech, doctor, photographer, pediatrician, food service, sanitation, customer support person, etc) coming into our room ever hour of every day (we were there for 2.5 days) after the delivery and my husband and I could barely get a moment of privacy or peace to rest after this intense event. Even when I wanted to go to the bathroom folks just barged in without asking. It felt crowded and like a conveyor belt. Only on the last day did the nurse and tech let us have the room alone for three hours to sleep. Tamecia, our night tech, specifically was amazing and super knowledgeable regarding feedings and timing which no one explained to us initially.
We however would advise the hospital to have less folks coming into rooms immediately after giving birth. Give folks privacy and space and a moment to be with their baby alone. This is a super special moment for them even if it's just another work day for you.

I delivered my first here December 2020 and will be delivering my second here in a few weeks and omg I will never deliver at any other hospital! My labor and delivery nurse literally sat with me the entire time I was in labor sitting in my bed giving me massages and just making sure I was okay. I forgot her name but she was amazing. I got my epidural placed and as soon as I asked for it he was in my room less than a minute later. It didn’t hurt at all and I never had any problems from it. After my c section I had an amazing delivery nurse her name was shaylynn I hope I’m spelling that right but omg she was a gift from heaven and the absolute best nurse ever. I would love to have her as my nurse this time around also. My overall experience was amazing.

The Nurse staff worked together for the benefit of my good according to my wishes. They held my hand when I needed comfort, made me laugh when I was scared, and made sure I had everything I needed for a speedy safe recovery. I am forever grateful to Dr. Ford and all the Nurses that cross my path that day.

I delivered my baby in 2021, this hospital has amazing staff. I loved how welcoming they make you feel. I do not have any complaints at all or any negative comments about this hospital.

Yesterday morning I came in for surgery. I was greeted with lovely smiles and lots of information to help prepare for surgery. From the receptionist at the desk on the 3rd floor to my nurse who looks like Miley Cyrus but nothing like Miley Cyrus. Her spirit was amazing we spoke about different devotionals and she shared one that I plan to read. Then another nurse with the same tragus earring as me, she was nice and helpful too. Once the surgery was over and I was recovering a whole team of nurses were working on me. They said surgery was a success and one gave me lip chap. That was sweet of her. Came to my room, where I was monitored. Ms. Ahyoung was my first nurse and Angela was my tech. They both are rockstars!! When the shift changed Amber and Ms. Latonya were helping me. They were awesome as well. Even the EVS person was super sweet Ms. Denise. The entire time I received excellent service and attention. My nurse now is Ms. Maryam and Ms. Angela is my tech. The bag I received is beautiful, with toiletries and information about the hospital. I prayed for a great experience and I received it. The only thing my husband noticed was the floor was sticky. Other than that we're having a blessed experience. Especially since this is my first surgery ever. Everyone has been more than kind, you can sense they enjoy helping people and seeing them get well. Great experience with kind people.

I did my D&C surgery at Northside Hospital Sandy Springs. First of all, I would to thank my surgeon, Dr. Sirisha Raju, Nurse Sarah (from 3rd fl, sorry I forgot your last name), Nurse Brooke Anderson William ( forgive me if I got your name wrong), other nurses, my anesthesiologist doctor Angelica, and other staff. Thank you all for taking care of me emotionally and physically. The service at Northside Hospital is above and beyond. I cannot wait and I pray that one day I’ll be able to deliver my rainbow child at Northside Hospital. Thank you for your caring and compassion. You all are true heroes ❤️❤️❤️.

I had a WONDERFUL birth experience!!! All the nurses, drs, food & nutrition etc were super nice!

So upset sitting in the patient room. Came in for pain down below while pregnant and have been here for OVER 6 hours. 16 weeks pregnant and I'm starving. Havent gotten water, crackers, nothing.... Haven't seen my nurse in 3 hours. Looked and walked down the hallway and everyone is gone. Everyone was nice and super friendly when I came in, but they have very poor time management skills and low staff when needed, making the wait x3 of what it should be. I'm suppose to be delivering my baby at this hospital, and now I'm afraid... I hope this isn't like any other day because the staff is great, but the wait time has been terrible for me

My husband had a seizure and fainted then seized again. EMT’s were at my condo in 10 minutes. I am brand new to GA and in the middle of COVID. I was advised hospital would not let me in to the emergency room. My husband has dementia. Luckily I have durable power of attorney. I stood my ground and the Dr spoke to my husband and I was allowed access. I was escorted to an empty emergency room and told not to leave. I understood. 3 minutes later my husband arrives and he had already had a CAT scan of the brain. This all happened in less than 1 hour. We were checked on
And tested for the day. My husband was admitted after visiting hours so again I understood. Charge nurse called and asked what his like and dislikes were. We spent 20 minutes discussing his limitations and they got him a sitter. He had a private room which is all they have. This made things much easier. His neurologist conferenced me in with an internist and the pharmacist. They went over his conditions and changed his meds while keeping me in the loop. My husband was there 3 days. I have never received such caring and professional care for myself or my husband in my entire life. IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC.We have continued to seek out a cardiologist and other doctors affiliated and can not thank them enough!!!

My sister spent 9 days at N'side on7 the 5 th floor. She received excellent care from the ER to the nurses, doctors and entire staff . The food was excellent ! Bridgette, who works on the 5th floor is a awesome employee and one of the most caring employees...Keep up the great work!

Great Staff! Went to ER and wait time wasn’t long, maybe about an hour or so. They had more than one doctor on call which is a miracle compared to other hospitals! Treated me like they cared and they listened to me patiently. Wonderful Service from front desk to nurse and doctor!

I visited the ER and found out I had appendicitis then had surgery to remove my appendix later the same day. Every single nurse, doctor, and staff member was amazing, incredibly helpful, and kind. So grateful I was in their hands for my emergency.

I traveled from North Carolina to have surgery here last Friday (5/6). Every staff member from administrative to nursing was absolutely wonderful - very kind and happy to help. We had a fantastic experience.

I had the most wonderful ER experience, like ever, while at Northside's Sandy Springs location. I went in for potential carbon monoxide poisoning and all of the staff were kind, courteous and efficient. Their bedside manner was very personable. I just wish I remembered the name of my Dr. and nurses, so I could personally shout them out. 10 out of 10.

I’ve always been treated super well by the staff and physicians here. Very caring and very sweet.

We decided to have our baby at Northside Hospital over Emory. Our doctors recommended Emory but we decided to go with Northside after a tour. Best decision! The Nurses were great and very attentive. Sheila, Melanie, Jasmin, Jasmine, Ada all amazing. They listened to me and answered all my questions, kept refilling the babies milk, pampers, etc. They offered to take my son so my husband and I could rest every day. The staff kept the room clean, pantry stocked and communicated well. The stay was very private and peaceful for us. The room was a good size and had a decent sleep area for my husband. The Doctors were great and they made me feel like I was a priority. Everyone congratulated us the entire time, we felt the attention to detail. We recommend 100%.

I am very happy with the care I received at Northside Hospital. The nurses were very attentive. I watched all nurses wash their hands going both in and out of my room, have me verbally verify my name and date of birth before giving any medicine and were on top of my pain management. I felt very safe in their care. Sonja in day surgery is just a gem. She took to time to explain all medications to me and chat with me which helped relieve anxiety I had going into surgery. Beth my day nurse in observation was wonderful. She was on top of pain management and very sweet and caring. Annie my night nurse went over my plan of care and always told me when she would be back in my room. I always knew what was going on. Again, she had me verify my name and date of birth verbally before giving any medications which made me feel safe with her care. These nurses are very good at what they do and it surely shows. My room was sparkling clean. There was no noise during the night so I was able to get good sleep. Thank you Northside!

Registration with Yulonda was very professional.
Every staff member in the Radiation department were outstanding. The doctor that was doing the bone marrow biopsy came to explain every detail.
Alex assist him to the recovery room was so pleasant. Kevin stood by us like we were family.
My "Hempstead Hero" (security guard) changed a flat tire for me.
Blessings to each and every one of you.

Recently had my baby here . The staff is great . From the time I arrived until the time I left everything was literally perfect . I had to have an Cesarean so I needed extra and special care and I got just that . Dr. Sarah Jeffers delivered my baby & she did a great job with my procedure and made me feel very relaxed even though I was scared out of my mind . The women in my postpartum room were phenomenal. My nurses Danielle and Erin were beyond amazing . I also had a great Tech name Danielle . They all made my stay so comfortable. They were very attentive and caring . They made sure I had everything I needed and even went above what was ask . My experience here will forever be an unforgettable moment thanks to them .

I had the unfortunate opportunity to need the services of this facility. I say unfortunate, because no one wants to be told they need surgery. That's where the unfortunate part ends.
Yesterday I had to visit with the finance team to ensure I was going to ba able to pay for the surgery. They were WONDERFUL! This was likely the most unpleasant part of the experience (only because it hurts the wallet no matter what), but the staff were kind and considerate, taking time to ensure I was comfortable with what my end was going to be financially. Completely satisfied.
Next, the pre screening for anesthesia. These nurses were top notch and kind as well. Second to none. They took the time to ensure everything would go smoothly for me as well as keeping me safe in the process.
Today, the surgery. Getting admitted for the surgery was a bit confusing as I was told different things by different employees, however, the problem was quickly resolved and I was admitted quickly once resolved (a minor miscommunication amongst Northside and an outside medical office).
Next the pre op team. Wow. What an amazing crew. They made me feel like family, really. At one point someone stopped in and asked "what is all this laughing going on" and then joined in. And that was before the meds were even started!
The surgery was an outside team, and they were great, but that's for another page.
Lastly, I can't go without mentioning ALL of the wonderful men and women that were at every location making sure the proper paperwork was in the proper place. Each and every one of them made sure I understood what was going on and that I was taken care of every step of the way. Without them, this process would have been much more daunting and I am quite sure I wouldn't be writing this review.
A big "thank you" to Northside Hospital for the wonderful experience. Please keep up the good work and know that it is appreciated.

I had a robotic lip rod optic hysterectomy. My doctor provided excellent care and service. In fact, every Nurse, doctor, anesthesiologist, student anesthesiologist, departure staff and security were AWESOME! I felt well taken care of and everything was clean, comfortable and just great customer service! Admission was a breeze and the two ladies that check for COVId at the main entrance were Amazing and very helpful! Overall I had a 5 star ⭐️ treatment and I’m greatly appreciative for your staff!

Review from 10/2019: Tamara cared for me as if she was my mom and showed our daughter so much love. I felt blessed to have received care from her on both nights of my stay. My nurses during the day didn't check or look at half of the things that she did to ensure that we were cared for. My only complaint is that my daughter didn't receive the appropriate tag on her ankle until the second night so someone could have taken her and we would not have known. That was disappointing but again Tamara caught it when it slipped by so many others and it wasn't her responsibility to when nurses had my daughter in the infant rooms while I slept. I would always want Tamara for my every need and concern if I ever had to return. Other staff made sure to assist me with walking, they were friendly and smiled.

My wife delivered our first child at the Atlanta campus in early October. We interreacted with 20+ hospital employees during our 4 day stay, and were continuously impressed with the high level of care provided by everyone who worked with us. In the delivery room, Sharon made sure my wife was as comfortable as possible throughout the labor process. In recovery, Fay, Jordan, Karen, and Ali helped us navigate the first few days of parenthood. The hospital was run in an efficient manner, and all facilities were clean. If you are having a baby in metro-Atlanta, I strongly encourage you to have him/her at one of Northside's three locations.

I delivered my daughter here and was treated wonderfully, my nurses were very attentive and considerate of me and my wishes. The food was very decent and service was always prompt.
I usually don't like the way nurses handle newborns but i must say they were gentle and sweet to my daughter, they were extremely attentive when my cesarean scar began to open.
I would definitely recommend this hospital for delivery and labor, my experience was very pleasant.

I traveled across the country to have my surgery with Dr Sinervo. The staff are so professional, organized and attentive. My night nurse Brittany, was in particular the best nurse I have ever had. She is very calming and focused on the patients needs. I felt very well cared for and would recommend Northside Hospital to anyone.

Had hip surgery a few days ago. Everything from the staff was top notch and made me feel very comfortable and it was my first time having surgery. Nurses were fantastic, Doctors were fantastic and everyone at desks or getting me situated always had a smile and were very helpful. They really made a tough experience much easier and words cannot express how appreciative to I am about everything they did for me.
Thanks! You’re the best!

Wait was horrible. Took about 5 hours to be seen. Staff was great though once we were in the room. Thank you Mary, Brandy, Johnathan, and all the others (sorry I tried to remember as many names as I could). You guys were awesome and I appreciate all you do!

My fiance has stayed well over a month there since the start of the year. Every nurse I have encountered personally or talked with or over heard talking with her have been nothing but kind, caring, and helpful. Lachone on the second floor is incredible. Tanya at the surgery ground floor desk is amazing and Dr. Abdalla is literally the best humanity has to offer. I am so thankful she has been cared for there. Thanks Northside!
Melissa DeGuillen
I was so hesitant to go to the hospital for my medical problem because I had no insurance. My fear was I would go, get a huge bill and nothing be resolved. I was 100% mistaken. From the moment I stepped through the door of the emergency room everyone was so very helpful, caring, professional and very thorough in my care. I ended up being hospitalized 6 days and having to have a surgical procedure done and having a blood transfusion. From the doctors, nurses, PCTs, housekeeping, food service, surgical team, physical therapist and fitter, I have never had such consistent caring team helping me. I especially give a shout out to Coretta a PCT for her great personality, she made me laugh when I was in so much pain and it helps so much to distract you from yourself and your fears. Quiana in food service went above and beyond making sure this picky eater had something to eat. Paula in housekeeping was such a sweet person and great listener...(I'm a talker). Nurses: Jeff, Tam, Ra'monique, Gambrelle, Sonny, Thess, Dorothy were very helpful and professional. Great team of people from start to end.

I delivered my baby 08/23/2021 and I had the best experience with my staff assigned to me. My RN at night was Tamera she was the best, we bonded so well I wished I would’ve exchanged social media information at the end of my stay. She let me be myself which can throw people off because I’m very comfortable with nudity and she allowed me to be me. Then Mrs. Marlene was great she gave off that motherly vibe. Mrs. Denise was great and Mrs. Daphanie was amazing. There was a lady training under Tamera name Jamaya who was so down to earth, I wish her all the success. The lactation specialist we’re very helpful in assisting me with adjusting my son to take my bigger than normal nipples lol. I also had another RN who worked the nights name Mary who was the sweetest person you could ever meet. My morning RN was Stephanie she was so nice and professional. I truly enjoyed my stay, they collectively made my experience one to remember.

I had my two sons here. The delivery process went really well. The nurses are really attentive, they check on you and the baby to make sure you doing good. Their food is great, and lets me just say you choose out of their menu. They put everything you might need in your room as well as extra things so that your stay be as comfortable as possible. When you call from your room for assistance you get help right away. I love this hospital💜
Nita Vasudevan
Smooth labor and delivery process and had the pleasure of working with some amazing L and D nurses who were so compassionate (Julieanny we owe you!). Newborn care after delivery was spotty and depends on the quality of your nurse but Latoya overnight was our little angel! All transporters, staff snd even tv engineer were very kind.
Xochil R. Buchholz
I didn’t think I would write a review for Labor and Delivery, but I had to brag somewhere. I was so anxious to deliver here because it’s known as the “baby factory” and you will get minimal attention and care from how busy they are. Our experience was the opposite! Every nurse expect one made us feel heard and taken care of. We were spoiled with things to take home to make transition easier, there was effective communication, and ALL the staff including cleaning were kind and supportive. So if you are hesitant, don’t be! This place was wonderful.

I have a laparoscopic removal on Endometriosis and my appendix removed. My doctor was Dr. Sinervo and he was AMAZING! He prayed with me before my surgery which he did ask ahead of time and he held my hand until I was out under. The nurses were absolutely amazing after surgery. They helped me in every way possible. They checked in on me quite often and when I pressed the nurse cal button they came to my room within a minute to help me. I have had 8 surgeries and this was by for the best hospital experience that I’ve ever had!

We are kaiser patients and was told when my wife got pregnant that we had a choice between here and Emory. Based off of word of mouth from Family and Friends, we chose here. I can't come up with words about how wonderful our experience was. My wife had a complicated pregnancy and was scheduled for induction at 37 weeks. We had a hard time getting confirmation on our induction date, but after mentioning it to her doctor, the situation was quickly fixed. We were scheduled on July 5th and was told that they would call us when a bed became available. We got the call around 4:30 pm on July 5th to come in at 6:30pm. We were put in a room almost immediately. We started the induction that evening at 7:30pm, but made little progress. After 3 days and several induction methods that failed, we were told that my wife would have to have a csection. All of the doctors, nurses, techs, and surgeons were MAGNIFICENT. They explained everything step by step and took excellent care of my wife throughout our entire 1 week stay. We will forever deliver all of our children at Northside.

I had a great experience at this hospital, the service and people are really nice!!

Being from another state on business and ending up in the hospital is scary. The team here made the experience so much easier and comfortable. The nurses and doctors were all caring and considerate. My husband had to be admitted for several days and everyone was very accommodating. The food is great, not near what I expected for hospital food. We wouldn’t have had better care back home.
Solomon Donica
This hospital is clean, great service and caring nurses. This hospital took good care of me. The doctors are amazing. The cardiologist doctors was great. The gasterologist are great. they all was good to me & my family. The only thing I didn't like was the nurse techs. They were lazy & really didn't want to help u. They come in your room u ask them for things & some take all day to do it. They need techs that have experience.

Professional concerned Surgeons answered all my questions and really had me at ease with the procedure that I’m about to have!
Albert Debelbot
Hospital and staff are great. They treat you with amazing care. I live about 45 minutes away and would always take that long of a drive to get treatment at this wonderful hospital. Thank you Northside Hospital & Staff!
Rachel J. Hayes
Had a pleasant, safe, sanitary and accommodating experience during my overnight stay after surgery back in Oct.! Shout out to Jessiel, Chelsea, Lisa, Jenny, Jeanne, Denise P. & Denise S. These ladies went over and beyond to make me comfy when my pain was at its worst.
Jacques Bonaparte
The medical staff is great, but they make it a headache to pay them after the fact. It takes 3 minutes of automated assistant interaction to get to a musical hold queue, to wait several more minutes, just for someone in accounts receivable to NOT answer the phone. It's like they don't want my money. They're putting obstacles in place to prevent me from paying them. Maybe they're really just in this medical business for the love?
Craig White
Great doctors, but the people who are at the front are rude. Not very helpful when you're taking your wife to have a planned C-section.
Cheryl Glover
Took my husband for a procedure here. All of the staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Nurse Sasha was a joy and so caring. I was impressed with everyone who helped us.

Have had 3 babies here. Why hasn't the hospital invested in making patients more comfortable? I could give a long list of things that infrastructurally need improvement. I'll give just 3: our hospital door hasn't been oiled in 2 years. How do I know? Because it sounded like the door was creeking in a seyonxe every time it opened waking both mother and child. Second everything is sticky. Even the pull out bed was wet. Third the TP holder has enough corrosion it can't even hold the TP. Like, that should cost 30 cents to replace.
Despite being in recovery floor 1 for 5 hours momma was not served dinner. Nurse simply said, "I don't know what's going on." Never once offered a menu or food. We repeatedly asked. Finally in desperation grabbed the take out book which hasn't been updated in years because I wrote a note in it 4 years ago and it was still there. The Chinese restaurant was long ago closed. Like is there not one person whose job it is at this hospital to make people more comfortable and advocate for proper resources, feed people, and keep basic amenities higher than a motel 6 with bed 🪲 bugs?
If you stay here order in Chin Chin Chinese. Driver goes extra mile.

Amazing hospital with an amazing staff. Everyone made me feel so comfortable with me getting surgery. They treated my best friend also like family. Had outpatient surgery and everything went well.

I've spent a lot more time in this hospital than I'd like but have always had a good experience. I've had multiple major surgeries there. They're team approach to care (pain management, wound/Ostomy nurses, nutritional services - even environmental services) is top notch Oh, and the IV team I can't say enough about the staff and management on the GI floor and the post op GI staff. I was just admitted through the ER 3 weeks ago and they were efficient as well Its a long drive but worth it

Northside and God saved my sister back in 2014. I'll always recommend them highly. Neurologist Dr Morrison and is staff were amazingly awesome. I'll never forget how they treated us. My sister had a subdural hematoma. To this day, youcannot tell. Thank you, thank you, thank you.❤

Right at a year ago I went to their emergency room with severe lower right abdominal pain, and within minutes they had me CT scanned and ready for an emergency apendectomy. However the CT scan showed only an abscess so I was admitted for observation, and treatment with anti biotics. The drugs worked well so I was released two days later. Everyone that I saw over my stay was very professional. The room I stayed in was super nice, and the food was great too.

I had a good experience when giving birth to my first child. I didn't love all the nurses but I did receive good care. There was a nurse named Tonya who was amazing and if you get her as your nurse you are lucky. I also thought the food was good but maybe its because I was starving. We sent my little one to the nursery the first night and every time we went to the nursery a nurse was holding her. Overall it was a good experience. I give 1 star to the business office. Do not pay 1 penny until all of your insurance has paid .My secondary insurance was supposed to pay me but sent the check to northside after I paid my bill in full. Now I have been fighting for 1 month to get my $4000 refund. After multiple calls someone took my card number to refund me but still hasn't done it. May have to get a lawyer involved.

I have had two surgeries at Northside Hospital. Both times, the nurses had an EXTREMELY difficult time getting my IV in. I was stuck multiple times both times. Usually I am very easy to get an IV in, so it is interesting that they had such a difficult time. A bigger issue for me was although I had insurance, I received a call the day before my surgery that I had to pay $5000.00 the day before the surgery or they would not be able to perform the surgery. Since I was in pain and had to have the surgery, I paid the $5000.00. Once I had the surgery, I still had a balance that insurance did not cover. I received a hostile call from their collections department telling me that I had to pay them $4000.00 per month on my account because insurance did not pay 100%. At the time of this call I had not even received a statement reflecting what I owed. Obviously, I did not give them $4000. per month as they insisted but I did pay them payments each and every month until I paid them out in full. In the future, if I must have surgery I will definitely ask my doctor if he can perform the procedure at a different hospital due to the way the accounting department was unprofessional and ruthless. I had resisted doing a negative review on the hospital but recently a friend of mine received the same treatment so I feel confident that I was not an isolated situation. Again, I received great medical care from the staff and my surgeon was awesome. My problem was the collections or billing department. They are ruthless and do not care that what they are asking on your payment plan is unrealistic. Their response is "You have to pay this because you have a big balance and your payment depends on your balance". Even if a person has a big balance you have to be prepared to accept realistic payments from your patients. Definitely do your financial homework with this hospital before using them, even if you have insurance.

My daughter was admitted after a trip to ER determined she had Pneumonia. Her stay was three day's. The hospitality from ALL staff we encountered was phenomenal!! The entire hospital was very clean, the temperature was comfortable and every one seemingly shared the same friendly mood. My entire family has agreed if we must go to a Hospital, it will be NorthSide Hospital 👍. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her stay and the care of the staff there.😊 thank you NorthSide!!!

The staff here in General Medicine are phenomenal. They took great care of me on my visit after being admitted for 36 hours.
Huge thanks to Shakeema, Heidi, Andrea, Nicole, Lisa, Sandra, Cindy and all the other spectacular people that nursed me back to good health. I am forever grateful to you all. Thank you and continue on with the excellent service that you all commit a huge part of your lives to! God Bless you all!
Tina Harris-Lewis
The nurses were spectacular and the doctors very thorough and kind. The nutrition department, nurse's assistants, and housekeeping were all very friendly and helpful. I had one incident with one nurse that was not assigned to me, but we are human so we make mistakes. Overall I received great care.

Yesterday, ( July 28, 2020) I checked in the ER after leaving my Obgyn to have surgery for an ectopic pregnancy. I was greeted and treated with such care that I’ve never experienced at any other hospital. This was my first pregnancy, so I was an emotional wreck.. Then I met a RN name Sheila who worked in the ER dept. She was truly an Angel from heaven. She talk to me about her personal experiences about losing a child before which made me feel so much better. She gave me so much hope and made my heart smile! Having her by my side especially since no one else could come in the hospital with me (due to Covid 19) made me feel at peace about my situation. Tears filled my eyes because it was such a beautiful sight to witness a person working in the health care field that genuinely cares about people as a whole. I felt like I had my mom on my side. Thank you Shelia . I’ll never forget how you made me feel as I set there feeling empty. Your kind words kept me going . I couldn’t thank her enough!!

You’ll get excellent care at Northside Hospital but be careful not to OVERPAY your deductible or out of pocket maximum. I had several tests prior to cancer treatment which all required large upfront payments. I paid more than my out of pocket maximum but I assumed the hospital would reimburse me. Now I’m finding out that all treatment must be paid by the insurance company before they will refund me. Because I have on going treatment and new claims being filed every month, I hope this to all be settled by March 2020— which is nearly a year after we made the overpayment.

Years ago I VOWED I would never use Northside, EVER, again. Their billing dept was nothing short of criminal shysters and the hospital just so fragmented you couldn't get anywhere.
Boy have they turned that around!!!! I had to have hip surgery this past summer, and I was trying everything I could to avoid Northside. I came up empty so I just thought I'd bear it out. I can't believe how great they are now! The hospital even seems brighter. Everyone seems on top of everything. The nurses are FANTASTIC! And billing - wow! EVERYONE in billing knows what's going on! They're friendly and professional and able to explain things very plainly.
I CAN'T EVEN BELIEVE IT! THIS HOSPITAL IS ACTUALLY GREAT!
I would definitely come here again AND recommend it to anyone!
KEEP IT UP, NORTHSIDE!!
Rebecca Dover
I was admitted through ambulance ER and I was quickly checked in. The nurses and registration employees were very nice and accommodating. I did not feel rushed. I was helped without judgement. I was in and out in 3 hours, test performed and with a prescription to help until I could see my doctor. I was very thankful for the people that assisted me. I hope i don't go back, but if I am in need, this is where I will go.

I was undecided in the beginning of my pregnancy on what hospital to deliver baby. I received soooo many recommendations to Northside. I am so relieved I made that decision and transferred to Northside switching OBGYNs was a pain but it was totally worth it. I delivered a healthy baby boy on Wednesday. The staff there was all extremely friendly. All of them went beyond their expectations to make sure all of my needs were met. They all made sure I was comfortable and that baby and I was all set to go home with tons of supplies and tons of support back at home. Anika in the women’s center was our nurse for 2 nights straight and she was truly a blessing. I felt really safe and comfortable with her. I will forever be thankful for everyone that assisted my family and I throughout the transition as well. Keep up the excellent work! Thank you Northside Hospital for the delivery of our baby boy! We will forever be grateful.

A very mixed visit for the birth of our child. Many if the nurses and staff were amazing, caring people. But the hospital had recently switched to a new online tracking system and it was clear that everyone wasn't trained and there were a lot of bugs. No one seemed to be able to find anything in the new system, which was very frustrating for us as new parents. Come some other time, and I'm sure it's great, just not last weekend.

I had a procedure done on the 29 of July and besides the outstanding work of Dr White. I also wanted to thank the amazing nurses at Northside Hospital in Atlanta. Nurse Brittany, Nancy and Amber as well as Denise the tech, they were extremely professional, and caring I felt I was their number one priority.
Danny OHarrow
My wife had hip replacement surgery at Northside Hospital. She is in the medical field and researched various doctors and hospitals before choosing Dr John Henry and Northside. In addition to my wife's preoperative consultation with the doctor, the hospital provided a preoperative briefing for me, as the caregiver, and my wife that detailed what to expect and how to care for my wife. Beginning with the day we checked in until when we checked out of the hospital two days later, all the hospital staff and medical personnel were very friendly and professional. The nurses were excellent and always answered our questions and were always immediately available if needed. We both would highly recommend Dr John Henry, Northside and the Northside medical personnel and staff to anyone.

Service us great...food sucks...we get better fast food...you will definitely lose weight
Caitlyn Christoff
I apologize in advance if I forgot some of the doctors and nurses names but since I’ve been admitted to Northside Hospital for my reaction to an epidural I had for a spinal injury the medical staff has been nothing but accommodating. My nurses , Amanda, Charles and Danielle were very caring and helpful my entire stay along with the doctors of course !!
Tiah Westover
I got in a car accident last week and was so impressed with the staff, nurses, PA, Insurance people... EVERYONE from check in to check out! They were so kind! They seemed to genuinely care. Unlike many hospitals, they seemed aware of my time and were efficient while remaining thorough! I watched them treat others with the same kindness and respect they treated me with! So grateful!
Hope Crall
Not only are they currently saving my dad's life at the BMT unit, but the every member of the staff is so kind, compassionate & helpful. I think we have met everyone associated with this unit by this point but I would like to give a special shout out to Charles at the front desk. He has kindly helped me out in the past with such a cheerful attitude that stood out but today he got on the phone with a friend of the family who was lost & directed them to where we were! This was above & beyond! Thank you, Charles! I am ever grateful!
Addendum: And our dealings with billing have been smooth & knowledgeable. And the food here is much better than any hospital I've ever stayed at.

I was taken directly to an emergency patient room as I has passed out twice. My trearge was fast with staff and doctors. Last time I was in a hospital getting to X-ray was a shuttle through hallways and an elevator ride. Not so with Northside, everything is on the main emergency floor. No elevator ride. Yea!
Staff and doctors spoke to me, not down to me.
Much to my surprise my room is private.
Waiting for more tests today. Will report back
Tomorrow.

After suffering from a bartholins cyst for the past few days which was the most severe pain I've ever felt, I finally went to the ER at Northside. What a great experience!
I accidentally went to the wrong entrance and the security guard could see I was in pain and called for a golf cart to come get me. I only had to wait in the lobby for about 10 minutes. The orderly also saw I was in pain and ran to get me a wheelchair. The nurses were all so compassionate and patient. One went to turn up the heat when she saw how cold I was. The nurse practitioner was super attentive and answered all my questions.
Everyone we came across was so nice and accommodating.
I was so nervous about going--my previous ER experience was at Kennestone in Marietta which was the WORST. Everyone there was rude, impatient--the doctor even laughed and told me to stop crying.
Northside reinstated my faith in ER services!

I’m so glad I had my son at Northside. Every single person I encountered was excellent. Dr. Leader and the nurses on her team were amazing. I hate that I can not remember their names. They made sure I was as relaxed and as comfortable as could be. They were so encouraging when it was time to push. I never once felt scared or unable thanks to them.
My nurses that took care of me after we’re Ms.Faye and Ms. Tamara. I can not praise them enough. They were both so unbelievably kind and attentive. Any questions I had they answered. If I had to call for something they were more than happy to help me.
My last day I was upset because my son had to stay longer than me. Tamara comforted me and reassured me that he would be well taken care of.
There was a lady who came by everyday to tidy up. I believe her name was either Tia or Gia. She was such a joy to see. She always came in with a smile and would talk to my mom or grandmother while she was cleaning up. Even the lady who brought my food during my stay was amazing.
If this comes to their higher ups, please let them know how amazing they are.
My Rules My Life
Had a excellent delivery here except for one incompetent nurse who was assigned to me during labor. She didn't care about my request, pain or needs. Luckily she was sent to lunch and I was saves by the sweetest older woman who made it much easier. The hospital itself is nice along with all the other staff I had during my stay. They made sure I had more then I needed and I trusted them with my little one because they were very attentive. I havw moved to buford but i will be back in a few weeks for our new edition!! They make it feel like a mini vacation. I recommend them to everyone and so far no hospital can compare.Food was great too! (Thats rare)

Medical staff are very nice and helpful, I took one star due to the lady doing our registration; she was very UNPROFESSIONAL and rude. Other then that my experience was fantastic. My baby had to spend a few days at the NICU but the staff was fantastic and did a great job taking care of her!
Darlene Miller
Had a good experience with Spencer Prince in our Human Resources Department..He went above and beyond. I know your job can be tough… You should be so proud of yourself. You’re amazing!!!!!!!!

I LOVEEE this hospital. The emergency room is fast and the doctors are great and understanding. I also had my daughter here 8 years ago. Greatest care any patient could ask for I tell you. I live in Decatur now and I still drive all the way to the Northside to get care.

Good service. Would give 4 stars with minus rather than 3 stars with plus. 1 star is taken off because of intrusive additional services along the stay, and inappropriate requests from external people (big question how they get that close to patients and why they are allowed to use medical uniform?!). Also some serious routine protocol mistakes done during the stay (like fully forgetting about patient and leaving without prescription medication for long hours). Useless and very annoying lactation specialists. (Where did they find personnel that identical?:)) Still overall service standard is quite good, and routine service (most difficult part!) outside some flaws was of a good quality. There still some space for improvement, but I would recommend to use their services. Hope critic here could be seen as constructive.

Fantastic team of people! I was so well cared for by each nurse, technician, doctor and every person from janitorial, food staff and security personnel. My family had a great experience with staff in the waiting room too. No fun to go to a hospital for medical issues, but the wonderful people at Nothside make it the best place to go!

I'm a first time grandmother. Watching my daughter give birth to her 1st born child was amazing. I will say the nurses could use some training in how they treat grandparents. It's as if they have no respect for the position we are about to take on in the childs life. Don't get me wrong, I'm certain they've come across some tiring sitiations with family members. The nurses are demeaning, rude and downright disrespectful. In calming my daughters fears and preparing her for labor. I explained to her how the nurses will be the best part of the ordeal. I've always known nurses to be the calm in the middle of the storm. Northside hospital nurses....are the storm. They are tired and aggravated. A couple of the nurses were condescending and sarcastic. Two of the nurses had absolutely no idea what they were doing. Thankfully our first nurse only had 30 mins left on her shift. It was the scariest 30 mins of our lives. She was so tired, we thought we might have to put off my daughters contractions and have her get up and give the nurse her bed. Boy, did that IV go bad. My heart hurt watching her miss that vein. The next nurse (whom we first thought was a brighter light) just turned out to be a timed light. She burned out within minutes. Nothing she said made any sense. She'd left us all looking at one another in so much confusion. We just stopped asking her questions. I promised myself I wouldn't use any names in this review. I must use a description though. There was a nurse, a beautiful Queen that wore a head wrap as if it were her own crown. She spoke in this sweet soft voice. She would drop into the room every now and then. She would bring this beautiful, calm and collected spirit with her. I mean, this nurse knew exactly what to do and at all the right times. It was if my daughter was her own. She would slowly whip around the room, touching this and gathering that. Every move she made was to ensure a need of my daughters had been met. She set the table with all of the tools the doctor would need to bring our grandbaby into the world. She was so graceful and made sure to make pleasant small talk with myself, my husband and our daughters wife. Everytime she left the room and left us with the attending nurse, a dark cloud would take over. She came back during delivery and posed as a wonderful cheerleader offering positive words of encouragement. We are appreciative of her and the hospital for having her on their staff. I will say for the most part, I'm happy our gbaby made it here safe and sound, but the Northside experience just wasn't what I thought it would be. I was shocked at how much money goes into keeping the grounds. Yet how little money goes into keeping the maturnity unit updated. My daughter said the very last nurse she had was a very nice nurse. I missed out on meeting her, as I had gone ahead to get dinner cooked for my daughter and her daughters arrival home. Our gbaby was born exactly one week and one day ago. We are enjoying her little life. So for that Northside, I say....THANK YOU!!
Vicki Williamson
This is by far the BEST hospital ever! From admissions to billing to the floor: nurses, orderlies, techs, and physicians. They are the most "customer service oriented" hospital ever. They exhibit empathy and compassion but also have the technical skills and knowledge to take care of anything. Over the last two years I've had 3 surgeries (2 of which were inpatient) and 1 procedure completed there and have been extremely pleased.
Doug Roy
My wife had a heart procedure at Northside Hospital this week and the whole experience was great from the start as the doctor came in to check on how she was doing to the nurse who was there after the heart procedure was done. The whole team did a great job from Dr. Champney to the nurse whose name is JoAnn who is a very sweet and caring person . So in closing we could have gone to any hospital as we live in the North Georgia mountains which is about a one and half hour drive but she wanted to go to Northside hospital over the other hospital in Gainesville ,

I have had 6 of my 7 children at Northside Atlanta. I can honestly say that I have never felt more love and support from a group of strangers EVER in my life. The Nurses who helped take care of me during Labor & Delivery and after were always amazing. They respected my wishes to breastfeed and provided so much support during my stay at the hospital. I can remember on Christmas Day when my water broke and I didn't think I could make it to Atlanta from Cobb County, I went to Kennestone in fear of having my baby in the car and was so disrespected and treated so poorly that I left still in active Labor and drove to Northside where I had my daughter shortly after I arrived and felt like I had made it home. I am expecting a grandbaby now and hopefully we can continue the tradition.
James Tobias
Received medical care at the ER and then the hospital for 4 days for an obstructed bowel. All of the nurses, employees, and doctors at Northside were professional and helpful in my scenario. I had a pleasant experience for what I would consider a very unpleasant life event. I would not hesitate to come back to this facility if I have issues again in the future.
Arnecia Bush
The staff was pleasant and professional. The wait time was great! We felt important and we were well taken care of !! The best place to go in an emergency!!! I gave birth to my daughter there and it was phenomenal!!! I recommend this hospital to everyone!!!

Northside I have to say is one of the better hospitals in the Atlanta area. They are very big on customer service. From what I hear employees like the pay rate. Which most say is above average. They take pride in keeping a very clean campus. Parking isn't always the best or most convenient but they have taken strides to assisting with getting to the hospital from their various parking locations. They have shuttles for employees and golf carts for patients to get to the main entrances. They work hard at supplying the best equipment that they can and their OBGYN Wing is one of the best in the nation.

My grandmother has been in icu and the nurses have been just wonderful. They have taken such good care of her and everything we have asked they have been very patient and informative. I really appreciate Heather who had been absolutely wonderful the past few days!! Thank you so much for taking care of my grandmother!!
D'Andre Hemingway
Lauren and Angela are the best RNs at this establishment. Labor and delivery are extremely lucky to have these two nurses and are very valuable. My wife was given the upmost respect and was treated very kindly post c section delivery. They answered every question and helped to educate us on topics we did not have knowledge on. Thank you for helping us bring our baby boy into this world!

I had the pleasure of being a guest at Northside 2 times this month. Both times I was a guest for a week long stay. I had the best experience during a very scary time. All of the staff from the Doctor to the porter were very helpful and kept me in great spirits. I stayed the first week on the 7th floor and the following visit was on the 6th floor. Great size rooms and awesome people working.

Excellent service and staff. THE NURSES on 4c were awesome. Had a vsg with Dr Paul Macik and felt 0 pain when I woke up. Staff members were exceptional !!! It was like a stay at the Marriott hotel 😁. I was so pleased from the 5:30am check-in to the next day discharge. I can't say enough how pleased I am with this hospital and staff. Even the housekeeper was nice. Everyone loved there job and wanted to help.
Sabrina Merli
I'd give it 10 🌟 if possible.
Since the minute I was admitted for an induction I have been treated like royalty, everyone is soooooo nice and always asking if they can get me anything else. The food is great, the tech's, nurses and housekeeping have gone above and beyond to make me feel right at home.
I highly recommend this hospital to everyone.
I've also had a family member admitted in the past for a stroke and he was treated just the same as me.

This hospital is excellent by the highest standards I have ever seen...all the staff treat you like family and go above and beyond...this tech helping my Mother with all her needs and questions was incredibly helpful, sweet, good natured and amazing in every way! She to us was like a Angel in the sky who came to help and treat my Mom the sweetest I had ever seen! Her name was CiCi! What a God send! Go to this hospital if you or your family want to be treated like royalty and family!

Our son was a surprisingly quick labor. We were set and prepared to deliver at Emory, but on February 28th, 2016, he decided he needed to be here NOW. Northside was the closest hospital to us at that juncture in time, with contractions coming every 5 minutes. We got checked in so quickly, and our nurses (Ryan and her team leader, and another absolute darling whose name escapes me at the moment) tended to every concern I had. Dr. Aspuru is PHENOMENAL as well. I came in with so much pain, I was in tears. Our incredible care team took great pains to make sure I was made as comfy as possible. They encouraged, soothed, and cheered me on. My son was born in two pushes and although I had never received care at Northside before this day, it felt like I delivered with FAMILY.
I would recommend this hospital to anyone. I'm going to switch my doctors so I can receive all care here!
Rudy Garcia
Went to the ER for short of breath and dizzyness; the front desk person was quick and attentive. They were able to run tests and explain the results so that I did not need a medical degree to understand. Dr.O and RN Jessica were kind and professional. I was lucky to find this hospital as I am from California out on a business trip.
Juanita Macklin
Hands down I love the birthing center. I have had all but one child there. Now there are some bad apples (nurses/doctors) there. That will leave a really bad taste in your mouth. Yet the others (nurses and doctors) are amazing. I would refer anyone to the women center. On the other hand. I wouldn't refer a soul to the emergency department. I went in to the emergency room, because I had trouble breathing. Due to an severe allergic reaction to nuts. They took forever to get me triage. I just left and went elsewhere, so that I could get the medical assistance I needed. Do not use the emergency!!!!! Women center👍👍👍!!!

Regarding the Labor & Delivery Hospital
This hospital is clearly not “baby-friendly.”. (Nor are they “mother-friendly.”). They do not encourage breastfeeding, there is no information on the risks of not choosing the biological norm, nor is there any information on how breastfeeding is beneficial for both moms and babies. Considering this is a major health risk and a huge push from the World Health Organization, it is shocking that when moms choose to forgo the biological norm, they are not once advised of their risks in so doing— those risks include greater risk of SIDS, greater risk of death from infectious disease, greater risk of chronic disease including life-threatening ones like asthma and food allergies, and even risk of cancer for mom and baby. The risks to mom for delayed postpartum hemmorage is not ever mentioned either.
It should be hospital policy to at least advise moms of the risks of formula, and to have them actively read the ingredients of the formula the hospital has on hand, and sign a risk waiver and a consent to give formula. When a mom opts out of any hospital policy— hep B for baby, Tdap for mom, vit K for baby, etc— she will sign a risk waiver and will have someone discuss those risks with her. Why not for something that is even more crucial in terms of long term individual and public health?

When i went here to deliver back in December the visit was wonderful everyone was helpful. The part that really upset me is when i got ready to leave the hospital worker that was helping me and my son get down stairs he didnt take the time to adjust my baby straps in the carseat and he was hurting my sons arms trying put him in the seat and buckle him up he was almost close to cutting my sons ankle trying to get the alarm bracelet off his ankle. He was too ruff with my newborn. Do not leave alone. Make sure you have a family memeber or your husband or boyfriend to help you.

Long wait but had good experience at the women's center... Labor and delivery.

I came here Tuesday and from the Emergency to the staff on the fifth floor I was treated with the upmost respect, kindness and most of all their professional treatment surpass any hospital that I have been in since coming back to Georgia. I would recommend this hospital from the ER to the floor. Thank you for all the treatment I receive. Because of the staff my stay is a good one

I absolutely love Northside Hospital .. I had my beautiful baby boy here 3/22/18 and we were treated like family .. i almost didn't want to leave and go back into the real world lol 10 star facility minus the fact that McDonald's is the only thing to eat, cafe has weird hours. I am so thankful they made my experience so pleasant when I had so much stress at the time. Thanks Nurse Karen C and Angela from the NICU and Nurse Karen and Tech Anna and the whole 5th floor staff of women's center :)

My sister recently gave birth to her first child here. I was there for a few days and I thought the front office and nurses were exceedingly professional. I didn't really interact with the doctors, but I hear they are best in the country. Speaking with my sister, she said the same thing. I highly recommend considering this hospital for any major health-related actions needed.

The hospital is great! My husband went with a kidney stone pain and they got him right in trying to minimize his pain so he can get comfortable before doing anything else. The stuff is VERY professional, friendly and make you feel like they're there to help you. I will definilty come back here every time. YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!!

Seriously one of the friendliest staff teams I've ever met (women's center) ever since we arrived two days ago we've been checked up on very often to make sure we've had everything we needed before and after my wife's delivery. Of course no matter where you go there's a few bad eggs and we did have the displeasure to meet a few. They weren't around long enough to really affect us but did have a slight impact on the review. Some people just shouldn't work at a location when they know they have to deal with people on a daily basis.

Love this place. The entire staff from housekeeping to physicians are friendly and helpful. The nursing staff on the third floor are the most empathetic and compassionate people I have ever met. I have been here almost a week and have gotten the best care

I had my son in 2016. He came out 7 weeks early so he was in the hospital for 16 days. It was hard being in the hospital and not having my son in the room with me but while I was staying there for 4 days. The nurses took care of me and they made sure my baby was doing okay ever second. If it wasn’t for them. He wouldn’t be the cheerful baby he is now. I also want to thank Dr. Lopez-Zeno for watching over me for 13 weeks before having my son.

I was just discharged from Northside Hospital of Atlanta and I cannot say enough about the Drs., the Nursing staff, the Administration staff, the Housekeeping Staff and the Volunteers. From the ER to the Cardiac Unit on the 6th Floor to the Nuclear Science Dept. they were caring, professional, courteous and friendly. Even going from place to place within the hospital, staff had a friendly smile and a hello.
Thank you so much for taking such good care of me! I really appreciate you all!

I was treated with kindness and professionalism from the moment I entered the er, till I was dropped at my car by security the following night. Every single staff member from janitorial to Dr was wonderful. If you have to be hospitalized, you want to be at Northside.
Andrew K
A big shout out to my pre op nurse Heidi from Vidalia and My post op nurse Marilyn. Your empathy and kindness was appreciated

This is a disgusting and conniving facility. They quoted me for one service, but charged me for several services, more than doubling my bill. It was never explained to me that more than the one service I was quoted for was being performed and I was never asked if it was okay to do so. If I had known how expensive it would actually turn out to be I would have not gotten the ultrasound, which is probably why they didn’t tell me. Now they will not lower the bill even though they lied to me. This entire industry is corrupt, taking advantage of sick and desperate people to make an extra buck, but this facility in particular is the worst experience I have ever had with a hospital. There is no transparency and it’s unethical in my opinion. My advice is to steer clear at all costs!
UPDATE: After posting this review on their Facebook page, I was contacted by their customer service manager, who apologized and helped me apply for their financial assistance program. I ended up qualifying to have my fees covered. I'm only upgrading from one star to three because they were still originally dishonest, and if I had not qualified for the financial aid (which I'm sure many do not) I would have still had to pay the full amount. If you are in a similar situation with them, I suggest leaving a negative review on their Facebook page because their customer service phone line is a joke and the representative I spoke with when I called was rude and unhelpful. I shouldn't have had to resort to negative reviews to get good service, but at least in the end it worked out in my case.

Everyone I came in contact with was serving with a smile. They make you feel like family. Hospital was very clean the rooms are spacious with enough room for your loves can stay with you if you desire.

My daughter was born here and from the pre-labor hospital tour to the week of after-care that I needed, Northside's Labor & Delivery staff always thought of everything. Their nurses are superbly kind and efficient. Their medical billing staff is very patient with knowing that finances come last when dealing with having a baby. Their location is generally pristine and very centrally located. Since then, multiple friends and family members have been recommended to deliver there and have! I also love their giftshop and mother's area where you can get everything from a breast pump to balloons!

I love delivering at this hospital. Best hospital expierence hands down. I delivered 3 out of 4 of my babies at this hospital. I always leave feeling like they care and have my families best interest. The only reason i give it a four instead of a five is even if you use their obgyn women specialist center during pregnancy you have to pay ever visit for parking which is a bit much as most obgyn office parking is free. I wish they issued parking passes for the women center patients only. But for the quality and expierence in service it is worth it. Hospital is always extremely clean doesnt feel germ-a-phobic like other hospitals.

By far the BEST hospital I have EVER been to in my entire life!! I had my first child at Northside Hospital-Atlanta Location. The doctors and nurses (no matter what shift) are AMAZING!!! I have actually switched my OBGYN office because the doctor I went to no longer delivers at Northside. I refuse to have my next child at any other hospital.
I can honestly say I have never wrote a review on any website because it's just not something I do, but I absolutely had to write a review on this hospital!
YOU ROCK NORTHSIDE!!!!
Tom Mcknight
Great emergency room! Dr.Funk in the ER is the best. So was the attending nurse , I can’t remember her name..THE ONE THAT SAID DONT SAY THE Q WORD!! Quit around here .. lol..she was funny and great. So was the phlebotomists... funny guy too...as well as the radiology tech .. he gave my wife and daughter blankets..they were cold....Dr Funk did all the test. I had heart issues they got me in literally in minutes. He gave me a breathing treatment that I think made the heart issue go away. Was super quick super professional and very comfortable for a stressful situation... Thanks to all of you! The Mcknight family

I came to north side for pain in scrotum the nurse and doctors here are the best. I had surgery at Northside in Aug 2016. My stay was very pleasant. The hospital staff are professional, friendly, and caring. The food is EXCELLENT. I have never had hospital food and the selection thereof that meets this caliber. BRAVO!
Scott S.
This hospital is my number one choice for care in the Atlanta area. The staff is very caring, the doctors are extremely gifted, and the nurses are phenomenal! I've had close to 50 years of Atlanta experience and Northside has never disappointed me. If anything serious happens, I hope I'm close by!
Tracie Roberts
My son and girlfriend recently had their baby there. The staff couldn't be more nice and very informative. They truly love their job which I believe makes it their passion! Security is posted everywhere which makes you feel safe.
Kazumi Chellie
I love this hospital. No matter when I come, the staff is always friendly and caring. Check inis always speedy. Service is always thorough andFast. Never have issues with anything. I will be having my first child here. They have helped me with many first time mommy scares. Their delivery rooms are huge. They always ready you with respect. They have spoiled me, and I will never go to another hospital. (By choice)

Great hospital. #heroes🦸🏼♀️🦸🏿♂️ Be careful to double check if they are in network to your healthcare plan. Nurses are caring. 👩🏽⚕️👨🏿⚕️ Other Non-medical staff is respectful and polite. 👩🏻🏫
I would recommend this hospital for surgery. Parking can be a little difficult, plan ahead.

I love Northside. I have too many stories of how they took care of me and my family to count. That's not just the doctors' either, it's the nurses', the cafeteria staff, the medical records department and the business office. Really everyone. Thank you Northside!
Omolara S.
I had my baby here. Delivery suite was large and omfortable. My husband and son had a nice bed to sleep on. The staff were kind and helpful.
John Whitehill Jr.
After many people telling us to go with Northside for the birth of our first child, we took the plunge. We are half way to the bun in the oven being ready and I have to say all the midwives and doctors we have met with have been fantastic. There is nothing I can even say was mediocre. The only problem is the parking situation which you have to pay for. That's it. Will update when our little one gets here!
Casey Anderson
The nurses in the labor and delivery are super amazing, they would not let me lift a finger to do anything during my stay there. But I was not happy that my doctor she did not come and see me until day two after delivery and she said that she didn't know that I was there.
Sasha Victoria Dunn
This is my favorite hospital. I've been going here for years. In fact, I've gone out of my way, in the middle of the night sometimes, and past other facilities just to get to Northside.
The labor and delivery department is amazing. The meal selection could be better. I only say that because Emory offers steak dinners.
Anna Johnson
I had a surgical procedure done this week at Northside Hospital. Every staff member my husband and I interacted with was kind and caring. I was provided excellent care.
Regina “Gina” merritt
I have enjoyed every stay at Northside with labor and delivery. They have an awesome team and staff. They care for your needs. No bad attitudes. Good spirits inside and out of this hospital.
Midas Buado

My husband suffers from a vascular disease. Over the past 5 years, he has been in and out of this hospital. The only complaint I have is the patient pickup process. I should not have to pay 6 dollars because your staff cannot get my husband to the first floor in less than 30 minutes.
Keyta Banks
They really took care of me. And my nurse Andrew was OUTSTANDING!! He was very concern, patient, and kind. He did everything in his power to make sure his patients were happy.
Crystal Christian
My mom was here and Chris and Tiffany the techs on the 6th floor brought tears to my eye with how attentive they were with my mother's needs. I wasn't even a patient here and they were very nice to me asking if I needed anything. The entire staff was awesome but these two really stood out. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!
Laura White
I love this hospital!! The staff was so kind and caring. I’ve been in many hospitals and Northside is the best by far. I was so impressed with the cleanliness. I have all my treatments and surgeries done at Northside.
Logan Keller
I had to have surgery recently. I live in South Florida. By far, the best nursing care at night. Super polite. Every physician, amazing! Every nurse, amazing! I can't rave enough about the exceptional care I've gotten at Northside.
Brian DuCharm
A big shoutout to the ER team on staff yesterday who upon my arrival with an allergic reaction were attentive, friendly, and efficient. I was registered in minutes. Seen in less than 10 minutes and treated with a much needed dosage of steroidal medication to reverse the allergic reaction. Thanks to PA Rae, RN Thomas and Dr Ruby.
Jonathan Jordan

I had my daughter here and was thinking about having another baby here also. The service was AWESOME but I did not like how they took my daughter out of the room to "visit the nursery center or something" but I was too tired to fight it! Looking back, my daughter is a little detached sometimes. It took her a whole year to even lay her head on my shoulder or let me hold her at night. As compared to my son (born at Wellstar Cobb), they let me hold him all night if I wanted to, for the skin to skin contact. Looking back, he would let me hold him all night if I wanted to. I would like for them to pull away on their own instead of being forced by an institution. I'm sure there was a psychological reasoning behind it all. l would have given 5 stars if I could have monitored MY CHILD the ENTIRE time.

This hospital brought me into this world and made sure it wouldn't take me out! Saved my life a couple days ago thanks to the EXTREMELY kind and caring staff. Nothing but good things to say about this place, even the food is on point.
brandy
The ER staff was very attentive and seemed to genuinely care for their patients well-being.
River McKinney
Took maybe 10 mins in the waiting room after I have receptionist my information. Staff were very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I was in and out but mostly I was happy with the way I was treated, felt as if they cared and not just a patient.
Professor Kush
In the ER YOU HAVE PEOPLE IN PAIN BUT YET THEY PICK WHO GETS SEEN 1ST. NOT BY THE ORDER IN WHICH YOU CAME. Never again. They may be good for birthing but anything else your left to die.......
Penny Abdullah
I have a love and hate relationship with NSH ATLANTA. The nurses, physicians and staff are 5⭐️. However the ER team is the worst , they can be rude AF. I need a survey just for the ER team. Go there at night and they are miserable cause they have to work or they’re waiting to get off work. They need some coaching bad. I give them a ZERO in customer service!
Derwin Bryant
Received care at Georgia Eye Partners in Midtown and was extremely pleased with the professional & knowledgeable staff. I was confident that I was receiving care that ranked among the best practices in healthcare when managing the eyes and diseases affecting its normal functioning.
Nathan Wolf
DR.BENDECK IN ER DOES NOT TAKE CIGNA. I had to learn this the hard way when I got a surprise $550 bill in the mail months after going to the ER. Deal with her billing service is a pain. If she is your doctor ask for someone else.
Nicole Levin
I have come here for years!! Yes there are occasionally staff that probably shouldn't work in healthcare but I refuse to go to any other hospital I always get phenomenal care and top notch treatment i owe this hospital my life between cancer treatment several surgeries and brutall diabetes emergencies i love this place!!!!

I had an appt with Ginny a few days ago. And she was amazing! The check-in process was not the best, but my in store experience was wonderful. Ms. Gunny made me feel so relaxed & special! She was so informative, empathic, kind, personable, and patient. She really knew how to get the best items for me & I could tell she was an Expert with fittings.
She made me feel beautiful again!
Thank you Ginny

I delivered my baby here and it was such a great experience. Everyone was so attentive and knowledgeable. They respected my decisions and concerns and were very caring and friendly.

I went in for what I though was something simple and have been here almost a week. Everyone is on top of their game, super sweet and as nice as can be. Margaret has been here the whole time and explains everything why, and what I need for what reason. I could not have gone to a better place. Thank you everyone for helping save me.
