Doctors, nurses anyone I came in contact with were great! Registration calls ask me to come down to sign papers, it took no longer than 5 minutes. The sitters who sat with us during our stay were great with her. Could not asked for a better visit at a hospital considering the situation. Thank you Children's Healthcare of Atlanta

Do their best to accommodate your child's needs and staff in cath lab especially kit and then Steve and Jamie on the other side of the floor for our 2 night stay. Had bingo to occupy the kids. Only downside was cafeteria was way under stocked.

Last night I had to take my son to the ER, and to say that the experience was fantastic is an understatement. Even though they were up to their ears in patients and short staffed, they still did everything they could to make him comfortable, and they explained everything that they were doing in a way that he completely understood everything that was going on. Thank you to all the staff there tonight for turning a scary situation into one that wasn’t all that bad at the end. We appreciate you and everything you did for us tonight, and everything you have done in the past and will do in the future.

My son had a first -time seizure at 9:30 p.m. and the paramedics recommended that I take him to CHOA. The ER was overflowing with patients when we arrived at 11 p.m. Most of the patients were suffering from respiratory issues and there was nowhere to sit, so the nurses allowed us to wait in our vehicle in the parking garage which was much appreciated. He was triaged within an hour, but it took 12 hours to be seen by a doctor. It was difficult being awake all night, but I completely understand that patients with life threatening situations take priority. (My son's vitals were fine.) And again, I was very thankful for being allowed to wait in the truck where my 10 year old son was able to sleep until he could be seen. We were called back at 9 a.m., but were not able to see the doctor until 11 a. m. Thankfully, the nurses were very pleasant and responsive to my son's needs. He had not eaten since 7 p.m. the night before, and he was starving. After quickly checking with the doctor, they gave him some crackers and Gatorade that helped until we could be discharged and get him some lunch. I was a little disappointed that we were not able to see a neurologist, but the ER doctor was great, and they gave me a referral for the first time seizure clinic. Every doctor and nurse we met was phenomenal. They were caring, responsive to our needs and excelled in their jobs. I wish my son could have been seen more quickly, but I'm thankful that he was well enough that he could wait to be seen. My heart goes out to the parents whose children were in worse shape than my son was.

Wonderful place! The doctors, nurses, techs, and all around staff were amazing. I cannot express my gratitude for this hospital. Fourth floor nurses deserve medals for there humor, warmth, and skill. Nina, Olivia, Megan, Charlisa, and Kris Ann...we love you! The doctors were attentive and determined to find what was causing my daughters pain. Overall the experience was excellent. They treated you like family and truly cared.
To be around so many kids going through hell, but with smiling faces is heart felt and humbling. From the ER to the hospital this is forever recommended.
Thank you!!!

AS im sitting here waiting (going on about 25 minutes now) I decided to review my experience. Check-in was easy. The lady that did the preliminary registration was professional and fast, so great experience there. We were seen by the doctor quickly which was good. Dr. Muniz was great. Especially at explaining everything. Where I didn't have a good experience was waiting for my son to just give blood. They basically left us in a room. Once Emily came in the room, she was great. All in all a pretty good experience, but the wait time drops you down to 3.5-4. I was hoping we could beat a little traffic but that wait time got us. Kind staff though.

ER has always been great! It is often a wait but worth the wait. Every member of staff greets you with a smile and how can I help you?? Never had a bad experience there. Love the doctors and nurses. It's the greatest for my granddaughter. 4 & 6 floors are the best! The nurses are wonderful, and kind!! Nurses actually care and allow you to bond with them! The ancillary staff are the Best!!! We love it here!

i was sent here once, pretty nice hospital. it was clean and their bathrooms were actually nice compared to the many hospitals i've been to. the only issue i had was the staff, some of them were nice while the others seemed like they were too impatient to work with sensitive kids. some of the blood draws were kind of rough too. the art teacher was very nice, her name was hannah. she was the best out of all of the staff.
Alex Yang
My experience was amazing. The nurses, doctors, and staff were so friendly and helpful. The facility was also very spacious, allowing my family to be with our son throughout the whole process in comfort.

They go above and beyond! I really appreciate the doctors and nurses. My twins supposed to be in two different hospital locations but the nurses and doctors made it possible that my one twin gets transferred to the same hospital her sister needed to be transported to. So both can be at the same hospital in the same PICU floor. Thank you so much!!

Can not say enough positive things. My son was in the nicu for 20 days and they were outstanding and kind. From every aspect of his care to making sure I ate The absolute best medical facility

I have love this hospital and Doctors and nurses are great.I have a two star because my husband and I brought our five months old to the ER. A lady Doctor from New York was rude and had an attitude everytime we ask questions. She had no bedside manner. Especially dealing with children. I had to walk out to calm down. I have children, I can not deal with a woman child. Other than that the hospital in general is amazing.

This place has a review in the threes?
Please, spare me.
If you have children you'd be dang lucky to live near choa emory, It's a six. There's a reason why it rank's towards the top in the nation.
One of my kids has needed their services from early on, up until pre-adult. This place is so competent, so well managed, and very reassuring. (They have a great line of communication from the on-site staff to the doctors and specialist 24/7.)
So who to compliment? Honestly, the parking attendants, security, the behind the scene managers, the support staff, the people on the other line when you call, the nurses, the doctors, the well thought out facilities.
Basically, no complaints. One couldn't ask for a better team and place to take care of your kids. They are just as wonderful today as they were 5 years ago on our last visits.
Thank you team choa.

The nurse Laura 5East was phenomenal the entire stay with my son. Explain everything she’s doing also make sure the patient a& family member are comfortable.

It’s a really long 5 hour wait in ER but it was worth it because they specialize in children and put the extra care into these little ones. There are not too many childrens hospitals left so that results in really long wait times because everyone is bringing there child here. You have to be patient and understand this. The day before I brought my son here to Childrens HEALTHCARE. I went to Piedmont FAYETTVILLE and they sent me home and told me wait it out and there was nothing wrong. My son is 3 years old and was having difficulty breathing and very high fever and fatigue. The doctors here checked my baby thoroughly ran all the tests necessary and found out he was dehydrated and had pneumonia. Thank you to all Staff at Children’s Hospital.Special shout out To ER RN Jason he is and absolute Pro with a caring heart. Most of all Thank you Abba for the Motherly instinct that we know something is wrong and we won’t let up. APTTMH

The PICU nurses were amazing! Nurse John you are my grandsons favorite. Came by even when you were elsewhere. He asks the nurses on our new floor to find you. You Sir are the best of the best. Thank you for all you do!!!❤️

Great emergency room for children. Yes the wait is long. C'mon folks this is an EMERGENCY ROOM, dont bring your kids here for something minor because you will have to wait. There is minute clinics you could use too.
Jonathan Levan
I'll give the surgeons, nurses, techs, janitorial staff, doctors, and everyone else I can't think of 5 stars. My complaint, the cafeteria is complete bologna. We can't help we are stuck there but yet weekend menu is complete garbage and if you're there late in the week they are outta most food, never stocked and very very very limited in what you can get on weekends. Like I said everything but cafeteria is excellent.
Amanda Drummond
Wonderful experience EVERY SINGLE TIME we have to come. EVERY staff member is warm & welcoming…they listen, and are relatable. Thank you so much for helping my son!!

On 01/09/2023, I had to bring my beautiful daughter here, for her very 1st MRI and it went well, but it's the "Love" and "Support", that she and I received, while having this procedure done. The MRI Staff...Rock!"💁👧😊💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖 …

My daughter was rushed to this hospital because she suffers form anemia. Her levels dropped tremendously. The quality care was absolutely phenomenal. In the E.R I had the most wonderful nurses which were Kendra and Christy. Dr. Cohen had the most calm voice I have ever heard in my life. It so happened that my daughters birthday was the week prior and this day was my birthday. The staff Mrs. Lisa and a manager Mrs. Courtney even baked a cake for me since I celebrated my birthday with my daughter in the hospital. The nurses Sarah our dayshift nurse and McKenzie our evening nurse were also phenomenal. I am happy to say that my daughter had quality care across the clock. There was even a gentleman named Samuel that came around and inquired to see if we wanted any reading material from the library. The staff had amazing bedside manner and were unbelievable attentive. The overall esthetic of the hospital was beautiful to say the least. I will forever be grateful for the amazing staff to saving my daughters life. I wish all people could truly love their role and it pours into their work such as these individuals. I had a true sense of calm when every person whom I asked said" I love my job".. It definitely showed.
Richard Retana
I love this hospital. The employees are always really great. They do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and well taken care of. I've been here multiple times, and this is definitely the children's hospital to go to. The way they care for children is truly amazing.
Gerald Sutton
ICU Nurses and Staff thank you for taking such great care of our precious Granddaughter, Emma. Anna, Melissa, Immanuel and a great team of doctors.
Carla Sampson
I was amazed at the kindness and soothing patience each member showed my grandson. He had a traumatic experience and was terrified of what he would have to go through. From the moment we arrived the nurses and doctors, and everyone we met reassured us. They made a terrible situation bearable. I will forever be thankful. They answered any question he had and talked directly to him. Made his concerns important. That is care.
Jessica Rodriguez
They always take great care of my children ! They have saved there lives and put these children first kept me grounded with tough decisions. Thank you Choa for all that you do !

Every single person who works at this facility is so kind and helpful. Finally, a hospital where the staff seems to really care— and I mean everyone, from the sanitation staff to the registration staff, to the techs, nurses & doctors. They all are so helpful & pleasant here. If you ever need emergency care or assistance, this is the place. Thank you to them for making a stressful time for me worrying about my baby so much less stressful!!

I’ve always held CHOA in high regard, but our recent visit was disappointing. Our daughter had a very high fever, 104.2, and was lethargic, so we took her to CHOA’s ER at 2:45a. After 4 hrs in the waiting room and watching many families that arrived after us get seen, we decided to leave. There was no communication from the staff, which made us feel that they didn’t care.
Lisa Kennedy
The staff here is awesome and a blessing keep up the great work. Thank y’all all so much for all the love and care y’all have been giving this precious baby we are just getting started started but y’all have helped in every way possible.
Keilly Brown
My son was complaining of sharp pains in his ear that were absolutely unbearable. Everything was amazing from registration to treatment. All of the nurses were awesome and Dr. Taylor is so AMAZING!!!! Everyone treated us so kindly. I am so glad we went. They removed an ear tube and compacted wax that had been sitting in my son's ear for over a year. Thank you, Dr. Taylor and staff for your kindness, professionalism, and the BEST care ever!!!!!
Kaptain Kurt
My little girl just had her tonsils removed me and my wife was very nervous about the procedure. But the doctors and nurses were very reassuring. But needless to say the staff were very professional and took very good care of my little bundle of joy, and she’s sleeping much better. Thanks children health care of

My daughter was born with a heart condition and had to get open heart surgery and had to come here. Not only did they fly over to get her from where she was to rush her to the hospital, but they were very professional and very nice the whole time. They were great at explaining things that were going on and with the updates. I trusted them fully with her in their care and I highly recommend them to anybody.
Melissa Delgado
We stayed there for 9 days for my son all of the nurses and doctors were great 👍 …

I have been here many times and for a busy child hospital they are resonably fast. I also wanted to mention a lady named Neffy in triage. She was so kind and personable, I appreciate how she treated my daughter with care and patience and I saw some others come in after me and still the same treatment. I hope this doesn't go overlooked and she gets credit for going over and beyond! Thank you

I can not say how they are today , But in 1998 they were. The best in care and were kind and caring . My grand son was air lifted to them from Columbus,Ga.His lungs had deflated and heart stopped and in 2 weeks they gave me back a healthy little boy.
He still has problems with his lungs but inhalers take care of this problem.
Today he is 29yrs old now and was six then.
So in my opinion they know their stuff .

As a parent you never want the experience of taking your baby to the ER - but CHOA knows how to make this traumatic situation one of peace, clarity and exceptional care. We are so grateful for the way our child was treated today. No excessive waiting. Kindness and respectful interactions. Tenderness shown to our little one who was in pain. These people - everyone from the doctors and nurses to the hospital staff - are the creme de la creme. Again, my hope is that you don't have to experience taking your child to the ER, but if you do - please choose this incredible hospital.

I am so grateful for this hospital. As soon as they showed up to transport my son from another hospital I felt at ease. They were so professional. My son had a concussion, broken skull and bleeding in the brain. They were well trained and equipped to take care of him. Everyone at that hospital was a God sent. I can't tell you how scared we were but they took care of my boy and he has fully recovered with no permanent damage.

Update from July 2022. My daughter burned her hand on the stove, and I was hesitant to go back in after our last ordeal. However, they were great this time. We were triaged fast. We were in and out in about 2 hours time. The doctors and nurses were all very compassionate and knowledgeable. They got us in, Checked her thoroughly, asked questions of us and her, treated the burn, gave us aftercare instructions, and got us out. It was so different from the last time. So I’m hoping they’ve made improvements on the staff issues. Our resident it was his first day, and he was already more kind and knowledgeable than the nurse who’d been working for years last time.
So keep up the good work of making positive changes, CHOA.
Original review from March 2022 Most of the staff was very nice. I’ll start by saying that. But we ended up here TWICE yesterday with both my kids. First visit my daughter was running 104.5 fever and my son 103 when we left. They said they had 99.8 “not fevers” (under the arm. Which our ped said you always add 2 degrees to. Which would mean they DID!). Sent us home after 4 hours saying it’s viral without a single test.
Our pediatrician sent us back because she had 105 temp when we got home. They still tried to get us to say we didn’t want blood work. We said yes we did. Then the TRUE NIGHTMARE began.
They’d decided to put an iv in my sons hand. They held him down and proceeded to poke in his hand for 10 minutes while he screamed in pain. They kept saying if he’d just hold still and stop screaming, they’d have it. They poked and moved it around. They blew the vein in that hand. Then finally stopped. And IMMEDIATELY went to the other hand. And DID THE SAME THING! And after 10 more minutes if this, they stopped and the nurse walked out. And the one who had been assisting immediately put one in his arm.
It then turned out they didn’t even need IVs. And my son went from completely zoning out and not being responsive to screaming how much his stomach hurt over and over. Or that he needed the iv out of his arm and panicking.
The lady who brought play dough did help, though. It finally got his mind off of it. They then told us that everything came back normal. And it was just viral. Still refused to run a strep test.
Talking to my doctor today her white blood cell count was high. They lied. And my doctor wants to run a strep test. I’ve never been so disappointed. This is not somewhere I’d willingly take my kids again. I’ll drive to Scottish rite.
IF YOU EVER SEE A SHORT WHITE BLONDE NURSE WHO IS INCREDIBLY SKINNY WITH VEINS POPPING OUT OF HER ARMS ASK FOR SOMEONE ELSE! DO NOT LET HER DRAW BLOOD!

Caroline in the CICU, was amazing! I’ve never met with a nurse who had so much patience and she’s so sweet. Sweet Caroline stayed by my grandson, Roman Black’s, bed for 11 hour’s and you could tell she didn’t mind! She’s an angel here on Earth! Thank you for that, Caroline, he definitely needed a nurse with your compassion and sweet nature. Words can’t express how grateful I am, we are, for you.

Quick security and registration check points. Friendly team. Clean, like-new facility that is child-centric.

So amazed about ER staff, brought my Son to ER late night. Staff were very professional from registration to discharge. ER doctor kept coming to our room and addressed our questions and concerns. Thank you also to amazing nursing staff and Respiratory therapist.

Love the doctors here! Also the representative on the phone very helpful

My 28 month old had to have her PDA closed and went here for her procedure. Dad and I were extremely nervous and the staff provided top notch service from start to finish. The nurses, staff and doctors are unbelievable nice, friendly and very loving, you can tell there passionate and enjoy what they do. Our team was the best , made my daughter feel like a princess. We were there for Christmas Eve and they brought her a gift to ensure she had a gift for Christmas which was very touching on top of giving me a 20 gift. The little things mean the most during our time we visited there library and again the staff went above and beyond to make my baby smile. She was given a doll and book which she loved. The staff explained her procedure step by step and kept us updated on everything, every step of he way. We are forever grateful to Children’s Hospital. To see my baby breath normally and smile again I would recommend this hospital again and again.

This is a wonderful hospital. Because my son was up last August 8 they got great Dr..and the people are so nice..and the food is good. Thanks y'all help my son..

Kaite in PICU and the male night nurse (on 4-21-22/4-22-22) were absolutely amazing with my daughter and my family. They always were telling us what was happening or what was going to happen. The other staff not so much. Extremely rude and talk to you as if you are stupid.
Tykerria Tunstall
Everything and everybody was really nice and helpful especially Brandon in the ER department. We me and my baby were there for 10 hours but it wasn’t a bad thing they tended to him and made sure he was okay before us leaving the facility they closely monitored him the whole time. They even sent someone down to sit with him while I went and got food and had someone escort me to and from cafeteria. Great place!

I cannot thank them enough. I had taken my 2 y/o daughter to a general hospital (will not be named) because she couldn’t stop vomiting to the point she was lethargic. I waited 4+ hours at the general hospital only to be told she was constipated & they said she wasn’t lethargic. I left immediately & drove 40 minutes to Children's Healthcare. They immediately rushed us back and my child was indeed lethargic and severely dehydrated. She was admitted and the care my daughter received was above my own expectations. The team of doctors who were in charge of my daughters health were patient and listened to my concerns. The nurses were angels all of them. Thank you so much

I called CHOA because I had questions about my son temperature the rep got all of my info & said a nurse would call me back I got a call back 15 min later by nurse Kim she was the best! She answered all of questions she’s very knowledgeable and seem like she really cared and enjoyed her job! Thank you nurse Kim for taking my phone call & calling me back I really appreciate it!

This place saved 2 of my children's lives. To this day one of my children still gets treaded there and I thank God I moved here because my youngest has a rare EOE immune disorder that took them 2 weeks to diagnose. (That's actually good! ) and now he's thriving still with his issue because of them. Y'all complaining about the wait time need to stop. Those parents whose kids went in before yours felt the same way at the time. I get it, so did I. Nobodies perfect and they work 14 to 18 hour days. If someone was rude then report them. Don't blame the whole hospital. We moved away 2 years in and it's amazing how quickly we moved back for better health care for my children. Thank you CHOA! I truly appreciate and love you guys!

I am really saddened by what I read in the bad reviews. My experience was stellar! I took my son to the ER for possible appendicitis. There were 3 patients in front of us. Naturally, at the time, I wished they had attended us first since my son was in acute pain. But I think the process was normal, like any other ER I have been to. They did move through the patients very quickly and took no breaks until we were all seen. My son was in a bed in less than 20 min from arrival. When one’s child is in excruciating pain, 20 min certainly feels like an eternity. Once we were assigned a room we encountered nothing but kind, patient, concerned, and caring nurses and doctors. We felt like we were in great, capable hands. Thank goodness my son is ok. I had a variety of hospitals to choose from. We made the right choice in choosing Children’s - Egleston.
Jessica Leach
Everyone here in the ER was amazing and so patient with my very talkative son who had a broken arm. They were so attentive and caring. I would give them 10 stars if I could.
Janet Hannah
This place is absolutely amazing!! We took my granddaughter in to the emergency room because she was very sick and running a fever. (She also has a heart condition that will require surgery at the end of June.) She had a virus that caused her to develop pneumonia. She was admitted and we spent 5 days in the cardiac unit. Let me just say, these nurses and doctors went above and beyond for her. They also went above and beyond for her mom and me. They have eased some of my fears on her upcoming surgery and I am so grateful!! I would not take her any where else.
CHOA, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!! For getting our baby back in good health and easing this Mimi's mind.

My granddaughter is currently a patient in the PICU.
The staff everywhere have been excellent and accommodating from the checking desk, emergency room and Cafe, Parking.
I recently had the worst service at the Starbucks. 1 August 2021@1900hrs.
The employee named Trinity was horrible. She was in her cellphone while serving a customer, her mask was below her nose.
I asked her to please put it over her nose, she did.
She finished with the customer and then asked me what I wanted with her cellphone in her hand with someone on the phone talking to her.
I asked if she was going to put away her cell phone and give me proper service. Her voice got very loud and said WHAT DO YOU WANT, I her who was the supervisor. She said again, WHAT DO YOU WANT, I asked again for a supervisor, she proceeded to walk to the back with her cellphone, she said go to the cafeteria.
I did and wrote this up with the Supervisor Teresa, who was very customer friendly.
I still wanted coffee and the supervisor was gracious enough to make it for me.
I am an Army Veteran with 26 years of honorable service and I have PTSD.
Her horrible attitude triggered me. And I had no choice but to write this up.
Customer Service is very important everywhere especially in a hospital where you have a loved one being treated.
I would have given 5 stars but Miss Trinity was Horrible.

My son had a procedure done on his heart here. From the time of admissions, everyone was so kind and helpful. It was less stressful because they do care and were there for the entire family even after discharge. Before he had his procedure, one of his nurses, Marla, provided exceptional care. She was helpful, showed compassion, and sweet. The entire staff from anesthesiologist, to the nurse, and his surgeon Dr Ficshbach, made the stay a lot smoother. The children in their care are important people to them! It was clean and comfortable in the room. There was a place for me to sleep so I could stay with him the entire time.
Mela Mela
Took my son here for an X-ray and then ER visit..the staff was very informative, welcoming and helpful..the two nurses that helped me with my son was patient and treated him like he was there own, even giving him a toy car to take home..Definitely my choice in emergency care for children.
Kasey Kelley
I brought my daughter here for the first time with a variety of symptoms. We were taken back before we even had a chance to sit down. The staff, from the front office clerks, to the nurses, to the doctors, were very friendly. They all had a great bedside manner. They were very thorough to make sure they knew exactly what was going on without guessing what it was, which is what happens at a lot of hospitals. I was very impressed and will bring my daughter here if she needs emergency care in the future.

Everyone was very nice!! My 3 week old son caught the flu back in 2014. We had been out the country for a 2 weeks due to Extraordinary reasons and I hadn't had much sleep. My son was super fussy and wouldn't sleep at all at night due to him being sick. Finally, the second night we were there,( he was admitted for a couple of days), I didn't have energy and I thought I was going crazy. I asked the nurse to please help me with him. She was super sweet and told me not to worry and sleep, ( mind you, it was 4 am). Our stay was very comfortable due to the Medical team. I love this hospital. I always bring my kids here whenever they don't feel well. Keep it up!!
Jenna Brock
My son had surgery on his legs here 3 days ago and was put under anesthesia, and he has been under anesthesia before at other hospitals. When I tell you that CHOA went above and beyond to make our experience as smooth as possible, that doesn't even give them justice! They were AMAZING! They made sure my child felt no pain or anxiety through out the whole process and I can never thank them enough! They really cater to children and it's awesome the work that they do. Thanks again! ❤❤❤
Skylar Newsome
I had a great experience. Every was so kind and helpful. I went for a fetal MRI. MRIs are not fun but the nurses made me as comfortable as they could and they were so nice. Ms. Cynthia is such a kind woman I'm so happy she was there for my visit.
Christy DuVall
My granddaughter has been admitted here 3 times and each time the nurses and doctors are absolutely the best. They are helpful when you've had no sleep for days and they see it in you. They don't mind helping in any way to make sure my daughter and granddaughter were both okay during her stay. We only our angel baby to Egleston.

I brought my 7 month old in 2 consecutive nights and had 2 entirely different encounters. I want to focus on the 2nd experience. She had a fever of 104 and was checked in promptly. Triage was thorough in gathering information and administering medication to rapidly reduce her fever. We saw Dr. Kroone, she is PHENOMENAL! Her feedback and knowledge was exceptional. She provided more than enough information to help us understand our daughter's condition. I left one with an infant whose fever was broken and educated to further care for her. Thank you Dr. Kroone for the invaluable care for our family!

My daughter recently went to the er at this hospital and we were blown away. I dont believe we have ever been anywhere that moved as quickly as they did and yet were still thorough and kind. We were greeted by the receptionist who was so kind and made an uncomfortable visit pleasant. The nurses and doctors were just as welcoming and pleasant. They listened to her patiently and we left sure that they did all they could to make her feel better there and in the future! Thank you for taking such good care of my little one!

My 10 yr old son, Heru recently had to have his appendix removed. I had to leave him overnight for his surgery. When I met the staff, I was immediately put at ease, and felt safe leaving my son in their capable hands. The entire staff was professional, courteous, friendly. They all seemed to love their jobs, and love working with children, I was kept abreast every step of the way, in my son's care plan, the surgeon, anesthesiologist, OR nurse all contacted me, to update me. His nurse Brittany was the best. My son loves her, he loved his visit to the hospital, I told him not to love it too much. I cannot rave about this children hospital enough, being a former healthcare worker myself. I can honestly say this level of care, compassion, dedecation is amazing to see. You can't fake this. I only wish I had a million dollars to donate to this, magnificent hospital, wing and staff. I am so humbled and grateful my son, was treated here. Last but not least, the architecture of the building is stunning inside and out, rooms bright and clean, state of the art equipment, latest game play for the children. Overall a very positive experience in a time of worry. Thank you Children Healthcare of Atlanta. You Rock!!!
Elizabeth Mayes-Washington
They treated our baby and family so well when we had to be here. It was a tense time and they made us feel very comfortable. We were here before and during the start of the pandemic. They handled everything as best as they could, considering it was unprecedented.

I absolutely love all of the nurses and doctors at this facility. They are awesome!

If I could give them 100 stars I would. I've been going here ever since I was 9 years old up until I was 20 years old when I transferred to Emory 4 years ago. As a patient here during that time was amazing. They have the best staff I've ever experienced, the building is super clean and always looking nice, and the people there are super friendly. While me having to stay overnight for weeks throughout those years Children's became my second home. Almost everybody there knew who my mom and I were. I had some bad times here (not due to the staff just personal things) and a lot of good times here. I know when I do have children some day this is the place that I will be bring them if something ever happens to them.

We have been here for 5 days now and I have to say every nurse I have had on the Cardio Step Down Unit has been Phenomenal!!! Jade is the sweetest nurse ever and made my first two nights so much better. She was always checking on us and my daughter. She lights up the room!!! She def needs recognition for how good of a job she does!!!

We were there in March 1983, with our son, Colt. No way to share then but this hospital will always remain in my heart. Absolute great staff from top to bottom. Doctor's, best I've ever seen. Love, genuine caring for patient and family. Just wanted to drop a HUGH THANK YOU for all that you continue to do in caring for our precious, innocent souls.

My daughter was hospitalized for a few days here and I am so appreciative of the care given to her. We didn’t have to sit and wait around for answers or care. The only thing that frustrated me was them putting her on “bowel rest”. She cried all night from being so hungry. But they made me feel comfortable, the staff was very friendly and professional. I’ve always said that people who take care of babies are Angels. And that’s coming from someone that worked in geriatric care and Neuroscience ICU for 16 years. 🦋✨

My daughter had to come here for some blood tests as a follow up appointment. The staff was great and treated my daughter with respect and attempted to try different solutions for my daughters fear of getting her blood drawn. The only issue we had was the rude security guard. Overall, I am very pleased with my visit to this location.

Amazing children's hospital. They saved my 14 month old son's life. We brought him into the ER for what we thought was anaphylactic shock. The ER doctor had the foresight to go ahead and get xrays and ultrasounds done, which found a huge abcess in his throat and lungs. We just spent 15 days in their amazing PICU, had 3 surgeries, and a ton of antibiotics, and my son is doing great. The nursing staff at CHOA Egleston has truly made this horrifying experience more bearable. I'm so thankful to them, the surgeons, and doctors. Take your kids to CHOA.

My son was hospitalized for several days here.
We were transferred via ambulance from Athens Regional due to my son having high elevated liver enzymes. High ALT levels etc...
They never really found a cause just that his liver was under attack.
I just want to say that he LOVED the butterfly garden. He was 3 at the time.
I don’t remember our nurses names but I remember they were SO nice. I felt bad for one of the patients next door to us. She was a foster child and there was no one that came and vises her the whole time we were there. Kinda sad.
They had a playroom that others near him could play in. So many kids in there hookup up to monitors playing.
4 years later and I still think about CHOA!!
We are now having our son tested here in neuropsychology.

Katy in Triage was great the Dr was great the facility horrible n filthy

Waited maybe about 10 minutes from walk in to admit in the ED (yesterday). Nurses and provider were kind to both me and my 19m old. Highly recommend.
Valencia McNeil
My son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. We were in there for 3 days. The nurses on the 5th floor were very friendly and hands on. They educated us with everything we needed to know about the diagnosis and made sure we were comfortable and understood the proper care once we had the ok to go home.
Melissa Duncan
My child had a liver transplant in October. Of 2012 some of the staff was great and some of the doctor. Was as well there was one well went out of his way to make me and daddy feel. Good and he's liver team was alsome. And God bless them thank to Dr Romero and staff
Lena
My 2 1/2 day experience here was OUTSTANDING. I'm not saying that just because someone told me to. I may be young, but I know a great staff when I see it. The nurses and doctors make you feel very comfortable. Before I came here, I hated going to the doctor/hospital because it always gave me anxiety. This experience changed my mindset COMPLETELY. I really think it's the best Children's Hospital right now in this day and time. The nurses, doctors, and surgians are really awesome, funny, and kind. And you really need something/someone to lift your spirits while in pain. They definitely won me over. Best experience!! Thank you Ms. Sophie, Ms. Maranda, and Mrs. Emily C.😊
Matt McLaughlin
Excellent care and service! They have treated my son and wife and I like family! They really helped through a dark time and made us see the progress and positive. Excellent care and facility....please keep up the great work! Your employees dedication has helped us through a tough transition and made it a positive! I know we aren’t done yet.....however with CHOA there is hope!

WORDS CAN NOT DESCRIBE my deepest appreciation for the staff and doctors here!! At such trying time, my whole family was on pins and needles about my daughters heart procedure. The staff was very comforting, patient and friendly. I NEVER through out our whole stay came across anyone who wasn't smiling and reassuring. The doctors and nurses are very knowledgeable and experienced. My daughters surgery was a breeze physically and emotional thanks to Children's Healthcare Of Atlanta At Egleston. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Truly an Amazing Hospital! The Picu staff is Phenomenal!!!So grateful for all the hard work done by Doctors Nurses Techs Radiology Reception Parking attendants and Janitorial staff! There is definitely a certain level of team work that is required to provide quality care for our children and I applaud Egleston for making it all happen on a daily basis. Thank you all for taking such good care of my son and being supportive of our family during such a difficult time! God Bless!
christy davies
My 17 year old daughter just spent three and a half days here and couldn't be happier with her treatment! She had a horrible kidney infection and was treated like she was the only patient there! I met parents that love this place so much that they drove all the way from other states! The nurses, especially Lindsay and Lindsay, were awesome!
Diana Cruz
The staff at Egleston Children's hospital is the most fantastic bunch of heros ever. They tended to my 1yr with such care. It was like she was their child also. My son was with us and even though he was not being tended to for anything they treated him so awesome.Thank you so much Everyone. Especially Dr DE and Nurse Doris.
Cat Acosta
Drove 6 hrs to get to this hospital. Staff were great, hospital was Very kid friendly. They even have radio flyer wagons on the parking decks to transport children all over. Very large and if in the Emergency room parking is free. Not sure if you are admitted.
Jenn Lexiy
My daughter is 17 and is currently a chemo patient here, We've been driving from Warner-Robins to this hospital for 4months now & have 3months left. We absolutely LOVE this hospital. Our Nurses have become family, Candace Saxton is INCREDIBLE, she is mainly our night nurse and when she's our nurse I KNOW we'll get a good nights rest as she NEVER turns on lights when she enters our room, nor does she let the door slam when leaving! In addition, she times the fluids so the machine NEVER beeps and NO other nurse does that, it would be GREAT if they did because my baby's fluids have her going to the bathroom EVERY HOUR & I have to get up with her to help her so we need all the sleep we can get...THANK YOU CANDICE ❤ Dr Olson is our doctor, he's AMAZING, Christy Powell is WONDERFUL, Colleen Austin, Is a GOD SEND, Dawn Stys is FABULOUS, Sarah Rosonet is the BEST, Amanda Vann Should be a CEO, Katherine Glasscox, Holly Morrison , Elizabeth Stepanek, NANCY, Sarah in the Aflac clinic, the Triage Ladies We LOVE ALL of Yall...These women genuinely CARE about my baby & we are FOREVER GRATEFUL ❤
*UPDATE: As of OCT 2020 My daughter will be 7 years CANcer FREE 😁 You can find us on FB @Lexiy.Jenn ✌
Amir Hardy
My son went there and I love how they treated him I drove over 1 hour to get there and will drive again
Victor Walker
The only reason for 4 stars & not 5, is because the exits are not marked, I paid $20 for parking that should have been $5. I wish I had of known this before I got home, I thought they was really charging $20 for 4 hours of parking. I now for next time.
Sydney Gleason
Both of my kids have been admitted for various ER visits as infants and the staff, especially nurses, made us feel as comfortable as possible. Very clean and beautiful facility.

Kaiser should consider outsourcing all of their pediatric care to CHOA. I came to the ER at Egleston for the first time after a sorry Pediatrician at the Sandy Springs location of Kaiser refused to adequately treat my son. I'm so angry because everything the doctor at Egleston did, the Kaiser doctor could have done. I just don't get it with Kaiser. Some of their doctors are great, but the ones that aren't make it really bad for those that are. The Kaiser pediatrician who treated my son at Sandy Springs need her walking papers tomorrow! The doctor at Egleston carefully listened to the presenting symptoms of my son and based on my concern for an infection, she did a COMPLETE work-up which included a much needed x-ray and test for pertussis. Although my son has had all of his vaccinations, I was completely on board when she and her team explained why they were doing this test. This comprehensive approach to care gave me the peace of mind that was so needed. I must say that I am very pleased.

CHOA Egleston saved my son's life. He has been there multiple times and the clinical staff is beyond amazing. I give 4 stars because of the food service, both the cafeteria and the room service. I would get better service at a midtown McDonalds. The staff is rude. Yesterday, when I called for food because I couldn't leave my so alone, I asked for Powerade. The lady says "red or blue". I asked if she had Zero (sugar substitute) in either flavor. She repeats "red or blue". I asked for red and got regular. I ordered a bagel which comes with cream cheese on the menu. No cream cheese. I asked for raisins instead of fruit for the oatmeal, got plain oatmeal.
Today in the cafeteria, the lunch hours are clearly marked as 10-230. I showed up at 1245 and no stations were open. They were pushing everyone down to the pre-made fried chicken area. When I went to ring up, the two cashiers were talking to another employee. The cashier hepping me only stopped long enough to ask me if I had brought the soda in my hand from my room. Then, he returned to his chat. I felt like a prisoner, not a worried mother with a very sick boy. If I am stuck with no way out to get food elsewhere, I should not be treated like a prisoner or a thief. CHOA, work on your food service or fire and hire a new company.
Funmibi Obajimi
The best children's hospital yet. I love this place. Should not feel like it's home but I always feel at home here
Courtney Collins
Always a wonderful experience with CHOA. On a recent visit my youngest daughter received a toy after doing well during her x-ray. The tech only had one left so of course my oldest daughter was disappointed. Jump forward fifteen minutes and the x-ray tech returned with a stuffed bear she found! That's top notch service and care. Thank you CHOA!
Mindy Johnson
My son really gets spoiled when he comes here he really likes it he's only been 2 the ER so whatever they are doing keep up the good work. I the mother have sickle cell and have seen a lot of children's hospital and this hospital would be my second choice my 1st pick would be Scottish Rite...
Trelis Smith
The staff does a great job with all the patients and I love bringing my kids here. I just know their going to give them the best care for whatever wrong with them. I've been coming to this hospital for 25 plus years and going to continue with my kids. I trust the doctors and especially those magnificent nurses that does a great job. This hospital goes beyond the limit of healthcare for their patients and family members. God has bless Atlanta with the best hospital staff to help our family members and I appreciate it so much. Thank God for Elgeston Children's Hospital and all the others E.C.O. A. affiliate with Elgeston.
Martin Runnström
Highly inefficient checkin process. Had to go to five stations. Otherwise staff and experience great.
Johnnica H Myrick
They saved my son. It was a long stay far from home, but they saved our son. God Bless the doctors, surgeons, nurses, Emory doctors, and the CDC nearby. Our infant received the best modern medicine could offer- I wish I could add stars forever...
Vanessa Villanueva
Took my 3 year old due to a stomach virus, and everyone in the ER department treated us very well. Fast service and everyone was so polite and nice. They treated my son with so much care.
Kathy Simpson
Our daughter received, not 1 but 2 kidneys on March 10,2015. Our child has had over 50 operations sence day one. She is scheduled to be released today..Their was a time when we thought this wasnt possible and that due to age and special needs she would not be treated here...They have went above and beyond to help our child!! We will never be able to express our gratitude and love for this hospital. As with all hospitals, drs etc we had a few we didnt like as much as the other, a few upsets but they were quickly noticed and acted upon...Thank you from the Simpson Family!! Go TEAM KIMBERLY!!
Donna Talley
Ooh My. Where should I start. One word... Amazing! Kidney Transplant Doctors take my breath away on all they do for my son and all the other patients. Thank you for allowing GOD'S gift to Bless these Angels of his. Hugs and kisses!
Denisha Green
My son just had heart surgery and we were here two months waiting for surgery. I absolutely love the staff here, the nurses and doctors were just wonderful.
Lindsay Purdy
C.H.O.A is the only place I take my 2 kids! Thats if their pediatrician can't see them, or course.... Bc I learned quickly after I took both my kids to our local ER and both times they didn't care for my kids properly. So now I will gladly drive the 45-90 min, depending on traffic, to get my kids the awesome care that C.H.O.A offers. From the many ER trips, to having quick outpatient surgeries, to a week long stay so they could figure out what was wrong with my kid and get him on the road to recovery...C.H.O.A is #1. And I trust them with no worries when they are caring for my children!
LaTasha Chavous
If your child is sick or hurt, please know that regular adult ERs are NOT for them. I have been coming to Children's since my oldest was a baby. He will be 18 this year. This place just gets better and better 💙💙💙!! …

Being from Cleveland, Ohio I had a choice of Rainbow Babies & Children’s or Cleveland Clinic Children’s and having had my child hospitalized in either system was ok. Living here and only having CHOA to be the ONLY children’s hospital system is aggravating at times. Some of the drs at Egleston need a course in bedside manner. I’ve had to ban a Dr from coming in my child’s room. And since she’s been diagnosed with two illnesses now anytime she will be admitted I now have others to add to my list. The drs don’t like to be questioned and they don’t listen. NO ONE knows your child better than you. Yet, they choose to do what they think is best and it still doesn’t work. So beware if your child is ill with ANYTHING that requires thinking you’re headed for an uphill battle at Egleston. Now that she has a neuro Dr who is out of Scottish rite, I’m hoping we’ll have a better chance there.
Zaria Wood
hands down the BEST hospital ! My baby was a ecmo patient here in the Nicu , and boy must i say i'm so glad CHOA: Egleston was our hospital . So kind , understanding , caring , and respectful . The staff really made my baby's stay much better.
Ivy Jones
When my daughter had her surgery in 2008 we was treated like Royalty the surgeons nurses and staff were all sweet. They are the best children's hospital in the nation.
Aromatic Fragrances International
Good staff, clean and friendly facility. I don't like hospitals, but if you have to go this place is top notch. Look at this way. If I would take my child here it must be good. I passed 6 other hospitals to come here.
Nurse Infinity
My daughter has had all 5 of her surgeries here. Wonderful experience (not the surgeries) everytime. Staff is so friendly and the stay is warm welcomed!
April Jenkins
We were visiting a friend from out of state, and my son pulled his G-Button out over night, and when I noticed it, the hole was trying to close up. I had to take him to CHOA at Egelston's. The whole staff was awesome! Other than his horrible bruise from them having to withdraw his blood, of course! I loved it there, and am glad to say we will be moving to GA soon, so we will be visiting this hospital as my LO gets sick often!
Nicole Kitt-Wilson
I am a mother of 7 children. Never I my wildest dreams did i think that i would wind up at THIS particular hospital for the reasons that I was there for. Children's Hospital of Atlanta at Egleston is THE best hospital. My child was made to feel comfortable and safe. The nurses in the PICU had a certain special "thing" that every nurse should have. The willingness to help. Sometimes when you are uncertain about the next stage or the next step, they are there to carry you all the way. Margaret Ann, Ms J (wink) and Kristin....YOU GIRLS ROCK!!! HARD!! Dr. Jones... You are a GOD send!!! Farah.... You are a special soul that EVERYONE should know!! The nurses in the PICU of CHOA at Egleston set the standard for what GOOD nurses should be.
From the bottom of our hearts....
Thank you and God bless you all....
Joseph Garcia

Letoria B
They have the best, knowledgeable doctors.
They could improve on their time and productivity. They be having patients wait for way too long to see an ER doctor.
Chelsea Brantley
The best children's hospital ever! Everything about this place is amazing
Bradford Norris
Dropped off Flowers for a patient.. the security and front desk people.. were rude to me and a lady behind me ...as if being in the hospital for children isn't bad enough....

The only place I take my children. I went here as a kid myself. I don’t trust any other hospital with my children. They identified asthma in my son after his breathing became extremely difficult.
Karoline Kish
I'm a pre med student and have worked/volunteered/shadowed at as many as 7 different hospitals. I can confidently say that no other hospital has an atmosphere quite like CHOA. The staff there care immeasurably more about their jobs, their patients, and each other.
Michael Harper
The place has to b God sent to Atlanta we were treated so nice on 11/12/17 by everyone. They were the same almost 21years ago when my oldest grandson had surgery around 4/15/1997 thanks so much& may God bless u all.

The entire staff was amazing with my 5 month old son and went out of their way to comfort my husband and I while we unfortunately had to take my angel off of the ECMO and life support, but through those 13 days of hell the nurses and doctors did everything that they could for my son as well as my husband and myself...

My first time visiting this hospital. My baby was transferred here Monday morning for a heart problem we didn't know she had.I can say the Doctors and Nurses are about the children there. My stay here made it seem like my daughter that is 2 months old was their top priority we were on the 5th floor room 5208 Sept17-19.My nerves was bad the first day but the staff there made me feel better. My baby did not get to have her surgery because of a sickness she had so we have too return for the surgery but I know without a doubt GOD first and with the Doctors and Nurses she will be ok.All the Nurses there were great hands down but the Nurse Hannah she's the BEST.I wish I could have her during my daughter surgery.I will recommend anyone
