6/29/22 my Husband and I just arrived at this medical center . They have parking valet and self park. From hotel to here a lot of winding roads can be a bit confusing . Thank Christ we found our way to Dana Faber. You need to wear mask at all times. Their mask is first class tho . first floor you get your name tag and asked pre-screening COVID question . Then you go on the second floor for check in and lab services . So far everyone we have encounter that work here is five service. Found a nice little chapel , alway make sure in the chapel or not that you pray specially in places like this . Pray in the name of Jesus that is the name above all names .

I have been very happy with the doctors and staff at DFCI. I have a great doctor, appointments have always been kept. I've been going into Dana Faber for over 2 years now on a regular basis. Only draw back is driving into the city, it take a while with all the traffic.

Some of the best doctors in the world are right here at Dana Farber. They are caring, compassionate & knowledgeable. Dr. Rubinson made my husband feel like he was his only patient. He was always honest & open to my husband's thoughts & suggestions. My mom is currently being treated & Dr. McCleary is a ray of light in a pretty dark time. As an employee it's difficult hearing some of the stories, but it lightens the heart knowing you are part of a team that puts the patient first, they don't just treat the disease they treat the whole patient mind, body & soul.

My physicians at Dana Farber are spectacular. At 1:30 pm on Tuesday, I learned that I needed treatment for my lymphoma, By 2:30, I had 4 infusion appointments scheduled; at 4pm I was scheduled for a zoom session on Wednesday with my radiologist; at 11am Wednesday, I was scheduled for a radiation planning session on Thursday and 2 treatments the following week. Amazing efficiency .....

Been a patient here since February of 2016 and it's a terrific and top-notch cancer treatment facility. My doctor, Dr. Daniel D'Angelo, my nurse practitioner, Katherine Edmonds, and my infusion nurse, Jeneanne Sudai (not sure if I spelled her first name correctly) were wonderful staff who worked hard to cure me from full lymphoblastic lymphoma. I come here every six months for a checkup and a CT scan, I'm always happy to see them during my visit, and they're always happy to see me as well. I will always be thankful to Dana Farber for everything they have done for me!

Absolutely phenomenal. I was misdiagnosed with high-grade endocrine cancer. DF ran tons of tests - tests I didn't even understand - and found out I had another type of stage 3 cancer, one that needed an entirely different chemo drug. They don't take anybody's word for anything. They got the original biopsy slides and reran everything in their own lab. I believe I am alive today because of them.

Dana Farber is a wonderful place! Yes, I have had good news and bad news. Sometimes the focus of others is the bad news, but not here.I have laughed and I have cried. And, I have been educated directly by Eric Winer, M.D. and his staff - all of them. And currently, his Nurse Practitioner is Jennifer McKenna following in the great big footprints of her predecessor Janet Kunzman who was with him for many, many years. She was right there, calming and available to me and to my family. I respect them, took my treatment there and then took an 8 week course on life after breast cancer treatment. It was wonderful and covered the items that help to make our life run better - nutrition, work, insurance, sexual intimacy, financials, clinical and homeopathic treatments, mental and emotional health, nutrition and the return to what we miss! I'm sure they covered more than these umbrella topics as well, too far to number. Tomorrow, I will be returning because of something discovered that may or may not be related to cancer. But, I know they will firmly hold my hands, look into my eyes and deal with every aspect of this unknown problem. Let's hope they share good news then because I'll be in the right place to handle whatever comes my way. I feel the same for you!

MD/ RN' s are great. Very knowledgeable providers. Lots of time in between appointments sitting around. Many delayed appointments and no update. Clinic runs an hour or more behind schedule. 6 hours so far for a 20min visit with NP and 1 hour infusion. Still waiting for scripts.......

This is the most amazing hospital I've ever been too. My daughter is 5 years old, and has a rare blood disorder. They have the most amazing nurses, doctors, and social workers, that strive to make every visit as comfortable as they possibly can

Fantastic people and services. While I wouldn't say I have changed my opinion.....I do feel a little disappointed. A large percentage of the staff on every level is great, there have been some that seem to be not focused. My cancer is rare.....I get that. However now I don't know if I'm dieing from it cuz I'm out of options or they are still trying to find out what to do. If I had another type of more "typical cancer" I would be getting treated different. It's still one of the best places for cancer treatment in the world. However I don't know if it's giving that to me.

Is there any reason that you have to wait 2+ hours to get your prescription filled here? 1st visit we were here for 8 hours. (Totsl time with actual staff = 1.5 hours) 2nd visit, so far 6 hours (total time with staff = 30 minutes) Feeling like a cross between the RMV & a car dealership. They don't want you to leave.... there has to be a better way to accommodate patients that are on a time schedule. People have to work too regardless of being sick...starting to think about looking at other options for care.

DFCI is like a gift in hardest of times.. I have been coming to DF for since 2011 for myself and/or a family member . We come all the way from Syracuse,NY. Not an easy trip in winters. I am a medical provider myself as a Physician Assistant. From the parking staff to the Doctors, one is treated with kindness, infinite patience, the most advanced technological services, and inquisitive, thorough up to the minute medical care. Kudos to all of the doctors known and unknown who have kept me alive and active . And to all those less often recognized but who so influence the patient experince, I appreciate your care so very much.

I wrote this on my FB Page. I had my 3 month check in yesterday. I was extremely anxious as I have been experiencing various side effects from the drug I am on. When Dr. Brown came into the examine room she looked at me and said, David are you ok? It was very clear to her that I was not. We talked about my experiences with the drug , then she examined me. She sat down and turned her computer so I could see the lab results and said David i know this diffcult but look at your numbers. The drug is working, when you feel anxious think of this. As she talked I became much calmer and by the time I left she had me laughing. I share this with you so as you think of where to donate to I ask you consider donating to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Brown and every person I interacted with yesterday from the registration desk to the lab to the front office Team to the nurse who take vitals to the student Doctor and the Cafe staff were friendly, caring, and supportive. I left DF yesterday feeling so much better than when I went in. We all know of family and friends who are or have felt with cancer . Thank you for considering where your donation dollars go.

Dr Swanson and his team did everything they could to save my husband Norm Goulet who had Mesothelioma...they did a great job but unfortunately Norm got an infection, they fought with everything they had to save him but in the end norm wasn’t able to fight any longer....may he Rest In Peace......
